Fantastic venue with great options for customization

We had our wedding at the Orlando science center in March 2023. After hearing horror stories from friends about wedding planning, I was so grateful and impressed with the science center and their wonderful staff. We had the best night of our lives and had the most fun and beautiful wedding we could have ever hoped for.

The staff at the science center is very responsive to emails/calls. They answer questions thoroughly and offer different options for customization. For the wedding you have access to the fourth floor: there is a terrace outside, the our planet room (full of exhibits to interact with), and the Dino digs room. They also offer a beautiful sky bridge with different color crystals hanging from the ceiling to do your exit on. They offer options for different dance floor colors and sizes. They also have chairs and tables that you can utilize for your ceremony or reception.

The main help in the planning process was the list of preferred vendors. The science center has worked with the vendors on the list many times and it helps your wedding run super smoothly and if anything went wrong on my wedding day I was certainly unaware and didn’t notice any mistakes.

If you are thinking about the science center they also have a wedding expo twice a year called Unveil. I would highly recommend going just to meet vendors and see the space. They also have a brochure that you can access online with different pictures from previous weddings and all the info you need for planning.

The science center provides a month of coordinator to help with any questions or setup issues you might run into. We needed a couple easels and tables for welcome gifts/signs and they provided everything we needed. The coordinator worked with my wedding planner to help with any issues we might have run into. Overall the process was super smooth and we had such a great wedding. It was so much fun and looked amazing.

I HIGHLY recommend the science center for your wedding (or any special event really). They are professional and (as they will tell you) quite literally have their weddings down to a science. I planned my wedding in about 7 months and it was pretty stress free and I had THE BEST wedding. Thank you so much to the science center and staff for helping make our wedding the best freaking day of our lives!!!

The Best Place to have a Wedding!

My husband and I made the decision to get married at the Orlando Science Center before we even got engaged! One of the first things we bonded over in our relationship, was a mutual appreciation and love of dinosaurs, and when we found out there was a place that dinosaurs could be the backdrop for our reception-we knew OSC was going to be our wedding venue.

When my husband wanted to propose, he reached out Helen, Molly, and the team at the Science Center because he needed a theater, but he also thought it would be a fitting space since we wanted to get married there. The events team was totally on board and was so supportive and helpful every step of the way!

When it came time to plan our wedding, everything fell into place super easily thanks to OSC. We attended a couple of the Unveil wedding expo events at OSC, which gave us the opportunity to interact with our vendors and to start to picture what our wedding day would look like. We found all our vendors through OSC, and every single one was truly the best.

Communication with the events team at OSC was also amazing every step of the way. The team answered emails really quickly, but if there was ever a time they were unavailable, they left clear out of office emails with back up contact info and when they were expected to be back. I never felt silly asking my questions and always received professional answers.

When it came time for our wedding, everything turned out perfectly! We had communication with our day of coordinator a few weeks before the wedding and we were able to answer each other's questions so that our vision could come to life. Our ceremony was held on the terrace, followed by cocktail hour in Our Planet, and reception in Dino Digs.

It may sound cliche, but our wedding was absolutely perfect and our favorite day ever! My husband and I really enjoyed wedding planning every step of the way, and I am sure it's thanks to the amazing experience we had with the Orlando Science Center.

There aren't enough good things that we can say about our experience. We are truly so grateful for everything the team did for us. OSC was the perfect venue for us, and I'm so glad we decided to have our wedding there! We would live our wedding day all over again-not because we need a re-do, but because we just had the best time!

Fun venue!

The wedding planner team at OSC is top notch and always helpful. Stan the t-rex was a hit and little needs to be done to decorate when it's so interesting a venue to begin with.

Unique Fun Venue - October 2023

We couldn't have been happier with how the wedding and reception went at the Orlando Science Center, October '23. Everyone raved about the venue and the fun time they had. The entire 4th floor was ours for the evening: the Terrace for wedding, Our Planet for cocktails and Dino Digs for the reception. And the Sky Bridge for our send off.

Everyone was in awe when they walked into Dino Digs seeing the dinosaurs in a romantic setting with up lighting, candles, music, etc. It was way beyond what we imagined and hoped for. At the end of the evening, we said farewell to our guests on the walkover with lighted party sticks.

Living in Hawaii while planning a wedding was challenging, but from the beginning of our search in 2022 Director Helen gave us a great tour that sealed the deal. We were then assigned to our Coordinator Molly. She stepped in and always answered all our questions and concerns over the several months before the wedding. Alex, our Month/Day of Coordinator was just super fun, creative, and made sure we had everything we needed.
From helping with the setup to breaking it down the staff was very helpful and attentive. If any problems developed through the evening, we surely didn't know about it.

Orlando Science Center offers two great Unveils with vendors twice a year which makes it very convenient to touch base with your vendors. If you want a unique wedding setting you must check out this venue. And believe it or not the price was very affordable. Memories were made that night thanks to the Orlando Science Center.

Perfection! Unique and Magical!

This venue was so impressive! Our guests were amazed at how it transformed into a unique wedding venue. We were able to use the entire 4th floor and terrace for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. They have get-ready rooms for both bride and groom, and the staff was so incredibly helpful and organized throughout the entire process! They recommended great vendors and provided a day-of coordinator to make the day perfect! From the first day we visited, Molly was so helpful and responsive, and Lindsey was wonderful as our day-of coordinator. They were always readily available to answer all of our questions, responding usually the same day and multiple times/day. We had the ceremony in the Our Planet exhibit with the moon behind the wedding party and had the reception in Dino Digs with about 100 guests. Cocktail hour was in the Rotunda and on the Terrace. It is an option to have the ceremony on the terrace as well, weather permitting. We found the price to be very reasonable, and we were able to choose a caterer that was also affordable. We were also allowed to bring our own decor, and the staff set everything in place. We went to their Unveil Wedding Showcase to see it set up and meet many of the vendors. I cannot recommend this venue enough! If you want to give your guests a unique wedding experience with no stress, this is the place! They are wonderful to work with!

Unique and fun!

Great Venue, Super Unique!

Stressfree and organized

We had the pleasure of working with Alex to coordinate our wedding. Alex answered every question we had, and most likely anticipated multiple needs we didn't even know about. We had no stress thanks to her hard work and were able to have the most amazing time on our wedding day. The Science Center is such a fun and cool place to host a wedding, I HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing venue!

I couldn’t have imagined a more awesome venue for our wedding! Everyone loved it and had so much fun, especially the kids. The event staff were wonderful and helped make everything run smoothly without us having to worry. It was a perfect day, and I highly recommend OSC!!

Best Wedding I've Ever Had

.... granted this is my only wedding, but it was differently the best. Everything was handled with ease. Their planner and service staff made the experience excellent. We had a server follow us around with unlimited appetizers while we took photos. It was awesome

Best day EVER!

Everything went well and I would recommend their services to anyone who asked! Molly was fantastic and kept us informed of anything that was not clear or that wasn't working. The only issue we had with the whole event was that the wind would not allow for our table decorations! Please reach out to them and attend an Unveiled event, that is where we found our wedding cake that everyone loved!

Unique and fun wedding venue!

We booked the Orlando Science Center (OSC) as our wedding venue for our event on 8/6/2022. Helen, Laura, and Alex were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! We planned our wedding from out of town, but the OSC team was very flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. They were also willing to let us periodically visit the museum to help visualize decor and table placement. Their detailed planning questionnaire was very helpful in addition to the AllSeated diagram, which enabled us to further visualize the room setup prior to the day of the event. We received numerous compliments from our guests related to the uniqueness of the venue! We loved that we had three unique areas at the venue reserved for our event (ceremony in Our Planet, cocktail hour in the Rotunda and beautiful Terrace overlooking Orlando, and reception in Dino Digs). A few of our friends said it was the most kid friendly wedding ever since there were plenty of things around to keep the kiddos entertained! The best part is that we were able to include both our cat and dog in our ceremony! The Orlando Science Center is Incredible!

The Orlando Science Center is the perfect venue for a couple looking for something different and fun, but still has classic, romantic elements. We had our ceremony on the terrace, took photos in Loch Haven park, and then partied it up in the Dino room. As part of the venue, you work with a day-of coordinator and ours was fabulous! Alex kept us on track and organized, ensured every detail was how we wanted, and really made sure we had the best day ever--which we really, really did. We were commenting that we can't wait to bring our future kids back someday and relive our special wedding day :)

Amazing !!

When looking for venues, I never thought doing my wedding at the science center would be it. I thought it was going to be pricey like it is everywhere. The science center ended up being our cheapest option and it’s a great venue if you’re having a kid-friendly wedding! We did not have to provide additional things for the kids because it was all there. We enjoyed our night and we know that our guests absolutely loved it because it was so different. We absolutely loved having our wedding there and if I could do it again, I would!!

BEST Night of Our Lives

Having our wedding at the Orlando Science Center was the best decision we could have ever made! Not only did we fall in love with the space, but the way the space was utilized. We had a gorgeous ceremony on the terrace, then a fun and interactive cocktail hour in the Weather Room, followed by a huge room with HUGE dinosaurs to dance the night away. Helen and Laura were always a phone call away with any questions that I had, they made the whole process so stress free - so thank you so much ladies and the staff of OSC who helped make it the best night of our lives. I will be recommending the Orlando Science Center to anyone who asks because it was just that amazing!

An AMAZING venue, experience and wedding

OMG when I first saw the Orlando Science Center I knew that's where I wanted to get married!!! Everything was seriously so amazing!! Laura and Helen was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, and never let me feel that I was a bother. They were so flexible so with many things, I just couldn't believe how AMAZING our wedding turned out. It was truly a dream!!!

From start the finish the process was truly easy. We changed our minds a few times, and they were always so accommodating every single time! Our guest had such an amazing time and many said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! We know that a few family members are trying to top it, but they won't be able to, because they don't have this venue. This venue is truly EVERYTHING!!!! It's not only unique, but it's STUNNING!!! The lights, the views, the photogenic, and the ambiance of it all just truly can't be beat!!

I recommend the Science Center 10x's over!!! And I can't wait until we have kids and can bring them there!! That will truly be a special moment!!!

The Perfect Night

Helen, Laura, Hannah, and the team at the Orlando Science Center made my wedding day one that I wish I could relive over and over and over again. Wonderful unique venue!

I can't recommend the Orlando Science Center enough. Helen, Laura, and Micala were all so wonderful to work with. They were so responsive and so helpful when answering my millions of questions. They really have weddings down to an exact science! Their list of vendor recommendations were so helpful. I can't say enough wonderful things about Micala who was our day-of contact. She was so helpful at the rehearsal and on our wedding day! Everything ran so smoothly! All of our guests could not stop raving about the dinosaurs, the exhibits, and the terrace!

True Perfection

I cannot express how grateful I am for Helen, Shannon, and everyone who helped us out at the Orlando Science Center. I had originally booked a different venue but the pandemic threw a wrench in our 2020 plans, and we needed to find a new (responsible!) venue for our postponed celebration in 2021. Helen made it so easy and stress-free to book our space. Our wedding, on Halloween 2021, was absolutely perfect. Our guests were in love with the incredible details OSC allows for—like our gator guest at cocktail hour, custom T-Rex sign, and dress photo in the smaller dino’s mouth. Everyone had a great time playing with the AR dinosaurs and making the smaller dinosaur move and roar sporadically throughout the night—such a fun detail that was perfect for our Halloween theme! The photos are sheer perfection; everything truly looked remarkable. I can’t tell you how many of our guests told us afterwards that this was the coolest wedding they had ever been to, and OSC is definitely to thank for that praise! Could not have asked for a more perfect night at a more perfect venue.

Fun, unique venue and awesome staff!

We had such a great time at our recent wedding at the Orlando Science Center (OSC), and we’re so glad we picked it as our wedding venue! We had our reception outside on the terrace, cocktail hour in Our Planet, and our reception in Dino Digs. The entire events team at the OSC is incredibly good at what they do. Starting with our initial experience with the venue tour and continuing through all of the planning, we knew that our wedding was in good hands.

We had the experience of working with four different members of the OSC team, and they were all professional and easygoing. During the contract and planning stage it was great to work with Helen and Laura, and our coordinators on the wedding day, Micala and Jimi, were so helpful and made sure that everything went smoothly. The OSC is such a fun venue, so much more than the other wedding venues that we considered, with the interactive exhibits that our guests were able to enjoy throughout the evening. We’re so glad that we booked here, and highly recommend it for any and all events!

"the most fun venue ever"

I cannot even express how amazing this team and venue were! First guest couldn't stop telling us that it was the most fun wedding venue ever and I totally agree! We got way more bang for our buck than could have been expected! Not only was the venue excellent but also they had incredible recommendations for vendors and really helped us have the best wedding ever! I cried tears of joy when I walked into Dino digs because of how beautiful they made the place! I could redo my wedding 100 times and I would chose this venue every single time without a doubt!

Epic wedding

The science center was a perfect choice! Originally we were supposed to be outside for ceremony and reception, but it’s FL and the rain came, so we were pushed inside for the reception. I really didn’t want dinosaurs in all of our photos, but turns out, us being pushed inside was a positive thing! The dinosaurs are much cooler than i would have ever expected and our guests LOVED it! We partied pretty hard, cryojets, fireworks and all and the science center was amazing through it all. Truly a great value and an incredibly fun, and romantic, venue.

Unique & fun venue with amazing staff

DO YOU WANT A WEDDING VENUE THAT IS UNIQUE, FUN, AND DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHERS?! Then choose OSC, you absolutely will not be let down. So may of our guests came up to us to tell us how brilliant, unique, and fun it was to have our wedding at the Science Center. We had our cocktail hour in the Dino and Planet room, and our guests had access to all of the exhibits, so there was no "awkward lull" between the ceremony and reception. Everyone had a blast taking pics with the dinos, digging for fossils, and even being in the tornado simulation station! The staff was so accommodating and made everything so seamless. They went out of their way to make sure myself and my husband had nothing to stress about. Its also a HUGE plus that they allow you to bring in different vendors so you can really make your wedding true to you. Helen and her staff are amazing, 10/10 will recommend to anyone and everyone!

Memorable reception

The Orlando Science Center was a unique and memorable venue for our wedding and I love how flexible they were with us. Working with Lily, Laura and Helen was a pleasure from the beginning. Beautiful, amazingly fun venue that's very budget-friendly for what it offers

OSC was absolutely fantastic! All night our guests kept telling us how much they loved the venue and how cool everything looked. Tons of people were getting up all night to take photos with the dinosaurs.

Cost of the entire Level 4 for our ceremony and reception was very cost efficient and also one of the better options around for those who don't want to do a church and don't like hotel ballrooms.

The OSC Staff were all incredibly professional and friendly. Helen was quick to respond to emails and was very patient with us with all our questions about the booking and planning process. Laura and Hannah were our day-of coordinators and they were on top of everything, keeping us in the loop of what's happening and were quick to help deal with minor glitches like wrangling family members for photos, tracking down the guestbook, unlocking the terrace doors for photos etc.

They all did such a wonderful job communicating with our vendors as well and the entire night went smoothly from start to finish. We cannot recommend them enough as a wedding venue!!!

Down to a Science

We cannot sing praises of the events team enough! We worked with Helen for most of the planning, Mikaela for about the month leading up to the date, and then Kayla and Sarah joined Mikaela as our On site contacts. They were all wonderfully personable, organized, and timely in their responses.
Throughout the process, response times and accuracy was phenomenal. I had never seen the venue prior to booking, but helen made the process easily navigable and fun. Her and Mikaela provided plenty of diagrams and pictures of the space.
I cannot rave enough about how great everyone was! I wish we could get married every year just to go back.
Our guests were thrilled with all of the experiments and dinos to explore.

The perfect venue! The staff is great, flexible, and responsive, their food vendors they use are awesome. My big day was awesome and my guest were amazed at the venue.

Best wedding venue!

Incredible venue. We are two geeks with geeky friends and this place definitely appealed to everyone. Also many friends brought their kids and the museum was an endless source of entertainment. Helen and Mikaela were super efficient and responsive coordinators - clearly seasoned professionals. We looked at 30+ venues in the Central Florida area and nowhere offered the same quality and unique experience that Orlando Science Center provided.

Beyond Perfect! Guests were blown away!

The Science Center was the most incredible venue. I am still just giddy over the perfect atmosphere. Our guests were shocked by the gorgeous views and stimulating exhibits. We started with a picture perfect ceremony on the water at Lake Formosa just across the street from the Science Center. Then guests walked to the Science center for cocktail hour in Dino Digs where everyone was blown away by the massive dinosaur sculptures and elegant cocktail set up. Then guests were wowed a 3rd time for our reception held outside on the SunTrust Terrace. The gorgeous string lights and breathtaking view of the City skyline at night was the icing on the cake for our guests. We got so many compliments about our unique and trendy venue. I couldn’t be more happy with how everything turned out. Mikaela was our day coordinator provided by the venue at no additional cost and she was an absolute JOY to work with. She made it so easy. Helen, the director, was wonderful as well. I had zero stress throughout the planning experience thanks to this amazing team. Truly can’t say enough. My wedding was perfect!

Absolutely fantastic team and venue

There aren't enough words to express how absolutely perfect our reception went at the Orlando Science Center. Our guests were so impressed with the uniqueness of the venue and how fun it was. Guests were able to play with the exhibits during cocktail hour and had a blast. Even at 50-degree weather guests huddled outside the terrace and took photos of the amazing view. Dino Digs was such a fun place to have our dinner. And the T-REX! There are also many places to take photos at, you will have a great variety of shots: from the terrace with the Orlando view, to the giant Oak tree outside to the dinosaurs inside the exhibits and many more. We had about 135 guests and with a lot of room to spare.
Helen and Mikaela were so great throughout the whole planning, they responded all emails within the day and are incredibly easy to communicate with. The whole team was great and everything ran so smoothly. If you love dinosaurs, are young at heart or if you are looking for a unique venue consider this one!

The Room Was Amazing!

This was the first venue we looked at and I knew right away it was the one! We went to several others and none of them even compared to this! The price is very reasonable for the venue and the location is awesome! Don't have to worry about parking either! We had the ceremony outside and ended up having to move the reception inside the Dino Digs room since it was very windy that night. Mikaela and Helen were awesome to work with and very accommodating of this. They even lit up the dinosaurs for us! Everyone loved how unique this venue was!

A bargain price for a perfect wedding!

It took us a few months to decide that the science center was the right venue based on several factors important to us. We were very budget conscious and the science center was the perfect choice because because it came with a day of coordinator who was incredibly helpful, parking was included, seating and tables for 100 people was included, and it was an amazing venue! The staff was incredibly helpful with making sure all of our vendors were on the same page and the coordination of the wedding was perfect. Our cake vendor had an accident the day of the wedding and our coordinator jumped right in with helping to cut the cake. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the science center and how perfect they made our wedding day.

Wedding of my dreams

The Orlando Science Center hosted the wedding of my dreams at a price we could afford. Initially, we'd planned for a ceremony down at the lakefront with the reception on the terrace, but a classic Florida storm forced our plans inside. The Our Planet provided an intimate ceremony space, while the Dino Digs gave us a fun vibe for the reception. I would do it all over again exactly the same way in a heartbeat.

Our wedding was 09/04/18 at OSC. Helen and Laura were the dream team when it came to planning and execution of our event, everything from answering questions throughout the planning process to ensuring we both got down the aisle and to our reception. We truly cannot speak highly enough about our wedding, it was the best day ever and we wish we could do it all over again every day!

OSC provided us a list of preferred vendors and that was really helpful during the planning process, they also went off list to suggest the DJ we would eventually book!

I just had my wedding at the Orlando Science Center a couple weeks ago. It was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing! Everyone I worked with at the science center was very helpful and upbeat. They do a great job at keeping you organized and are always very quick to respond to any questions. Having the day of event coordinator was awesome as I didn’t have to stress about a single thing on the day of the wedding (even when my groom forgot his tie). They meet with you before the wedding to make sure they understand your vision and make it come to life. I’ve had so many people tell me what a great time they had and what a unique venue it was!

I used preferred vendors from their list (4Rivers catering, Live Happy photography, and DJ Live Productions) and they all worked beautifully together. Since all of these vendors have worked together before they are familiar with what is allowed at the science center or what works best. So if you’re considering Orlando Science Center as your venue, stop hesitating...do it!

Our wedding at the Orlando Science Center was perfect. During the planning phase, the staff was super responsive and provided recommendations on a whole host of things ranging from vendors and floor plans to where where we should place cornhole during the cocktail hour. The wedding itself had the perfect mix of beauty and fun. Our first look photos were at the lake across the street, and this provided an absolutely stunning backdrop for photos. The ceremony and cocktail hour was on a beautiful white terrace overlooking trees and downtown Orlando. Then the party was with dinosaur fossils providing an elegant yet fun environment that our guests raved about. And the day-of coordinator provided with the venue was so helpful in organizing vendors and getting everyone down the aisle. As you can see, I'd highly recommend this venue for future brides!

The team at OSC is outstanding! Our wedding was perfect and we still hear about how much fun our guests had. The staff was helpful, and the venue was absolutely beautiful! My (now) husband and I had our wedding at the Orlando Science Center in March of 2018, and it was absolutely amazing! We worked with Megan and Helen initially, then had Laura as our day of coordinator. They were all incredibly responsive and helpful during the planning process. Laura was AMAZING day of and ensured everything went smoothly. The ceremony and reception were breathtaking, and the coordinators set everything up beyond our expectations! My daughter's wedding was held at OSC on October 1st. The whole experience was just amazing. The staff was fantastic to work with and really did everything to make her day special. There are not enough words of praise for the entire staff at OSC! From our initial consultation through the completion of our wedding, they worked tirelessly to make sure every detail of our day was perfect without ever coming across as pushy or salesy. The venue was an absolute BLAST and was enjoyed by both kids and adults. I never thought I would want the night to last longer than it did, but because of how well organized and executed the entire wedding was, I wanted it to last forever! That is thanks to the amazing OSC team! Do yourself a favor and book this venue, you will not be disappointed!

AMAZING!! When another vendor messed up, the science center was on it to make us happy. They were fabulous from start to finish. A little hard to get a hold of through the planning process because of issues with their phones, but if you get in touch with Megan, you'll be taken care of--I love her!! Couldn't have been happier with them.

I was first surprised by how affordable the venue was and how inclusive their packages were. The staff was attentive, able to answer all of my questions and kept excellent correspondence up to and during the big day. We had the ceremony in our planet and the earth was the most amazing backdrop for our first kiss, atrium for the cocktails and the dino digs was the best setting for dinner and dancing. We had the most amazing wedding thanks to everyone at the science center. Getting married mid April, we ended up using the rain backup of the Our Planet room and the Dino Digs room. I am very happy we planned for the weather, everything went flawlessly.

I was really debating hiring a wedding planner for day of coordination, but it was completely unnecessary and I'm glad I saved the expense. They were quick to communicate, very accommodating, and dealt with my vendors directly. They made it easy, and come our wedding day, we got to sit back and enjoy!

What a great value for price. The staff was quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They helped me narrow down my color choices and their help setting up the venue made my wedding perfect. (And they had dinosaurs!) I cannot say enough how helpful the staff is. For the price you get covered parking, with a covered walkway, with an elevator. On site coordinator and tables and chairs. Plus, we had small children at the reception and were able to use some child booster seats! Sunday is slightly cheaper, which is what we ended up with, and the only downside is you have to have your reception/ ceremony after the museum closes, but other than that Megan and her team made my day absolutely perfect!

I highly recommend having your wedding at the Orlando Science Center! Cocktail hour in Dino digs was a hit but the perfect view and weather out on the terrace was way more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. The entire staff was so wonderful to work with! Just like every bride I was nervous at first but the more I realized how quick they all were with responding to all of my questions, I knew we were in good hands. The Orlando Science Center was our dream venue, and it turned out to be very much a dream come true for our wedding. We had our ceremony in Our Planet, Our Universe and our reception in Dino Digs, using the rotunda for our cocktail hour. These spaces were incredible and unique without being cheesy, and provided a memorable atmosphere that left our guests literally in awe. From a logistical side, having all covered parking garage parking and a beautiful glass walkway into the building was really nice for dealing with the Florida weather.

The staff at OSC are amazing. Kayla, Danielle and Helen were lightning fast with answering all of my questions and had great insight for the planning process. They provided me a list of recommended vendors that ended up being an incredible help -- every vendor I picked from the list was wonderful. Beyond that, they work effortlessly with the vendors to handle the logistics and communicate so well together. Even our rehearsal was fun, and the tone was always upbeat and positive.

The actual wedding day was incredible. They transformed the space quickly and efficiently from museum to wedding venue. The place dresses up extremely well! Kayla and her staff handled the logistics like the pros they are. During our cocktail hour, guests were able to go in and enjoy some of the hands-on exhibits, and it turned a time period usually reserved for boredom into something my guests genuinely enjoyed.

From our wedding sign in the the t-rex's mouth to the special touches we requested on each table, the venue felt entirely custom to us, but the staff ran the event with the experience of having kicked butt at a lot of previous weddings as well. I cannot recommend OSC enough for someone looking for a slightly offbeat but totally stunning venue.

First, I have to say that the Orlando Science Center staff is absolutely AMAZING! From the moment I reached out to get information until the day of the wedding, they have been quick to respond, routinely checked in to see how the planning was going and offered advice and tips along the way. The venue speaks for itself. We held our cocktail hour in the Our Planet room the out guests LOVED playing around with the exhibits! We held the reception out on the SunTrust Terrace and with the bulb lights strung above and a beautiful view of downtown Orlando, it was as if we were all transported to an incredible private and modern oasis. I could not recommend OSC enough to any bride searching for a venue! The events team made our day absolutely perfect!!

I have always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, and surprisingly The Science Center provides gorgeous options for an outdoor wedding. Due to a random Florida rain shower our reception had to be moved from the Terrace (which has a gorgeous view of Downtown Orlando) to The Dino Digs room. Our coordinator (provided by The Science Center, this person helps you throughout your entire planning process and coordinates all your vendors for you!) knew how important the ceremony was to me & how much I wanted it under The Mayor Tree. She absolutely made sure that I got the ceremony of my dreams, even though rain made it obnoxious to set up. Our ceremony was flawless & our guests stayed dry since it stopped raining just in time!
Although we got the ceremony of our dreams, the rain changed our reception plans and moved it indoors. I was definitely not excited to be dancing with dinosaurs, but with the AMAZING vendors & Science Center staff, they made our reception the most incredible looking space I have ever seen. Everything was beautiful & I honestly ended up falling in love with the dinosaurs, my guests are saying it was the most beautiful/unique wedding they have ever seen. Dino's & Shabby Chic apparently work well together!
I HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding with The Science Center. The staff truly cares about their couples & their number one goal is to ensure the couple is happy. I didn't feel an ounce of stress throughout the evening because I knew my wedding was in wonderful hands!

We had our ceremony in the Our Planet room followed by our reception in the Dino Digs room. I have nothing but positive things to say about this venue. They were incredibly responsive with every question we had, were flexible with our requests and just generally fun to work with. I never got the feeling that they were trying to nickel and dime us and seemed to be genuinely excited about helping us make our day perfect. It was such a relief to have them coordinating with all of our other vendors and they set up everything perfectly the day of. They were wonderful making sure all of the events of the evening happened on time. If I had it to do all over again I would pick the Orlando Science Center every time.

I could not have been happier with my choice for my ceremony and reception venue. From the very beginning Danielle was quick to respond and answered all of my questions. The staff at OSC coordinated with all of my vendors and made sure everything was ready to go on the day of my wedding. Kayla was our day of coordinator and she was amazing! She was very organized and had control over everything that was happening. I couldn't have asked for a better person to make sure my wedding happened without any problems. I choose the Orlando Science Center as my wedding venue because it could accommodate an outdoor wedding, which I've always wanted, but also provide something different. I had the reception at the Dino Digs. The venue was everything promised and more. The staff was extremely helpful too. If I had questions, they were always quick to answer. They were good about working around my schedule for when I could visit or talk, as I was coordinating everything from a different city. As the days got closer, they contacted all my vendors and made sure everything was timed perfectly. Even on the day of the ceremony the staff exchanged numbers and contacts with the photographers and DJ to make sure timing was perfect for everything.

The Science Center was great to work with, a reasonable price, and something outside of the usual wedding venues. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing to have a unique party in Orlando.

I just had my wedding ceremony and reception at the orlando science center on August 10,
2014, and it was absolutely perfect!!!! Danielle and her events team are incredible, she answered all my questions right away, and even contacted all of my vendors to coordinate the day of schedule. They has the ceremony and reception space set up exactly as I requested. We had our ceremony out on the terrace at 6pm, which has a beautiful view of downtown orlando. They have an indoor option as well, but we got lucky with the weather! We had the entire 4th floor for the cocktail hour, and had the Dino digs room for the reception. The dinosaurs all lit up look amazing, and there is plenty of space for tables and dancing. All of the attractions like the hurricane simulator and the Dino noises are left on if requested, and my guests loved them! The only negative is that I wish we could have stayed longer!!! The latest you can have the space is 11pm. But I would highly recommend this space if you want a unique and fun wedding experience!!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Orlando Science Center was for our wedding! My husband and I are both a bit quirky so having the ceremony in Our Planet (the whole world was at our wedding!) and reception in Dino Digs was the absolute most perfect thing we could ever have done. The setting was amazing, and so was the team at the OSC. Danielle was always extremely prompt in replying to my emails and accommodating. I felt like my wedding was important to everyone I spoke with and appreciated that greatly! All of my Guests have been talking about how amazing our wedding was, and that was due in large part to having the most fantastic venue I could imagine. If you want a distinctive wedding, BOOK THIS VENUE. You won’t regret it!

I loved having my wedding at OSC. We did our ceremony at the lake and reception in Dino Digs. I love dinosaurs and it was so neat to celebrate with them. Our guests kept complimenting on our unique venue. The girls at OSC were great whenever I emailed with any questions and responded promptly. Our wedding went super smoothly thanks to Danielle and Abigail.

We had our wedding reception at the Orlando Science Center on May 30,2014. The venue and wedding coordination team were absolutely amazing. The venue had the uniqueness we were looking for and provided us with plenty of tables and chairs in the cost. Also, provided was the help of the wedding coordinators. This team stayed in touch with us and were accommodating and helpful. The venue team will set up your reception décor. We had a lot of décor and very specific ideas of how we wanted the room to look. I can say the Science Center team went beyond my hopes and made the room look absolutely amazing. During the reception the team was very attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend this amazing venue!!!

The Orlando Science Center is an ideal place to hold a wedding reception. The staff there are very professional and courteous. The entire venue looked amazing. It is very quaint inside and we absolutely loved that they can put a sign in the dinosaur mouth to announce us. We would definitely recommend this vendor to folks.

The events team at the Orlando Science Center are FABULOUS!! The moment we walked in to look at the venue, we knew it was the exact spot for our big day. And boy, did they deliver!! Our wedding turned out even more amazing and beautiful then we had ever imagined, and it was in big part to the lovely ladies down at the Science Center. A big Thank You to Helen, Danielle and Kayla- who were all so great to work with and always made time to answer and follow up with any questions or requests we had. Everyone should look into using this venue, you will not regret it!

This place was FANTASTIC! They gave us a $1000 discount for booking in 2014 to have wedding in 2014 so heads up on that! We got the whole 4th floor for our money, and my god it was totally worth every penny. Not many people can say they went to a wedding reception with dinosaurs! Not only is the location incredible and fun, but the staff are just beyond amazing. They are kind and understanding people who respond almost instantly to your emails and remain in constant contact with you throughout your planning. They also provide tables and chairs and you can have a sign made for you to put in the TRex's mouth! Trust me, if you don't want a traditional wedding and you & your fiance love dinosaurs and planets and are a bit nerdy, this is the best place for you!

These guys should write the book on how to be a venue. Everyone that we worked with was friendly, flexible, knowledgable and professional. The space couldn't have been better from a functionality standpoint - so many options. Helen and her team were the perfect hosts for our event!

This venue was very flexible and was to work with. I had my ceremony and reception on the 4th floor terrace. It was absolutely beautiful. Everyone at the Science center was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend them.

The event staff at the Orlando Science Center was absolutely wonderful to work with! As soon as we set a date, they assigned us with our wedding coordinator...Caroline! Caroline was so helpful from beginning to end. We didn't have to worry about a single thing day of except show up and have the time of our lives!! Our guests LOVED the venue! We had our ceremony across the street at the Mennello Museum, cocktail hour in Dino Digs, and reception on the rooftop terrace. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the event team! The entire day was perfection and I would HIGHLY recommend the Orlando Science Center for any occasion!!

The Orlando Science Center was a wonderful location. I didn't have to worry about anything! As soon as I contacted them ten months before my wedding that assigned a coordinator to me, and she led me through the first steps and then as the months got closer they contacted me again to verify information. As it got really close, I must have emailed them a few times a day and each time I received an email back that answered my questions. The week of the wedding they called to check on me and make sure there wasn't anything I needed from them. The day of my wedding everything was perfect and the coordinators were there the whole night to ensure that it was. I highly recommend this place, the ceremony site was gorgeous and the reception on the terrace was breathtaking.

I am so in love with The Orlando Science Center as a wedding venue!!! My wedding was 10/18/13 and had my ceremony lakeside, cocktail hour in the plant room and reception on the 4th floor terrace. It literally was a dream come true! The most unique gorgeous wedding experience. The events team were ALL so helpful friendly and flexible. I don't know what I would have done without them! I am 100% satisfied with how everything came out at the Science Center and wish I can relive my special day!!!

The Orlando Science Center was a fantastic venue for our ceremony and reception. We did everything on the terrace. The OSC team was great to work with. They work with each other as well so I thought there was excellent communication across the board. I chose OSC partly because of their flexibility with alcohol. It was a big savings. Coordinating our wedding was easy with their on site team. I dropped off everything the day of our rehearsal and they put it together perfectly on the day of the wedding. All I had to do on the day of was show up. The coordinator worked with our DJ to keep us on schedule and informed of what came next. Our guests really enjoyed the venue and it truly was memorable for everyone.

My experience with the Orlando Science Center was amazing. From the planning phase to the execution, the staff was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Danielle was our point of contact and she was always prompt and professional answering all of our questions and helping to execute our day flawlessly. We set our ceremony for Lakefront, but the rain drove us inside and our ceremony went extremely well despite the venue change last minute. She was there to make sure all of the details were taken care of so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I would highly recommend this venue as many of my guests say that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended.

Our experience at the Orlando Science Center as a venue for our wedding reception was amazing! The level of service provided by the staff was great and personalized! Our day of wedding planner, provided by the OSC, was Gia Allmond, and I just want to thank her for taking care of the fine details, leaving me to just worry about myself. Gia Allmond went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Thank you Gia Allmond and a BIG thank you to the Orlando Science Center, for a PERFECTLY AMAZING wedding reception filled with wonderful memories!

We had the best wedding ever at the Orlando Science Center. Danielle and Caroline were so incredible throughout the entire experience. We had our food catered by Puff n Stuff, and they work with the Science Center flawlessly. Everyone who attended out wedding raved about it for weeks. People even said it was the best they'd ever attended. We were scheduled to have our ceremony at the lakefront, but due to the weather, we ended up having it in the lobby. It still turned out beautifully! We had our reception in the Dino Digs, which was just so incredible. It's such a unique, affordable venue. I can't recommend them enough.

My husband and I are so pleased with the quality of service we received from the Science Center!! Our reception was in the Dino Digs area. We got so many compliments on how unique and wonderful the event was.

The whole events team at OSC is awesome. They guide you step by step through the whole planning process. Everyone is so responsive to e-mails and calls. They also had great vendor recommendations. They also contacted our chosen vendors directly so we didn't have to worry about coordinating everybody on the big day. I felt like they took care of everything!

I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a unique and memorable event!!

Helen and Danielle are great! The team at OSC handles everything for you! The communicate with your vendors, have detailed "rain back up plans" and keep the event running smoothly. Our ceremony was under the tree across the street and the reception on the Suntrust terrace. We could not have asked for a better location to celebrate.
The weather cooperated....we were beyond thrilled with the outcome

The Science Center is an amazing place to have a wedding. The outside terrace and Dino Digs provide a unique atmosphere your guest will never forget it. The wedding coordinators are on top of every detail and help to organize all your vendors. I know that without their help I would have missed some important elements.

Danielle and the folks at the OSC were very easy to work with, and excited about our wedding. We wish we had taken more advantage of their help, honestly. The room and terrace were excellent locations and helped provide a wonderful setting for our wedding. For non-traditional or geeky weddings, we would highly recommend the OSC. We wish we had opted for a bit more time for the reception though.

The event staff at the Orlando Science Center were such a pleasure to work with. They took away all my planning stress and put on one truly amazing night! Our wedding was perfect and everything went off without a hitch. They took care of all the decorating and cleanup (who wants to clean after their wedding?......not this chick), and coordinated everything with all of our vendors. It was awesome. All I really had to do was send them a list of our vendors contact info and it was all taken care of! Another awesome aspect about the Science Center was the location. Our cermony was on the 4th floor terrace that overlooked downtown, and our reception was in the Dino Digs room. Our wedding was the talk of the town, everyone had a blast and couldn't get over the fact that they partied it up with Dinos! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. It was the best night of our lives and the wedding of our dreams!

The event team was outstanding! Helen and her team went above and beyond to answer every question, from the big important items and tiny details, and to ensure that we were happy with everything. They were gracious and flexible in allowing us to visit the event site multiple times, and accommodating our set-up needs for the day of our wedding. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with the OSC 100 times over :) Thank you for everything you did to make our wedding planning and big day perfect!

I absolutely loved the science center. They were extremely accomodating. I asked a million questions and they responded quickly and never seem to be annoyed by me. The museum is an awesome place to hold any event. All of my guests loved the dinosaurs. Even though my roof top wedding was rained out, the lobby was beautiful with the rain, thunder, and lightning. Thanks for all your help :)

They bent over backwards to help us make our wedding a truly special event. It has been over a year and people are still talking about out how it was the most unique and fun wedding they had ever been to... thanks to the wonderful people at the Orlando Science Center!

We had a great time! Everyone loved playing with the toys in the Planet Room and the Dinosaur room was so much fun! Junction 88 was the DJ and he was great and so helpful! The coordinators from OSC (Tori and Phoebe) went over and above to help solve problems with the caterer. The only drawbacks were we didn't call the inclement weather soon enough to flip it without backing up our photographers and designers in a major way. Also the caterer was not responsive to issues and the food didn't look that great. I would not choose Java Lava Catering again. Owner was not helpful and the salad looked gross! We had Cold Stone icecream instead of cake and it was a hit! Great venue! If you are having an outdoor wedding....don't!!

I had my wedding ceremony downstairs lakefront at the museum. So it was a typical traditional ceramony and then surprised all my guest with a reception in the Dinosaur room inside the science center. My guest and I loved it. It was such a unique and beutiful setting and it made for some great pictures.

Never would have thought to get married at the science center but once we booked it everything came together. It was so amazing from every thing about it. The staff was amazing. Helen and danielle help every step of the way. If your looking for a funky and different awsome location for your wedding this is it!!!!!

Excellent choice for unorthodox couples

We had a wonderful experience with the Orlando Science Center and we could not have picked a better venue! At a mid-range price point, they include a day-of coordinator, event space, tables, chairs, and excellent communication. All emails and calls sent to the events department were handled swiftly and professionally. We were able to visit the location during normal business hours to see the exhibits (in order to plan our layout and see the space in person) and our tickets were comped. Our coordinator handled almost all communication with our other vendors in the weeks before the wedding to handle the logistics on their end (ex: where the DJ could find outlets, how the caterer should arrive, etc.), which was a HUGE sigh of relief for us. We had a few hiccups on the day of (the wrong sign was put up for a different couple), but once we called attention to them, they were handled quickly and without issue. Ultimately, the venue was beautiful, fun for guests, and makes the whole process easier!

Just had my wedding there last weekend (2/10/18) and it was the perfect venue! I worked with Megan and Helen in the beginning then had Andrea as my day-of coordinator. Though a centerpiece or two was out of place, and the ceremony had everything set up very close together, everything else seemed perfect. Nice and efficient staff. My only word of advice would be to have a someone close to the wedding double check the ceremony and reception space for details. My wedding was about 160 and was one of the biggest they had accommodated. Over all, just a great experience and made my wedding so unique!

The Orlando Science Center is a fantastic venue. They offer planning assistance leading up to the event, day of coordination and a weather back-up. You can't beat that! Plus, the variety of spaces is unique. We planned our event on the terrace but were moved into Dino Digs due to possible rain. The room literally transformed from a kids exploratory to an upscale atmosphere for our wedding. It made our decor look amazing and even gave our guests something special to take photos in front of – a giant T-Rex. Our guests were extremely impressed.
