I was on the fence about hiring a videographer for my wedding but I'm so glad I did! Sound Originals was professional from start to finish. Our videographer, Matt, did an excellent job getting drone video, capturing our first look and all the other special moments throughout the day. We love our highlight video! -

We hired Sound Originals for our engagement shoot and our wedding day in May 2022 and they were absolutely amazing! We had a limited amount of time to plan the wedding and got incredibly lucky that they happened to be available for us. Their response time, attention to detail and organization made it really easy for us through the whole planning process. Loc was our photographer for our engagement photoshoot and he made sure that we were comfortable and managed to get some really beautiful golden hour and sunset photos for us! On our wedding day, we had an incredible photography/videography team which included Loc, Jason and Tommy. We had so much fun working with the whole team and they were so incredibly kind and genuine. Everyone did such a wonderful job at capturing beautiful moments throughout our wedding and we didn't have to wait long to see the amazing results! We are so grateful and happy to have all the photographs and video for family and friends to enjoy forever. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend Sound Originals! -

I absolutely loved working with Sound Originals! I didn't really know what to expect when initially booking, but everyone was so helpful along the way from start to finish. My new husband and I are not ones who really enjoy posing for photos, but our photographer, Jess, made us feel so comfortable and directed us so well that led to the end results being amazing. Jess really captured the spirit and vibes of the day which is exactly what I wanted. There's a perfect mix of posed photos and candids that are just so lovely. I will cherish these photos for the rest of my life. I could not recommend Sound Originals more! -

Everybody was so professional and made our photo visions come to life! We had a weather issue the day of the wedding and our photography team was able to pivot and make sure the photos came out exactly how we wanted! -

I cannot say enough good things about Sound Originals! They were so professional, prompt, and flexible while still being incredibly fun and putting us at ease. We got our photos so quickly and were blown away by how gorgeous they are. They truly captured the vibe/spirit of our wedding without being intrusive. It was more than we could have asked for. There are so many beautiful candids and detail shots we will treasure forever. I personally dont love taking photos but the ones of my husband and I are so special and perfect, and we had a blast taking them. Truly more like art than wedding photos, I cannot recommend this team enough!! -

Fantastic Photography Company!
Our experience with Sound Originals was fantastic! I found them on The Knot and they were super affordable—such a blessing for young couples like my husband and I. They were also incredibly professional, responsive, and attentive and really took care of us through their online portal—a one-stop shop for you to coordinate all the details regarding your photography with the team.
Also, my photographer Rory did an amazing job capturing all the special moments of our day and made everything look so beautiful! He was incredibly friendly and easygoing, but still professional and experienced. We felt very safe in his hands.
Overall, Sound Originals and their photographers provide a great service at a really reasonable price. They are a team of experienced and award-winning photographers and will truly capture your day in a unique and high-quality way. Would 10/10 recommend! ☺️ -

Professional! Worth it!

Our wedding took place in Novato, CA on June 2023. We booked the 8 hour videography coverage with 2 videographers. Leading up to the wedding, communication with the team was very simple and smooth. For instance, if I had any questions or needed clarification, I felt comfortable enough to message Sarah via the client portal.
Also, I highly recommend the digital planning session! Sarah walked me through the timeline and it really eased my wedding-planning anxiety. Additionally, Sound Originals has timeline samples and questionnaires to help keep the videographers and myself organized.
On the day of the wedding, our original, main videographer was in a minor car accident and was no longer able to make it to the wedding. Sound Originals was able to find another spectacular videographer who came on time and was ready to roll. The videographers captured our natural and raw emotions accurately in a beautiful way. We also enjoyed the main videographer’s creativity as he shared some fun ideas on how the bridal party should pose.
Not only did our videographers do a great job with capturing our wedding; we were also fortunate to have videographers with professional integrity. Since our venue was on a golf course, we unfortunately encountered a very rude golfer. Our main videographer politely tried to explain to the golfer that it would just take 2 minutes to record some footage of our first-look. The golfer began to make condescending comments towards our videographer, but our videographer maintained his professionalism and tried to advocate for us, the “newlyweds.” We stepped away in order to deescalate this situation. Our videographer apologized even though it wasn’t his fault. I applaud our videographer’s patience and professionalism!
It did take 5.5 months to receive our videos, but we did receive a 7-minute highlight video and a 58-minute fully edited documentary. The editing team also did a wonderful job with the music choice and editing style. So glad we trusted them with the music choice!
We highly recommend Sound Originals to help document your special day so you can relive it all over again! And if it’s within your budget, get the 2 videographers package! It’s definitely worth it!

The guys from Sound Originals were excellent! They were very professional and followed our timeline. They came up with some beautiful shots and poses. The drone is an excellent bonus! The photos turned out beautiful, and we got them sooner than expected. -

My husband and I hired Sound Originals for our wedding and had a great experience! The photographer showed up on time and enthusiastic! Jared was great with giving us directions and thinking of ideas of posed photos. We received the final photos sooner than we were expecting and they were amazing! The "rustic" editing choice was perfect and fit really well with the venue. Sound Originals did a phenomenal job all around and was very professional with a very professional client portal. -

We had two photographers for our wedding day this September 2023. Gabriella was our lead photographer.
First, they were so much to work with! They were so efficient with our group photo needs and made everyone feel so comfortable. You can tell by how great the photos turned out!
Gabriella went above and beyond. She helped with more than just pictures during the day; bustling the dress, helping with shoes, etc.
They captured the day beautifully. We love every single picture. We can't thank them enough for how amazing of a job they did. 10000000% recommend working with Sound Originals and especially Gabriella. -

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it was working with Sound Originals. We had them do our engagement photos and our wedding day. The photos all turned out so amazing, and there were so many edited ones to choose from. Our photographer, Leah, was so professional and easy going and her confidence in her abilities gave me peace of mind to enjoy my big day and not have to worry about the photos, which turned out amazing. Their turn-around is also SO fast for how many photos I got. Also communication throughout the planning process and on the day of was huge. I never had to worry about anything, and if I had any questions, of which there were many, I always had a reply in a very timely manner. Thank you for capturing my day. I would 100^ recommend to anyone seeing a photographer. -

Josie was amazing and had such a great vision that ended with our forever video! We were so impressed with the professionalism of getting the footage needed to complete the vision we wanted while also being so under the radar all day. This helped us remain calm throughout the big day and we truly appreciated it! They worked so well with our photographer and we couldn’t recommend Sound Originals enough! -

My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Sound Originals for our wedding photos/video. We purchased a package that included 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and access to all the digital photos after the event, which was a great deal compared to other photography services that we were comparing. We were given the opportunity to complete online surveys and to speak with our lead photographer in advance of the wedding, which was all very helpful in visualizing the day. She took the time to ask us questions to make sure she understood exactly what we were looking for from the photography team. On the day of the wedding, things were a bit chaotic with all of the logistics and moving parts (as things tend to be), but the photography team were experts at navigating the scene. They fit right into the present moment — while we were getting ready, during the ceremony at the church, and later at the reception — doing their job well without in any way hampering the moments. The team members were all very polite, easy to work with, and directive. I was impressed with the quality and turnaround time of the photos (just about three weeks!), and I’m excited to see the videos soon. If you’re not sure where to start with wedding photography (as I wasn’t!), I would definitely recommend Sound Originals due to their reasonable pricing and very professional service. -

Communication with Sound Originals leading up to the wedding was very clear and strait forward, Anna and Slava did an amazing job photographing, recording, and getting drone footage of our wedding. They were both very knowledgeable and, despite not having seen the space before, they quickly identified some of the best spaces in the garden for photos. The photos turned out stunning and the video brought us both to tears reliving such a wonderful day. We couldn’t have asked for a better team for the job!
