Words cannot describe how incredible or perfect our wedding was - especially our ceremony. It was truly tailored to us as a couple and encompassed our entire relationship. I am so grateful to Dani for taking the time to speak with us in the months leading up to the wedding and really learning about us as a couple. She incorporated our personal family traditions, and our quirks, into the most perfect ceremony. We had people come up to us after who believed Dani was our best friend or had known us for years!! That's how good she is. Dani never felt like a stranger, she always felt like family. We could not be happier with how our ceremony went. Thank you again!!! -

Wonderful Wedding in Central Park
Dani from Once Upon A Vow was absolutely fantastic to work with on our wedding ceremony. We were having an elopement wedding from the UK to New York, Central Park so Dani’s communication was very important and she was excellent with sending us helpful and proactive emails in advance and throughout the process. We also had a helpful and fun video call to talk through our love story and relationship. Dani was really lovely, friendly, kind, inclusive, upbeat and fun! We felt so comfortable talking to her and knew she was going to be just perfect for officiating our special day. Our ceremony was at the peak of a heat wave in the middle of Central Park and Dani was so professional and read such a thoughtful, personal monologue about what is important to us and special about each other. It was beautiful! We had a lot of options and choices for the ceremony which made it feel really personal to us. We can’t thank Dani enough for such a wonderful start to our married life!

My fiancé and I reached out to Dani of Once Upon a Vow to officiate our elopement because we were particularly interested in her “Intimate Love” package. We loved the thought of working together with our officiant to create a personalized wedding ceremony, but didn’t expect how profoundly Dani’s thoughtful questionnaires and discussions would positively impact our wedding experience as a whole. We had the unique bonding experience of communicating our love story and putting our feelings into words together with Dani’s guidance, which not only made the whole experience of planning a wedding together that much more sentimental, but it resulted in such a special ceremony that was warm, funny, and heartfelt (and wonderfully delivered by Dani). We could not have asked for a more perfect experience! Once Upon a Vow *far* exceeded our expectations. -

We worked with Dani last year and cannot recommend Once Upon a Vow enough!!! We still hear from our friends and family that Dani was the best officiant they've ever seen at a wedding, and people were constantly coming up to us during the reception asking where we found her. Through thoughtful questionnaires and meetings, Dani was able to truly understand who we are, what we value, and how we see ourselves and our relationship - it felt like a friend was officiating. She is so warm and kind, and you can tell she truly loves love and loves her clients. We cannot recommend Dani highly enough - she married me and my partner in a hurricane in Central Park and throughout it all was absolutely brilliant. She was such a lovely person, who prior to the wedding, took the time to find out our stiry and this made our wedding very personal and super special. She also took the time out to put together a very beautiful, Taylor Swift inspired reading for my daughter to read. I honestly cannot recommend Dani enough - just awesome! -

Perfect Ceremony!
We cannot stress enough how amazing Dani is! The compliment we’ve heard the most since our wedding is how much our family and friends loved the ceremony and our officiant in particular.
From the beginning, Dani invested a lot of time getting to know us and hearing our story through three very fun sessions. This resulted in a very personalized ceremony, with lots of fun anecdotes included. The ceremony was so tailored to us, many of our guests thought that Dani was a close friend. She even did portions in Spanish, for our non-English speaking relatives. Dani was also a very helpful and calming presence, walking us and our wedding party through the entire process before guests arrived.
We truly could not be happier with Once Upon a Vow. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an officiant to throw away the typical template and perform a ceremony that you’ll always remember! -

No words can capture how incredible the experience of working with Daniela was. Daniela far exceeded our expectations and did so much more for us than just being our officiant. Everything that Daniela did was thoughtful, intentional, and professional. From the very beginning, Daniela went out of her way to get to know who we are as individuals, and also to understand our story. From filling out a love questionnaire, to diving deep into our story over multiple video calls, Daniela was able to tell our story better than we ourselves could have once the wedding day finally arrived. On our wedding day, Daniela put together a story and a ceremony that felt personal, loving, funny, relatable, heartfelt, and entertaining. We had so many people ask us where we found Daniela and tell us how they had never witnessed a ceremony as beautifully done as ours, all thanks to her!
One side of our family is Dominican, and Daniela was able to gracefully bring Spanish into our love story without directly repeating every line word for word. This made it accessible to Spanish Speaking only guests, and not repetitive for others. More than one person came up afterwards with tears in their eyes expressing how appreciative they were to have been able to take part in the Ceremony because it was also in Spanish.
Daniela went above and beyond more than once. Daniela coordinated our rehearsal onsite the day before the wedding. We had more than 20 people in the party, including children and parents, and she did such an amazing job at making people feel comfortable and prepared for the ceremony. We both agree that the ceremony was our favorite part of our wedding. The vibe, the emotions, the story telling... All of this came together to create the most special moment of our lives. We highly recommended Once Upon a Vow and Daniela as an officiant for anyone who is looking! You will be in great hands!

Due to some poor planning on my part, my partner and I found ourselves without an officiant less than three months to the big day. We hadn't asked the person close to us that we had planned and then ended up not wanting to burden them with the task on the big day. Our planner recommended Once Upon A Vow, and we reached out around 11 weeks out from the ceremony. We heard back immediately from Dani, and she immediately got to work. Following one questionnaire and maybe 3 hours together total, Dani put together one of the most beautiful ceremonies and knew so much about our story and our relationship. As a queer couple, we didn't have a ton of ideas for the ceremony itself, and we had so many questions / uncertainty about what we wanted the ceremony to be. Dani guided us through this seamlessly and gave us countless ideas to help shape the story and the event itself. All of our guests complimented Dani and thought she was a family or friend due to how much she "got us." I didn't know what to expect / was unsure about hiring an officiant and not using someone in our "circle," but honestly, Dani was the best choice we could have made, and I am so grateful for her and Once Upon A Vow. Truly the best person, the best officiant, and a must have at any wedding / ceremony. -

We were so lucky to find Karla, and Once upon a vow, It was meant to be!. We had to change our plans last minute due to a blizzard, and Karla was so flexible and willing to walk to us and face a snowstorm to get us married if needed. Not only that, but Karla went above and beyond and performed a beautiful ceremony, half in English and half in Spanish. She made sure (even on short notice) to learn about us and our relationship and include all of those little and meaningful details on the ceremony. She made us feel so special that we really can’t express how thankful we feel to have connected with her. We can’t recommend her highly enough!! -

Don't look anywhere else!
I don't even know where to start with reviewing Daniela at Once Upon A Vow. She was absolutely fantastic! We started our journey with her in 2019 with a scheduled elopement date of 12-12-20 in front of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree...which was postponed due to covid and rescheduled to 12-12-21. From start to finish she went above and beyond. We met with her in a coffee shop to answer some questions and so she could just get a feel for what we were looking for, the conversation flowed like we knew each other for years! She made us feel so warm and comfortable with the whole experience and I couldn't wait for her to perform our ceremony. The attention to detail was outstanding and her enthusiasm was a shining light having to plan a ceremony from Florida. As the date got closer, she sent an outline of what she was going to say and sent us instructions on getting the marriage license. It was all a very painless experience and I have to give that credit to Daniela! As the day arrived, we had a couple hurdles with location, and she actually went out early and sent us pictures of alternate spots. In the end it couldn't have been a more perfect location! She even surprised us with some additional details in the ceremony that we didn't even remember mentioning to her and it melted our hearts! Not to mention the extra personalized touches and nods to my favorite Christmas movie Elf! I would choose her over and over again!!! -

OK!!! Daniela literally blew us away with how amazing and personal she made our ceremony. We got married 11/20/21, and SOOOO many of our guests asked us "where did you find her???" or. "how did you meet her, she knows you two so well!". Welp, I didnt know her. I knew her as the wonderful officiant who married my sister and brother in law back in 2018. She is so calming and certain of herself and it makes everyone in the room feel at ease and as a family. We wanted a love story as our ceremony. We didnt want religion at all, but we do believe in how energy and the universe connects us, and she made us feel so connected and loved in this ceremony.
We did a beer mixing ceremony which was her idea and SO FUN!!
I also wanted to incorporate my mom in some way since my dad had the opportunity to walk me down the aisle and have my first dance; so she suggested we do a ring warming ceremony, which was BEAUTIFUL.
If anyone is looking for a good vibe, loving human who can tell a love story while legally marrying you and your best friend - please please PLEASE consider Daniela from Once Upon a Vow. -

Working with Daniela and Karla made our last minute elopement a fairy tale dream. We originally touched base with them two years ago when our original wedding plans were cancelled due to COVID restrictions. We could tell immediately that they are two people who love love and love to make magical things happen for others. Two years later, we finally decided to elope with just the two of us and within a month Karla was pronouncing us married.
Our elopement was just the two of us, but Karla made it feel like we had a close friend with us along. They quickly got to know us as a couple, sent the most beautiful Congratulations card, and eased our Hurricane wedding day fears. They even took the time to give us wedding license and location advice. On the day of, Karla’s flexibility was the most appreciated and their calmness rushed over us.
Maybe most importantly, Karla’s ceremony words felt like we had all been friends for a lifetime. I couldn’t believe this was the first time we were all meeting! Every word represented the kind of marriage my spouse and I want to have. We could barely get through the vows without sobbing. We are obsessed with every second we spent with Karla. They made our elopement the best day of our entire lives and feel grateful their soul has touched our lives.

I can’t say enough about our experience with Once Upon A Vow and the amazing Daniela! I had a feeling as soon as my Google search for Brooklyn wedding officiants brought up the webpage I had found our officiant, my initial phone call confirmed it! Daniela’s excitement about our Coney Island nuptials only a few short weeks from this call was amazing. Our zoom call to work out the details was absolutely lovely; it was like talking to an old friend. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail were remarkable, every interaction fantastic.
Sadly my brother passed the day before our wedding. When I called Daniela to let her know I wanted to add a remembrance of him to the day she didn’t hesitate to offer her sincerest condolences and genuine support, and the last minute change was beautiful and exactly what my family needed in that moment. She completely captured my husband and me in the ceremony so much so friends and family thought she had known us forever.
We will forever be grateful to Daniela and Once Upon A Vow for making our long awaited nuptials all we ever dreamed of and more! We would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Perfect ceremony tailored to us!
Karla officiated our elopement style wedding in central park, and we couldn't have been happier with the how the ceremony went. We found Karla through our photographer, Everly Studios, and the entire process and experience was seamless and easy - exactly what we wanted for our elopement. While attempting to reimagine what a wedding in the midst of pandemic would look like, my Fiancé and I found Once Upon a Vow. Once Upon a Vow consists of two sisters Daniela and Karla. Two wordsmiths, orators, and passionate human beings who really care about getting your love story right.
Throughout the process, they communicated with us on things that they would need from us as we all moved forward in the planning process. Their structure and execution were seamless and meticulous. To begin the process, we filed out a survey on their website providing details of what we intended that to look like, the attendance, the site of the ceremony and the vision of our wedding, Daniela and Karla helped us create a bilingual ceremony (Spanish and English) that spanned several countries.
They made us feel really comfortable. They really make you feel as if all their attention is on you while working with you. They worked to get to know us better to personalize the wedding. The ceremony was about our story. The way Karla described what we have been through as a couple was as if she had been a long-time friend introducing our stories to our families in a way that was both romanticized and realistic. Daniela took care of the Zoom aspect for us. The bundles they have make it significantly easier for couples to decide what elements you want included in your wedding day, we chose the Reel Love package which included two talented individuals Judson Rappaport (our photographer) and Elizabeth Mealey (our videographer) for a price that was more than worth it.
Our wedding took place in Dumbo Brooklyn, and they knew the ins and outs of where they wanted us to go and scouted areas out. Based on the suggestions for what we indicated, they provided an in-depth look at how the ceremony process would run. Although we arrived later due to a transportation issue to our ceremony, they still hit every single photo spot that we wanted to capture on our special day. They supported us by creating an experience that can’t be described, being able to bring all of our families together despite the distance and the Pandemic.
Last but not least is our Amazing officiant Karla, she is a love story teller that felt like a long-time friend. She went above and beyond in making our ceremony everything we asked for it to be, which was calm. She communicated with us informing us what the countdown for the wedding would look like. She made sure to get every detail right, trying to understand who we are as a couple and as individuals. Although not a photographer, she also took some photos that we could instantly send to our family and friends so that they could see some of the areas we were shooting at and some boomerangs. We mentioned that we wanted a cool shot of a bottle opening, however, due to time we had forgotten about this detail. Karla brought a bottle just for us so that we could get that shot. Our family and friends felt instantly calm and included in a virtual ceremony and we felt open and comfortable. We will forever be grateful to Karla for being a skilled professional that practices with compassion. We would gladly recommend Once Upon a Vow to anyone looking for an officiant and an easier way of managing the workload that a beautiful wedding entails.

Daniela is more than amazing, she is the most perfect officiant ever! I cannot put into words how special she made our day from the laughs, inspirational quotes, her vibe, and overall sense to spread love! When we began looking for a rad and cool officiant, to match the vibes of my husband and I, we were instantly referred to Daniela by our elopement photographer, Sam Bufalo. I reached out to Daniela via email, from her website, and she instantly got back to us within the same day! We had a video chat where Daniela was able to get a feel of what we were looking for, for our non-religious ceremony and asked a ton of questions so that she could get to know us better as well as our overall budget. Daniela also sent out a little questionnaire and walked us through the entire process of how the day would flow to merge into our vision for our special day. For our Halloween elopement, Daniela made sure to make it special and included things into our ceremony from our conversations, which took us by a delighted surprise and even made us cry tears of joy! Daniela didn’t make it feel like a “traditional wedding” with the classic vows but made it so unique and fitting towards our needs/wants and it was amazing! She even included some of our favorite movies and quotes from them, such as Willy Wonka and The Goonies. Daniela also made herself available to answer any and every question that we had as well as reassuring us of things were confused on and little reminders close to our wedding date! Daniela also provided us with little tips, since we chose to write our own vows, and it was the perfect because we had no idea where to begin. We also played rock, paper, scissors to decide who was going to read their vows first! Daniela also drove 2 HOURS to our destination to celebrate our love, and for that I am completely thankful. We then hand delivered our marriage license to the county where we got our marriage license and all Daniela had to do was prep it for us to take straight there after our little honeymoon. I am telling you; Daniela is the coolest, most heartwarming officiant and I would refer her to any and everyone I know. Daniela is family now and a huge part of our forever, as we will NEVER forget our special ceremony. Daniela TRULY is a love storyteller, and I cannot get over how amazing she is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Karla took the time to get to know us, learn what we were hoping for and what we didn’t want, and wove our love story into a beautifully personalized ceremony that felt so natural and fitting. Initially, we felt that hiring an officiant was an unnecessary expense and considered asking a friend. When all was said and done, this was one of the best decisions we made. Instead of feeling cookie cutter or awkward as many traditionally scripted weddings do (to me!), our ceremony was perfectly us. She was communicative and professional throughout the process and was cheering for us right along with our guests! My wife and I decided to elope with two weeks notice. Our photographer recommended Dani as our officiant. Dani was fantastic—not only was she very responsive by email, she was also very thoughtful. In a short amount of time, she got to know our relationship and integrated those personal details into our ceremony. During the ceremony, she had the most amazing energy—we laughed, we cried, she made it the perfect ceremony to represent our relationship. We had Dani write our vows and we are so glad we did because they were absolutely beautiful, we can’t look back at them without choking up. Dani not only made our moment special, she also took care of all of the paperwork! We didn’t have to worry about a thing and we could just enjoy our day. She sent us copies of everything and even emailed the city clerk directly. We had our marriage license in just over a week! -

After needing to find a new officiant for our wedding just over a month away, my husband and I were panicked. Our wedding planner recommended Dani from Once Upon a Vow and we never looked back. Dani spent time with us on video chats talking for hours, which felt like we were speaking with a close friend. Dani understood our vibe and what we wanted for our wedding. Every step of the way she guided us, including bits of our backgrounds and ourselves. Dani has a way of crafting wonderful moments to embed into a wedding ceremony. She helped us decided on a perfect moment-- a time capsule to open on our 5 year anniversary, and had my husband and I play rock, paper, scissors to decide who would read out vows first! We can't say enough good things about Daniela and Once Upon a Vow. We found Once Upon a Vow about a year ago when we were planning our 100+ person wedding in Brooklyn and wanted an officiant who could accommodate our preference for a non-traditional ceremony. Throughout all of the uncertainty with COVID-19, Daniela was thoughtful enough to check in regularly to see how we were doing and accommodate all of the changes to our plans. We ended up having a ceremony with 14 immediate family members in September in New Jersey. Daniela was such a warm, calming presence day-of. Most importantly, the ceremony that Daniela wrote was exactly right for us. In fact, the day after the wedding my dad told us that he thought we had written the ceremony ourselves - that's how perfect it was for us! I can't thank Daniela and Once Upon a Vow enough for giving us the exact ceremony we wanted, and just being a lovely human to work with! -

Amazing experience!
Daniela was incredible! She went above and beyond to organize a personalized, heartfelt and warm marriage ceremony for us. It was in English, Spanish and even a little French! From the start, every phone call we had was filled with so much joy and helpful guidance. She has a gift for truly making people feel comfortable and understood. Throughout the entire process, from beginning until the end, she was always checking in on us to make sure the information was clear and the flow of our ceremony was just right. Daniela is passionate, caring, deliberate, and thorough, always with the goal of genuinely reflecting a couple’s love and bond. After the ceremony, every guest commented on how moved they were. They spoke so highly of her energy, speech, and how special she made this ceremony for us. A Five-Star Love Party
We were so happy to find Once Upon A Vow, who made our tiny wedding day beyond our wildest dreams. With a global pandemic going on, ours was a very intimate ceremony with only two guests, but Karla treated it as if there were 200 and gave us the most beautiful, heartfelt, and personal ceremony we could ask for. She took the time and interest to really get to know us, which was reflected in the vows. It was as if they were written by someone who was with us since the first day we met.
We couldn't imagine saying our "I Do's" without Karla. She truly made our special day even more wonderful! -

2020, what a year! Amid all the chaos and our original wedding plans being cancelled my fiancé and I decided to make the best of things and get married on the roof of our apartment building. The only thing we needed was an officiant ... and from our very first email exchange with Dani we were totally sold.
She gave us such a sense of calm and confidence by helping navigate the newly virtual City Clerks office and taking care of that entire process. She also pumped us up and gave us that excitement back about our big day (after cancelling the big wedding we were a little bit bummed, I won’t lie!).
Every step of the way she kept us updated and answered questions via email, sent the sweetest card, and of course on the actual day of our ceremony gave us such a personal and amazing experience we’ll never forget. The day wasn’t what we had originally planned, but actually, it ended up being totally perfect and we couldn’t have done it (quite literally) without Dani :) Thank you a million times over! -

My husband and I had a large wedding planned for August, at which a good friend was going to officiate. Needless to say, due to COVID we weren’t able to make that happen. After postponing our large reception to 2021, we kept putting off booking an officiant for our “microwedding” with our immediate family because we couldn’t find someone we felt offered the right energy for our wedding. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Once Upon a Vow because I knew Daniela was a perfect fit right away! We could feel her joy in every email communication, and she incorporated lots of little personal touches in our ceremony, including a small Hindu custom that was important for us to include. Though I didn’t actually met Daniela in person until I literally walked down the aisle, my husband and I were thrilled with our sweet, secular ceremony. Her expertise as an officiant was evident when she “directed” us and our few guests as needed, and helped to ensure all went smoothly. Dealing with postponing our “big” wedding was a bummer in many ways but getting to work with Daniela was a major exception. Through her professionalism and enthusiasm, she helped ensure our “big day” was bursting with happiness. She also took care of all paperwork, and it was lovely when our marriage certificate showed up a week after our ceremony without us having to do anything. She sent us a short questionnaire about our story and video chatted with us to get a better sense of what we were looking for. My wife and I planned to get married in May, but with the city shutting down because of covid-19 we had to put everything on hold. A week ago I saw a post on my socials that Once Upon a Vow had partnered with the Brooklyn Grange, offering wedding ceremonies to four queer couples for Pride weekend. How amazing! How Serendipitous!
Daniela and Karla (our officiant) were able to turn out the most meaningful and personalized ceremony with such short notice. It felt like everything fell into place that day in the most miraculous way. The thunderstorm even held off until after the ceremony and then shortly thereafter a huge rainbow graced our loving celebration.
The gratitude I feel is hard to express here. The Once Upon a Vow team believes in love and will do all they can to make your day extra special.

Little Gem PRIDE wedding
We met Daniela and Karla under the most spontaneous circumstances. Our friend entered us into an IG contest for PRIDE celebration were 4 couples would have the honor of celebrating their wedding ceremony on a fantastic Brooklyn rooftop farm. Since our first email exchange with Daniela, we were put at ease by her genuine interest in our story and her ability to craft a vision for our wedding celebration. Meanwhile, Karla went right to work curating our love narrative into a beautiful and intimate story.
On the day of our wedding ceremony, Karla delivered an impassioned retelling of how our love thrived. With her words, Karla was not only able to celebrate our love but also to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and highlight their struggle for equality. We are so happy and honored to have met Daniela and Karla, two professional and dedicated women that do their best to create a memorable moment.

Daniela was the PERFECT officiant for our wedding day as we had wanted a personalised and intimate ceremony and that’s exactly what we got. She was very positive throughout the whole experience - from our initial meeting on Skype right through to the big day. Even now she continues to keep in touch with us via email, messages and even thoughtful post (mail!) sent all the way from the US to Northern Ireland! It goes to show just how much she cares and that shone through on our wedding day. Daniela had taken the time to find out about us by speaking with us often and asking all the right questions. We got to do a Q&A session that served as a really fun and enjoyable communication exercise and encouraged us to think about our relationship - all over a few glasses of wine. What’s not to love?! The result was that our ceremony was filled with meaningful memories, in jokes and specially chosen references that were really personal to us as a couple. Daniela officiated the best and what will be the most memorable day of my life. After receiving an unexpected terminal cancer diagnosis, my (now) husband and I wanted to get married and have a wedding as soon as possible. Barely two weeks later, Daniela officiated our wedding and gave us an unforgettable day in which our families and friends came together to celebrate life and love
Daniela is our first and easiest recommendation - she would be our first pick every time. Daniela was not unnerved by the time pressure - she has an incredible talent to narrate beautiful stories into ceremonies using material that she may have picked up as an offhand comment, anecdotes from the couple and families directly, or her through her own the astute observations.
The introductory conversation my husband and I had with Daniela prior to our ceremony was the catalyst that helped channel our anxieties into pure excitement for the big day - the happiest day. Daniela made us feel like we had known her forever, which is part of what makes her so special. Daniela successfully orchestrated and officiated our ceremony as if she had indeed known us forever. She is highly observant – a trait that manifested itself in her ability to perfect the tone and details of our ceremony, diffuse our stressors and make all of the guests feel like we were part of this important day.
In planning: When we did not have strong feelings about a particular element or lacked direction, Daniela was quick to offer innovative ideas as options and inspiration; at the same time she also accommodated the elements, we knew we did and did not want included in our ceremony.
Daniela was very flexible and adapted the ceremony as needed in stride and with confidence. We knew we had a few very young children who would be in the ceremony and at one point I realized we may benefit from an (on-the-spot!) change to the order of ceremony events. From the altar, I gave Daniela one glance and she took the cue – without a hitch, she literally adapted our ceremony plan contemporaneously.
Daniela loves love; her warm and inspired personality instant connects her with couples - a feeling of inclusion that she seamlessly extends to all the wedding guests (who Daniela made a point to include in our ceremony).
We were so lucky to have Daniela’s style, heart, talent and love as our wedding officiant. By the end of the ceremony she felt like family herself. We love Daniela and she has our highest recommendation. -

My partner and I decided we had to get married 1 week prior our chosen wedding date (02/02/2020, a perfect palindrome). Fortunately, she had already been following Once Upon a Vow and Queer Officiant on Instagram, so we quickly emailed them and made this insane request: “We’re getting married 1 week from today and we need an officiant and maybe a photographer. Can you make this happen?” Within an hour we had an email back from Daniela saying that they would help us make this happen. She sounded super excited for us and would help us work out the details of the ceremony and obtaining a photographer. We also scheduled a FaceTime for the following evening with her sister, Karla, who would be our officiant. She asked us a bunch of questions to get to know us better and made suggestions for things to include in our ceremony and vows. Throughout that chat, Karla was also very upbeat, funny and her enthusiasm for our wedding was infectious. I have to say, that Karla and Daniela were our BIGGEST CHEERLEADERS was probably the most important part of our ceremony process and the ceremony itself. It’s nice, when you’re unsure about making such a big move, and having a gay wedding in public, to have people who are genuinely rooting for you. So, long story short (and I can make this a VERY long story), we had a beautiful, personalized ceremony conducted by Karla at Wagner Cove in Central Park, Judson Rappaport took amazing photos while Daniela shot video, played music, and helped drag our little suitcase of supplies as we took pictures after the ceremony. I almost cried as we ‘walked down the aisle’ to “Tale as Old as Time”. They are a beautiful group of people who made our special little day one that we will always remember. You must have them as your storytellers. If I got married (to the same woman) again, I would have them do our ceremony again. -

Well what can I say about Daniela from Once Upon A Vow other than WOW! From start to finish she made us feel like she was a friend of may years. From her emails from the start I knew she was the one to marry us. We had a hour video chat with daniela and she got to know our love story and recreated this in the ceremony. From the little intimate details and playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who read the vows first. Listeningntonour favourite shows and including the into the vows and the ring exchange. Never seen another wedding with personalised vows as much as our own. Everything was so perfect and I couldnt thank her enough. Even taking videos and pictures throughout the day whilst the photographer was working her magic. Literally from the bottom of our hearts we are ever so grateful for making our day the best day of our lives ❤❤❤❤ -

So you have this idea in your head as to how you’d like your wedding ceremony to be...and then you find Once Upon a Vow and they blow that right out of the water!
Our decision to get married whilst on holiday in New York was really last minute. Having just a few months to prepare, we didn’t really know where to start but some online searching revealed that a wedding officiant could help guide us and add a personal touch to our elopement. (That turned out to be the biggest understatement of the decade!)
As soon as we spoke to Daniela, we knew we were in safe hands and any worries or concerns we had about the process, quickly faded away. She listened to who we were, what we envisaged and gave us the reassuring advice and guidance we needed to relax and enjoy the build up to our wedding. Daniela went above and beyond, helping us to create the perfect vows, find the perfect photographer and liaising with all parties to ensure we had a seamless wedding day. Daniela wrote the most incredible, personalised ceremony which truly reflected our journey as a couple. Our wedding could not have been more perfect and we are beyond grateful to Daniela for being such an incredible soul and for creating the most magical day that we will treasure in our hearts forever.

Our NYC Wedding 10/23/2019
When we first met Daniela last year in November we quickly realised all our dreams had come true & we’d found not only an amazing officiant but someone who could share ‘our story’ so beautifully. We spent the rest of our holiday last year on cloud nine knowing we’d not have to worry, from them all our emails with Daniela were positive & heart warming. The next time we saw her was when I was nearly ready to marry ‘my hero’ & she came in scooped me in for a hug & all my nerves disappeared. We had a great experience working with Daniela! We were looking for an upbeat, non-traditonal, and non-religious officiant for our wedding. Daniela fit that bill. The best there is
Lets put it this way, our ceremony was by far the best part of our wedding day. Daniela was amazing to work with. We live outside of the city so my (now) wife and I had to do everything via Facetime. Daniela took the time to learn so much about us and our relationship. What she crafted was honestly a perfect ceremony, really making it personal to us. She really listened to our wants and our dreams of how we wanted it to be. Even our super religious grandparents raved at our reception about how beautiful our ceremony was.

The excitement that I’m getting writing this review is indescribable! It takes me back to all the emotions I had during my ceremony, and we have Daniela to thank for that. It took me a long time to find an officiant that wasn’t the normal, mundane full religious officiant. Me and my husbands personality is outgoing, funny, romantic, and we wanted someone who represents us, and shows our guest our personalities. Daniela did just that, she’s all that and a bag of chips! Her personality from the 1st conversation was bubbly and always responsive! She got to know us, and it was like we had a best friend officiate our wedding! We loved our ceremony, everyone cried, laughed, screamed! Jonathan and I enjoyed it so much! Our children loved that Daniela involved them in the ceremony by having them bless our rings.
