Olde Breton Inn Wedding
Olde Breton Inn was amazing for our wedding! Their staff made our day run so perfectly, everything was amazing! Many guests commented on how nice the venue and food was. The staff was all so friendly and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding.Sent on 04/24/2019
Susan was especially great to work with. She was so professional and responsive, answering all our questions and helping us through the whole planning process. She went out of her way to allow us to decorate the venue early which made our wedding day much less stressful.
Start to finish Bailey's Catering and Olde Breton Inn was great and provided us with an amazing wedding reception!!

Sara and Susan were beyond amazing during our entire wedding process. They answered any question I had and made any changes; even up to last minute. They accommodated anything that we needed and made sure we felt 100% comfortable with everything. And we did! The venue is absolutely beautiful we couldn’t of been happier with how it turned out or imagined our wedding anywhere else!Sent on 10/17/2018

My husband and I are so, so thrilled that we chose Olde Breton Inn as our venue for both our ceremony and reception. Susan, our coordinator there, was absolutely phenomenal from the moment I first emailed her about details. She is so responsive, so helpful and kind, and was an absolute joy to work with. The outdoor space for the ceremony is beautiful with the gazebo and gardens and a breathtaking view of the water. Our guests still talk about how gorgeous it all was! The reception room was perfect with huge windows overlooking the back deck and gazebo. Our guests spent plenty of time on the dance floor and enjoying the beautiful evening on the deck! The food was phenomenal; they worked with us on our menu and we had BBQ style food, and many of our guests said that it was some of the best they'd ever had. Every single staff member was so incredibly professional and wonderful the day of; we truly couldn't have asked for anything better. I wish we could do it all over again! Highly recommended!!Sent on 07/05/2016

The Olde Breton Inn was a great choice for our wedding. We only did a reception at their site and everyone told us how beautiful it was from inside, and out, as they enjoyed the views of the landscape. We had a lot of my wife's family come in from out of town and had never been to SOMD before, so this gave them a great view of the water for the evening. Susan, the coordinator for the site, was attentive and flexible even with a few last minute changes. She was quite a pleasure to work with for our wedding. The chef worked with us and was able to accommodate the menu to our requests, and everyone raved about how great the food was too. You have to use their chef/catering (Bailey's) which was on-site cooking in their kitchen, and it really was a great choice. Costs for us was great and included the site, bar, and food, and was very reasonable compared to others in the area. We especially liked that it was a great indoor venue, especially on a hot summer day.Sent on 08/16/2016
Note: you must have a minimum of 100 guests (or pay for min. 100) for the food. We had a little under that, but it was still the best option either way.

We had our reception at Olde Breton and it was great! The staff was very responsive and treated all of our guests very well. We got a lot of compliments about the food and the setting is beautiful in the evening with the sun setting over the bay.Sent on 10/11/2015

This past Saturday, I had my reception outdoors under a tent at Olde Breton Inn. The view is just lovely! You could see the river and were slightly above the treeline. As it grew dark, we could even see some fireworks from across the river. Susan was the lady I mostly coordinated with and she was so obliging and understanding. The service at the event was great, as well. Servers and coordinators were very welcoming and offered their assistance if we needed anything.Sent on 06/24/2015

My wedding at Breton felt magical. Susan was always on hand to answer my questions and if she was unavailable, other staff members reached out to us. She had some really great ideas for my wedding, a true professional. Our ceremony was at the gazebo and reception inside. I didn't have to worry about anything and my guests had an amazing time which was my priority. I do recommend finding out if there is an event the next day. I was unaware and as the reception was ending, the staff was prepared to throw away our decorations etc. Other than that, everything was wonderful.Sent on 12/22/2015

I loved Olde Breton Inn the minute we walked inside! The neutral color walls, all of the detailed wood work, and the windows along the back wall are gorgeous and I knew they would make an excellent back drop to our wedding. I also knew that I wanted gold chiavari chairs, so when I saw them I knew it was a good sign!Sent on 04/24/2013
The ceremony location is beautiful as well, and the gazebo is like a blank canvas that you can use as is or decorate however you want.
Susan was our main point of contact and she was always very quick to respond and very helpful. However, we were disappointed that she was not at the venue Friday while we were setting up, or at any point Saturday during our wedding. We had expected that she would be there for the wedding (we never asked point blank, which was our mistake, but it was alluded to...) and it would have been nice to have a familiar face to go to with our questions or to have had a different point of contact introduced to us. In the grand scheme of things, this wasn't a big deal. However, Susan had told us not to worry about extending the reception an hour longer up front, and that if the party was still going on we could extend it then. With her not being there, however, that option wasn't presented to us and the bar was shut down with out anyone telling either of us that they were doing so. Our reception was in full swing and we most definitely would have extended it if we had been approached by someone! It was rather disappointing to not be told the bar was closed, rather to see that the lights had been turned off and the bartenders had disappeared.
Other than that (which if you are aware of up front is easily addressable and not an issue), we were very happy with the Inn and the service overall! It is a beautiful venue and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a ceremony and reception location in one.
