We held our daughter's wedding at Old Glory Ranch. From our first visit all the way to after the wedding, Kimberli went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was what our daughter and her groom wanted. She was incredible to work with! Carey was our day-of coordinator and I greatly appreciated knowing that she was keeping things on track. The team at Old Glory work together so well and made sure everything was in place and went smoothly. The venue itself is set in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. The beautiful Blanco River below and the swaying majestic cypress trees above made the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony. We were then shuttled up to the patio and reception hall that was like a step back in time. The patio created the perfect outdoor space for cocktail hour. Everyone enjoyed visiting under the old oak trees that created a wonderful cool respite from the sun that came out mid-way through the ceremony. The old wagons and barrels were tastefully decorated with greenery and flowers making a wonderful site for the bride and groom's arrival to the reception. Inside the reception hall, the wood gleamed in the candlelight and other lighting and created the ideal setting for dinner. The team at Old Glory worked hard to keep tables cleared so that guests could enjoy their dinner, cake and drinks throughout the evening. I can't thank Kimberli, Carey, and Wade enough, as well as the rest of the Old Glory Ranch team, for making the night such a wonderful and memorable event.

Perfect outdoor wedding venue!
I could not have asked for a better venue and backdrop for our wedding! It truly was amazingly beautiful the OGR team did such a wonderful job from organizing to decorating. Everyone commented endlessly how beautiful the event was start to finish! Even after the event when we realized some things were left behind they were ready and willing to help locate the items for us the following Monday. A Hill Country Dream Come True!
Our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was truly magical and unforgettable. From the very beginning, the team at Old Glory guided us with warmth, professionalism, and unwavering attention to detail. We are especially grateful to Suzanne (owner & vision guru), Kimberli (site manager), and Carey (wedding coordinator), who brought our vision to life and ensured every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed.
The setting—nestled along the banks of the Blanco River—offered the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Old Glory Ranch is full of unique Hill Country charm, from the whimsical miniature burros and the vintage International Harvester truck to the glowing chandeliers suspended in the oak trees. Each element added its own touch of enchantment to the evening.
The wedding was in May and our guests are still gushing about the amazing experience they had and how deeply moved they were not only by the breathtaking venue but also by the heartfelt attentiveness of the staff throughout the entire evening.
Dancing under the stars in the heart of the Hill Country was everything we dreamed of—and so much more! We are still floating on a cloud, reliving the magic of that night. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing. We’d choose Old Glory Ranch every single time!

The best wedding planning decision you'll make!
Having our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! There were so many things that made it the best experience, but the top is their team: Karen is the best person to have in your wedding planning corner and their day-of team enables you, your family, and guests to simply be in the moment and enjoy the event. I would recommend OGR to anyone and am so grateful we chose OGR over other options in the Austin area! Here are the reasons why it was the very best (besides their team): (1) You don't feel like just another bride. The property is so elaborate that you get to customize the experience to just how you want it and you're treated like you're somehow the only bride having an event there (2) The venue is absolutely stunning. Our friends and family from California couldn't get over how beautiful, authentic, and well-run everything was. (3) Ease - the team makes the planning process so much easier than I've heard from other brides. I don't know how I would've made it work otherwise because I was an out-of-state bride!
We had a 150 person wedding with our ceremony at the wedding deck by the river, our cocktail hour on the outdoor patio, and our reception in the chapel. They truly helped make it a dream wedding.

Stress free, excellent venue with miniature burros
Old Glory Ranch was an excellent venue. The staff ensured a stress free event. The venue itself provided multiple ceremony options both indoors and outdoors. We elected to have a riverside ceremony and knowing there was an indoor backup if bad weather occured provided peace of mind. The miniature burros are a must have at all weddings.

This was the most amazing venue to have our wedding!!! The property is gorgeous and provides that texas charm but also can provide a very boho/ fairytale magical night. It really can be made however you want and that’s what attracted us. The beautiful trees and river, you just can’t beat. The staff was so kind and the team was professional, efficient and made us feel very comfortable. Suzzanne, Karen and Carey were absolutely the best team to work with from beginning to end. I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom.

Beautiful spot for outdoor and indoor events
We got married at Old Glory Ranch (OGR) in March 2022 and had a fantastic event. Our ceremony was outside on a deck overlooking the river and our reception was on a covered patio. I wanted an outdoor event to take advantage of the beautiful scenery at OGR; and don't worry about rain/bad weather because OGR will included rain locations which are just as pretty. For the planning of your event at OGR, you should know that you will supply/contract with a DJ, photographer, caterer, etc. and then you connect those folks with the OGR staff so they can coordinate all of the "day of" activities. This was great because on my wedding day I got to enjoy my family and have fun with my guests while the OGR staff took care of everything else (e.g., where the caterer sets up, where guests park, where the guest book goes). During the planning phase I didn't want to spend a lot of time thinking about my bridal bouquet, floral arrangements, table settings, and other decorative details....so I took advantage of the recommendations by the OGR staff. They put together a BEAUTIFUL environment for us. However, you can be as detailed and specific as you want and you can also do your own set up in their DIY pavilion if you want a save some money. I would highly recommend getting married here. My wedding was perfect and Karen (the event coordinator at OGR) is very nice and helpful during the entire planning process.

Perfect Fairytale Wedding
We got married at OGR on May 14th and we couldn't be happier! This venue and the staff are all so wonderful. When I first started looking online, OGR was one of the first venues I saw. I immediately started tearing up as I looked through photos- I knew we had to visit. Seeing Old Glory in person was even more amazing. I knew this was it without even having to shop around.
Karen and Suzanne were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. I appreciated their commitment to being upfront with their prices and making sure we understood what we were paying for before we signed anything. Their prices are very clearly listed and broken down.
Karen was very easy to contact. She took the time to answer any and every question I came up with, despite having her own son's wedding to plan and a broken foot. We did not have to pay for a wedding planner because Karen essentially filled that role for us. OGR has a list of several vendors that they've worked with in the past. They also require that you get all flowers and floral from them. This was actually such a blessing because 1. They guaranteed that we would not spend more than the amount in our contract on flowers and 2. We didn't have to worry about finding another vendor.
OGR also provides a day of wedding coordinator. Karen was in contact with all of our vendors and arranged drop off times. Because of these two things, my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. I knew that all of the behind the scenes things were taken care of- the food and cake would be there, decorations would be set up, the wedding party would be stationed where they needed to be, etc. They also take care of all set up and break down.
On our wedding day, my husband I just showed up and worried about our own roles in the wedding. The way everything was set up was a dream come true! I am a Disney girl through and through and I've always wanted a fairytale wedding. OGR exceeded our expectations and gave us more than we dreamed of. From the horse drawn carriage to the beautiful, classy chapel to the twinkle lights that decorated the patio dance floor to the gorgeous sunset...our wedding was so beautiful. I got so many compliments from friends and family saying it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to and that the venue was perfect. Multiple people told me it felt like a fairytale. Relatives also commented on the convenience of having both the wedding and reception in the same location.
The OGR staff was all in contact over radio the whole time. We never had to look at the clock, we were just told where to go and what we were doing next. At the end of the night, they even loaded up all of our things in our vehicle so we didn't have to worry about it.
This was our wedding, so of course we're a little biased, but this was the most beautiful, smoothest-run wedding I've ever seen. If I could do it all over again, I'd choose OGR in a heartbeat. If you're anything like me and you've always dreamed of your fairytale wedding, consider getting married at Old Glory Ranch. You won't regret it!

Stop Your Search - This is the Perfect Place!
Wow what a venue! I am so glad we chose this place. The team really cares about your wedding and truly want you to have a great time. It was so easy working with Karen and she was so helpful with all of my questions. If you're looking for a venue with some good old fashioned southern charm - this is the place. All of my guests said it was one of the best weddings they have been to in years because the venue was so charming, relaxing, and fun!

My wedding at Old Glory Ranch was a dream. I fell in love with this venue the first time I visited in 2019 and I never had any second doubts, despite having to postpone for a year (which they were extremely flexible about). The staff at Old Glory, especially Karen, was fantastic every step of the way. They worked with me to make sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it, especially when it came to the floral design. Old Glory does all of their floral in-house. This was a bonus for me because it meant that I didn't have to deal with another vendor which helped lessen my stress levels. Something unusual about my wedding was that we had two buffet lines by two different caterers. I was worried that having two caterers might not work, but Karen made it happen! My guests had a wonderful time. This venue was everything I wanted and I am so happy I chose them for my wedding day!

Beautiful location! You and your guest will love it! This was definitely not their first wedding. Very professional and Karen was a joy to work with. Carey is a top notch coordinator. Go with Old Glory!
We are SO happy with our experience with Old Glory Ranch and feel so thankful we went with them for our wedding. I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Karen was our main point person throughout the process and she is AMAZING! She is kind, patient, and always so helpful. We booked the venue right before the pandemic and our wedding was set for April 2021. There was a lot of questions, anxiety as a result of the pandemic, and Karen was really great in helping guide us with decisions and how to create a safe wedding, where everyone felt comfortable. Suzanne, the owner was also wonderful, and we appreciated her involvement. I wanted a specific flower for my bouquet as it had sentimental value and when she couldn't find it, she tried to grow it for me! I wasn't even aware there was difficulty finding it or all the effort she went to until the wedding. Old Glory treats you as if you are their only customer and their main priority. In fact you don't even really feel like a customer, but like a kind friend or family member is helping you out. The staff have all worked together for a very long time and there is a family feel which was important to us. Also, the venue is GORGEOUS and there are so many different options of where to get married. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well, which was relaxing and a great way to start the weekend. Our wedding was an amazing experience !
Karen was so helpful and accommodating! She made all of the arrangements for our elopement on short notice based on my requests and we were beyond satisfied. It was the perfect and as if 300 guests were there . We even had a first dance and cake and champagne !

Rain or Shine the Wedding will go on
Old Glory Ranch isn't just a breathtakingly beautiful location for a small intimate wedding (like ours) but has ample space and locations for large wedding parties as well. We can't thank Karen enough for her kind support and guidance, she's attentive, and has a great attention to detail.
Although, the weather wasn't cooperating and was truly stressing me out, Karen was wonderful at coming up with a Plan B (if needed), thankfully the skies cleared up a short hour before our ceremony. Karen and her team did a fantastic job in quickly pivoting back to our true vision and wish of marrying on the Blanco River.
From start to finish, Karen was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful, she truly does all that she can to help wedding planning be as stress free to the couple as possible.
We look forward to 10 year anniversary at OGR, perhaps even a romantic 1 year anniversary picnic.

Amazing All Around
This was the first venue I visited in person and knew right away that it was perfect for our wedding! Karen was excellent every step of the way and kept me informed on every detail and next step while being both friendly and professional. The location is beautiful with so many options to truly personalize your wedding day including lawn games, drink donkeys, four different ceremony options, even their own floral design service (which we didn't end up using). Plus, Wimberley is such a classic small Texas town that made for a great brunch spot the day after the wedding. I can't recommend Old Glory Ranch enough!

Everything was amazing! This venue was perfect! The staff went above and beyond, and everything was done with excellence. Feeling so blessed to have found Old Glory Ranch for my daughter’s wedding. Everything was just perfect! Karen was an absolute gift during the planning process. Her knowledge was extremely impressive and she blended that with a lovely calm and compassionate way of being particularly as we navigated Covid-19 considerations. OGR’s floral group are pure artists, the most beautiful and trendy bouquets I have ever seen. Our guests called this venue magical and it surely is!

Old Glory is hands down the BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!!!! From day one, my now husband and I were greeted with so much kindness, knowledge, and care during our tour. Throughout the planning process, Karen made sure we always had our questions answered, and we could feel that the staff at OGR truly and whole heartedly cared about us and our wedding day. She went above and beyond to provide suggestions, communication with vendors, and reassurance through the pandemic. Even on wedding day she helped calm me down by talking me through every step up until I took that first step down the aisle! Suzanne literally made my floral dreams come true! My ideas were a little different, yet she knew exactly what I was going for and executed it PERFECTLY. We even dipped into the river after our ceremony and got some pretty amazing photographs! We have received countless compliments about how gorgeous the venue, florals, and other decorations were, as well as it being “the best wedding they’ve ever been to”. Carey made sure our day ran flawlessly, I literally cannot think of one thing that didn’t go as planned. Old Glory has weddings down to a T. In the end, everyone at OGR (Karen, Carey, Wade, Suzanne, etc.!!!) felt like family, and they really made sure that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. THANK YOU I wish we could do it all again!

Amazing Venue
I cannot express enough how amazing and wonderful our experience with Old Glory Ranch has been. Suzanne and Karen are miracle workers! Taking our ideas and desires and making them happen even beyond our expectations!! Accomplishing this with both my daughter and I living many miles away and from two different states, was made unbelievably easy.

The absolute best!
I could not recommend Old Glory Ranch enough!!!! I truly feel like they are family now as they stood by my husband and I through this crazy year of 2020. When our original wedding date had to be postponed due to COVID, Karen (and the whole OGR staff) had everything handled. I knew OGR was on our side through everything. They handled most of the communication with our vendors and I never doubted they were there to support us. They worked with us to organize our new wedding date in July and went above and beyond to keep our guests safe. Multiple people told us (even despite COVID!), it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The decor was stunning and they were still able to make our dream wedding come true. I would choose them over and over again and will never forget everything they did for us!!

Perfect wedding at Old Glory Ranch, even during a pandemic!
Old Glory Ranch is the best wedding venue I could ever imagine. They successfully navigated us through the coronavirus pandemic to help us have the perfect wedding! Everyone at OGR was so wonderful, Karen Smith was the wedding/site coordinator. She constantly communicated with us and all our vendors, updating them every time there was a change and when we had to change our date due to COVID. She was simply amazing and a life saver, not to mention just nice to work with. Suzanne McCord is the owner and also great and very supportive, and only wants the perfect wedding for you. Suzanne did all our flowers and many of our guests commented on how beautiful they were and that it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. Carey Millington was our 'day of' coordinator and equally wonderful to work with and helped tremendously. The entire Old Glory Ranch staff was nice and a well-oiled machine, executing the entire day perfectly. Many guests also commented on the amazing service. And, at the end of our wonderful day, the staff packed up our cars and once the wedding was over, we just had to get in our cars and leave. We have seen and helped at other weddings when the parents, friends, and family pack and clean up for hours or days and we didn't have to do anything - SO nice! We also had the horse-drawn carriage and miniature donkeys, both of which were a big hit! The entire experience was more than we could ever ask for and if we had to do it all over again, we would do everything exactly the same (without a pandemic hopefully!) Would DEFINITELY recommend Old Glory Ranch for anyone considering a wedding or event!!

Choosing Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, Texas for our daughter’s wedding was an easy decision. On arrival to the venue for our tour with Karen, we fell in love with the flowered pastures with grazing miniature donkeys, the beautiful rustic chapel, and magnificent old sprawling trees. The chapel has lovely stained glass and large pieces of furniture that make decorating possibilities endless. OGR was very accommodating for my daughter’s engagement and bridal photos. Karen who worked with us through the entire process was amazing. Her mission was for the family to enjoy the process and on the big day to have nothing to think about but enjoying family and friends. Suzanne, owner of Old Glory Ranch, met with us for our design meeting. We had a few absolute choices for flowers and arrangements, but she was very helpful in offering additional possible design ideas and in some areas, we left it up to her and what she knew worked well. Floral and décor exceeded our expectations! The outside was decorated as beautifully as the inside. Carey, our event planner, created our timeline and the evening flowed perfectly. We live in Houston, but because communication was timely and detailed with all the staff, it allowed for flawless long- distance planning with just a couple onsite meetings. Having the freedom to utilize inside and outside made it a perfect evening for everyone. During the reception, guests had the option of enjoying inside with music and a dance floor with ample seating or relaxing outside on the patio or under beautifully lite trees while flickering lightening bugs joined in the festivities!

Words can not describe how truly blessed I am to have picked such an amazing and beautiful venue. From the very first visit, I knew this was the place for me. Just the first sight driving up onto the ranch was a breathtaking experience.
Old Glory strives to help every bride make their wedding dreams a reality, and they truly have accomplished this. From the design meeting with Suzanne, to April and Carey helping organize and run the big day, this made a huge difference to making my wedding experience fun and enjoyable . My experience was wonderful.
My daughter's wedding was 4/27/19. We had a great experience the wedding was beautiful, I still get rave reviews from family and friends. Karen our event coordinator was on point and helped with all the details, the staff were friendly and made it so easy for me to have a great time. Karen and Suzanne were so helpful in every way possible. I literally had nothing to worry about. If I had a question, I just emailed Karen and she responded very quickly. Sometimes even after business hours. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful venue with everything included!

We can't say enough positive things about our experience with Old Glory Ranch. From the start of the planning process to the big day they absolutely thought of everything and made us feel like family. Our family members did not have to lift a finger and could just enjoy our big day because the wedding venue took care of things down to the last detail. Not only is this place gorgeous, the people are what truly make the difference. We are so happy we were able to say our vows and OGR.

Our daughter got married there April 14, 2018. It was BEAUTIFUL and so well organized. They handled all last minute details with vendors. I was so relaxed on the wedding day and was able to enjoy spending that time with my daughter. Not only did the bride have fun at her wedding, but my husband and I had a blast too!! Our DJ was awesome! The flowers we amazing!! Event Site Manager, Karen Smith was WONDERFUL at handling all the details so I didn’t have to. Our Event Planner Carey Millington ran a tight ship and kept the day on track without making it feel stuffy and rigid. After the event was over, our car was already completely loaded by their staff with any items that were ours to take home. What a brilliant gift for us! My husband and I were able to go back to our cabin and visit with our family instead of spending an hour or so gathering our things. I would recommend this venue over and over again!

Old Glory Ranch went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding venue. We first met with April and were sold on Old Glory from the moment we walked in. We worked with Karen and of course Susan and they were both more than helpful. They were prompt with all of their responses, so flexible with our meetings and amazingly helpful for everything we needed for our wedding day. My vision for our wedding not only came to life but exceeded my expectations. I loved working with Old Glory Ranch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue or anything else!

What a perfect wedding venue! The staff were amazing. So wonderful to work with. The look after every last detail. We planned this wedding from Oregon and they accommodated us despite the distance. The guests said it was the prettiest wedding they had been to! Thank u!

What a wonderful place to have a wedding. Everything was beautifully done and the staff couldn't have been any better. Truly a turn key operation and they will take care of all of your needs. Everyone was saying that this was the most beautiful wedding they have been to!

We got married at Old Glory Ranch at the end of September. As a bride you feel it is so important to have every little thing exactly the way you want it. Old Glory Ranch made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Not only does the staff really care about you and your wedding, but they offer so much in their package it really limits the number of vendors you have to manage. You don't even have to manage your vendors because Old Glory will work with them. They reach out and make sure everything is set for your event. The really strive to make your wedding yours. We still have people call us and talk about how amazing our wedding was. The guests all felt like it was smoothly run and had no down time, everything flowed into the next thing. It really put my mind at ease the day of to know that they had it all under control. If you are getting married in the Texas Hill Country I highly recommend having Old Glory Ranch as your venue. It was absolutely stunning and I can't stress enough how the people that work there make all the difference. I loved my experience.

Old Glory is the prefect setting for a wedding. It felt right the moment we walked through the door of the Chapel. Our daughter got married there in April and we are still hearing from friends and family what an amazing night it was.
Many, many thanks to all the staff for outstanding service but most especially to Karen, who goes above and beyond to help.
We had definite ideas for centre pieces for the tables, which Suzanne hadn't done before, but she surpassed herself. They were beautiful, as were all the flowers.
The venue is unique, and the packages they offer remove some of the stress of organizing a wedding, from flowers to their eclectic choice of accessories.

Wow, where do I begin? I arrived at this venue unexpectedly and the owner Susan happened to be there to give me a tour. When I say fate brought me here, I mean it. Susan welcomed me with open arms and I knew stepping into this venue that this was the place I wanted to marry my best friend. Her coordinators were so great at keeping me up to date with all that needed to be done, but what you really should know is they do everything for you. Literally everything. I had the BEST wedding, more than I could have dreamed of due to this venue and the staff. I was amazed on my wedding day on the outcome and not only that, I got to ENJOY my wedding day along with our family. Everyone that attended was so amazed. Thank you Old Glory Ranch for making my dreams come true!!

From the very beginning my experience as the groom of our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was great! All the staff from the planners to the actual coordinator on the day of the event were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional which made a very stressful time and process so much better. Our wedding day was amazing and their staff did everything possible to make all of it go off without a hitch. I still am getting comments from friends and family on how beautiful the venue was and how well the everything flowed from wedding to reception. If you're looking to have a great wedding in the beautiful Texas Hill Country then look no further!

If your son or daughter is planning a wedding and they mean the world to you....there is no other place like Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, TX. Best venue in TEXAS! The attention to detail, along with the customer service is the example for others to follow. My wife and I were the brides parents and we felt like we were invited guests as well....it was a worry and stress "free" experience! My husband and I quickly fell in love with Old Glory Ranch. Chapel hall is absolutely beautiful; the charm and romance fill the air. Suzanne, Karen, and April were amazing! If you are looking for an outside, rustic, or hill country wedding/reception you MUST go see Suzanne and Karen at Old Glory! The venue itself is gorgeous (we did ceremony in chapel and reception in pavilion). Beyond the venue itself though is the management and staff. We were DIY with limited funds and they helped make all my daughters dreams come true! All of the vendors they suggested in our budget were beyond perfect. Karen anticipated every potential problem with our plans and worked to help us correct them before the bug day. Long story, but our original venue did not get completed in time and Old Glory saved the day with short notice. Three have my children have been married over the last 4 years so believe me when I say Old Glory is a perfect choice for a wedding venue. All weddings were beautiful but Old Glory went the extra mile in every way. Advice - GET THE DONKEYS and if you use pavilion and your DJ has a light kit you don't need to get more lights (we did and it was nice, but it wasn't necessary at all).

100% stop looking and book this venue, Karen Smith was awesome to work with. The staff was amazing and super nice, their vendors were over the top awesome and the price was great! If you want to DIY [I did] the pavilion is the perfect venue, you barely need anything as far as decorations. Old Glory goes above and beyond expectations. They helped make my wedding day the most amazing day I could have ever imagined. Even with going through me [a busy grad student who lives 4 hours away, with a tight budget, and only 3 months to plan the wedding] they managed to stay so professional and attentive to every question and need. They are so helpful beyond the contract, I would definitely work with them again in the future.
Have a DJ bring lighting, and you wont need to go to the trouble of buying and putting up extra lights.
Oh, and use the donkeys, they were a HUGE hit for my guests and awesome for pictures.

I knew as soon as I walked into the chapel for the first time that Old Glory Ranch would be the place I got married. Our wedding was on 1/14/17, and it was the most beautiful, special, and unforgettable night ever. From a woman who did not know all that goes into planning a wedding and also decided to do it in 3 short months, the staff at OGR made it possible and stress free. They definitely know what they're doing and go out of their way to help you with whatever you need, large or small.
The place is absolutely breathtaking. Suzanne, the owner, really knows how to capture the look you're going for. In my design meeting with her, I just gave her a brief description of what I wanted and showed her some pictures, and she far exceeded my expectations. My bridal bouquet was exquisite, and the venue looked better than I even imagined.
Karen was my coordinator and she helped me every step of the way, and always responded quickly. She also contacted all my vendors so I didn't have to worry about a thing, which I am so grateful for!
Carey was an incredible planner! She made the whole night go so smooth. Any last minute changes or ideas, she made it happen. She really is amazing at what she does and made the night come together beautifully.
The entire staff was great!! They really go above and beyond to make your wedding day magical...I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Thank you all for making my wedding perfect!!

We got married at Old Glory Ranch October 15, 2016 and couldn't have picked a better venue! Our guest are still contacting us about how great everything was. The staff and grounds sets this venue apart! When you turn around to look for someone for a simple questions, they are right there. From meetings, emails and phone calls the staff at Old Glory Ranch is the best in the business. The floral/ decoration teams made all our ideas a reality. The Chapel at Old Glory Ranch was spectacular. Karen, the wedding planner, Carey, the day of coordinator, and Suzanne, the owner are the best in the business. The entire event from start to finish was flawless, beautiful and magical. Our guests as well as ourselves were treated to an experience that was both dazzling and breathtakingly beautiful. The flowers were exactly what my daughter envisioned as well as all the décor. Guests commented how beautiful and tastefully everything was done. The love between the couple filled the chapel and Franciscan Friar, Brother Scott Johnson won everyone's heart as he officiated the ceremony while harpist Pamela Brown played angelic music. The food from Austin Catering was comparable to a high- end restaurant and the gorgeous cake from Sweet Treats Bakery were delicious as well as the Tiny Pie Company's miniature pies. The OGR staff were extremely attentive and efficient, no detail was too small to attain perfection. At the end of the night, everything was packed away and loaded for us. We did absolutely nothing but enjoy the wedding and reception ourselves. My husband and I along with our family and friends never left the dance floor until the sparkler and spectacular firework display at the end of the night. Oh, I forgot the donkeys that entertained guests while we took pictures- they were a big hit too. All in all, if I had it to do again I would love to recapture this whole experience again at Old Glory Ranch.

My husband, Carl and I, got married this past April at the breathtaking, Old Glory Ranch! We couldn't have been more pleased with how much attention to detail the staff, owner, and wedding coordinator put into making our BIG day beyond perfect! From the moment we took our first tour and met with Old Glory staff, we knew that we had found our dream venue and were so excited to begin the planning! The drive up the pathway, leading to the most unique rustic Chapel Hall speaks for itself and an added plus are what the Hill Country is known for, the Bluebonnets and Wildflowers! We knew that we wanted lots of floral accents to go with our theme as our bridesmaids dresses were floral with an array of color. The Old Glory Floral team did a spectacular job with each and every arrangement they put together, from my beautiful bouquet to the centerpieces and in between. Old Glory not only assisted with helping us plan the look and feel of our wedding day, but they also provided amazing lists of all the best connections in the area from Food to Music to Cake designers and Photography! Overall, we wanted our friends and family to have a wedding weekend that they couldn't forget, at a place that they would continue talking about for years and years to come and we know for a fact that we got that with Old Glory Ranch! We can't thank you all enough for all that you did!

My wife and I could not have been happier with Old Glory Ranch and their staff. We are natural planners and were met with professional staff who shared great ideas with us in the planning phase and were extremely flexible and understanding of our needs for our wedding day.
They do a great job of managing all the "ins and outs" of wedding planning and the wedding day. My wife and I would meet and update with vendor selections and ideas, and Old Glory Ranch would take care of the rest! The tasks of decorating, making deliveries and stressful jobs on the day of the wedding that typically are assigned to family members are taken care of in your site fee to OGR. They simply let you and your family enjoy the day and they manage the day seamlessly to your discretion.
The design and floral teams are spectacular in their custom design packages, flower and floral arrangements and they were so friendly and flexible in choosing how we wanted our day to look. We were able to explain our budget needs and concerns and OGR bent over backwards to make it work.
The venue itself is a beautiful place that guests will love, there are many little touches that you can add to make it special for your wedding day.
I would highly reccomend this venue to anyone.

My entire experience with Old Glory Ranch and the incredible, personable and caring staff made my perfect day so enjoyable. The decorations and the flowers left me breathless. In all of my life, I could have never imagined such a perfect venue/day. We literally got to enjoy every moment of it and it was so perfect! My husband and I are so appreciative for the job that was done to make the venue so beautiful, making our wedding day absolutely perfect. We will remember this day for the rest of our lives and have made lasting friendships with the incredible staff members. The venue and staff are truly one of a kind! My husband and I were looking for an outdoor venue in the hill country for our wedding in April that had a good "plan B" option in case of rain. I was set on having it outdoors until we walked into Old Glory's chapel for the first time. Pictures truly don't do it justice. The chapel (and adjacent stone patio) were like nothing we had ever seen. It's charming, unique, vintage, and -to boot- has a very neat history behind the building of it.
The icing on top of a great venue is the staff. We worked primarily with April, Karen, and Susan. They were all tentative, helpful, personable, and professional. Especially the weekend of our wedding, knowing they were on top of everything allowed my husband, myself, and our families to relax and enjoy such a special time. A big thanks to OGR staff for giving us the best wedding we could have asked for!

Bluebonnets and beautiful weather were just the icing of the most perfect evening for our son's rehearsal dinner. Old Glory's staff and the location were beyond what we had envisioned. Suzanne, Karen, and the rest of the crew executed an outstanding party beneath the old oak trees. We were able to sit back, relax, and soak it all in!

I knew this was the venue for me the moment we pulled up to the Chapel!! The staff was there for us every step of the way and their attention to detail was impeccable. They recommended some great businesses for the cake, catering, photographer, and all the extras you could want for your special day! I spoke with them about the idea I had for my bouquet, and trusted them to just make it......and they couldn't have made a more beautiful bouquet for me!! The town of Wimberley is the cutest little quaint town and our friends and family enjoyed all the sight seeing and gorgeous views! We heard nothing but good things from our guests and they said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding :)

We used Old Glory Ranch for our rehearsal dinner venue. My mother in law handled all the details so I did not have direct communication with Old Glory Ranch. Our rehearsal dinner was such a success. Everyone had a great time! The setting was beautiful with the trees lit with lanterns. They even provided the flower arrangements which were gorgeous!

Suzanne, Gina, our day of coordinator Carey and the rest of the staff worked endlessly to make sure our day went smoothly. It was so nice to be able to enjoy every part of our wedding day. We've had multiple people comment on how calm and happy our day was. It helped knowing I had the OGR team behind the scenes. Their attention to detail go above and beyond.
Suzanne and her floral team somehow made the already beautiful Chapel Hall more beautiful with their floral design. Suzanne listened to everything I wanted and created the most perfect floral backdrop to our summer wedding!
The in house DJ, Chris ROCKED! He also did a great job at listening to what Nick and I wanted and created a playlist that had our whole wedding out on the dance floor all night long.
If you're looking for a hill country venue with beautiful grounds and a staff that is top notch look no further than Old Glory Ranch. You can't go wrong with a wedding here-my only regret is we can't do it over and over again!

Glorious outdoor late afternoon wedding and reception in the Texas Hill Country
Old Glory Ranch exceeded our expectations for my daughter's recent wedding. The up-front counseling, designing and vendor recommendations proved to be incredibly valuable. Suzanne and Gina were so thorough in their assistance and though we poured over the most minute details with their kind staff and vendors, we were elated that everything was even better than anticipated.
The flowers were exquisite, the décor was perfect, our wedding coordinator, Kim, made everything happen so effortlessly and the staff and facilities were perfect. I loved the added touch of the extra lights in the trees and highly recommend their on-staff DJ. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it so that we had a very crowded dance floor most of the evening. The donkey drink delivery was also fun and well received.
With the entire package that we purchased with Old Glory Ranch, I will attest that every penny spent was more than worth it in the end. If you are contemplating a wedding in the Texas Hill Country, I will vouch for the fact that Old Glory Ranch did everything in their power for our wedding to be the most special, trouble free, and positively memorable day for the bride, groom, family and guests. Much of their staff are employees rather than contract labor so they really know what they are doing. During the event and afterwards we received multiple accolades such as "Best wedding I have ever attended.....Kudos to the wedding venue for such a great event.....Best setting ever."

Our wedding was held at Old Glory in July 2014. It was the best day of our lives!! Everyone at Old Glory was awesome to work with. The ceremony was in the chapel and then guests went out on the covered patio for cocktail hour while the room was flipped and then guests came back in for the reception/dinner/dancing. All of the vendors that Old Glory suggested were great also. Everyone is very professional and organized. The actual day of the wedding was flawless. Everyone kept telling me how I was such a calm bride but I think it was honestly because I had nothing to worry about! Everything was taken care of and anything I could want or need on the day of was there in front of me before I could even think of it. It helped everyone relax and just be able to enjoy the day. Old Glory does all of the floral and design for the wedding and they can come up with anything you can imagine! I absolutely loved all of the flowers that we had at our wedding. All of our guests commented how beautiful the wedding was and how the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend Old Glory to anyone wanting a beautiful Texas Hill Country wedding. They went above and beyond my expectations!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the amazing people that run it. Everyone that works here is very friendly and professional. They know exactly what they are doing and provide those little details that you don't even think of that make the big day flow so smoothly. It was wonderful to have a venue that also provided all the decor, as they know their environment and how to make the whole place gorgeous, even the little nick and crannies you don't know about. All my guests were totally wowed by how absolutely gorgeous the whole place was!! I have heard from several guests that this was the best wedding they have ever attended! Even on the wedding day when we were scrambling to come up with a "signature drink", the owner, coordination, matron of honor, and I were in their kitchen taste testing and having a great time! They were so fun to work with!! The whole process, from the initial stages of planning to our wedding day were flawless!!! I did nothing on my special day but enjoy and have fun!!! I cannot imagine celebrating the best day of our lives any other place than Old Glory Ranch. My husband and I are both from Houston, however we were wanting something different - not the usual Houston wedding. After going through multiple magazines and feeling very overwhelmed, I asked my brother what his favorite wedding was, and why. He immediately replied Old Glory Ranch reasons being the beautiful chapel, the sound of the chapel bell as the bride rode in on a horse drawn carriage, the donkeys carrying beverages around the cocktail hour, the fireworks display, and of course the overall beauty of the venue. My mom and I checked out the website and thought we would give them a call to see if our date might be available. I could not believe that the date was open as our hopeful wedding date was only 7 months away. After our initial visit to the property, we knew that this was a special place. I could not wait for our family and friends to see and experience the beauty of the Wimberley hill country. The staff at Old Glory Ranch makes sure that EVERYTHING is taken care of so I did not have to worry about anything on the day of our wedding. It was so helpful having a list of vendors that they know and trust since I was not from the area. I could not have asked for a more seamless and organized wedding planning process. To this day, when the topic of weddings comes up, family and friends tell me how much they enjoyed our wedding and that it was by far their favorite wedding they have been to. There are so many unique offerings at Old Glory Ranch, the guests really appreciate the thought and natural beauty of the venue and most importantly, have a blast!! I cannot thank the staff (and my brother for the idea!) at Old Glory Ranch for making October 5th such a memorable day in not only our lives, but also our family and friends!!

This was hands down the best wedding venue we could have ever imagined! The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with and was a joy to have on our big day, they made the whole process easy and really allowed us to enjoy our wedding in a stress free environment. When I thought things couldn't be any better, the ranch is absolutely beautiful and is set within the amazing Texas Hill Country. The Chapel Hall is made from rustic reclaimed wood and provides spectacular views of the property. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and one of their favorite parts of our wedding were the donkeys that carried cold beverages to guests during our cocktail hour! The staff at Old Glory are very professional and made our wedding night stress free and everything we dreamed of. I highly recommend Old Glory Ranch as a wedding venue!

From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew Old Glory Ranch would be a unique and memorable venue for our daughter's wedding. OGR exudes sophisticated Texas Hill Country charm in every detail. Set in a beautiful valley near the quaint village of Wimberley, Old Glory Ranch provided the perfect venue for an evening we will never forget and will cherish forever. Suzanne McCord and her team provided a turn-key planning process. We were expertly led every step of the way. Our questions were answered promptly. It is obvious that their business is weddings. We had the benefit of their vast experience which really paid off in the end. Planning a wedding is a lot of work with so many decisions to make. We felt like we were given good advice. They had a great list of vendors and good recommendations and ideas. We were also given plenty of options for arrangements, table settings, center pieces, altar furnishings and decor. Everything they had available was lovely. In the months prior to the wedding, we met together three times on property to make choices and work out the details. They gave us a timeline that kept every decision on schedule. I don't know how we could have planned our event without their help. The week of the wedding was such a whirlwind of activity. Gina and Karen were available all week to help us with last minute details. They were friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. It was obvious that they truly cared about making our daughter's wedding perfect in every way. The OGR team executed our desires expertly. They paid attention to every detail in the schedule and kept the evening flowing so that nothing was missed. We did not have to worry about anything. We were able to just enjoy ourselves and soak up the memories of our daughter's special day. We could not have asked for a better experience.

My wedding at Old Glory was an absolute dream! Nothing was left out of the dream wedding that I imagined as a little girl. In fact, the wedding at Old Glory went above and beyond what I could imagine a wedding could even be! Old Glory is an absolute paradise! There is not an area that would not make the perfect picture with the trees, river, landscape, the chapel, and the wildflowers. The bluebonnets were in full bloom the weekend we were married and that was the best surprise I could ever have imagined. My precious grandmother had passed away unexpectedly a month prior to my wedding and one of her favorite flowers was the bluebonnet. I have never seen so many beautiful bluebonnets!
The best part of my wedding aside from the natural beauty of Old Glory was the staff! I did not have to worry about a thing! The day went so smoothly and my only job was to show up and enjoy the day. That meant a lot to me especially when I have seen brides in the past as a bride maid stress out before, during, and after the wedding. The personal touches that the staff did that day was actually the best part of my day and was so unexpected. I felt like I could have easily been royalty or a Hollywood celebrity that day with the friendliness of the staff knowing all the little things to say or do to make my experience one of a kind. For example, Gina took the time to take a picture of the first time my dad was able to see me dressed as a bride. That was a moment that she went above and beyond to capture a magical moment that will only happen once. It was something that I did not even think about when I planned my wedding and I appreciate the fact that she stopped and took the time to do so. The staff easily could have been a part of my family the way they cared for each moment as if I was his or her daughter. I am very thankful and appreciative of each and every one at Old Glory for being a part of my wedding.

Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful everything was from the bluebonnets to the centerpieces to how magical the day flowed. Gina, Kellye and the staff were very accommodating and provided first class service during the wedding planning and our big day. Our wedding party witnessed firsthand the outstanding quality of service, and still talk about it today. We did the majority of the planning from long distance. Gina made sure to make this typically stressful process a breeze. We were so impressed how they thought of every single detail. My husband and I share a love of natural beauty and Old Glory Ranch has that In abundance. While Chapel Hall is beautiful, we chose to get married on the wedding deck with the beautiful Blanco River providing the perfect backdrop for our vows. We held our reception on the patio and grounds outside of Chapel Hall. Friends and family enjoyed a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing. Suzanne McCord, the owner, and her floral staff provided amazing accents that blended with the Spring colors and earthy tones we chose for our wedding. An added bonus was that Old Glory Ranch provided linens, table accents, candles, flatware, etc. so I didn't have to worry about gathering or having those items delivered. There is a variety of items to chose from so I was able to pick the perfect items to finish off our wedding decor.
The most impressive quality Old Glory Ranch offers is a friendly, professional, and accommodating staff. From the moment my car pulled up at the ranch to when the last guest left at the end of the night, the staff stayed attentive and energetic. Our wedding flowed perfectly thanks to their tireless efforts. Special thanks to Gina McClure, Karen Smith, and Kimberley Hunt!
Thanks also to Chris Heckendorn, Old Glory's resident DJ, for providing all our music. We are an eclectic group of all ages and music styles and Chris kept the dance floored filled all night!
Old Glory was also able to connect me with Kim A. Hunt Coordination. Kim kept the event flowing and made sure everything, from first dance, to the bouquet toss, to our exit under a stunning arch of sparklers, went off without a hitch!

Wow I am still excited about our wedding at Old Glory Ranch. It was so beautiful and beyond our expectations They did our flowers and decorations based on photos we provided and the outcome was so pretty and more than what I had imagined. The staff did a fantastic job setting up everything and keeping up with all of the activities throughout the evening that I did not worry about anything and neither did our parents. I have to say a big thank you to Gina and Karen for all of their attention to detail and getting our vendors there on time and coordinating all of the behind the scene activities. What an amazing evening! The wedding of our daughter, Haley Layman to Luke Cochran was absolutely beautiful. The Old Glory Ranch is the epitome of Elegant Hill Country Ranch atmosphere. What I like most about this venue, is that they offer a true Chapel to fulfill our desire for a religious ceremony, as well as the ambiance of beautiful outdoor patios, fireplace, sunsets and rustic elegance as amazing as you will find anywhere in Texas. In the event of inclement weather, we were assured that the entire event could be indoors, and exterior patio areas would be heated. It was so lovely and the staff went over and above to assure that everything was taken care of from start to finish. The dedicated and personable staff included wedding coordinators -Gina and Kim, site coordinator- Karen, design team, & a service crew behind the scenes that made the entire evening flow effortlessly until the bride and groom’s departure through a tunnel of spectacular sparklers into a gorgeous antique Bentley. A Big Shout Out to “The Klocks” of San Antonio, our amazing band that performed to a packed dance floor all night, and to Don Strange Ranch Catering that provided a delicious assortment of appetizers, entrees and side items that received rave reviews from our guests. Classic Cakes by Lori designed our Bride and Groom’s cakes. They were a pleasure to work with. Our cakes were moist and delicious, in addition to fantastic service and delivery. Finally a heartfelt thank you to Suzanne McCord, owner of Old Glory Ranch who has poured her heart and soul into this venue, and making each and every wedding something extremely memorable and special to the couples they host.

Old Glory Ranch takes care of every detail and executed my event perfectly! The staff helped me with all the planning, flowers, and decorations. My wedding day went very smoothly with their help, and it was very hassle-free for me. They were all very professional, and they accommodated my budget and my priorities for the style and feel of the event. My guests have given me so many compliments about the entire event, and I have to say that I think the venue and staff had a lot to do with that. It also turned out great in pictures, such a perfect hill country setting for the background!

I can't recommend OGR enough! They took care of everything and made the day so smooth. The weather decided to drop into freezing, but we didn't notice. OGR was quick to come up with a plan B and make us feel like it was meant to be. Everyone said this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and OGR played such a huge role in that.

Perfection! That is the first word that comes to mind when I think about my daughter’s wedding held at Old Glory Ranch on March 22, 2014. From the beautiful wedding deck setting, (overlooking the river) where they exchanged their vows, to the outdoor patio and grounds, everything was amazing! Old Glory Ranch managed to meld my more traditional vision with my daughter’s special flair and created a unique, beautiful ceremony and reception. The flowers, table décor, and over all atmosphere was a delight for all of our guests. The service was beyond compare-Suzanne, Karen, and Gina kept us on track and helped steer us in the right direction throughout the whole wedding planning process. Kim was by our side from the moment we arrived and she made sure our event flowed effortlessly. Chris, the sound tech and DJ extraordinaire, set the mood at the ceremony and kept our guests on the dance floor with the perfect mix of all kinds of music. The entire staff epitomizes the true definition of a “class act”. I have heard nothing but positive, glowing comments about our event and I owe that to everyone at Old Glory Ranch! If you are considering a wedding in your future, then you can’t go wrong by choosing Old Glory Ranch as your venue!
