Couldn’t ask for more!!
All I can say is WOW!! Oglebay was the best choice my husband and I could have ever made for our wedding ceremony and reception. We had our ceremony on the West Spa patio and it was absolutely beautiful. Followed by our reception in the Glessner auditorium which was everything I could have dreamed of. All of our guests can not believe how pretty the entire Oglebay set up was! So many friends and family keep telling us it was the most put together wedding they have ever been to. But… A very special shout out to our wedding coordinator Lauren Mitchell! She was AMAZING! When we needed something she was right there with us every step of the way. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted and more. She was very responsive towards all emails, phone calls, meetings etc. We can not thank her enough!!-

Dream Venue
Oglebay Resort is a dream come true wedding venue. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or well-organized experience. We had our reception in the Glessner Auditorium. It is an elegant space with wood paneling, high ceilings, and an overall timeless charm. The staff was outstanding! The bartenders and servers were attentive and ensured our guests were taken care of all night. Our venue coordinator, Lauren, was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. From start to finish of our cocktail hour and reception, the coordination was flawless because of her. Additionally, Lauren was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She is very responsive and ensured our reception was everything we hope for and more!
Oglebay’s catering was amazing! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and cooked perfectly. From appetizers during cocktail hour to our plated dinner, everything was fresh and flavorful. The bartenders were also great! They were very efficient and professional.
We highly recommend Oglebay! It’s a venue that combines the natural beauty of the resort (providing countless picture-perfect locations!), exceptional service, and elegant reception areas. Our guests loved every aspect of our wedding and are still talking about how incredible our reception was. Our dream wedding was truly brought to life thanks to Oglebay! -

Winter Wedding
We had the most perfect winter wedding at Oglebay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. The venue itself was stunning, with the winter setting adding the perfect touch of magic to our day. The food was fantastic—our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The bar was kept busy all night, but the staff never missed a beat, ensuring that everyone had what they needed. They served our guests promptly and efficiently, and every detail was handled with such care. Oglebay -especially our wedding coordinator, Lauren, truly went above and beyond to make our day special, and we are so grateful for their incredible service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful and seamless wedding experience! -

Amazing Wedding location!
We had our wedding at Oglebay in December 2021. It was so magical! I would recommend it over and over again, especially if you want to be married around the holidays. The entire lodge was decorated beautifully (it always is), but something about winter really makes it spectacular. The staff were incredible and made us feel so important. We also used several of Oglebay's preferred vendors (shout out Hannah Barlow and Finest Events) who were awesome to work with as well. I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. -

Amazing venue!
We had our wedding at Oglebay in May 2021. Our ceremony was in the Fort Henry room and our reception was in Glessner Hall. The staff was phenomenal and both rooms were amazing. Our guests absolutely enjoyed getting to spend a weekend away and we received so many compliments! -

Better than we imagined
My husband and I got married at Oglebay on July 18, 2020. We were planning on marrying at my church in the South Hills of Pennsylvania, but due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we were forced to look elsewhere. A friend of mine who frequents Oglebay year round for their various outdoor activities recommended we check out Oglebay. It was 2-weeks until our scheduled wedding date and although we thought that such a luxurious place may be too expensive, we were desperate, so decided to check it out.
The wedding specialist that we met with was extremely friendly and helpful. She was very attentive to our questions and helped us to plan a wedding that was not only better than what we previously planned, but better than we imagined! Not to mention, our beautiful wedding ended up staying within budget and the wedding photographer that we were originally working with ended up being one of Oglebay’s recommended wedding vendors, so he knew where to take the most stunning pictures.-

Our first and only choice.
I had never been before, and we chose Oglebay after our first tour of Glessner Auditorium in Wilson Lodge. We are a couple from pittsburgh that wanted a “destination” feel without costing our guests an arm and a leg. The resort has so many wonderful amenities and i can’t wait to see what fun our guest get into. Our coordinator, Lauren, has been an absolute gem to work with. She had made things clear and understandable. We are so excited for our wedding this June, and the added benefit of booking a large picnic shelter for a welcome party the night before. Oglebay is a one stop shop and i can’t imagine doing this planning process any other way. -

Fantastic venue!
I cannot speak highly enough about Oglebay! Cassie Holstein was absolutely amazing to talk to leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond the day of the wedding to make sure that everything went perfectly. She always had an answer to my questions and made me feel so at ease. My wedding was absolutely stunning and went so smoothly. The staff was great to us and our guests. The food was so delicious; my husband and I still talk about the steak! We are hoping to come back for our anniversary and enjoy the resort even more! I will always recommend Oglebay for weddings! -

Oglebay Resort - Awesome in EVERY way!
Oglebay was so wonderful to work with! The ability to say that, though, is due 100% to Mrs. Ashley Dunlap. Myself and my new husband are from Wheeling, so Oglebay is LITERALLY in our backyard and a place we so often took for granted. However, when we visited Oglebay as a potential venue and met Ashley for the first time – she showed us Oglebay in a new light. It was so fun because Ashley was SO excited, and it made me SO excited to have someone like her on our team! It is really fun to be excited about your own wedding and then also get the opportunity to work with someone who is excited about your wedding, too. Ashley was literally ALWAYS there for us (I mean… she answered panicked 2am e-mails… who does that?! God bless her). Anything I asked about, she could do. When I was sick on wedding day and we needed to make game-day adjustments, Ashley did it. When there were several vendors with several needs that I could not keep straight myself, Ashley did it. When I had ANY question, Ashley had the answer. When wedding day was hot and we needed water, Ashley was there in 2 minutes with a cooler. When we planned a wedding during COVID and felt like we were lone soldiers on a huge island, Ashley was beside us (with her cute mask on). Also, Oglebay is pretty dang awesome, too! The food was incredible. They work internally with a bunch of different vendors so you do not have to. The venue was GORGEOUS. The grounds’ flowers were immaculate. They were so flexible with the COVID insanity and allowed us to postpone to a later date with no financial penalty. From what I am hearing from other “COVID brides,” this is a pretty amazing thing. My wedding day at Oglebay was PERFECT. From start to finish, it was simply a dream. If you are considering Oglebay for your wedding venue, I cannot encourage this decision enough. You will not regret it! -

An amazing venue!
We has such an amazing wedding at Oglebay. They are very thorough with all the details and super responsive! We had our ceremony and reception in Glessner, it was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The person who was supposed to help direct the wedding ended up having a family emergency the morning of and Oglebay got another wedding coordinator in very quickly and made everything worry free. There was a mix up on some extra plates of food that they were very happy to fix as well. Couldn't ask for much more!! -

Amazing- would highly recommend
I cannot speak highly enough about Ashley Dunlap and her team at Oglebay. We had an amazing experience. From our first meeting to day of details. Ashley is professional, creative and thoughtful. She thought through every detail of our day, including making sure we as the bride and groom got a chance to eat. Our experience was amazing and we didn’t have a thing to worry about on the day of- except having a good time. Ashley coordinated with all of our vendors, was prompt in answering all of our questions and made sure the day ran smoothly for us and our guests. The venue was beautiful. The food was so good and our guests are still talking about our almond and raspberry cake. We loved our experience. Would highly recommend. -

Perfect Wedding
Glessner Ballroom at Oglebay was a beautiful place for our wedding! Ashley is an incredible wedding coordinator. She ensured everything we wanted was done to perfection. She is very personable and quickly responded to every inquiry. The appetizers, dinner, and cake were all delicious. We had great service and the employees were friendly. Everything went extremely smoothly. Our guests had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful resort. We truly had the wedding of our dreams at Oglebay. -

Everything we wanted!
Oglebay was perfect! We looked at venues all over Pittsburgh including Seven Springs which is a similar resort the venue, Oglebay was the last place we looked and our favorite. The atmosphere was both laid back and classy at the same time, all of our guests were comfortable and had a great time! The staff went above and beyond to make our day run smooth and helped with small things that we forgot. They were extremely accommodating and organized. Ashley, our planner was on top of everything and made sure we answered all of the questions we needed to in order to make our day run smoothly.
We had a welcome event in the Fort Henry room, our ceremony on the west spa patio and our reception in the banquet hall, all were perfect. We also planned a backup room for rain but did not have to make the decision till the day of the ceremony. After the reception the glassworks bar was right next to the reception hall and those that wanted to keep the party going went there. The new BBQ and craft beer restaurant at the driving range is a great place to hang out. Since we had our wedding on Sunday of Memorial day weekend many of our guests stayed 3 nights and enjoyed all of the weekends events and all of the amenities of the resort.
We stayed in a cottage which was very nicely updated and were greeted by several deer outside our door every morning.
Advice: we choose to leave our room block open to all levels of room including the value rooms so our guests could match their budget, if you want your guests to stay in more updated rooms you can pick what levels of room are in the block.
Overall we highly recommend Oglebay! -

My daughter had her wedding at the Formal Gardens and her reception at Camp Russell in August. Ashley Dunlap, the wedding specialist, was amazing. Her response to our questions was always accurate and immediate. Many of our guests traveled from places all over the US and they all raved about the beauty of the wedding site and their
accommodations at Wilson Lodge and the cabins. Thank you so much for making the wedding a wonderful event.

Oglebay was very accommodating and eager to make sure our event was perfect, but it would not have been the same without our wonderful event coordinator, Lori. She left no stone unturned. Great location, great food, and great staff. Lori was very thorough and made sure all of our requests were incorporated into the event. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and having a great time. We can't thank her enough!Oglebay Resort's reply:
Thank you so very much and we will be sure to let Lori know all of you kind words. -

It has always been a dream of mine to have my wedding and reception at Oglebay. I visit there every summer with my entire dad's side of the family and we have been continuing this tradition for 30 years. Oglebay made my dreams come true and my wedding was a wonderful memory that I will have forever. They accomodated all of my wedding wishes and we felt that it was extremely affordable. -

I was married in the mansion gardens. olgebay provided the seating. i didn't have to decorate anything because of the amazing flower gardens already in bloom. i also did not have to worry about tearing down the seating. slots are rented in two hour increments. be careful because renting the gardens does not give you exclusive rights for pictures on the grounds. Guaranteed beautiful pictures on the mansion grounds. stone walkways and flower gardens make an amazing backdrop. -

We rented out the amphitheater and gardens for our wedding ceremony. There are a few things about this venue that you need to know goingin- 1) you have to book early ( I would at least suggest a year in advance if not more) because it is very popular, 2) you have to be in and out in 2 hours (they may have 6 weddings that same day at the same place so you only have a 2 hour period) and 3) if it rains, they do not have a back-up plan (you must arrange your own back-up plan- we did ours in a church). But, the venue is beautiful. They have flowers all around, and the amphitheater fits about 500 people I think. But, it is only about $350 to rent which is an amazing price. The area also has great places to take pictures, such as the Oglebay Mansion, courtyards and flowering areas all over. Oglebay also arranged our transporation - a trolley that fits about 30 people. The trolley came and picked us up from the cabins in the resort, bridesmaids and groosmen (and me and the groom) separately. It also took each group down to the church, which was about 20 minutes away. Then it took the entire wedding party back to take pictures at Oglebay and then to the reception - all for less than $400 for about 3 hours! It rained the day of our wedding, and I am disappointed we didn't get to have our ceremony in the amphitheater. It would have been like a fairytale. But, for those brides who want to book the amphitheater, buy a dress with a train. It will look gorgeous when you walk down all those stairs. -

Oglebay Resort/Park is absolutely beautiful with options available for a multitude of tastes/budgets and they have a very professional staff. However, their staff is occasionally (not always) difficult to get in contact with/get answers from. Their flexibility is quite limited because a lot of people use it as a venue for different events and they are rigid on times/procedures. As for value, it all depends on what you want. If you are looking for a pavilion, they have beautiful pavilions at reasonable prices. If you want an indoor room or a ceremony location or catering, they can accommodate you, but it is not inexpensive. -

My wedding was in August of 2011 and I had my reception here. Olgebay is a beautiful place to hold a wedding reception, all of their rooms are beautiful. Everyone was very professional and communication was decent, I heard back within a day or 2 once I left a voice mail or an email. We did run into a couple bumps tho, Olgebay does not allow you to stay at their resort for only 1 night if it is on Friday-Sunday. There is a 2 night stay minium. Did not know that until my guest told me they tried to reserve a room. Olgebay did kind of work with us on this issue, when it hit 30 days before the wedding and there were still lots of open rooms left they changed that. Another bump we had was the day of the wedding, because there were 3 weddings going on the same day as mine there the kitchen got a bit backed up, 45 mins late on dinner, as well as all of my guest got the wrong chicken. I ordered cheddar stuffed chicken (delicious!) but instead my guests got some rice and veggie stuffed chicken. Still good, not as good as what I picked and not what I picked. Also my cake was wrong, they had the wrong color on the cake and the wrong icing. Still don't understand how that happens, but the design was beautiful. The only credit they gave us was for the cake. During cocktail hour there was no bottle opener, when me and the bridal party arrived I realized this and asked the server to go get one and put it behind the bar for the beer that I had selected. I also was short 4 chair covers, the wedding planner calls my mother 10 mins before we get on the trolly to go to the church to inform her of this, we tell her to go over our name cards that were out in the hallway by the room and see which tables had empty chairs, take the covers off of those chairs and remove the chairs from the tables. She did not do thi and instead when I arrived there were chair covers missing from 4 chairs at the bridal table, luckly noone could see but I would have liked to have sat on hte chair cover that my parents did buy. For Olgebay to be a resort and as big as it is in Wheeling WV I did expect less mistakes from them, I was prepared for a couple things to go wrong during the wedding day, which every bride knows happens, but not all of my mistakes to be because of the reception. The actual servers were awesome, really nice, and tried to work with me as much as they could. The mistakes were out of their hands and not their fault. The wedding planner there and the kitchen is what messed things up. -

Oglebay was a beautiful place to have our reception - we were in the Glessner Auditorium, which we chose because we wanted a large ballroom for dancing. The venue was stunning, especially after the decorator had his way with it. We also used Oglebay's catering, and the food was excellent and served right on time.
The wedding coordinator I worked with was not extremely helpful, though. There were a few occasions where she would suddenly request information she needed immediately, without warning me in advance that there was a deadline on that particular decision. Also, she almost never had pricing information available when I spoke to her - she would constantly promise to find out the answers and get back to me, but she never did. (An example: I asked several times if there was a discount on the bar price if we had just beer and wine, without liquor. It took ages to get a real response.) This was a little bit stressful, but everything came together. I think I could have had a better experience if I were a bit more organized and asked her directly and regularly for all the options and deadlines.
There was also an issue when we got to the venue - the decorator wasn't being allowed to do some work that had been previously agreed upon by both parties. I wasn't involved, but I understand that my father-in-law had to ask to see the coordinator's manager before he could get a straight answer on how/when/if the problem could be resolved. The manager, though, was lovely and straightforward.
Overall, I definitely recommend the venue. Just don't expect the staff to do much of the planning for you. -

The venue was gorgeous! Perfect for my outdoor fall wedding! However it was a bit pricey and they did not have any accomodations for a reheasal. I had to keep calling to check to see if the space would be available up to TWO WEEKS before our wedding day. I uderstand that this is a business and the bottom line is to make a profit. I would just expect a resort that holds hundreds of weddings year after year to have some kind of plan for something as common and expected as a REHEARSAL. Luckily we were able to rehearse at the site the day before but It was EXTREMLY stressful not having a plan finalized until two weeks before the big day..........Back to the positive... The banquet sales associates were VERY helpful and always willing to answer any questions. They were willing to help in any way they could. That is really appreciated. Thank you!! -

My wife's family all have strong ties to Oblebay Resort, as most of them have worked at the park at some point in their past. Our ceremony was in the formal gardens, and the park did a good job of making the site look great for the wedding. The reception was in the banquet view room and this provide enough room to seat 170 guests and have a 20x20 dance floor with room to spare. The park can be a little expensive if your not getting family discounts but it can be worth it as they provide many services with the wedding packages. The only problem we had was the wedding cordinater the park provides quit right before our wedding and we never even saw the replacement cordinator during the wedding. Everything went smoothly and we didn't have a need for one in the end so it worked out well. -

Oglebay is picture perfect. The food was good & people did rave over it. I felt the banquet serving staff was on top of things. The cake was not that good & you have very limited choices in flavor & icing so just spend the extra $250 (then another cake cutting fee) to get an outside vendor cake. I wish decorating & wedding coordinator would have offered more suggestions rather than the very typical response, "it's your wedding- it's what you want." They charge for every little item they put out & it can get costly. Overall, you talk to the coordinator mostly about food, liquor & room setup & you're on your own. I was embarrassed by the quality of rooms for the cheapest 2 suites... small beds, super old & looks dirty. They need to do updating- they charge a lot of those rooms for them not to be up to par.
Our families enjoyed Oglebay (except the zoo was lame) for the weekend & everyone had fun.

Beautiful Venue but Personnel leaves you wanting
We had our daughters weeding there September 2019. Beautiful facility and grounds. Unfortunately, the competence of the director of wedding planning left a lot to be desired. We booked the wedding a year prior, Sept 2018, with the director stating we wanted the West Spa patio for the ceremony but we needed to know the timing of other events for that site. Christmas week we received a call from a second wedding planner that we haven't picked a ceremony site, which one do we want, West Spa was not longer available after 4:00. SO they never put it in the books, but no one would accept the blame. We had to work around another ceremony and were very rushed to have the ceremony and pictures. Then at the end June 2019, we were informed that the chalet that was booked and paid for in full was no longer available for the wedding weekend, there closing it for renovation. That was where rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were supposed to be! We then were told we were also lost our wedding planner at the end of July, due to her husbands job change. Not her fault, and we were assigned a third planner. The third planner was fine, she got thrown in at the last minute. Then come the wedding day. Everything was great, weather, etc. We had selected the Chicken Marsala and Sirloin of Beef for the reception. The tasting for these was wonderful. The Marsala was fantastic. At the reception, the Marsala was nothing more than over baked breaded chicken, no mushrooms and no Marsala sauce. The Sirloin I was told was good but the vegetables were very skimpy. I told our planner that night during the reception of our disappointment that this was not how it was presented to us during the tasting. I followed up with a letter the next night stating the disappointment and asking for some compensation, which she forwarded to the the powers that be.. Of course response to no. My daughter and husband had a blast, loved everything, and are happily wed. My advise to you, use an outside planner for this venue, it is beautiful, but the personnel in certain areas need major help.Oglebay Resort's reply:
We are sorry you experienced any inconvenience during the wedding planning process. We pride ourselves on customer service and creating the best day ever for our brides and grooms. We are thrilled to hear that the bride and groom had an amazing wedding day. We understand the inconvenience, so we would like to offer the bride and groom a complementary night stay with breakfast, during their anniversary month.
Thank you for choosing Oglebay for your special event! -

They are not very organized. You have to go through tons of people in the beginning to get any answers and then later find out that the answers you recieved were in correct. Make sure to get everything in writing! -

So many little problems that really added up
This is going to be a long rant about our issues with having our wedding at Oglebay. There were so many little things that were very poorly managed. A couple little things would have been no big deal. But, we were very disappointed with Oglebay's performance by the end.
Oglebay has several halls within the park. The one we rented was Camp Russell. It's a rustic, secluded hall in the corner of the park that includes both an indoor hall with a fully equipped kitchen as well as an outdoor covered shelter. The price of Camp Russell was around $2100-$2200 for Saturday, and then we could add on Friday as well for an additional $500-$600. Our total cost was around $2700. Camp Russell has its pros and cons. Unlike most of Oglebay's halls, you are not required to use Oglebay's catering or bartenders if you rent Camp Russell. In fact, there are no Oglebay staff members there at all and you are given free run of the place.
Now for the issues:
double booking - About a year before our wedding, we originally booked the venue for October 14-15 2022, paid the first deposit, etc. It wasn't until a few weeks later that Oglebay's wedding coordinator, Ashley, got back to us and let us know that the venue had already been booked by another party for that weekend about 6 months prior to us booking is. Fortunately, she let us know before we had already gotten our invitations printed; and also fortunately, our other vendors were flexible enough with their schedules that we were able to push our wedding date back a few weeks.
Bait and Switch on pricing for lights - When we first looked at the venue, they had these beautiful strings of lights strung up inside the hall. It was only about 10 strings of lights, but they really added to the place. We asked the wedding coordinator, Ashley, what the story was with the lights: are they always up, are they part of the venue, how does this whole thing work? Ashley proceeds to tell us that the lights are usually up inside the hall, but not always. She tells us that we may just want to call up a few weeks before the wedding to see if they're up and that if they're not, there might be a small $20-$30 fee to have someone put them back up. That all sounded great to us because these lights really did look great. Fast forward until less than a month before the wedding. We come to find out that having the park put up these 10 stings of lights is not $20-$30 like we were told. It's actually $900 for the "ceiling treatment". That was beyond absurd and so we bought our own lights on Amazon, brought and extension ladder, and put up our own lights.
Complete lack of communication - About halfway between booking the hall and the wedding date, my wife tried repeatedly to reach out to the wedding coordinator, Ashley, to touch base and make sure everything was in order. The voicemails and emails sent to Ashley went unanswered for over a month. My wife was finally able to get in touch with a manager who informed us that Ashley was no longer employed with the park. So, apparently, the park didn't think it was necessary to reach out to any of Ashley's clients to let them know they'd have a new point of contact or anything like that and it was fine to just leave everyone in the dark.
Oglebay using Camp Russell for storage - When we arrived at Camp Russell the day before our wedding to decorate and set up, we came to discover that despite us specifically renting the venue to have an outdoor wedding, Oglebay park had no problem with packing the outdoor shelter to the brim with large, heavy picnic tables. They were packed in there end-to-end and were clearly there to be stored for the winter. So, we had to spend a decent chunk of time and energy moving all of these things out of the way. There was also a large Oglebay truck with a flatbed parked across several of our parking spaces, but I'll get back to that one later.
cleanliness - There's one thing for a facility to be "rustic", but it's another thing entirely to be "filthy". Camp Russell was filthy when we arrived. Most of the tables were sticky. The floors had a layer of grime that we had to scrub off. Windows had bird crap splattered on them. There were cobwebs in the corners. Oglebay had told us that there wouldn't be any park employees at the hall for our event, but I guess that means no Oglebay staff ever cleans between events either.
Oglebay using Camp Russell for storage (again) - Before arriving at Camp Russell for the day of the wedding(the 2nd day we had booked), I stopped by the main desk of Wilson Lodge to ask that they have someone come out to move the large truck and flatbed that I mentioned earlier as we would be needing those several parking spaces for our guests. I also asked that they drop off some paper towels to Camp Russell for the dispensers in the restrooms as one was totally empty and the other was nearly empty. The lady at the desk I spoke to said that she would have someone come out to take care of this. Neither of these things ever ended up happening. Nobody ever moved the truck and the simple request of restocking the paper towel dispensers was apparently also too much to handle. But, it gets better. While I'm waiting outside of Camp Russell for someone to come unlock the door for us(they were half an hour late unlocking), an Oglebay van pulls up and backs up to the kitchen door. This van was full of frozen turkeys that they were coming to store inside of Camp Russell's freezer, the freezer that is part of what we rented. I argued with the guy(who had no idea beforehand that there was a wedding there that day). But, apparently there was nowhere else he could put these turkeys. I find it hard to believe that there was no other freezer in the park that hadn't already been paid for by guests. So, we lost about a third of the walk-in freezer space that we paid for.
Overall, the mismanagement of this place left so much to be desired. Add to that how much the prices have gone up since my sister had her wedding at Oglebay 8 years ago and I will never recommend anybody host a function at the park again. -

Horrible Communication
Such a beautiful venue, but everything that could go wrong with my wedding did go wrong. We had been changed through 3 different wedding coordinators by the time my wedding day came around, there was horrible communication, and so many things went wrong on the day of the wedding. Our seating chart that we agreed upon was not followed, so there were not enough seats at each table, the items we requested for our ceremony were not placed there and we had to work to find replacements last minute, and the bar staff were extremely rude. My family was setting up our cocktail hour and not only did they not set up the extra seating, but they also told my mother that the games she was setting up for our cocktail hour were worthless and that she shouldn't put them out. In addition, there was not even enough supplies for our specialty cocktails we ordered. Many of our vendors even commented on the disorganization of the venue staff. We were supposed to be assigned a day of coordinator, but we never once saw her on the wedding day. They didn’t even put out the wine glasses or cake cutting knife they stated that they would provide.
Communication between my vendors and the staff at Oglebay was horrendous, and we were unable to get ahold of anyone about final costs of the wedding until the week of, so we were scrambling to pay everything off. They include tons of hidden fees and not upfront about costs. Unless you are going through their catering and spending $10,000+, don't expect them to pay your wedding any mind. They created so much unnecessary stress for an already stressful day. -
