Do not hesitate to hire the Ocean Avenue Stompers for your wedding!! We are from New Orleans and wanted a brass band for our Asbury Park wedding and wow did they deliver! Not only as a brass band for our Second Line Parade to the boardwalk after our ceremony, but as a DJ for our ceremony with live instruments, and as a full band with the most amazing repertoire for our reception. Everyone danced the entire time! And the planning with the band leader Ian was so fun! We discussed all our song ideas and he threw in his and the outcome was absolutely incredible. Hire them--it will be the best decision you ever made! -

The Ocean Ave Stompers are the most professional and talented wedding band. You need them at your wedding.
I’ve been seeing the Ocean Ave Stompers play in Asbury Park for years and they always put on the most incredible show, so I knew they had to play mine and my husbands wedding in the Catskills. We met with Ian a few times before the wedding to discuss what we were looking for and we immediately knew we made the right decision. They put on the most incredible show at our wedding. You can’t compare them to any other “wedding band”. They are authentic and played music that we loved, and that you would never normally hear at a wedding. Bruce, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Ginuwine, Looking Glass, Garth Brooks (Which is exactly what we wanted.) Every 120 of our guests were on the dance floor all night. Not only did the band set the mood for the night, but Ian did such a good job MCing the wedding. He was so genuine and did a great job remembering all of the small details about our friends and family. The sound during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was so clear and there was not one issue with sound the whole night. THANK YOU IAN AND THE OCEAN AVE STOMPERS FOR THE BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES. WE LOVE YOU. -

The BEST wedding band
The stompers are a fantastic band and Ian was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them without any hesitation. They put out a great vibe, know how to read the room and keep the party going! Two years later and guests are still talking about the band and how much fun our wedding was as well as inquiring about them for their next event. -

Ian and his team always go above and beyond! We had a wedding during Covid so we had just 15 people and we surprised our guests with the ocean Ave stompers! It was the cherry on top of amazing evening. Ian also puts together an amazing full band! We attended a friends wedding and it was the best band we have ever heard! -

We had the BEST time with the Ocean Avenue Stompers at our wedding. We got married during COVID and were really limited on how we could celebrate, how/what music we placed, and dancing indoors was totally off limits. The Ocean Avenue stompers surprised everyone at the wedding played a set for us outside on the boardwalk (we got married by the beach). One of the most memorable parts of our wedding was dancing on the boardwalk with my hubby and close friends and family while the Stompers played. Ian was so easy to work with the the group really made our wedding so special! Don't hesitate to hire them for your big day! -
