My dream bridal look!
When I started looking for someone to do my wedding day makeup, I knew that I wanted a natural look with just enough of a special touch for my big day. I don’t typically wear much makeup, so it was important for me to still look like myself. I am so grateful I connected with Dede because she was the perfect fit!
My skin looked flawless, yet the makeup felt light and let my natural complexion shine through. During my trial, we initially tried a beige-gold eye shadow, but I decided I wanted something a bit rosier with more shimmer for the wedding day. Dede worked with me to find the perfect shade, and I truly felt like the best version of myself — I didn’t want to take my makeup off at the end of the night!
She is a pro; she also did makeup for my mom, my maid of honor, and five bridesmaids and was incredibly efficient. Even my wedding coordinator mentioned how we stayed ahead of schedule basically all day. Everyone loved their look and said the same thing: they felt glamorous but still like themselves.
I was also grateful that Dede knows how to handle New York summers. Despite all of our photos, our ceremony and our cocktail hour all being outdoors in the middle of June, my makeup still looked perfect by the end of the night.
I can’t recommend Dede highly enough, especially if, like me, you’re worried about finding someone who won’t be too heavy-handed. I can't wait to work with her again for future events!

Dede Did An Amazing Job!
My husband and I hosted a renewal of vows ceremony in New York and I contacted Dede fairly last minute to see if she could come to our AirBnB to do my makeup. She was responsive, communicative, flexible, and created exactly the look I wanted. Her rate was also very affordable. I am in my 40s and wanted something a bit smoky that would look good on an older face and I was very happy with the results. I've never felt more beautiful!
I've known Dede since she did my makeup for my sister's wedding in 2018. When I got engaged and was looking for my vendors, I knew I wanted her to do my makeup for my wedding as well. We did trials, she took feedback like a champ, she made great suggestions, and ultimately my wedding makeup looked INCREDIBLE. I felt like myself, just more beautiful than ever. It also stayed on all night and looked so so good in every single photo. I would recommend her to everyone and anyone. She also did my cousin, sister, and mom's makeup for my wedding and they looked absolutely stunning.

Flawless experience with NY Artistry
I used NY Artistry for my wedding day and Dede was absolutely amazing! We weren’t able to do a trial beforehand however, the morning of the wedding she listened, took her time and absolutely perfected the look I wanted. She is truly talented. From someone who is usually afraid of make up
Dede did my make up (on her birthday!) at a friend’s wedding a few years ago. I wasn’t even engaged yet but knew when I got married I would want Dede for my wedding. One of the first vendors I booked, she was responsive, patient and helpful from the start. I’m not a big make up girl, like actually terrified of looking too made up, and Dede made me feel heard and understood. I felt like I could fully trust her. Some of my bridesmaids had a similar approach to their make up, and some were down for full glam. Dede handled it all and everyone of us felt so beautiful! Cannot recommend her enough ❤️

Dede was absolutely wonderful!! I wasn't able to do a trial because I'm not local, but we had a quick FaceTime call the week or so before the wedding, and I went into the day feeling confident that I was in good hands. Dede gave me the natural but elevated look I wanted, and I felt so pretty all day! The airbrush felt like literally nothing was on my skin, which was great because I don't typically wear face makeup, and all the makeup still looked perfect after 5 hours of dancing and humid June weather. Dede is fantastic at what she does and I'm so glad I worked with her!

Dede is the best!! After postponing my original wedding date she made sure to be there for my second date!! After already waking up at 4:45 am that morning for another wedding, she made it to my venue before 9 and was ready to GO. Dede and her team at NY Artistry were amazing! Her work is incredible. My makeup was beautiful and lasted all night. I got married in NYC on a 100 degree day in August (sooo humid as well) and my makeup did not budge. My entire bridal party looked beautiful and all of my bridesmaids said it was the best makeup they had ever had done. I cannot say enough great things about Dede. From the minute I emailed her asking a thousand questions about her services, she responded right away and answered all my questions in detail until the day of my wedding. She listened to exactly what my wife and I wanted. We both don't wear a ton of makeup on the daily. In fact, my wife never wears makeup, so she was super nervous to even get makeup done at all. I booked Dede because of all the reviews about her "natural look style" and she definitely lived up to that. We were both extremely happy and so were all of our bridesmaids. She was also super quick, calm, and collected the day of. I would hire her in a heartbeat for any other event I need makeup for. One of our good friends worked with Dede for her wedding and highly recommended her. After Dede did a "trial" for me for our engagement party, I knew we made the right choice. Dede is a master of her craft and knows the best colors and makeup types to use for skin and personal preferences of all kinds. She was super quick too; our party included 12 people total and she took no more than 30 minutes per person! Dede and her team did an amazing job complementing our girls' natural beauty, and I was so happy with the fact that my makeup enhanced my look but wasn't overpowering at all. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and I love that in my photos, I really look like me. My girls felt the same way, many of which don't like makeup at all and Dede did a wonderful job making them all very happy with their looks too. Anyone can do their own makeup, the challenge comes with doing somebody elses in a way that suits them and also makes them feel confident and comfortable. Where do I begin?! Dede is truly an artist. I got married 1/11/19 and one of the best decisions I made was hiring her to do my makeup. She transformed me into a knockout for my wedding day, making me feel truly confident and beautiful! She is so talented, accommodating, professional and a joy to spend time with. Where do I begin? Dede is amazing and so talented. I knew before I was even engaged that I wanted Dede to do my make up when the time finally came… And she did not disappoint! Dede understood what my vision was and was able to execute it perfectly. My make up lasted all day and all night, and I was not over done but I looked like my best possible self! My husband loved it too and that says a lot because he hates makeup! Dede also did a fantastic job with all my girls and made them feel special and absolutely beautiful. Dede has a gift that cannot be compared. Thank you Dede for everything!!

Dee was awesome to work with and I’m not only talking about day of. I was worried about picking a makeup artist because I have sensitive eyes and no longer wear makeup. I researched and called countless makeup artists and I really liked her work after seeing her page on Instagram as well as the job she did on one of my coworkers on her wedding day. Prior to my big day, Dee went above and beyond to recommend, prepurchase products and put me at ease with solutions of how best to make me feel comfortable . I was so happy she was free on my wedding day and willing to be so helpful!

Dede is AMAZING. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She gets exactly what you are looking for when you describe your style and is able to work her magic to bring out your best features. My make-up lasted my entire wedding and looked as good as it did when she first did it, which was no easy feat for a humid August day. She is so, so talented at what she does. Dede is also extremely professional- she is very prompt with email replies and keeps things organized, which is a huge help to a bride planning a wedding. Simply put, she is the best and my wedding day would not have been the same without her!

I knew Dede was the makeup artist I wanted to use for my wedding from even before my trial for my engagement session after seeing her previous work. She is personable, patient, and incredibly easy to work with. I am still receiving compliments on how amazing my makeup looked at my wedding! I had a large bridal party (13 girls plus myself, MOB, and my brother's girlfriend). Everyone looked stunning and we were all done with plenty of time to hang out before the photographer arrived. I am so glad I choose Dede (NyArtistry) to work with for my wedding day. I recommend her to anyone!

I contacted Dede only about 3 weeks before my wedding after having a trial by someone else that I was unhappy with. Dede emailed me back right away and fit me in for a trial. I have known Dede for a very long time and have seen her work. She is just incredible. If you want your makeup to look amazing, she is the one to do it! My makeup for my wedding was stunning. She also did an amazing job on the other girls in my party and made everything look their best. The airbrush makeup stayed on all day and i hardly neede a touch up. Also, her prices werr very reasonable especially considering she comes to where you are getting ready and gives you our lipstick or gloss for the day which you get o keep. I would absolutely highly recommend and use her again!

One word to describe Dede is amazing!!! She was extremely professional and patient. Dede did my makeup, seven bridesmaids and two mothers. Each person's makeup was flawless. I love how she was able to stay true to each person's individual beauty. My makeup held throughout the day and even looked good the next morning! Now that really is true talent! I chose Dede to do the make-up for my recent wedding in September 2013. She did my make-up, as well as the 2 mothers and my maid of honor. We were all incredibly impressed with the quality of service that we received and really enjoyed spending time with her! Since the very beginning when my mother and I went for our make-up trials, Dede has been nothing short of helpful, responsive, flexible, and accommodating. When our wedding day schedule changed several times leading up to the day, Dede was very willing to be flexible and happily worked with us to find a new schedule that suited us. As a make-up artist, she is quite talented and really understands the look that you're hoping to achieve (even if you have a hard time putting it into words!). All in all, she's fantastic and I would work with her again if given the opportunity!

On Sep 14th Dede did my makeup for my wedding day ! As well as my moms( Mother of the Bride) & all 6 of my bridesmaids all herself! I cannot begin to describe how AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS I felt on my wedding day. My makeup came out flawless and lasted the whole day /next day ! Airbrush makeup really makes such a difference and my eyelashes just gave me that extra enhanced look. Dede is honestly the most talented makeup artist I have ever met. Her calm presences makes a potentially crazy morning feel very relaxed and easy. She really listened to what all the girls, myself and my mom wanted and made it happen. The girls & my mom RAVED about Dede and how their makeup came out. Dede YOU ROCK !!!! Thank you for making me feel like a million bucks on my wedding day. Dede did an amazing job on my bridal makeup and all of my bridesmaids. My "face" stayed put for a long day and everyone commented on how gorgeous we all looked! She did a great job too keeping the makeup appropriate to age...my thirteen year old junior bridesmaids looked gorgeous and age-appropriate!

I found Dede online and was immediately drawn to her once I saw how beautiful all her clients looked in their wedding pictures. I am so happy I chose her as one of my vendors. Dede did two trials for me since I was a little unsure of the look I was going for. She was always available trough text and email and very flexible with times. The day of my wedding she was on time and ready to go. Each and every one of my bridesmaids including my mother were so happy with their makeup!!! Dede saved me for last and I couldn't be happier with how my makeup came out. I felt so beautiful that day. I would recommend her to all my friends and family!!

Dede was awesome!!! The morning of my wedding was one of my favorite parts of the day and Dede played a big part in that. She has such a relaxing, fun, and easy going personality, which put everyone at ease. We were all laughing and having a great time. Everyone absolutely loved her and their make-up. Definitely do the airbrush because my make up lasted all day, and my lashes didn't come off until the next morning!! From the trial to the wedding day D was always professional, timely, and an amazing make-up artist. She was recommended to me, and I'm so grateful for her part in making my day so memorable.

Dede did an amazing job!! My sister in law had used her for wedding which is when i met her. Loved her work, so it was easy deciding on a professional for my big day. My make-up came out beautiful along with my eight bridesmaids and my mom. My make-up lasted though out the day. I never felt more beautiful and flawless. She traveled out to my house the morning of my wedding which made it easy to relax getting ready in my own environment. Very professional and talented, also great person. I loved everything about Dede! She was so talented, professional, and really helped make my wedding a very special day. She did my makeup (bride), my moms, and two bridemaids. I booked Dede with less than a month to my wedding. My original makeup artist didnt work out there was so much miscommunications between her boss, her and myself that I just got fustrated and looked elsewhere. Dede was attentive from the very first email we exchanged. She came that week to my house for a trial and from that moment on I knew I made the best choice but going with Dede. She responded to my emails right away and she was always accomidating. The day of the wedding she was super awesome. Even my hairdresser couldnt believe how great she was and how great she was to work with her. Everyone loved their makeup and the price was def very reasonable. If I ever need my makeup done again I wouldnt hesitate to contact Dede in the future. She did exactly what I wanted and I couldnt have felt more gorgeous the day of then I did.

Dede of NY Artistry was AMAZING! After my trial, I felt fully confident that she would make me look like a princess on my wedding day: and she did! The make up lasted all day and ALL night with very minimal touch ups (lipstick, eye brow). My skin looked flawless and my eyes "popped" so nicely for my princess day :)
Everyone complimented my make up and I was so pleased with it. She was on time, professional, and really just a wonderful person who added such perfection to our amazing day.
I would FULLY recommend her any time, any day, to anyone!
