Still our favorite venue

SAHC is a beautiful location. It poured the day of our wedding so we were unable to utilize the firepit or get married under the magnificent tree, but it was still a wonderful experience. SAHC was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process, including assisting in securing a tent at the last minute so we could still get married outside on the pavilion. And we got so many compliments on all the flowers SACH has planted around the pavilion! While there might be a few things we would tweak about our wedding, we wouldn't have changed the venue.

Beautiful spot for a wedding!

We had our wedding ceremony at SAHC on May 1st, 2022. It was the most beautiful spot! We got married in the fresh air, surrounded by beautiful views of the surrounding fields and mountains. We feel so lucky to have been married in such a breathtaking, beautiful, peaceful place. Kirin was very helpful and flexible in the planning process. She made the whole experience effortless. It was also great to know that by having our wedding at SAHC we were helping to support the conservation of this beautiful area.

Best Day Ever!

Thank you SAHC for making our wedding day so incredible. A HUGE thank you to Kirin Battaglia, who was the glue keeping it (and me) together! She helped coordinate and arrange so much (flowers, food, rentals) in advance and on the day of the wedding, she was an absolute ROCKSTAR. She helped my husband and I, as well as our 48 closest friends and family, ensure that everything moved smoothly and that we could have the best day ever. The venue was gorgeous and special, the food was delicious, flowers were magical, and everything about our day was just perfect. Thank you all so much!

Best Day Ever

Oh wow I don’t think I have enough words to talk about how much I loved this place. The views made my heart sing. Kirin and Amanda with black orchid events were so helpful and kind and made this process very easy (and weddings aren’t easy at all!) Booking my wedding here was the best decision I could have made. The farmhouse on the property was beautiful and so cozy and comfortable it was the perfect place to relax when the event was over.

Flexible, customizable and beautiful

Kirin and the SAHC were wonderful. When we found out that the money for the event would go towards conservation, we were sold- just hoping the price would fit our budget. Even through lengthy email chains of questions and clarifications, Kirin was patient and flexible. We were able to customize a package to fit to our small, short morning wedding, taking the elopement package of 2 hours and adding on 2 additional hours. The number of additional guests outside the range for elopements was customizable as well. Two days before the wedding, we did a walk though and noted a few needed changes which were all addressed. The venue is beautiful with the gardens, view and the 200 year old tree. It is well maintained and with all of the amenities we needed, including chairs, tables, food truck hookup and some decorations. The SAHC was perfect for us in every way, highly recommend!

Beautiful spot with a wonderful team to help with your event!

We have not yet had our ceremony here as we had to delay our wedding from May for obvious reasons! But we have loved working with SAHC to plan our event - it was the first venue we toured and we knew immediately that it was where we wanted to get married. The views are outstanding and it has the necessary amenities without feeling "manufactured" - plus it helps support a great cause! The team has been incredibly accommodating and supportive as we navigate wedding planning during a pandemic and we are so grateful for their understanding. We can't wait to get married there in September!

Everything We're Looking For

The SAHC Community Farm and the team there have been nothing but amazing. Not only does it have everything you would need at a reasonable price with scenic views, but the team has been SO ACCOMODATING. After having to find a new venue on short notice, SAHC was the first to respond with such compassion. THEN, COVID-19 hit, and while our original date was in August 2020, we felt it was best to move the date to 2021 and SAHC made that decision making so easy for us to switch. Truly, we cannot wait to get married there and feel so thankful to have Lauren and her team helping us make this event a success. We are currently planning our wedding out of state, so I truly cannot emphasize how easy communication has been.

Ps. The money helps fund educational programs at SAHC!

Breathtaking ‼️

What a incredible space!!! I catered my first event there last year and I must say it was breath taken and I'm not just talking about the food from the Flavor Kings, Cooking With Comedy Catering but the atmosphere as a whole! Let us make your Wedding / Event a lifetime of memories.

Great venue - great cause

The SAHC was the perfect venue for our low key microwedding. We wanted a venue that could accommodate an all outdoor ceremony and reception (to minimize COVID risk), that would be easily accessible for our guests, was dog friendly, and still feel connected to the natural landscape. This place checked all the boxes! Holding our wedding here also gave us the opportunity to support an organization that aligns with our values and contributes to local land conservation. The elopement package allowed us to customize exactly what we needed. Kirin was very kind and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.

We used the SAHC community farm space to host a gathering of foresters and natural resource professionals for 2.5 days. The views were stunning, the parking was accommodating, and we were able to utilize the outdoor space to our advantage to create a covid-safe event. The use of the kitchen was great! Only qualms were: less chairs provided than expected (we thought there were going to be at least 55, but there were only 45) and the bluetooth speaker connection ended up not working well enough (likely from interference from all other phones etc).
