Gorgeous and fun pictures
The Nixon’s truly captured the best parts of our night. Being someone with no modeling or photography experience they came up with shots that they knew would look great. We started with a engagement session which they ask where we would like to take pictures or is there something special that they could incorporate really personalizing the experience and photos. For our endgame my session we waited until it snowed and then with a moments notice met them to take so amazing and fun photos! Nothing looked staged and they caught our genuine smiles. Our wedding celebration got postponed to 2021 because of COVID but we still had a small ceremony in 2020. The Nixon’s graciously took pictures at the small ceremony and then again at the big wedding for no extra charge! The Nixon’s are true professionals and you will not be disappointed in the pictures you receive. -

The Nixon's have this beautiful ability of taking your pictures to the next level. We met them while visiting our venue, Cadillac Service Garage and immediately knew that they had to be our photographers. Every email, phone call and request was met by going above and beyond. From our engagement photos which were used for our Save The Date and used in our wedding venue to our wedding photos, you remember that amazing day.. The Nixon's truly exude excellence and superb quality. -

The Nixons were more than just photographers, they were our greatest companions throughout the entire day...from start to finish. From bustling my dress to making sure we ate dinner, they were there for every second. It's hard to believe they spent so much of their time and energy making sure we enjoyed ourselves, and were still able to capture every moment so beautifully.
Not only do they love love, but they also know that wedding days can be full of mishaps, and sometimes you just need to adapt. When our best man was significantly late because he failed to pick up his tuxedo until 30 minutes prior to pictures, and then realized it was at a location 4 hours away, the Nixons quickly adjusted our timeline and kept this information behinds the scenes until all was settled.
They also have a way of knowing just what you need. Despite the mishap, we were ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. Instead of taking in more formal pictures, Beth suggested we take some down time to relax with our wedding party and family. I didn't realize it, but I needed this down time, emotionally and mentally, more than I could ever imagined (and of course, some pretty special, and candid pictures were taken during this time with the people that mean the most to us).
We could not be more grateful that the Nixons were a part of our special day! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! -

Incredible photographers
The Nixon’s were absolutely amazing! They were by far my favorite wedding vendor. My bridal and wedding portraits are flawless and they made me feel so comfortable it was like I had known the for a lifetime. I will use the Nixon’s for future portraits sessions and I’m not even a local! I will make the drive or pay them to come to me! They are that awesome! -

Justin and Beth are the best photography couple around! They are so welcoming and truly make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Beth did our engagement shoot, while Justin did my bridal portraits and wedding. Both of them are so creative when it comes to background, lighting, and poses. Justin will even get out on the dance floor and dance with all of your guests! They know what it takes to make you look good and how to keep the party going! The most important part to me was having someone who I didnt feel rushed around and someone who would tell my husband and I what to do in the photos, where to look, and most importantly what to do with our hands! I am so glad we choose the Nixons for our special day and I hope I get to work with them in the future for other photo opportunities! I will truly miss going into their office and relaxing on the couch, while I look at the amazing photos they have created. -

It has taken a while for me to write this, but let me tell you... The Nixons are freaking fantastic! They knocked it out of the park for our wedding photos. We were a little worried before the day of that they weren't very talkative, but get them in their element and they are firecrackers! We had such an amazing night with them and would pick them over and over again! -

Justin and Beth are talented, kind, and great at their job! My husband and I met Beth at an open house where my husband revealed that I stalked on Instagram and luckily Beth thought that was funny and great instead of as weird as it came across. Justin worked my wedding and he got more than he bargained for with my sisters. But, he rolled with it and seemed to have a blast with how crazy they are and their never ending comments. He was so fun and I love the pictures that my husband and I got. I want them to do any pictures for us for the rest of our lives. Would recommend them for anything to everyone. -

The Nixons were great to work with! We got married the weekend hurricane Florence was heading right towards us in North Carolina. They stuck right by us and helped make everything worked with our venue and the pictures despite all the chaos! They captured it all and the photos are beautiful!! -

You should absolutely book this photographer! From the moment we met Beth at our initial consultation we knew that these were the type of people that we wanted to be in charge of the most important part of our wedding. Planning each step of the way was a breeze from engagement photos, to picking out photos for our guest book, and the final look through of our wedding photos. Beth and Justin always have a smile on their face and are always ready to handle any situation (including help with bustles and suspenders!). Our engagement shoot was so much fun and they knew about all of these special places to shoot at that we never would have thought of! They showed up on time to the wedding and were there to shoot all of the important before photos (and they were very patient when the wedding party wasn't quite ready yet). It only took three weeks for us to get our wedding photos back which is almost unheard of! The photos were amazing! They were far better than we could have imagined even though we got to see a few sneak peeks while they were shooting! The Nixons don't just show up with one camera and a shooter-they showed up with two shooters, an intern, three cameras, and multiple lights and other tools that I can't begin to understand. I would personally guarantee that you would have no issues when booking The Nixons! -

Chelsea Sent on 12/01/2017Where do I even begin with Justin and Beth Nixon? Two beautiful souls that we were blessed to work with. It would be impossible for my husband and I to say enough about their talent. Needless to say, their photographs speak for themselves.
I was probably the hardest bride ever (easy to work with) but all this wedding stuff was very scary and hard to plan. I feel like Justin and Beth were a constant go to for Eric and I. Not just on photographic ideas, but vendors, decor, and so much more. These two are practically wedding planners, coordinators, and photographers all in one.
They captured so many memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. From our engagements to the wedding, and everything in between. Now, Eric and I are together as husband and wife with two new friends that we love dearly. I would recommend these two for anyone, any occasion, anytime. We love you Justin and Beth! -
