    Peacemaker

    My husband and I are so glad we hired Nicole. We interviewed and hired her after being recommended to her by someone else who had used her. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was friendly, bossy when need be at the wedding, texted me back when I texted her late at night which I never expected, and calmed my nerves when I got nervous about various things as we got close to the wedding date. She kept us hydrated and fed. She had our cocktail waiting for us when we came into the cocktail hour and again at the reception. We had a small issue with a guest, and she handled it swiftly and calmly. There were no hiccups that I know of on the day of the wedding. She messaged me multiple times to remind me not to forget particular items to bring wedding weekend and I still forgot the cake knife. She was able to rent me one and save the day as I had no time to get a new one. Her website was fascinating and helpful for someone disorganized like myself. My vendors could even login and see what they needed to, so we all stayed on the same page. She would update the checklist, contact list or timeline and I would immediately see it. My wedding weekend could not have gone any more smooth or picture perfect than what she achieved. We will be calling her for our future events, maybe a baby shower next.

    Attentive and Great Communication

    We hired Nicole for our wedding and we are so happy we did. She came as a recommendation from another vendor. She was very attentive and had great communication. She uses an online system that streamlined communication and made a control freak feel comfortable letting go responsibilities of planning our wedding to Nicole. We never doubted that we were being taken care of. For the day of the wedding, all the vendors she brought on did an amazing job. It was just as we visioned. We could not imagine there being someone more perfect for us and our day.

    Amazing to say the least

    for me what it is one of the biggest takeaways about Nicole is the price point. Southwest Florida is way down with too many businesses that overcharge by two and three times what they should, holding their customers financially hostage while only offering the minimum. Nicole takes the high road leaving them all behind and gives you all of the sad and fabulous you can handle without the gouge.

    We had a great experience with Nichole

    I just hired Nichole based on a recommendation. Our first visit went very smooth. She is energetic and self starter. I just wanted to show her photos and not worry about the event.
    She delivered just as I expected. We had a stress free and fun bridal shower.

    Nicole was amazing. She responded to all our daughters wishes and made sure all the details were perfect.
    She’s fun to be around, very energetic and ALWAYS has a smile on
    Her face. If she’s says “I’m on
    It” she is ON IT!!! We never worried about anything!!! Our daughters wedding was everything she wanted it to be. Never a glitch the entire weekend!!! Thank you NICOLE!! She is a diamond!!! We are truly thankful we found her!!

    Fabulous and engaging

    I have been to many weddings and had an event planning business and I have to say this is the most magical one I have ever attended. The lighting, draping, chandeliers all in a beach setting was spectacular. Nicole was a pleasure and so accommodating to meet all our needs. Thank you Nicole!!

    Best Decision/Best Day

    There are wedding planners and then there are Wedding Planners. We hired Nicole for her 'day of' services which was the best investment we could have made in the entire 'let's get married' process. Her 'day of' included so much more! Access to proprietary software allowing me to track guest responses, seating charts, food choices, etc...she followed up with all vendors a few weeks prior to confirm dates and details and also joined me when meeting with the event coordinator at the wedding venue, not to mention practical suggestions that only a wedding planner would know. Fast forward to the big day...by now I have affectionately named her 'Miss BossyPants'. That woman was on point from the time she arrived until the last guest departed, making sure every timeline and detail unfolded seamlessly, and in one particular instance handled a snafu with the hotel which we were unaware of until after it had been resolved - the mark of a consummate professional. Our friends are still talking about what a special day it was. Thank you, Nicole!

    Quick and Helpful

    Nicole was wonderful and very kind. Quick to answer my questions and book everything that was needed. As it got closer to my wedding, I didn't have to stress! She picked the perfect vendors for us. I truly got to be a guest at my own wedding as her tagline states. She even continued to make sure our drinks were full, that we stayed hydrated and ate plenty of food which we were bad at since we were so busy with our guests. She even thought of the kids at the wedding and had an activity area for them. You won't be disappointed with her!

    Nicole is so sweet and personable! She caters to your needs and is always one step ahead of the game. She always responds and answers questions and gives great suggestions! Definitely recommend!!

    Nicole did my wedding in April and my day could not have been more perfect. She made the process fun and exciting. She was great at putting the perfect team for me together. Nicole handled all situations with class and made sure our day was as perfect as could be. Nicole was always a joy to be around and I was lucky to have her as my planner.

    Nicole did a great job finding a beautiful venue for us. Although the other vendors she recommended weren't quite what we were looking for. Having a destination wedding and at times poor responsiveness definitely caused stress. We were one of her first weddings and inexperience showed. It was a learning experience all around and we wish her the best of luck and appreciate her efforts.

    Terrible Experience. Wouldn't Recommend.

    I hired Nicole for full wedding planning services. In the end, I cancelled our contract as she was never responsive, always unavailable and missed deadlines. Three weeks after signing an agreement, I only heard from her when I took the initiative to reach out to her. When I did get a hold of Nicole, the communication was very spotty: I would have to double text, wouldn't hear back for a day or two and she would only want to schedule phone calls for a few weeks out. I finally addressed my concerns that my expectations were not being met as we discussed when I signed her contract, and Nicole said communication would be better going forward and I would be stress free. I asked her for a timeline outlining the process and she told me she would have it to me in one week, which is a generous amount of time considering I hadn't received anything productive since hiring her. Over one week later, not only did I not hear from Nicole, I had to reach out to her to ask her the reason for the delay. At this point, I politely asked Nicole to cancel our contract and refund our money due to failure to deliver services as agreed upon in our contract. She then responded with a nasty, unprofessional email absolutely refusing to refund our money and assured us that she would not be doing us any favors going forward if we kept our contract. For somebody who "enjoys throwing chaos-free weddings," this created the exact opposite experience. My experience with Nicole was extremely stressful and counterproductive.

    My kids and I became sick after 1 week of you contracting me to plan your wedding which was 1 1/2 years away. I told you I could keep planning but that this made me foggy brained and I was concerned I might make mistakes and would prefer to wait for when I am better to begin planning your wedding. You said that was no problem, you understood and that my health was priority especially since the wedding was so far out. I ended up being hospitalized from being sick which you did not seem to care about after a week of me being sick and started yelling at me. I could barely even talk. I calmed you down and we agreed to reconvene in 2 weeks as you wanted a phone call with you, your fiancé and myself and the only time you two had together to have such a phone call was on Wednesdays I believe it was, and the following Wednesday you were unavailable but could the following week. You also had not given me a budget at this point which I need to be able to find vendors for your wedding that are within your budget. Instead, the following Monday after arranging this meeting, I get an email requesting to cancel the contract. I clearly have in my email that my retainer is non-refundable. At this point we are approximately 3 weeks into the contract. You then disputed the charge and somehow won with the bank despite the emails I had and my contract. I could have taken you to court and won but I did not as I chose not to go through the hassle. I also was never nasty or unprofessional. You just didn't like my response that I would not refund you any money and told you that a favor I had originally told you I was going to do even though I didn't charge you for it, would no longer happen due to how I was being treated. I hope you had a wonderful wedding and have a beautiful marriage. I wish you the best of luck.

    Look elsewhere

    I'm leaving this THIEF no stars, because that's what she deserves. Lets start off with you get what you pay for which an untrained monkey could have done better than Nicole did. She gave me a discount for "day of" wedding planning for $1,000.00 and now I know why, her services were worth about $10.00! Eight days prior to my wedding I text Nicole several times (3) in reference to meeting her, since I hadn't, because she kept blowing me off or making excuses and to make sure she was going to my venue as she had already MADE AN APT to meet with the staff their to go over the location. After 3 days of texting, she finally responded " I wasn't her priority the days I had text her and she didn't feel my text needed a response, even though they were in reference to her meeting the vendor! I'm pretty sure you don't tell a bride she isn't your priority 6 days before her wedding (needless to say she got an earful once she did decide to call, 5 days later). The day prior to my wedding she shows up with..1 of her kids, which surprises me being she told me she "doesn't like to mix her personal life and work"...so why bring 1 of your kids when clearly the 2nd child is elsewhere?? She had him sitting at one of my tables that I was decorating, and yes he was in my way. Nicole did not help at all the night before of setting up, nor did she take ANY pictures to see where I wanted the decorations to go the next day, because "it was the next day and she would remember". The day of my wedding Nicole called and text me several times for things I didn't need to know about. When I got to the venue after a very long stressful morning of getting ready, I look to see the wedding guests in the reception area at the bar drinking, which surprised me being myself nor my husband told her to open the bar prior to the cocktail hour. When my husband questioned Nicole she said "I was told you were running an hour late, so I decided to take it upon myself to open the bar". When my husband asked Nicole who told her we would be late, because we were NOT late, she had NO answer and could not show us any proof of who told her that, because it was a LIE. My husband told her to shut the bar down, being that was the only alcohol we had ( and that we paid for on our own) for the entire wedding and once it was gone, it was gone! We then had to tell her to start the ceremony, because it felt like we had been waiting for over an hour waiting on her to get everyone out of the reception area, so now people had drinks in their hands during the ceremony, nice pictures! After the ceremony we waited what seemed to be over an hour waiting to come into the reception area, and of course there was an issue with the lights which when attempting to find Nicole, no one could! Skip to we make our way into the reception to see my husband and I table not decorated as it was supposed to be done..but remember Nicole didn't need to take photos the night before...so I had to ask her where my candlesticks were, obviously not on my table. I also learned she did not decorate ANY of the tables, the catering staff did, LOL, so what exactly did she do?? Who knows. We then had people complain that their drinks were being made too strong at the bar, I look over to see the bartender in the dark because Nicole had "dimmed" the lights all the way down to where the bartender couldn't see what she was even pouring, so I myself had to go turn the lights back up , because yet again Nicole couldn't be found...although someone did find her in the cooler crying at one point??? Sometime during the evening, the kids spilled water on their tablecloth and Nicole had to ask me if i wanted it replaced, how about you just do it and not bother me with something so stupid? We will fast forward to the end of the night where Nicole had to be escorted to her vehicle by the staff because she didn't feel safe (more than half the guests were cops), so again not sure what that was about. I then am made aware by Nicole that she had stolen 2 of my decorations off the walls when she left. This was something she had mentioned she might want the night prior, while I was running around decorating for my own wedding and I said to her we will have to talk about it. My husband and I left for our honeymoon the day after our wedding, so I had no time to confront her about the decorations. When we returned home she tried to pay me on PayPal and some other scamming payment, which I don't use due to scamming. I advised Nicole numerous times that I wanted the decorations back, which yet again I got excuses as to why she hasn't mailed them back to me. It has now been over a month and no decorations have landed at my door step, so here is her review. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she did this to herself. There is so so much more I could add to this, but as of now my fingers are tired of typing about her worthlessness. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner, I'm telling LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!! She ruined my wedding day and I am disappointed in myself for trying to save a few bucks when I hired her. SAVE YOURSELF THE PROBLEMS AND HIRE A PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE THAT IS NOT WHAT NICOLE SHERRILL IS OFFERING!

    I have rewritten a response to this so many times and it is always beyond long that I feel it is too much. I go through your review one bullet point at a time and am as simple as I can in my wording to make it shorter and it is always still so long. So, here is my response, all of this is completely false and parts are beyond exaggerated. I also love the fact that you throw at my that I gave you a discount when you had asked for a discount and I told you no. You then said that you and your fiancé work for the sheriff's department and would I give a discount for that. I decided to thank you both for your service and gave you a discount.

    I also cried in the back because you were being so mean and rude the entire day and I was overwhelmed from you. Even the best man told me to take a breathe, that I was amazing and that the bride was just a bridezilla. After all, you did fire your maid of honor for being too busy to help you plan your wedding and replaced her with a dog and made her (the MOH) husband walk down with the dog, you even gloated about it. I also would like to point at the fact that you didn't pay me to set up your décor. The night of your rehearsal, which should have been 15 minutes long, ended up being 2 hours because someone in your bridal party was late and didn't show up for 2 hours. You were supposed to set up your own décor that night but chose to complain the whole night about your friend rather than take that time to decorate. So, you told me where things went and I placed them on those tables that night so I didn't need a paper or pictures. All I would have needed to do was set them up instead of laying down on the table.

    My son was no where near everything going on and since it should have only been 15 minutes long, I wasn't paying someone to babysit him when he could quietly sit there and read a book. You wouldn't have ever known he was there if I would have been gone after 15 minutes. Again, was in a corner, out of the way. I would also like to point at the fact that your friend from the venue told me you were running an hour behind, so G3 Catering and I decided it was best to allow each guest one drink and no more since they were going to be waiting so long and you had more than enough alcohol. Half of it was still there by the time the wedding ended. I also did not dim the lights, it was your mother, which you know for a fact it was because you caught her the second time and reamed her out for it.

    As a woman I am appalled by the fact you insult a woman for wanting to be safe and be walked to her car. As a wedding planner, I don't tell my couples everything going on throughout the night. Just an fyi, one of your sheriff friends stalked me the entire night and continued trying to convince me to go home with him. The catering staff had to begin helping me get away from him at multiple parts of the night. Then at the end he went missing. No one knew if he left or not. For this reason, I asked to be walked to my car so I could safely go home. Just because you work for the sheriff's department, does not mean you are a safe person. There are bad ones out there and this one may not be bad in general, but he certainly does not know boundaries and would not respect the one I had set in place with him.

    So, please do not make me out to be a nasty person when you and I both know, I went over and beyond that day to ensure everything went well including calling my mom who does lighting, décor and draping for wedding so she could walk me through how to fix the draping on the arbor that you hired someone else to do. The company sent someone that had never done draping before and told me she had no idea what she was doing. Mind boggling. I am done responding, this is longer than I wanted it to be.
