After considering a dozen wedding planners, Nicholas and I selected Zillman Weddings and Travel because of their glowing references. We were thankful for the opportunity to work with Nicole, as she truly was the most wonderful wedding planner – hyper-organized, competent, responsive, creative, patient, kind, and able to get along well with all types of people. Her team was amazing too! Our Catholic wedding brought together two strong-willed Italian and Irish families. Nicole’s brilliant stakeholder management and religious/cultural awareness allowed Nicholas and me to have the wedding we wanted; our families were happy too.
We worked closely with Zillman Weddings from July 2020 to May 2021, and Nicole effortlessly handled the challenges of wedding planning during a pandemic, especially vendor management. When the gospel choir I hired couldn’t perform due to social distancing requirements, Nicole quickly connected us with singer Helena Buscema (with her magnificent voice), and when the makeup artist I hired wasn’t working out, Nicole brought in Betsy Francesca with her decades of experience as a makeup artist for cinema-television, magazines, and weddings. Zillman Weddings had the industry experience and relationships to flawlessly deliver our wedding experience.
Even as a professional project manager, I was thrilled we signed-up for the “diamond” package and enhanced the wedding services to include support for our pre-wedding events, plus our honeymoon travel arrangements. Zillman Weddings and Travel took care of it all beautifully! -

I work a lot and my now husband started a new job with an opposite schedule to mine so planning a wedding seemed like an incredibly stressful task to take on for the both of us. I can't imagine how couples not only get through the planning process but also manage all the vendors, payments, set up and the day off necessities without a planner! Nicole was very friendly from the day I met her and was such a pleasure to work with. Thanks to all her hard work and constant communication to make sure we had our stuff in order we were able to completely enjoy our wedding day. She truly helped us put together such a wonderful day! It was super important for my husband and me to have a ceremony and reception that reflected the union of our two cultures and she delivered some and more. -

Saaya Sent on 10/04/2015Nicole was the most AMAZING wedding planner we could've hoped for! Whenever we reminisce about our wedding, the thing we talk about most is how phenomenal Nicole was.
Nicole was great from start to finish. I'd only attended one wedding in my adult life when we started planning so I was unsure about a lot of things, but she talked me through all the planning, coordinated with the hotel and other vendors, gave me great advice and was able to talk me down when I was feeling overwhelmed by all the planning!
Nicole is also a registered florist, so she and her assistant Alyssa did all the centerpieces and decorations for our ceremony and reception. She was great at being cost efficient and even helped us with other things, like putting together our favor bags, organizing our rehearsal cocktail party (for 70 people) and even dealt with things with the hotel for us personally.
Nicole made it the BEST wedding we could've ever had and we are so grateful at how special she made that day for us. We love you, Nicole! -
User976320 Sent on 10/16/2012I was a bridesmaid in a wedding planned by Nicole. The ceremony and the reception were both gorgeous. Everything flowed amazingly. It seemed that every time I turned around Nicole was there to help and give direction. All in all I had a fantastic time, and the wedding went beautifully. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner! -

Hiring Nicole as our wedding coordinator was one of the BEST decisions that my husband and I made for ourselves during the entire planning process.
She took into consideration all of our wishes and expectations and did her best to either meet or exceed them. Her execution of everything was both reasonable and timely. She also handled everything in a very calm and professional manner, and the other members of her staff (Alyssa and John) were also very helpful.
The most important thing that Nicole Marie Events provided was peace of mind and the ability for us to truly relax and enjoy our special day! Our wedding had a gazillion details, some of which were even DIY and required special attention, and we were able to just give everything to them beforehand, let them handle it, and not have to worry about anything at all. All we had to do on the day of was 1) look fantastic, 2) show up, and 3) have a blast!
I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Do yourselves a favor and hire Nicole right now! You will be so thankful for it afterwards, as we are to this day.
