Nhieu and his wife Susan were a pleasure to work with for my wedding on 10/1/22. They are friendly and passionate professionals. They spent the extra time to get to know me as a client and made sure our visions matched up for my wedding day photography. They even showed up at my wedding rehearsal day to gauge areas for the best shots. This shows that they are dedicated to the quality of their work and not just being there during the original contracted time frame.
I was pretty stressed out with wedding planning/timelines, but their experience and friendly personalities put me more at ease. I was also focused more on candid shots due to being burnt out from posed photography and went against some of their suggestions. In retrospect, after seeing final photos, I wish I followed more of their suggestions as they are really good at what they do.
Only minor feedback is I would have liked a preparation checklist beforehand on things to have out morning of like ring, nice hanger for dress, clean wedding shoes, wedding invite, jewelry, etc. This is just since I was scrambling around morning of. Otherwise, they really delivered above and beyond! It was also cool that Nhieu can speak multiple languages including Vietnamese which was helpful with my non-English speaking family. Definitely one my favorite wedding vendors! -

Amazing Wedding Photographers
Nhieu and Susan are so easy and fun to work with. The photos are amazing. They do such a great job of listening to what look or feeling you are going for and always find the magic in the moment! We had meetings before hand to understand what we wanted out of our big day and they delivered! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Amazing! Wonderful!
Nhieu & Susan are the complete package! I live in CA and was planning my wedding in NC, I was having a hard time booking a photographer because I could meet up with them. Nhieu and Susan took the time to meet up with my parents for me to make me comfortable before booking. My wedding ended up getting cancelled in 2020 due to covid and they were so easy to work with to reschedule them for my new date in 2021! Their communication is amazing, they even showed up for our rehearsal to see the venue and watch and day of wedding they were professional and did everything I asked! Nhieu was literally running around and sweating to make sure I got all my shots. My favorite was the quick session during sunset we did, definitely make sure you do that, they are some of my favorite photos of my big day!! Overall they are excellent photographers but also super wonderful people! Thank you Nhieu & Susan again for everything! -

Nhieu and Susan were fantastic during our wedding and did everything exactly as described to us beforehand! They were great to work with, especially since we do not live in NC and with everything through covid. They understood our priorities and needs throughout the day. Very professional and worked well with all our vendors. Afterwards, the photos came in a very timely manner and we love the memories they captured! -

I absolutely loved working with Nhieu & Susan. They were always professional and responsive at all times. They went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable during the engagement photo session and our wedding pictures. We couldn't be more pleased with all the photos taken. -

They were so easy to work with. They were very communicative, as well as accommodating when we had to make changes because of COVID precautions. They helped us figure out a more realistic event timeline, and rolled with any unexpected changes as the ceremonies progressed. It was a long shoot day, as we had two ceremonies to navigate, and they were great throughout the entire event. The best part, outside of great pictures, was Nhieu's ability to translate to Vietnamese for our Vietnamese side of the family. It made taking family photos so much easier. -

Working with Nhieu and Susan was an absolute pleasure! We knew they were the right choice for our laid back wedding right away. Nhieu's photography and editing styles are incredible and the attention to detail is second to none. When we had to change our original wedding plans, Nhieu was incredibly supportive and flexible. The result... AMAZING! We could not be happier with our photo gallery (delivered EARLY I might add!) They perfectly captured the memories my husband and I have of that day and will be a beautiful reminder forever! -

Me and my fiancé recently had our engagement photos taken by Mr.Tang. We’d never had our photos professionally taken and felt a bit unsure of what to expect- oh my goshh. Such a great experience.
Mr.Tang is super kind and encouraging. He has a fantastic eye for lighting and textures. He explains poses very well. He is so detailed.
He also had the photos ready for us in days- we were prepared to wait a few weeks!
Super super recommend.
The photos turned out beautiful. So so happy with our experience with him and super recommend. -

Nhieu was incredibly flexible with us when our engagement session had to be postponed an hour into the shoot, due to rain storms. He worked to reschedule us within the same weekend which was great! Nhieu comes prepared with a lot of fun ideas for movement shots and poses so you never feel like you are taking the same photo twice.
He also delivered our engagement photos within 2-3 days which made it very easy to plan for Save the Dates and share with our friends and family. The photos came out beautiful and the experience was absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would recommend every couple hire Nhieu Tang Photography for engagement and wedding day photography. -

Chose them because my wife wanted a photographer that could capture beautiful pictures with natural body movements. He captured the pictures just the way we expected from the photos he had online that we could see from previous customers. Pictures came out great. Highly recommended. Would definitely use again for other events. -

Nhieu is a great photographer. He is very passionate, creative and hard working. He was willing to travel far for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding in two different locations. We reached out to Nhieu and Susan for engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos (bridal, bridal party, tea ceremony and reception). They were always very enthusiastic and professional. They made it easy for us to pose and capture the most natural shots. They are very easy to communicate with and we just loved working with them. We had great photo sessions where you can see their great teamwork and can feel just how passionate they are for getting THAT photo. We hope to work with them not just for wedding photos in the future. You guys are great! -

Honestly, looking for a good wedding photographer that suited what we needed was really tough! We had a really long day - starting with a tea ceremony in the morning, the church in the afternoon, and the reception in the evening, so over 12 hours of constant moving around. However, Nhieu and Susan were very accommodating and professional, and helped us get all the shots that we needed. For instance, we wanted to make sure we had a picture with every single one of our guests, and they were able to make that happen! Furthermore, with his experience, Nhieu was able to give us a very realistic idea of what our timeline would look like. This helped us immensely so we knew how much time we needed to allot in order to get a picture with all the guests. I was also very disorganized at times due to juggling the wedding and grad school, but Nhieu was very patient with me and kept me on top of the things I needed to get to him. The pictures also turned out beautifully and in very high quality. We wanted a Disney princess-esque wedding feel, and they captured it perfectly. In addition, the candid shots were spot on! We chose not to get a videographer for our wedding, so our pictures were very important for recording our special day, and we couldn't be any happier with the results! -

She told me if I want to find a photographer who like to interact, active, quick,creative, and doing everything to get the extraordinary shot, book Nhieu and I did. We are glad that we had him and Susan. They were down to earth and very talented. We had an amazing time taking pictures, we were be able to be ourself
His work is beyond amazing, everything is flashing back when we look back at the pictures, the moments, the memories, ppl were laughing, smiling, we were to.
