Newhall Mansion was a DREAM wedding venue

We LOVED working with Newhall Mansion and their whole incredible team for our wedding! Crystal is the sweetest, most accommodating, thoughtful human ever and made sure our whole wedding weekend was a dream come true. Their chef, Giancarlo, is unbelievably talented. The created the most amazing menu of our favorite foods and people are STILL raving about how delicious everything was. Not to mention, the mansion itself is just the absolute most beautiful, unique, special, venue. It was magical to stay in, blew our guests away, and looked stunning in all our photos and videos!

Iconic Venue!

After looking at multiple venues and not falling in love with any, we found the NewHall Mansion and went to visit. As soon as we stepped our feet there we both fell in love! The place is gorgeous, and the view is breathtaking. Crystal, the Manager was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process! Our wedding was like a fairytale! Thank you Newhall Mansion! We’ll never forget you!

The Perfect Venue

The first and last place we look at for our venue!
Where do I even start.
I've been to many weddings where they're a one stop shop, providing not only the location, but many of the necessities. But this team is incredible! Their attention to detail just can't be matched in my opinion. Crystal and her team take such great care of the mansion in all it's beautiful splendor, which was the first thing we noticed when we visited. The chef there is beyond talented. We wouldn't be surprised to see him create a top notch restaurant one day.
AND YOU CAN STAY AT THE MANSION!
Who wouldn't want to feel like royalty staying in such a magnificent home. It was so fun picking out the rooms for our family that came into town for the wedding. We didn't have to go anywhere. We had our rehearsal and dinner there. I got to wake up in the beautiful bridal suite which makes you feel like a princess in a tower as you can see everyone coming in for the big day! Once the party was over we continued the after party in the tavern. Then got to enjoy breakfast with everyone who stayed before it was time to pack it up.
My family and I didn't have to worry about a single thing while we were there. Thanks to them and their perfect service, we got to enjoy the day to it's fullest. And it was the best time ever!

Wedding of September 2023

Everything about the Newhall Mansion was absolutely PERFECT!! From the wedding planning to the actual wedding day were over the top for us and our guests. We are still receiving compliments from our guests saying it was the BEST wedding they have ever attended !! Crystal the General Manager was an absolutely WONDERFUL to work with!! Her staff attended to our every need. Head Chef Giancarlo was also OVER the TOP with his Culinary Masterpieces !!!!

With so much gratitude

We love Newhall - best venue out of the 50+ we toured. We were supposed to be married in July 2020 (booked in June 2019) and Adam, then Crystal, made sure to take care of us even with 3(!!) date changes

We finally married in July 2022, with GianCarlo executing the perfect menu! We requested everything must be vegan + no bulbous vegetables - our very Filipino family didn't even realize that the dimsum they were eating for passed appetizers were not meat/seafood based.

The day of coordinator Chelsea (service already included in your contract) was also a gem + helped guide us through the final month of craziness.

We opted to stay on site all weekend - definitely consider this option future celebrants (rehearsal dinner, wedding, after party - we did it all in one location)! We loved our house team leads (Sarah + her mom!) - they greeted us that Friday and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Our rabbits (@princess_bun_chia) and dogs were allowed on site for the wedding and all festivities.

We cannot express our love for Newhall enough + cannot wait to celebrate future anniversaries here.

Magical & Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

One-in-a-life time experience! So many venues are beautiful and provide a great ambiance, but rarely does a venue commit to providing a life-long, weekend long experience. Crystal and team were so kind and accommodating every step of the way. When we first walked onto the groups of Newhall Mansion, we were in love. This venue had so much of what we were searching for (the mountains, different food selection, ability to stay the weekend, etc.). We were worried it was outside of our budget but we talked to Crystal and worked on our individual package to make our dreams come true. We were allowed to come back to the site to continue to work on our vision, and had a tasting sometime before the wedding to work on our menu. The tasting was a sample of different foods but we could select anything we wanted and we did! Our guests LOVED our cocktail hour and dinner choices. Shout out to Giancarlo for the mouth-watering food!
It was awesome being at the venue on Friday, having our rehearsal dinner, and overall enjoying the time with friends and family. This created great energy going into the wedding weekend.
The venue also has so many amenities for those staying over (Wi-Fi, hair dryers, irons, towels, Keurig coffee machines, ice, etc.). Make sure you ask as you’re packing!
The team really knocked it out of the park. They made us feel very welcome and my mom couldn’t stop raving about the customer service (that is rare!).
Thank you again, Crystal, Giancarlo, and team, for a memorable experience. We hope to see you when we renew our vows in some time!

Best Wedding Venue in Southern California

Newhall Mansion is the best wedding venue you will find! We visited and toured 20+ venues before landing on this one. We got married here in September 2022 and it was everything we could ask for and more! Crystal was very easy going and very organized. Our guests were in awe with how professional and nice the staff was.

Chef Giancarlo really brought our vision to life when it came to the food. You are not confined to a menu and you can truly ask for whatever you want. The appetizers, dinner, and cocktails were incredible. People are still talking about the food and service they had.

Felt Like Royalty at our Wedding

Newhall Mansion was our DREAM wedding venue. Even through a couple of rescheduling dates on our end during COVID, the mansion was 100% worth the wait. Let’s start with staying there. All the rooms are amazing in their own way, and they have all the amenities you need in a great hotel. The mansion is so huge that when everyone got to their rooms, we started to lose track of where people were! On Friday, we hung out in the pool after we arrived, and we hosted a taco cart at the mansion for a casual rehearsal dinner. Guests at the rehearsal were so impressed, and it made things so stress-free to just stay in one location the whole time.

The wedding on Saturday went so well. Not having to go anywhere on our day made the day feel very relaxed. The mansion has nonstop locations for lounging and getting ready. The girls got ready upstairs in the bridal suite and the guys got ready in the tavern basement. The mansion is full of so many great spots both inside and outside to take photos, and it was great that parents and others could show up whenever to help out and they had plenty of places to get ready as well.

The event was everything we could’ve dreamed of. For catering, we used the Newhall Mansion catering and we had multiple guests tell us how good the food was. Everyone loved the appetizers, in particular the mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters and the chicken and waffles. Family style dinner was awesome, because everyone got tons of food, and we had some of the most well-cooked salmon and steak we’ve ever had at an event.

After the wedding, we hung out in the tavern with our whole wedding party. And the next morning, we made a big breakfast in the kitchen, so out of town family and friends could stop over to say goodbye on their way to the airport.

The mansion staff were nothing but friendly, helpful and awesome the whole weekend. They made everything really great. Truly a world class team and we are so grateful they helped make our whole weekend amazing.

Amazing Wedding Location

Wedding was in August 2021.
Adam and team did a fantastic job. They were flexible due to pandemic; the food was terrific.
I recommend taking the Mansion for the whole weekend.

Newhall Mansion + Staff were the best venue team ever!

From the moment we walked into this venue, it was perfect. We unfortunately had to postpone because of COVID, but Adam was amazing every step of the way. We spent two years planning our dream wedding and it wouldn't have been perfect without Adam and the entire team at the Mansion. Run, don't walk to book with them. Our guests are still raving about the weekend we spent there.

Beautiful Hidden Gem with Amazing Service

We just got married here on 6/19/21 and it was even more magical than I ever imagined! THE BEST!!! Adam, the venue manager, was extremely helpful every step of the way throughout the planning process and event day. He was very responsive, communicated well, was flexible with our needs, and helped ensure everything went smoothly. The venue itself is SO beautiful and endless picture locations. Our favorite thing was being able to spend time with loved ones the whole weekend, not just the wedding day. The mansion was truly "ours" for the weekend. We were able to save money by doing the rehearsal dinner there and get food/drinks from Costco for everyone staying at the mansion. On the wedding day, everything went better than I imagined. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was some of the best I've ever eaten! The chef was able to create a menu unique to our tastes, so that every item felt meaningful to us. The package includes day-of coordination and our coordinator, Aly, was AMAZING! Not one thing went wrong the entire day. Huge thank you to Newhall Mansion for a dream wedding! It is 100% worth every penny!

The best night of my life at the Newhall Mansion

From top to bottom the professionalism was an A+. The wedding was the best 48 hours of my life. They let us do what we wanted to do on the property. Never once was something off or incorrect or needed to be adjusted. Definitely a hidden gem. Adam (point of contact/ manager of the grounds) was the easiest person to work with. Everyone we hired was in house; catering, tables, linens, photography, coordinator, etc. They made weddings look easy, fun and relaxing. Within the first 12 hours of staying on the property we discussed coming back in 5 years for a family reunion. A great one stop shop for weddings and events.

Amazing Venue!

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it completely exceeded our expectations! Obviously, the venue is AMAZING! We got to stay there Friday-Sunday with our family and friends. We had our rehearsal dinner there the night before as well. It was so nice to have everyone there the night before so they would really check out the property. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

The coordinator Chelsea, as well as Adam, the General Manager, were such a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and help through every step was amazing. Hats off to the catering as well! The food was phenomenal! They customized the food exactly how we wanted it and the guests loved it.

The weekend was absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a venue, look no further! It has everything we wanted and more.

Amazing Venue with Excellent Staff

Newhall Mansion is a dream. We had our wedding there 2 weeks ago and stayed there with our bridal party for the weekend. The venue itself is stunning - beautiful stained glass windows, gorgeous hard wood details, elegant furniture. Each bedroom has a theme and feels authentic to the Victorian time period. There are even a few secret doors! The outside grounds of the venue are also gorgeous (we had our ceremony and reception outside) and offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The venue is set up perfectly for weddings. There is a lovely bridal suite to get ready and a really cool basement tavern that doubles as the groom’s area.

Adam and the team have the wedding day schedule down to a science. They make the day happen so incredibly smoothly, and make sure everyone has what they need. I am so grateful to have worked with them! Newhall’s in-house caterer, Theresa, is also amazing - her food is absolutely delicious and many of our guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. Last, I am so happy we had our day-of coordinator, Krista, included as a part of working with Newhall. She is a gem, so easy to work with, and had so many excellent suggestions to make our day even more beautiful. Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to the Newhall Mansion team, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a gorgeous historic venue with excellent customer service.

Our Dream Venue!

The Newhall Mansion is about as picturesque as a wedding venue can be. Between the amazing front yard orange grove and the glorious mountain backdrop, we captured some beautiful moments over the course of the weekend. We rented the venue for the entire weekend, which made our wedding day incredibly relaxing having our bridal party all in one place. Adam and Krista were absolutely superb in making sure every aspect of our wedding was perfectly "us". Adam even offered to dogsit our dog for the weekend! (ultimately we decided to leave the pup at home). We cannot thank Adam, Krista, Theresa and the Newhall team enough for bring our magical wedding vision to life.

Wedding Weekend in a Magical Oasis

The Mansion was DIVINE. We wanted a place that we could stay all weekend (from rehearsal to post-wedding brunch), and a place that was furnished so we wouldn't have to decorate it ourselves. The Mansion was all that and MORE. It is surrounded by nature - mountains, trees, flowers, natural sunlight - and truly feels like an oasis. We loved being able to explore and have depth and layers to the party, to make each room our own (e.g. gift room, cake room, coffee area, cocktail area, tapas area), and to dance down in the man cave after hours. The team that works here is an absolute dream, always making you feel comfortable and supported. They also have the best vendor recs, since they know the wedding business inside and out! We went with virtually every recommendation. I could not be more grateful or delighted, we're still talking about it half a year later. THANK YOU, in particular to Adam and Nicole, you are ANGELS.

Outstanding!

The greatest and most wonderful experience! Could not have ask for a more attentive, kind, open & professional staff. Truly went above and beyond to help create an outstanding wedding not only for us, but more importantly for our guests. Adam the house manager was so attentive and open to my ideas. Theresa our catering manager was patient and provided many wonderful suggestions. The food was phenomenal and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. The wait staff and bartenders were unbelievable in their service and attention to detail. Krista and Jacqueline were our day of coordinators who anticipated our every need and made sure the day went on without a hitch. Everyone involved was spectacular. I cannot sing their praises enough. The single greatest decision I made in planning my wedding was picking the Newhall Mansion, the Newhall Mansion Catering and Tricia Dahlgren Events!

A Beautiful Venue!

This venue is so stunning. We also loved that we (and some friends/family) could use the facility the entire weekend. That really took a lot of stress off the wedding weekend. It might be near impossible to describe how amazing our whole experience was at the Newhall Mansion. The Mansion is gorgeous! It speaks for itself and, although the pictures available online are beautiful, it does not do the venue justice. This place is enchanting -- it’s a combination of Victorian, chic, yet rustic all in one! We can’t thank Adam enough for this glorious, stress-free experience. Other than the aesthetics of the Mansion, Adam was a huge reason why we made the decision to have our wedding here. From the very first day, his professionalism and genuine happiness for potential clients shined through in his excitement for us. Adam is a true professional that puts you at ease; he is sympathetic to the importance of this milestone in life and does everything he can to make it the best experience possible. My husband and I did a tasting at the Mansion and we were beyond pleased with Chef Theresa’s exquisite menu. People can’t stop raving about how delicious our food was; and her delightful chicken and waffles as our late night snack were such a hit with our guests! The Mansion also included a “day of” coordinator, which I do not know why they call it “day of” as they were always available with any questions, concerns or suggestions that we had. Krista, Kaitlyn and Viviana were all great to work with. A special shout out to Viviana, Kaitlyn’s assistant, who did not leave my side. Anything I needed, she provided; she did the role of “maid of honor” better than my maid of honor and was the one who held my dress while I used the restroom!!!
It’s impossible to write a review for the staff of the mansion in a short paragraph, if I had the opportunity to plan our wedding all over again, I would time and time again select the Mansion and the staff of the Newhall Mansion to be a part of our special day. Thank you again for making this the most magical day of our lives -- we are forever grateful!

I love love this venue! The manager, Adam was such a great help to us and was very flexible with anything we wanted done for our wedding. He really went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! I will highly recommend this venue for any couple who wants to get married. It such a beautiful venue and a great place to take pictures at as well. This venue is honestly breath taking and it’s so unique! and also you can spend the whole weekend there with your loved ones! Which is a plus ! Book this venue ! You will not be disappointed I promise you!

I don't think words can really describe how amazing the Newhall Mansion is. The venue is absolutely beautiful and so much fun to stay at. My guests were stunned by its beauty. I was stunned at how amazing the staff was there. Adam was always so easy to get a hold of and made the wedding planning process so easy. Krista made my wedding so beautiful and it ran like clock work. We also hired the catering staff and the food was to die for! I got so many complements on not only how good the food was but how much there was. No one left hungry. I highly recommend this venue for any event!

Newhall Mansion is really a one of a kind venue!!! The architectural beauty and history are just staggering and then the service and accommodations are just excellent!! Adam, the site manager struck me as a good hearted person who is sincerely dedicated to each and every single wedding. I really appreciated the sense of personal stake and responsibility he took with our wedding and working with us on ensuring the success of every single aspect of it. Our wedding was multiple days with an inordinate variety of emergencies occurring (one of which was a fire in the area of the venue!!) and the way he pulled through despite all of that was unbelievable. We had our catering done through their vendor and Theresa was just amazing. We meticulously worked through a multi-cultural fusion menu together and once I tasted her results from it, I was floored. To put it simply, her taste is impeccably refined and our wedding dinner was exceptional. The venue itself was just transformative. Our guests, local and out of town, could not comprehend the overwhelming beauty of everything. So many of them afterwards described it as simply magical and mesmerizing. I can't recommend booking Newhall Mansion enough. My wedding far exceeded even my most outlandish expectations and was an affair my husband and I, our family and our guests will remember and cherish forever.

It will be impossible for me to say enough nice things about this beautiful venue in one short review, but I'll do my best. The Newhall Mansion and the amazing staff they employ made my dream wedding happen.

From the very beginning we new that Adam was going to be a great resource. His knowledge about the mansion itself and all of the events they've had there is encyclopedic. He was responsive and helpful at every turn. He was incredibly accommodating to any and all of our requests. And on the day even our guests were telling me how great he was.

The flow of the weekend form the rehearsal dinner on Friday to checking out Sunday morning was perfect. The grounds are well kept, the house is beautifully maintained, and it all felt like being pampered at a five star hotel. The mansion also has no required vendors, which was important to me (though everyone on their recommended list is incredible). The arch, and tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception are also includued.

We also used the mansion's coordinator (which they provide for you at no extra cost!) and their in house catering and loved both. Krista and Vivianna were rockstars on the day. If anything went wrong, I certainly never heard about it. The catering was also incredibly creative and accommodating as we built our menu and the food was SUPURB. The staff the day of the event was great, handling the service with perfect professionalism.

I know I'm really going on about this but here is the take away: the mansion was one of the best selections we made for our wedding. The guests loved it, every one of the 20 guests who stayed there loved it, and our wedding was perfect and beautiful thanks in large part to the wonderful people who work there.

This venue aloud me to have my dream wedding! My husband and I had looked at several places before we came into the small desolate town turned down the road and like a fairytale, this beautiful mansion! We both cried during our initial tour! Ok now forget about the venue... Adam is the absolute best! He made everything so easy and was so kind and helpful! He’s really willing to work with each couple and was so accommodating! My wedding was the best day of my life and my friends and family will not stop talking about how beautiful and fun it was! I am so glad I found this venue! I fell in love with Newhall mansion the moment I saw it! I just knew I had to get married here. When I contacted Adam to talk about pricing and availability he was so helpful. We used the in house catering service which was absolutely AMAZING!! From the food to the service! Our wedding day went off without a hitch thanks to all the staff of the mansion. It was so much more fun to be be able to stay in the mansion for the weekend. If you are thinking of using the mansion as your venue you will not be disappointed. All of our friends and family are still raving about our wedding and telling us that it was hands down one of the most amazing venues and set ups they have ever seen ??

The Newhall mansion is one of a kind, but the experience would never have been soon so amazing if it were not for the incredible staff. Over a year ago, we started our search for a wedding venue, and until we found the Newhall Mansion I was a bit worried. I never really thought that we'd find a place that exceeded every expectation, but we did. And we're already thinking about a reunion of sorts - how to go back in five years, maybe ten - so that we can spend more time in a place that quickly became so special to us.

When you drive through the gates at the Newhall, if it doesn't hit you like a ton of bricks that you've found something special - then just wait until you head inside. Adam, the general manager and one of the most helpful people I've ever met in my entire life, will take you on a tour that makes it difficult to remember why you ever looked anywhere else. At least that's how we felt. Even if you're not sure from the pictures alone, I recommend the in-person tour. That really sealed the deal for us.

We spent the weekend at the mansion, and enjoyed every minute. One of the things we specifically looked for was a place where we could all stay - that wasn't simply a hotel somewhere close to a venue. Being able to hang out for more than the typical 6-10 hours allowed at other venues, made a huge difference. We had everything at the mansion - from rehearsal dinner to goodbye brunch. There are so many spaces to utilize and we made sure to spread things around.

The Newhall also provides coordinations services. It's included when you book, and Krista couldn't have been a better fit for us. Day of, I didn't have to worry about anything. There's also an assistant who stays with the bride the whole day, through the ceremony. Kinnika made me feel like I didn't have to worry about the timetable. As someone who is very used to being the organizer of other people, I felt comfortable letting go here, and that was a great surprise.

In short, we love that we got married at the Newhall. Take the tour, and see for yourself.

I cannot be more pleased with the Newhall Mansion team and venue! My husband and I got married the first weekend in October and it was B-E-A-UTIFUL! The weather was quite warm during the day and temperate in the evening. Personally, I never felt cold because I was too busy dancing the whole night, but we had pyramid heat lamps that really set the mood and provide heat for the non-dancers. If it weren't for such a beautiful venue and awesome team, I don't think it could have been the best day of my life (which it turned out to be!). The entire team is so friendly, so helpful, and so professional. A huge thank you to Adam Brooks, who always went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and to answer all of our endless questions. Newhall Mansion Catering is a must-book! Theresa and Jesse are awesome to work with and delivered quality food and drinks for our very special day. Also, Krista Dison and Nari (sp?) from Tricia Dahlgren Events were a lifesaver! I planned my wedding from the SF Bay Area, so my coordination with Krista was done via email. On the day of our rehearsal and the day of our wedding, Krista and her assistant, Nari, made sure everything went perfectly! I couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. It truly was a dream wedding!

We got married at the Newhall Mansion last month and had a wonderful experience not only that weekend but the entire year leading up to it. Adam (manager) and Krista (coordinator) were both so friendly, responsive and helpful the entire time! We got SO many compliments on our venue due to it's uniqueness, beauty and exclusivity! I almost wanted to go to a venue like Calamigos which we'd only get for part of the day and there'd be many weddings going on at the same time. With Newhall we had the whole venue to ourselves for two days and it was just about us. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner, family brunches, getting ready, ceremony and reception all in the same place which made the weekend A LOT less stressful! It was also wonderful that we had the option to have our entire wedding party stay there both nights which made it easy to spend time together! No zooming back and forth between hotels and venues. We were all just there! The house is BEYOND GORGEOUS and is so well kept! Everywhere you look there's some beauty and detail to discover. Can we talk about the tavern basement too? It made for the ultimate man cave and it was so much fun hanging out down there after the reception! The bridal suite is also huge, beautiful and new! Every room is beautiful and the grounds made for the perfect setting! We got beautiful and unique photos and video from it! Choosing Newhall Mansion was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding and we definitely recommend it!

We just got married there on 8/12/17. Best decision I ever made! It was more than amazing! The venue is impeccable, staff is amazing and the overall experience is perfect! I would recommend this venue to anyone! Adam was so responsive and helpful every step of the way! Jesse (catering) went above and beyond and the food was absolutely perfect! I wish I could do it all over again! Anyone looking for a venue, Newhall Mansion is the place to get married!!!!

Newhall Mansion is a DREAM LOCATION for a wedding, and Ceazar and I are so happy to have that dream come true. From the first walkthrough of the venue, my then fiance and I were in awe by the beauty of the grounds and the details of mansion. Every room is unique and special in its own way. And when you think you've seen it all, the magical Tavern will blow you away. The mansion is picturesque and breathtaking. The staff is great too. But I'd to highlight the manager Adam. Adam is warm and welcoming, and by far the best host that's ever housed our family under one roof. He's super quick with responding to any questions and very accommodating. Our wedding was held on a the hottest day of the year and we don't think it'll be as successful and enjoyable without Adam. Along with our wedding coordinator, he made sure the event ran smoothly. Overall, if we were given the option to relive our wedding weekend at the greatest venue on earth, we'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Newhall Mansion for being amazing, unique, and special!

The first time we visited the mansion, we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. Adam, the property manager, is so helpful, nice and accommodating. He responded quickly to every email, made suggestions for other vendors and made us feel like he always had time for us during the planning stages. On the weekend of the wedding, he was amazing. He really had a way of making us feel like the mansion was ours for the weekend. In our contract, we had a day of coordinator, Krista, who was so helpful. Again, very responsive on the emails, gave great advice and asked questions that really helped in our planning. We also hired the mansions catering company, led by chef Jesse. He worked with us to create a menu that we loved and food that our guests raved over. We had a few specific things we wanted with the menu (a memorable salad dressing being on) and Jesse delivered. Again, quick to respond on emails, great insights and such a joy to work with (as was everyone). On the wedding night, Jesse, Krista and Adam were all there and they seemed genuinely happy for us and relaxed (especially considering they were running a wedding for 160 people!). The house itself is magical. The rooms are all so cool, beds are comfortable and being able to have our wedding party stay the weekend made the wedding even better. We got there Friday night, held a small rehearsal dinner at the mansion and then Saturday was perfect. Krista prepared an excellent weekend schedule that made vendor deliveries and arrivals easy. The photos came out beautifully because the grounds are incredible. Green grass, flowers in bloom and so many great spots for photos. We really could not have had a more perfect wedding day and weekend. Adam, Krista, Jesse and everyone else we worked with made it such a wonderful experience. We loved every second of the weekend and have no complaints, no regrets and no doubts that this was the best place for us to have our wedding.

Newhall Mansion was the first and only venue that we toured. At first sight, we knew it was the perfect place for us!
Adam was great to work with all throughout the planning stages. Personable, knowledgeable, flexible...just great :)
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and you really don't have to add much to décor for your event. It speaks for itself.
It's been over a month since our wedding and people are still talking about the location...truly a hidden gem just outside of LA.
I'd recommend Newhall Mansion again and again!

This venue is truly magical. Adam , Tricia , and Jesse were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely accommodating to any of our requests. Our guests are saying it's the most beautiful venue they have ever been too. You really can't go wrong with this place!

The Newhall Mansion was our DREAM wedding venue!! It has everything you could ever want for an intimate, classy, old Hollywood style wedding. The house and property are magnificent and immaculate. It's a surprising location and a bit off the grid but as soon as you enter the gates, you feel like you're in an entirely different world reminiscent of Great Gatsby era. We loved that every room has a theme and exquisite design...our favorites being the underground tavern and angelic bridal suite. It was incredible to have 8 bedrooms for our closest family and wedding party to enjoy the entire wedding weekend together. We loved working with Adam, he is incredibly accommodating and passionate about his job. He won't steer you wrong as he knows EVERYTHING about the mansion and can help you resolve any potential issue. The recommended list of vendors is great, especially event planning by Tricia Dahlgren Events. The combination of Tricia and Adam working together on your wedding means you will NOT have a hiccup on your big day and they will handle everything flawlessly. Literally, the only draw back (which can also be seen as a plus) is the location is 20+ minutes from the nearest hotel and there aren't very many cabs in the area so getting guests to and from is a bit of a hassle and needs to be planned for well in advance. But overall, Newhall Mansion is a tremendous venue with a great value! We are even talking about renewing our vows at the Mansion again in the future :)

Amazing experience through and through! Newhall Mansion was an absolute dream and we will cherish the memories that we made there forever. The space is secluded, unique, and undeniably special. As soon as we saw it in person, we knew it was the one. My husband and I rented the mansion for the weekend, which I definitely recommend. We were able to host all of our wedding events in one place (so fun utilizing different parts of the mansion!) as well as stay in the rooms with 20 of our best friends/bridal party.

Adam is the Property Manager at Newhall Mansion and he was above and beyond amazing! From the very first interaction up until our departure from the mansion, Adam was incredibly helpful and communicative. He made our stay extra special. Adam lives on-site and was there when we arrived to help us all get checked in, but the rest of the weekend it felt completely as if it was our own home. I cannot praise his efforts enough. Thank you for everything, Adam!

Some things to note:
- The bridal suite IS as beautiful as everyone says - magical in every way!
- You can bring in your own caterer/booze
- Each room is different, and the beds are SUPER comfortable. 5 stars.
- Gated
- You are required to have a Day-Of Coordinator at this venue.. and you will thank yourself later for hiring one! Now having lived through it, it would have been impossible without one. We worked with Holly Orr at Paper Heart Events and she was INCREDIBLE - highly recommend.

What I loved the most about Newhall Mansion is how customizable everything was. The space really allows for you to make the event all your own and be super creative, especially if you rent it for the whole weekend.

So much to say, not enough room. From the moment my husband and I found the Newhall Mansion and met Adam, we were completely blown away how great of a person he is! Not only is he a genuine man who listens to all your needs and concerns, he offers great advice and makes everything extremely easy. By the time our wedding came, we felt extremely confident that the day would go perfectly thanks to an incredible venue ran by a great guy.

As expected, the wedding was perfect and a lot of that came as a result of Adam and all his help. I wish we could hang there more than just for a wedding and have our new friend Adam right along side us.

My husband and I were married on September 10, 2016 and I can honestly say it was the best weekend of our lives. To start with, Newhall Mansion is a truly magical place. There is nothing greater than spending an entire weekend with all of the people you love the most on one of the most important days of your life, and Newhall Mansion gives you the ability to do just that by staying there in one of the 9 gorgeous bedrooms with your closest family, friends and bridal party. You can have your Rehearsal Dinner there Friday, wedding day Saturday and Farewell Brunch Sunday without ever leaving the property. The mansion is stunning and a totally unique experience unlike any other. The entire top floor is comprised of the new, renovated Bridal Suite which is a total dream for any bride. To match this, the entire basement is comprised of the Man Cave. We turned this area into a small after-party complete with karaoke (gifted by the Best Man), which really made our wedding experience unique. Both spaces have amazing style and ambiance and truly separate Newhall Mansion from any other venue. We had many guests tell us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to.

The primary reason Newhall Mansion is so incredible, aside from the appeal of the venue and its amenities, is the General Manager Adam Brooks. Adam is the reason the Newhall Mansion is so magical. He makes the entire process of planning your wedding much easier than it should be, and is extremely responsive, accommodating and personable. He just “gets it”. He is not there to be the rule enforcer, or remind you of every detail in the contract. He is there to make sure you have the best experience of your life, and he is incredibly successful at achieving that goal. I left the mansion that weekend hoping to continue a friendship with him, he is just that kind of guy. Adam, we cannot thank you enough for our wedding experience at the Newhall Mansion and owe you in large part the best weekend of our lives!

The Newhall Mansion is absolutely perfect in every single way! I was recently married there on July 16th and it was the best weekend of my entire life. The entire property is breathtaking and Adam (the manager) is awesome! He is so helpful and just an overall great guy. Any questions you have he knew the answer and responded very quickly. I cannot put into words how amazing this venue is. I recommend staying for the entire weekend if you're able to. It was such a great experience for my entire family. I was so sad to leave there on Sunday but am so blessed to have the wonderful memories that I have.

Newhall mansion is the absolute dream venue. Not only is the mansion itself beautiful and the location picturesque, but the general manager (Adam) is the most wonderful person to work with: professional, accommodating, and flexible. We truly felt welcomed and all of our expectations were exceeded! Our immediate family stayed in the mansion for the weekend, which felt very intimate and was a great way for our 2 families to bond. We had full access to the kitchen, and even went swimming and had lunch at the pool one of the days. The rooms were spacious, inviting, historic but with modern amenities. The bridal suite, located on the top floor, is enormous and the perfect place to to hang with your family and bridesmaids while getting prepped for the wedding. And the boys had their perfect space in the tavern below to play darts and blast music. Don't hesitate, book with Newhall Mansion, you won't regret it!

Newhall Mansion was the first venue we looked at and everything else after paled in comparison. We fell in love and stayed into love through the whole process. We rented the venue for a three day weekend and it was worth every penny. Every room is unique, clean, and beautiful. The bridal suite which is new is stunning and spacious and a fabulous space to spend your wedding morning getting ready. The land around the mansion is beautifully kept and have many levels to allow for creative interpretations. Adam, the general manager is energetic, quick to respond and organized. I loved hosting our wedding here!

I got married at the Newhall Mansion in April, and there are no words to describe how amazing it was! I received so many compliments from guests and family about how gorgeous the grounds were. We were also able to stay at the mansion for the weekend which made our time feel so much longer. Not only is the mansion beautiful, but the manager of the mansion Adam, is so great to work with. He was very helpful answering questions leading up to the wedding, and when we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He made our wedding planning and wedding weekend so easy and so fun! We can't thank them enough for all of their help!

The Newhall Mansion is an absolute dream come true. I must confess that I am a TV producer and producing my own huge, unique, and crazy wedding has been a dream for my whole life. It's silly, but I always knew it would be a huge, week long bash with no network telling me what to do and what the "audience" wants :) All of that to say that I wasn't particularly easy to please. The venue, easily was the hardest part. After meeting with Adam and who patiently let me walk him through every detail, I booked Newhall Mansion. I could not be any happier with that choice.

The Newhall Mansion is the perfect venue for any couple who wants a venue that they can truly manipulate for their own needs. The manager, Adam, is awesome. He accommodated every request with grace, punctuality, warmth, and professionalism. The grounds, the home, the tavern and all that encompass the venue are in top notch shape. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. I'll never forget the years I spent planning the wedding, the actual wedding, and the fact that Adam & Newhall truly transformed the fairytale in my head into an actual wedding.

We have booked the Newhall Mansion for our location to be married and I couldn't be more happy! This place was beyond anything I have ever imagined the second I stepped foot in the door! It's beautiful, modern, old fashioned, and just perfect! What's even better is that we have the whole location to ourselves for the entire weekend to enjoy with our bridal party and loved ones. It's like an overnight hotel that we can enjoy with everyone! I must say...GO CHECK IT OUT!!! The pictures don't do this gorgeous place justice!!

The Newhall Mansion is the most unique and wonderful place I have ever been. My wedding is something that I will always remember as an amazing experience! The venue itself was amazing but it was with Adams help that we were able to have an amazing experience. Adam made all the planning at the Newahll Mansions seamless and stress free. BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE!!! The Newhall Mansion is beyond beautiful and exceeded all expectations we had for our wedding. We still receive compliments about how beautiful our wedding was and what an awesome venue we had. We had a guest count of 280 and there was plenty of room for seating and dancing :). The Newhall Mansion is gorgeous. It was amazing having our whole family stay with us for the wedding weekend while still having an entire floor of the house to ourselves. The bridal suite is amazing, open, and so perfect for day of getting ready as well as privacy. Adam is incredibly helpful and the house just works. What an amazing experience! We would ask questions and would receive a response quickly. We felt special and our questions (even though we felt were dumb) were treated with importance. Adam accommodated to our every need. He made our wedding everything we wanted it to be and made sure it was in order.

I was raised in Piru and most of my family lives in that town. Adam was kind to give tours and he in return got info and stories from them. They were grateful for all the respect they received

We went to our friends' wedding in Scotland and absolutely loved the vibe of having family and friends all stay together for a few days leading up to the actual wedding, but we didn't want a destination wedding. So being born and raised in Los Angeles, my wife and I had to find a venue close to home that felt like a castle. We messaged nearly every mansion for rent from Temecula to Ojai - and kept getting the same response: "No it's not just $3000 for the weekend as listed, when you have a wedding, it also costs $120/person, the party ends at 9pm, alcohol is extra, you need to use our vendors... etc." Then we stumbled on The Newhall Mansion's price is an all-in cost for up to 300 people. We comfortably slept 20 people in 10 beds from Thursday to Sunday, hosted a rehearsal dinner for 35 on Friday night, and got married in front of 160 friends and family until 11pm on Saturday night. It was a stay-cation wedding success!

Adam, the manager, was extremely responsive and accommodating. We had the ability to pick our own vendors, allowing us to find creative ways of keeping our budget down (like purchasing the bar from Costco, and bringing in some delicious local BBQ). If you're looking for a one stop shop, you probably want to stick to the hotel ballrooms. But if you're planners like us with hopes of delivering a unique and memorable experience, or you have a strong coordinator to iron out the specifics of building an event from scratch, this is an amazing place with amazing possiblities.

Perhaps the best feature of The Newhall Mansion is the plethora of uniquely decorated rooms - particularly, the dark and mysterious basement (the man cave), and it's juxtaposed angelic counterpart in the attic (the bridal suite). The grounds are immaculate, the pool is refreshing, and the location is tranquil - feeling nothing like LA. The Newhall Mansion exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to come back when we're older, just to spend a weekend there with the same friends.

Newhall Mansion was the most amazing venue we could have possibly picked for our wedding. Working with Adam (manager) was a dream! He walked us through everything and was unbelievably helpful! Having the venue for the weekend made everything so much less stressful and everything about our wedding turned out greater than we could have imagined. My husband and I have been together for 13 years and wanted to basically have a big party to have all of our family and friends celebrate with us. We were able to go in and decorate early, stay late, If there was anything Adam could do for us, he did with a smile! We had a bit of a rowdy crowd being a younger couple and through it all Adam was friendly and made everyone feel welcome and not like he was acting like the police! Adam made sure we felt like it was our home for the weekend! We have NO complaints! This venue is perfect for all income families! If you cannot afford to do many decorations, and additions, the Mansion is already beautiful or you can add more beauty to it! The neighbors were cool and did not complain! It was the perfect venue! It was not strict at all and i just cant express enough how they make sure you feel like it is yours for the time you have paid for it! It is a very personal contract you enter with The Newhall Mansion! The welcome they give you makes me feel like if i ran into Adam outside the mansion now, we would talk as if we were friends! DEFINITELY DEFINITELY RENT THE MANSION FOR ANY EVENT!!!!!!

If you want a Fairy Tale wedding with a victorian themed ambiance then this is the place! Just schedule a tour with Adam and it will be soooo hard to say no to this place.
My wedding was a dream come true, every detail of the venue is amazing. And they have preferred vendors but you are not "stuck" with them. You can bring any vendor your heart chooses.
I have told soo many people about this place and will be telling more. We are already planning to have our future events at the mansion as well!

I almost don't want to review the mansion because I want to pretend that this place was made exclusively for me and my husband! But honestly, if you can book this place for your special day, don't hesitate!! After several google & wedding site venue searches - this was the only venue that my now husband and I couldn't get out of our minds. It's classy and unique, nothing that a typical restaurant or hotel can give you - it's all in the details.

The Venue:
It's truly a hidden gem nestled quietly outside of the SCV. Film & television shoot here, so that should give you an idea of how creative it is. There are 4 floors. The basement level "man cave" decked out in rich leathers & mood lighting. The first floor consist of the open ballroom, library, formal dining, kitchen, breakfast nook, and 1 bed/bath in a victorian/art deco/jazz era feel. The second floor is primarily bedrooms, all unique with their own personalities and furnishings. And the newly finished top floor "bridal suite" is every girls dream! I believe we were the first or second wedding to be able to utilize this beautiful space! Not too girly, classic masculine/feminine details with lots of natural light. You could separate each floor and it could be its own house. Again, there are so many details to list from the stained glass window that opens to a balcony 2nd floor and center, to the hidden bathrooms in one of the rooms, to the 2nd floor outdoor patio with spiral staircase that connects to one of the guest rooms. This mansion has endless details and possibilities. Harry Potter meets Queen Elizabeth meets prohibition 1920s!

Adam is the general manager at the mansion and he is absolutely wonderful! Not only from a working business relationship, but he's just a great person overall. He's prompt, thorough and has an amazing turnaround for questions - via email or phone. Ask anything!

There are no words to describe this incredible venue. You must just see it to believe it. And as a bonus Adam is just AWESOME he is very professional and respectful. I highly recommend this venue. I was fortunate enough to experience the newly renovated bridal suite and let me tell you, it was just jaw dropping beautiful. The space was big enough for all my bridesmaids and immediate family to get all dolled up with me and it meant the world to share this experience with them. As a bonus the bathroom had a SAUNA. Yes, ladies a Sauna you could relax before your big day. It was amazing! Me and my husband will always carry this experience with us... it was perfect. One thing to keep in mind with this venue is that it is worth every penny. if you really think about it you save more money here than in most upscale venues. Here you're able to bring in your own liquor and your own caterer. If you choose wisely you make what you want out of it and to top it off, you work with excellent people and you have your family to share in that experience and that is truly PRICELESS.

First off let me say that working with you (Adam Brooks)at Newhall Mansion was an absolute pleasure!!!!! We couldn't have asked for you to be more accommodating, the venue was amazing, clean and everything that we had hoped for when we arrived the morning of the wedding! The entire day was simply magical and the vendors that we used were all fabulous!!! I would highly recommend any or all of them.
We used Claire's Flowers that were stunning and added to the elegance that is already present at the mansion. The food was provided by Truly Yours Caterers who is on your preferred vendor list. Their service and staff were great for both the food and bar. We used AV Party Rental for the tenting, chairs, linens,place settings, etc whom I love to work and I have worked with in the past.J&M Entertainment kept the excitement going all night whilte R&S Photography captured every moment throughout the day. Let's not forget the yummy cake provided by Jill's Cakes!!!!! All in all the experience was everything that we had hoped for and more!!!!! Our friends and family continue to talk about how beautiful everything was and what a fabulous venue the mansion is!!!!!! We will look forward to another time that we may be needing the mansion again!!!!!!!

I've been working with Adam, who manages the property. His knowledge alone on the historical venue is amazing. He has been flexible on our customized needs and been very resourceful for vendors.

He makes it feel like a magical experience while providing the package price info. I love how the place is "all inclusive." You get the venue for the weekend wedding vacation and the sky is the limit.

Newhall Mansion

When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, we thought the venue was going to be the hardest decision to make. This is because we had to take a lot of different things into account such as the distance from Los Angeles, the option to spend the night, affordability, and most of all the right atmosphere. We were worried that a place like this just didn't exist. However, we found this place pretty quickly doing internet searches and after we visited the property, we knew immediately this was what we were looking for.

Originally we had only planned to stay the night of wedding, but last minute we decided to stay the night before as well. I'm so glad we did because we were able to really appreciate everything the mansion had to offer. The rooms were comfortable, amazing looking, and super clean.

Not only is this place amazing in its self, but it is managed by Adam Brooks, who was incredibly nice and helpful. Adam was extremely organized. He had answers to all of our questions and always responded to emails very quickly. We felt he really worked with us so that our wedding day went smooth. He is very good at his job and his confidence instilled assurance in us that everything was going to be perfect, and it was!

You can't go wrong in choosing Newhall Mansion for your wedding. We are very grateful to have found this amazing place.

Perfect! I would LOVE to come back one day for another event. Our guests were all stunned by how beautiful it was and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. There is so much room that we were able to turn the downstairs tavern into a Karaoke lounge, the ballroom into a dance hall, and the outside into a movie theater for kids! I would recommend booking two nights so that you can get the most out of your stay there. You won't regret it!

When I started planning my wedding, I thoroughly researched venues for at least 2-3 months and toured quite a few locations with my fiancee. I carefully weighed out the pros and cons of each venue- price, distance, ability to bring in your own vendors, etc. After coming across the Newhall Mansion through an in depth online search, I decided to check the venue out. I went alone the first time, and I fell so much in love with it that I had to bring my fiancee with me for a second look. After viewing a few of the rooms, especially the tavern/man cave, my fiance agreed that Newhall Mansion was the perfect location for our wedding. The ability to bring in our our vendors actually saved us money!

From the very first meeting, the Newhall Mansion's management was nothing but a pleasure to work with. Over the course of the 10 months it took to plan our wedding, every email was responded to within a very timely manner and Adam at the Newhall Mansion was extremely accommodating.

This venue is amazing, just breathtaking, and it was the perfect backdrop for our classic hollywood themed nuptials. The ability to stay at the mansion overnight, following our wedding, provided some amazing memories for me, my husband, and our wedding party. As our wedding party headed to bed, my now husband and I shared one last wedding dance alone under the moonlight. *sigh*

I'll be reliving this day every day for the rest of my life. Thank you, Newhall Mansion!

As a lifelong resident of Piru, the Newhall Mansion has always been so mysterious and majestic. The history behind the mansion is enchanting, having burned and rebuilt to its originality. So, without a doubt, when choosing a venue for our wedding, my husband and I wouldn't even consider any other option.

From the moment we drove through the wrought iron gates to the second we walked in the door, we felt like we were in another world! A world we eagerly wanted to share with our family and friends. The staff was considerate, professional and helpful from inquiry to booking till checkout.

There were many options for ceremony and reception locations onsite with exquisite views of the Heritage Valley throughout. The room accommodations and decor in the Newhall Mansion was breathtaking! Which was an ideal perfect backdrop for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception.

My husband and I were very pleased and our guests were truly amazed. If we had it to do all over again, No doubt about it, we'd do it again at Newhall Mansion.

My son had his wedding at the Piru Mansion location and it was absolutley wonderful. They bent over backwards to work with us and our needs. This venue also supplied tabels and chairs as well as 7 rooms onsite that can be rented out to special guests as well as the honeymoon suite. From the very beginning, the managers at the Newhall Mansion were fabulous - they were professional, timely, and courteous. I felt very welcome on my first visit, all the way until clean-up after our wedding. The managers took their time to meet our needs, and it was very easy to work with them. The venue is spectacular, and immediately when I first walked into the mansion, I knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The house is absolutely stunning, from the gorgeous driveway to the beautiful gardens to the elaborate inside. There was plenty of storage space for us to store everything for the wedding ahead of time, we were able to use the property in whatever way we wanted to, and the guests loved the expansive nature of the mansion. There's plenty of room to walk around, explore, and overall have a joyous night. My wife and I could not have asked for a more amazing venue than Newhall Mansion. Everything about this venue is perfect, it's natural beauty, the gorgeous historical mansion, and the interior of the house is a site to see within itself. The bedrooms and bathrooms are simply beautiful, and my personal favorite, the "underground tavern", I'll let you see that for yourself, trust me, you will love it too. In addition to the Mansion and venue, the staff is great to work with, very accommodating and understanding. We worked with Adam and he could not have made our experience more enjoyable.

The layout of the mansion works great as well, we had 300 people in attendance and everyone was able to see the dance floor and watch and hear the speeches. I know all of our vendors enjoyed working with the mansion as well, especially our photographer. It was our photographers first opportunity to take pictures at the mansion and he said he has never been to or seen a venue that offered him so many different and creative photo opportunities, he definitely took advantage and we now have a photo album with so many awesome, beautiful, and creative pictures that we couldn't fit them all in TWO albums. Again, this is all due to how beautiful and cool this place is.

Overall our vendors loved it, our guest loved it, and most importantly my wife and I loved it. I highly recommend the Newhall Mansion!

There are no words to describe how special this venue is, but since words are kind of a thing with reviews, I will give it a shot: magical, romantic, mysterious, intimate, tranquil, scenic, unparalleled --- this list could go on forever.

My husband and I got married at Newhall Mansion on 5/31/14. You hear it all the time, your wedding day goes by so fast and it does. During our three day stay at the mansion, we were able to host an intimate rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding party, post-wedding breakfast, and of course, OUR WEDDING. Hosting at the Newhall Mansion allowed us so much flexibility. We were able to savor every moment with our most favorite people, as well as have a giant sleepover!

The grounds and mansion are immaculate. Prepare to be entranced by the beauty, detail and uniqueness of this place. Pictures just cannot do it justice! There are so many moods to each space but I couldn't get enough of the whimsical sea-inspired decorative details everywhere. Mermaids in stained glass anyone? There were even patina copper turtles spitting water into the pool. Don't even get me started on the 360 degree view of mountains.. This place is ridiculous.

Adam, the GM is a fantastic person to work with. His easy going and helpful attitude made so many things effortless, before, during, and after the wedding.

Do yourself a favor, BOOK NOW -- for an event, wedding, or any excuse you can make! And when you do book with the mansion, book Tricia Dahlgren. She is an expert on this location!

My fiancé and I fell in love with the Newhall Mansion from our first visit. We both felt this was the perfect place for our wedding. The Newhall Mansion is absolutely gorgeous inside and the grounds are spectacular! It gives you the privacy to celebrate your special day with all your family and guests but so close to the city. We chose this place for our wedding because it is beautiful, elegant, comfortable amenities and the incredible staff. The Newhall Mansion’s management James and Adam are so friendly and helpful. They were so easy to work with and coordinate vendor meetings, they promptly respond to your emails and calls. We booked the entire weekend so we stayed with our wedding party and close family members on Friday for our rehearsal and dinner. Saturday we woke up to the Mansion’s beautiful stainless glass sunshine and then got ready for our afternoon wedding in the garden with the reception on the patio and cake cutting inside the amazing room overlooking the front fountain. Our guests had a wonderful time as the place is truly magical. Thank you Adam for making our weekend so memorable! We had our story book wedding in this beautiful place!

From the moment I met James at a bridal show in Valencia and listened to what his venue had to offer, I knew that it was where I would want to have one of the most memorable events of my life. We met James at the Newhall Mansion and toured its grounds. The detail of the mansion was magnificent and true to its time (with of course the added modern amenities) and the landscaping was absolutely beautiful. The smile on my face spoke more than a thousand words and from that day on my wedding planning at the mansion began. James was very professional and personable. He responded to my emails and phone calls quickly and I felt like he really took an interest in me and my husband and our special day. As a new venue there were always developments and additional options that could be added; he kept us updated when these occurred. I used many of the vendors on the list he provided and were very happy with their services and professionalism as well. Closer to the wedding date we met Adam, the new manager of the mansion, and we were just as happy with him. He made the transition between managers very easy and comfortable. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!! I couldn't have asked for a better day. My bridal party got ready in the mansion that morning and we had our vendors meet us there. Adam was on the grounds the entire time and always present if we needed him. We had so many complements from our family and friends. The night of the wedding our families had full access to the mansion. We stayed the night in its rooms and were able make breakfast the next morning; which gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy each other’s company and enjoy our surroundings. I would relive my wedding day a million times over! The Newhall Mansion is a unique gem and Adam and James were amazing to work with.

What an incredible venue!! My Wife and I got married here on 2/8/14 and could not be happier with the way everything worked out. Adam was incredible to work with and was very responsive to phone calls and emails.

Every one of our guests has reached out to express what a beautiful venue we had for our special day - ranting and raving about how beautiful everything was... again, thanks to Newhall Mansion it made our day that much more special!

We had a wedding and a rehearsal as well as a rehearsal dinner at the mansion. It is an exquisite place to host any event. Then the wedding party spent the night there as well. The management team is very responsive to phone calls as well as emails. I can't say enough about the mansion as a whole, the facility, the surroundings, all the rooms and the decor. Our families and guests were so impressed with the beauty and the bride and grooms dreams went far beyond their expectations. It is in a quiet area, no cars, horns or city distractions to ruin your ceremony. It was wonderful!

Newhall Mansion is a great and unique venue and it is by far the most beautiful and private space available in the area. Everyone who attended our wedding was thrilled to be at the mansion and commented on how great of a venue the Newhall Mansion is. James and his team are top notch professionals, it was a pleasure every time we had to meet or have any type of communication between the venue and ourselves. They do everything they can to help you plan through all of the details in order to make your event a success. Being able to stay in the mansion is another bonus added on to the value of the venue, the rooms are one of a kind, you won't find another place like it.

If you have the budget, Newhall Mansion is the best choice by far.

Our wedding was a huge success. Newhall Mansions great communication helped us make sure we were on track and ready for our big day. We received answers to questions almost immediately and James and staff were always willing to help. We were very please that our wedding went flawlessly. Our guests were completely in love with the venue, location and ambiance. Our overnight guests loved the character of their rooms and were pleased with the unlimited access of the venue. All in all, it was a night we will never forget and we will be sure to recommend this venue to a couple looking for a special place to celebrate their union.

The Newhall Mansion was the most fabulous venue I could ever have dreamt of for my wedding, and James the General Manager could not have been more of a pleasure to work with. After 9 months of wedding planning and getting to know many vendors, I can honestly say that James and the Mansion were top notch, A+, super impressive, professional, and unforgettable. I hope to have anniversary parties and family reunions there in the future-- we can't wait to go back! Not only is the Mansion and surrounding area breathtaking, James' professionalism and easy demeanor make the process of booking the venue as painless as can be. That's a huge plus for a bride handling a thousand details!

The Newhall Mansion was the perfect place for our wedding. We were able to stay the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding to spend as much time as possible in the beautiful space. The guests at the wedding were blown away with the venue and it was definitely the topic of the night. James and Greg were so helpful prior to and during the wedding. There were so many special touches that made the night perfect. My husband and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the mansion. If you are looking for a beautiful, amazing, historic, memorable, and downright fantastic venue for your special event look no further than the Newhall Mansion!

We LOVE the Newhall Mansion! We were the first wedding at the Mansion since the re-opening in Spring 2013, and we could not have chosen a more perfect place! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue! It has been nothing less than amazing since the first day we toured the mansion up until the day we checked out after our wedding event. We instantly fell in love with the staff and the breathtaking architecture inside and outside of the mansion. Not to mention the option of having the entire Mansion and its grounds for the whole wedding weekend! It was such an exciting experience to be the first wedding because we were able to see the landscape and other aspects of the Mansion transform into pure beauty and serenity! We were also able to work closely with the General Manager (James Tashjian) to figure out what sort of things would work best for our wedding and future weddings to come. We cannot thank James enough for everything he did to make our wedding day so perfect and special! We truly have an enormous love for this wonderful Mansion and its fabulous staff! We would recommend this venue, and have already recommended this venue to people enquiring for a wonderful place to celebrate their wedding day!

My now husband and I rented out the Mansion for our wedding weekend. All our family stayed with us and it was one of the best weekends of our lives! We want to rent it out for Thanksgiving again we had so much fun. Everything from the accommodations to the staff were amazing. Adam and James were so helpful every step of the way and were always helping accommodate any of our needs. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful and every guest was in awe of the beauty it had to offer. After a long search all over Southern California for our perfect wedding venue, we knew the minute we got to the mansion that it was the one. The unique part of the mansion is that we get to stay there and make a weekend out of it. We enjoyed our rehearsal dinner there and had the most wonderful time the day of the wedding getting ready, as well as, brunch the Sunday morning after. We were able to enjoy all it had to offer for 3 wonderful days. I would recommend the mansion to anyone and everyone. I cannot say enough good things about the mansion and the staff!!!!

Newhall Mansion felt Magical

We found the Newhall Mansion on Wedding Wire back in 2019 and upon arrival immediately fell in love with the aesthetic. The grounds are huge and offer a wide variety of photo opportunities and makes you feel like you are in another time. When Covid hit we were able to work with Adam and team to pivot to a new date that worked for everyone at no added cost or stress to us.

The amazing support staff from the catering, to admin to our phenomenal wedding coordinator Chelsea were all top notch. Chelsea Romero, from Tricia Dahl events created our entire wedding timeline and paid attention to every detail imaginable. On the day of the wedding we had nothing to worry about as everything was at our finger tips and she was there with answers.

One thing that we most loved about the venue was the freedom you have of staying at the place you are getting married. We were able to have our grandparents and immediate family stay in the mansion with us and it made it so easy all weekend. I would highly recommend giving the venue a visit if you are unsure, as soon as you arrive you will be captivated.

I think I have put off review the Newhall Mansion only because I have to admit that my amazing wedding is over. I cannot say enough good things about Adam and the team at the Mansion. This could not have been a more perfect venue for my needs. Every time I visited, I knew I had picked the right place. My bridesmaids/groomsmen/parents all stayed together before and after the wedding and it was just such a relaxing experience - we were all together, yet all had our individual rooms to retreat to if we need. I didn't have to worry about someone being late to the day of, because we are all there bright and early. Adam made sure we felt like we were home, which made it all the harder to leave.
The grounds are all well maintained, and they were accommodating to moving the arch for me (which the place comes with an arch - many of my friends had to pay for that for their weddings). You can tables and chairs (also a bonus) and you get full use of the Mansion for the entire weekend - including catering putting all the leftovers in the fridge after for you to enjoy (yet again, my friends couldn't get their leftovers since their venues didn't have fridges for their use). My only complaint is that I wish I could have enjoyed it for longer after the wedding - the "man cave" looked amazing and I was so jealous that my husband got to hang out there all day. 3D Movies, video games, dart board - the only thing we thought it needed was a pool table - but then my husband might not have come out for the wedding.
My favorite part was the bridal suite (well except that I got my exercise all weekend going up and down those stairs). The whole house is very dark wood - which I love, but the bridal suite was designed with the bride in mind. All light and airy - beautiful display windows, chandeliers, mini kitchen, and dress steamers (thank god for those!). It was so beautiful in the photos. BRAVO to the Mansion, you made my dream wedding happen!

We just had the wedding of our dreams at the Newhall Mansion. Adam was the absolute best person to have worked with from day one when we toured this beautiful venue! He answered every question I had in a timely matter and went above and beyond for us the weekend of our wedding. We also are so happy we hired chef Jesse Brockman & his catering team. The food at our wedding was phenomenal! It was not typical wedding food at all, it was what we would find at one of our favorite restaurants! The guests raved about it! Lastly, Krista, Tricia and their event coordinating team were crucial in executing our vision with precision & grace! I can't imagine what the day would have looked like without their experience & efforts. We are so happy with the entire experience we had at the Newhall Mansion for the biggest weekend of our lives. Our friends and family say it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and this venue and team were a huge part or that. Thank you Newhall Mansion & team! <3

I loved this venue because your wedding becomes a weekend celebration and your wedding party can stay with you at the mansion to celebrate. Adam, the venue manager, is very easy to work with and very accessible. He knows the venue very well and I also highly recommend using vendors that have worked at the mansion in the past it will make your life a lot easier.

This is a real gem. My daughter chose this venue as the place to have her wedding reception. We booked the mansion a year ahead of the wedding. We enjoyed working with Adam very much. He was responsive to all of our phone calls, emails and texts!! The mansion does not need much decoration, as the property speaks for itself!! You will not be disappointed having your private party at this jewel of a place.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than the Newhall Mansion! There is something seriously magical about this place. First off the location is gorgeous and has multiple sites within the property to make use of. We were able to give our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception very different feels due to the versatility of the event space. It was also wonderful that we were able to get ready in the location with the bridal party and stay overnight with our families. In the morning we were even able to have a send-off brunch in the beautiful ballroom. Additionally, the manager is fantastic and really works to accomodate you and help with last minute details. We were definitely able to have the wedding of our dreams at the Newhall Mansion.

When looking for a wedding venue we only visited one and then were sold. We happily chose the Newhall Mansion for our wedding. It made the whole event! The managers were so courteous and helpful through every step of our planning. They helped us choose the right option for us. With the option we chose we had the whole mansion to ourselves on the wedding day and then stayed overnight with 18 of our bridal party and friends. Adam and James walked us through everything from where people usually set up the ceremony to where to set up the stage for our band. They never made me feel like I was an obnoxious and worried bride! The ambiance at the mansion is amazing and so many of our guests enjoyed their time outside at the reception and exploring the inside of the mansion. The venue sets the whole feel of the wedding, and while a little more expensive, it was completely worth it.
