Viktorya worked on my dress alterations and made sure it fit like an absolute dream! She was so talented, kind, and attentive to every detail, and I felt so confident and beautiful on our wedding day because of her. Caroline helped us create the most perfect custom suit, and her expertise and guidance made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. The suit looked amazing and fit perfectly, and the groom felt so comfortable and sharp! A Dream Come True
I went wedding dress shopping for the first time today and it was such an incredible experience! The shop is beautiful and they have the most gorgeous dresses. I truly think that any bride could find THE dress here. I did!!! Everyone was so wonderful to work with, especially Sarah. She went above and beyond to understand what I liked and disliked about each dress, and helped me with getting every dress on. I felt like an absolute princess here, and the entire staff made the entire experience a dream come true. I highly recommend this boutique to anyone looking for their perfect dress!!!

Quality Gorgeous Dress !
I went to so many places to look for my dress and they were all cheap quality and all the same. Finally I went to New York bridal and they had so many different dresses you could tell the quality was top-notch and the place is beautiful and they treated you like a queen. I absolutely love my dress it was a little bit more than the other places but worth every penny and that’s because the quality of the place and the quality of the dress was much higher. Everyone loved my dress the alterations manager is amazing I liked her a lot! My alterations were not a lot of money and they were done perfectly my dress had to be taken in to fit my mid waist and my butt. My dress was perfect. The woman who helps me in my dress for my fitting and my final feeling was amazing she had an accent and she showed me how to bustle my dress and helped me take a video. This video came in handy the day of my wedding for my daughter and my matron of honor to help bustle my dress it was a great idea to video it! I had a great experience at New York Bride and Groom in Charlotte. They don't take appointments, and they don't rush you. I went three times to try on different styles as I changed my mind, and Joanne was so kind and patient with me, listening to what I wanted, finding the dresses that meant my criteria, and then even encouraging me to try on different styles to make sure 100% that my chosen style was what I wanted. I am a perfectionist and probably spent over 2 hours there each time, and Joanne was patient and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She gave me tips and things to think about, based on her experience, and I felt like she treated me as a mom would treat her daughter, as my mom was not able to be there to help me pick out my dress. When I found my favorite dress but didn't like the neckline, she had the idea to call the manufacturer and ask about different necklines and design options, which I ultimately ended up doing. I now have my dream dress ordered! I cannot think Joanne enough for her helpfulness snd professionalism, and the entire staff was so kind and helpful. I will be going back to order my veil and accessories. This is a great store! Highly recommend.

Great one stop shop for your wedding dress!
NYB&G did such a great job with everything! I love that you don't need an appointment to shop. I bought my dress from them, and they provided all the other services-- from altering, to cleaning, to pressing, to preserving it. My gown was beautiful and reasonably priced. My only regret was that they did not show me every single type of veil that they had. I bought a short beaded veil from NYB&G, but I wish I had seen the veil with lace embellishments. I ended up borrowing a different veil from my friend that had the lace embellishments, which looked so much better with my dress than the veil I had originally purchased from NYB&G. Overall, I was pleased with NYB&G and definitely recommend them for your wedding dress!

Everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful. I went on a weeknight so they were not very busy and were able to accommodate my party of 8 family members! There was plenty of room for our group and everyone had a great time. Brooke was my stylist and she was amazing! They have a great selection of dresses and the process is very low pressure. I purchased my dress and veil from here and had a great experience!

The best wedding dress experience ever!
Due to COVID, I first went to their Columbia, SC location to dress shop back in the Spring. The team was so easy to work with and they had a TON of dresses. I had so much fun trying on different ones-- and there was zero pressure from the staff (I could try on as many as I wanted and they helped without being on top of me, which I appreciated). When I found my dress, they said they would ship it to their Charlotte location for me to make my fittings easier. The alteration staff was also fantastic. My dress turned out beatifully and fit so well. I received many compliments on it!

So. I put off going to New York Bride and Groom. I wanted the "traditional" bridal boutique experience. And I went and got it... and then went to New York Bride and Groom. I was truly blown away. Yes- there are a ton a dressed. BUT, there are a ton of dresses. and you can try on until your heart is content. Plus no pushy sales people breathing down your neck, but helpful salespeople who will point you in the direction you think you want to go. I tried on my dress and knew it was the one. Through alterations and pickup they were so wonderful! I had such a great experience there!

I love my dress
They have beautiful selection of beautiful wedding dresses and grooms tux and suits. They have a great service for tailoring wedding dresses. Also they made the tux and suit rentals easy for my husband and the groomsmen.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about New York Bride & Groom! Ms. Tracy and Ms. Joanne are amazing, sweet, knowledgeable, professional ladies! Another dress boutique had me feeling very disheartened and defeated, and these ladies turned my sad tears into tears of joy! They listened to what I wanted in a dress, gave me a tour of the store where I could see countless gorgeous dresses by well-known designers hanging everywhere, and pulled such spot-on gowns for me to try, that I fell in love with the very first one I put on. I had a special request to wear a nontraditional color, which required a little research on their part, to determine if they could get that dress in my requested color, and they didn't shy away from that. They called me back the next business day, and are having the dress custom made for me! I am pleased and impressed beyond description! I'm so excited for this process and to have a gorgeous, unique, dress made just for me! I have been so over the moon with my experience here so far, I convinced my fiance to have his suit custom made here, as well. You will not find a more extensive, breathtaking selection of gowns nor superior customer service anywhere!

This place is Amazing
So I first went to NYB&G a Year ago for a Tux for my engagement photos and Cory has been the one helping me out ever since. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are looking your best. You can tell he really loves and care about what he does. He gets to know you personally and will give you his opinions on a tux. Today I decided to get a Custom Tux for my wedding and he had me looking so sharp I might be looking better than my wife to be. Thank God for Cory he really helped me out with one of the most important days of my life and I'll always be grateful for him.

Affordable dress, quick ordering and alterations!
Visited here twice and the prices were much better than any other bridal salon in the area. I was able to order it quickly and it came in almost a month early. They communicated well and it was easy to set up alteration appointments. The seamstress wasn’t super friendly or helpful but everyone else was nice and very helpful.

New York Bride and Groom provided us with custom tuxedos for the groom, groomsmen, and father of the bride. We were impressed with the variety of tuxedos, customizable options, and the ease of ordering the tuxedos for the out of town groomsmen. New York Bride and Groom took great care of us, we even got the groom's tuxedo free for renting five other tuxedos from them. We highly recommend New York Bride and Groom, their customer service and variety of tuxedos/suits is what made us choose them over several other places.

We originally planned on going to 4 different dress shops the day we went shopping, I went to NY Bride and Grooms first as they did not take appointments. I was nervous I was going to be fighting for a dressing room, and I wouldn't get much attention. That could not be further from the truth, though. Because I got there early I got a nice dressing room with the seating for my guests, there were also 2 attendants in my area there were helping 3/4 people. They were attentive and extremely helpful in cinching, buttoning, and getting the dress together before going out and showing my friends/family. Them helping the other girls did not take away from my experience at all. They have an amazing selection, so I ended up canceling my other appointments and got my dress through them. My only suggestion is to get there when they open so you can get a good dressing room with the mirrors and seating! :)

So Accommodating and Fun!
We worked with Joanne as our consultant and absolutely LOVED her. She was so friendly and helpful, and truly enjoyed her job! The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic! So many times they would walk by and genuinely say how beautiful they thought I looked in my gown. The inside of this boutique is very clean and beautifully decorated. There is such a fun wall to take your “I said yes!” photos in front of! When my dress came in from Allure, it was in the wrong color, with little time until my wedding day. While this was devistating when it happened, it was not in any way the fault of New York Bride and Groom. They helped me continuously and consistently, and spoke to Allure many times on my behalf about this. The stylists there are very considerate and empathetic, and helped me fix this situation in the best way possible. This situation with the dress truly could have made this fun time so sad, but New York Bride and Groom used it to provide even better service then they already had the chance to. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend any bride coming! A great selection of dresses and just the best experience ever here!

This was our first stop to find my gown. Joanne was amazing and worked with me to find a gown that was in my budget and similar to the styles I liked on my Pintrest board. I loved the first dress I tried on and bought it that same day even though we had an appointment at David's Bridal (which we called them and had them change it to a Bridesmaids appointment instead). Glad we did- I would've never gotten the same personalized treatment in such a welcoming environment that I did at NY Bride and Groom. Also, can't beat the mimosas on Saturday!

NY Bride & Groom has some of the best prices in the area. I was able to walk through the whole store without worrying about picking a dress that was way out of my price range. I found my dream gown and alterations did a fabulous job at making it fit me perfect!
My husband and his groomsmen also rented from the rental department and they looked like a thousand bucks! Much better fit than he's ever had from a men's warehouse suit!

I absolutely love how relaxed the environment is in New York Bride and Groom. I went in thinking I was just trying on for style purposes and left knowing exactly which dress I am getting married in. The ladies that work there are so kind and helpful, and want to help in any way! My dress was a perfect fit, I literally didn’t get it altered AT ALL. I should add that I had more of an elopement style wedding, so it being a bit long did not bother me. We ordered my dress and it came in in about 5 months. My husband ordered his tux from here as well, and the service was amazing!

Just wow! I really can't begin to describe how incredible my experience at NY Bride and Groom was. I was fortunate to have Joanne as my consultant. She was patient and really knew what kind of dress I was looking for. I tried on about 10-15 dresses and she was helpful and honest with how they looked. The whole atmosphere as soon as you walk in is inviting. The dresses are easy to look at and well organized. As I was trying on, what felt like the millionth dress, I happened to look up and see someone carrying a new gown to the display floor, I pointed it out and Joanne ran and grabbed it for me. She had me try on about 2-3 more dresses and finally I put 'my' dress on! I didn't even make it to the mirror outside of the fitting room before I cried and just knew it was my dress! The best part about this salon is that you can go through the racks and pick out whatever you want to try on! They still have people to help you and pull suggestions, but it's great for those who want to be more hands on in the process. Their alterations department also does a great job.

I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!! Joann was simply the best!! I went in to browse dresses with one of my best friends and Joann made me feel so comfortable, beautiful, and she picked out dresses and styles that were perfect for me. I lost my mom over a year ago and Joann was there for all the tears, the happy ones and the ones of picking out a dress without my mom by my side. Thank you Joann for being there for me!!
Then, I came back with my Aunts and future sister in law. Joann had my room ready for me and when she opened the curtain there was my best friend!! They surprised me and made my day!! To say this was an amazing experience and memory is an understatement!! I can't thank Joann enough for all she's done for me, my family, and my friends!! What an amazing day, one that I will never forget!!

NY B&G was the first place I ever went to shop for dresses. I had no intention of finding "the dress" that day but I did! The girls were so helpful and were able to answer any questions I had! They made the process of buying super easy and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with them as I get alterations in the coming months!

When I walked in this store, I knew I would find my dress. The quality, service and pricing was no comparison to the other bridal shops that I'd visited! I could actually afford a beautiful and quality dress! I was so very happy with my dress selection and appreciate all the help the staff at NY Bride and Groom provided!

I can not say how thrilled I am to have the great experience that I did with New York Bride and Groom. I purchased a Mori Lee wedding gown in April 2017 for my June 2018 wedding. I was notified that it arrived in August 2017 (much quicker than I expected). I started my alterations in Jan 2018 and completed them just before my wedding (May 2018). I ended up having about 5 alterations appointments because I added beading and a belt which both needed secured onto the dress. My experience at NYBG was phenomenal. I would highly recommend. They have SO many dresses to choose from. Everyone who works there are friendly and always willing to help.

I loved my experience with NY B&G! I found the perfect dress, and it was the only place I looked. They do not take appointments, so we went during the day on a Friday. This was a great choice since there was only 1 other bride there at the same time as me, so I basically had 2 consultants to myself! I had a decently large group with me, and they handled all the opinions so well. They helped me try on about 15 dresses, and one of the consultants actually picked the winner!
The alterations department was also fantastic. They have odd hours, but they do work by appointment, so I never had an issue. My dress had a lot of delicate bead work along the bottom and needed to be shortened. It came out perfect!!

I found my dress here the first day I started looking. It was our third stop of the day, and definitely had the best variety of dresses in every size, shape, color, & style. So many to choose from! The staff was amazing and friendly and not pushy at all. Such a relaxed vibe. Destiny was AMAZING. She addressed every question and concern I had. She absolutely went above and beyond! I wouldn’t have found my perfect dress without her! Love this place. Terrific plus size selection as well.

This place is amazing! Make this your first stop. If you want a relaxing wonderful experience go here! At New York Bride & Groom you get to grab the dresses off the rack yourself and they provide you a dressing room plenty big enough for the dresses and your entourage (if desired). The ladies there don't push anything on you whether it be a dress, accessories or a veil. I went back a few days later to re-try on "the gown" that another bridal store talked me out of and the lady helping even remembered us from the busy weekend. She was so helpful in pulling other dresses that I might like and even called the designer of a sash to see if they had any more (since they were discontinued). It was such a wonderful experience compared to the other stores I went.

My experience at NY Bride and groom was nothing short of amazing. From first contact to saying yes to my dress, everyone was very helpful. I called and worked with Tori to have a loaner dress sent to the store for me to try on. I decided to go on a weekday while traveling for work so that I could avoid the weekend rush --- such a great decision! On my first visit Alicia and Joanne helped me select and try on dresses that matched what I was looking for. At that point, I knew I had found my dress but wanted to have my mom and sisters see it as well. I went back 2 days later with my entourage in tow. The store was a completely different atmosphere - very crowded, very busy, but just as friendly. This time JoJo helped me try on my favorites while juggling at least 1 other bride, and was great! Thanks NY Bride and Groom! I'll be back with the rest of my wedding party!

I purchased my dress at New York Bride & Groom and had a fantastic experience. They were very accommodating to my needs and provided great service and my dress came in so quick!! NY Bride & Groom has the most options I had ever seen at any bridal shop. Though you cannot make an appointment to shop, I went right as they opened on a weekend and was immediately assisted by one of their many consultants. I was able to walk through their seemingly endless selection of dresses and try on as many as I wanted. There are no time limits, because there are no appointment times for trying on dresses! It was the perfect setting for me to take my time and pick my dream dress. The alterations department is just as amazing! I live 6+ hours away from the store, so I knew alterations may be a challenge, but I was adamant on keeping my dress in the hands of the professionals at NY Bride & Groom. At my final dress fitting, there were some issues and the dress needed more alterations. Unfortunately, I was unable to return after this date. They made the alterations that same day within an hour of my original appointment! Amazing customer service, largest dress selection, affordable prices -- what more could you ask for?! Without hesitation, I would 100% recommend NY Bride & Groom!

As a bride in my early 20's I was worried about not being taken seriously; however, everyone in the shop was kind and extremely accommodating. I loved the unique style of the shop- although they offer assistance whenever needed, they give you the freedom to choose 6 dresses on your own for your first round and give you privacy to dress yourself. My dress was the first one I tried on! Very affordable (most dresses I saw were within the $800-$2,000 range) and incredible quality! With the freedom to shop and excellent service when needed I would highly recommend shopping here!

My experience with New York Bride Charlotte was FABULOUS!! The staff was so incredibly attentive even when the place was bustling with brides and their families. The girl who helped us the most even remembered me when I came back 6 months later for alterations! They have so many dresses in different styles, sizes, and prices. As a plus sized bride I was having a tough time finding the dress I wanted within my budget. New York Bride had so many options for my needs. I only tried on 2-3 dresses in the store before I found the one!! The dress was better than I had pictured and lower than my budgeted amount. The alterations department was great and incredibly affordable!! I would highly recommend New York Bride to anyone looking for a bridal gown, particularly plus sized brides. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the selection was great!!

I walked into this salon with a very set vision of what I wanted. The team greeted me at the door and was quick to take me back and look through gowns. They pulled 8 gowns, and the very first one ended up being my dress. The consultant was amazing, and brought me different accessories to try on. The dress came in within 3 months and I just came in for my first fitting. It's so nice to walk in and see the same faces I saw when I came into the store 6 months ago. The seamstress was nothing but complimentary and sweet, and helped show me exactly how the dress would fit. I would give this place 10 stars if possible. Absolutely amazing customer service from the greeters to the consultants to the seamstress. It's been such a relief to work with NYB&G and I can't wait to wear my dress!

I had a great experience looking for my dress here. They are very helpful but allow you to look on your own if that's what you prefer. I tried on around 4-5 dresses before finding the one I loved. The value is better than anywhere else I looked. They also alter the dress for you on site, set up all of your appointments and hold the dress for you until you're ready to pick it up for your wedding day (which is helpful is you have a small closet at home). I also needed a last minute alteration and they were so kind, fit me in immediately and made the dress fit exactly as I wanted it!

Would absolutely recommend this bridal shop to any bride for bridal gowns and/or bridesmaid dresses! They are so helpful but not overwhelming so you do not feel pressured. No appointment required and they still are able to assist you at any time. Went to this shop multiple times and found a dress I liked each time until I found the one! What a great experience! I was able to try on as many dresses as it took to find THE ONE. Then after I purchased the dress I get a surprise pregnancy to throw a wrench in my wedding dress plans. I had the baby 2 months before the wedding and they were able to get the alterations done in time for me to wear my dream dress to my wedding. Then at the last minute (2 weeks before the event) my grandmother gave me hand made lace by my great grandmother to incorporate into my dress. They added it to the veil without hesitation and it came out beautiful. Their sales and alterations team are both truly fantastic and I highly recommend them to anyone.

My bridesmaids lived in multiple states, so when they were all in town for my bridal shower we made a trip to this store that morning. They have a huge selection which made it so easy to find a dress that all of my bridesmaids liked. I asked them to each pick out one they liked and then we narrowed it down from those. The salespeople were helpful, but not at all pushy. We picked out a dress and were out the door with all of the orders placed within an hour and a half. I highly recommend NY Bride and Groom!

I found my dress at NY Brid & Groom during my lunch hour. I wasn't intending to find one during the 45 minutes I was there but was estatic when I did.

This dress store is AMAZING! When I was researching wedding dresses online that I wanted to try on, this place had just about every one of them in store!! (Which was not the case with a lot of other boutiques). The dress I purchased from here was very intricate and the alterations department at NYB&G was able to fix any little thing with easy in the most professional manner! Definitely the best bridal boutique I've ever been to! And best selection of Plus Size Dresses EVER! And trust me - most places, you'll get slim pickin's! They don't take appointments, so you're not being rushed by some pushy sales woman to get a dress that doesn't even flatter you! All of the dresses are out of the bags so you can actually SEE the details! I know! What a concept! Once you pick out ones you like, you let someone in the dressing area know you're going to use a room and they'll just be close by so you can shout for help if you need it! It was such a relaxed experience and I felt like it was actually about ME and not Mrs. Commissions at every other place.
Oh, and when it came to alterations - I always had the same girl and she was so nice, friendly and made really awesome suggestions about the changes in my dress. It made it perfect for me and my body type! They also don't charge you an arm and a leg for every little thing!

After having no luck after going to the national wedding dress retailer and only being able to try on 3 dresses per appointment (we all know where I'm talking about) we ventured to New York Bride and Groom. It may not be in the best area but it's well worth it to be able to get great service and find the perfect dress. I loved that there was no appointment - some people had an issue with this but I went on weeknights and had no trouble getting all the help I needed. I was able to try on countless dresses and did not have to have someone helping me at all times, though they were always there when needed. Mona helped me the first time I came in and was absolutely the best. She gave me no pressure at all and did not push my budget whatsoever which was a relief after another retailer pressured me to buy a dress much outside it.

I loved going here. I had my 3 sisters, mom and friend with me to go shopping. My family doesn't visit, they invade. New York Bride and Groom took all of my people with a blink of the eye and accommodated all of us. I love that they don't require an appointment, we were able to shop around and once I found dresses to try on someone helped me. I was terrified of going dress shopping since I'm plus sized, but they found plenty of dresses that fit. Even if the dress didn't quite fit they helped me see what it would look like in my size. I had such a great time here. My family is from all over the states and we spent well over 2.5 hours here. Even though we were there for so long we were never rushed and always had someone helping me to get in and out of the dresses. The place is clean and pretty, and they have an incredible selection. I ended up buying my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses here. At the end of the experience I was told by them that they loved listening to my family talk about my dresses. I admit I was a little skeptical of the fact that the salon did not take appointments but after my morning there and an afternoon at a store that did take appointments I realized I was very wrong. I don't think in any of my dealings with the salon I have ever spoken to anyone who was not extremely kind and helpful.
When I went to try dresses on I felt like I had all of the help I could ever need and zero pressure to buy anything. I was also very pleased with the range in dress prices as well as the huge selection. Needless to say I got my dress here and the entire process was so easy. My alterations were spot on and all the changes I needed were done without any issue. The dress was pressed and ready when I needed it and I was able to bring it after the wedding for preservation with a coupon I didn't realize I had. It was about $180 to get it preserved and they fixed the broken loops used to bustle the back of the dress for free for me. I love this place and would recommend it to everyone for their dress!
My now husband also got his tux here as well as his best man who ordered his tux online. Neither of them had any issues and they both looked great! Reasonably priced and again the staff was very helpful

Best experience! I had been to several dress shops before finding this one and I was truly impressed with the service, selection and prices. The fact that there are NO Appointments was also a big difference setting them apart from other places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought my dress there and my best friend found hers there as well. I highly recommend them!

After a few traditional consultation appointments at some local bridal boutiques in Raleigh, with no success, I found NY Bride & Groom in Charlotte. Their showroom is huge and their selection of dresses is amazing, especially when you check our their prices (fair and lower than most bridal shops)! I loved the ability to pull my own dresses from the rack and try them on one after the other without a consultant trying to convince me of how great I looked. Once I had found my dress, their alterations team was fantastic as they worked with me on a slim timeline and as an out of town bride. Go figure they opened a Raleigh shop the weekend before my wedding!
My dress fit perfectly and it was so unique – exactly what I was looking for!

A friend recommended I go to New York Bride and Groom to look for bridesmaids dresses. The staff who helped us were very sweet and flexible. NY Bride and Groom had some of the greatest selections in the Charlotte area. It was hard to believe that such beautiful dresses at understandly affordable dresses existed. I found my dress my second visit and had amazing help every time I entered the store. The workers are so kind and helpful and they made you feel welcome. When I found out I had to move my wedding date up 6 months due to my husband's deployment, I was so worried I wouldn't be able to have my dress in time for alterations but when I called and explained, the workers there tried so hard and were able to get my dress within 2 weeks at no charge! It was so unbelievable how wonderful they were throughout the whole process and would recommend this store to anyone I know in the Charlotte area getting married!!!

It was so easy to work with NY Bride & Groom to get my bridal gown and all six of our bridesmaids dresses. All my bridesmaids live in different cities and this was never an issue ordering from the same dye lot and getting the dresses quickly delivered. The staff is incredibly helpful and so delightfully friendly. I had a custom piece made for my wedding day and they handled it so professionally and had it done in time and under budget. What more could I ask for? I love this team!

When I went the first time to see dresses at this place all the dresses were in bags had a hard time choosing a dress. The second time I went back to the store all the dresses were out of the bags but I had already purchased a dress with a horrible customer service at the other place! I really wished I would of waited to get my dress with New York bride and groom because the customer service was amazing they were very friendly helping out the first time I went to try on dresses! I only bought my veil there amz loved it but I wished I would of bought my dress there too! I recommend this place to everyone!!

Absolutely incredible! After a morning in a small stuffy salon, NY Bride and Groom was a breath of fresh air. I was able to shop at my leisure, everyone was helping me find dresses that complimented my figure, and everyone (even the other shoppers) made me feel incredible in every dress I walked out in. They had a huge selection and I never felt pressure to pick anything that they recommended. I would recommend them to absolutely EVERYONE.

I went to the Raleigh location and had a GREAT experience. I was a little skeptical when I pulled up to the shopping center, but the inside of the salon is gorgeous - it was like stepping into another world. I loved the flexibility to be able to walk in without an appointment, and did not feel rushed to be within a certain period of time. I had personalized help while picking out dresses and plenty of assistance while trying them on. The staff was friendly and responsive, and the samples were in excellent condition. The dresses were also high-quality, but value-priced. I would recommend New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh to anyone!

We went last week to find a dress for my wedding which is in a little over 6 months and we had a great time! When you first see the building you may not think it will be a top notch salon, but the inside is so gorgeous. They have dresses from all the top designers and they are fully staffed so you can ask anyone questions. It was a little overwhelming at first since there's so many dresses and they really let you do things by your self, but I ended up really liking that since they don't rush you nor do they try to "sell" you a certain dress. My future sister-in-law helped me get into all the dresses, and I liked that much more than having a consultant help. You were able to take any many pictures as you would like, which I guess is not allowed at many bridal salons. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on after I tried on many, and they were so helpful with the ordering and any questions I had. I also LOVED the price! They're known for selling top designer dresses at their lowest allowed manufacturer's price. Once I got home I was a little scared about our time frame and the dress getting here on time, so I gave them a call and they got into contact with Maggie Sottero while I was on the phone, and reassured me it would be here with months to spare. I can't wait to get my dress in so I can go back to this great place!

This place was awesome! It was the only place I went to to find my dream dress. I tried on around 10 dresses but the one I said "Yes!" to was the 2nd one I tried on! The staff was amazing. As I tried my dress on the lady assisting me put a veil and a headband on me... I FELT LIKE KATE MIDDLETON DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE! It was incredible. They said it would take around 6 months for my dress to arrive but it arrived within a month! They stored my dress until I needed it (they kept it for about a year) Then they pressed it and had it ready for me! Amazing.

We started out only looking for my wedding dress, and ended up coming back two other times to pick out bridesmaid dresses and to rent tuxes for our groomsmen. I tried dresses on at several stores, but feel at home with New York Bride. It's a completely stress free environment where you can pull whichever dress you want and no appointment is necessary. Have already recommended NY Bride to two friends and will continue to do so. It's so helpful to be able to see your dress, your bridesmaid dresses, and your grooms tux all in one place and the prices are competitive too!

I said yes to the dress this past weekend at NY Bride and Groom! They were very helpful, even on a busy Saturday! I got set up with a dressing room right away and had enough room to feel comfortable with my guests. They have a great selection all at great prices!!! Highly recommended!!!

I can't possibly speak more highly of NY Bride and Groom! I don't live in Charlotte and neither do my bridesmaids so I was nervous about what shop to go to when we only had one day to come together to find a dress! I am SO glad I picked this one. We arrived on a Saturday morning first thing. There happened to be a trunk show that day and if I selected a dress from the trunk show rack it was 10% off + a free veil. It turns out the one I fell in love with was from that selection which was really exciting.
The whole time, the girl who was helping me was so friendly, not salesy at ALL, totally honest and made me so comfortable! She was totally complimenting and helpful. All the girls who worked there were super professional. The lighting was great and there was plenty of seating for both mothers and two of my friends. There is a huge selection of dresses, so it was really fun to try on trumpet styles, mermaid styles, princess styles, etc even though I knew I wanted a ballroom gown. The whole experience from start to finish was just so lovely. Must visit!!!

They were wonderful to work with. It was such an adventure trying to find my dress. I ended up trying on 60 of them. We were doing bridesmaids dresses and the associate brought over a rouched charmeuse mermaid dress to hold up to the bridesmaids dresses and I tried it on for the fun of it, and it was the one! I came in and tried it on many times waiting for it to arrive and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We also got the bridesmaids dresses from them and it was hassle free. My girls lived all over the country and things went very smoothly. They absolutely have the best price on their dresses. I did my research and price shopped. I am very glad to have purchased my dress from them.

I am SO happy I chose NY Bride! You don't need to look anywhere else. They helped me picked an absolutely perfect dress, ordered the size available in my short engagement time frame, and happily performed the tricky alterations necessary to make it fit. With my mom/sister living 8 hours away, the NY Bride staff were like family to me during the whole process and couldn't have been kinder. New York Bride & Groom was the first place I actually went dress shopping, and at the time, I didn't really know what type of dress I wanted or what style was best for my body shape. New York Bride & Groom was a perfect place to start because I didn't have to have an appointment, no one rushed me, I didn't feel pressured to only try on 1 or 2 dresses, and the sales people were really helpful. The prices were very reasonable too (my dress was less than $1,000). I ended up finding my dress that first day and coming back a few months later to purchase (after visiting much less-friendly stores). My dress took about 6 months to come in, and they shipped it to me right away (shipping was a flat fee of $50). I was concerned that they hadn't called me to confirm the shipping address (I only got an email notifying me that it had shipped), and the package didn't require signature, but it worked out just fine. My dress was exactly what I had ordered, and the sizing was perfect. I highly recommend checking out New York Bride & Groom.

They have a large verity of wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and tuxes. This was the first dress shop I went to and this is were I found "my dress"! no appointment is needed, but there are plenty of knowledgeable staff to help you. They have seamstresses there to help alter your dress as needed before your big day, and helpful staff to make sure every detail is taken care of. I highly recommend this bridal shop.

I HIGHLY recommend New York Bride & Groom if you are looking for the wedding dress of your dreams! This is a great little business that started in Syracuse, NY and now has a location in Charlotte, NC. It was originally recommended to me by my sister-in-law, who went to high school with the owner in Syracuse, and heard that their inventory was phenomenal. Man, she was sooooo right! Their costumer service was excellent as well. Any time I called or went into a store, everyone was kind, friendly, and best of all: not pushy (which is hard to come by when you are wedding-dress-shopping). The dresses range in prices, but are affordable and beautiful, quality gowns. Please do yourself a favor and check this store out!

Hands Down...the best dress store around. The staff in both sales and alterations were great. I had a custom lace top added to my dress and it turned out better than I could ever imagine. As a girl who is not a size 4, I still had endless dress options and I was made to feel so comfortable. Being self conscious was not an issue because they accommodated every need and made me feel great in every dress I tried on. I can not say thank you enough to the entire team there. I will send people there for years to come. We sure hope they come to Greenville.They are just what we need here.

I was so relieved when I found NY Bride and Groom. I had been to several bridal shops and left each one feeling ugly, less than worthy, and just plain frustrated. I had a relatively short engagement so wanted to get the dress sorted quickly and the run around and snide comments as well as pressure tactics to buy dresses I did not like were just ridiculous at other bridal stores. From the moment I walked into NY Bride and Groom I felt at ease. Erin worked with me over several visits to find the just-right-for-me dress. I bought a sample dress by Maggie Sotero ("Embrace"), that she suggested I try on. I almost didn't but am so glad I did. The dress itself was gorgeous and I got a heck of a deal on it. I am not 6 feet tall so the dress needed considerable alterations. And I had the idea to add a few sparkles here and there to give the dress a little extra oomph in the candlelight.
Krista and the ladies in the alterations department knocked it out of the park with the alterations to fit as well as adding that extra oomph I wanted and my fittings were actually fun and informative. I am so glad I found NY Bride and Groom.

By the largest and best selection of gowns in the Charlotte area. Everyone was always happy to help and very accommodating. From the first try-on, to all the times I went back, to BM dresses, groomsmen tuxs, and the fittings, they are a one stop shop and will take care of you through it all! Great space with lots of room so you dont need an apt to always stop by!
