Day of wedding coordinator
We had Vanessa as our day-of wedding coordinator and she was absolutely incredible. She made everything run so smoothly and handled every detail before/during the wedding so we could truly relax and enjoy our day. Her organization, calm presence, and support meant everything to us. Hiring Vanessa was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was organized, calm, and incredibly thoughtful—always two steps ahead and fully committed to bringing our vision to life. She handled every detail and vendor with grace, making the planning process feel smooth and stress-free.
On the day of, Vanessa was a total rockstar. Everything ran flawlessly, and we were able to fully enjoy the moment knowing she had everything under control. So many guests commented on how seamless the day was, and that’s all thanks to her.

Don’t look any further for all of your wedding/event/party/planning needs.
If you don’t want to do a thing and have someone execute all the details from start to finish, Vanessa is your girl!!! Trust me, you do not want to plan your event without her. I hired her for my wedding in California. I live in Texas so I was concerned about trying to plan and figure out logistics when I don’t live close by. Vanessa did everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. From helping with vendors, to finishing every last detail, Vanessa was the best wedding planner ever. I kept thinking how there is no way I could ever do this job because I would be so stressed out and she handled everything effortlessly. She is extremely responsive and kind. She would always take notes during our calls and next time we spoke, it was taken care of. I couldn’t have had my perfect day without her. I was able to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about a thing. If you need someone to handle everything from start to finish, & execute it flawlessly, VANESSA IS YOUR GIRL!!! She also recommended the DJ and photobooth vendors I selected and I was so happy with her recommendations that we chose them. She answered my thousands of questions & was able to guide me with every aspect when I didn’t know what I was doing. She managed to hide behind me before I walked down the isle on the beach to help hold up my cathedral veil so it didn’t get tangled in the sand. I was so so happy with her and am so thankful I found her. She even took a picture of my dad and I in a candid moment when the photographers were further down the beach and I was so thankful for this picture. She helped find ways to save money if something was too expensive and made a way to still make it possible. When you are planning a wedding, you don’t always think about the day of logisticsu and all the little things and Vanessa really shined and that area. She was able to coordinate a timeline and communicate individually with every vendor and make the day seamless without me, having to worry about anything. I’m so fortunate to have found her.

My husband and I got married last March and hired Vanessa as our wedding planner. Vanessa was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, detail oriented, conscientious, and extremely professional. So lucky to have hired Nessa for my wedding!
Nessa was an absolute dream helping us with our wedding! She provided some incredible vendor recommendations and wonderful advice, we felt in great hands! Weddings can be stressful but having Nessa there and her relaxed calming presence made such a difference. Communication was great, she was just a text or phone call away. And the venue was setup perfectly. The day was absolutely perfect, everything ran so smoothly (what more could you ask for?) and Nessa was a huge part in that. She is also able to adapt quickly, when I decided I wanted to do a grand exit and had not really thought out any of the details, she helped me execute my vision seamlessly and created the best photos!! It felt like she was truly there for us and cared about our day. My family and my new husband are so lucky to have met her and enlisted her help! -

Amazing all around!
NessaEvents was the smartest thing I did for my wedding. Vanessa was always such a calm and positive energy. She navigated my husband and I through all of the planning and decisions, removing a great deal of stress weddings have been known to create. She had great recommendations for potential vendors and was always wonderful about circling back to ensure we were connected with the venue, caterers, rental company and florist. My entire bridal party and family raved about her and truly depended on her for every little thing on the day of the wedding. This included her magic bag of emergency fixers. My dress had caught on the wheel of our bicycle pedicab and resulted in a grease line at the bottom of my dress. Vanessa was right there ready with her tide-to-go pen and I was able to make it to our reception welcome dance line spotless! Vanessa and her assistant went all out to ensure every detail was covered. For a wedding that had multiple venues connected to the day, my husband I were beyond impressed with her attention to detail and organization. I highly recommend NessaEvents for your wedding. Not only will you get someone well versed in wedding / event planning, but also someone who is friendly, personable and professional in every aspect. -

Dream wedding!!!
We hired Vanessa to do our wedding at The 1909 and it was everything we ever dreamed. She was friendly, available, and on top of every detail. We looked to her guidance throughout most of the process and felt taken care of the entire way through. We can't thank Vanessa enough for her incredible work as our wedding coordinator. She was there for us every step of the way, from helping us to navigate through complicated family dynamics, to providing a detailed timeline that kept us on track, to being flexible to any last-minute changes that came her way.
Vanessa was always available to answer any and all of our questions and provided helpful recommendations for how we should think about our wedding. She provided valuable insights and helped us to stay within our budget.
On the day of the wedding, Vanessa was a true heroine, taking care of every little detail with ease and grace. No job was too small for her, and she was always ready to lend a hand -- carrying things for us, helping to pin the boutonniere on my husband, checking in with our other vendors and making sure that everything ran smoothly.

Vanessa is amazing! We worked with Vanessa on partial wedding planning and day-of coordination. We changed our wedding plans midway through the planning process and Vanessa did not bat an eye. It's not easy to DIY an Indian wedding mandap but she did it with so much ease and the end product was better than anything we could have imagined. She was endlessly supportive, connected us to awesome vendors, and was instrumental in making the wedding day a success. She was so easy to work with and never let us stress. I was completely happy with our decision to hire Vanessa as the "Day of Coordinator" at our Castle Green wedding! She was running things behind the scenes, kept our timeline in check, and was such a huge help setting up, and then storing all of our decorative items, gifts, etc!
I appreciated her insight and expertise and can definitely say she made the less stressful. I cannot imagine having to run the day myself or delegating the work to a family/bridal party member. No way! Thank you, Vanessa! 5 stars! :) -

This review is soooo long overdue. Exactly a year ago, Vanessa helped to make our big day so special. As our Day of Coordinator she allowed us to sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful whirlwind (because we knew she had our backs!). In addition to keeping the party flowing the day of, she offered us so much helpful guidance along the way. There is so much information out there and as a new bride, it can be pretty overwhelming. At our first meeting, she helped me focus in on the wedding planning essentials and identify areas where I might be able to get creative and stretch my limited budget a bit farther. She even connected us we some of the vendors she had established relationships with along the way.

I got married May 21, 2016 and Vanessa did an amazing job. I would recommend her 100%.
I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing.
Vanessa made sure everything was streamless.By the end of the night all my gifts were packed, loaded in my sisters car and ready to go.
My whole family mentioned how successful everything went and I really owe it to Vanessa. We didn't stress but rather enjoyed "the special day".

We had a non-traditional, themed wedding (Roaring 20’s) and Vanessa was on board for all the shenanigans. We went with the “Day Of” package, which is really more like a “Week or Two” package. Vanessa asked me for our list of vendors beforehand, and then contacted all of them a few weeks before to make sure that all our ducks were in a row. Turns out that final payments were due on two of them (be aware…not all vendors accept the final payment at the event, some are ahead of time!), so I was thrilled she caught that.
Vanessa came to the final meeting at our venue (the Oviatt Penthouse) to go over where everything was going to go, how the timeline would run, etc. We were on a tight budget and doing a lot of stuff ourselves, including providing our own liquor, and renting glassware and bringing it up ourselves, along with our own Paper Moon “photo booth” and other decorations. It was a lot of stuff to bring up and down the elevator. We had a lot of friends helping with all this stuff, but even so, it was a lot of coordination. She even offered to transport a bunch of the stuff in her SUV, but it turned out we were able to get it there ourselves.
On the day of, everything went surprisingly smoothly! I was expecting a whole bunch of phone calls in the hotel while we were getting ready, but nope! None. Anything I hadn’t spelled out, Vanessa figured it out on her own, and everything looked fabulous. It was such a relief! I’m a worrier, so it was nice to just let it all go and enjoy the day.
Vanessa even got into the spirit of the theme, and dressed in a flapper outfit like all the guests - so fun! She’s a sweetheart and will put your mind at ease - I can’t recommend her more. I plan large parties all the time and wasn’t going to get a coordinator, but I’m SO glad I did, and I’m SO glad we picked Vanessa.

As our wedding anniversary approaches and my husband and I think back to our special day, we know it would not have been as enjoyable had it not been for Vanessa. My family is very helpful and usually when someone gets married, there are aunts and cousins who offer to help set up for the wedding. After doing this for several weddings and not feeling like I could fully enjoy the day, I knew that I wanted someone to help take care of all the details so my mom and her sisters wouldn't have to. I was very hesitant when we started to meet with day of coordinators. They made the same promises and seemed all business, but when I met Vanessa, she immediately made me feel comfortable.
Our venue offered a staff member to oversee the set up of simple items on the day of the wedding but I was worried things would not be carried out the way that I envisioned. Vanessa went with us to our walk through and had so many great questions that I would have never thought about. She emailed me a list of specific questions about our big day and had suggestions when I was unsure about things. On the day of our wedding, my family fell in love with her. (One of my aunts thought she was one of my friends because of how well she took care of us.) She was by my side when I needed her and orchestrated a flawless flow to the day. What I appreciated most was all of the little details that she took care of. She interacted with our guests, helped me fix my hair, saved us some appetizers while we took pictures, prompted the DJ when we wanted to thank our guests, helped my family organize our belongings at the end of the night and showed me how to elegantly cut our wedding cake.

I'm so pleased with our decision to hire Vanessa! Initially, I didn't think we would need a coordinator. As a logistician with a background in procurement (hiring vendors), I thought I could handle it all myself. As it got closer to the wedding date, I realized I needed someone to help herd 160 guests, coordinate with vendors, and keep us to schedule on the actual wedding day. It was really important to me that I wasn't asking friends and family to do this job. I did a lot of research and called up Vanessa about a month before our wedding. I was really lucky that she was still available for our (off-season) wedding and was willing to work within our budget. The week before the wedding she conducted a site visit. She asked great questions and helped us think through the final logistics. She's exceptionally professional and did a fantastic job on the wedding day. Everything about our wedding was seamless. Timo and I cannot extend enough thanks to Vanessa for coordinating our wonderfully romantic wedding. Her hard work and care ensured that our day was enjoyable and stress-free. She definitely handled everything in a professional manner and we could not be more happier! We appreciate Vanessa's personal attention and every effort. Not only was she proficient, but amazingly personable. She made Timo and I feel as if our day was the most important day of her life. It was a blessing to have had her as our coordinator. From the first time we spoke, we were impressed by her warmth and professionalism. My intuition told me she was the perfect coordinator for us. Hiring Vanessa as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We initially did not think we would need a coordinator. But as the day got closer, we realized there are so many little things that need to be done on the day-of.
Vanessa was on top of everything for our wedding day. She made excellent suggestions before the wedding, and made sure everything was setup perfectly the day-of. We basically gave her everything we wanted setup, and she executed it all. There were things we brought the day-of that we forgot to give her at the rehearsal. We didn't have time to talk to her about them, but she figured out exactly what they were for. That's just great experience and initiative!
She was so calm and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. If there were any issues, she must have taken care of them, because we did not know about them. And there was definitely potential for issues. We have HUGE families, so there were a ton of kids, both as guests and in the wedding. When we told Vanessa we were having 7 kids (not a typo!) in the ceremony, she went with it. She was great with the kids during the rehearsal, made great suggestions to the parents on how to get them down the aisle, and the ceremony turned out awesome!
Everything turned out great, and we could not have done it without a coordinator. We're so happy we went with Vanessa, because she was simply amazing! -

I hired Vanessa as a day of coordinator for my wedding, and she was amazing. She made sure the day went smoothly, and organized every festivity that happens on that day. The day of your wedding your head is spinning so fast that there is no way I could have done it without her. She was thrown a ton of information at the last minute and she took it and made our wedding absolutely perfect. She's super cool, knows everything you need to know about weddings, and makes sure every little detail is taken care of. Hire her! You will be so happy you did! -

Vanessa was a fabulous day-of coordinator for our wedding day for many reasons. She was professional as well as personal. Her communication was prompt. She was very thorough in the planning stages, and Vanessa executed those plans before, during, and after the wedding. She allowed us to be at ease and truly enjoy the day. Planning a wedding there is no short of other people's opinions and ideas. Some very outspoken and some very unmotivated so needless to say when I was referred Vanessa and met with her for the first time it was beyond a breath of fresh air to have someone so "on the same page" with my thoughts and ideas.
Vanessa pretty much read my mind and was able to forsee all the small and large details I wasn't thinking of. She was able to clearly identify everyone's roles and how she fit in to the grand scheme of the day. Needless to say the turned a frazzled bride into a confident and calm human being.
The day of she was so kind to pick up the boutonnieres, my bouquet and the mother of the brides flowers. Since we chose not to do the first look, I spent the majority of my day hidden and not able to satisfy the control freak I am and walk the premises to make sure everything had been set up or was going along well. Luckily when Vanessa arrived she already had it under wraps and gave me an update on everything and effortlessly didn't skip a beat all night long.
To say she was fantastic is an understatement! We decided to hire a coordinator to have peace of mind for the day, but Vanessa deliver so much more than that. She's a true professional who knows her stuff and is 100% invested in you. She gave me the gift of being able to focus on my new husband and soak up every wonderful moment the night had. Can't thank her enough!!!

I should have hired Vanessa as soon as my wife and I planned our wedding. Even though she only had about 2 weeks of prep and information (because we hired her 2 weeks away from the big day), most everything went off perfectly. 'Nessa had some great insights (not many of which we were able to implement in the limited time frame) and won over our guests with her confidence and professionalism.
We didn't get our cake song, but that was a problem with our DJ. Everything else went according to our plan. To ensure that things go smoothly, make sure that you hire her early if you need the event planning expertise. I have no doubt in my mind that if we hired her long before we got our vendors, many of our vendors would have worked together with no qualms.

As for our experience with Vanessa I'll be completely honest........She was AWESOME!!
From our first meeting she was very professional, organized and helpful. We met a total of three times (first meeting, second to go over all the final details, and third at the rehearsal)
The day of I didn't worry about one thing. She was also the first one there to overlook everything and the last one to leave. Over the weeks after the wedding we kept hearing from several of our guests about how great our coordinator was. She definitely made her presence known in a way that made all of our guests feel very comfortable. My husband even made a joke that she was like a ninja cuz she was always appeared out of nowhere, LOL.
I would definitely recommend Vanessa to any future bride and don't know what would have happend if I didn't have her!
We definitely had a few bumps with several other vendors, hopefully that won't be the same in your case, but as far as Vanessa goes there was never any stress there and often offered to help providing other vendors she knew.

Where to begin? Vanessa Vargas was the most amazing wedding coordinator!
A friend recommended Vanessa to my mom and I for a Day of Wedding Coordinator. We had put a great deal of time and effort into the planning of my wedding, but our goal was to be able to actually enjoy ourselves and concentrate on having the most amazing time at the wedding. I knew that it was going to fall on my mom because she would want me to enjoy the day, but it was top priority that we ALL had a spectacular day!
Vanessa was great in setting up a timeline, going over all of the little details we had thought of (and especially the ones we forgot too!). We prepared a list of tasks for her to do day of and she immediately saw our vision and helped make it happen.
She was prompt at answering all calls and emails, and had several amazing ideas for the ceremony and reception too.
Day of – Vanessa was my hero. Not only was everything picture perfect, but she helped keep us on a schedule that had the perfect flow. She made sure to allow time for us to eat, dance, visit with guests, etc and every time she came around she had the most calming, relaxed look on her face.
Because of that, we were able to enjoy every last second of the wedding. She helped wrap up the event, gather all the gifts and miscellaneous items, and because of all her hard work, our months of planning became the most fabulous wedding day for us!
I just love Vanessa and would recommend her to any and every one! She is the best!

I don't think I would have made it through my wedding without Vanessa! I previously wondered if I could pull it all off by myself, but that would have been a foolish mistake as the venue would not allow me to setup earlier in the day due to booking my ballroom for some business meeting (they told me that wouldn't happen). So it was great to have Vanessa there taking care of things while I was focused on getting myself ready to walk down the aisle. She oversaw and handled setup of decorations, worked with vendors and made sure everything was on schedule throughout the day and night. If there was any issue during the night, Vanessa was on top of it. I am so glad that I came across her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator! -

We hired Vanessa to help with our wedding in Santa Barbara. From the beginning, she asked all the right questions and helped us get on to a good path in coordinating the day of. My husband and I found Vanessa through craigslist and met with about 6 wedding coordinators before we chose Vanessa, who was the first vendor with whom we met. She exceeded all the others in professionalism and creativity. She was willing to work with our budget, which was modest (about 12k) and was always there to reassure me when I felt overwhelmed (which was quite often ;-0). She also provided us with fabulous vendors, all of whom we used. We found our own DJ, but, looking back, I wish we had asked for her recommendations regarding this vendor as well, as all the other vendors she recommended were very well priced and offered an amazing value for their levels of service. She was a little slow to respond to e-mails, as she works most weekends, but was very quick with text messages and phone calls, and was always happy to help and offer advice, no matter what time of day.
Vanessa also came to our rehearsal dinner and was there to mingle and meet the families, and provide a timeline for everyone for the day of the wedding.
It should be noted that we planned our wedding from afar, so we had a lot of extra coordination needs in terms of day of set up. She went far beyond what was expected and set everything up perfectly, which we worked with her to orchestrate via drawings and site plans. The day of the wedding went very smoothly. She brought us food in between the events of the evening, which was much needed, and was there to help us during the cake cutting with instructions (e.g. which hand to put on top, etc.). She also worked well with all the vendors, came to a pre-planning site walk through and was the vendor liasion the day and week before the wedding.
Overall, I would highly, highly recommend Vanessa! She is easy to work with, professional, creative and has a lot of great connections and ideas to help make your wedding as unique as you are. We are not a very traditional couple and were looking for someone who had an artistic eye and Vanessa was the perfect fit for the job. She even texted us after the wedding, with a little "thinking of you" note, as she had heard our processional song on the radio and thought of us.
For any bride and groom looking for day of coordination services, look no further and hire Vanessa! She is amazing and your day will run smoothly because of her attention to detail, her experience and her overall comforting and professional demeanor.

She was late to everything. I arrived to the wedding venue prior to her. She was late for the walk through, she was late for the rehearsal. She was not there when the vendors arrived. It took her days to respond to emails. I hired her as a day of coordinator. At the end of the day, she packed up everything and keep the schedule. It was very rough getting to the day, it worked out at the end.Nessa Events's reply:
I was late to one meeting being the rehearsal. I called the bride to let her know I was caught in traffic. The day of the wedding I was there for the contracted 8 hours and arrived on time. Everything ran smoothly and was stress free. This bride and groom were nice to work with and wish them nothing but happiness. -

Spare your peace of mind!
I hired Vanessa about 6 months before my wedding date. She was a recommended vendor provided by my venue. When I consulted with her over the phone, she seemed to be really helpful, organized, and was even familiar with some of the vendors I had already hired which made me feel at ease. I had made it clear to her that I needed someone to help with securing vendors, with a timeline, etc. Someone a little more than just a day of coordinator. She agreed to revise my contract to fit my needs and that she would jump in right away if I decided to hire her. After sending in my down payment, she was MIA. I had to initiate all communications, and when I'd ask if she had time for a call she'd often times let me know she would have time for a call days later. I had to ask for her vendor recommendations several times, then when she finally sent them, they were low quality rentals -- nowhere near the style I was going for. This was after I had sent her images of the original rentals so she already knew what look I was going for. Waste of time.
I finally expressed my frustrations with her, she agreed to meet. She was late. She never provided me with any checklists, documents, or ANYTHING at all to make my planning easier. She sent her "tentative timeline" in the body of an email.
3 months before my wedding, I decided it was best to part ways with her. I reached out to my venue to get some feedback and they agreed that she was unprofessional and removed her from the recommended vendor list. Her defense argument was that she was hired as solely a "day of coordinator" but I have emails where she clearly states she revised my contract and pricing to be more of a partial planner. She offered to refund me $300 "for my troubles"... which she never did. I text her and emailed her to follow up with my refund, & received no response. Typical. Forget your money, don't waste your peace of mind on her while planning your wedding.Nessa Events's reply:

We are deeply saddened that there was miss communication and services that were not paid for were expected. We are very hands on and do not provide checklists or documents during our in person meetings. We always go above and beyond for our brides. We never had the opportunity to Coordinate your wedding as we know it would have been great! -

not worth the risk
I had a negative experience with Vanessa and her team as my wedding partial planner. Vanessa did not follow through with many of her tasks that were outlined on the contract, such as tracking our budget and when payments were due. I often had to reach out to her to make sure that things were in progress because she did not take the initiative. She provided the bare minimum of options, like one menu from one catering company. She was also sometimes hard to reach. When it was about 6 weeks before our wedding and we still didn’t have rentals established, I texted her to check in and she didn’t respond for 8 days. It seems like Vanessa doesn’t attend some of her wedding herself and it ends up being a member of her team—for me it was Darny.
On the actual day of my wedding, Darny arrived 35 minutes late to set up the venue with no communication about her whereabouts. She didn’t know the right number or arrangement of chairs even though I sent over detailed plans in a shared document. When the venue had some issues with playing music outside and the electricity, she came to me to complain about the venue rather than managing it herself so that I could enjoy the day. She was rude to family and friends when they asked for accommodations like moving an umbrella to shield them from the sun, and failed to ensure that the catering put dairy items on the side of dishes like we requested. I asked her to have catering set aside a piece of cake for us to freeze and eat on our first anniversary and we got a slice the size of a card deck squished on the bottom of the cake box.
I was hesitant to write a negative review but I truly do not want anyone to have an unnecessary stressful and unpleasant experience like I did. -

We hired Vanessa as a day of coordinator. She was extremely nice and professional. She assured us that if she isn’t able to be there the day of the wedding, she has someone else who’d be able to take her place. It took her days, sometimes an entire week, to respond to texts/emails. The night of the rehearsal which was the night before the wedding, she was late due to the fact that I didn’t tell her we were having a rehearsal. It completely slipped my mind due to the fact that I was planning the entire wedding without the help of a wedding planner. I had brought up the topic of the rehearsal to her so she knew we would be having one, just didn’t know when. She never contacted me prior to the wedding asking if and when we were going to have one. She supposedly had experience so that should’ve been something she should’ve asked if I had never told her when. We told her of something we didn’t want to include during the reception but we somehow found ourself still doing it the night of the wedding. We had also asked her to be the point person to communicate with our photographer who we would be taking photos with next. When this came up, she was no where to be found. My husband ended up being the one running up and down trying to gather our family and organizing who we’d take photos with next. During the reception, I saw her a total of 5 times probably. At times, we couldn’t find her and most of the time, she was seen at the vendors table sitting down. The day of the wedding, my venue had to contact both her and I due to the fact that Vanessa didn’t send them the final day of timeline. I had to stop getting ready to send it to them. After the wedding I then found out that she was juggling another wedding which was taking place the day after mine. Definitely felt, and STILL FEEL, like we wasted money. -

Horrible Experience with Vanessa Vargas
My wife and I were very disappointed with Vanessa’s lack of services for our wedding. Vanessa waited until 5pm the day before our wedding to let us know that she had had Covid for a few days and would be unable to service our wedding as the day of coordinator. The communication with her in the week leading up to the wedding was terrible, instead of providing the services that she promised, I was forced to contact all the other vendors and reach out to her multiple times a day for important updates that I needed to let my family members know. Letting us know an hour before our rehearsal dinner that she would not be working our wedding (after she had known for days that she wouldn’t be able to make it) threw a ton of stress onto us right before our wedding, which was extremely unprofessional and insensitive, especially given her reported years of experience working in the wedding industry. Vanessa said the reason she waited to tell us that she would not be coming was because she wanted to find a replacement, but she had not even confirmed her replacement until the morning of the wedding (after she had told us that she wouldn’t be able to make it to the wedding). Further, the replacement she provided was someone she called her “assistant,” even though we did not pay for or agree to pay the same price for the services from an assistant. Instead of offering any sort of refund for the change on her end or the stress that this caused, she ghosted us after providing the name of the assistant on the day of the wedding.
While the “assistant” was a lovely person and contributed wonderfully to running our wedding, she did not fulfill the full extent of the contract that we signed with Vanessa. If it were not for multiple family members helping, then the decorations would not have been set up properly or on time. This was at no fault with the replacement; Vanessa provided the wrong arrival time (only 2 hours before the wedding when we had agreed that she would arrive 4-5 hours before the wedding to ensure enough time for set-up and to assist us with photos). Further, the replacement let us know that the vision of our wedding/the plan for setup had not even been sufficiently relayed to her before arrival as well. This was very unacceptable seeing as we hired Vanessa specifically to decrease stress on our day and ensure that everything ran smoothly, and ironically Vanessa was the main point of all our stress. If it weren't for the complete overhaul of help from my aunts and the relaying of our vision from my mom, then our wedding would not have been set up on time or correctly.
After reaching out to Vanessa a couple months after the wedding asking for a partial refund at the very least for our troubles, she never responded to the multiple emails or voicemails. Not only would I never recommend this person or her business to anyone for any event, but I was also considering reporting her due to her fraudulent and exploitative behavior. The replacement that she sent was not even her assistant but owned her own coordinating company as well and let us know that Vanessa frequently bails from events and weddings last minute without providing adequate training on the person taking over the event (usually it is the person that she sent in her place). If you are to book her for your event, please know that she could and will likely do this to you too.
