A Destination Wedding Necessity

Stress free

I was worried about wedding planning and finding a good wedding planner. I saw in some Puerto Rico wedding groups their issues with response times from their wedding planner. Naya always responded in good timing and kept track with meetings. She seems to know a lot of people in the wedding industry where she lives so she was helpful for referrals and also helping with planning and money management. I did not have a single thing to worry about on my wedding day and she made sure it all came together smoothly. Definitely recommend!

My Fairy GodMother for the Wedding Of My Dreams 💕💕

I honestly don’t even have enough words to describe how incredible Nayas was throughout my entire wedding planning journey! I’ve dreamed of my wedding day since I was a little girl, and she truly made those dreams come to life.

I was planning my wedding from the U.S. while she was in Puerto Rico, and you would never know there was any distance because she made everything seamless. From setting up Zoom calls to always being available for any questions, she went above and beyond every single step of the way. The planning platform she provided was amazing and kept everything organized—and honestly, with my crazy work schedule, there would have been NO wedding without her!

She gave me the most gentle nudges when I was falling behind and always had such a calming presence, even when things got overwhelming. She took the time to really understand what I wanted and worked hard to make sure it all happened within my budget. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she helped me prioritize so that I could add things later if I wanted. If we had phone meetings with vendors, she was there and was able to describe my vision better than me!

When I wasn’t sure about certain details, she gave me options and guidance without ever making me feel pressured. For example, I didn’t think I wanted to pay for a videographer, but she suggested an alternative amazing vendor who captured incredible moments without breaking the bank.

On my wedding day, she kept me calm, kept everything on track, and coordinated every single detail to perfection. The vendors she connected me with were top-tier! My husband and family honestly thought I spent way more than I did because everything looked and felt so amazing. Everyone is still telling me it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! My husband was not involved with the planning (I didn’t let him) and he has praising about Nayas and her team. He is hard to impress and he was blown away by her. He appreciated her working with me.

I can truly say my wedding dreams came true because of Nayas. If you’re a bride—whether you’re local or planning from afar—run, don’t walk, and hire her. She will advocate for your vision and make sure it becomes a reality. I can’t recommend her enough! She really became my Fairy Godmother and I am just so beyond pleased! 💕🥰🫶🏽

We had a great experience with Naya! We were planning a destination wedding from Miami with 135 guests. Naya was very responsive through out the whole year of planning. She streamlined the process little by little as the year went on so that I would not feel so overwhelmed. The day of the wedding I did not have to think of anything! I enjoyed the process of the actual wedding day while her and her team took care of everything. Her team including her husband were excellent! The wedding planner you can’t live without

My wedding was on June 15, 2024 in San Juan at the Marriott Stellaris-Puerto Rico. I had a pleasure of working Hayxanair. She was an absolute perfectionist. There was no request that was beyond her capability. As a woman of color, she completely understood my needs. She has an amazing personality and demeanor. She knows the Puerto Rico landscape. A destination bride & groom’s saving grace 🌟🙌🏽

Naya and her team are SPECTACULAR! Truly could not have gone through our entire wedding planning process without her. From the moment we met with Naya during the earliest stages of our 2.5 year long engagement up until our wedding weekend, she went above and beyond our expectations which eased our stress having a destination wedding. She was always attentive to detail, quick to respond, and just SO kind and caring. Helping both during visits to PR where Naya coordinated walk throughs and tastings as well as long distance via Zoom with all the advice and suggestions she made, everything she did was extremely helpful. Best Day Ever!

We have so much gratitude for the entire Naya’s Events team. Naya was a calming presence throughout the entire planning process. Planning from NYC can be stressful but we were in great hands! The entire day of was perfect. Naya presented us with vendors and each of them were AMAZING!! Every single element went above and beyond!! The decor was breathtaking, the entertainment and lighting were top notch, food was DELICIOUS! Even when it rained, Naya was able to help us quickly pivot with a plan b and actually made our plan a happen in between the drizzle. She took away our stress and seamlessly made our day magical and perfect. I can’t even put into words. My advice to any rainforest brides…if it rains on your day, let it happen and DANCE IN THE RAIN!!! 💕 Thank you again Naya!!!!

Hire her immediately!

Naya was a godsend. My husband and I were planning our wedding from NYC which came with its own set of challenging. Naya eased all our concerns, shared her favorite vendors and helped us navigate contracts. She has a very calm presence. The day of the wedding, Naya was running around making sure everything was perfect and just as I had dreamed. My bridesmaid texted me the next morning saying how much she loved her and asking if she could plan hers even if it was not in Puerto Rico. She helped us with so many last minute things including finding a place for 90 guests to enjoy welcome drinks after a mix up with our original location.
Our officiant/ my brother's dress pants went missing a little over an hour before the wedding and Naya's husband ran to a store to buy him pants. During the wedding, Naya and her staff were very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Hire her immediately! She is truly amazing.

The best event/wedding coordinator.

Working with Nayas’ Event was an absolute pleasure. We could not have asked for a better team (Hayxanair, Rafael, Astrid and Naya) to make our special day perfect. They provided great suggestions for vendors, paid attention to every detail and ensured everything went smoothly and on time per our timeline.

Hayxanair was thoughtful and kind with us during the whole process. She didn’t stop at just doing her job as a wedding coordinator, she exceeded our expectations and became a friend.

Dreamy Rain Forest Destination Wedding

We live in Arkansas and got married in August 2023 at Hacienda Siesta Alegre or HSA (a true dream of a venue hidden in the rainforest, highly recommend!).
We signed on with our venue and all of our vendors sight unseen. Naya met with us on zoom 3 times so we could get to know her and view her platform before we hired her as our full time wedding planner. She was also able to confirm our venue (HSA) was available for a Saturday in August before we signed her contract.
Naya has a great portfolio, great relationships with vendors and her planning platform makes everything easily trackable. We had 20 vendors in total and Naya highly recommended the 18 PR based vendors. We flew our photographer out and a family member officiated. We found the band ourselves (La Super Banda - also highly recommend!) through social media and wedding wire research, but Naya is the one who sealed the deal and got us the contract through her relationships in the industry.
My parents and I were able to fly to PR in May 2023 and Naya planned and organized 2 days worth of meetings, tastings and trials. We did a venue visit, catering tasting, hair & makeup trial, cake tasting and churro tasting. We also stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grande Reserve during this site visit, which is where our guests room block was (we also had a welcome party on the beach there and highly recommend!).
The day of the wedding was perfect, there was always the chance of a hurricane or rain with an outdoor venue in PR during early hurricane season, but we couldn't resist. The entire week was absolutely perfect! We were on the island for an entire week and there was some rain every day, but in true Caribbean rain fashion, it would rain for 10 minutes and then get sunny again.
Naya had a backup ceremony space at the venue decorated and ready to go if rain came, but we didn't need it, as the weather was perfect! We got about 10 minutes of rain at the end of dinner, but HSA has everything covered other than the dance floor, so it was a great time to get some photos with our guests before we started to bust some moves on the dance floor with La Super Banda.
Like I said, the wedding day was awesome, flawless and smooth, it was very relaxing being at HSA getting ready all day in the peacefulness of the rainforest and knowing Naya was there to take care of everything. Naya was a true professional, very organized and communicative and our timeline she put together with us was great.
If you are engaged and in the planning process and have the option to hire a full time wedding planner, do it! Especially for a destination wedding, the planning process can be stressful and it is wonderful to have eyes on the ground and an expert in the industry to guide you as you go.

My dream came true because of Naya’s Events

It was easy to choose Naya because from the time we met she was so welcoming and friendly I knew I wanted to work with her. My planning process was very smooth and she offered many recommendations, she coordinated our tastings and visits all for the same day which was great. If you want the best, hire Naya

Where do I even begin!? Coming from the wedding industry myself, when we decided to get married in Puerto Rico, I knew I needed some help executing our dream wedding. Not living on the island was a huge concern of mine as I had to do a lot of planning from the states. I did some research and came across Naya and set up a call and instantly knew I needed her. We had majority of big things done early on (venue, DJ, photographer) but that did not stop her from helping with all of the additional things we needed. She was super helpful with dealing with vendors and she was able to get answers to a lot of our questions before us due to her relationship with them. She offered a lot of recommendations when we needed them and had us use a platform that was my bible during the entire wedding planning process. We had several meetings to discuss the timeline and day of details. The day of our wedding was an absolute dream. Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could go and I truly believe that was because we had Naya and her team to handle everything. I am absolutely a control person and I did not feel the need to be in control the day of our wedding because I knew Naya had everything handled. If you need a planner, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get Naya and her team. You will not regret it one bit. Thank you so much Naya for all of your help and making our dream wedding come true. Destination wedding expert

Hayxa was very professional since the moment we met. Her elegant demeanor and poise was something that rapidly caught my attention. She uses a digital planning tool that was crucial for us to see the progress of the planning, tasks due, in progress and have all files and vendor info on the same place. We could all see what everyone was doing regarding the wedding. As we are both busy professionals living in the States this tool helped us keep track and eased communications (no one wants to be bombarded with wedding related texts or email threads you can’t find). We had 108 guests destination wedding with people traveling from Europe, the USA, and South America so there were many logistical fronts to plan for. On the day of the wedding Hayxa and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Everyone commented on how organized and perfect the wedding was! Everyone enjoyed it to the max! Planning a destination wedding in PR is not very easy when you live far away and we are so grateful for Hayxa and her team as they helped us make our dream wedding come true! On the day of the wedding, we had a hiccup as the vintage car broke down and my dress train got stained with car oil on the way to the ceremony… Hayxa and her team calmly cleaned my dress as they helped me calm myself down … I couldn’t believe they were able to get most of the stains out and no one at the ceremony even noticed!! Gracias por todo Hayxa!!!

Working with Hayxanair and team was simply amazing. We planned the wedding for over a year through zoom and other apps remotely. We had an opportunity to visit in person where she made us fall in love with her decisions even more than we already had. Hayxa and her team did an excellent preparation for our special day. From the recommendations of the venue, vendors , to the preparation of a bride. Our wedding had a date just when the pandemic began, so it had to be moved twice until it reached 2022. Great and Joyful experience

Naya is an amazing coordinator. We were planning our wedding for a year and a half, and one week before the wedding we had to change venues and she handle it like nobody would. Hayxa did an amazing job making all of our wedding dreams come true. She was available when I had questions and made sure that all of the details were tended to. I can be pretty OCD about small details so she really helped to ease the stresses that can come with planning a destination wedding. She handled rescheduled our original date due to COVID with grace and ensured everything was ready to go for the following year. Couldn’t of done it without her!!

Naya was such an incredible resource and help to us with the wedding planning. We were planning from Florida and having her in PR helping recommend vendors and ensure the logistics were handled was extremely helpful. I’m an event manager as well…so sometimes hard to let go of control but the day of the wedding she put all my worries to ease and I was able to enjoy every moment. Everything went perfect! The best decision i made

My fairy godmother literally

We had our dream wedding thanks to God and our incredible wedding coordinator, who would undoubtedly choose it a thousand more times. I feel that words fall short of expressing how grateful I am that I have been part of such a special process. So much so that I feel like it's like my fairy godmother, hahaha. In this stressful process, it was key to have a person like her who literally gave me incredible peace. I felt that she understood me and made me feel that everything would work out. Hayxa is a super-structured person, and from the beginning she made me feel that she was in good hands, but along the way, her vibe made me feel that we chose the best one.

I loved my wedding from start to finish. Her team is excellent, and everyone is super attentive. I have a husband and also have a good friend that I appreciate very much.

Best decision we made

Nayas Event Coordinator is the only way to pan a wedding of your dreams. We live in NJ so handing someone we never met our wedding dreams was scary . But she made us feel like family from the first phone call . She helped keep

100 billion stars!!!

Need a wedding planner in Puerto Rico? You’d be crazy not to select Naya. Since the beginning, she was absolutely amazing and had to plan our wedding 4 times because of COVID cancellations. Each time she worked with our changes and additions and always made our requests possible. Naya was quick to action and ALWAYS available. My guests were amazed at the level of detail and planning she put into our ceremony and reception at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. Again she was simply phenomenal.

I could write a book about our experience with Naya. She is a must get.

The best wedding coordinator!

Hayxa was a lifesaver! My husband and I started to plan our wedding before pandemic and just when we were a couple of week to get married the pandemic arrived. After many changes of venues and dates Hayxa found us the most wonderful place and she really took in consideration all of our wishes and needs. Simply Incredible Coordinator! No Title Can Summarize!

Where to begin? We found it hard to write this review because of how difficult it was for us to express what Nayas means to us and how much we appreciated her in making our wedding turn out absolutely perfectly in a very imperfect situation. Planning the destination wedding during a pandemic had constant twists and turns with our plans literally having to change every 12 hours for weeks. Nayas was there every time, ready to help us navigate. She helped us pull together an absolute ALL STAR group of vendors and helped them understand each change. She had such an amazing touch and it was clear she really cared about us and our day. In all the stress, it was so comforting we had Nayas on our side and had trust she would help us figure it out and figure it out she did. Please take time to look at the pictures! We did this at the height of restrictions in PR and everything went so smoothly and turned out perfectly because of Nayas. We can not thank her enough and we couldn't recommend hiring her for your future wedding more! We talked to so many coordinators and are thanking our lucky stars we went with Nayas. Best decision ever!!

I had a small destination wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. I was on the fence about hiring a day of wedding planner, but ended up choosing to so that I would have peace of mind. I wanted to have someone there to keep the event on time and smooth out any bumps in the road that may happen that day. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose to go with Hayxanair. She was absolutely amazing. She helped me with questions I had weeks before the wedding, and put together a great timeline. I can honestly say that the day went off without a hitch. I have no idea if something did go wrong, and she fixed it, but that’s what I call a good planner. She was so sweet and professional, I cannot recommend her enough. She was always just a few feet away from my husband and I. Whenever we had a question, she was right there waiting to help us. She truly made my wedding day go so smoothly and because of her I was able to fully enjoy my wedding. I even received compliments from our guests because they noticed how organized and on time everything went and that was all her! If you’re thinking about a planner, please do not look any further. A dream come true!

Dream Wedding Without the Hassle!!

I contacted Haixanair wanting a small destination wedding that would be six months away. I was going to use my uncles back yard as a venue. I worried that the venue wouldn’t be appropriate for a wedding, and that a dream wedding would be too expensive, but I thought I could still give it a try and talk to a cordinator. She asked me a few basic questions, what my inspiration for decor was and what my budget was. I send her pictures of the backyard and waited for her feedback. She spoke to me with a confidence and professionalism that won my trust instantly. She made all my worries go away the entire planning period and during my wedding. Haixa and her team took care of everything! We spoke a few times over the phone and texted to iron out a few details here and there. My family joked that they thought I was crazy for being too relaxed. I’m not kidding! All I did was make sure I was at my wedding on time!!!!! They are approachable, easy to contact, willing and available. They are flexible to changes and have so much experience they make everything look like it’s an easy job to do. My wedding exceeded all of my expectations! From my bouquet and decorations to their team serving me food, making sure my kids ate, and bringing me water if I asked. Truly form the bottom of my heart. Stop looking around, you have found the best cordinator!!!!!!

Naya is Fantastic Event Coordinator! I gave a call to her asking if she can help me organize an intimate dinner with my Husband on the beach, though it was on short notice she tried her level best in getting multiple options for me, though it did not work out due to my budget issues but even after telling this to Naya she did not stop proposing alternative options, knowing she won't get any profit from me. I would say she is a kind of a person who cares for other people's dream to come true without any expectation. Naya you are definitely appropriate for this profession. Above and Beyond Service

Naya was the savior of our wedding planning. She was super responsive, incredibly helpful with everything leading up. We did partial coordination because we found her midway through wedding planning, but definitely would have had her do everything if we were to do it over. The pricing and contracting was all up front, no hidden surprises and worth every penny. She thought of every detail, made sure nothing was missing, and even filled in a lot of our gaps. We felt so much less stress leading up to the wedding because we knew she had it under control, and we didn't worry about anything the day of the wedding. She was able to adapt to situations and make everything seem planned and smooth even when things happened out of our control (like weather, or my grandmother arriving late!). If you are reading this and looking for a wedding planner... LOOK NO FURTHER!!!!!

Let me start by saying I am was were you are now... in search for a wedding planner that you love, trust, but also have a connection with and who is affordable. In searching for the best fit for both my fiance and myself I came across multiple reviews about how half way through the wedding couples had had to fire their coordinator, which made me extremely nervous being that our wedding was a destination wedding. Whoever we chose had to understand what we wanted, and really help guide us until we arrived for our wedding.

I am one of the most indecisive people EVER, but when it came time to make a decision on our wedding coordinator Naya was the BEST decision we ever made when it came to our wedding. I cannot begin to express how awesome she is! Naya is such a kind/sweet soul who cares so much about both you and your fiances special day. Plus, she is amazing at her job.

We had traveled to PR prior to the wedding to choose a venue and Naya picked us up at the hotel to take us to each location. After viewing a beautiful venue we hopped in the car to head to our next location when her car suddenly decided it did not want to start. If that were me, I would have been freaking out, but not Naya. She was calm as a cucumber and found an alternative solution so we would make it to our next appointment on time. At that moment I KNEW she was PERFECT for the job and we made the right decision in choosing her to be our coordinator.

Throughout the year of planning she stayed in constant contact with us by checking in, reaching out to local vendors with questions or concerns we had, and even offered to make dinner reservations for us upon arrival to PR. She did such a great job at communicating and keeping us on track with the wedding timeline. Having a 2 year old I can say we were not the best at remembering due dates, but Naya was always patient with us and sent us friendly reminders when a task needed to be completed.

Naya was there to ensure the rehearsal dinner ran smoothly, and on the day of the wedding guided us through the ceremony and reception. During cake cutting I vividly remember turning around to see Naya helping us distract our daughter dancing with her. :) That warmed my heart knowing she truly cared about our family. Even after the wedding she checks in to see how we are and we stay in communication via social media.

We had such an amazing wedding experience in Puerto Rico and I am so happy with the way everything turned out. Wedding planning is hard and stressful enough, so you don't need to stress when it comes to choosing your wedding planner/coordinator because Naya perfect for the job.

Birthday surprise

I was traveling to NY for a family reunion and my partner’s birthday was during that weekend so Nayas idea event coordinated from PR everything to be able to surprise my partner incluiding the cake and place , everything came out better than expected.

I literally have nothing bad to say about my experience so far! I have really enjoyed working with Hayxanair! She is so personable, truly cares about you and your event, and is always available. (Seriously! I live in California and I’ll text or email late for even my time thinking she’ll see it in the morning and she answers almost immediately! I swear she doesn’t sleep!) when I went to Puerto Rico to meet her and meet with the vendors she went to every meeting, she has worked with my mother in law to help coordinate the rehearsal dinner too! I have had a rough time with the hotel I booked a block with and she was even willing to have the guest contact her and give them their information and she was going to work with the hotel to get their rooms coordinated. I didn’t let her but she always goes above and beyond. I can’t wait for our wedding day to actually be here! I know Hayxanair and her team are going to do an amazing job! ??????????

Unfortunately our weeding ceremony did not took place because of Hurricanes Irma & María, we did make a small family ceremony.

Naya was extremely diligent in helping us get our deposits from the different vendors. Also we did a Birthday Party for the Wife with Pedro Capo, and it was all coordinated by Naya.

Highly very highly recommended. Give her 100 stars ..!!! They are the best.!!!

I have to say that Haixa and I clicked the very first day we even spoke and got together to discuss the ideas I had for my wedding. The truth is I never contacted anyone else, I just had a feeling she was the one and I couldn’t be more right.
When hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico I was so depressed that I put everything on hold for two months and it was Haixa who would call me to cheer me up and also let me know I needed to select all my vendors on time, Maria had changed the game for the industry and everything was taking a little more time then usual...
She helped me all the way and followed up on me on a regular basis, very responsive and professional in every way. She also recommended some very good vendors even though I had some of my own.
The day of my wedding Haixa and her team were my heroes!! Not only did they improvised when it started raining in the middle of the ceremony and pretty much moved the entire set up but they also got us a new generator when the one the venue had for us burned!!

Overall Haixa and her team did an extraordinary job and I will be forever grateful!!
Planning a wedding is no easy job but if I had to do it all over again Naya’s Ideas Events Coordinator would be my choice, they are the Best!!

Hayxanair was a pleasure to work with! My husband and I decided on a wedding in Puerto Rico and after attempting to plan the wedding myself, I realized it was too challenging and thankfully found Hayxanair. She was always very attentive to our needs throughout the process and made sure that deadlines were met. The day of our wedding had challenges, mainly rain, and Hayxanair and her team handled all issues like the pros that they are. Our wedding was a success and our guests (And others who weren't guests and saw pictures) continue to talk about how amazing and beautiful our wedding was. Hayxanair is an excellent coordinator. We hire her services since the beginning of our wedding planning. After a year and a half planning our wedding with great enthusiasm, to our surprise, Hurricane Maria passed through Puerto Rico and we had to postpone it. What could have been a nightmare, thanks to Hayxa it has not been. Our coordinator has been responsible for the re-arrangement of the new date with all the vendors and guests. When we decided to have our destination wedding in Puerto Rico, I told myself that I could forego hiring a wedding planner and plan the wedding myself. This was not one of my brightest ideas, but I nonetheless researched to no avail and hired most of the vendors myself. I opted to instead hire a day of wedding coordinator. One thing I learned from myself with planning the wedding was how indecisive I was with making decisions. And I attribute most of this to how overly saturated the wedding market is with endless vendors. I gave myself a deadline of January to hire a day of coordinator for my June wedding. It was May, and I had yet to secure anyone. I spoke to a couple wedding planners during that time and I just didn't connect with any of them. Then came along Hayxa, (I called her an angel from above) and during our first conversation, I knew that she was the wedding planner for me. It was as if she was a part of the planning from the beginning. Within the same day, she emailed me a catering vendor which I was desperately lacking well under budget. She took over with such grace and ease. I am a very difficult person, but she has such a calming presence about her. When I say she went above and beyond her role, it is an understatement. Many things went wrong the day of the wedding (due to no fault of her own) and she did everything with her control to resolve every issue that arose. Honestly, the biggest piece of advice I can give to a bride in search of a planner, is to hire Hayxa as your wedding planner. My only regret was not hiring her sooner. Thank you Hayxa for all of your help and support during one of the most important days of my life.

Hayxa did an amazing job for my baby shower. She prepared all of the flower arrangements, table settings and coordinated all of the catering for the event. The flower arrangements were beautiful and the food was amazing. She will work with your budget and will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your special day.
