If you are looking for a one stop shop DJ Naveen is your guy!! He provided so much advice before the wedding it truly helped us prepare. Naveen has so many connections and I would highly suggest going with all his recommendations. There were certain things we didn’t do per his recommendations and we regret not doing that. He highly suggested a day of wedding coordinator and we insisted we would be fine but we weren’t. Naveen stepped up and went above and beyond despite us not following his suggestions. He helped push the other vendors to get their jobs done to make our wedding day perfect. Our biggest regret is not doing everything he said but he still made our day perfect and we HIGHLY recommend him and his team!! He is extremely professional and extremely organized!! Naveen provided Photo Booth/Barat/ ceremony music/ videography / reception DJ/MC and became a wedding coordinator because other vendors weren’t doing their jobs. -

DJ Naveen did a great job with all the song selections and event lighting for the colorful and vibrant garba-sangeet. He also rocked out with a live dhol at the Bharat and had a beautiful evening with all the uplighting and reception music and fun. We loved the surprise glow sticks!! :P DJ Naveen is a wonderful person to work with and always willing to coordinate with your needs. He even accommodated our family members to co- MC apart of the reception. We thank you for a very memorable weekend! -

Naveen was professional, personable, built rapport with both families, and got the crowd up and going. Just about everybody came up and asked about Naveen after our wedding to see if he could do their wedding. Any request we threw his way, he was extremely organized. He knew our timeline to a tee, and nailed every little detail we gave him. He hears instruction, gives suggestions, and is able to feel out the crowd and guests, and read their body language to see what songs to play more or less of. He was truly the life of the party. -

Naveen was a wonderful DJ and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went smoothly. He not only handled the music for our wedding but also provided uplighting, an MC, photobooth, dhol player and a horse for our baraat. His packages are very straightforward and he allows flexibility for customization depending on what each couple is interested in. In addition, he had so many wonderful vendor recommendations and I ended up hiring many of my vendors based off his advice. He does a really great job of getting to know the couple he is working with to ensure he can personalize his services to make it unique for each event. We really appreciated his hard work and would highly recommend him as a DJ for your next event! -

Naveen - DJ/MC
If you want to hire a DJ that gives 110%, book Naveen. Naveen is passionate, energetic and eager to get to know his couples personally. During the first call it was clear Naveen cared about our wedding specifically and asked us questions to understand the vibe we were looking for. Throughout our engagement, Naveen would text me videos and pictures of his setup at my venue and other wedding clips to share ideas. He was excellent at checking in and being present during the planning process.
I booked Naveen because he was able to offer everything I was looking for. He did a wonderful job as DJ/MC and also shared our love story, set up uplighting, handed out glow sticks, provided a monogram and incorporated some entertaining surprises. For example, Naveen called the entire room to the dance floor for a group photo which was so exciting and a great memory. Another surprise was when he had us lifted up on chairs during the beginning of open dancing. We loved every minute of it!
Overall Naveen was able to elevate the energy of the room and our guests loved the music. He did a phenomenal job with announcements and played every song we asked for. I told Naveen I wanted a club atmosphere and he delivered. His equipment is top notch and the sound quality and volume was impeccable. He greeted us when we arrived at the reception and said goodbye at the end of the night. He is more than a DJ, he was the ultimate hype man and truly cared that we were having the best time on our wedding day.
Videography
We also used Platinum Event Group for videography. We hired 2 videographers and the videos they delivered blew me away and went above and beyond my expectations. We received a 1 minute teaser, highlight video and a feature film that we will treasure forever. The video quality was phenomenal. They used several cameras to capture all angles at the ceremony and even used a drone to capture stunning footage of the ceremony and reception sites. They did an outstanding job capturing all the special moments of our day and rewatching it had me laughing and crying all over again. The video is a memory I get to relive and I will cherish this forever. Photos are nice, but a video is priceless. Book the video! You will not regret it.

We had a great experience working with DJ Naveen! He was kind, enthusiastic, and helpful every step of the way! He was still willing to help or give advise on things outside of music/lighting!
He was every engaging with guest and has everyone up dancing! Guest also thought he was great!
Music, energy, and lighting was all great! Would definitely rebook and recommend! -

Naveen and his organization was great to work with, he worked around with my new wedding date which was changed due to COVID. During the rescheduling process he did let me know that he would unfortunately not be able to DJ my wedding reception himself, however, would have another DJ, who may likely not be Indian, but who is just as capable that he works with, be there instead. As we approached my new wedding date I did express to Naveen my concern of having a non-Indian DJ, Ben, at my Indian wedding reception. He was fully receptive of my concerns and actually found another DJ who is Indian, Sunpreet, to accompany Ben at my wedding reception which really helped alleviate any concerns I had. Ben and Sunpreet were amazing! I wanted an Indian-American fusion vibe for my wedding and they pulled it off seamlessly! Everyone was raving about how great the music was mixed in together. It could not have gone any better, at one point EVERYONE was out on the dancefloor. Naveen and his team were phenomenal and were extremely professional, prepared and a pleasure to work with. Naveen checked in on us often and gave us excellent advice to ensure our day was perfect! Our guests did not leave the dance floor all night and complimented his ability to balance American and Indian music so well!! Naveen and his team are the best and provide exceptional service! DJ Naveen helped us make our dream weekend come true. He was very professional throughout the planning process, and he brought so many great ideas to the table. His lighting really set the mood for all of our events and made the room look phenomenal. He had the music going throughout the baraat and reception and we had such a great time partying with him. Even though I (the groom) was long distance, Naveen made the extra effort to set up calls to help plan for the weekend. DJ Naveen was very professional, organized, and easy to work with and I would recommend him for any of your events. -

My wife and I hired DJ Naveen for our wedding festivities in September 2019. DJ Naveen is professional, courteous, respectful, and energetic. He really knows how to keep a party going and our dance floor was never empty. We received numerous compliments from our friends and family about DJ Naveen. They were all very impressed. DJ Naveen was flexible when it came to our meetings with him. We were very impressed by his responsiveness to our emails, calls, text messages, etc. He offers many services and was able to provide the perfect package for us, while keeping in mind our preferences. DJ Naveen also did a phenomenal job with the uplighting of the ballroom, being our Master of Ceremony, and entertaining our guests. We are so grateful that we had Naveen as our DJ. We highly recommend his services and we look forward to using him again in the future. -

We had an excellent experience with DJ Naveen and would recommend him to anyone, especially anyone looking to do a fusion wedding. He came highly recommended by our wedding planner, and we could not agree more. DJ Naveen was easy to work with, had excellent music for both our events, did an excellent job with the lighting, MCing the events. The "love story" he did at our reception was great - funny, touching, thoughtful. 5 stars. -

Where do I start? Naveen Sharma was amazing and made our wedding weekend the perfect one to remember. Naveen was the first vendor we booked for our 2 day wedding (infact we booked him a year in advance!). My wife and I knew that a key to unlocking a great wedding was having top-notch DJ who could keep the party going with great sound systems, music, and lighting. Naveen brought that and so much more. Some of my favorite parts of the weekend:
- Our Sangeet kicked off the weekend with a bang when Naveen organized a “her-baraat” (a grand procession) for my wife so the bride’s side could have a high energy entrance. It was a dream for my wife to do a Baraat. Usually brides never get to do them but Naveen felt like the bride should get to have fun too and created this unique moment for us and our guests. I also think this event is the reason our guests had such a high level of energy that lasted throughout the weekend.
- Our Ceremony started with a 1 hour baraat (groom procession) that included Naveen bringing a truck for my family and I to dance on top of the flatbed. He also had me dance all the way to the mandap (altar) with a Dhol player which was unique to other weddings I’ve been to. Also, Naveen was perfectly synchronized with the priest throughout the wedding which made our ceremony really seamless.
- Our Reception had 400 people packed on the dance floor all night with people dancing non-stop until 1 am. Naveen brought all the works with great indian/american music, but also beautiful lighting, and fun glow sticks. He even let our parents, my wife and I guest DJ a few songs towards the end of the night which was really fun and kept the crowd hyped.
Our guests are still calling us months later saying it was one of the most fun and best weddings they’ve ever been to. We’re so grateful that we had DJ Naveen at our wedding to make it such a hit.
But there’s more to Naveen than being a good DJ. He’s a quality professional who is passionate about his work and his clients. He's easy to get a hold of, and gets to know you as a person, and he stays in touch with you throughout the planning process. He shows up on time (or early), and he’s always prepared with backup equipment, and tech so your event runs smooth. He got us a fun photobooth. He’s well liked and highly referred by other vendors so he’s an easy add to your wedding vendor team and has probably worked with them before. He’s very creative and comes up with fun ideas to figure out ways to make your wedding unique and memorable for you and your guests.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event and know that you’ll get world-class experience from a team that will bring trust, energy, creativity and passion to your event. Thank you so much to Naveen and his team being part of our big day and giving us a lifetime of memories from our wedding weekend!

Naveen is most of the reason our wedding went off without a hitch. His calm demeanor, professionalism, timeliness, and infectious positive energy imbued the night with meaning that we will remember for years to come. Grand Rapids is lucky to have met this man and we would happily hire him again for any future event.
