    An Absolute Perfect Experience with Naupaka Events & Weddings!

    Working with Naupaka Events & Weddings was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation to the final moment of our wedding weekend, they provided an absolute perfect experience. Their professionalism and attention to detail are unmatched—every deadline was met seamlessly, and they were incredibly timely and organized throughout the entire process.

    Because they handled absolutely everything behind the scenes, we were actually able to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our celebration.     Dayna and her team was an absolute joy to work with! We secured Naupaka Events for both planning and coordination for our big day. We are forever grateful that Dayna was with us every step of the way, holding our hand through the selection of each vendor, freak outs, and major decisions--she made the process feel easy! Dayna and her team are very professional and are the kindest people. We cannot recommend them enough for their services for the day of coordination. They are PROS! The team truly was a life saver, we were able to completely enjoy ourselves knowing that all the big and little details were being taken cared of--especially for handling all the unexpected hiccups and troubleshooting along the way. It meant the world to us to be have been able to fully enjoy our whirlwind of a wedding day that went by in a blink of an eye.     Made our dreams come true!

    Dayna and her team were the best thing to happen to my husband and I! From issues with the venue, the venue switching staff and planning a wedding in Hawaii from Illinois it was crazy. Yet with Dayna’s help our wedding was perfect. Her and her team are organized, efficient and professional. All of the vendors she supplied us with were fantastic and the wedding day went off without an issue. I wish I had her to plan all my life’s events! If you are looking for a wedding planner stop looking and go with Naupaka Events!

    So grateful!!!

    Dayna Wong was absolutely incredible every step of the way. We chose the month-of coordination package, but she supported us for several months leading up to the wedding. She made sure we were on track the entire planning process, and was beyond calm, friendly, and helpful with every detail. She had an answer for all of our questions and helped us make decisions that were authentic to us. Every call was so pleasant, the communication was excellent, and by the time the wedding rolled around we felt like we could sit back and enjoy - she was handling everything! I would recommend her 100 times over. Her husband was also amazing and a lifesaver on wedding day.     Loved working with Dayna + Naupaka Events

    We had the absolute best experience working with Dayna and the Naupaka Events team. From the very beginning, Dayna was flexible, knowledgeable, and genuinely a joy to work with. She helped us map out our entire wedding timeline with so much care and clarity, and she was always open to any idea we brought her way, big or small.

    On the day of the wedding, the team she brought with her was professional, calm, and truly wonderful. You could feel how experienced they were, and it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. Dayna also has fantastic relationships with other vendors, which made planning seamless, and her rental inventory was a great added bonus.

    Her pricing is very fair, honestly, more than reasonable given the level of service and expertise she provides. We sincerely cannot recommend Naupaka Events enough. If you’re considering working with Dayna, do it. She was one of the best decisions we made. We love you Dayna!

    We really enjoyed working with Dayna. She has such great experience and insight which was crucial for us as this was a destination wedding. Everything was so well planned and coordinated. She helped so much to make our vision become reality. Her advice on everything from table arrangements to vendor selection was really important to create such a special day for our family and guests.     Outstanding coordination! Highly recommend.

    Dayna was such a rockstar and we couldn’t imagine what our day would have been like without her and her team!!!

    We hired Dayna as our day-of coordinator. She took over all vendor communication about a month before, and made sure our vendors knew where to be and when. She reviewed our timeline with us well in advance, walked through the venue in-person with us on FaceTime, and even allowed us to ship all of our decor to her home address. All of this made planning our destination wedding so much easier!

    On the big day, Dayna was there bright and early to setup all of our rentals and decor (including knotting our napkins just so). She went above and beyond making sure we both felt supported while getting ready, walking down the aisle, and up until the very last song. The next morning, we woke up to all of our flowers and decor neatly placed back in our Suite.

    There was rain on the forecast a few days before the wedding, which caused us some last minute stress. Dayna magically found 50+ umbrellas for our guests to use and made sure that our tables were covered during the passing shower. Her efforts to make sure the weather did not interfere with our day did not go unnoticed. All of our guests had a wonderful time and commented on how efficient and professional Dayna was. She kept a cool, calm, and collected energy the entire time, and made sure the day ran smoothly.

    Thanks to Dayna and her wonderful team, our wedding was truly a dream come true!

    We chose her Onipa’a package, let me tell you, THE BEST! Day before and day-of coordination. Even when we were wedding planning ourselves, she was extremely helpful from the moment we signed her to day after our wedding. Her and her team went ABOVE & BEYOND. They come very professional and prepared to make your wedding day very smooth and enjoyable! If you’re indecisive on getting a coordinator, 110% go with Naupaka Events. Definitely worth your business. You won’t regret it! We will forever recommend Dayna and Naupaka Events.

    The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding! Highly Recommend

    Hiring Dayna was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. She was truly a lifesaver throughout the whole process—keeping us organized, answering every little question (and there were a lot!), and making sure we felt supported every step of the way especially when planning from long distance. Whenever I was stressed, Dayna was quick to jump on a call to make sure I felt supported. She and her husband, Chris, came out to do multiple site visits to scout our venue and another one when we came to visit. She truly went above and beyond and let us ship decor to her house and delivered them to us when we arrived in Hawaii to set up.

    On the wedding day, she somehow managed to be everywhere at once, handling all the moving pieces so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I kept looking around thinking, “This is better than I ever imagined,” and that’s 100% because of Dayna. Because of her, we got to just enjoy the day with our family and friends, which is priceless.

    She cared about us not just as clients but as people, and that made all the difference. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of (and more) because of her hard work, creativity, and love. She truly made wedding planning easy, our wedding day perfect and I couldn't have done it without Dayna and her team! We’ll forever be grateful for everything she did to make it so special.

    Dayna and her team are 10/10

    We highly recommend Dayna Wong and her team at Naupaka Events! We booked Dayna’s “month of coordination package” for our wedding at Holualoa Inn. Immediately upon booking 1 year out, Dayna was available for calls with us as frequently as we wanted to schedule them, and then she took over 30 days out. She handled communication with every single vendor, and even let us ship items straight to her home—so helpful. On the wedding day, she was calm, organized, and made us feel completely relaxed. She also provided baskets for our dance floor favors, passed out our desserts, and managed clean up for us (extra charge but well worth it- included full event cleanup, cleaning rented plates, trash and more). Everything ran flawlessly, and she even made sure we ate! Dayna laughed alongside us the entire process and made things feel organized yet never stressful. We absolutely loved working with Dayna and strongly recommend her to other couples!

    Dayna = Simply the Best

    From our very first conversation it was obvious that Dayna truly loves her work. We started planning /coordinating with her a little late in the game (about 6 months out from our wedding date) and she didn't seem to bat an eye. Each conversation was warm and funny, yet proactive and intentional, and she patiently reminded us of what was important and what wasn't at any given time in the process. Her recommendations for a local florist, a photographer, a nail salon and a lash expert were perfect, and she expertly assisted us in navigating a rather challenging relationship with the Catering Manager at the resort where our wedding took place. We certainly didn't make most of the traditional choices that couples make for the ceremony, or the reception, and none of our choices seemed to cause her any concern in the planning process. Her responses to our emails were prompt, informational and instructional in the kindest way. On the day of our ceremony, the resort tried to move our ceremony to another location and/or time due to the inclement weather, but she helped us stand our ground and ensure that our day went as well as possible despite the rain! She also graciously provided an impromptu MC for the reception to help us with our guest toast request and placed some special guest favors at the dinner tables for us. On our day she remained calm, helpful, funny, and an advocate for our success. Thank you Dayna - we could not have done it without you!

    The Wedding Planner Every Couple Dreams Of — Dayna Is Simply the Best

    From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey (nearly a full year out) we knew we were in amazing hands with Dayna. She is the kind of planner who makes the entire process feel easy and even enjoyable (yes, enjoyable!). She was always incredibly responsive, flexible, and organized, which made a huge difference as we navigated everything from vendor questions to timeline tweaks.

    Dayna used Aisle Planner to keep everything streamlined and on track, and her communication was always clear, timely, and thoughtful. She made us feel supported and confident every step of the way.

    But where she truly shined was on our wedding day. Dayna was an absolute force of calm and control. She was professional yet fun, incredibly thorough yet easygoing, and handled everything with such grace and precision. She went above and beyond in every way — adjusting on the fly when needed, keeping everything flowing smoothly, keeping everyone's stress levels low, and always making sure we were feeling good and taken care of.

    A special shoutout to her amazing husband, Chris, as well, who jumped in as the ultimate second pair of hands. When needed, he even drove our wedding party around in a golf cart, helped the ladies with umbrellas during scattered showers, and was always nearby to offer an extra strong set of arms when the wet floors got slippery. Together, they were the dream team we didn’t know we needed. Truly bringing calm, capability, and genuine kindness to the day.

    Five Star Destination Wedding Planner!!!

    HANDS DOWN SHE WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT FOR OUR WEDDING!
    When my husband and I decided to do a destination wedding to the Big Island, we knew that we were going to need a wedding planner. Both of us are very busy professionals and do not have a lot of spare time. While living on the East Coast, the 6 hour time difference would pose a challenge with coordinating communication if we were going to do this on own our. Dayna was an absolute godsend for us. When I first reached out to her to discuss us working together, I essentially said that we wanted a level of planning from her that would facilitate us to "just show up on our wedding day." LOL. Let me tell you, she did exactly that. Our lives were made so much easier having her. She coordinated and did all of the behind the scenes work with our wedding venue and our vendors. She helped develop our time line. She checked in with us regularly via emails, Zooms, and phone calls throughout the several months of planning. I was able to mail her all of my wedding decor a month ahead of time. For me, I am a Type A planning person, and I did not feel once of stress with our wedding planning process. Dayna literally had that **** on lockdown and under control.

    Our rehearsal and wedding day ran so smoothly. I literally do not know if there was any hiccups in the day, and if there was, then Dayna handled it all seamlessly. My only sadness is that our big day is over and I won't have another event to plan with Dayna in the future (at least for now).

    Do not hesitate to book her!!! Five stars all around. Go with Dayna! Thank you so much for making our special day so great!!

    Wedding 2025 at Royal Kona

    Our wedding held at the Royal Kona was beautifully done and working with their wedding planner Dayna took all the stress out of the planning process. Although not inexpensive, it was completely worth the price.

    10000000/10 Dayna is the BEST!

    Choosing to work with Dayna was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! We decided to work with Dayna through her "Wedding Coordination" package, which included both day-of coordination and coordination in advance of our event. Dayna was instrumental in creating our timeline, seating chart, and coordinating the different personalized touches we had throughout our event. There are three primary things that stand out about Dayna and the entire Naupaka team:

    1. Everyone loves Dayna! Whenever I told another vendor we were working with Naupaka, they immediately smiled and said we were in good hands. It gave me great peace of mind to know that Dayna has positive relationships with all the vendors we were working with, and I knew that the setup and final preparations with our vendors would be seamless. And they were seamless! She made things easy, and has a wealth of knowledge. Any question we had or problem we encountered, Dayna had already experienced given she works so closely with many vendors on the Big Island.
    2. Dayna has a calm but confident personality. Every single time we spoke with Dayna, I left the conversation feeling a sense of calm. She consistently gave us expert advice and I was happy with all the decisions we made together. While Dayna is calm, she has meticulous attention to detail, executed our timeline to a T, and made sure every detail was perfect.
    3. She goes above and beyond. Dayna is an excellent and timely communicator, and was always willing to jump on a call or review a contract. Working with her is so straightforward and easy - she is exceptionally trustworthy, and instilled so much confidence in us and our families.

    Finally, Dayna is simply a wonderful person. She is kind, fun, and funny, and she made us feel so confident and happy on our wedding day. I would recommend working with Dayna and the entire Naupaka team to anyone and everyone!

    High Quality

    Dayna made me feel at ease every time we communicated with her during a year of planning before the big day! She is super calm and easy to work with. She is also very reassuring and made me feel like I could ask any question and work with her on all aspects of her wedding. She also came through with amazing vendors and ideas we had never thought about. Overall, we are SO happy we went with Naupaka events. Her whole team was amazing the day of the event and handles every situation that came up. 10/10 would choose her again!!

    Wedding Event

    Dayna and her team did amazing job coordinating our dream wedding. They guided us on things that needed to be done by having a checklist on our personal page provided by them.
    They’re very flexible, helpful, and creative. Dayna is very attentive and made sure that we get the best in everything.
    Her and her team are good in communicating, following up on things, and most of all are the nicest, genuine people out there. They go extra mile to find resources, suggestions, and ensure that they execute the vision we have for our wedding. We can’t thank them enough for coordinating our wedding. Our guests enjoyed it and can’t stop talking how great it was!

    Patrick and Nora wedding

    Dayna is the absolute best. She was always available, super organized. We did not worry about a single thing the week of our wedding. She organized both the rehearsal party and wedding and knocked it put of the park. We had a last minute change of location for the wedding due to weather and she was absolutely amazing.

    Made Our Day A Dream!!!

    Dayna and her team were so amazing! We hired Naupaka events for day of coordinator wedding and she was an amazing communicator. Even though we only hired her for the day, we were still able to contact her throughout the year with any questions we had. She was flexible and understanding. Loved working with her and her team and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. This day couldn’t have gone any better and flowed very nicely because of her. Living in California, Dayna met with us virtually on a frequent basis, took our personalities into consideration, and gave us an amazing list of vendors for every aspect of our wedding week. Her positive outlook helped ease our stresses every time we spoke and always reassured us when we were uncertain of our next steps. She provided various options, and offered to be a go-between to ensure communication with vendors was smooth and concise.

    Best investment I made for the wedding

    Don’t hesitate to hire Dayna if you are considering it! Hiring Dayna as a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! She was recommended to me through my venue (Outrigger Kona). From day one she was easy to talk to, responsive, and communicative. Together we worked through ups and downs (I had to move up and downsize my wedding).

    Dayna offers a number of packages and I used her as a day of coordinator. I initially reached out to various vendors to set the date and general asks on my end. Closer to the wedding Dayna took the reins and handled the details, setting up a timeline and filling coordinating details with the vendors like pick-up/drop-off, set-up, etc. It took a lot of weight off my shoulders for the days leading up to the wedding and especially the day of.

    Dayna thought of all the details and the wedding day went better than I even thought possible. (I thought it would be great, but it was amazing!) When I didn’t have extra baskets for card collection and other knick knacks for the guests, she brought her own. She even came to the rescue of my flower girl who popped the seams on her dress by having a packet of safety pins handy.

    I’m sure Dayna would be equally great doing full service coordination. It’s clear she has a lot of relationships and know-how. I cannot recommend her enough!

    Best decision ever!!!

    Dayna is amazing! Leading up to the wedding she was so helpful giving us ideas for the day. She had so much insight that I never would have thought of. We had multiple meetings to make sure everything was good to go. When it came to the rehearsal and day of she was calm and organized. No matter what came up she was ready to pivot to find a solution. She saved me by having extra Bobby pins and Tylenol when I needed it! I highly recommend especially if you are not local to Hawaii. Dayna checked out our venue and chatted with vendors providing lots of photos so it felt like I was there! 10/10 recommend Naupaka Events & Weddings!

    So grateful for Naupaka Events/Dayna

    We hired Dayna about a year before our wedding in Kona. From the first time we spoke with her, we could tell she was knowledgeable, professional and very calm. We hired her for our day of coordinator (she takes over 30 days before) and she was always available for small questions throughout the planning process. To say she was one of our most trusted and important vendors is an understatement.

    Like any wedding, we had small hiccups on our big day but Dayna and her team took care of everything with ease. She was able to rally all our vendors together as a cohesive team and always made sure we were comfortable. We honestly didn't notice any of those said "hiccups" and we had the best wedding day.

    Dayna is Your Trusted Partner

    I made a commitment to have the wedding in 6 months. With nothing planned and never tried on a dress. I visited a few resorts on the Big Island in person, and got their recommend planner lists, that's how I found Dayna.
    My priorities are clear. I want the planning process to be efficient, and stress free. Which requires a planner that's clam with strong communication skills, and very well organized.
    Dayna and I immediately clicked! I have a busy work schedule, some-what typed A, have been known as the "Planner" for all trips in my social circle, and have planned multiple corporate events (100+ attendees) from start to finish, very good with numbers and keeping budget. Some would say a harder bride to work with, one planner actually told me in honesty, which I very much appreciate, that we won't be a good fit.
    The key is Dayna respected me and understood me! She even suggested with my background and knowledge, I would only need her for her 2nd full package, as I was going to hire her for her most covered package, and saved me $3k just there. We didn't sign till after I secured my venue, and she was already helping me.
    Since we were on a tight timeline, (4 months left), we met weekly for 30-60 mins to discuss progress and kept me on track. She's also very responsive with her emails outside of our meeting time to answer urgent questions. She was always calm and respectful, which I found very very helpful in the planning process. She never tried to force anything on me and knew when to voice her opinion when I was going down the wrong path. I was able to pick out all of the vendors based on my own likings and research, with her expert advice. When I ran into issues with the venue, she's also able to stand up for me and took away my stress.
    The wedding day was busy and passed so fast but I was able to just enjoy and not to worry about anything. Because Dayna is a trusted parter. She was with me every step of the way, and understood my full vision and had all the backup plans. All in all, I can't thank her enough for all this.
    I 10/10 highly recommend her. Especially if your priority is to have a efficient, stress-free and smooth planning process.

    Dayna was so easy to work with, we were planning from the east coast, and she was so helpful doing site visits when we picked the venue, and made planning all the other details incredibly easy as well. She was super patient with us as we made changes, and kept everything straight so we didn't have to worry about anything. We did have some issues with vendors backing out, but Dayna solved these problems very quickly and with little stress to us. The wedding day went beautifully, and we didn't worry about any details.     Dayna, Chris, and team went SO above and beyond.
    Communication was on point. They provided feedback throughout the process, even though they only provide day-of service (for a bride doing it all alone, this was CLUTCH). They helped me find a ton of my vendors, and kept everything so organized. They were professional, but super fun, the value of their service is insane, and I didn't stress for a moment the day of my wedding.     You should 1000% hire Dayna and her team to coordinate your wedding day.

    Truthfully, I thought I could plan and execute my wedding by myself…and I’m so glad I didn’t.

    Dayna’s expertise is unmatched. Leading up to the wedding, she asked me questions on items I didn’t even think through to ensure a seamless wedding day.

    Dayna is cool, calm and collected. I had a storm forecast during my wedding week and she brought an energy that allowed a positive perspective leading up to the day thinking through plans A, B, and C.

    Dayna is reliable. She not only followed through on all her promises, but exceeded my expectations fully. Even 6 months prior, Dayna gave me the same attention as she did on my wedding day.

    The week of the wedding was hectic and the little details really started to matter. Dayna really kicked into high gear at this time and took a ton of stress off my plate so I could truly enjoy the experience.

    I spoke to three other vendors before choosing Dayna. I felt her approach to coordinating was the most practical, welcoming, and genuine. I could reach out to her at any point through text, phone, or zoom (1 year or 1 hour out) to lean on her expertise.

    I had a strong vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like. I picked and planned many of the big ticket items. But I am so sure that my wedding day would 1) not come out as beautiful as it did 2) be an unpleasant headache if I didn’t have Dayna coordinating. She’s more than worth her price to make your wedding day special.

    With a timeframe of only one month, Dayna transformed our vision into a gorgeous reality. She was very hands on throughout the planning process, thoughtful, and professional. Dayna was great about creating and making recommendations to our timeline and details that would make sense logistically and meet our vision. We also loved that she set us up with Aisle Planner to stay on track with details and deadlines. Dayna and her team were all so attentive, responsive, professional, and kind.     Large Outdoor/Ranch Tent Wedding

    Working with Dayna was an easy choice! She went above and beyond with her team to help our wedding vision come to life. She was available before typical 30 days to create cohesive plans, advice on vendors, and smooth out details. Her calm, dedicated, passionate demeanor made it a pleasure to work with her from afar for our destination wedding. We did the planning ourselves and she helped us implement to achieve an 130 person outdoor/tent wedding with tangerine place cards that we wouldn't have been able to do without her help setting up/etc. We might've created a little tight of a timeline, so we did loose time at multiple points during the day and got behind with the photographer, but the day was still amazing. On the day of, when things went wrong (e.g. my father collapsing, my lei being to large), she was able to find solutions with the other vendors so that we could continue to enjoy our day! I could not recommend dayna more!

    Fantastic Big Island, Hawaii Wedding Coordinator

    We worked with Dayna at Naupaka Events to coordinate our wedding on the Big Island in Hawaii. Dayna was extremely professional and responsive to all of our needs and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of. We planned our wedding from a different state and couldn't have asked for a better person to rely on. Dayna met with us a couple of days before the wedding to iron out last minute details, and even though we had some tentative timing scenarios due to our hotel check-in time, Dayna ensured we had a back-up plan for everything and was incredibly flexible to ensure the day followed our vision. We had absolutely no stress on the day of; we just showed up and felt completely secure in knowing Dayna had everything covered.     I cannot recommend Naupaka Events & Weddings enough. We had a small destination wedding (site unseen!) and Dayna truly made everything go more smoothly than I could have ever imagined. Leading up to the big day, Dayna was always very responsive and quick to answer any questions. I felt like the really understood the vision we had for our wedding. She's always on top of things, never missing a beat and staying one step ahead so that you don't need to worry about forgetting anything. She knows the Island and event vendors SO well and that makes a huge difference.

    On the day of the event(s), Naupaka Events + Weddings ensured everything was executed perfectly. When small, last-minute changes inevitably arose, they handled them seamlessly, keeping everyone calm in the process (and also managing the some strong family personalities like complete pros! :) ) The team went above and beyond to add incredible personal touches that truly made the day.

    Dayna was incredibly helpful leading up to our day. Kawe was the perfect coordinator. Checking in with me throughout the night, helping keep the event on schedule, answered all of my questions, assisted with making decisions, listened to all of my ideas and helped me bring them to life. Also directed all of my family that were helping get the venue ready, which allowed me to get ready with no stress or worries.     Truly the best

    I can’t thank Dayna and her team enough for being the back bone of our special day. From the initial call to the day after the wedding, they were there for us. We had a larger wedding that required a extra elbow grease. Helping us find the right vendors and getting additional staff to be sure the day went smoothly was just what we needed. After working in the wedding industry myself I knew how important having a day of coordinator was. Not only did Dayna meet my expectations, but she treated me like family.     Incredible Wedding Coordinator

    Working with Dayna was an incredible experience and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Firstly, we had our wedding plans derailed by COVID, which means that she essentially helped us plan our wedding twice, when we needed to change venues the second time around. As we planned our wedding remotely, she traveled to and gave us walkthroughs of multiple venue options, kept us updated on the everchanging COVID restrictions/protocols in Hawaii, and was also very responsive to all of our communication. She had exceptional attention to detail and helped execute my dream wedding exactly as we planned it. Lastly but certainly not least she was so kind and warm everytime we spoke and truly embodies the aloha spirit. I am so happy we got to work with Dayna and would recommend her to anyone!

    Dayna Wong's Wedding Coordination Service was a key part in making our wedding day a dream come true!

    We are so happy that we were able to have Dayna Wong coordinate our wedding! Before the wedding day, Dayna was able to connect us to many reputable vendors. We do not live in Hawaii, so having these recommendations and connections with good vendors was greatly needed. Dayna also provided planning and timeline templates that helped us create a minute-by-minute schedule for the day and ensure that everything we wanted was going to happen seamlessly. Dayna was very responsive to emails and phone calls leading up to the wedding day. We went to sleep the night before the wedding having no stress nor concerns that the next day would be beautiful and just what we were hoping for. Dayna was at the wedding site all day to oversee set up, clean up, vendor arrivals, and give general guidance. No one in our wedding party needed to arrive early to help set up, and they all (especially our parents) greatly appreciated that. And during the actual wedding, Dayna made sure that our discussed timeline was executed to perfection. If there were any complications during set up or the wedding, we did not know of them because Dayna had it all handled! It was an amazing experience, and we greatly appreciate Dayna's services that made our dream wedding day a perfect reality

    Fantastic Experience

    Dayna is a wonderful wedding planner. We chose to have a destination wedding, traveling from California to Hawaii. Having never visited the Big Island before, there's so much we didn't know and we depended on Dayna to make important decisions. She did a site visit for us to help us choose the place for the ceremony, and gave us lots of great vendors to make the day special from caterers to shaved ice vendors. All the big and small details were attended to, and we had a wonderful day. It would not have been possible without Dayna, so we recommend her very highly.

    Amazing all around

    We planned a Big Island wedding remotely from Austin, TX and it wouldn’t have been possible without Dayna. We had no idea what to do from table settings to signage and she connected us with the right people, and executed everything. We didn’t have to lift a finger. We wanted menus printed and she took care of all of it locally so that we didn’t have to fly to Hawaii with a lot of excess stuff. The day of she made sure that everything looked perfect!!! (And that everyone stayed on time). She was never pushy, she made you feel calm and organized. Chris was also fantastic and made sure we got all the photos we wanted with family and friends in an organized fashion. He literally memorized the names of our 89 guests so that he could line people up to efficiently get photos done. She helped us with the marriage certificate process. She was truly FULL SERVICE. She hosted not one but basically two weddings for us when you account for the welcome dinner she coordinated for us also. I can’t imagine getting married or having a special event without Dayna’s help. We so so appreciate her!

    Okay, people. Buckle up. You can read this whole review, or you can just book Dayna now and read this later (If she isn't booked up already). Wow, we found Dayna after starting down the wedding planning path with another coordinator who was not listening to what we wanted at all and was charging waaaaaay more than I could justify spending. I was so frustrated that I had to start the planning process over again, and then we found Dayna. Right from the get go, Dayna listened to what we wanted and gave us recommendations for vendors that allowed us to curate what we wanted for the day. She helped me get ahold of vendors and made it so easy to make changes. Last minute (the week before), we decided we wanted to bring in entertainment for the evening, and Dayna found us a musician that exceeded our expectations and was way below our budget! Planning a destination wedding, especially during a pandemic, had its challenges. Dayna answered every call, text and email, as well as every question and request. I'm not sure how many times she had to pull over on the highway to look something up for me, but she ALWAYS took the time. When we finally got to meet Dayna, I was even more impressed. Dayna is a very warm person. She is organized, courteous and she gets shit done. We (Dayna) had to adapt our reception due to weather, and, as the bride, I didn't notice how all of the tables were moved until after it was all done. Seriously, she's so professional and she took the stress out of the day. The woman has everything in her fanny pack, except for tolerance for a screw-up. Boob tape? Check. Double sided tape? Check. Zip ties? Check. Bobby-pins, an itch stick - the list goes on. Oh, and I can't forget to mention her super side-kick, Chris. Chris kept us laughing and made our pictures go super smoothly, as he coordinated all of the group shots for the photographer. He doubled as a valet, baby charmer and some much needed comic relief. Chris and Dayna can move and set up tables faster than anyone I've ever seen. They're the perfect team and set the bar high for what I hope marriage will be like for us. Okay, so lets circle back. Book Dayna. She's got everything covered. She should charge way more than she does. She's calm, cool and collected, and is so, so kind. All the vendors were so happy to work with her.     The best everr

    Theres so much good things I can say about Naupaka Events! First off, Dayna has been a lifesaver for me. I honestly could not have done it without her. I am a high anxiety type of person and whenever I had a breakdown, I reached out to Dayna and she helped me as best as she could and assured me everything will be okay. She is so calm and attentive, I really needed someone like her. She's a fast responder and is quick with answers, I could not recommend her more! The day of my wedding was a breeze knowing she was there coordinating. She competed everything I asked for. Dayna and her staff were so kind and honestly made me and my husband feel so at ease the day of our wedding. I will always recommend her and Naupaka Events to my friends and family in the future!     Day of Wedding Coordinator

    Naupaka Events was incredible! We hired Dayna, the owner of Naupaka Events, 3 months before our wedding and felt an instant connection with her. I had spoke with 4 other planners prior, all that made us feel like it was just business and we were just another wedding. Dayna was different, she made you feel that your wedding was just as special to her as it was to us. As soon as we hired her, I was instantly less stressed and enjoyed the planning process so much more. She helped me get organized right away. Our venue was a beautiful estate, which had some challenges. When she was hired, the first thing she did was book a property tour so she was fully prepared. I had also never seen our venue in person since I was in California, so she took tons of videos and pictures for me. She helped me find vendors when I was having trouble, she worked with my budget, came up with great options for any issues that arose, kept all my vendors on the same page and organized, and was always available to talk/ answer all questions.

    Dayna and her husband moved all of the venues lanai furniture the day before the wedding since we were on a snorkel tour. They saved us so much time, stress and energy. It was just one of the many things Dayna did extra to ensure everything went smoothly.

    The day of the wedding was so relaxing because Dayna took care of every detail while I just enjoyed getting ready. She set up tons of candles, place cards, pictures, chairs, tables, signs, and the entire bar. As the ceremony started, so did the rain unexpectedly. Again, thanks to Danya I had no worries. Our reception was mostly outside, but she took care of it all. Moved tables and rearranged so everyone was under cover. The day went perfect and the rain really had no effect.

    Dayna goes the extra mile and more! She helps create your perfect day, understanding what you want and bringing it to life. I felt so comfortable with her and enjoyed every conversation we had.     The BEST Wedding Coordinator I could have asked for!

    Oh My gosh, I don’t know even know where to begin. Naupaka Events & weddings is seriously a god send when it comes to help with your wedding or any event for the fact. Dayna and her team are LITERALLY miracle workers. I could go on and on about this wonderful team and how on it they are when it comes to doing events. Back in January I was looking for a wedding coordinator for my upcoming wedding in July of 2021. I was referred to Dayna and her team by my hairstylist, and I could not have been thankful enough. From the start, Dayna was on top of it, and emailed me the same day I reached out to her. We scheduled a phone call and talked on the phone for 45 mins. I knew from that phone call that Dayna was going to be my girl to get me through all this wedding stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to create a bond with someone you just met, but with Dayna I felt so comfortable with her and knew I could reach out to her whenever I needed too. Over the next 6ish months Dayna and I met in person and went over all the checklists of what I needed to get done. It was so helpful having her by my side, and to answer any questions that I had, but to also vent to her when i needed to. Dayna is a straight up boss when it comes to making timelines for a wedding, and She made it so easy for me. When it came to the day of the wedding everything was flawless because of her and her team!!! The the day of my wedding, help that was supposed to be there to setup fell through. Dayna saved the day, along with my florist and best friend Chad who put everything together on their own. I will forever be thankful to her and him for doing that. Throughout my wedding everything was literally perfect! Dayna and her team made the day flawless and everything went according to the timeline. They picked up the trash left over from guests, put the speciality items away in my mother in laws car, put things in boxes so they wouldn’t blow away, organized everything for me so it was easy to grab the next day, they put back all the chairs, and put aside the items that I rented for the rental company to make it easy for them for pick up, and so much more. With the venue we rented it was my job to come back the next day to clean up what was left over. Because of Naupaka Events, they made my job so flippin easy for clean.     Naupaka Events Review

    Dayna was extremely professional and helpful in planning and coordinating the wedding.

    She was very organized and followed up with all vendors prior to the event as well as providing a detailed timeline.

    The most valuable service was having her and her team at the rehearsal and day of the wedding to help in a successful execution of the wedding. She facilitated all events smoothly and coordinated with all key players. Dayna and her team went above and beyond when last minute issues arose during the wedding ceremony and resolved them on the spot.

    I loved working with Dayna and I would highly recommend her service.

    I followed her on Instagram for awhile so I already seen her work and made my decision so easy to choose her for my planner. She was a dream.     Made Our Big Day Stress-Free and Perfect!

    I worked with Dayna for about a year, and she was absolutely amazing! She’s very responsible, professional, and always had an answer for every question I asked (and I had a lot!). She was also very flexible with her schedule, even taking phone meetings when things got busy.

    On our wedding day, she was calm, organized, and handled everything so professionally. The decorations looked super cute — she did all the setup and cleanup perfectly! Even though the timeline got a little behind, she managed everything smoothly and kept everything on track. We made a few last-minute requests during the wedding, and she took care of them right away.

    I’m so thankful for her help — she made the planning process so much easier and the day itself unforgettable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner!
