You will not regret choosing Natalya for hair and makeup on your wedding day! She is an incredible artist, and an even lovelier person. From the very first discussion, I was confident about her professionalism, experience, vision, and disposition. Her prices are very fair, which is just the first of many green flags that shows you can trust her and that she cares a lot about her clients. On the wedding day, she arrived perfectly on time and her calm and warm demeanor set the tone for a truly unforgettable day. She was patient with a variety of different personalities in my wedding party, listening and executing in a manner that every single one of us felt so beautiful and confident on the day. I changed my vision between my trial and the wedding day, and she immediately knew exactly what I was looking for, and the final outcome was flawless. The hair and makeup is the first thing you do on your wedding day, and it truly does set the tone for how the rest of the day will go - so it's important that you have the right fit (both in personality and execution) with your hair and makeup team. Natalya and her makeup assistant Rebecca were the perfect team to make that happen for me, and I will always be so thankful I chose Natalya to help me kick off the perfect wedding day!

Both Talented and a Beautiful Soul

I had the honor of working with Natalya for my wedding make-up and hair. From the moment we first talked on the phone, I knew she was “the one.” Natalya exudes positive energy and holds such an inner peace it makes you feel at ease in her presence. She first welcomed me into her beautiful home studio for the make-up trial and spent a great amount of time just talking to me to understand my worries as well as my hopes. She wasn’t rushed and offered me tea to help feel at home. It worked! I felt very relaxed in her presence and immediately trusted her mastery. She even created a beautiful hairstyle to consider, so that it could match my glammed makeover. Upon seeing her work, we continued to connect and talk through ideas for subtle changes and she welcomed photos for inspiration, but I knew from that initial moment that I would feel like a princess on my big day. The day before the wedding, we switched up the getting ready venue and Natalya didn’t blink an eye, just happily agreed to the shift and showed up the morning of with her usual joyful spirit. She quickly got to work on the bridesmaids and mother of the bride, magnifying each of their beauty. When it got to me, she provided her calming hand on my back and I watched as she worked her magic. The end result was breathtaking and I have never felt so beautiful. I can’t say enough great things about Natalya – she has an enourmously kind heart and gentle spirit and her talent is remarkable. Creative florals

Natalya is an exceptional hair and makeup artist. Her professionalism, punctuality, and creativity are truly impressive. Initially, I was considering a simple hair ornament, but Natalya designed a unique arrangement with fresh flowers that completely wowed me. The experience was made even more special by her inviting me into her beautiful, serene home just before the busy day began. I also appreciate her flexibility to move the appointment up an hour as well.

Highly recommend Natalya!

Natalya is incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. She did my wedding day hair & makeup, 3 bridesmaids hair, my mom and mother in law’s hair & makeup, and last but not least, my daughter’s hair! She listens to your inspo and offers her advice to ensure you look and feel your best on the big day. She was very patient, even when a few things started going sideways with the day of set up (unrelated to hair) and took great care of everyone, including making my 3 year old daughter feel special. Natalya’s prices are very fair, especially compared to what some other places are charging, and you get 5 star quality service.

Highly highly recommend Natalya!

Natalya is incredibly professional and wonderful to work with. She did my wedding day hair & makeup; six attendants hair; and my mom's hair & make-up the morning of my wedding. Natalya listens to your visions and accepts any requested modifications (I wanted a bold lip) with poise. I treated all of my bridesmaids to having their hair done and although it made for an early morning since my husband and I were doing a first look, all the gals absolutely loved their hair. Some of my friends with straight hair even kept their curls the whole night! My mom also looked fabulous with her hair and make-up done. I have thick hair and my biggest concern was that my hair would fall down. Natalya heard me and made sure it was prepared to stay put! Natalya's prices are incredibly fair (especially compared to some of the beauty farming companies), for the very incredibly high quality services you receive. I highly recommend working with her and know that all of my bridesmaids also agree!

Great hair and make up for group

I’m so glad I picked Natalya to do hair abs make up for my January 2022 wedding. From my trial to the day of she was a wonderful calming presence. I had a few high level ideas for for hair and makeup and she helped make recommendations on what would look best for me. She made adjustments to the day of look based on feedback from the trial and it was clear she really reflected on what would work, despite the months between the trial and day of. Natayla did hair and make up for four people. We had a tight timeline as we had to drive to the ceremony space and she kept us on track. Despite the pace at which she had to move, she didn’t rush with anyone. The make up she did was flattering for both me, my MOH, and both moms. I got so many compliments on my hair as well. It was very intricate, but stayed put the whole day (12 hours) and was very comfortable!

Cannot recommend her enough!!

While planning my wedding in DC, it was a challenge to find a hair stylist who’s style matched mine until I met Natalya! Natalya truly is an artist! She took time to get to know me and my vision during our hair trial at her lovely home studio. She never made me feel rushed and she had a beautiful vision. On the day of the wedding, she did my hair (even more perfect than the trial!) and the hair of 5 of my bridesmaids. She even finished ahead of schedule. It was such a pleasure to work with Natalya and I highly recommend her!

Fantastic bridal hair and makeup experience with Natalya Diamond!

Natalya Diamond created my bridal hair and makeup look for my wedding day and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Natalya! If you are looking for a bridal/bridesmaid hair and makeup artist, look no further and hire her NOW! From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew I could trust Natalya with creating the perfect bridal hair and makeup look I was hoping for. She listened to my vision and offered suggestions on how to make my bridal vision come true (which I gladly accepted - her expertise is unparalleled and my bridal hair and makeup turned out fantastic.) Natalya has incredible attention to detail and is warm and friendly! I really enjoyed spending the morning of my wedding with her and she made me completely at ease throughout the process. She showed up early on the day of my wedding and was the calming presence that I needed that day. She also explained everything to me before she did anything and ensured I was happy with the results throughout the process. My hair and airbrush makeup stayed for the entire night (12+ hours!) and still looked flawless after many hours of photos, dinner and dancing. Natalya is a perfectionist and truly an artist - I was thrilled with both my hair and makeup and received endless compliments on my bridal hair and makeup thanks to Natalya! Natalya also has very fair prices for the quality of the work that she delivers.

National Diamond is a True Gem

I was so thrilled and grateful that Natalya was able to do my hair and that of my bridal party on my special day. She is an incredibly talented hairstylist and very dedicated to her clients and her craft. She went above and beyond. Natalya intently listened to and studied my style inspiration and over-delivered on the day of my wedding. She made such elegant and intricate hairstyles which elevated the wedding to a different level. She perfectly captured my request to channel the Audrey Hepburn style with an elegant, coiffed updo that flattered my features and elongated my neck. Talented, Beautiful Hair & Makeup Artist

Natalya and her assistant, Lisa, were incredible! She made me very comfortable at my hair and makeup trial, explaining what products she was using and recommending products specific to my skincare needs. I’ve never seen foundation blend so naturally on my skin! On the day of the wedding, Natalya and Lisa actually beat us to our venue to get ready and got through myself, my mom, and my bridesmaids ahead of schedule. Our hair and makeup stayed put well and she is fairly reasonably priced. Although she didn’t do either my hair or makeup exactly like my trial, I still trusted her. I was worried that my makeup on the wedding day was a bit too dark, but she was right that it came out great in the pictures and just took some getting used to since it’s so different than your everyday makeup. She also loaned me a beautiful gold hairpiece that I got so many compliments on!

Very nice, polite, courteous, and punctual

I am writing a review based on my October 19th, 2019 wedding. Prior to the wedding date, I had a trial run at Natalya's house. She sat down with me to figure out my style and comfort level first and it was a long consultation which I appreciated. I really enjoyed the trial run and I looked very nice. On the wedding day, she showed up early and was all business. Some felt that the makeup was a little rushed but everyone's hair was so beautiful. When it became my turn, she looked a bit tired and my makeup did not go like the trial run. I actually liked the trial run so much better than the actual wedding day makeup. However, my hair was on point. She did previously recommend that I do not go last two when it comes to her services so that I have some time to mingle with people before the wedding. I am thinking maybe I should not have gone last so that she could have spent more time with my makeup. My intention was to go last so that my makeup would stay fresh. But everybody complimented on my hair and everyone's hair looked so fantastic. I would say I recommend her for being courteous, nice, professional, and punctual. Price was affordable too.

Natalya and her second makeup artist Lisa, both did amazing jobs. We had a total of 6 girls plus myself, do a mix of hair and makeup, and they were absolutely incredible. Everyone raved about how their hair and makeup turned out and all the girls looked beautiful. She is incredibly talented and professional. She was even extremely patient with my mom's makeup requests as she can be quite particular lol. I could not recommend her enough!!

I highly recommend natalya!

Natalya and Lisa did an amazing job on my bride tribe plus my mother and a wedding guest. That was 9 girls total and you could have imagine all the chaos that went in the bridal suite. Both Lisa and Natalya kept their cool, worked efficiently, were so sweet to us, and made us not only look beautiful but also feel beautiful. When I first met Natalya for my trial, I knew that she was the make-up artist and hairstylist for me because she made sure I loved the look that I wanted by paying attention to detail and symmetry. She was the Mom/Maid of Honor/Bridesmaid all in one sweet package. She even helped me with my dress (because it was a little loose in the boob area) and then placed on my headpiece and veil. It was magical! Her price is not outrageous but I gave her a generous tip because she deserves even more! I highly recommend her and I'll certainly call on her for future engagements because I know she'll do a great job!

The Best!!

Natalye is great!! She is professional, pontual, sweet and a real artist. Me, my mom and my bridesmaid loved the hair and make up she made. We planned something for my hair and on the wedding day she saw how much I loved the real flowers that she put on my bridesmaid, so she improvised with pieces of flowers from the bridesmaid bouquet, without damaging the bouquet but also making my hair even more gorgeous than what we planned. Also the hair and make up stayed perfect and the entire evening and night!

Absolute highest recommendation for hair and makeup!

I can’t say enough good things about Natalya! She’s both incredibly talented and also a wonderful person. I did hair and makeup trial with her for my wedding and she also did my hair and makeup on the wedding day (which was earlier this month - July, 2019). My maid of honor and her little girls also had their hair/makeup done by Natalya and they all loved it and looked beautiful!

When I first met Natalya, I really appreciated that she had prepared questions for me to get an idea of what I wanted and how much makeup I’m used to. She explained her process and then began her work. She’s so gentle when she works that I immediately felt relaxed. The result was beautiful and I got many compliments. Before the wedding, I decided to go with a different hair-style. I sent her photos and ideas and she was very responsive and accommodating the entire time. On the wedding day, she arrived on time and fully prepared. She was calm, so that helped keep me calm and the entire morning was so pleasant, I forgot I to be nervous about the events of the day. 😃

My hair and makeup turned out better than I had imagined. Thanks to Natalya, I felt confident and beautiful on my wedding day. I can’t express how grateful I am to her for sharing her talent, for her patience, and for listening and delivering a stunning end result.

If you choose Natalya for your big day, know you’ll be in good hands. I will be the first to admit I’m not the easiest to please, but when it comes to Natalya, she has more than earned my respect, sincere gratitude, and my honest and highest recommendation.

A Pleasure to Work With

I am so happy I booked Natalya to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She is very sweet and calm, so it was easy to spend time with her during the trial and on my wedding day. I requested a few minor changes after the trial, which she accommodated seamlessly on my wedding day. I could not have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out, and it lasted all night, even with the July heat and humidity! My mom and bridesmaids were similarly happy. She and her assistant arrived promptly and stuck to the schedule of the day, and she had great suggestions when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend her for your big day!

Professional and Personable

Natalya was very responsive and professional. She was quick to answer questions. When doing the trial, she took her time and explained everything she was doing and was able to match my style well. She did an excellent job for my wedding (hair and makeup). All of my bridesmaids and myself were very pleased. Some bridesmaids had their hair done at 9:30am and their hair lasted through the end of the wedding (which was about midnight). She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her - it was a great experience working with her.

the best hair and makeup I could've asked for!

I literally never do my hair or makeup and really was having a tough time finding a hair and makeup team that I felt wouldn't make me look really different/over the top on my wedding day. I found Natayla and did a trial run with her where she took the time to sit down prior and discuss my likes/dislikes, my daily makeup routine, etc. From that she put together the most effortless, gorgeous, and amazing hair/makeup look. I felt like the most beautiful bride in the world on my wedding day- the look photographed so well. I also got services for my bridesmaids and they were blown away by her hair/makeup services- I told her I wish I could hire her for every special occasion in my life!

Seriously 10/10 in all respects. She came out to our cabin in a regional park at 8:30am ready to go!

Natalya was 100% on my team my entire wedding day and the planning! Made a change to our hair plans two weeks before the wedding, she called me right back and was incredibly easy to communicate with. She listened to what really mattered to me and what mattered in balancing all the mothers. She had some helpful/practical suggestions and listened to my concerns about previous bad make-up experiences.
She made all three moms who rarely get their hair done unique and stunning. My sister as well.

And then she worked with my sister and I to find the best hair style for my face shape, the pouring rain, and to fit my grandmother's veil piece from the 1930s in a way I could add and remove without messing up my hair. My husband hates when I have had make-up done for other people's wedding, but just today he mentioned how nice it looked.

In this whole wedding process, I have appreciated the people who make things possible - instead of telling you what can't be done. Natalya was kind, explained everything, has a good sense of humor, and is excellent at what she does. She was also very patient when I was on the phone or texting to deal with last minute details.

Natalya did the hair for my wedding this past August 25th in Washington DC and I can't express in this review how wonderful she is. We did a hair and make up trial and she did exactly what I wanted, I looked for a lot of different hair stylists in the area, and she has truly the best quality work and prices. Her personality is truly lovely, she is a joy to work which is something you need on your big day. My hair did not move the entire night and I went to bed until 4am. My make up was perfect the whole night as well and I felt like the most beautiful bride, take a look at the pictures. Thank you Thank you Natalya.

Natalya made time to meet with me, and work around my busy schedule. As a person who has had the privledge to travel the world and see great hair talent, she subseeded my expectations. After the trial, I had a retinal detachment. Yes, 3 weeks before the wedding. We had to change my hairstyle to work around covering my eye for photos as much as possible. She AGAIN did an incredible job!! She is professional, kind, polite, accommodating and extremely helpful. I searched a lot of vendors for my wedding hair and I am truly happy I chose Natalya!! On a side note she saved the day! While we were zipping my sister up in her wedding dress (guests downstairs, time to start) the zipper on her dress broke. We all panicked and some tears were shed but Natalya jumped in and calmly said everything was okay and deftly sewed her into the dress! She kept calm, when we were't, went way beyond what she had to do and solved a stressful problem. Not only was she an amazing talented professional she truly saved the day.

I am so happy I found Natalya! She is extremely talented at both hair and makeup--I and all four of my bridesmaids all looked amazing. Furthermore, Natalya's demeanor is so sweet and soothing. When I went to her home for my trial, she offered me a cup of tea, and we chatted for a bit about what I was hoping for with my look. I sat in the chair and closed my eyes and just enjoyed the experience--like herself, Natalya's home is also a very relaxing place.

On the day of the wedding, Natalya came to our house and set up to do four up-dos and hair down for my sister. Every single one of my ladies had a great time and came out looking stunning. Natalya also worked some hair flowers my florist had prepared into my junior bridesmaids' hair, which they loved, and she did a beautiful job of putting on my flower girl's flower crown and pulling her hair up in little loops through the middle of the crown. The effect was absolutely charming. Natalya was great with the kids, too, and they had a fabulous time.

I would recommend Natalya completely. She does an absolutely beautiful job, is a delightful person to be around, and has extremely reasonable rates for the DC area. Book her if you can!

~ I should add that my hair stayed put the entire evening... and I did A LOT of twirling at my reception!

She only had a few minutes to do my hair and no time to tweak it. If you are the bride, I recommend having your hair and makeup done first or second to give you time to make adjustments if you need it. First off I must say Natalya was such a sweetheart! A true pleasure to have around on the day. From the get go to the end she was quick to respond and very accommodating. I live out of state for school so she arranged for me to have my trial after business hours at her home studio to accommodate my schedule. She did a great job for both hair and makeup. Natalya is amazing! I was very apprehensive about my makeup because it's obviously a critical portion of the day but I very rarely wear much. Natalya worked with my nerves to strike a perfect balance to make for stunning photos but I still felt like myself. She did my sister's makeup to complement her dress in a way I couldn't have imagined until she had the dress on. She's also incredibly reasonable and traveled to us for the day with a smallish group. Natalya was fantastic! When I went for my trial, I had a vision of what I wanted and she made it happen. I wanted to be able to do 2 hairstyles throughout my wedding day and I wanted fresh flowers in my hair and she took on the task. Fast forward to the wedding day, when she came to the hotel for hair and make up, she brought all the works. Natalya and a couple people she hired got right to work. It didn't matter what hairstyle anyone wanted, they made everyone even more gorgeous. I feel so lucky to have found Natalya. She and her assistant Irena were such a joy to have around on wedding day - there was nothing stressful about the whole thing; they just made me, the moms, and soon to be sisters-in-law look beautiful. Natalya was attentive to what I wanted even before my trial months prior to the wedding. At the trial, she did a beautiful job, but on wedding day - she was mindblowingly magnificent. I had never tried fake lashes before meeting her, and all night people came up to me and complimented my eyelashes (who knew?). For the rest of the makeup, I ended up trying airbrush makeup on the day of after taking her advice when I felt regular foundation was too heavy, and it was just the right amount. In general, all I had to do was show a picture of what I wanted and she just worked her magic and made it happen. It couldn't have been easier and any more of a pleasant experience. The other women all loved her and Irena as well.
They were quick, on schedule, and worth every penny (and reasonably priced!). I'm so glad I had them there on my wedding day.

Natalya is an artist. We had a large wedding party with a bride, 7 bridesmaids, 3 moms, 1 grandma, and a flower girl. Natalya and her team showed up early around 7 am, immediately set up and got to work. In terms of professionalism there is no one better. During the day as more girls took to the seats, Natalya would help direct who goes where. It was certainly hectic, but Natalya kept calm and in control of the whole day. She is cool, clam, and collected even during what appeared to be chaos on the wedding party side. She embodies professionalism. Now..... Onto the quality. There is no on better! We had instances of where girl wanted one hairstyle and Natalya would point out to them why a certain style won't work due to hair length or other factors. She quickly improvised and suggested a beautiful hairstyle that fit their taste and face. While she was working she still managed to direct her assistant who was also amazing. Now to the makeup. Seeing Natalya do makeup, is watching an artist in front of a canvas. She will apply, stand back, observe, tweak, and perfect. Her makeup stayed on for the entire night which I have never seen happen and looked just as great at 2 am as it did 8 hours before.

I cannot recommend her enough. She is a gem, and makes this magic happen at a very reasonable price. I would hire her just for other events now that I have found her.

I was so lucky to have found Natalya to help me with my hair and make-up!!!!! From our first conversation to my trial run to the big day, Natayla was awesome!!!! During my trial, she listened to my thoughts and asked a lot of questions in order to achieve the perfect bridal look for me. My hair is short (above the shoulder bob); however, I really wanted a up-do which I thought would be impossible. Natalya proved me wrong!! Not only did she get my short hair up, she also gave me a variety of options for head/hair pieces. On the day of my wedding, Natalya arrived, as scheduled, to my house with her box of tricks. Naturally, I was pretty nervous, but Natalya put me at ease as she applied my make-up. My face looked flawless!!!!! She moved onto my hair and gave my a fabulous modified up-do. Instead of using a traditional head/hair piece, I gave Natalya some extra flowers from by bouquet which she put into my hair. It looked absolutely AMAZING and I felt like a princess!!!!!!!!

Natalya came to our location to do my make-up for the wedding, in addition to a few of my brides-maids and then added some eye-makeup for my mother. She did a fantastic job on everyone and we were all very pleased with our looks. Also, we each paid separately and she was happy to accept payment in that way. All of these fantastic reasons aside, you should pick Natalya because she was so, so nice and caring when she came. She obviously cares a lot about each person in her chair and making sure the make-up matches their personality, and each girl who got hers done was very appreciative and left feeling very well taken care of. Despite not having met any of us before, or even seen pictures, and having limited time, she designed beautiful looks for everyone that perfectly complimented our features and our personalities. I wish I could give Natalya more than 5 stars. She is everything I was looking for in a hair stylist! From the beginning, I knew she was going to be a good choice. She was responsive, friendly, and accommodating when we were discussing options and details. When I did my trial, I was sold. She did exactly what I asked for (a particular up-do) and was such a joy to work with. Not to mention, her pricing is extremely reasonable! On my wedding day, Natalya and her assistant were on time (maybe even early) and did the hair of 10 girls in about 5 hours, which is impressive. They had a great system too... her assistant would curl hair and then Natalya would style, so every girl had the chance to work with her. We were all so impressed with the finished products!! I booked Natalya for my wedding hair and makeup in July. She did a beautiful job and understood just the look I wanted. She was responsiveness and polite right from the first contact. Natalya is a wonderful stylist and I would highly recommend her. I used her for hair services for my wedding in July and instantly knew that she was a perfect choice for our big day. I showed her a picture of what hair style I wanted for my trial and what she did was even better than the picture. My hair was flawless for the wedding and I got many compliments. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and everyone looked beautiful! Natalya is also very professional and easy to work with. She has a wonderful personality that made me feel calmer the morning of the wedding. If you are looking for beautiful hair and makeup definitely go with Natalya.

Natalya was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had an intimate, relatively small wedding with a small wedding party. She took her time during the trial getting to know me, to get a sense of what I was looking for and what my "vision" was. She also gave a lot of helpful advice and made suggestions as to what she thought would photograph well. When she saw a picture of my dress, she immediately came up with a unique idea for my hair, which was an instant hit at the wedding! Having done my trial and bridal make up and hair, it became abundantly clear that Natalya absolutely loves her work, and it shows in her focus and attention to detail. She definitely takes pride in it and you can tell that making people look beautiful makes her absolutely happy. Hire her, listen to her and let her do her thing. It'll be worth it!

Natalya is truly one of a kind and I'm so thankful that I got the pleasure of working with her. She has a calming quality about her that made me relax and enjoy her work, rather than stressing on the day of my wedding. We had a very tight timeline (bridal hair and makeup, plus hair and makeup for my mom, mom in law, and sis starting at 6 am and finishing by 9:30 am). She and her assistant Irene finished right on time as promised and we had such an enjoyable time too.

Now to the hair: during my trial, I had asked for a braided updo (which was what i thought i wanted) and although she effortlessly made it look as I wanted it, it wasn't me. We talked and she showed me examples of her previous work of brides with long flowing hair and I never thought I could have that look bc I have thin long hair. She reassured me, explaining the brides had extensions and she can do the same for me! On that note, the day of the wedding I brought my extensions and a picture and she once again, delivered. My hair looked natural and thick and I wished I could have her do my hair every day.

The makeup, hands down, was spectacular! She knows her stuff! I didn't have to touch up my makeup (I was in the hot sun for over 2 hours, then partied for 12 hours and only needed to reapply lip gloss twice). Unbelievable! I looked like myself, but stunning! She is truly an artist.

In summary, if you want a hair and makeup artist that you can fully trust and not even have to look in the mirror to know it is perfect, go with Natalya! I will never look for a hair and makeup artist again bc I found the best one! I always wanted to look like the models in the magazine and she made me look like one and feel like one!

Natalya’s personality and her quality of work are a matching pair: absolutely beautiful! To me, her work stands out above the rest because most people in this business either do hair OR makeup well; Natalya excels at BOTH. I hired Natalya’s services for my wedding to create six bridesmaid up-dos as well as my (the bride) hair and makeup. I did a trial with her six months before my wedding in the comfort of her home and had a pleasant experience as we figured out what kind of hair and makeup style I wanted. All was going well leading up to the wedding until about a month before, I started losing a lot of my hair in both patches and throughout my scalp. I was very concerned and contacted Natalya a couple of days before my wedding to let her know what she was in for. She was extremely caring and empathetic, so much that she, in her own effort, brought an assistant to help her prep all of the hairdos on the day of the wedding to give us more time to work on my hair (as well as the rest of the bridal party) at NO extra cost to me. She added some extensions into my hairdo and worked her magic so that it looked like I had a head full of MY beautiful hair (you couldn’t even see the extensions she added). She continued to go above and beyond up until the very last minute when I was ready for her to go—she happily applied false eyelashes for my bridesmaids on the spot (for the small fee she charges which is to be expected), happily touched up any lady’s hair that I asked her to, and even showed my mom how to put in/take out my veil. I will be seeking an opportunity to hire Natalya again, because her exceptional hair and makeup skills, her warm heart, and (did I mention) her very reasonable prices are a true diamond in the DMV area.

Natalya was wonderful to work with and her work was superb. She did a great job at the trial and an even better job at the wedding, which is when I really described to her what I wanted and showed her pictures. Natalya is talented, professional, and flexible. I had trouble deciding how I wanted my hair styled and had two trials - and then, on my wedding day, asked Natalya to switch it up again and set my hair in a different way. She was accommodating and offered suggestions along the way. She also encouraged communication, and I agree that it's essential to verbalize what you like and don't like. Natalya did the hair and makeup of my maid of honor and mother, as well, and she was patient as we figured out (without having had trials) what would work for them. She was punctual and efficient, and her prices are reasonable.

Natalya is a true artist. She did the hair and makeup for my two daughters and me the morning of my daughter’s wedding. She arrived at 7AM as we requested and immediately began in her quiet and professional way to transform us all into beauties, if I do say so myself! The reason she is an artist is that she took all three of us, with different hair, different facial shapes, and different ages and created an appropriate and exquisite look for each one of our individual needs. Natalya worked quickly and efficiently and my flawless eye makeup lasted two days! She travels to your location and made the whole process fun and stress-less.

Natalya is a true artist! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding (as well as my mothers and mother in laws hair/makeup, and my sisters' hair). We all were thrilled! She has an amazing talent to see you for who you are and design a hairstyle that fits exactly who you are. Same with the makeup - she makes you into the most beautiful version of yourself. I was absolutely thrilled with how I looked on my wedding day and even more thrilled that the hairstyle stayed put through all of the dancing, and my makeup stayed put through crying! I was so thrilled to have Natalya as my hair stylist and makeup artist. Working with her was a pleasure, as she really took the time to understand my vision and give her professional feedback, in addition to being kind and helpful. I have extremely curly hair, and was worried about finding someone who would be able to work with it in its natural state. Natalya Chepura is undoubtedly the most skilled, kind, talented, and amazing makeup artist and hair stylist I've ever come across in my entire life. After having a storybook wedding with 200+ guests, I am still being asked for Natalya's information in hopes that they can hire her for their events. Natalya's work was beyond perfect. She was such a breeze to work with, very responsive and very professional. The day of because of the timing of my wedding and how many people needed to get their hair done (6 bridesmaids hair, 2 makeup, my hair and makeup, two mother of the brides and then an add on grandmother) she brought two assistants who were equally as lovely to deal with and professional. My family and bridesmaids loved all three of them.

She listened to each of my bridesmaids about what they wanted and all of them came out looking so beautiful! There was a list minute hitch where my poor grandmothers hair had come undone the night before and without hesitation Natalya added her on. My grandmother was so happy and looked so beautiful.

All of our hair stayed in perfectly. Not one curl fell or strand came undone. The best was I didn't even feel like my hair had a million bobby pins in it. It was so comfortable and easy. Her prices are also extremely affordable. I was so pleased with her work I want to find more excuses for her to come and do my hair. Thank you for making my day so calm and making us all feel so beautiful!

My hair and my bridesmaids hair were picture perfect! Everyone loved their hair style. For the most part they stayed in place even with a lot of dancing! I
received many compliments on my hair and how beautiful the back looked. The detail in the design of the back of my hair was outstanding. I highly recommend Natalya as a hair stylist. I found her name on line and read the reviews and decided to contact her. I also looked at her website and was very impressed with all the great reviews and the pictures posted. I was very pleased with her manner and her calmness. Calmness is what is needed during wedding events since everyone around is flustered and there are a million and one things going on. I did not do a trial with her. I was very impressed with her ability to listen to what we wanted and to do it just right. She got what we wanted which was not a highly made-up look but one that would look good in photographs.
All in all Natalya is a very nice person to work with, very calm, and gets what a person wants and is able to execute it. Very very professional.

At a "style trial" for my daughter, the bride-to-be, I watched her long, cascading curls being magically transformed by Natalya into a stunning up-do. Immediately, I knew I wanted Natalya to style my hair for the wedding. Hired! With great anticipation on the special day, I sat in a chair while Natalya took the time to study the shape of my face. Then, thoughtfully and patiently, using a comb the way an artist skillfully uses a paintbrush, Natalya began. Finally, with every hairpin anchored in place, I was handed a mirror. My hair was exquisite and I felt like Hollywood royalty. Highly recommended!

Natalya did an excellent job doing hair and makeup for my wedding. She created beautiful hairdos for myself, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride/groom. At the trial hair and makeup, after showing her one or two pictures of styles that I liked, Natalya was able to create an amazing up do with my curly hair. She did an even better job on the actual day of the wedding. My hairstyle was elegant, sophisticated, and exactly what I wanted. The makeup was also gorgeous. My skin looked absolutely flawless. All of the girls were very satisfied with Natalya's work. She was very professional and charged extremely fair prices for both hair and makeup. She even came to the location of the wedding for a very reasonable travel fee. She was very flexible and was willing to help each individual create the look she wanted. I would highly recommend Natalya for anyone looking for bridal hair and makeup. She is an extremely talented artist. You won't find anyone better!

I could not have picked a better make up artist to do my wedding makeup. Natalya is very professional. She listens and her prices are excellent! My makeup stayed all day. No touch up was needed. One of my bridesmaid even said that her makeup was better than her own wedding! =)

I hired Natalya to do the hair and makeup for myself (bride), my mother, mother-in-law, and my matron of honor. Natalya is wonderful to work with, she was reliable, punctual, and no other salons I've found in the area can beat her prices and quality of work.

Natalya works wonders with her artistic brilliance. Three days before my wedding, I had my eyebrows waxed (by a different provider, not Natalya) and unfortunately I suffered from a burn on my right eyebrow. The burn ended scabbing by my wedding day but Natalya was able to cover up the burn and blend the makeup so that nobody can tell the burn was even there. I just received the proofs of my wedding photos and my make up and hair look flawless. I've never felt more beautiful as I did on my wedding day.

Natalya is also incredibly kind and gentle to work with. For example, my mother was very reluctant to get her hair and make up done since she is fairly low maintenance and doesn't like putting on make up. However, Natalya was so sweet with her and she was able to build rapport with my mom so she ultimately ended up getting both services done for the wedding, which in turn gave my mom more confidence when taking the pictures and being on the spotlight for the wedding festivities.

I highly, highly recommend Natalya for your special day. She is amazing. You won't regret it!

Natalya was more I could hope for and beyond no my wedding day last week. She was always prompt with keeping in touch with me prior to the big day and a big help with preparing me for what was to come. Speaking with her for the first time put me at ease that I had put me and my wedding party in good hands and she did not disappoint. She was extremely professional from being exactly on time to setting a schedual for us all which worked out perfectly. One by one she and her assistant took each of my friends and family and step by step started transforming them to where it looked like they stepped foot out of a movie. The detail and the individual touches she put on everyone accentuated their natural beauty but also highlighted their unique features. No two styles or looks were the same or repetitive which allowed everyone to be themselves in an outstanding way. And then it came down to my turn!!! The look on my now husband's face when i turned the corner, is one that I am sure I will never forget, and I can assure you that is mostly due to the amazing job Natalya did with my appearance. It was almost effortless with her techniques to take me and time-warp me to the old Hollywood days of glitz and glamor, all while never making me unrecognizable. She allowed me to express my ideas and vocalize any concerns and took everything in stride all while giving advice that I listened to, all making the outcome amazing. I would recommend her to anyone who has a day coming up that is special to them where they want to look and feel their best. From her sweet personality to her impeccable attention to detail, there is no way you can go wrong with Natalya!!!! She's just great:))))

We worked with Natalya as our make-up artist and hairstylist on our wedding day, and could not have been more delighted with what she did and how she did it!

‎We did a trial run with her several weeks before our big day, for both make-up and hair, which gave me the opportunity to see how she works and what she was proposing to do. Not all the make-up that she tried worked for me, having a light Asian skin, but Natalya quickly adjusted to my feedback and preferences on that day.

I found Natalya not only a real sweetheart, and a true and very creative artist with both hair and make-up, she is very patient, and has the ability to closely listen to what you prefer, and go with that. She is there to please and delight you, not to impose what she wants for you. I found this to be very pleasant and re-assuring.

On the day itself, she not only took care of me, but also my ‎two teenage stepdaughters and my godmother, all of whom were also very pleased with the result. She was punctual and planned well during the day. As for me, I was extremely pleased with the results, and my groom was over the top impressed with my hair and make-up too!

I would unreservedly recommend Natalya to any bride-to-be and know that they will be as pleased as I was.

My bridesmaids and I used Natalya for wedding hair. I went to her home for the trial three months before my event, which wasn't convenient for me, but since I live on the West Coast and was in the area for the weekend, it was what worked. Although I was very wishy washy about what I wanted and we did not come up with a solid plan at the trial, I was confident that she could work with my hair once I figured out what I wanted to do... up vs. down, pulled up high vs tucked down low, etc. I showed her a picture on Pinterest and although I didn't find it to be flattering on me in the end, she did exactly what I showed her. In fact, hers looked even better and was amazing in the back and from the side. I just did not think that it flattered my face. So I went into my wedding day STILL not knowing exactly what I wanted. She showed up on time to my hotel and did three of my bridesmaids before me. They all had something different done (some up, some down) and looked terrific. I sat down and showed her a few other pics on Pinterest and told her that I thought I needed more volume on top, but still wasn't sure about up, down, 1/2 up. She looked at my dress and did a perfect updo. It was beautiful from the back and sides and she added a subtle bump at the top to give me the volume that I thought more flattering for my face. Natalya is very reasonably priced, professional, and a master at hair whether you know what you want or not. GIve her a call with confidence.

She has amazing artistic vision, and with her help I think my hair and makeup looked exactly how I wanted - different than my day to day and very elegant but it still looked like me. If you hire Natalya, she will work to exceed expectations!

I would absolutely recommend Natalya. I reached out to Natalya because of the pictures of her work on her website, and her extremely reasonable prices. Natalya responded promptly via phone call and we arranged a time for a trial in her home. She quickly made me feel comfortable and welcome, and did a consultation with me to determine what my vision was and how much hair/makeup I normally wear, so that she could do work that I was comfortable with. After the trial, I put a minimal deposit down to secure her for my wedding day. On the week of the wedding, she was very flexible with a change of location. On the wedding day, she came early to set up, and she and her associate did hair for 5 bridesmaids, makeup for a bridesmaid and the mother of the bride, and bridal hair and makeup. The process was very individualized for each person, so that each hair style and makeup was different and worked well for that individual. They were very organized, worked well as a team, and were able to finish exactly on schedule. The work was absolutely beautiful; everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. Natalya even loaned me sparkly hair pins to complete the look. Everyone looked beautiful and confident in photos. Natalya is so sweet and was a highlight of the day. She was an encouraging and calming presence on my wedding day.

Even more importantly (to me, at least!), she listened to my concerns about my acne-prone skin, and even met with me to do a second trial so we could try a new foundation. She gave me her opinions and her advice, but was very accommodating with the products that I researched and chose! On the day of, she was on time and flexible, and did a GORGEOUS job on my makeup. She even let me keep her lipstick palette for the day when I said I was worried about my lipstick fading throughout the day. (It didn't!) Thank you so much, Natalya!

Natalya was so wonderful to work with! She was extremely accommodating when coordinating my trial (did my trial the same day she was moving houses !!) and was ready to go in my hotel room at 7AM on the wedding day. Natalya was also willing to adjust my preferences for hair and make-up on the fly the morning of my wedding. One of the things that I liked most about Natalya was that she incorporated flowers into my hair (again, on the fly), and it looked absolutely incredible! My bridesmaids also provided sample photos of their up-dos that morning, and Natalya was able to quickly execute and made their hair look better than the photos! After contacting multiple potential hair/make-up artists, I decided to move forward with Natalya because: 1) she was willing to travel to me the morning of the wedding, 2) fantastic value for money, 3) she was extremely communicative throughout the process, and 4) of course, her portfolio of work on her website was incredible!

Natalya was really wonderful! She and her assistant kept us on schedule day of and the whole wedding party was happy with the way they looked. I really felt she listened to me when I asked for something simple and classic - though it is clear she has range to do a variety of wonderful looks. Would definitely recommend.

Natalya did the make up and hair for my 4 bridesmaids, 3 relatives, and me (the bride). The main reason I chose Natalya was that her prices are very reasonable, but was overjoyed that she also has a great work ethic. The day of the wedding, she showed up on time with an assistant and literally did not stop working for 6 hours straight. All of the bridesmaids turned out beautiful, and their makeup and hair stood the test of time, and still looked beautiful after midnight when the party ended. She has a very calm demeanor as well, which is welcomed during the chaos of the day-of.

Natalya did makeup for me, four bridesmaids, and my mom. She did a wonderful job! I got several compliments on it, and it stayed until the very end of the night. My only complaint is that I had insisted on no fake eyelashes for anyone in the party, and after she tried to convince me otherwise several times, she promised she wouldn't bring it up again. On the day of the wedding, though, she ended up applying them to several folks in my party. It wasn't something I was going to get upset about on my wedding day, but I had been clear on this point. Given her quality of work and that what she charges is very reasonable for the DC area, I'd hire her again/recommend her to others.

EDIT (2/22/18): To clarify, Natalya did not charge the typical $25/person for the lashes she applied.

Wedding party - Washington DC

From start to finish, Natalya's team was incredibly professional and attentive. They listened to the requests from each individual bridesmaid, and made adjustments as necessary. You can tell that Natalya has so much pride in her work, as she goes above and beyond expectations. Natalya even brought extra hair pieces for the bride, which matched the dress perfectly, without being prompted to do so. Loved working with the team, and would highly recommend.
