Nassau Inn Wedding
We had the most incredible wedding at the Nassau Inn. Our coordinators Jaime and Tara were organized and fun to work with. The staff the day of went above and beyond. The food was great and ballroom was beautiful— very warm and intimate vibe.
The hotel itself is so charming and it was convenient to be able to go back to rooms after the reception. Our guests also loved the town of Princeton, there was so much for them to do.
It was a truly an amazing experience for us and all of our friends and family, I can’t recommend the Nassau Inn enough.Nassau Inn's reply:
Thank you, Dasha! We’re so happy your wedding was everything you envisioned. Jaime, Tara, and our entire team loved being part of your special day, and we’re thrilled your guests enjoyed both the Inn and Princeton. Congratulations again! -

The Best Wedding Venue!
We absolutely adored having our wedding at the Nassau Inn! We are about a month away from our wedding day and after reminiscing about the magical day with friends and family, there was a common thread in what everyone said: everyone that worked at the Nassau Inn was so nice and accommodating. The staff at the Nassau Inn was a dream to work with. They seemed just as excited about our wedding day as our guests did, and that made for such an amazing experience with them. Lahtia Spivey was our Sales Coordinator and Day-Of Coordinator and she was amazing. Her attention to detail and thoroughness led to a remarkably executed and seamless day. She was there for us every step of the way and was such a kind person to work with. It was also an amazing experience to almost “take over” the whole Inn for the wedding. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party were all held in different spaces within the Inn, and it was fun for our guests to see so much of it throughout the night. We also had spring showers the day of our wedding, and the Lahtia was able to easily pivot us to an indoor space within the Nassau Inn for the ceremony. Overall, the whole event team at the Nassau Inn was wonderful to work with - we cannot recommend them as a venue enough! -

Historic Charm
We had our dream wedding at the Nassau Inn! I love historic buildings and this was perfect, right in Palmer Square. The food was excellent and having the hotel attached was perfect for guests and getting ready the morning of. We also held the rehearsal dinner there. -

Great location, cozy venue, amazing team!
We were interested in the Inn initially because we were getting married on campus and wanted a reception somewhere easy for our guests to get to — and it was totally the right choice! We had about 75 guests and held the cocktail hour in Lobby 2, dinner in the Palmer room, and dancing in the John Witherspoon. The space was perfect and our guests loved all the places to hang out during the night. We worked most closely with Jaime and she was so easy to communicate with and patient with us when we bumbled through the details. Day of (and our tasting) was headed by Roger and he was also totally awesome and was so on top of everything — was easy to trust him with last minute details!! We honestly didn’t have to lift a finger — everything was set up beautifully and taken down seamlessly. Received so many compliments on the food and it was convenient to have cake included in our package (we went with Sweet Gourmet and guests raved about her lemon cake). All in all a huge success and we were so happy we went with the Inn! (Photos by Lee Smathers)-

Roger and Team Were AMAZING!
Roger and the rest of the Nassau Inn team blew us away for our wedding of ~160 guests. Roger, our main venue coordinator, was flexible, attentive, and quick to respond. On the day of our wedding, Roger and Brittany, our maitre'd, ensured that our day went flawless. We feel very grateful to have had their support throughout the process.
The venue itself delivered throughout the weekend. Guests loved gathering in the Yankee Doodle Taproom, and the ballroom for our reception and Senior Room for our cocktail hour required no us because they were already perfect for our wedding. The food was awesome, and we really enjoyed our tasting with family members before the big day.
We would 10/10 recommend the Nassau Inn, and especially Roger and Brittany. Thank you for making the planning and our special day perfect. -

Amazing Venue in a Great Location
We were drawn to the Nassau Inn to host our reception because it was close to the church where we held our ceremony and to the center of town. The Banquet and Event Staff - Michelle and Kadie - were fantastic, professional, and responsive, making as many changes and additions as we needed up until the big day. Everything was set up beautifully - including moving around florals and other decor for different wedding events. We didn't need to lift a finger. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch and they made us feel truly special! I'd definitely recommend this beautiful location for your reception.-

The Perfect Venue for a Cozy Wedding
My husband and I chose Nassau Inn for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and post-wedding breakfast. Why? Because it is the perfect venue for everything. A charming historical Inn with great decor, in the absolutely beautiful town of Princeton, the Nassau Inn made our wedding dreams come true. The Yankee Doodle Taproom also made the perfect place for the afterparty! The wedding packages offered include a delicious array of food options (at much better prices than what we found elsewhere!), and Jaime Wolf and her team took care of all the little details that would have driven us crazy. They were fantastic, answering all our wedding questions and fielding last-minute requests, and took a ton off our worry list. Nassau Inn has an experienced team, and knows how to add the special touches which made our wedding even better than planned. We could not recommend more highly.Nassau Inn's reply:
Joanna!! Thank you so much for your review. :) I am so happy for you both, and that your day went so well! Downtown Princeton really is a special place, so great for photos and so much for your guests to do and see in town. Wishing you both may years of happiness together!
Sincerely- Jaime W. -

Jaime and the Nassau Inn staff crushed it!
Working with Jaime at the Nassau Inn was one of the easiest experiences of our wedding planning. She was incredibly flexible with us and quick to respond on all of our questions. The staff were attentive and the food was great! The combination of the venue's staff working with our coordinator over at Magnolia West Events are truly a dream team and helped make our wedding magical and memorable.Nassau Inn's reply:
Kevin,
Thank you for your lovely review! We were so honored to help plan your special day, along with Danielle from Magnolia West. We have to say, she does an amazing job, and we are always so happy to work with her. We would love to see pictures from your wedding if you have them, and we wish you both the best! :)

Best. Day. Ever!
Where do I begin?! We got married on 12/13/2019. From start to finish, our experience at Nassau Inn was amazing. Melissa is such a great person inside and out, and her staff is equally as fantastic. We had about 1 year 1/2 engagement, and everyone we were in contact with throughout the process was always professional and accomodating. As for the wedding day itself, everything went on without a hitch and was PERFECT. Food was delicious, the ambiance was spectacular, not a single complaint from anyone! Amongst all the stress, it can be difficult to imagine what the day will be like when it finally arrives. Melissa and everyone at Nassau Inn exceeded our expectations and vision - on a level we didn't even know was possible! We 100000% recommend the Nassau Inn to every couple looking for a truly wonderful wedding experience! -

Fantastic and gorgeous venue with everything you need!
We were married at the Nassau Inn on November 10th, and can't thank them enough for such a beautiful celebration! From day one of the process, Melissa Dill and all of the staff we encountered at the Nassau Inn were professional, kind, and easy to work with. We moved from NY to CA during the planning process and Melissa always made herself available to speak on the phone or e-mail. We loved the Inn's convenient location to NYC and Philadelphia, and many of our guests chose to stay there. We also loved that they had amazing catering services in house.
We held our ceremony in the beautiful courtyard. Our cocktail hour was held in the original lobby of the Inn, a gorgeous space with a baby grand piano and red leather couches. The ballroom looked so elegant for our reception, and many guests commented on how delicious the food was.
We felt totally relaxed day of because we knew everything was in Melissa's capable hands. Her experience and creativity helped us throughout the process, and she was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend the Nassau Inn for an exceptional experience! -

Get married here! Absolute perfection!
We got married at the Nassau Inn three weeks ago and it was literally the most amazing day ever! We fell in love with the Inn the second we saw it. It was quaint, right in the heart of Princeton, so different than the typical NJ venue and honestly, it just felt special. We met with Melissa Dill, their wedding coordinator and felt a connection right away. She understood our vision for the day and we felt confident that she could make it all happen. We wanted a date about 7-8 months out and she was flexible in giving us options and helped to make the planning feel easy.
We loved that it was all in one place. We stayed there for the weekend (had our rehearsal dinner in town), got ready in the suite the morning of with our bridal party (super spacious and made for great pics), went to St. Paul's Catholic Church down the street to get married, took pictures around town and the campus and got back in time for cocktail hour (which had indoor and outdoor space which was very cool).
Melissa had set up the room better than I had imagined. We had 140 guests so it felt full but never crowded. Cocktail hour was easy to navigate, get drinks and mingle with friends and family. Melissa greeted our guests and even offered to take thier cards so they didn't have to hold them while they ate (multiple people mentioned that they loved this little touch)!
When we went upstairs for dinner and dancing, everything continued to be flawless. Melissa and her team were in lockstep with my DJ so everything went off perfectly. The first and second courses were served immediately following speeches, which allowed for optimal time on the dance floor! Main course was pre-selected via the RSVP so the servers just confirmed orders versus taking them (was nervous about this at first but was also flawlessly executed). All the food was delicious (personal recommendation would be the risotto cake and short rib).
We ended the night surprising our guests with the pork roll egg and cheese package (which got rave reviews) and a sparkler send off on the patio. We then headed to the Yankee Doodle Tap Room (bar also right in the Nassau Inn), which allowed the party to keep going and people could leave whenever they wanted to go upstairs to their room.
We also paid for a private breakfast the morning after which was... perfect! They re-purposed all of our flowers as centerpieces, the food was delicious and it was a great time to talk about the night and see everyone before they headed out!
Literally 5 stars across the board. I cannot thank everyone at the Nassau Inn enough. A special thank you to Melissa but also, THANK YOU to each server, bartender, front desk staff member and Jean Claude, concierge, you are all amazing!Nassau Inn's reply:
Heather!
Thank you so much for this AMAZING review!! Adam and you were a delight to work with and the instant connection was mutual! The love you have for each other, your family and friends is infectious and a true testament to a lasting marriage for a beautiful couple. We were all honored to be part of your wedding weekend and wish you an eternity of happiness!
All the best,
Melissa -

We held our entire wedding weekend at Nassau Inn and could not have asked for anything more!
We had our pre-wedding "meet and greet", wedding ceremony, reception and post-wedding brunch at Nassau Inn, and every event was exactly as I had hoped it would be! Jaime at Nassau Inn (as well as everyone else on staff, especially Melissa and Christine) was wonderful to work with! Even though it's a hotel, I felt we were able to personalize our wedding and make it unique. The food at all events was delicious and earned praise from all our guests. Most of our out-of-town guests stayed at Nassau Inn and were equally impressed with the hotel service during their stays. Jaime accommodated all our special wedding day and brunch requests and always communicated quickly and clearly. In addition, all of Nassau Inn's recommended vendors that we ended up using were reliable and a pleasure to work with. Even my husband who is quite critical gave Jaime and the whole team at Nassau Inn the highest marks!Nassau Inn's reply:
Adi,
Thank you so much for this lovely review! We were so honored to take care of you and your wonderful family on your wedding day. The amount of joy and love in the room was incredible. Everything was just beautiful. I wish you both a long blissful life of happiness, you truly make the "perfect" couple!!

Great Rehearsal Dinner Venue
The Nassau Inn served as a great venue for our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch, and the primary wedding hotel block for our guests. We highly recommend it for these functions. Melissa Dill did a great job communicating with us about the rehearsal dinner and brunch, and was very accommodating with our requests. Stephanie Nichols was excellent at putting together our wedding hotel block, and was very responsive. We really appreciated how convenient it was for our guests to be able to easily walk around downtown Princeton and to our wedding. -

Perfect Wedding Reception Venue!
We hosted our wedding reception at the Nassau inn last December and 100+ of our guests stayed at the Inn. The venue itself was a perfect setting; quant, charming, and picturesque, especially with all the holiday decorations setup in Palmer Square. Melissa served as our venue event coordinator, and was in constant contact with us throughout the process. Melissa excludes enthusiasm and her tenure with the Inn has made her an expert at coordinating events within the spaces that the inn has to offer. We had so much fun ironing the details of our wedding weekend with her. Aside from the reception, Melissa also helped us facilitate a Friday night welcome party in the tap room, and a post wedding brunch - if we asked, she made it happen. During the events, Nicole and the event team catered to us and our guests consistently to make sure everyone had what they needed. Everything ran on time, and was setup perfectly, just as it was originally relayed to us. Jaime and Stephanie were our point people in rooms blocks, and in accommodating our family and friends comfortably at the inn. They were both so easy to work with, and were so responsive. Given that the inn is the only hotel in town, we were pleased to be able to have nearly all of our out of town guests accommodated at the hotel. We were so well cared for the entire weekend, as were our guests; from the bellhop, to the front desk personnel to the servers, the entire staff was so lovely and outstanding. We love the Nassau inn and plan to celebrate our anniversaries there in the future! -

Amazing Wedding and Wedding Planning Experience with Nassau Inn
We scheduled 6 venue visits in one day in Mercer County, NJ (Princeton and the surrounding towns). At the time, we were on the fence about having a big wedding or something more intimate. Nassau Inn immediately stood out for its location and convenience. Guests would have all of downtown Princeton and the university in walking distance which was important for the many people we had arrive by train from NYC. We also loved how guests would be able to go from their hotel rooms, to the ceremony, to the reception, to bed without leaving the building. My whole family also clicked pretty quickly with Melissa, their event manager.
Despite this, we remained undecided for several months on what to do. Throughout that time, none of the other venues that we toured follow up with me via phone/email. Melissa continued to check in to see what support she could provide. It made me feel like our business was valued and that we would be taken care of throughout the process which definitely came to fruition. Thanks to Melissa’s follow ups, the Nassau Inn stayed in our heads and we ultimately decided to have about a 60 person wedding in their Palmer room (the upstairs, smaller area). We loved the character of the cocktail space with a large fireplace, wood beams and their iconic red door. I must admit, I was a little reluctant about the packages to start and the cookie cutter décor. Inundated with Pinterest wedding images, it seems like every detail needed to be the perfect custom representation of our us and our wedding theme. I am so glad that I didn’t let this influence my decision. I can’t imagine how overwhelming it would have been to pick every single detail. The Nassau Inn was able to provide a foundation that was time tested and proven to work that we could build off of and spend our energy on the things that were most important to us.
Throughout the planning process, Melissa was always available to answer all of our questions. We went with many of the vendors on their recommendation and were grateful for the relationships they already had with the Nassau Inn. This made finding the few vendors we needed (flowers, DJ, hair and make up, photographer, cake) much more stress free. We worked closely with the front desk as well on our room block and they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The tasting was a great opportunity to talk through the whole event with Melissa and pick the menu. We were really excited about the options the featured local vendors such as the cheese plate from Olsson’s and the volume and quality of what was included in the packages. I should add that by the time we finally decided to have our wedding at the Nassau Inn, we had about 6 months to plan this before the date we selected! This was definitely a reasonable amount of time given the supports that the Nassau Inn has in place.
The wedding itself was absolutely perfect! The care and attention the entire Nassau Inn staff put into our event was unbelievable. A tiny example that demonstrates this is that we had provided framed photos to serve as décor. During the cocktail hour, the staff had set this up on the sills under the window but once the reception started, I noticed they moved these to the now empty table where the name cards had been and lit candles around them. It was such a small detail that they definitely didn’t have to do or weren’t told to do but did have enough of an impact for me (and my mom) to notice. Overall the day ran incredibly smooth and every guest had a fantastic time. Many of my extended family who can be quite critical said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My now mother in law said it was completely perfect. I think this is because the ambiance of the Nassau Inn made the wedding feel so special and intimate and the service was top notch. I am most sad that the wedding is over because I don’t have a reason to talk to Melissa anymore. I couldn’t recommend the Nassau Inn more for any couple. You will save yourself time, stress, money and end up with an amazing event.

My husband and I cannot thank the team at Nassau Inn enough for the beautiful wedding we had!
We knew we wanted to get married in Princeton, and Nassau Inn’s location was perfect, right in the middle of downtown Princeton. The venue itself is lovely, and our guests loved its class and charm.
We also wanted a place with top-notch food, and Nassau Inn did not disappoint. Our guests still rave about the food, two months later.
Service was excellent. The staff was so accommodating with one-off requests and went above and beyond expectations, which was deeply appreciated!
As far as planning went, the team made it as easy as could be, which was an extra plus, since I was wedding planning long-distance while in grad school. We worked with Jamie Wolf during the bulk of the planning process and with Melissa Dill on the day-of. Both were such a pleasure to work with!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Jamie, Melissa, and the rest of the team at Nassau Inn! -

We had our reception and post-wedding brunch at the The Nassau Inn, and their team did a fantastic job making sure we were taken care of from the time we first contacted them through the end of our event. Melissa Dill and her team are true professionals! It was a true fairytale wedding from the ceremony on the back outdoor terrace to the reception in the Prince William ballroom! The accommodations were amazing as well for our guests to stay overnight!! My guests can't stop talking about how amazing all the food was! The service was phenomenal from Melissa to Natasha and all the bartenders and waiters and waitresses! We can not thank you enough for making our vision truly come to life! Go see the Inn! We got married on 6/9/17. The wedding was perfect from start to finish. Melissa Dill worked with us for over a year to make sure everything went smoothly and was easy to coordinate. We got married on the Terrace, had cocktail hour in the Senior Room, and had the reception in the Ballroom. The food was amazing, the staff was absolutely amazing, and all of our guests complimented us throughout. We had a breakfast there the morning after and the food and service was absolutely amazing. The venue is in a great location for the guests. There are tons of restaurants and attractions for people staying there. The rooms in the Inn are very nice. The vendors they recommended were great. All in all, the wedding was perfect and I can't thank them enough for making our special day so perfect and memorable. -

I am so happy that I chose the Nassau Inn for my venue for my January wedding. I was looking for a romantic, elegant feel for my winter wedding and the Nassau Inn delivered. Jaime was so helpful during the whole process. She responded to all my emails in a timely manner, even months before the reception. Scheduling the tasting was easy and a great experience (and the food was delicious!). My entire vision for the event, down to the tablecloths, was communicated and Jaime and the others delivered perfectly. The discount for winter & non-Saturday weddings made it a great deal. The Nassau Inn coordinates parking in the local garages so guests don't have to figure out anything. It was very easy to add a coat check or anything else you may need for the day. We also organized a breakfast the next day for our wedding VIPs and everything went so smooth. We dropped off all of our decorations, favors, guestbook etc a few days before and it was all set up exactly how we wanted. The whole day was coordinated so the DJ, florist and photo/video knew where to go and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend the Nassau Inn if you are looking for an elegant and romantic venue in a downtown atmosphere. -

The staff were so incredibly helpful and patient. They answered all of my questions and were very flexible no matter what obstacle I threw at them. The venue was beautiful, the rooms at the inn were really nice, and they made my wedding day stress-free. I didn't have to worry about a thing because they were on top of things before I could even think of it.
All of my guests enjoyed themselves and Nassau Inn was a perfect ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception location. And my guests loved the Taproom! -

Our wedding at the Nassau Inn was absolutely fantastic. Our guests loved that the entire event was in the same location - the ceremony, reception, after party, accommodations, and morning after brunch were all in the same place - right there in beautiful, historic downtown Princeton. We got married outside, and strangers along the street literally lined up to watch me walk down the aisle and cheer. Melissa and Jamie were fantastic - extremely responsive and accommodating. They paid careful attention to all our requests and were willing to work with us to make our night perfect. I cannot think of one thing I would have done differently. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at the Nassau Inn! -

Working with the Nassau Inn was absolutely incredible. I think the best way to describe the team here is that they are true event professionals - from the sales/contracting process to the planning to the execution, the team has done and seen it all and knows exactly how to make your wedding flawless. I am very organized and type A, and each time I asked them a question, they were two steps ahead of me. On the day of the wedding, my mom and I were worried about nothing because we knew the staff had it all covered. We worked with Jaime Wolf throughout the planning process and Melissa Dill was our day-of coordinator. Both of them are fun and warm but know how to get stuff done, which I totally appreciate. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the Inn, which made it super simple. An added bonus is that most of our guests stayed at the hotel, so the venue felt like a hive of activity all weekend. We have received nothing but wonderful feedback about the wedding, and I know it was in large parts due to the level of organization and experience of this team. Thank you for everything!! -

We just had our gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception at the Nassau Inn of Princeton. I had VERY specific requests and they made them all happen flawlessly. The food was delicious, the service was the best I've ever seen and the rooms were decorated 100% the way I envisioned them! The ceremony room was like a fairy tale! Thank you so much for truly caring for your brides :)

The Nassau Inn is an incredibly conveniently located venue with tons of historical charm and elegance! We had a wonderful experience with our June wedding at the Nassau Inn! Planning was seamless and easy and working with Jaime was an absolute pleasure. Both the ceremony and reception went flawlessly and the food was great! We had our ceremony outside on the terrace, and our reception in the Prince William Ballroom. We had our cocktail hour on the 2nd floor lounge, which is has a very historic / charming feel to it. Additionally, it was so convenient for all of our guests as most of them stayed at the Nassau Inn. It was great having everything in one place. The Nassau Inn is in within walking distance from the Princeton train station. It was also just so much less stressful having everything in one place to not have to deal with rentals, outside caterers, etc. -

We hosted a wedding ceremony and reception for about 100 people at the Nassau Inn on Valentine's Day. The entire experience was perfect. The event was absolutely perfect - service, food, décor were perfect - every detail that we had specified was taken care of, and the food, service and setting were outstanding. Our interaction with the Nassau Inn staff was also perfect; everyone we dealt with on the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs and requests. We have hosted two other wedding events in the past 2 years, and the Nassau Inn was by far the easiest and most enjoyable for ourselves and our guests. I wish we had more events to plan in the future!

Our wedding was our picture perfect wedding. The Nassau Inn is historical & stunning, which is why we initially chose it as our winter wedding venue. Once we started planning, we fell in love with the STAFF. They didn't miss a beat, and were super flexible with some of our "special requests". We used them for our rehearsal dinner, reception & as our hotel. Everything was done seamlessly and I never stressed about too much, because Marianne & Jamie were always there to ensure me that all was going as planned. I cannot say enough positive things about The Nassau Inn. We can't wait to spend a weekend back in the summer!Nassau Inn's reply:

Nassau Inn is just a perfect location & was so beautiful for all of our pictures- we were a little unique and had a brunch wedding in the Palmer room & lobby 2 of the Inn. Our family and friends absolutely loved the room & outdoor patio, and the food was awesome. Who doesn't love omelet stations?? Jerry, our catering manager was awesome as well, always was there when I needed him, and decorated our ceremony in the Senior room with beautiful candles all over the fireplace- it was stunning. Much more affordable that I originally would think the Nassau inn in Princeton would be too! TY Nassau Inn! -

There aren’t enough words to praise the Nassau Inn!
Our wedding was all we could dream of and more.We knew we wanted a location between NYC and Philly, with historic charm, places to stay nearby, great photo opportunities, and of course great food! We saw the Nassau Inn and fell in love. We chose the Palmer Room for it’s more intimate feel, allowing us to celebrate with just our nearest & dearest (about 80 people), & it was just what we were going for. The bonus was getting the lobby space up there as well as use of the patio right in front of the Inn’s iconic red door. The food is stellar (as is the cake they get through their affiliated baker), & the staff is fantastic. We worked with Marianne & right from the beginning we knew it would be a great experience. She was responsive & patient with all our questions (even the weird ones), always made sure we will comfortable with the planning process and willing to help in any way possible. Marianne also helped us so much with ideas for little personal touches we wanted to incorporate but weren’t sure how. Marianne became not just our catering manager, but a friend. Jaime helped us with our room block and was wonderful as well! She made sure we understood the room policies, accommodated some strange family concerns, & we had beautiful suite for the night of the wedding (and as the bridal suite the morning of). As mentioned, the food is great! Unlike many couples we actually got to enjoy our meals. The whole catering staff that night was fantastic. We got to enjoy our food and our reception because we knew there was nothing else for us to worry about: it had all been taken care of. None of our guests had a single complaint the whole evening! In fact they said it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to, and one family member even admitted we may have set a bar. We didn’t set out to, all we wanted was to have a wedding that was uniquely us, & that’s exactly what we got – all thanks to the Nassau Inn & its staff. -

We LOVED having our wedding at the Nassau Inn. The setting itself created ambiance as it was right in the center of town. We worked with Keir and Jamie for our hotel rooms and both were very helpful and friendly.
We dropped off a ton of things from the escort cards to table numbers and favors and everything was set up exactly as we wanted. We had a short time in between photos and going to the reception and Keir had them bring up drinks and a plate of hors d'evours to our room which was great because we were starving. Our complimentary bridal suite was very nice.
We ended up with 150 people and it fit the room perfectly for seating and the dance floor. -

We had our reception at the Nassau Inn, and it was absolutely beautiful and perfect. I worked primarily with Marianne Bilski, and she could not have been more helpful and fun to work with. She was incredibly responsive to emails, and really helped us personalize our event.
The venue itself is beautiful. The ballroom was recently renovated, and is gorgeous. Marianne and her team did a fabulous job working with our florist and band to set the room up, and we literally did not have to do a thing :)
We had someone on site the entire night to take care of any needs or issues (which there were incredibly few), and the night could not have gone more smoothly. The food was delicious, the timing of the night was flawless, and I would not hesitate to hold another event at the Nassau Inn. -

I had my reception at the Nassau Inn. It was a great choice, and I'm very happy I chose them. Keir, Jerry, and Jaime were a wonderful team to work with. From the first meeting to the end of our reception, they offered exceptional service. I was overall very pleased with the value--our reasonably priced package came with a one night stay in a bridal suite, 8 choices of passed hors d'oeuvres for the cocktail hour, a five course dinner, wedding cake from one of the top bakers in the region (Chez Alice), AND most importantly, open bar! All the staff were extremely professional and courteous and were responsive and flexible, especially since I made a lot of last minute changes to the room block and wanted to incorporate some unique details into our reception, like a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and a slide show to accompany my first dance. They worked seamlessly with all the other vendors I brought onto the site, and didn't blink when I requested to add an extra hour to the reception towards the end of the night. Our maitre d', Jerry, deserves extra props for managing my non-English speaking parents and in-laws. I received many compliments on how beautiful this venue was and how great the food was. I'm only disappointed that I didn't get to taste more of it! -

Thank you Nassau Inn for a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception. Marianne Bilski was a pleasure to work with and pulled everything off perfectly! I cannot think of a single thing that could have been improved. All aspects, big and small were pulled off with style and grace. I recall getting a little wobbly a few weeks before the wedding and calling Marianne. I asked her who would be responsible for various details and she said "Lisa, that is why we're are here....we have it all covered and all you have to worry about is enjoying your day!" She was right! I have checked back with our gusts and the agree the venue was beautiful, the food bountiful and delicious and the service was excellent.

My husband and I loved having our wedding in such a quaint, historic hotel. The location was phenomenal as everything was in walking distance to town, but more importantly, the value and service was top notch. Marianne Bilski couldn't have made our planning process any easier. She was always available and quick to respond with questions we had, she was very personable, knowledgeable and reliable. All of the hotel services were terrific. The food was outstanding and the cost fair in comparison to other local venues considering what they included in their packages. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for quality, professionalism and value without hesitation. -

The Nassau Inn was a real surprise for us. We had looked at it sort of as an after thought, but now I can't imagine having had the wedding anywhere else. Everything was included (Rental fee, food, tables, linens, and even the amazing cake from Chez Alice Bakery). It was very reasonably priced compared to other venues in the area. The food was great. The staff is so professional, especially Jerry, who I cannot say enough about. He took over our wedding a week and a half before the date because the rep that had been helping us was let go. At first, I was in a panic, but he really came through. By the time the wedding day rolled around I felt completely comfortable trusting him with every detail. We had the entire wedding there....rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I would not have had it any other way. All of the feedback from our guests has been extraordinarily positive. Everyone had a great time, loved the food, and the cake, and the Nassau Inn.
Oh, and it's cheaper than almost everything else in the area. We had talked to Grounds for Sculpture & Rats, Cranbury Inn, Mercer Oaks, Mountain Lakes House and the Princeton Marriott. We had also looked at info on Forsgate Country Club. The Nassau Inn gave us everything we wanted, and it was very affordable. The best part is that our guests got to spend the day in downtown Princeton before the wedding, which of course is priceless. -

Our wedding with the Nassau Inn was beautiful and amazing. They provided us with the main room for the reception, as well as a large room next to it for the cocktail hour. Everything was included in the price for guests - room, a plated meal, open bar at the reception and cocktail hour, as well as the cake. It made planning so much easier to know that the Nassau Inn was taking care of the whole evening.
Marianne was our main contact and she was excellent. She always responded to email quickly, and always seemed to have the right answer for our concerns. She was flexible and helpful and made planning easy. She worked well with all our vendors, answering questions, and getting them into the site early in the day.
The food was excellent. Our guests chose a plated meal before the event, and everyone enjoyed the food. Even the vegetarian option was great. There was plenty of food, the catering staff was helpful and courteous, and the whole evening flowed very well. Plus, the cake from Chez Alice that is included is the best cake I've ever had.
I would highly recommend the Nassau Inn to anyone looking for an all-included package for a beautiful wedding. -

I only have good things to say about Nassau Inn. The venue is located in downtown Princeton, which is very easy to get to. The inn is a built upon a historical building and there isn't a lot of decorating needed.
We didn't want to spend a lot of time on planning the wedding but still want to have a elegant event. Nassau Inn made that possible for us. We contacted Marianne in February 08 if it's possible to have a wedding by the end of April. She got back to right away and everything moved so quickly.
On the day, everything was taken care of. Barkley and Sean was with us all night making sure everything is taken care of. All in all, we cannot be happier. It was so easy we couldn't believe it.
Also.. the food is EXCELLENT. -

Melissa was the absolute best! She took a lot of time with helping us make our day absolutely perfect. It was a bit on the pricey side, but I'm so happy we went over budget to get the inn. It was completely wonderful from start to finish. -

We chose the Nassau Inn because of the close location to our church in Pennington, and because of the historic architecture. I worked with Marianne, the Catering Manager, throughout my entire planning. During this time, she was very PATIENT and ACCOMMODATING to my vision and needs. Even though my wedding was small, 40 people including bride and groom, Marianne never made us feel as though we were not as important. The service was HIGH QUALITY and STRESSLESS.
On the day of our wedding, 10-9-10, we, and the guests, were blown away with how the staff organized my vision. They worked very well with the florist and other vendors to create the warm family atmosphere we wanted. When I arrived, the videographer told me that I am going to love the look of the dining room. I believed him, because the reception area looked great. We chose the Palmer Room, which was naturally decorated with reds, browns, and warm lighting. The guests loved this area of the inn. It is perfect for the bride who is having a Fall or Winter (Christmas) wedding.
The hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, drinks, and cake were EXQUISITE. Our only complaint was the entree, as it did not taste like what we had for the tasting. It was not horrible, just not to our liking. Of course this one flaw will not stop us from recommending it. Overall, everyone enjoyed and filled up on everything else, so by the time it came to the entree, my husband and I were already full. I was also saving room for the cake. The cake was GREAT and YUMMY. Chez Alice made the cake for their venue. We had the Frasier and Mango Mousse....mmmmm...could eat some right now. We saved the top tier for our one year anniversary, so guess I can wait, or go into Princeton to buy a slice....mmmmm...
Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, the Nassau INN. -

The Nassau Inn made our day sooo special. We had nothing to worry about - NOTHING! Peter was with us the whole night and he made sure everything ran smoothly. The wait staff was sweet, professional, and personal. They made sure our guests were happy - which wasn't hard to do. The room was GORGEOUS! It was decorating perfectly for Christmas. The food was as good as it was on our tasting. EVERYONE said how wonderful of a time they had. Definitely look into the Nassau Inn - ESPECIALLY if you are looking into a holiday wedding. -

Don't hesitate, they were wonderful. Melissa Dill did a fantastic job of running the entire event. The ONE and only issue we had, which was rather minor, was a member of the waitstaff who was not willing to handle a request of one of our guests. I think it was a request for extra something (gravy?) and the waitress said "there isn't any more". There was another request at that table and she said it wasn't possible. Another waiter did ultimately fulfill the request, so it clearly was possible. But again this was COMPLETELY minor and I had not one complaint about the entire affair. All of our guests had a wonderful time, and every vendor to which we were referred did a great job. Highly recommend! -

I am so glad I chose to have my wedding reception at the Nassau Inn. My wedding coordinator was Keir Weinberg who is the best. She was so easy to work with. She immediately gave me her email address and said to contact her with any questions or concerns at anytime and I completely took advantage. My Mom, Dad and I would contact her with requests non-stop, and she always got back to us right away and made sure we were happy with the way things were going. She kept me so organized with her reminders and it was obvious she loves what she does.
On the actual wedding day everything ran so smoothly. The venue was set-up exactly how I wanted, the food was delicious and anytime I needed something Keir or another employee was at my side in seconds. It was honestly the perfect Princeton wedding and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. -

Marianne and Kier were great, everyone said the food tasted really good, we loved our wedding and the planning process was low stress. Nassau Inn looked beautiful in the snow, and the fireplace added a great touch of wintertime warmth. Thank you to the entire wait staff as well!! -

Everyone was wonderful from start to finish. I worked exclusively with Marianne, who was responsive to my many inquiries and e-mails and remained patient even when I know I was asking outrageous questions. She was extremely professional throughout the process. I also have to give kudos to Flore, who waited on me both at our rehearsal dinner and during the reception. She made sure I was taken care of on both evenings and even helped me take off my shoes at the end of the evening. She was just amazing. I am so grateful to them for making my dream wedding a reality. -

This site was just what we wanted! We did have some issues with our original assigned coordinator quitting and getting misinformation as a result, but the Nassau Inn made it all work in the end. Marianne was SO patient and Anthony (our event coordinator for the night) was AMAZING and kept everything running smoothly - if anything went wrong that day, I didn't know about it! -

10/16/21 Wedding
We got married at the Nassau Inn in October and the day was beautiful. Jaime, Heather and the team worked so hard to make our special day everything we dreamed of. The weather was not very cooperative but Jaime knew we wanted our ceremony outside and did everything she could to make it happen. When ultimately we had our ceremony inside, rooms were flipped at lightning speed and everything flowed seamlessly. Some turnover of staff just three months before our wedding definitely through a curve ball but Jaime and Heather assured us we were in good hands. We loved our experience at the Nassau Inn and it was particularly appealing to have the hotel attached (although make sure to reserve blocks quickly as rooms fill up!). You have everything at your fingertips in the heart of Princeton and we are so happy with our wedding! We were also able to take some pictures at Princeton University which made for a beautiful backdrop. People are still raving about the food and the cake from Chez Alice, a local bakery right up the street! -

Be explicit on how you want cocktail hour setup and the ballroom. Leave time to double check it's correct before event begins, walk the cocktail hour and ballroom. Dont assume anything, ask how things will be served specifically at stations. Just overcommunicate every detail, don't assume it will be what is in your head. They are good accommodating but definitely need to double check everything even day of. Once you ask for a change or If something is not correct, they will accommodate quickly. -

We held a large rehearsal dinner at Nassau Inn for about 120 guests. The venue is beautiful and in a great location right next to Princeton University. We had dinner in the Prince William Ballroom and a cocktail hour in an adjacent room. The rooms were recently renovated and look very classy. The planning process was pretty straightforward and it was easy to work with Keir. The food was very good as well. Unfortunately, we did not get much attention or support during the event itself. When we had issues with AV (for toasts and a slide show), there wasn't anyone immediately on hand to help -- we had to go track down someone who worked there to assist us. For an event of this size, we would have expected a dedicated maitre'd or someone else to oversee the event and make sure things were running smoothly. Besides that, we enjoyed having our event at Nassau Inn. -

Disorganized Staff, Good Location
We recently had our wedding at Nassau Inn. It's hard to write a review for your own wedding and admit that things were not perfect but we don't see the point in writing (or reading) reviews that are not honest. We had a very mixed experience with the staff at Nassau Inn. We were bounced around to a bunch of different Nassau Inn staff members with varying degrees of knowledge about weddings at Nassau Inn. For example: when we decided to have our wedding at Nassau Inn we were told we would get two complimentary nights because we were having both ceremony and reception at the hotel. However, this was not communicated to all staff working with us and months in we were told this would not be the case by a staff member. The issue was cleared up but it was an early bad sign.
We did not meet Melissa, who ended up working with us the day of the wedding until the day before the wedding. We did not even know we would not be working with our main point of contact until right before the wedding. Thankfully, Melissa was knowledgeable though sometimes a little pushy. This back and forth, especially at the end, made things stressful and stress is the last thing you need when you're getting married.
The food at our reception was also not great (not nearly as good as it was at the tasting). And some of our guests with dietary restrictions were served items that they could not eat - despite the fact that we clearly labeled their food and informed the Nassau Inn staff of these dietary restrictions well in advance.
Finally, our guests who decided to stay here noted that the front desk staff was rude.
Nassau inn is however, very conveniently located and if you are set on having your wedding in Princeton it is worth considering. However, Nassau Inn will tell you that you "do not need a wedding planner." Save yourselves the headaches and get a wedding planner if you decide to have your wedding here. Wedding planners are much better equipped to handle miscommunications and changing points of contact.Nassau Inn's reply:
Greetings,
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review of your recent wedding experience with us. We pride ourselves on the highest standards of service and along with that, the highest standards of communication and guidance throughout your joyous journey. Our event professionals and management team will use this feedback to see where we may have the opportunity to improve. We hope that may have the opportunity to speak with you, at your convenience to better understand where we can improve. Our sincere hope is that we have another occasion to serve you again and exceed all of your expectations. Please feel free to reach out to me, Jaime Wolf, at your convenience. We thank you and look forward to speaking with you.
