MUAH and CO. was absolutely AMAZING!! I can not recommend them highly enough! Thelma is so sweet and easy to work with, and she is so talented when it comes to hair and makeup! She did my daughters hair and makeup for her bridal session as well as for her wedding day and my daughter was so thrilled! Everything turned out exactly as she had hoped. Thelma worked wonders on my thin hair, making it appear 10 times thicker than it really is! AMAZING!! I would highly recommend Thelma and MUAH and CO. to anyone looking for the very best in hair and makeup for your special day! -

Thelma and her team nailed my vision for the wedding day. I looked so beautiful and nothing smeared even after all the tears and hugs. My mother and mother in law looked so fabulous and they felt fabulous. I had a huge bridal party (11 bridesmaids) and they handled it and stayed perfectly to the timeline. Best day of our lives was also spent with amazing make up artists who are genuine, fun and talented. -

I can't say enough good things about Thelma. Her and her team made me, my mom, mother in law and bridesmaids look stunning!

Thelma is such a professional and super talented. I was only in for the weekend (planning a wedding long distance) and contacted her at the very last minute (Saturday) - she responded immediately and we booked a hair and make-up trial Sunday (the very next day). At the appointment Sunday Thelma put me at ease, she provides a warm welcome and good input on options. Thelma is a great listener and helped me express what I wanted in a look (sometimes it's hard to explain or you worry about hurting someone's feelings).
I booked Muah & Co. for my big day because my experience at the hair and make-up trial gives me complete confidence that I'm working with the best! -

Thelma did an outstanding job on my hair for my wedding - it was simply stunning. She encouraged me to get extensions - and while I was hesitant at first given the price - I am SO glad I did. Between the added thickness of the extensions and Thelma's talent - my hair was perfect. My makeup was also flawless - I am glad I opted for the airbrush. My sister-in-law, stepmom and sister had their hair and makeup done by Thelma's team and they were all very happy with the results.
A few other notes: Thelma came to my hotel and her team went to the hotel of my family - it was great that they were willing to go two places. Thelma is very easy to talk to and had no problems doing my hair and makeup in a small hotel room with anywhere from 2 to 8 women coming in and out. My florist sent over a floral hair piece and Thelma worked it into my hairdo until I was 100% happy with it - it looked amazing. I absolutely recommend Thelma for all your wedding needs! -

Thelma and her team were excellent. I was planning my wedding from Washington, DC so I did not get a chance to do a hair and makeup trial. I was so pleased with their services. I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day. The girls had us all ready (8 people) on time for photos. The ladies from Muah and Co were so organized. They walked in with a detailed timeline. Instantly I knew we were in great hands! These ladies are so sweet. I felt so relaxed as they were getting us glam'ed up. -

We had a tight make up window, and Thelma and Sandy made sure everything went over smoothly. I love that there was no minimum fee based on number of people getting make up done (aka cheaper if 7 people do it versus 3 people) and that they offer ala carte services at a lower price (just face makeup, just eye makeup). All of the girls loved their make up and it photographed beautifully. I highly, highly recommend them for make up! Thank you all for everything!! -

If you do not get Thelma to do your hair and makeup for your wedding then you are making a big mistake! Thelma helped transform me into a princess and I felt beautiful all night. I’ve gotten multiple compliments from people I do not know on social media on how great of a job she did. I had my makeup trial done at her home where I first met her and connected with her instantly. On the day of the wedding, she had a hair & makeup timeline for me & my girls and we actually finished early. My bridesmaids went out to get snacks before heading to the venue and got complimented on how pretty they looked from the cashier (who also asked for Thelma’s information!). I can be pretty particular at times and Thelma delivered! -

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Divaz Fabula was! Thelma and her girls were the perfect addition to my daughter's wedding day. They listened to what each girl wanted and made sure that each bridesmaid (or this very nervous mother of the bride) was happy with how she looked. If something wasn't quite as they wanted it, it wasn't a problem, they went back and fixed it. We had long hair and short hair, bridesmaids and a mother of the bride that was a little nervous about having her hair and make up done by someone else. All of us left happy and feeling beautiful. Most importantly, my daughter, the bride, was thrilled with her hair and make up. She look amazing! It was simply perfect! They brought a fun and exciting feeling to the day and it truly felt like we had known them forever. We are from Boston and had to trust Divas Fabula to do their job flawlessly and I can honestly say that they did that and more. I would recommend them to any bride (and nervous mother of the bride)! You can trust them to make you feel beautiful on the most special day of your life! -

I could not be more impressed with Thelma and her daughter. They did an amazing job on all my girls makeup and hair. Thelma spent the whole day with us and was so patient testing lipsticks etc. making sure every bridesmaid was happy with how their makeup turned out. I was very specific about how I wanted my makeup being fair skinned I wanted it super light and to look natural and she did such a great job! Couldnt have found a better make up artist! -

Thelma was easy and professional to work with, and she did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I live in Houston, and Thelma was easy to get in touch with via phone and email. I don't normally wear makeup on a day to day basis, so I wanted a natural look and was a little nervous since I had had a bad experience with another artist. Thelma listened to my concerns and customized my look so that we got it just right. She even researched and bought a new product that would help with fine lines around my mouth and under my eyes. I received many compliments on my makeup and her fabulous updo during my wedding. I would highly recommend Thelma to any bride. She is professional, talented, and also has a great personality that makes her fun to work with!

Thelma is extremely professional. She is prompt in all her responses and makes it very easy for the customer to focus on the event and not on anything else. She was very good at listening to the different tastes the 3 of us had for our hair and make up. She was on time and prepared. Thelma was also a joy to be with as she worked on us. She is thoughtful, energetic and even played great music while we relaxed and let her work her magic. I would highly recommend her. We had an incredibly positive experience. -

I could not have asked for a better experience from a make-up artist. Thelma was amazing. From the first day I called her requesting information, all the way until my wedding day, she was always making sure that I was happy and taken care of.
She answers pretty quickly as thoroughly, was always willing to accommodate me, the bride.
Thelma did a trial run for me, my make up for my bridal portraits, and wedding day make up for my wedding party and I. Not only is she great to be around, but also knows what she's doing and knows weddings. I looked beautiful for everything and on my wedding day the bridesmaids and mothers looked great as well.
I would absolutely recommend Divaz for your bridal needs. -

Thelma and her crew are simply amazing! They did hair and makeup for the bridal party for my daughter's wedding. I was so impressed with the way they easliy "set up shop" in our hotel room. They were professional, efficient, and a lot of fun to work with. It is obvious that Thelma is dedicated and takes pride in her work. She is attentive to detail and makes sure everything is perfect! For our wedding, she put in a long day, but even stayed until after the ceremony to take care of any needed touch ups. Divaz Fabula is fabulous!!! -

Thelma & Sandy did airbrush make-up for me & all of my bridesmaids for my wedding. I cannot say enough good things about their work! They both took the time to listen to what each girl was looking for, and incorporated their own twist so that every girl had their own unique look. We all looked flawless, and the make-up looked great all night (even through the Texas heat :)) In addition to the beautiful make-up, Thelma was great to work with leading up to the day. I was extremely busy with work & planning, so it was great to be able to send an email & know she'd respond quickly with clear directions for what I needed. I can tell that this is her passion, and she truly cares about her client's satisfaction. Would definitely use Divaz Fabula again! -

We had a fabulous experience getting our hair and make up done for my wedding! Three bridesmaids were done as well as my mother and myself and we all turned out beautiful. I worked with Thelma of Divaz Fabula for my wedding. She did an amazing job! She did my hair and makeup for both my bridal and engagement session. On the day of the wedding, she did hair and makeup for both my sister and I and it turned out amazing! I went in with a photo (from Pinterest, but of course) for my hairstyle and she nailed it! I worked with Thelma and she was amazing! She was very responsive to every phone call or email with any questions I had and always kept me up to date with the schedule for my wedding. She did a great job on my hair and makeup and regularly stopped to have me check in the mirror to make sure I was pleased. She was very pleasant during the whole process and made it fun! Thelma was absolutely wonderful. I was a bride with no agenda and just let Thelma do her work. At the last minute we decided to go with the air brush make up as well and I was so happy with the results (never having had that done prior to my wedding day). She made me feel so comfortable. Thelma and her sister were amazing. I loved what they did for me, my sister and my mother. We all felt so beautiful. It made it more special that they could come to my house and do everything there. They played music and talked with us to make my nervous less insane, which was so nice! Every time I had gone to a professional for hair/makeup it has NEVER been successful. They got it on the first try and were beyond successful. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely use them again! -

Wedding 11/30/13: Thelma's work was excellent! Both the bride and I (mother of the groom) received numerous compliments on how great we looked! She did fabulous work and is so easy to work with! We have already booked her services again for another family wedding in June!

Wedding Wire wouldn't allow me to do another review, so I'm adding these comments to the previous one!
I am a repeat customer of Thelma, having used her for my son's wedding 7 months ago. This time; however, the task was much larger - there were 8 of us needing makeup done with 2 girls also needing up-dos! We had an early afternoon ceremony time and this meant an EARLY call time for Thelma & Sandy! They were there on time and did an amazing job! During the reception, the bride (my daughter) commented to me "Thank goodness for professional makeup artists!!" I think that just sums it all up! We were all thrilled with the work they did, how beautiful they made everyone look and how personable they both were! I wouldn't hesitate to call Divaz Fabula ANYTIME I needed there services! -

Divaz Fabula was absolutely amazing! When I met with them for my consultation and we tried out my wedding hairdo it was like I was talking to someone I had known for years. In one session we laughed, cried and everything inbetween. It was so much fun and wish I could get my hair and makeup done all the time. She was unsure if she could do the type of hairstyle I wanted for my wedding because of my hair type however she said she would try before saying no and ended up being awesome! She is well worth the money. I will go to her again if I ever need any hair or makeup. -

We didn't expect the Divaz Fabula to be available because time was getting short when we decided to call in the professionals. We got lucky. For an afternoon wedding at 2 p.m., they arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday morning with all their equipment: upbeat and ready for any challenge. They ask what you think, what you want, what you like, what colors you wear, and when the rollers get hot, things start happening. There is nothing they can't do. They even styled a length of tulle to complement the bride's hair ornament and it turned out to be all the veil she needed. The Divas are truly fabula: positive outlook, personable manner, and professional results. It's all good ( get airbrushed )! -

Thelma and her sister Sandy were my lifesavers for my wedding day makeup! After my first booking fell through 3 months before the wedding I frantically contacted Divaz Fabula after they came highly recommended by my wedding planner. Thelma basically moved her entire schedule around so that she and her sister could be available for me that day. They did a fabulous job for myself and the entire wedding party on the wedding day. I never had to worry about them being late or unprofessional. She also did my hair and makeup for my bridals and they turned out fabulous! If anyone is looking for hair/makeup professionals for their wedding then these ladies are your girls!!! :) -

The ladies at Divaz Fabula did an amazing job at our wedding in August. I was on a tight budget and didn't know if I would be able to afford getting my hair and makeup professionally done. However, when I met these ladies I knew that they would be fun and very easy to work with. I was able to make it fit into our budget and I am so glad we did!! They were extremely professional and did me, my mom, and my sisters' hair and makeup!! They were also able to do all my other bridesmaids too (I had 8)!!! They did an amazing job and the hair stayed in place through the night in Texas heat! The best part is that they came to our wedding venue and made it a nice and relaxing day for everyone! Divaz Fabula Rocks! Thelma did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I could not have been happier with how it all turned out. When I met with Themla to do my trial run (for my engagment pictures) she was so fun and easy to talk to. I asked for a natural look that would last all day. I normally don't wear much make up and I'm sure she could tell I was a bit nervous about getting all "done up" Thelma took her time, made sure i was happy, and in the end made me look amazing. She completely put me at ease after that day. And on my wedding day, I felt like a princess! Not only did she do a spectacular job on MY hair and make-up, but my mom and sister looked stunning as well. Thelma is a great person inside and out and is truly passionate about her work. For those of you trying to cut cost, I know hair and make-up for a wedding can be a bit expensive but it is well worth the price with Divaz Fabula, You WILL NOT be disappointed. Thelma did an amazing job on the retro inspired makeup for my wedding. After our trial, we encountered an allergic reaction to the eyeliner that was used when creating the wings on my eyemakeup. Thelma took the effort to do extensive research on hypoallergenic options, found a few options, and did a second trial to make sure my eye makeup would look flawless on my wedding day. She showed up and got started before my hair appointment and completed my face just after. I now consider her my friend and would gladly recommend her to anyone who needs a skilled makeup artist. -

I recently had my wedding in late June 2013 and my wedding venue (Texas Old Town) referred me to Divaz Fabula. Thelma was my makeup and hairstylist and she was absolutly top notch! I told her exactly what I wanted during my hair and makeup trial and she matched it perfectly. During the trial she took her time and perfected my makeup and she went along. I definitely recommend the airbrush makeup, my wedding ceremony was outside in 105 degree weather and it lasted all night. I received many compliments on my hair and makeup. All in all, my complete wedding look was flawless, if you are looking for high level makeup and hairstylist, please see Thelma, she will leave you feeling flawless and gorgeous. -

We woke up at 5:30 am to start make up, but they showed so much enthusiasm and energy that morning, no one minded at all. I was able to show Thelma a few pictures and we came up with the perfect hairstyle and makeup style. She did not stop working on me until she was convinced that I looked perfect for my big day. Her team works fast, but made sure everyone looked flawless. I had 6 bridesmaids that needed hair and makeup and her team was able to work on everybody in one room at the Austin Motel. Thelma did my hair for my wedding on 9/27/13. Her updo's are beautiful work!!! I found her on a referral from my photographer, just weeks before my wedding. She replied to my first voicemail immediately, and she was able to squeeze in my first consultation immediately too. My mom commented on the pictures from my consultation that it was one of the most gorgeous updo's she had ever seen. She graciously reserved an appointment for my bridals on short notice even though I still had one last consultation to do elsewhere, and followed up promptly for my decision. Even though her pricing was higher than all the other consultations I had, I booked her for my bridal portraits and for the wedding and both times my hair was beautiful! She listened to what I wanted, made adjustments from my suggestions and made sure I was happy with every little hair! She also did updo's for my mother-in-law and step-mother on my wedding day that were beautiful too! They loved theirs and got lots of compliments! The 4.5 for quality of service is only because Thelma had to hire someone else to do my other bridesmaids (her sister wasn't available that day) and they didn't love their hair. I think they would have if Thelma had done it herself! You have to pay in full in advance, so brides, leave yourself time to collect from your bridal party! All in all, i couldn't be more pleased with her work. I would refer her in a heartbeat. It was pricey for the budget I had left over at that point but I've worked in the beauty industry for 13 years and having beautiful hair was important to me so it was worth it!! Thank you Thelma! -

Sandy was great!! She helped create the exact look I was looking for on my wedding day. Half way thorough our wedding planning, we moved to Minnesota, so I was nervous picking vendors without the ability to do a trial run. At the beginning, there was a little confusion over who would actually be doing my hair and make up since Thelma had a wedding booked that day already. Knowing that Thelma(who was the one originally referred) was not going to be able to do my make up, made me even more nervous. But her sister Sandy took my photos and made them a reality. She was great with making sure we were done on time while still very friendly with my bridesmaids and my mother. I think she might have even showed up before we did all set up and ready to start! It didn't feel like we had a random person in the room, it truly felt like we had a friend in there helping us get ready. Thank you Sandy for all you did! -

Divaz Fabula was one of the recommended vendors from my wedding venue so I took the plunge and booked with Thelma for my wedding. Thelma gets five stars for absolutely everything. She is such a sweet woman and she was very accommodating during my trial to make sure we got the style exactly as I wanted it. My hair and makeup were stunning the day of the wedding, and I was and am so happy with her work. Unfortunately, the staff she brought with her on my wedding day were not as impressive as she was. My mom and sister also got their hair and makeup done with other people, and they did not have as great of an experience. The staff who did their hair seemed at a loss for how to do certain styles, and in my mom's case, did exactly what she asked them to please not do (pulled her hair back in a way that showed off the part where her hair is thinning). To Thelma's credit, she tried to go over and help the situation, but time was limited, and honestly, only so much could be done. After the wedding I brought up the issue to Thelma and she apologized and sent my mom and sister gift cards. Thelma's professionalism during the entire situation was admirable, and based on other reviews, I imagine this kind of thing doesn't happen very often. -
