With all the chaos going on in the world MVM was so great with helping us still have the wedding of our dream Lauren was amazing and so nice! Tim did an excellent job with the food everyone loved it! And I can't forget the wonderful staff and our dancing bartender Johnathan who was soooo cool highly recommend and thank you so much for everything you guys did! -

Wedding of our Dreams!
My husband and I had our reception at Mountain View Manor on December 4, 2021, and we cannot rave enough about this venue! Tim's customer service is unmatched, and all of the recommended vendors are outstanding! I cannot stress how EASY Tim made the planning process. He was always calm and collected, and was willing to incorporate our specific details with ease. I was blown away when I walked into MVM after our ceremony (we were married at a local church) and saw the stunning holiday decor and organization that Sue from Floral Cottage arranged in coordination with Tim. Our guests were beyond impressed with the food, decor, and flow of the evening. We could not have asked for a better night. Thank you for everything MVM! It was the wedding of our dreams! -

We legitimately considered having an event every year because our wedding was so amazing here! Every time we go to another event at a different venue we are reminded of how much we loved Mountain View! From initial meetings to contract signing to the weekend of our wedding, Tim was responsive, detail oriented, accommodating, reassuring and executed a perfect event for us! We knew Tim had our best interest at heart and this made wedding planning much less stressful. We chose this venue because we wanted a weekend getaway wedding a little outside of Northern New Jersey and the location, manor, food, and staff made everything about the weekend (despite rain and cold that weekend) the best day we could have asked for. We especially recommend DJ Ralph! -

A literal dream come true
I could not have picked a better venue than MountainView Manor, and I mean that with everything in me. I worked with Tim leading up to the day, he reassured me constantly about the big day, made sure the smallest details were taken care of and really out did himself since the day we met with him. My wedding was planned for April 2020, meaning it had to be rescheduled due to COVID, and Tim made sure we had a new date planned and all my vendors were on the same page within the hour of that decision. The day of, I worked with Lauren, the maître d'. Being able to feel like it was a friend helping me through rehearsal, the ceremony and the reception was a huge blessing. Through the commotion of the reception ending and clean up, I had the chance to let them know as a group that they are such a huge reason this day went PERFECTLY. I also had the chance to talk with some wait staff and bartenders and let them know how much it meant to me. From early planning, to rescheduling, the FOOD (the food was amazing, shout out to Tim and Rob), the ceremony, the reception, the after party, the day after, there is not one thing I could think of on MountainView Manors end that wasn't absolutely incredible. You get so much included with a wedding here, and it goes so much deeper than the day of. I will forever be grateful for this team, the memories they helped create and I hope I get to attend weddings here in the future! -

Our wedding at Mountain View Manor was spectacular!! MVM is an old, beautifully restored mansion with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, old-fashioned reception room, and stunning views… And it even has guests rooms on the second floor for family and friends to stay. Throughout the entire planning process, we dealt exclusively with Tim. Since I live on Long Island and the venue is about 3 hours away from me, we did most of our communicating through email and by phone. Tim was very responsive and always got back to me with answers to my questions very quickly, often in the same day. I had made several suggestions / requests in the months leading up to my wedding, and Tim was receptive to all of them and he made sure that everything was absolutely perfect for me and my guests. In addition to handling the business end of things, Tim is also the chef! He promised large portion sizes of high quality gourmet meals for our guests, and when the wedding weekend came, that is exactly what he prepared.
We chose to turn our wedding into a weekend long celebration. On Friday night, we held a buffet dinner for our closest family members that were sleeping at the mansion with us for the weekend. After dinner, MVM put out additional appetizers and snacks and we had the rest of our guests join us for a “Welcome Gathering.” It was so much fun! Saturday was our actual wedding. As Tim promised, the day went very smoothly. His staff handled everything for us and we didn’t have to think about a thing! The meals provided were out of this world. Everything was fresh, delicious, and, as promised, the portions were huge! On Sunday morning, we hosted a brunch for our family. Tim prepared this as well, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the best weekend of our lives.
Our wedding would not have been complete without our key vendors, who we hired based off of Tim’s recommendations. DJ Ralph, who was wonderful and allowed us to customize our entire playlist. Ellie from Elliegant Cakes made us a mouthwatering wedding day breakfast as well as the most amazing wedding cake! And Sue from Floral Cottage Weddings blew us away with her gorgeous arrangements!
Overall, our wedding at MVM was better than we ever could have imagined. Friends of ours have even said that it is by far the best wedding they have ever been to. Tim helped us plan out three major events and everything was wonderful. He made sure to offer varied menu options throughout the weekend so that our guests weren’t getting repeat dishes, he customized everything to meet our needs, and he even lightheartedly told me that he wasn’t going to cook for me if I wouldn’t smile, as he could see I was getting nervous. Our advice to future couples is to follow Tim’s input and don’t worry about a thing - he won’t steer you wrong and you will not be disappointed with what he delivers!

Everything was so easy
We were married here in August of 2019. The journey leading up to our wedding at Mountain View Manor began with extensive internet searches for potential venues. We knew that we wanted a unique location that allowed for nature’s beauty to shine on the day with a bill that wouldn’t force us to move in with our parents. Tim was a giant reason why we chose Ardmore mansion and had such a wonderful experience here. He showed us the venue, then showed my parents the venue, then showed both sets of my in-laws the venue all separately. He was extremely accommodating and understanding of the pressure we felt to make this day perfect.
We knew we had found the right place after exploring the grounds and mansion and talking to Tim about the menu. When we told him we wants to have chicken parmigiana on the menu, he immediately said “I’ve got a great sauce!”. Though we wanted fairly traditional ceremony and reception, the ability to let our personalities shine through and to customize the details was huge. None of our vendors put us into a box, insisted that we did something in a particular way or pressured us. They advised us, gave us honest pricing, answered our questions and allowed us to think about what was important to us.
Our wedding day was beautiful. All of the vendors that Tim recommended were true professionals. Lauren, our day of coordinator, knew when it was time to get everyone in line and took control of the day so that we didn’t have to. She worked with our DJ (Stylez Entertainment) so that the music was tailored to each upcoming moment and that the announcements were made at exactly the right time. We trusted Tim and the vendors that he recommended to read the room and really cater to the mood of our guests. Everybody went above and beyond. We have no regrets, only special moments that we will relive again and again. -

My wedding was on October 13th of this year and it was magical. The view was gorgeous, my guests commented on how lovely the location was, how delicious the food was and the how gracious the service was. We are from NYC and I was skeptical about the distance of the manor and whether or not my guests would mind traveling but once we met Tim who is the house manager and chef of the manor and when we saw the staircase in the front we knew that this is where our wedding should be. Tim is honest, straightforward, accommodating and precise. He made my husband and I feel at ease and stress free. Lauren, our maitre'd was the best. She kept us on point when it came to timing, anything pressing we needed, she was awesome! Our bartender was awesome! He was willing to stay for our afterparty which we were clearly too tired for, I hope he left with a hefty tip!. I truly enjoyed Mountainview Manor and I am pretty sure you will too! -

MountainView Manor is a beautiful venue that all of my guests loved! It was so nice to be the only wedding on the property and there is so much space outside that kids enjoyed running around and my guests enjoyed playing games on the lawn. The garden is a romantic place to have a ceremony and begin your life as a married couple! Tim made absolutely delicious food and the service to my guests was very quick- no one was waiting for their meal! He also answers any questions you have via email very quick- which is a relief for a first time bride! The bartenders not only served my guests, they also joined us on the dance floor and taught us how to move to some of the songs- it was so much fun! Lauren, the day of coordinator, was fantastic and made my day as the bride so easy! The best part is that you and some guests can stay the night in the mansion and have an after party or a relaxed sleepover! We had 100 guests in the main mansion with a full bar and the cost was only $110 per plate- which is great for a reasonable wedding! If I could do it all again- I absolutely would -at the exact same venue!
Ellie from Elliegant Cakes makes delicious desserts! We decided to have cupcakes instead of a cake and we received many compliments and there were none left!
DJ Productions in Milford, PA was reasonably priced and made our wedding fun! They were easy to communicate with leading up to the day!
Quality Bus Service is great to help bring your guests to and from a hotel- we chose the Best Western Inn in Matamoras, PA. It was a great price and they delivered my guests to my venue with plenty of time to spare! -

We had an amazing wedding experience at MVM. Tim and his staff made us feel right at home. It was everything we wanted in our wedding weekend and more. The food was incredible and the accommodations were perfect. It was nice that we were able to have the entire mansion to ourselves for the weekend. Our maitre d, Lauren was extremely helpful and made our wedding everything that we could have imagined.
It was nice to have our rehearsal dinner at the mansion the night before and stay in the mansion with our close friends and family. So many of our guests told us they had a great time and loved the food at the wedding.
We highly recommend the MVM for your wedding! -

Mountain View Manor truly is a hidden gem just 2 hours from New York City. My wife and I spend a lot of time in the area during the summers and were thrilled to find this hidden gem while looking for wedding venues. Immediately we fell in love with the venue space and the wedding coordinator/ chef Tim. The space is absolutely beautiful and extremely flexible no matter the size of your wedding. Tim sold us the moment he spoke about the food. The options are endless and highly customizable. The day after the wedding all our guest couldn't stop raving about the food.
Mountain View Manor does a great job of making your day special and treating you like you're their only customer. They are the opposite of a wedding factory venue. They are continuously in contact and highly flexible when it comes to special request. If you're are looking to have a wedding in this area we strongly recommend considering Mountain View Manor as the place to host your special day. -

We were told by so many of our guests this was the most unique experience they've had for a wedding venue and raved about it's magical vibe and amazing food! We had the time of our life and Tim knocked the food out of the park! He was willing to let us chose the menu and he cooked various worldwide cuisines and with perfection! Was a huge highlight to the wedding, perfect choice if you're foodies and not a fan of typical wedding food.
We had 175 guests and it seemed like the perfect amount for the Barn. We used the Ukranian church, St Volodymyr, across the street for the ceremony and had our guests walk between the three buildings. The walkways are tree lined next to a large open lawn and everyone loved the experience of taking the brief walks to the next part of the party. We stayed in the Manor's 8 bedrooms for the weekend and had a great time being able to hang with all of our friends each night on the big elevated porch. They have the florist and cake baker ready for you and both are also highly recommended. Sue, the Florist also knocked it out of the park.
MVM is highly recommended by us and our guests for a sincere hard working team that knows how to run a nice unique wedding experience. The property is serene so for us, as a Brooklyn couple it was exactly what we were looking for out of the city. -

Our wedding was this past May 2019, the day was beautiful and the people at Mountain View Manor was amazing. Anything we needed they did, even things we didn't know we needed they had read for us. They worked with us right from the beginning to when we left the next day after our wedding. -

Our food was amazing and all of our guests raved about it (thank you, Tim!). Our day could not have been any more perfect! Such a beautiful and unique setting! Staying upstairs after our wedding was super convenient for us and our wedding party.

All of the staff and associated vendors made wedding planning so easy and carefree. We chose to stay at the manor the night before the wedding, and we are so glad we did! I can't stress enough how happy we were with this choice...The manor truly felt like we were at home, which made the morning wedding preparations essentially stress-free. I was really able to enjoy the whole morning leading up to the ceremony, and take in every minute. Everything just fell into place (thanks to the professional, amazing staff and vendors). Let me just say, Orest's list of associated vendors is amazing! Tim (the executive chef) made an endless flow of hors d'oeuvres, and delicious menu options that every guest loved. We used DJ Flow...and received countless complements from our guests! Our wedding cake by Ellie, and morning breakfast spread was not only delicious, but everything I wanted it to be! She was even sweet enough to keep an eye on my rowdier guests to keep them out of trouble (including my father! haha)...and Sue at Floral Cottage made me feel comfortable day 1! She knew exactly what I wanted, even if I couldn't explain myself properly. She even set up complementary center pieces for my rehearsal dinner, just because!! If I had to plan my wedding all over again, I would choose Mountain View Manor EVERY time!! Anyone currently planning a wedding, please do yourself a favor, and choose Mountain View Manor!! You will have such a unique wedding experience, that you and your guests will never forget! I don't even feel like this review is doing justice to how happy I am with Mountain View Manor...Thank you so much Orest and everyone at Mountain View Manor!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at Mountain View Manor this October, and we are so happy with our choice! The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and provided a perfect setting for the rural fall wedding we wanted. Because many of the vendors are included with the packages available, the planning process was incredibly easy (which was perfect since we live in NYC and were only able to come to the area so often). What's really amazing is that you can rent out the whole mansion for you and your party to stay in for the weekend, and because they only do one wedding at a time, the experience was very custom and personalized. Mountain View Manor really felt like "home" for us and our close-knit families, which made the weekend even more special.
On top of a gorgeous setting and seamless planning process, the food served was absolutely phenomenal! We've been to a lot of weddings, and have had a lot of mediocre wedding food, so this was definitely a concern of ours when we started wedding planning. Tim, the executive chef, completely blew us away with the flavor and quality of food prepared. We got so many complements from our guests, many saying it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding (which we completely agree with)!
Lauren, the day-of coordinator, was a savior for the weekend! I'm (admittedly) a high-strung person who was fairly nervous about every detail, and she took all of my requests in stride and made sure everything was taken care of. The only feedback I'd have is that I would've loved being able to communicate with her before the wedding so that the logistics were squared away in advance. Tim (the chef) manages the communication leading up to the event, but was tied up running the kitchen on the day of so I found myself having to tell Lauren things about timing, vendor instructions, etc. that I'd shared previously. Definitely not a dealbreaker but would've made me feel more at ease.
All in all we had an absolutely wonderful experience getting married at MVManor. The food, setting, and ease of planning are just a few of the things that make this venue truly special. If you want a completely personalized wedding that's elegant yet down-to-earth, look no further. Thank you MVM to making our wedding day vision come to life! -

Beautiful in the Fall
My wife and I got married at Mountain View Manor on October 13, 2018. We fell in love with the drive to the venue and we kept falling in love over and over again with the buildings and the grounds. We were excited that we could have the ceremony and reception at the same place with the bonus that our bridal party could stay at the mansion as well. We originally wanted to get married on the front lawn of the mansion, but because of miscommunication that was not possible. I would ensure that you have all communication with Orest via email and then confirm email communication over the phone...I would also print and bring all email correspondence.
We had our rehearsal in MVM traditional ceremony location but because of rain the next morning, we would not be able to get married in the same spot. My groomsmen, Lauren and I began problem-solving where the ceremony could take place outside. We decided to have the ceremony on the alternate deck, which turned out to be beautiful. Lauren did an amazing job ensuring that the ceremony space was set up, cleaned and that the area was dry from the rain the night before.
As so many of the other reviews stated, the food was amazing. Tim did a great job from start to finish. My wife and I highly recommend MVM, the only thing that I would change is that I would have worked with Lauren throughout the planning process because she is who I worked most with on the day of our wedding. -

Candy Sent on 09/03/2013Our wedding at the Mountain View Manor was amazing! The location is great with a mountain setting where there are great photo ops and is just beautiful! Our guests (and we) raved about how great the staff was! It was everything we were looking for in a venue - naturally beautiful surroundings, quaint ceremony location (outdoor, but had an indoor backup option), and great space to share an evening of eating, drinking, and dancing with our family and friends! If you're looking in this area for a wedding venue, you owe it to yourself to look at this place! Thanks again to Orest, Megan and the staff!
