Melissa at Mon Amie was AMAZING! She helped me find my wedding dress last March, and it was such a special experience. By the time I came to Mon Amie, I already went to another bridal shop and got a good idea of what I liked and didn't like. Melissa did a great job narrowing down my taste and most importantly, asked me how I want to feel in my dress.
Melissa brought me into the dressing room and delivered about 4-5 dresses to start, and the first one she chose was actually the dress I ended up choosing for my big day - she literally nailed it!
Once I decided I loved the dress, Melissa and Megan (the manager) helped me make a few customizations to the dress order, and also worked their magic to make the dress a little more attainable for my budget. I knew it was meant to be! It took about 5 months for my dress to be made and delivered, and although I felt like it was cutting it a bit close to my wedding day, Melissa reassured me that in all of the years they've been in business, they have not missed a single wedding. They even had a showing appointment where I could come try the dress on before it goes to alterations with my veil, shoes, and jewelry! I thought it was a really nice offering as someone who was very eager to finally have my dress.
The seamstresses that work in-house at Mon Amie were so amazing and did incredible work to make my dress fit like a glove. The one note however that I have, is that almost all of my bustle buttons unfortunately popped off by the end of my wedding night, but that could also be user error (my train wasn't exactly super light and I had lots of fun dancing). Regardless, I felt gorgeous in my dress and it felt like a perfect fit.
Overall, I totally understand why so many people trust Mon Amie and I'm so happy I decided to make an appointment. Huge thank you to Melissa for helping me find the wedding dress of my dreams!

So happy I went to Mon Amie!
First of all, I am so happy I went to Mon Amie and selected my wedding dress from here! I went in initially last December to pick out my dress, and I was paired with Tina, who is an absolute angel and gem! She took such kind and thoughtful care of me, pulling out dresses that were the style & price point I wanted, patiently allowing me to take the time I needed to say "yes to the dress," and providing such reassurance the whole process. I said yes to my dream wedding dress, and I received so many compliments!!
When the dress came in, for some reason, the designer made my dress two different sizes - with the top being two sizes two small. While I panicked, the staff at Mon Amie, especially the manager, Megan, the manager, reassured me that they would take care of everything. Without me lifting a finger, they contacted the designer and had them send me a whole new dress immediately. Throughout the whole process too, Megan was really intentional about checking in with me and making sure everything with my dress was going well!
With alterations, I was also so happy with how the seamstresses altered my dress! I specifically wanted the bust area filled in more, and the way they added the tool, you can't even tell they altered it! It looks like the dress came that way!!
Again, so grateful and happy I went to Mon Amie!!

Amazing Staff!
I was recommended this bridal salon by a couple of different people, so I decided to look up some reviews and give it a shot. I came in with a realistic budget and didn’t want to spend too much. When I arrived, I was slightly intimidated by how beautiful the dresses were and the sheer amount of choices. I was met by my stylist, Zandria, and my worries quickly dissipated as she was so sweet and did not judge the cap for my budget. She also was so talented at helping me pick my dress even though I thought I knew what I wanted coming in. She ended up gently guiding me to a strapless ball gown, and even though I came in wanting a fit and flare with sleeves, I wanted out beaming with the dress she recommended. Then, I used their alterations services, and wow… Sonia and Esmie are SO talented and amazing! They added paneling to the sheer bodice of the dress, detachable sleeves, and made the dress fit my body like it was made specifically for me. Please do yourself a favor, and go to Mon Amie!

First wedding dress shop I went to was Mon Amie. Carla was assigned to help me that day and I knew that it was the perfect match. She made me feel so confident and excited to find the perfect dress. The third dress I tried on was the one I ended up choosing but Carla encouraged me to check out other dress shops and come back in a month. Although I went to one other dress shop, I knew that I had to go back to Mon Amie and get that third dress. It was perfect and everything I wanted in a wedding dress. I even got my crown from there. Could not imagine a better experience than Mon Amie.

My Dream Dress!
Mon Amie made me feel like a queen as soon as I walked in. I had went to other bridal shops before I came in and was so impressed with receiving champagne upon arrival and being greeted so nicely. Megan was the associate who helped me try on the style of dresses I fell in love with and made sure I didn’t try on too many so that I could be confident in what I wanted. I was able to find my perfect dress by the third try on and I was overtaken by tears showing me it was going to be my wedding dress. Megan was so supportive and hyped me up the whole time. I felt that the whole store was giving me the best vibes and made me feel like I was making the right decision. My dress was also a trunk show dress so it was only going to be there for that particular weekend and it felt so special that I got to purchase something unique. The alternations experience was also so easy and amazing. Thank you for the most glamorous experience!

I had the best possible experience with Mon Amie as my bridal salon.
At my first appointment to try on dresses, the consultant who helped me was fantastic - she helped me determine exactly what I wanted and was so helpful along the way. She even helped me stand up to my mom that I knew I had found the dress that day.
Every subsequent fitting and interaction was fantastic also. Everyone there is so warm, friendly, knowledgable, and lovely. It's such a great atmosphere. I especially loved our seamstress Jenny - she's a genius.

The attentiveness and quality of service from Mon Amie was above and beyond, from getting a friendly text before my appointment requesting images or a link to a Pinterest board in what I was looking for, to arriving at the salon with my name written on the mirror, to having the most warm-hearted stylist Tina Mclean having printed out my list and already had a vision for what I was looking for right as I arrived with champagne ready. I felt like I was getting the VIP service a bride wants to feel. Tina made a huge impact on my dress shopping day, I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the process and she had such kind words of wisdom, I felt she truly cared for what was in my best interest as a bride. And THAT I carried with me through the whole day to the rest of my appointments. Even though I didn't end up with a Mon Amie dress, Tina still followed up with me via email to be excited for me with the dress I went with and offered her service in helping with accessories or bridesmaid dresses. From the day I said "yes" to my dress, to saying "I do", Mon Amie has been simply outstanding through and through.
My initial consultant was awesome in making sure I tried on dresses that I envisioned myself in, as well as trying other styles. Ultimately, I did end up in the silhouette I envisioned (hey, a girl knows what she wants!) but it was nice to be absolutely sure and have the best guidance.
They have the biggest selection and also wide variety of styles and price ranges that fit any budget, so you are bound to find something there.
I loved my consultant and all, but OMG can I please just give a major shout out to Gloria in alterations!???! She is truly a gem and a genius in her work.
I loved my dress when I initially tried it on but I just felt something was missing...and Gloria was able to make minor tweaks so that I fell in love with it all over again, and even more so from when I initially got the dress.
I truly had the dress of my dreams and it could not have been done without the fabulous team at Mon Amie Bridal salon. thank you all so much!!!

My girls and I had a wonderful experience here at Mon Amie. I tried on several dresses after coming in with a somewhat foggy vision and unsure of what I wanted. Tina asked a few questions and selected a few dresses within my price range. I end up falling in love with a style that I came in saying I wouldn’t even try on. I hear that happens a lot. ;) Overall, they have a great selection and excellent customer service. My piece of advice for brides would be to find a dress that you love, and then stop looking at dresses! There is no point in second guessing yourself. Pick one and move on to the next check on the to do list!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! First off, they have such an incredible selection of dresses to choose from and their customer service is top notch. I went into the salon with only 5 months until my wedding date, and when I found my perfect dress during my appointment, my stylist was extremely helpful in ensuring that the dress would be done in time, no question about it!! And BOY did they deliver!
My dress came in a whole 2 weeks earlier than expected which allowed us more time for minor alterations. The seamstress that helped me during my first appointment, suggested that we order the dress true to my size, so that when the dress came in, it wouldn't need much altering, and that is exactly what happened! When my dress arrived at the salon, it fit perfectly with just a little adjustment to the hem and adding the bustle. Needless to say, my dress was more than ready come the day of my wedding.
Mon Amie Bridal is where my sister and cousin also found their wedding dresses, and now I am happy to be joining the club!!

My experience at Mon Ami was really amazing and the best I had in Orange County. Tina was beyond wonderful! She truly listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to find the perfect dress for me. No other consultant at any bridal salon worked as hard to find me my dream dress. She brought in things for me to try that were different from what I had in mind but were super helpful to try on. A lot places just let your entourage pick your dresses which is not always super helpful. Tina was so deliberate and thoughtful with every pick and I felt how earnestly she wanted to be the one to find me my dress. The level of professionalism I felt from Tina was way beyond anything I experienced at any other salon. It didn't feel like it was just her job and she was getting though her work day. I felt her passion and love for what she does and how seriously she takes finding a brides' dream dress. She even came in early for an appointment because that was the only time I could make it! Any bride who works with Tina will feel so well taken care of and like she truly wants you to feel beautiful in your dress!

I can't encourage brides to visit this salon enough! I came to Mon Amie after visiting several other high-end bridal salons where I felt rushed and expendable. Granted, I'm the type of bride that refuses to settle and was hell bent on finding the PERFECT dress, but choosing your wedding dress is a big deal and I didn't want to feel like just another bride or number. So when I met Janelle at Mon Amie it was like a breathe of fresh air! She was so patient and let me pick out NUMEROUS dresses (some of which I tried on twice to narrow down my choices, because they were all so beautiful). I never once felt like an imposition and she went above and beyond to give me and my party the VIP treatment. The whole time I was trying on dresses, I felt like I was just playing dress up with one of my girl friends. I wound up finding my dress that night, and 100% believe that the experience was just as meaningful as finally being able to say "yes to dress". Janelle, as well as the whole team at Mon Amie, made me feel heard and valuable - the way every bride wants and should feel on such a special day. If you havent been here yet, GO! And ask for Janelle if you want your experience to be as memorable and amazing as mine was !

Got my wedding dress at Mon Amie Bridal through the Brides Across America program! I was probably about the 15th or so person in line that morning and was still able to walk out with the dress of my dreams, even though I went in without a clue as to what I was looking for! My consultant, Jill, was so sweet, patient and helpful. Some of the other ladies even helped out and actually brought in the dress that I fell in love with. I was looking for a sleeved dress, and ended up getting a strapless with their suggestion of adding a bodice or bridal jacket to it and that's exactly what I did! They even gave me a complimentary garter that served as my "something blue!"

Let me just start by saying this: You know the bridal salon must be an excellent choice when I'm willing to drive from Studio City to Orange County MULTIPLE times in a year! Mon Amie was suggested by my wedding planner and I am so grateful they sent me to this particular salon. They were so helpful on the day I tried on dresses for the first time and throughout the entire process! There are TONS of selections here for every bride in every price range. They are also located next door to a tux shop, floral shop and a dance studio in case you're in need of any of those services.

I think I tried on an honest total of 100 dresses before I found Mon Amie Bridal. It had been a long fun weekend of trying on every sort of dress and I had come close to a winner at The Dresser salon in Orange County. I had taken a picture of the near perfect dress and I showed it to Julia Salzman (the most fun and competent wedding dress professional I have come across) when I arrived at Mon Amie. She gave me a little smile and told me and my entourage to pick out any dress we fancied. Julia disappeared and we were off. I found a few that were pretty, but nothing jumped out at me as "The Dress." After a few minutes, we went back in the fitting room with our selections and were surprised to find several already hanging on the wall. One in particular looked especially beautiful. I immediately pointed to the one and said I'd try that on first. It was the one. It was gorgeous and I felt amazing in it! Julia had known the exact dress that I was looking for and she was there with me every step of the way. I can't wait to show my pictures of the wedding to Julia and the rest of the Mon Amie Bridal team! Thank you!

After months and months of looking for wedding dresses I scheduled an appointment at Mon Amie Bridal Salon not thinking I would find my dress that day. I went after work in scrubs with only my best friend. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted like most brides do but the dress I chose was totally unexpected. I am so happy that I decided to go here and my dress turned out gorgeous!! Their alterations were awesome and I love the fact that they don't pressure you into anything here. I loved my experience at Mon Amie. I was greeted professionally and promptly even with me being a walk-in. I went to explore the trunk show sale in June and was lucky to have Julia help me find the perfect dress! She and her manager were beyond helpful and accommodating with champagne and prices! Because my wedding is very soon, I had to make sure to find a dress that could be made and delivered on time, but Julia told me to pick dresses I loved and we would see what could be done. I found my ideal wedding gown at this bridal salon on my first day or searching. My wedding gown met all of my expectations and was reasonably priced for the gorgeous quality of the Paloma Blanca gown. I was pleased with the quality of service that I received from the bridal assistant who facilitated my search in the salon. My dress arrived on time and in excellent condition. I would recommend this bridal salon to anyone beginning their search for their wedding gown.

I came to Mon Amie with no intention to find "the dress" on my first stop but I did! They have an amazing selection of dresses and although they are bit on the pricier side, totally worth it! I LOVED my dress so much! I seriously never felt so beautiful! Their staff is very accommodating and friendly and kept me informed through every step of my dress altering and ordering of accessories. The alterations were perfect. They even found the veil I had wanted and it matched my dress perfectly! I couldn't be happier with Mon Amie Bridal Salon.

I ordered my wedding dress here back in March 2014. I attended a trunk show and was able to meet the designer of my gown. It was the best experience I've had and I will remember the day I said "Yes To The Dress" forever.

Mon Amie Bridal Salon was amazing. We were able to book a last minute appointment and I ended up only having to go here to find my dream wedding dress! All the staff was super friendly and were able to accommodate my big group of about 10 people to come to my first dress fitting. They also were able to show me perfect options for jewelry, a head piece and veil that matched perfectly with my dress! Also, make sure you inquire about trunk shows going on as you will get a discount on the dress if there is one (I got lucky and was able to get a discount on my dress).

I had a very positive experience at Mon Amie, and I ended up purchasing my bridal gown there. I worked with Julie, and she was an amazing sales representative. I told her my budget and style I was looking for, and during a two-day process, she helped narrow down my options until I found THE dress. I fell in love with my dress even more every time I put it on, and I felt like a princess in it on my wedding day.
The staff at Mon Amie, especially Julie, was great to work with, and I highly recommend it as an excellent bridal salon!

AMAZING bridal salon. When I first stepped foot into this salon last year looking for a dress, I was welcomed with open arms. The people who work there are so attentive to your needs and wants as the bride. I especially like when you "say yes to the dress," they celebrate by giving you and your entourage CHAMPAGNE! That was fun. Sometimes it's the little things. Thanks Mon Amie for helping me find my perfect dress and making it so easy! LOVE THIS PLACE!

My mother got her bridal gown from Mon Amie and I was hoping I would too. Brittany was our sales representative and she was amazing. I printed out a Pinterest board that had about 100 different bridal gowns that I adored. She was able to see through that chaos, and my vibber-vabber to find the perfect dress for me (within my budget too!).
At first the alternations were quoted around $500 and in the end there were a little more, but it wasn't enough to go over my budget. And they were able to store my gown (I live in Louisiana and didn't want to transport the gown).
My only complaint is that I had a hard time getting a hold of customer service, but that is mostly because I live in other state and had travel plans to consider in every wedding planning milestone.
I would recommend Mon Amie for any bride that wants a designer gown without going to New York or spending an arm and a leg.

I had a wonderful experience at Mon Amie when purchasing my wedding gown. I ended up purchasing my dress during a trunk show and it arrived 10 months later and is absolutely beautiful. The designer was there during the trunk show and I was able to make modifications to the dress. The dresses are expensive, so you should go in with a budget and stick with it.

I loved my dream dress that I had specially altered from Mon Amie. They have great customer service and Esmeralda was an amazing seamstress.

The alterations teams here is, as far as I'm concerned, the best there is. The head of the department, Jenny, is a Godsend. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with and wants to make you feel fabulous. I have nothing but positive feedback for this salon.

My sister-in-law had shopped at Mon Amie for her dress and so I made an appointment. I had shopped at 2 other stores and was discouraged that I would not find my dress. The consultant at Mon Amie said we would find my perfect dress and I did! I came in during a Steven Yearick trunk show (a designer I had not looked at) and on the third dress - found it! It came in more beautiful than I expected and the alterations department did a fantastic job making a French train that I could ballroom dance in. My veil and accessories were equally lovely. I felt like a princess because of Mon Amie. The staff always made me feel like a perfect bride.
After getting a dress from David's Bridal, I was nervous about jumping into another purchase. But the bridal consultant was so friendly and calming. She knew I was nervous and I was scared to purchase a second dress.
But she found the best dress! Even though it originally had straps, she knew if they took them off, it would look gorgeous on my body. She was right!
I love my Mon Amie dress so much. I wish I could wear it every day!

Wow! I went in expecting to be "just browsing" and came out buying the first dress I tried on! Their selection is HUGE and you get an assistant to personally help you. The rooms are so cute and you get to step up on the platform in front of the mirrors just like you see in movies. It was a dream. The assistant carried and picked out anything I pointed to and made other suggestions. Helped me in and out of my dress and offered truthful compliments/criticisms. They had everything from couture dresses, to more casual ones, to fairytale ones. I left with the dress of my dreams and a great memory as well. They are friendly and accommodating. I also bought my veil here which was gorgeous. The only critique on that is it had a small hole in it (we made sure it could not be seen when it was on, unless you looked very closely). They were only able to take 10% off, which I thought could have been a bigger discount considering the hole.
Everything else was great. Best part: they provide for all budgets. Accessories were expensive, but my dress was WAY under budget, keeping everyone happy.
On the wedding day, got endless comments on it.

Furthermore, the seamstress was amazing! The bustier in my dress was HUGE compared to my 32A frame and I was very very worried that it would not fit (and we were on a tight schedule, with the fitting only a week away from the wedding). But it fit PERFECTLY and made it look like my boobs were bigger. She made me laugh the whole time, promising me "Hollywood boobs." Just one second alteration was needed to cut some tulle so I would not step on it. She was great!

I purchased my bridal gown at Mon Amie in Sept of 2012 for my wedding in July 2013. I had a great overall experience there. My first appointment was with Brittany. She was patient and helped me try on many different dresses. She was never pushy and I didn't feel rushed (unlike some other salons that I had visited). After purchasing my dress, they set up the first alteration appointment a few months before the wedding date. My 'seamstress' was Gloria. SHE.IS.AMAZING. She is so funny and kept me laughing at a typically stressfull time. The first round of alterations went great but then the dress needed to be shortened again (requiring lots of hand sewing of lace and appliques!) Gloria didn't bat an eye. I know its her job to do it, but she was cheerful and patient and never grumpy about all of the work ahead of her. She did a great job and even worked me in on a day when she was fully booked. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Mon Amie. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for THE DRESS :)

I love my Italian Atelier Aimee wedding dress and veil from Mon Amie Bridal. It is still the most beautiful dress I'd ever seen! I wish I could wear it again :) I found it at Trunk Show while the collection was at the store for that weekend only. My dress is Italian Chantilly lace and bias cut silk organza. The designer customized the top for me - adding a Chantilly lace v-neck top. They also made me a custom floor length Italian Chantilly lace veil in the same lace as the gown, and named the veil after me. The gown was custom made to my height. I also purchased my Stewart Weizmann wedding shoes at Mon Amie Bridal Salon. The alterationist look out the zipper and added in a lace up back, that I love. I would recommend Mon Amie to all my friends. Someday I am going to build a built-in frame in my closet, and have my wedding gown and veil displayed in there - so I can look admire it whenever I want. My wedding day is definitely the day I felt the most beautiful!

First of all this store is amazing and wedding dress heaven. my attendant was so sweet and patient. I've never seen such beautiful dresses and bridal accessories! They did one mistake and forgot to put in one of hair accessories in the box, by the time i realized I had to call them and they shipped it out immediately. Very helpful for a stressed out bride. Wedding dress buying is serious business- it is one of the staple wedding experiences that many girls have dreamed about since they were a wee lass. I can't say I fall into that category, however I did think that the moment I stepped into my first wedding dress it would all seem real finally, and I can say without hesitation that it absolutely did!
I can't for the life of me remember the name of the consultant we had, but I can tell you that on two separate visits (one during a Lazaro fashion show- so much fun!) I had two very different, yet equally amazing consultants help me. I never felt under budget, or too fat, or pressured in any way- quite the contrary, my consultant helped me stay within budget and ended up suggesting the beautiful Allure gown I ended up getting married in, as well as a beautiful sparkly belt that made it all the more unique. You want to feel the most beautiful you've ever been or ever will be on your wedding day, and these ladies really helped me feel that way even when I didn't think I would.

Huge selection with lots of variety, and good prices for Orange County. My sales gal was not pushy in the least and gave me lots of time to decide. Dress came a little late (although they warned me when I selected it), so leave lots of time. Alternations were a breeze. My appointment at Mon Amie was my very first appointment, I came in thinking I was not going to find my dress. My consultant was Natalie, she helped my cousin find her wedding dress. Natalie asked me all the right questions to find the prefect wedding dress. She brought out dresses that went perfectly with my body type and was very honest when a dress did not work. I ended up buying my wedding dress that day and it ended up being the very first dress I tried on! My alterations were also done at Mon Amie, they made my dress fit like a glove.

I worked with Natalie at Mona Mie she is wonderful.. my recomendation is to attend a trunk show if there is a designer in mind that for your dress. I chose an Alvina Valenta from Lazarro. I attended a truk show so there was a ton of selection and you can normally meet the designer (Jessica actually sketched a picture of me in my dress) and I even got a discount and free shipping.

Mon Amie is the creme of the crop Bridal shop. The dresses are simply stunning and we had looked at 8 different bridal shops but continued to return to Mon Amie even though it was out of our budget. We made it work, because the dress was simply amazing, one of a kind Augusta Jones. Jaws dropped when I put it on and people commented because it was so unusual. The day I bought it, it was the designers trunk sale and they gave an additional percentage off as well as customized it to my size, so it was tailored just to my measurements. When it came in, I didn't need any tailoring at all. just one part tacked down. As someone said at my wedding, it looked like they sewed you in it... and the dress was breathtaking. The staff was wonderful, even when... and we weren't sure whose fault this was, but when my dress came in the first time, they had made the wrong dress... I was very calm and we had plenty of time to get the correct one in. However, they made sure to rush my real one and it came in perfect. Some of the upper staff is a little rough around the edges, but they are probably dealing with a lot of crazy Brides. My girl Jessica was wonderful and Jennie in the the fittings as well as Esmerelda in alterations are fabulous. I loved everything about it, the experience, etc. If you are looking for something a little more different and want a dress that no one else would have then dig deep in Mon Amie throughout their designers and you will be amazed at what you see. I truly felt like a special bride and they made my experience wonderful. I was sad not to return anymore. You can find whatever your heart desires from simplicity, vintage, and even my big greek wedding style is available for you to try. I definitely recommend, go in and have fun trying on many different styles.

She had a good eye for what I liked, just from listening to me, and ended up pulling a dress that I'd never heard of but ended up being THE ONE! My mom was so impressed with Jenny and the overall professionalism of all the staff, that she decided without even a second thought, to buy me a gown that was $1000 over her original budget! She said that Jenny and the staff were so professional and courteous, that she felt that extra money was WELL worth it. So thank you Jenny and Mon Amie ladies for making my mom feel that way! Thanks to you ladies, I ended up with a dress far more beautiful and expensive than I'd ever imagined I could get! Even at the point when I was being super indecisive and kept going back and forth on my choice, Jenny and the rest of the staff were so gracious and never made me feel like I was being a pain in the a** even though I knew I was. They really made my mom and I feel special and I will be forever grateful for that. The bottom line is, the ladies at Mon Amie are experienced, professional, and care about your happiness. I highly recommend Mon Amie!!

i checked out David's Bridal and it's horrible! I love Mon Amie because i love the details, material and design of their wedding gowns. I told the staff that i love lace, crystal and ball gown and the first dress my girl pulled out, my jaw dropped cause it's "the one"....LOVE IT! On the day of my wedding, everybody love my dress and couldn't wait to take picture with me in my ball gown dress. I couldn't believe how sexy i look, even though i am chubby, petite with hourglass-shaped.

I only purchased my dress here as I had to do my alts in another state. I had somewhat of an idea of what I was looking for. After trying on 3 dresses, I asked the woman if she had a dress that might be a combination of two of them. Sure enough she walks in with "that dress". Personal attention was great. Also got my jewelry and veil here. Great quality!

The dresses at Mon Amie are absolutely stunning. Almost every dress I tried on I just loved and it was difficult for me to choose just one! The gowns are fresh, modern, elegant, classy, and just different. The staff here is so accommodating and sweet. Mon Amie was recommended to me by a friend. The bridal salon was amazing. The elderly woman that helped me was so incredibly sweet AND kept to my budget. Within five dresses, I had found the one. After trying it on a year later, it was still perfect. The alterations department did a wonderful job of fitting it to my size (even though I'd dropped two sizes that year). I would highly recommend this vendor.

I had a wonderful experience with them, from picking out my dress (the very first time I tried on dresses, might I add), to the fittings, alterations, and selection of jewelry, veil, and shoes. If you can make a trunk show weekend, that's always fun - because I bought my gorgeous Jim Hjelm during a trunk show weekend I got to pick a 2011, hot off the runway. Plus, I had the pleasure of meeting the designer of my dress, the lovely, gracious, and incredibly talented, Francesca Pitera.

I said "yes to the dress" at Mon Amie and couldn't be happier! They were the first bridal shop I visited, and I walked away two hours later with my dress picked out! They were so professional, friendly, and budget conscious. Unlike the show "Say Yes to the Dress," they did not show me any gowns that were out of my budget, which was very important for me. Desiree was my consultant, and she was so sweet and let me pick out all of my dresses, which made me feel like she had my best interest in mind. She did not try to persuade me into buying anything at all. I brought my mom and sister with me to the appointment, and they were able to sit in a private area and watch me come out in each dress. It was a very intimate experience, with no more than two brides in the salon at the same time. I went to David's Bridal at a later time to pick out bridesmaid dresses, and was appalled at how chaotic, impersonal, and public the whole process was. Anyway, I tried on about 6 dresses, and fell in love with the very first dress! I had to rush order the dress and was really worried it wouldn't come in on time, but it ended up arriving about a month early! The dress fitting process was a breeze (I only had to go in twice). The woman who did my alterations really listened to me, which I appreciated. In the end, my dress fit beautifully, the train was perfect, the bustle was perfect, etc. I could go on and on. I felt so beautiful that day, and am so grateful to Mon Amie for making my wedding dress dream a reality. I would definitely recommend them to any other bride! Thank you, Mon Amie!!!

I had looked for a wedding dress all over northern california and I found dresses I like but had yet to make a purchase. My parents live in the Los Angeles area so when I was visiting them my Mom and I visited Mon Amie. We did not have an appointment so we just browsed however we made it clear to them that we really wanted to try on some dresses and they were able to squeeze us in. This store is beautiful. I love how you can touch and fell every dress and pick out the ones that you want to try on. In many of the other stores I visited the dresses were shoved into bags on racks so you could not easily see what they looked like. I found the dress I wound up buying by seeing it hanging nicely with other dresses by the same designer. Mon Amie also has the largest stock of dresses. They had every dress that I had tried on at other stores so I was able to compare my previous favorites to the dress that I ultimately bought.

I first went to Mon Amie for a trunk show though many of the dresses were out of my price range. I explained to my salesperson what my budget was and style I was looking for. Well, to my surprise, my salesperson came out with 3 dresses that I fell in love with. I ended up buying one with matching shoes and had them alter it too. The dress fit perfectly and was on time. The overall service was great and i'd recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment so you get the attention you want.

The gown-choosing experience for me was special from the moment I booked my appointment to the day I picked up my gown! I am actually sad that I don't have a reason to go and shop there some more! Rebecca was my consultant and she was so helpful, sensitive, and generous with her time. Never did I feel rushed nor pressed to purchase. She gave me honest and loving advice like a friend or a mom would which truly helped my selection process. I bought one of Lazaro's new gowns from his spring collection and am thrilled to this day by my selection and experience - I have never felt more beautiful! Thank you Mon Amie, and Thank you Rebecca!

When I was there last August, I had a chance to talk to a lot of other brides and they all had different stories. So many of them said they had planned wedding after wedding only to have their fiances deployed unexpectedly. My husband’s deployment was extended by a month, giving us only a month after he returned to finish planning the little things for the wedding. Deployments are a hard thing to deal with, especially when planning a wedding, and your event brings a little sunshine to a dreary situation. Thank you, again. It is much appreciated."

I had no intentions of buying it then, but it was a Lazaro Trunk Show and Lazaro himself was there--he showed me what the dress would really look like on someone as small as me and I had to buy it then! I love Mon Amie and its staff. They were very helpful and accommodating from beginning to end! Mayra and Virginia helped me find my beautiful dress and beaded belt/sash both by Lazaro, Jenny C helped me with my veil and accessories, and seamstress Jenny made my dress feel like it was customized perfectly to my body (I had a waist and a set of "girls" that I didn't think existed!), and of course the managers Beth and Kelly who were there every step of the way!!!

I loved everything about my experience here!
-I loved my salesperson, she was not an annoying bimbo like some of those girls that "help" you.
-I loved that they had sample dresses in larger sizes!! There is no other place with upscale dresses that you can try on in a size 16. I refused to pay $2000 for a dress that I couldn't try on, and at Mon Amie I tried on probably 10 dresses!
-I loved my seamstress. She just "get's it" if you know what I mean. I told her I wanted my dress to be really tight, so that it would cinch my waist, and I was worried that she would make it to fit too loose, but it was perfect! Very flattering!
I had no problems, everything went smooth, and I was able to buy my dream wedding dress. Thanks Mon Amie!!

It's pretty overwhelming to look for a wedding dress, knowing how special that one day will be. I thought there we so many beautiful salons to go to but when I went to Mon Amie the selection of dresses took my breath away! Natalie G. patiently walked me through all the styles and options for me. Her commitment was touching and I left there feeling like she should come to my wedding! I found the perfect dress of coarse and Louise N. took care the alterations. They were very dependable and timely. After a couple visits I wanted to invite her to my wedding as well! LOL Needless to say I love the whole group there at Mon Amie and I truly received the dress of my dreams! It was one of the most pleasant, memorable and rewarding experiences of my wedding planning.

Great service and the alterations went well since I am the shortest person and they managed to make dress porportionate with my size. This place was great. although it is pricy, my Jim Heljm gown was beautifully fixed and just georgeous! although I lost weight from my last fitting to my wedding day, the dress still looked great. I recieved many complemements on my dress. The seamstress did a great job and knew just how to fix my dress to fit my petite and short frame.
