There aren’t enough words out there to fully encompass how we feel about having Miguel as part of our wedding weekend! He is an absolute pro! Miguel takes the time to not only get to know you as a couple, but your wedding party and family. Everyone in our party is obsessed with the photos and loved working with Miguel. We felt so honored the entire process and he really went above and beyond! Miguel’s attention to detail and genuine care for your day is unmatched. We could not be happier with all our photos!!! Both my husband and I felt so at ease and natural with him behind the lens. The second we met Miguel his love and care for his work shined through. Two words: hire him!!! If you are looking for a wedding photographer look no further, you've found him! I've worked at over 90 weddings and worked with MANY vendors, so when it came to my own wedding I was pretty nervous but Miguel was so professional, communicative, organized, warm, and incredibly skilled, he put all other wedding vendors I've worked with to shame!
From the start, Miguel was super communicative, set up a call with us to walk through our wedding, and start wrapping his head around the details. He really put my husband and I at ease as we worked out timelines, locations, shot lists, etc. and he helped us wrap our heads around what made the most sense. On the day itself, we found that he had been coordinating behind the scenes with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page with timeline, what needed to happen at each location, and closely coordinated with our videographer to orchestrate our first look (talk about above and beyond!). He even had our schedule memorized and would help us stay on track/on time moving from location to location. Beyond that, he really helped my husband and I relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
I also sincerely appreciated that he remembered our family members names-- it was such a small touch, and granted we had a super small wedding, but it was so lovely to have someone really make a point to remember peoples names so when he was orchestrating shots he would call on people by their name.
After the wedding we got sneak peak pictures VERY quickly, within the same week, my husband and I honestly were not expecting anything but Miguel really went above and beyond and getting us some preview photos quickly. He then got us our full album delivered promptly, keeping us posed on timelines and when we could expect pictures.
When we got the full album we were speechless-- the amount of small moments he captured, his skill, the quality, it was all just beyond our wildest expectations.
We are SO grateful we went with Miguel, not only for his professionalism and skill but for the amount of care he puts into his work. It is clear that he is a skilled professional that has been doing this a long time, and beyond that he is someone who takes working with his clients personally. My husband and I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with Miguel and even want to get married again so we have an excuse to hang out with him all day again! -

My venue had a preferred vendor list and I had no idea who I wanted as a photographer for our wedding. I went through all of the suggestions and found Miguel’s Instagram page. I immediately fell in love with his work, the colors are so bright and that is exactly what I wanted. We met him for our engagement shoot and clicked with him instantly. He always makes sure you’re comfortable and liked to bounce off ideas with posing. Our wedding day was no different, he was very professional and his assistant Angel was just as amazing. Miguel was so incredible to work with and I can’t recommend him enough. I am so grateful for how he captured our wedding and all of the details. I can’t wait to work with him again in the future. -

Miguel Was Amazing! We HIGHLY Recommend Miguel
Miguel was incredible! He went above and beyond! He made us feel comfortable the whole time, laugh, listened to us, and had the quickest turnaround on the most beautiful photos. I cannot imagine a better wedding photographer and working with Miguel truly helped make our day perfect. You tell how much he absolutely loves what he does and I cannot express how grateful we are to know him and that he was our wedding photographer!

Words truly cannot express how grateful we are for Miguel for capturing our wedding so beautifully! From the first phone call with Miguel he has been the most passionate, talented, and genuine person to work with. He was SO organized throughout the entire process, which was such a relief knowing Miguel had everything taken care of! He went above and beyond in every aspect and our photos are more than I could have ever dreamt of. His assistant Angelica was also extremely helpful and our wedding would truly not have been the same without them! Thank you Miguel for making our wedding dreams come true above and beyond! -

Miguel was awesome to work with! We did an engagement shoot ahead of the wedding as a chance to get to know each other and meeting and seeing those first photos made us so excited to have him shoot our big day. He captured so many perfect moments, as well as the traditional photos, and anytime we through something weird his way (like nerdy decor and tossing a Thor's Hammer instead of a bouquet) he ran with it and captured it in a way that looked straight out of a magazine! -

I seriously cannot say enough about Miguel and how amazing he is. He did the photography for my sister's wedding and my (now) husband and I knew we needed to have him for ours. So much so that we changed our wedding date just so we could have him! His photos are absolutely amazing, but that is just a bonus on top of his amazing professionalism! He helped keep us organized and on track the whole day! He really deserves to add wedding coordinator to his title. He got us a huge sneak peek the next day after our wedding and then 2 weeks later gave us THOUSANDS of photos to enjoy. I have received SO many compliments about our photos and how beautiful they turned out. He goes WAY above and beyond and I have the perfect example. Our venue had a beautiful mountain view, but unfortunately it was cloudy on our big day. Miguel knew that I was really disappointed about this. So, because he had attended our rehearsal dinner and got some photos of the backdrop, he was able to edit the mountain seamlessly into a few of our photos. This just all goes to show how much pride he takes in his work and how far he will go to make your day extra special! I feel we have found our photographer for all future family photos for life! -

Exceptional Photographer! A MUST HIRE!
Miguel is an exceptional photographer and incredible person too! Miguel worked within our budget AND was able to invite a second photographer, Angelica, which was an amazing gift to us! Miguel's package included an engagement photo session (with two nearby locations and a wardrobe change). It gave us a chance to begin to get to know Miguel and we loved him and loved the photos he produced! He gave us so much of his time and was clearly focused on a successful process and not rushing to get to the 'next thing.' He valued getting to know us and that connection was the perfect set-up for the big day. Miguel was thorough in understanding complicated family dynamics and coordinated photos efficiently, tactfully, and kindly. He even helped guide us in some wedding day movements as well. And, of course, the photos turned out superb! They are stunning and beautiful and Miguel and Angelica captured every single important shot! Miguel comes with our HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! He made our wedding day so great! -

Miguel was recommended to us by a colleague for photos and he was the only photographer we had "interviewed" prior to hiring...and THANK GOODNESS. Miguel is incredible. He's professional, friendly, caring, and lovely while also having a keen eye. We hired a photographer, but we gained a friend; I know that sounds beyond cheesy, but he seriously is a light in this world. I knew wedding day would be busy, but looking back it was an absolute blur. To have a trusting, reliable photographer (+ assistant) working with us on that day was KEY. I cannot recall so many details about our wedding let alone remember if I even *saw* many of the details, but I know Miguel and Angelica captured everything in photos and I look forward to seeing the day in snapshots. I cannot recommend hiring Miguel enough- stop reading this and email him ASAP!

Most amazing photographer and person!
Miguel is the most AMAZING photographer ever!!!!!! He is professional, kind, takes amazing photos, and goes out of his way to make sure he gets the best shots and overall job.
I found Miguel through Stonehouse101, our venue. I picked Miguel because I loved his photos, they were so natural and bright and just made me feel happy. The other reason is my husband is in the military so we had done a courthouse wedding a couple years ago, so we didn’t want to do engagement photos (also we are in CA and he is in WA) so Miguel adjusted his pricing for us, I talked to about 15 other photographers and none of them would do that. That was big for me because I didn’t want to pay for something I wasn’t going to get. I only met Miguel after I had hired him, I had flown to WA to do a walkthrough of the venue and he wanted to go to (he doesn’t live in Roslyn). So he came to the walkthrough no problem and met and some of my family, it was so great. He was prepared and so professional, he asked me if there poses I wanted, locations, etc. I had no idea, I looked at him and said, “Miguel I take bad photos, I have no idea what I am doing. You are the photographer, I trust you, whatever you think is what we will do.” He was so excited, thanks me and immediately went off. He started walking around the venue and saying oh we will do these here and first look there and etc. It was awesome because had no idea about anything. That being said he works with his clients, I gave him the reigns and he took them no questions, but if you are the kinda person who has a vision and wants to ‘keep the reigns’ he will do that, he is adaptive, professional, and thorough. As we were walking through the venue he got to know me and my family and he was so nice and sweet, he made us all feel so comfortable which for me is big. I am not a big photo person and usually feel awkward having my picture taken so the fact that he took the time to make us comfortable meant a lot to me. Not to mention he asked if it would be okay if he came to the rehearsal so he could meet the wedding party and get to know them so they also felt comfortable. That blew me away, for him to take personal time and drive up to Roslyn just to meet some people was amazing. It showed me how much care and effort he puts into his job and how its not just a job he really wants to capture your happiest moments on one of the happiest days of your life. A few days before the wedding some concerns came up for me, you know normal freakout stuff, and Miguel adjusted his timeline for me among other things, it was great he was so adaptable. At the wedding he was just the most amazing person ever!!! He was relaxed, fun, which kept us in high spirits. He had found some beautiful spots around the town to take pics of me and my husband, it was so great. He is so efficient we actually were ahead of schedule so he took more pics and just used the time to our advantage. Overall he was just absolutely amazing, I seriously cannot praise him enough, my husband and I had such a great time having him as our photographer.The pictures came out absolutely beautiful, communication with him was easy, his website is so easy to use. Everything from Miguel was just amazing, you must hire him, he will go out of his way to make your day so perfect and amazing! Best vendor we used, would never use anyone else, just amazing!

My husband and I can't praise Miguel enough: he's not only extremely talented in his art, he's also such a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with. He listens, is curious, adapts well, is extremely friendly and fun, makes himself available to all his clients (he's on time too!) and just makes the entire process (engagement photos & wedding photos) clear, simple and extremely enjoyable. We recommend him 100% for weddings and any other events. -

Miguel- while obviously an insanely talented photographer - also has to be one of the sweetest most genuine, supportive and wholesome individuals in the industry. We hired Miguel for our wedding and not only did he give us a complimentary engagement photo shoot (with multiple outfits, locations, etc) but also provided us with an insanely quick turn-around time including a handful of "sneak peak" photos edited to perfection just hours after our wedding. Not to mention acted as a friend and coordinator at the venue, helping us sort out so many last minute details and capturing every moment perfectly. If you are looking for an incredible soul and a beyond-talented photographer for your wedding or any other occasion for that matter, you've found the best. Lock. Him. Down. 6/5 stars. -

From the very first time we contacted Miguel about being our photograher he was accomidatng and friendly. He was willing to travel to Orcas Island for our engagement pictures because that was where we got engaged. On our wedding day he kept us on track and was so helpful when things weren’t going as planned. He even had snacks to share to make sure that I was eating something during the day. He is truly the best wedding photographer you could have. All of our photographs are beautiful, he was able to capture all the special moments during our wedding! -
Yan Sent on 07/29/2018I am so excited to recommend Miguel to anyone and everyone getting married. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, engaging, friendly, and wonderful photographer for our wedding day. We were looking for a photographer who loves playing with light, natural photography, and has a talented eye (in particular, my husband is very picky about symmetry and depth in photos), and Miguel's photography embodies all of those qualities. At our first meeting with Miguel (over a year before the wedding!), we immediately felt at ease with his style, the questions he asked, his professionalism, and his willingness to accommodate an early morning wedding. Furthermore, he was willing to work with our tight budget, so we ended our search for a photographer and immediately signed with him within a few hours of meeting.
Even though we opted out of engagement photos and didn't see Miguel till close to our wedding day over a year later, he made us feel relaxed and at ease from the get-go, and was responsive to all of our questions/inquiries throughout the year we were planning. He even attended our rehearsal to meet our family and wedding party ahead of time and to walk with us through the venue! The morning of, Miguel was not only early but he got started right away and went way above and beyond-- helping rally people, get folks to the right place, even offering to get me a drink when we had been shooting for awhile. Miguel had never worked with our vendors before, but he had such a rapport with our coordinator and makeup artist that you would've never known they had only met that day.
Miguel is exceptionally talented and all of our friends and family commented on how wonderful the photos turned out, and how friendly and nice he is. In addition, he gave us a sneak peek of a few of our photos the very next day and got all the rest of them done within a few weeks (we were barely even back from our honeymoon!). In short: go with Miguel and Momentous Images! -

Miguel was so easy to work with, and made sure my husband and I felt comfortable and had fun the whole time while shooting! We spent a few sessions getting to know each other, which helped ease our nerves. He was very open to our suggestions, and put so much thought into each of the shots. Luckily, he had shot our venue before, so he knew all the right places, and all the right times for the best pictures. The pictures turned out better than we could have imagined. We have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience, and wouldn't have wanted anyone else to shoot our wedding!

He was incredibly professional, fun to work with and ensured we were both as comfortable as possible throughout all the photos. We had very specific moments and types of photos we wanted him to capture, and he captured everything we asked for and even reminded us of all our "must have shots" so we had nothing to remember or worry about the day of! We even had a forest fire scare the day of our wedding and Miguel really helped to comfort me and keep me calm through the scare of possible evacuation. We had such a fun and memorable time with him on our wedding day and our photos turned out AMAZING! Our guests were so impressed with our photos and Miguel's professionalism throughout the wedding. He also got all the photos back to us within 2 weeks of the wedding! Thanks again Miguel! You were the absolute best .

Angela Sent on 05/03/2018Miguel of Momentous Image took absolutely breathtaking photos of our wedding, which thanks to the gorgeous photos, was featured on both Style Me Pretty and Seattle Bride Magazine. My wedding was on a sailboat, and he went the extra mile to take a dinghy out in the water to shoot the wedding boat and party from different angles! He was able to relax everyone so much for the group photos, which really helped. I love his bright, airy style and relaxing, friendly manner so much and not only did he shoot an outstanding wedding for us, but he's continued to photograph our most special moment, including my maternity shoot, baby announcement photos & annual Christmas cards! I can't recommend him enough.
