Best Investment- Made Our Every Dream Reality

Hiring Ricardo as our wedding planner was by far the BEST investment we made for our wedding. His services were worth every dollar we spent, I can say our wedding was perfect because of him. We have zero regrets about hiring Moi Chic!

From our first meeting with Ricardo, we were blown away by his attentiveness, professionalism, and knowledge. We met with a bunch of planners but he was the only one we felt an instant connection to and felt comfortable with right away. We knew from the start we were in good hands.

Since it was a destination wedding, we needed a lot of help with the venue and vendors but Ricardo made everything easy.

We quickly learned to trust his years of experience. He knows what he is doing. His talent and knowledge is invaluable. Every vendor he recommended was easy, fun, and great to work with.

On our wedding day, we felt like guests, not hosts, and were blown away by how everything came together. Ricardo was impressive and an absolute professional. We could have never had the wedding of our dreams without him. We enjoyed working with him and would recommend him with no hesitation.

Magical Moment

I hired Ricardo for full wedding planning services, and I truly can’t recommend him enough! Planning a destination wedding can feel daunting and overwhelming, but with Ricardo’s help, the entire process was absolutely seamless. From the very beginning, he made my husband and I feel completely at ease, and it was immediately clear how deeply he understands the wedding industry and how connected he is to vendors.

I worked with Ricardo for over a year, and throughout the year he guided us with spot-on recommendations and was always available to answer my questions (and I had many!). Ricardo eased every concern I had leading up to the wedding, and on the actual day, he and his team made it possible for me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I didn’t stress or worry about a single thing because they handled absolutely everything flawlessly behind the scenes.

Our Favorite Day

Ricardo is truly the best wedding planner I could have asked for. Flawless!!

Memorable. Magical. Beautiful. Seamless. Picture perfect. Just some words to describe our wedding day thanks to Ricardo and Moi Chic. From the first planning meeting to the execution - Ricardo is great at what he does. He pulled off an absolutely flawless event, but at the same time was a pleasure to work with, accommodating and accessible and made sure that planning was stress-free for us.
He kept our budget in mind and was able to produce an event that seemed to have no budget.
He has great relationships with many excellent vendors in PR and so he was able to give us honest appraisals for all the people we chose to be a part of our special day. We trusted him and you should too!

Hiring Ricardo as our wedding planner was hands down the best decision we made. The wedding planning experience completely shifted from being chaotic and overwhelming to becoming fun coming up with ideas that Ricardo was able to bring to reality. His creativity and incredible ideas made everything come together in ways I never imagined possible. His network of trusted vendors—people he’s worked with personally—was a game changer. Every vendor he recommended turned out to be amazing!

Ricardo communicated with us regularly throughout the planning process, so we always felt in the loop. When it came to the day of the event and inevitably something out of everyone’s control happened (rain!), Ricardo was quick to action. Our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside last minute, but he kept me calm and reassured me it would still be beautiful. I trusted him and he was absolutely right! The indoor ceremony turned out even better than I could have hoped for.

Throughout the day, Ricardo kept everything running smoothly, managing the schedule, and ensuring all the vendors were on track, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The Best Wedding Planner for our Destination Wedding!!!

If you’re planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, look no further than Ricardo. Ricardo’s kindness, expertise, and attention to detail make him a one-of-a-kind wedding planner who leaves no stone unturned. From the very start, he offered an invaluable sense of reassurance, working closely with us to craft every detail of our wedding despite our distance and my initial worries about planning from afar.

On our wedding day, a sudden downpour hit just as the outdoor ceremony was set to begin. I was devastated, thinking my dream beach wedding was ruined. But Ricardo, with his calm demeanor and expertise, already had a backup plan in place. Within minutes, he coordinated his team to move everything to a beautifully decorated covered terrace with sweeping ocean views.

Thanks to Ricardo’s incredible foresight, our wedding day turned out to be even more beautiful and intimate than we’d imagined. Ricardo was an absolute DREAM to work with!! From our very first interaction, he was on top of absolutely everything. Best Decision Ever

Title says it all. Ricardo was our second attempt at using a wedding planner and while we were so nervous after our first experience, hiring him was the best decision we made for our big day. Ricardo is not only extremely experienced, he had so many great ideas and insights I never would have thought of, was impeccably organized and on top of everything, and also very reachable, with super smooth communication the entire time. Huge bonus, and something really important to us, is that he’s an awesome person all around and so fun to work with. He made a process that could have been easily stressful completely stress-free and we are so grateful. Our wedding (and our welcome party which he also helped us with) was absolute perfection and it truly ended up being one of the best weeks of our lives. 10000/10 recommend.

Preeminent Wedding Planner

We couldn’t have possibly pulled off our dream destination wedding without Ricardo and his team. From our first call with Ricardo, we knew we had to hire him. His level of detail and passion for his work was clear to us. Throughout the process, Ricardo kept us on track. Whether deciding on vendors or important significant dates that needed items completed. Ricardo walked us through vendors he recommended and facilitated meet and greets. This was instrument in helping us select who we would hire. Ricardo also created a budget and kept this in mind as we made decisions on who we would hire. Ricardo guided us as he had worked with many vendors and had intimate knowledge of their quality of work. It helped us feel comfortable making these hires, knowing Ricardo had previously worked with many vendors.

During the months leading up to the wedding, Ricardo kept things light and ensured we enjoyed the process. We did not feel stressed, as Ricardo assured us things were on track. Ricardo used cloud-based tools to share docs with us and online Zoom meetings. These tools made it easier for us to collaborate and be in the loop with any changes to docs.

The day before the wedding, we met with Ricardo to review any last-minute details. We had flown into Puerto Rico from San Francisco, and Ricardo assured us that everything was taken care of. We threw a slight curve ball at Ricardo with changes to the seating chart. Ricardo still managed to reprint the seating chart in time for the wedding. Ricardo had previously provided a detailed itinerary for the day of the wedding. We knew exactly what was going on at every part of the day. Ricardo and the team kept everything on track, and everything flowed as planned. We couldn’t have pictured a more perfect ceremony and reception. Ricardo took our vision of what we wanted and brought it to life. Every detail was spot on. Ricardo and his assistant (Denisse) ensured that any need we had was attended to. From bringing us water before the ceremony, making sure we ate, enjoyed our wedding cake, and just having fun. They both had great energy and were very professional at the same time, managing to feel like they were part of our family. We would wholeheartedly recommend Moi Chic Event Planner to anyone looking for help planning any event. Ricardo will forever be a part of our family as he really pulled off a sensational destination wedding for us.

Wedding Planner Elite

Ricardo was our wedding planner for our 5/5/23 wedding. When I tell you that this man is a magician it is not an exaggeration. He planned our entire wedding in a crunched tight timeline. We waited too long to hire him and had only 4 months to plan and he nailed it. He gave us the most magical, beautiful wedding. Firstly, he is such a sweet person, kind, personable, and hilarious. He is on it, He was always on time to appointments, organized, and prepared. He was on top of all the vendors. He recommended the best vendors. His roster of vendors is absolutely impressive and everyone he recommended was 100 percent the right choice everything from hair and makeup to photography and décor. Ricardo solved all my issues within minutes, the day before the wedding I had to cancel my hair blow out, nail and Pedi appointment. I was frustrated and felt like I was stressed out trying to make appointments, I told Ricardo about it and within minutes he had me and my two sisters booked for blow outs at the blow, had nail and Pedi appointments for me and my husband (within minutes no more than like 5 mins). He’s a magician, his network of professionals is impressive. That’s exactly what I needed, when you hire Ricardo you’re not only hiring him for his amazing party planning services, you’re hiring someone who’s going to be prepared when you are not. You’re hiring someone who has all the connection and pulls favors and does the impossible for his clients. You’re hiring someone who will put your best interest first before everything. My husband forgot a pocket square, Ricardo was prepared. We forgot a card box, Ricardo had the cutest card bag. He is amazing and I will say you will adore Ricardo; he is an amazing person and his skills are top tier. Don't Hesitate- RICARDO was invaluable to our wedding day!

I've had such a hard time writing this review because it's truly hard to put into words everything Ricardo did to make our 'dream wedding' come to life.

I was planning a destination wedding and I was trying to hire vendors in Puerto Rico via phone and email from Chicago. After about 2 months of struggling to hire vendors, I decided to look for a planner which is how I found Ricardo. From our first conversation, Ricardo made me feel important and heard- he was very easy to work with and I felt an immediate chemistry with him. He understood my vision & budget and worked with us to offer vendor recommendations and made phone calls and emails on our behalf. I truly felt like he made an effort to understand what I wanted.
when our wedding went from the expected 60 guests to 30 Ricardo helped us make adjustments to our wedding plans to accommodate for the smaller group, I never worried about things after hiring Moi Chic, and our wedding was perfect. Ricardo executed EVERYTHING I asked for perfectly. it was beyond anything I imagines and it truly exceeded my expectations. I am a bit of a control freak and he remembered EVERY little thing I asked for and went ABOVE and beyond to deliver. From placing my veil perfectly in my hair to cleaning up our reception, he was there for us and anything we needed.

But the biggest and more unexpected outcome of hiring Ricardo is I felt like I now have another friend. As a Bride wedding planning can be stressful and Ricardo listened to me vent, sent me funny memes, and just felt like having a good friend by my side.

A lot of women 'grieve' their wedding being over but I was just sad I didn't have a reason to bug Ricardo anymore ;) He truly made this experience stress-free, and I just wish I would have hired him sooner.

Dream Indian wedding in Puerto Rico

Where to start! As a half Puerto Rican / half-Indian I had a vision of doing an Indian wedding in Puerto Rico. I talked to so many wedding planners, but felt like most of them weren’t listening to what I wanted or that I was just one wedding in a long list of weddings they would do. When I met Ricardo, we immediately had a connection. He spent a long time just listening to my vision, and by the end of our call he was helping me come up with ideas, giving me suggestions, while also sounding so excited by the opportunity.

I was so worried about doing a destination Indian wedding – I have a demanding job and knew I’d need to find a wedding planner that I could trust because there was no way I’d be able to handle all the details. Ricardo was exactly that and more. We did a 3-day 140 person Indian wedding including mehendi, Sangeet, Baraat, ceremony, and reception. While not Indian himself, Ricardo did so much research to make sure he was prepped for every consultation and asked questions to make sure I hadn’t forgotten any detail and that he understood every part of the process

Ricardo helped me find top-notch vendors at reasonable prices who are smart, experienced, and enthusiastic. He coordinated a pre-trip wedding for us to meet and greet all of our vendors and go over our vision so that we were all on the same page. He even helped me bring to life my ideas that he had never done before (e.g., working with local shops to get vouchers that we could include in all the welcome bags). Ricardo adapted to my working style – he worked around my schedule to set up consultations. He was available by text, email, or zoom. He would send me photos / sources of inspiration to help me make decisions. When I was feeling overwhelmed, he was able to sense it and would lean in to helped me make decisions.

We ended up having to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. It was an incredibly difficult and hard decision, but Ricardo helped me think through all of our options. We thought about hiring testers on site, getting masks, and scaling down the guest list. When we ended up rescheduling, he drafted the email for me to send to all my guests and worked with all the vendors to find a new date. The whole process, was seamless. When my original wedding date came around, Ricardo sent me a puzzle in the mail so that I would have something to keep my mind off the fact that we had to reschedule. It was so sweet and thoughtful.

The day of the wedding, Ricardo was calm, cool, and collected. When our priest had last minute changes, he accommodated the adjustments with ease. He gave me the space to actually enjoy my wedding and even surprised me with custom Indian menus he had printed for our reception. I remember walking into the rooms for the Sangeet and Reception and being so overwhelmed with feelings of happiness. You spend so long planning for one day, and to have all of it come to life, felt so magical.

Our wedding ran on time, the food was excellent, and our guests danced their heads off. Ricardo served so many roles for my wedding – he was my planner, my advocate, and my friend. He was such an integral part of the planning process that by the end of the wedding, my parents felt like he was part of the family and we still keep in touch.

Stop thinking about who you should hire and just pick Ricardo. You wont regret it.

Ricardo and his team made our wedding the event of a lifetime.

From our initial consultation, Moi Chic stood out from other wedding planners in the area because he truly listened to our vision and went above and beyond to make things happen no matter the ask or circumstance.

Throughout the planning process, so many unexpected things were thrown our way like a global pandemic and our original wedding venue closing, but Ricardo persevered and helped us create something even more magical than our original plan. Our guests cannot stop raving about our wedding, saying it was not only the best wedding they’ve ever been to, but the best event they had ever been to, all while sticking to a modest budget. He had creative ideas and an incredible network of vendors to make everything happen, and a sharp eye for detail which made everything flawless.

Aside from being such an incredible wedding planner, Ricardo is a very kind human being who we enjoyed working with for almost three years of wedding planning due to covid. He sent us handmade bride and groom masks in the height of the pandemic with a handwritten note, and on the wedding day, he surprised us with a private car for my new husband and I to ride home from the venue from, along with a videographer who was trying to build his portfolio for free. He helped my mom bustle my wedding gown and stood in the pouring rain to hold an umbrella for me before I walked down the aisle. We had the best time working with him and feel grateful to have found him. Our wedding was absolutely incredible and we have him and his team to thank for everything.

Cuando mi hermana se casó, fui testigo del trabajo de Ricardo y los vendors con los que usualmente el trabaja. An Unforgettable Wedding

Our love for Ricardo after the spell that he put on us is overflowing. This man has gained a spot in our hearts and we want him to stay in our lives forever. I cannot express the gratitude that we feel to have been blessed with having Ricardo coordinate our wedding. We are not easy people to please and we knew Ricardo was the one since the moment we met him. The attention to detail, the patience, the skill to manage a situation when emotions are running high (especially during a global pandemic) is pure art. Ricardo got us through the postponing due to the pandemic and he did not miss a beat. We always had access to him, even indulged us in late night calls when we were bouncing ideas back and forth. Hice contrato con Ricardo un poco más de un año antes de la boda. El profesionalismo con el cual el trabajo superó todas mis expectativas. Él estuvo pendiente hasta del mínimo detalle para que todo quedara perfecto. El día de la boda el y sus ayudantes hicieron que todo fuera tal y como estaba planificado, no falló nada, todo fue a la hora indicada y esto dio como resultado que la actividad fuera un éxito. Muy importante que el trato de Ricardo hacia los invitados fue muy cordial y respetuoso. Sus suplidores son excelentes.

Contratar a Ricardo Diaz de Moi Chic Events fue la mejor decisión que mi esposo y yo pudimos tomar. Su atención a cada detalle fue lo que hizo que nuestra boda quedara mejor de lo que esperamos. En ningún momento nos sentimos solos, siempre estuvo ahí para guiarnos, nos ayudaba a tomar decisiones correctas y nos seleccionaba los mejores suplidores. El día del evento NO sentimos ningún tipo de tensión ni nervios ya que el y su grupo de trabajo hicieron que nos sintiéramos confiados. Definitivamente recomiendo a Ricardo y su staff para coordinar cualquier tipo de evento.

I met Ricardo Díaz at a wedding exposition. Since the beginning he demostrated to be trustful and responsible. Because of this I hire to be my wedding planner and I was not dissapointed. Living in D.C. and planning a destination wedding is not easy. We tried doing it our selves at the beginning, but soon realized we need some serious help. We interviewed different wedding and event planners, but to be honest... they all seemed to be wanting to sell me on what they thought was the perfect wedding and on how they envisioned it (very pushy), vice listening to what my wife and I wanted. Not Moi Chic... from our initial interview with Moi Chic we knew he was the one. He listened to all our want's and needs, and when I say he delivered... HE DELIVERED. This guy is full of energy and his personality is like no other. He knows everyone and everyone knows him! Anything you need, any questions you have (I had some random ones), he has you covered! He was always going above and beyond, and we much appreciated everything he did for us. Being an active duty Marine, and me needing structure and order...lol :), he sure had me at ease and made our wedding day a day we will never forget. Take my recommendation.... GO WITH MOI CHIC WEDDING AND EVENT PLANNER.... you won't be disappointed!

Contratar a Ricardo fue la mejor decisión que mi esposo y yo tomamos para que coordinara nuestra boda. Más que un coordinador de bodas, durante el proceso de planificación se convirtió en un amigo que nos ayudó y orientó en todo momento. Soy perfeccionista y quería que mi boda fuera lo más "stress free" posible, pero es sumamente difícil cuando quieres que todo salga tal como planificaste... Sin embargo, el día de mi boda estaba súper relajada porque le había dejado todo a manos de Ricardo y confiaba en su talento. Y así mismo fue, todo quedó de ensueño! Ricardo mantuvo todo organizado y todo el protocolo no se salió de las horas estipuladas. Hace excelente trabajo, siempre está disponible para escucharte cuando estás bajo mucho estrés y siempre tiene un consejo para que la boda quede espectacular. Le sugiero el trabajo de Ricardo a todas las parejas que quieran una boda espectacular y "stress free".

I had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico and I couldn't go to PR until a week before the wedding. However, communication with Ricardo was easy by phone, email, media, texts ect. He always was accessible, easy to contact and responded quickly. He is perfectionist, detail oriented, and helped me find the best vendors according to my budget and preferences. Ricardo is very punctual, responsible and has a great experience in this field. My wedding was like a dream!! His staff treated my husband and I like royalty the day of the wedding. We enjoyed the party so much! Many of my guests from outside of PR told me that it was the best wedding they have ever been and this wouldn't be possible without Ricardo's help. I highly recommend him as a wedding planner. I felt very comfortable working with him and trusting him was our best decision.

When we started planning the wedding of our dreams we immediately knew we were going to need a lot of help. We wanted to get married in Puerto Rico and have a wedding to remember but we were dealing with time zone differences and having really never planned anything before it was a daunting task.

In comes Ricardo Diaz from Moi Chic Wedding & Event Planning and the idea of having a beautiful wedding seemed doable. We were even so excited about the idea of having someone helping us along the way that we decided we wanted to follow our heart and make this a memorable wedding by making it a Star Wars themed wedding.

When we told Ricardo the idea he was elated and assured us that if there was anyone who could handle a themed wedding it would be him, and that's exactly what happened. He made himself available at all times, worked around my time zone and work hours. He put together the most respectable and amazing team all to make our day a perfect one.

When the week of the wedding came and all the stress that weddings have came he was there always with positive text messages, and making sure I was never anxious or nervous about anything. Even the day before the wedding he was saving me by taking care of last minute details I wanted.

On our wedding day I was worry free and the happiest bride you could ever see. He had everything planned perfectly, was attentive and had an amazing staff that would show up with water, drinks and food out of nowhere. They tell you won't get to eat at your wedding, well that was not true I ate everything because Ricardo and his staff where there every step of the way.

In the end the wedding was a success, people I didn't even know where sharing our wedding pictures and commenting about the awesome Star Wars wedding that happened in Puerto Rico. We are beyond grateful with Ricardo and his team and would recommend him to anyone who wants to see the wedding of their dreams come true.

Planning a wedding is not easy as may people think. We spent a a lot of time doing research to select the coordinator that fits with our requests. We first met with tree others very well known coordinators in Puerto Rico, we just were not satisfied and comfortable with any of them. Then we met Ricardo. I need to clarify that some of the wedding planners proposals were lower in terms of money than the Ricardo's proposal. He is stricted, organized and very detailed oriented. We had the idea of what we want based on our dreams and he exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was PERFECT and we felt like QUEEN and KING! The wedding ran smoothly which was the most important think. I had the best vendors and it was because of Ricardo. He has quality services for his clients. I'm so happy to have had him as our wedding planner and I will recommend him to anyone. We worked together for a year and I think I have made a friend. Wow! Words can't describe how amazing Ricardo's service was! He is a MUST have in any wedding. Ricardo was so crucial during the wedding planning process. He helped me find all the vendors I needed at the price I could afford. He was kind, very attentive to details and helped me with the little details that I didn't even know existed. During the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything he knew exactly what my husband H and I wanted and made sure it was taken care of. We didn't worry about anything and I trusted him. His staff during the wedding treated me like a princess and were so sweet and professional. Brides to be, you must contract this guy! He is the best! I cannot thank Ricardo enough for helping me create, step by step, such a beautiful wedding and reception! My wedding was in PR, but I planned all of it from the US. Ricardo was patient, diligent and organized throughout the whole process and, most importantly, helped easy my nerves as the wedding day approached. He was very knowledgeable about the options for decoration, music, food and entertainment and made suggestions that made my Puerto Rican wedding a success! Hire Ricardo to coordinate your wedding, whether you already live in Puerto Rico or it is a destination wedding: you'll be grateful that you did! Without Ricardo, we couldn't have prepared our wedding the way we imagined it. He contacted his highly-experienced suppliers immediately and offered us good options according to our taste and budget. Ricardo focuses on understanding and satisfying the taste and preferences of the couple. His vast experience is reflected in his wise suggestions. Since I had a clear vision for my wedding, he transmitted my wishes (improved by his ideas) to the suppliers with such clarity that they translated everything into reality with ease. Any minor changes in details were artfully handled by Ricardo and the suppliers graciously provided what was requested. I believe this is so because he has developed a strong relationship with the suppliers he trusts. Also, Ricardo immediately responded to a last-minute crisis and aside from calming my emotions down, he sought the required assistance. There are no words to describe how amazing is, working with Ricardo. A lot of people have told me how stressful planing a wedding is. Let me tell you that is NOT the case if you hire Ricardo. He is so professional, with such a great work ethic. I felt so comfortable with him that I dint have any problem giving him authority to make decisions on anything that didn't affect the budget. Of course he always calls and gives feedback. I didn't have any issues at all, the vendors that he recommended were really professional as well. My family and I didn't have any stress the day of the wedding thanks to him and I think that's unheard of. If you want to have a perfect wedding, you MUST hire Ricardo as your wedding planner. Working with this vendor was an ease and a convenience as we planned our grand day. He was responsible, commited, detailed-oriented and very creative. He is resourceful and up-to date on the latest wedding trends. His team was also great to work with. I would recommend him for any couple.

Moi Chic Wedding and Event Planning, through it's wedding coordinator, Ricardo Díaz, was the best decision we made in the planning of our wedding. Mr. Díaz's professionalism, experience and attention to detail made our whole experience a very memorable one. Nothing went undone. He not only cares about the coordinating, he cares about the couple. Mr. Díaz posed not only as out coordinator, he also functioned as our guide and, at times, psychologists throughout the decision making process that requires event planning. He is very skillful and knowledgeable in the event planning business. He has meticulously chosen his work crew which provides for a more professional environment that results in them feeling like family. They were all kind, caring and thoughtful the day of our event. Soñaba con el día de mi boda y que cuando llegara ese gran día, en el que uniera mi vida a la de mi pareja, pudiera compartir con quienes son importantes en mi vida y que todo quedara perfecto. Sola no hubiese podido hacerlo jamás. Sin la ayuda de Ricardo Díaz y Moi Chic Wedding and Event Planner no hubiera podido decir hoy que todo quedó justo como lo había soñado. Contar con un grupo de profesionales que me liberaron del stress de la planificación de mi boda, llevando mis ideas a la realidad, estando presente en todo momento, fue imprescindible para que ese día fuera uno de los mas hermosos de mi vida. Fungió más allá que un coordinador de bodas, ya que lo sentí como un amigo pendiente a todos los detalles hasta el último momento. Mis invitados no podian estar mas contentos; y yo feliz y sobretodo tranquila, porque Moi Chic Wedding and Event Planner se encargó de todo. No podía pedir mas! Simplemente perfecto!
