If you're looking for a photographer, your search is over! We used Modern Image Studios and requested John Kalad to photograph our wedding. John made everyone so comfortable and natural. He truly captured everyone's personality through candid photos, and executed beautifully posed photos. He captured our vision perfectly (even though we had a difficult time explaining exactly what we wanted). Photos aside, John's humor and personality was the life of the party! We highly, highly recommend John!!

We are so thrilled we chose Modern Images for our wedding photography! Our photographer, Vlad, captured beautiful and creative pictures. He was enthusiastic about taking the perfect shot and did a great job of directing group photos. We also loved the photo booth that came as part of our photography package. It was open-air and there were a variety of props included. We received our photos less than a month after the wedding and are so happy how they turned out!

We used Modern Image studios for our photographer and videographer. Both were great and extremely friendly. We were able to pick our photographer based on his portfolio and meet him beforehand. Our photographer, Vlad, was very energetic and captured great images. Working with Kelly and Anna was a pleasure. They were extremly accommodating to any requests/concerns and responded to all questions/emails in a time sensitive manner. We received our wedding album and it turned out great! Would highly recommend Modern Image Studios!

We got married on April 11, 2015 and had Abel for our Photographer. We had him do our Engagement Photos back in October and were excited when we saw them and new that we were in good hands for our wedding. The day of the wedding Abel was both professional and personal and made us and the wedding party and guests very comfortable. Abel was so friendly and outgoing and his photographs were beautiful. Nick was our videographer and he did an awesome job. The staff at the studio was friendly and always answered any questions as quick as possible. Would highly, recommend Abel to anyone looking for a photographer.

Couldn't be more happy with how Modern Image conducts business. From start to finish, Modern Image was very easy to get in contact with and even made some last minute changes to our contract no problem. We picked our own photographer at our initial meeting with Gerry, who was amazing, and their in-house studio was great as well. Our photographer Joe N was top-notch, very professional the whole day and was so positive. We also used Brian as our videographer, he and Joe both called the week of to finalize plans and reassure us that the day will go well. We can't wait to see our pictures and would recommend Modern Image to anyone. Thanks again!

Modern image staff were very kind and enjoyable to work with. They were attentive to things we cared about throughout the whole process. They had great communication with us throughout the planning, which was comforting! Everything turned out wonderful! Our flowers were beautiful and unique. We had a great experience with Modern Studio. After searching around a bit, we realized it wasn't easy finding a wedding photog on a tight budget. Our friends recommended this company. After meeting with them and perusing some of the work, we were sold.

At the wedding, we heard nothing but praise for our wonderful photographer Michael. He was so wonderful working around the room and providing exactly what we asked for. He captured every important moment and was so friendly and personable at the same time. We would definitely recommend this company.

We had the most amazing photographer (Bridget) and videographer (Brian) for our wedding. Bridget and Brian were so amazing to work with and did a great job of making sure to capture all of the moments we wanted. We also had so much fun working with them. It was super easy to work with them and we gave both of them flexibility to be as creative as possible so we would get the best pictures of our wedding day.

The responsiveness of those working in the office at Modern Wedding is also fantastic. They are all very quick to respond to emails or phone calls and always willing to help. We had some challenges with the website form at first but got it all fixed and it worked out fine.

I can't wait to see our pictures and video, but I am not worried as we had the best team would could have asked for.

I would highly recommend Modern Image. I have worked with them as both a member of the wedding party and as the Bride. Both times the photographers were professional, timely, and of the highest quality. The turnaround time from event to finished product was always faster than expected and the format of files makes it easy to download, save, share, and print pictures. The admin team is also super helpful and understanding of budget, deadlines, and the process that goes into planning the perfect day. The opportunity to work with the same photographer for both the engagement shoot and the wedding is something that I loved and made us feel so comfortable! We have already recommended Modern Image Studios to friends planning their wedding in the Chicago area and will continue to do so for years to come. Definitely a top notch organization worthy of all the accolades they have received!

When I initially started my search for a photographer/videographer I was taken back by how expensive everything was! Quite honestly I initially picked Modern Image because their prices were really reasonable AND I was able to get a copy of all the pictures rather than being tied to printing only through the company which can become really expensive! I did like the style of the photographer but was even more impressed after I received my pictures. Wow they were all amazing. I have SO many GREAT pictures to choose from. USE JULIE VALKANET!!! She is so wonderful!!

My husband and I were married on May 25th, 2014 in downtown Chicago. Our ceremony was at Wrigley Square (in Millennium Park) and our reception was at Untitled in River North. Modern Image did an AMAZING job with our photos and video. They were extremely professional, yet casual enough to make the day comfortable and fun! We didn't feel like we were constantly posing for pictures and got a good variety of candid and set up shots. They were so flexible and let us do our thing with site selection (all across downtown) but were also there to provide input and an artistic touch to give us an overall phenomenal finished product. We could not have been happier - great service, great value, amazing quality, and extremely professional and fun.

Vlad performed photography for our wedding and we could not have been happier! He did an amazing job making is feel relaxed and we enjoyed the pictures he took. He gave instruction but we still felt like they were very natural pictures. He felt like part of our family that day and I am so excited to see final results!

I used Modern Images for my Photos, Video, and Flowers. Jeff Owen is just amazing. He was so fun. I loved every minute of taking pictures. Nicole our Videographer was just as amazing. Super sweet. At one point we had to walk through the woods to get to where I wanted to take pictures because Busse Woods was sooo crowded, however, they helped me accomplish what I wanted. I cannot wait to see the amazing photos and video! Also Joe the florist was pretty awesome. It was kind of hard to get in contact with him a few times, but he made up for it when I called the night before at 11pm and he answered his phone to be sure everything was correct. I could not have asked for better service or team from Modern Image Studios. Thank you guys!

So much fun to work with! Jeff was awesome (photographer) and Brian too (videographer). We had two intern photographers who were great as well. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Price was reasonable, they were very flexible, and very professional. Every minute of the day was made fun and they made us feel real comfortable. Loved them from start to finish!

I got married on Saturday and used Modern Image as my photography company. I liked their prompt responses from the get go and their prices were great! I loved being able to go into the studio and viewing sample photos from different photographers. The staff has always been helpful and kind and very professional. My photographer Paige and i spoke several times before my wedding and i was able to send her all the ideas i had and we seemed to click very well. She arrived on time and was very open and bubbly. I did not feel like i had to correct her and she let us use a lot of our own ideas as well as hers. She did great with time, and was very kind to all our guests, she fit right in! While i have not seen my images yet have had friends used this company and i loved their pictures, and they got them very promptly, some even within a week! I cant wait to see my wedding pictures, and I'm so glad i chose Modern Image!

I would absolutely refer Modern Images to any couple getting married. We used them for our engagement photos, wedding photos, and videography. Our photographer was Bridget for both occasions and she was amazing!! Brian was our videographer and he was great. We could have not asked for more. The staff at Modern Image Studios was great! They were quick to answer any questions my husband and I had prior to our big day. The prices for our package was decent and lower than any of the other studios we researched. They gave us a wait time of about 3 weeks for our photos to come back after the wedding and they were right. We didn't have to wait any longer and they truly turned out spectacular. They are such a warm and welcoming staff that each have a passion for the work they do. Our photographers, Steve and Roman, were amazing! I had such a great experience using Modern Image Studios. We worked with Jeff for our engagement pictures as well as our wedding photos. He was so fun, and professional! He instantly had us laughing and comfortable my husband and I really felt like we had a personal connection with him. The pictures are beautiful and we have a wide variety for photos. The editing was beautiful and really brought out the best with his use of angles. I received an e-mail from David's Bridal advertising this company. When I contacted them, they were very nice and answered all of my questions. I had e-mailed our photographer pics from other weddings that were taken at our wedding/reception location that I wanted our photographer to take of us and he remembered these shots and tried to capture them for us. On the day of my wedding, he was professional and on time, and was quite nice. In comparision to the other photogs that we had researched, this company was very affordable!!! This was my second wedding and we didn't want a large package, so I liked that they had a smaller, more afforable package to choose from. The only drawback was that their office was not open on weekends via phone, but I received e-mail responses within 24 hours answering my questions.

This review is LONGGGGGGGGGGGG OVERDUE!!!!!!!!... This will be my SECOND review for the lovely people at Modern Image Studios (Chicago AND Downers Grove). My wife and I got married 11/4/2011. Gerry, Meg, Jessica and Kyle W. were THE GREATEST!.... After searching and searching, interviewing and reviewing other photographers we decided to go with Modern Image. The initial consultation with Gerry made us feel VERY comfortable and at home (Very nice décor). We viewed actual albums as well as several photographer's works. We chose Kyle W. for his clean eye and diversity of shots, we immediately put down our deposit.

A couple of days before the event we went over the day with Kyle. The day of, he showed up ON TIME and well dressed. He shot the girls then us as planned. During the services, he was "out-of-the-way". Didn't disturb the services and was very accommodating (which the Pastor loved). We left the church, hustled to the reception site and again he pretty much blended in with everything and everyone. He suggested a couple of shots on the roof of the Hotel (one of the shots was chosen to participate in a sweepstake). I even used the photo in making our 1 year anniversary gift to my wife.

All of the shots turned out wonderful. We had a hard time deciding on which ones to include in the album. Our parents even received mini albums with our package and our mothers loved them.... If I had to do it again (which I hope is NEVER). But IF I had to would go with Modern Image in A HEARTBEAT!.

Photography was the hardest company to choose from. Everyone shows you amazing photos and you can only hope yours look just as good. When it came to photos I was extremely careful about who I picked because that is one thing you will never be able to go back and undo. To dislike your wedding photos would be awful. After careful consideration I chose Modern Image Studios - With Joe Nowak as our photographer. When I first saw my pictures - I was speechless. Every picture looked like it was in a magazine. He was fast, efficient and took all of my suggestions and concerns into consideration on our wedding day. He is young and knew what I meant when I said, "I want fun/modern poses." A lot of my friends have already written down his name for when they get married. He did an AWESOME job and I couldn't have asked for anything more. If you are looking for a photographer who is fast/good at thinking of poses/ and takes awesome ones Joe is the guy for you. Modern Image as a company was also very easy to work with and communicating. I always was able to get my questions answered in a reasonable time. I am happy that I chose Modern Image!

I have professionally worked with Modern Images for years and I knew on my big day, they were the team for me. From the fabulous pricing to the quality you get for it, there is no need to look any further.
Going through the experience firsthand, I saw again just how wonderful they really are. The in studio meeting was great. We saw a few photographers they thought met my style and they were right, Doru is just such a gem, a creative extreme talent! Kelly is so prompt, personable and fun to work with and once contracted, Meg was a rock star making sure all was perfect for my big day. I sent a few schedules in addition to their very detailed online pre-event survey and she graciously accepted them and answered any last minute questions.
I am so excited to see what the photographs and video turn out like. Thank you truly to everyone on my Modern Images team! We will be working together for many years to come.

The best investment you can make is a videographer for your wedding day. I was a very frugal bride and went back and forth quite a bit about not having one.... WORTH EVERY PENNY FROM MODERN IMAGE STUDIOS. They work with you and find out EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT and customize it for you. Very affordable compared to other quality work... Nicole was my videographer and the work she captured was great. Everything I told her that was important she got it. Its wonderful to have this to look back on... pictures are worth a thousand words but VIDEO... its everything. Seeing my husbands face as I walked up the aisle, my grandmother tear up, us cut our cake, toasts and my father daughter dance are the moments that after a while you tend to forget bits a pieces... with a video- u never forget. THANK YOU!!!!

Phenomenal people. Talented artists. Responsive to bride and family requests and made the day MORE fun! The product they captured was completely stunning and I am a photographer and artist myself - very picky client! They're stepping in to save the day for my sister's wedding in December as her originally contracted photographer got aggressive, pushy and wanted to raise prices on product before the wedding ever happened despite a contract already being in place. We used Modern Image Studios for both our photography and videography, and we could not be more happy with our choices! Meg, our client account manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. The week of our wedding, both of our photographers (we had two, Brian and Bryan) called us to check in. On the day of our wedding, they were great from the moment they arrived. They made the whole wedding party feel extremely comfortable; they were very professional but also very friendly and fun. They took tons of candid photos (which was what we wanted), but they also did an awesome job with our posed group shots -- we had accounted for an hour and a half of photos following our ceremony, and they got all the shots we wanted in less than an hour so that we could enjoy cocktail hour! Our photos turned out BEAUTIFULLY. They look professional, but more importantly, they really captured the love and fun of our wedding! They also gave us over 1600 photos to choose from!!

Our videographer, Jim, was also great -- he was extremely friendly and professional, and our guests all noted that they didn't even know he was there (he wasn't in the way or obnoxious like you sometimes see at weddings). We couldn't wait to see the finished product, and we were scheduled to get our video back at the end of September (3 months after our wedding). We ended up getting it back in mid-July! We could not be happier with the finished product -- the shots were incredibly clear, and he captured all the important details of our wedding. The editing was fantastic, too. The video is almost two hours -- about 45 minutes of getting ready, ceremony, and photoshoot, and the rest of the reception, which was exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Modern Image Studio and would highly recommend their videography and photography services to anyone!

Hands down ONE OF THE BEST!!! I cannot say one thing that is not FABULOUS about this company. The office staff is prompt, professional, delightful to deal with and always keeps you informed of what is going on and when. Then, our photographer, Brian Powers, was nothing short of amazing. He is creative and energetic. He was smiling the entire day and night and actually seemed to be having fun at our reception. I have seen so many photographers at weddings looking like they just had to be there and were just working, very much like an outsider. Brian looked like he was having a blast, enjoyed taking pictures for us and was there at every turn to get all the pictures we wanted. Brian also made everyone feel comfortable in the bridal party and none of our pictures felt stiff. Our parents commented throughout the entire night how great he was and we couldn't agree more. I received a coupon from David's Bridal for Modern Image Studios and originally I had checked into other photographers. They match your personality with the photography style that you like. We worked with Jeff Owens. He was so nice very professional funny and very easy to get a hold of. I am very happy we chose MIS. I was bit nervous at first but then the reviews made me feel a bit more comfortable. I also had my best friends husband taking candid shots so this helped and Jeff was okay with that. I definitely recommend Modern Image Studio very reliable.

I absolutly loved our photographer!! She was so nice, fun, laid back. She didn't bother me at all! She did everything I asked her to do! She was like a close friend the whole time!! I wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else!

I was so pleased with the pictures. Jeff was our photographer. He was friendly and efficient. The has a great mix of the traditional shots and the creative shots. I thought the price for the 10 hours of photography and the digital images was very fair. I've yet to decide on an album (or to make my own). The have three types of albums - all are beautiful, but of course I like the most expensive one. The prices are comparable to (or cheaper than!) other photographers. Most excitingly, when we got we got home from the honeymoon they had made a slide show of photos that told the story of our wedding. It's on the blog (Dana and James) and the perfect thing to show friends instead of looking thru 1300 images! They also put those images at the front of the images online so even without the slide show people still see "the best of the best" first, then can look thru them all. (I'm not sure if they always make a slide show or not, it wasn't in the contract) They surpassed all of the dates with getting the photos online and providing us the disk of all the photos.

We were very pleased with our photographer (Jeff) and the pictures he took. He was great with our flower girl and ring bearer! We were amazed at all of the photos he took during the service and can't figure out how he got around so quickly without distracting from the service.

Everyone at Modern Image Studios (MIS) was easy to work with. I was an out-of-town bride, and the consultant was very flexible and met us after hours. Every time I called MIS, I received quick and responsive service. The videographer really worked hard to get so many great shots. I don't think he sat down all night! And the final product really showed how hard he worked. We love our video! Thank you!

I don't normally post reviews or share personal events on the web. However, we had incredible service with our wedding photographer. Read on...

My fiance and I (now wife) were researching & planning the classic, big catholic wedding. Choosing the right photographer was the biggest challenge. Every one had friends, "of friends", that were photographers. Many didn't return calls, were to "artistic", too expensive, or just rude on the phone. We read a review for Modern Image and contacted the Downers Grove office (yes, they have an office and promptly answer phones!). From the first meeting & all follow-up communications, the overall experience was courteous, helpful, and professional.

The photographer we selected (Claudiu) worked out extremely well. He was on-time, creative, and very accommodating. His approach & demeanor throughout the pre-wedding, wedding, & reception was discreet. We received numerous comments on the natural quality of his photographs. They all appeared candid & not staged (insert bride/groom here pics). After reviewing the pics, my wife & I commented numerous times "wow, I didn't know he took that pic". He caught all the special moments via the lens.

I hope you find this review helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful & you hope for good customer service. Our experience with Modern Image was great!

We used Modern Image for our 10/8 wedding and loved them!!! From the beginning they were very helpful answering all of our questions and helping us fill out our time lines. I loved the photographers and the videographer. They were very fun to work with. We had Wes, Jeremy and Alan. I cannot wait to see the pictures and video. Although I dont think I got all the pictures I wanted, I dont think it was due to them. I think I got so caught up in the day, I forgot got about a few things. They really helped in coming up with creative poses and making sure all the big things were done. Thank you Modern Image for making my wedding a hit!

I chose to go with Modern Image Studios for both our wedding photography and videography. I made this decision after meeting with the team and noticing how all the office staff was very helpful from the time we walked in and knowledgeable on the latest trends and technology which made me feel comfortable right away since I was planning my wedding out of state. I decided to go with Joe and Bridget and they were fabulous! They were extremely helpful and creative with facilitating and taking pictures downtown Chicago, at the ceremony and reception. They absolutely went above and beyond their duties and even helped us plan out the transportation and logistics for the day since they were such seasoned professionals and knew exactly how long it would get to and from our hotel to the best photo shoot locals to the venue. Thank you Joe and Bridget! Shortly after our wedding we received a very exciting email that had a video montage of our day. This unexpected and exciting gift was so wonderful to watch and share with all of our family and friends. The video staff were extremely patient, since I may have been a little late getting ready and instead took that time to get some really great footage of my shoes and dress. They were also very energetic trying to get every shot, we can’t wait to see our wedding video and how the whole day played out and all of the amazing highlights.

I got the idea to use Modern Image because my sister got married and used them and her pictures turned out absolutely stunning. For my wedding, I was once again blown away!! We had two photographers at the reception and they captured everything! I highly recommend using Jeff Owen, he captured beautiful pictures that were very natural, and when we weren't sure how to pose, he gave us some great ideas! We also got a videographer and our wedding DVD will be cherished for a lifetime!! The customer service was great, even when emailing, I always got a response back right away and never felt like any of my questions were stupid. They gave us first class treatment and our wedding went off without a hitch. The pictures looked like they were right out of a bridal magazine and each picture was different from the next. I would highly recommend Modern Image to everyone!!!

A friend of mine used modern image studios for her wedding. I absolutely loved her wedding album. When I began the search for a photographer/ videographer for my wedding she referred me to them. I owe her big!!

They did such a great job on my wedding photos. The photographer captured the big moments and the little ones that made our special day complete. I have received numerous compliments on how creative and beautiful my photos are. The color is vivid and the lighting was perfect.

Modern Image coveniently offers photography and videography. I don't understand why some brides chose not to get the videography. My wedding took months to plan but the day came and went in a second!! When it was over I wish I could relive the day just one more time. Well with the video I can relive it any time I want. My videographer caught moments I didnt even remember!

The photographer and videographer from modern image studios made my wedding day UNFORGETABLE!!

My husband and I could not be happier with the service we received from Modern Image Studios. What's great about Modern Image Studios is that they really take the time to sit down with you and let you do the talking. There is no sales pitch involved. During our first meeting with our coordinator at MIS we were able to watch a slideshow of several of the phtographers work - DURING OUR FIRST MEETING! Another photography company we met with tried to pick our photograher for us and a week after our initial meeting sent us "our" photographers portfolio which I was not impressed with. With MIS, you get to see several photographers portfolios before you even sign a contract. They also emailed us the slideshow so we could take some time at home to really look through the pictures. Each photographers work was amazing. It was actually hard to choose but we picked Wes because he fit the style of photography we were looking for. After that, the process was very easy and everyone at MIS was extremely helpful in coordinating our day of service. Wes was absolutely fantastic! He was professional, extremely creative with the surroundings he had, gives detailed direction on posing, and most of all - he was super fun to work with! Once the day was over and we received our proofs about a month later I was beyond amazed at how they turned out. There were over 1,000 photos and every single one was gorgeous. It was exactly what I wanted. I'm glad to know that Wes really cared about our vision for our photos. I love the fact that you can easily send the link of of the online photo storage to friends and family for them to order pictures from. Also, once the prints are up they also send you a CD with all your digital prints. They even put together a slideshow of our pictures for us which was amazing. Great pricing, great service, great photographers. What more could you ask for?

I couldn't be happier with my experience using Modern Image Studios. I had Julie as my photographer and she took beautiful pictures. I definitely recommend her if you are looking for photos that have a cinematic elegance to them! I cannot tell you how many times I have been complimented on my photos. Everyone in the office at Modern Image Studios was always so helpful and accommodating. I just received my album and cannot wait to show my friends and family! I’m writing reviews on every possible website as we had THE BEST experience with Modern Image. The staff is extremely helpful and asked a lot of great questions to prepare for the big day. We had Jeff O. as our photographer (main), Bethany (2nd photog at reception) and Jim as our videographer. They were all very professional and accommodating. Jeff was our best friend by the end of the night and we wanted him to stay and hang out! Modern Image is extremely affordable for high quality work and the team is amazing to work with. Highly recommended!!! The best part, we had a link to a sneak peak of some images set in a slideshow by the time we returned from our honeymoon! Our photographers were incredible. They were so friendly and easy to work with and really had an amazing eye for fantastic shots. You definitely get your money's worth and the photos are to die for. I was very impressed with Modern Image Studios!! We had Jeff O. and Jason T. for our photography and Joe S. for our video. They were all very professional and they were laid back and goofy when they needed to be. They worked with us to make sure that we got the shots that we wanted and they asked us questions, didn't just didn't take charge. They all were early (bring the bride of course I was late and they were waiting for me) and they were watching the weather since we were hovering a storm. Our family and friends loved them. Once the ceremony and reception started they just blended in, you could barely tell they were there. If you wanted to have a picture with your high school friends, I looked for the bald head (sorry Jeff) and I asked him if he could take a picture and he smiled and took it. While we were taking the before pics Jeff let me look at the ones on his camera and I thought that was great!! We couldn't have asked for more and we could have gotten nicer guys!!! I appreciated the hard work they did and I would recommend them to anyone getting married!!

From the booking time to the actual wedding date, I was happy with Modern Image Studios. Everything went very smoothly. The company was willing to negotiate some services and products for a reasonable price. Our photographer was with us for 12 hours the entire day and was unbelievable. He has recently left MIS and opened his own company, so I won't mention his name here. The pictures we have seen so far are of amazing quality and we can't wait to start putting an album together!

Modern Images has been great so far! Pics posted to their website a few days sooner than promised with the exception of the portrait photos due to vacations - no big deal. Photos came out so beautiful! Wes was our photographer - he was wonderful! He made taking the pics fun and not a chore. He somehow managed to get all of the great shots of all dancing at the wedding no matter how embarrassing for some they might be lol :P He helped bring back some wonderful memories of our wedding day. Thank you Wes and Modern Image Studios! Now we have the hardest decisions to make our wedding album. Will keep you posted on how the album turns out. but Modern Image Studios gets a thumbs up from me and my husband.

We used Modern Image Studios out of Downers Grove, and they were very quick to respond and never let us down. We had an engagement session with our package so we were able to see how well we meshed with Matt Dinerstein before the actual wedding day.
The wedding pictures are amazing thanks to Matt. We are very excited to see our photo album all put together by Modern Image and would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone in search of great wedding photography. You will not be disappointed.

Modern Image Studios did a great job. We went with the company for our photography, videography, and the photo booth. All three areas exceeded our expectations. The photographer was there for eleven hours. The videographer for nine hours and the photo booth attendant was there for three hours. The proofs we've seen so far are phenomenal and we had the photo booth scrapbook instantly. I'd recommend Modern Image Studios to anyone who really values photos.

Jeff was the BEST photographer ever. We had so much fun with him. He was professinal and really kept things moving along. He kept the mood light and was very flexible and easy to work with. I would recommend him to ANYONE. His pictures are beautiful that he takes. Just an amazing photographer.

Alan was our videographer and he did an excellent job. Everything turned out wonderful!!1 Both of these guys are very talented in what they do! I would choose them over anyone else!

Wow where shall I start??? They were AMAZING and saved our butts after we were going to go with one photography place that was a disaster and found them last minute! They were able to work with our situation, our budget, our needs, and our crazy work schedules!!! We had John Straus and he was amazing!!!! The contact with us before the wedding was super! He made sure to fit in our families demanding list of pictures with a time limit and all our photos are highest quality and gorgeous! You could frame like all of them! The album is to die for and we even got one of the basic ones and just added pages!! I get so many compliments on our photos and wedding album!! He even threw in an extra photographer last minute as a gift!! I love how they let you select the photos that go in your wedding album and we let them rearrange and blow up what they felt, but you dont have to do it that way, they listen and work with you!!! They are always super good at responding right away!! If you want fantastic pictures and a quality stress free place to work with you can depend on, book with them!!

The entire crew at Modern Image in Lombard, IL were very helpful and they quickly responded to all my questions throughout our engagement. Jeff Owen is the BEST photographer there. In our search for a wedding photographer and videographer, we met with
six different studios. Modern Image Studios was by far the best, as
far as quality of work and professionalism. We initially met with
someone who gave us a run-through of Modern Image and what they offer.
The packages were very reasonable considering everything that was
included. The edited wedding videos were beyond anything I had ever
dreamed could be done!! We looked at albums of various photographers
and it was difficult to choose which photographer we wanted because
they were all so great!! We chose Rachel Revor Owen's because of her
attention to detail and amazingly creative shots. We could not have
been happier. Rachel gave us the idea of doing our engagement shoot
at Navy Pier. The photos were fun with an urban twist. The morning
of our wedding, Rachel had to deal with a nervous bride and she really
helped to calm me down during the photos at our hotel room. EVERYONE
loved her. My bridesmaids and groomsmen thought she was sweet and
funny. Many people asked us what studio she was with. She really did
a great job of handling our bridal party of 9 bridesmaids, 9
groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and a ring bearer, not to mention our HUGE
families she took pictures of!! After the formal shots in the church
and the fun ones at our photo shoot, I barely noticed that pictures
were being taken because Rachel did a great job of taking the
in-action shots. We saw a few of the photos and they are fabulous!
We can't wait to see the rest. We also can't wait to see the video.
Lynn, our videographer, was also great!! I would highly, highly
recommend Rachel and Lynn at Modern Image Studios. Two fantastic
ladies!!!

We used Modern Images for our wedding photographer/videographer this July 2010. I am convinced there is no better company to work with then Modern Images!! I spent months researching websites, going to bridal shows and getting recommendations from other brides. In the end I was most impressed with Modern Images and actually recommended two other couples who have since used and loved their services as well. We got the best personal service from Kelly in the office who is SO on top of her emails its amazing! We used Tim for our photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding day (We love you Tim!!!). We also hired on a second photographer for the reception portion of our wedding day at a great price due to our wedding size. We also had a videographer who surprisingly asked and brought along an intern for the day at no cost to us which was AWESOME. We had 4 people shooting our day and for the BEST price around! We got a great deal and Kelly helped us customize our package to suit us best. We purchased our wedding album through Modern Images and got a free gift of choice along with our package. I loved Modern Image Studios and will definitely be recommending them to others in the future!!

Modern Image did a great job. Had some issues with our original photographer but they let us change with no problem. Very responsive, GREAT album selection, and very competitive prices.

I am extremely pleased with our photos and video from our wedding! Both men where extremely professional and helpful and wanted us to be happy. I would recommend them and this studio to anyone! The pictures turned out beautiful and the video is priceless! The studio's staff was extremely helpful with any questions and you work closely with your chosen photo and video people. The work and professionalism was outstanding!

We used Modern Image Studios for our engagement session, wedding photography, and wedding videography. I highly recommend Modern Image Studios! Our enagement pictures turned out wonderful and our wedding photos even better. We had Jeff Owens for photography at our wedding and Brian (sorry Brian I can't remember your last name) for videography. I can't tell you how wonderful they both were and helpful throughout the wedding day. Both arrived early and ready to work. I had a bridal party of 24 people including the flower girls and ring bearers and very limited amount of time for pictures as I had the reception immediatley following the church ceremony. That didn't stop Jeff and Brian from remembering everyone's name and getting over 1200 photos throughout the day. I also rec'd my wedding video within a week when I thought it was supposed to take up to 90 days. I have been very pleased and so happy with the service quality and result! It was also very nice having the videographer and photographer from the same company. They didn't compete with one or other, didn't step on each others toes, and worked really well together. I am so happy with Modern Image Studios and have become a client for life. I can't wait till we have children because Modern Image Studios is going to see even more of us! WE LOVE WES!!!! From the first consult we knew Wes was the guy for our wedding! He kept everyone laughing and made the nervousness of the day go away! The pcitures came out beautiful for our day and we recieved a TON of compliements on our photographer, Wes as well. If you're looking for a great photographer and someone who will capture everything you're looking for, AND makes you laugh in the process, than Wes is your guy! :)
Maodern Image studios is by far the best photography vendor we've seen! We will be seeing them when we start a family to help us capture our future as well!

We LOVED MIS!!! We had Wes Craft as our photographer, he took amazing photos. We also had Alan Whitney as our videographer. We should receive our video in 2 months, so we haven't seen that yet, but Alan was very professional and added a lot of creativity to the day. Very excited to see it! At the office we worked with Kelly Morel and she was fantastic. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and took ample time to explain all of our options for the photos and video. She has made the whole process very easy. I would like to point out that Modern Image used to charge extra for digital negatives, but this is no longer the case. We received our photos online 2 weeks after the wedding and digital negatives in the mail 3 weeks after. We are putting all our photos together to submit for our album and can't wait to see it. You absolutely can't go wrong with Modern Image. They are very professional and worth every penny :)

Our photographer Rachel was in touch with us throughout the wedding planning process. Our photography package included a local engagement session, and we easily set that up with Rachel. She took charge during the photo shoot but asked us what our wishes were. She captured each moment beautifully. We didn't meet our videographer Brian until our wedding day, but he had been in touch by phone ahead of time. He gave us some great ideas, like having the mother of the bride sitting near the dance floor during the father/daughter dance for a great family shot. My father told me after the wedding weekend that Brian went around to various guests during the cocktail hour asking them to say a few well-wishes for the camera. We thought that was very special, and we'll have it recorded for posterity.

We only paid $1400 for an amazing wedding video. Our videographer was at there for 8 hours and captured every great moment of the day. Our video had a photo montage of my husband and I when we were little, and was set to the music of our choice. We only had to visit the studio once for the initial appointment, and the rest was done by phone/mail. Our wedding video is the best of seen and the price was quite reasonable.

Modern Image photograpghy is the best photography. The pictures were awesome and the people were very funny, professional and out going. Our pictures were posted online after a week and our video was done in a month.

Brian was such a great videographer at our wedding because he stayed completely out of everyone's way and yet still did his job. He was there for every important event of the day and made sure he checked with me before he left to make sure there was nothing else I wanted shot. I was so impressed with how professional he was, and yet he was laid back and fun all day. I cannot wait to see the finished product, but I know it will turn out great because I can tell he paid such attention to detail. He was by the placecard table rearranging the placecards everytime someone took one to make sure they were all lined up nicely on the table. Thats something I would do!

Modern Image Studios was a great find. They are reasonable, responsive and GREEN!

We worked with John Straus and Jeff for our wedding and they were fantastic. The "formal" pictures were a lot of fun because they got into the spirit of the day and really picked-up on our personalities and ran with it. The pictures are beautiful and fun - and they were available very quickly after the wedding.

Our photographer and videographer were awesome! They both went above and beyond to make our day about us.. we asked for more action shots and Brian certainly did that! The spontaneous shots were gorgeous and just breathtaking.. Thank you modern image for your great work!

We had our photography and videography services through Modern Image. We chose Jeff Owen right away when we went in for our initial meeting because his portfolio is amazing! We were right in choosing Jeff. He was fantastic and flexible from our engagement session to our wedding. We had specific pictures we wanted and he made sure to get them all. He didn't hesitate in taking charge of our group and making sure that everyone was comfortable. Everyone was asking what company he was from because everyone wants to use him!! I would recommend Modern Image and Jeff to anyone having a wedding or special event!

Finally had a chance to go through our wedding photos, and I could not be any happier with them! I worked with Vlad and Christine, and both were able to get some amazing photos! They were also very nice to work with day of, very professional and calm. They got a lot of great candids and were able to direct us and our bridal party into poses that looked natural and photographed well.

We also booked a package where we got a free photo booth which was a huge hit and a lot of fun. All the photo booth pictures were included in the digital file we were given with our edited photos, and they include a lot of gems.

Our wedding was in September 2013. We went with a middle package, which did not allow much customization or allow us to select our photographer. Within 3 months of the wedding we were assigned Vlad as our photographer. He met with us at coffee shop and went over the important parts of the wedding that we wanted to focus on. He was great, the entire experience from start to finish was a great experience and we were very happy with the outcome. A year later I followed up with Gerry on putting together some portraits and wedding album, again the service and professionalism was exceptional. Alec even hand delivered my portraits to my work. Would recommend this vendor for anyone in the future.

Modern Wedding Solutions did a wonderful job! Jeff Owen was our main photographer and he was so fun to work with. Everyone had a blast taking pictures, even three children, ages four and under. Modern Image captured some of the very best moments from our wedding and it has been so fun to go back and look at all the photos, over 1800! We had a very difficult time choosing for our wedding album because we had so many favorites. I would highly recommend this company to any couple looking for fun, romantic pictures. We have so many pictures laughing and smiling at each other (bride and groom) and its amazing how they get these shots. We were very pleased with Modern Wedding Solutions.

Modern Image offered great prices and packages for photography, but if I were to do it all over again, I would spend the extra money to choose my photographer. The one we ended up with was not matched to the style I wanted like they said they would. He did a lot more posing and not as much photojournalism. His portfolio was really nice and I'm sure the pictures will turn out great, but not quite what we wanted. Spend the couple hundred extra so you know who you're getting!

We had Bridget as our Photographer. She did a great job on our engagement pictures and we look forward to seeing our wedding pictures. We also had the photo booth through modern image which is always a nice bonus to the wedding. We were somewhat rushed on our wedding day and I am unsure of how many individual bride/groom pics we got or how many pics of just the 2 of us. I wish I had made a list of pictures I had wanted other then family pictures just to have kept track.
The only real issue we had was that with the photo booth, we were not aware that the memory book and attendant for the book were all different fees. We found out 3 days before the wedding all of this information, which was a aggravating.
In the end it all worked out, and we look forward to seeing the final pictures!

We absolutely loved working with Julie of Modern Image! She was outgoing and fun, so it was easy to relax in front of the camera with her. She took loads of shots, and made sure we got evertything we wanted before we moved on to the next location. When we went to our outdoor shoot, she got shot after shot of the group and my husband and I, and really got creative with the backdrops and setup of the shots. She found tons of great places to get pictures, and was with us the whole way making sure we got all of the most important moments captured on film. She was prompt and prepared, making sure to perfect the ceremony lighting well before the guests arrived, and even had a pretty hanger in her bag for my dress when I had forgotten one for photos!

We liked Modern image studios , however, the photographer on our wedding day could done better job as to take more variety of pictures and especially fun pictures. I felt like I had to tell him what to do and I didn't because I was too busy that day and thought he knows better.. big regret!

However, Modern image studios are great to work with. We are still waiting on our video so cant comment on that yet.

We booked with Modern Image Studios a year prior to our wedding. We had a fantastic photographer and videographer. I would highly recommend Wes Craft and our videographer Nicole to any bride and groom looking for amazing quality of work! Both of them were professional and did a great job.
