Marianne was by far the best wedding planner ever. I could go on and on, but to put it simply: I want to plan another event just to work with her again! From day one, she was on top of everything—answering all my questions, managing every detail, and making sure absolutely nothing fell through the cracks. She truly made the wedding of my dreams come to life. At the wedding, she and her team were amazing—always present, always helpful, and ready to handle anything I needed (even all my silly questions). She connected me with the best vendors and gave me thoughtful advice that made the whole experience even more magical. Thanks to Marianne, I was able to relax, soak it all in, and enjoy every single moment of the planning process and the big day itself. Not only is she a phenomenal planner, but she’s also a genuinely kind and wonderful person. I’m endlessly grateful for her and would choose her again a hundred times over!

Marianne and Riley were the BEST coordinators and decorators! I didn’t have to do a single thing when I was there, they just made sure I got to soak up my special day😊 they made everything so beautiful and stress free! I couldn’t imagine doing it without them, they became an important piece to the best day ever!! -

A Dream Come True
Maryanne was my saving grace when it came to my wedding. I tried to “save the money” and not hire a planner. I learned really quick on how much work went into planning a wedding and I wasn’t getting anywhere. Everything I wanted or saw was out of my budget and I was so overwhelmed. I decided to hire Maryanne because I knew I couldn’t do it on my own. And am I so glad I did. Maryanne went above and beyond on everything she did. She not only helped me stay in my budget, but also helped me find the perfect vendors and every little detail that came along with it. On the day of, she was working her magic! I don’t even remember one thing that went wrong! And I know that is unheard of because I’ve heard the horror stories about vendors not showing up, things breaking, or cakes falling over. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner and anyone would be lucky to have her. I am forever grateful for Marianne and her daughter Riley. -

From the first day we spoke with Marianne on the phone, she showed a lot of professionalism and interest in her work. She was always aware of every detail, we started planning the wedding with only two months. My wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Marianne and Riley were there for me every moment, making me feel beautiful and comfortable at all times. They were also aware of each of our guests, I did not have to worry about anything that day. My bouquet was beautiful, I can't describe it. All the decoration was wonderful with every detail as I dreamed. Ricky and I couldn't be happier and more pleased with the work of Mlj Event. -

We hired Marianne and her team as our day-of coordinator, and it was the epitome of money well spent. Not only did she take so much stress off of our shoulders during the planning, but she made our day absolutely perfect. She was always happy to thoroughly answer my questions. Honestly, the day of she did way more than I expected too. She did a beautiful job putting the decorations together and setting up! We are so grateful to have met her and have been able to work with her. Choose MLJ and thank me later! -

Best wedding planner ever!!
Marianne is the absolute best wedding planner! We had to postpone because of Covid , and Marianne contacted all the vendors and took care of all the details. She put us in touch with all the vendors who were wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough of MLJ & her assistant Brittany. They made the wedding planning and day of the wedding stress free. Marianne has an eye for colors and design and helped guide us on all the wedding décor. Best wedding planner around! You wont regret using this company!! -

Marianne and her team were absolutely AMAZING! Brittney and Riley were the coordinators at our wedding and they knocked it out of the park. I seriously wouldn't have been able to make it work without them - everything was flawless! They made the entire process as easy as possible for me and were super responsive to any questions I had. Seriously, I cannot thank them enough. 100% recommend! Marianne, Brittney and Riley -- THANK YOU for everything! You made our day a lot better than I could've ever imagine. -

Best of the best!!
Marianne was the best thing we spent money on for the wedding hands down!! From our first meeting with her all the way up to the day of, she was always one step ahead and on top of everything. I am someone who is terrible at making choices and had no idea where to start with anything for planning but Marianne really took the lead and my vision and turned it into the most beautiful reality!! She made great suggestions for vendors, she had amazing ideas for decorations and florals, and above all she was so much fun and easy to work with. Marianne and team really gave me and my husband our dream wedding and none of it would have happened without her there! I would definitely recommend MLJ Event Planner to anyone for their planner!! -

I worked with Marianne in October 2019 at my wedding in Aubrey, TX as my day of coordinator (which is really like a month-of). What a delight to do so! She is fun to talk to, and from our first interaction over the phone to our first time meeting in person, I really had a sense that she “gets me.”
She is not only highly experienced, but such a hard worker; she went above and beyond on my wedding day. For example, my mom did all of the flowers (no small feat for 150 person wedding) and Marianne was boots-on-the-ground. My mom was running out of time, and Marianne did the flower decor on the stairs herself, and it looked SO GOOD. Some of my favorite photos from the reception were taken on the staircase because of her decor! Above and beyond.
I highly recommend Marianne, I couldn’t possibly see how you’d regret it. -

Marianne gets it done!
I had a very specific idea of what I wanted my wedding to look like: Elegant, Bright, Timeless and Romantic! Marianne executed my dream PERFECTLY and she did it with a smile. Her connections alone are enough of a reason to choose her and she helped save us so much money in the long run. She did every job well and getting her as my wedding planner was absolutely worth every penny! Having no stress at all, knowing she had it all under control was what made my wedding absolutely perfect and her attention to detail/amazing design was just the cherry on top. Love her. -

Marianne and her crew at MLJ Event Planner helped to make my wedding run so perfect and smoothly! She was there every step of the way and handled everything amazingly. With so much going on while planning a wedding, Marianne made sure to make my life easier by doing so many things for me and making sure the vendors were prepared. I was unsure to hire a wedding planner at first, but now I stress to everyone who is getting married that they NEED one and they NEED MLJ! I cannot image doing it all without her. Besides marrying my husband, MLJ was the best decision I had made for my wedding! -

Marianne, being the profesional and outstanding event planner that she is, made one of my most important days a dream come true! I trusted her with everything and that was truly the best decision I made. She saw my vision like no one else did and brought it to life. Definitely not demanding but rather honest and genuine about everything. She truly loves what she does and that’s what played a huge part into making my wedding day as perfect as can be. She’s passionate and cares. I remember her texting me a week prior to my wedding day with count downs each day and being just as excited and involved emotionally and physically and it really meant a lot to me! It showed how much she cared and valued my wedding day. She knows a lot of people and referred us to a great catering company, bakery, florist etc. -
