Exactly what I wanted in a wedding photographer!
It was such a joy working with Natalie for my wedding! From our very first meeting, I knew that she was easy to get along with, would make me feel comfortable on my big day, and would be able to capture my wedding in the way I envisioned. She was very accommodating and willing to work with me throughout my engagement period to plan the details for my event. I'm absolutely in love with my pictures and will cherish them forever! All my bridal party agreed, Natalie was on top of it at the wedding, capturing both posed and candid moments. All in all, Mist of Morning was exactly what I wanted in a wedding photographer! -

Without a doubt, Natalie was the best 'purchase' of our wedding. We hummed and hawwed for months about whether or not to get a photographer - everyone has an iPhone right? They take pretty good shots. And a photographer makes up a significant portion of the budget. We were so very wrong on all counts. Every time I look through both our engagement shoot, and our wedding, I get teary. She has managed to capture the very essense of us, our emotions, our personalities and all of the special moments that made up the day. In the end we asked everyone to put away their phones and let Natalie and her amazing co-pilot husband Conor, do their work. Which they did beautifully.
Natalie is an NYU trained photographer - her photographs are a mixture of fine art, portrait and breathtaking scenic shots. There's no WAY you can capture the heart of a day without a professional, and even some of those don't manage to get it right. Natalie does it all with a laugh, a smile, and an ability to make everyone feel at ease. Nearly every one of our guests commented on how much they liked our photographer - she made them feel at ease and was never intrusive or rude, like many photographers can be to guests. On this point, it was also important to us that we got shots of everyone having fun at the wedding - we didn't want to end up with 800 photos of just the two of us, like so many portfolio wedding albums we saw. Natalie and Conor made sure that they covered everything - we have photos of all of our loved ones enjoying themselves. We love it!
Finally, in terms of support, Natalie is incredibly responsive, able to work to both a time-line and a direction, and her edits are speedy and beautiful. We made a life-long friend in Natalie and know that we will be hiring her again to capture all of life's most important moments. We cannot thank, or recommend her enough. Now, stop debating and get in touch with her! It'll be the best and easiest wedding decision you've made. -

Mist of Morning Photography was the perfect vendor for us. She and her husband took breathtaking engagement and wedding photos of us. We met with Natalie and Conor at our venue to discuss what we envisioned for our wedding and pictures. We also made a list of exactly what we wanted, and we got all of those pictures. Each picture we have is beautiful and brings out the personality of each person. Something important to note is that Natalie is very patient and works with the other vendors for the wedding. We had a videographer as well, and they worked together to get the right shots and angles that each other needed.
No tension or stress. I highly recommend Mist of Morning Photography and I believe they are worth the value. -

My wife and I were completely blown away by the work and services Natalie performed for our wedding.
Her attention to detail and dedication were evident from our first conversation through to her delivery of our final prints.
She incredibly captured moments that we were hoping for as well some that were completely surprising; a delightful bonus! The photos she took will be treasured by us and our families for the rest of our lives. Natalie is an amazing photographer as well as a fantastic person who exceed our expectations and delivered a beautiful and truly priceless gift to us. We are so grateful to her. I recommend her in the strongest of terms, you won't regret it. -

Fantastic Experience
Natalie and Conor are both incredible people and incredible artists, and we are so glad we chose them to capture our wedding day.
They are organized and on top of things, capable of both wrangling a crowd but also capturing the unplanned moments without ever getting in the way. They created a comfortable environment for us—enough to take these two camera-shy people out of our shells entirely—and the final images we received are even better than we ever could have imagined.
Long story short, Mist of Morning blew us away with their skill and professionally, and we can't imagine having had anybody else to shoot our special day.

Brittany Sent on 06/01/2018Natalie has an eye for beauty, light, and capturing the most ephemeral moments of tenderness. During our engagement shoot and wedding, we felt so comfortable knowing that Natalie and Conor (her husband, and second shooter) were photographing us. Both of them are incredibly fun to work with, and as a couple they are pretty much the cutest :) You can tell that they love each other so much, which is really helpful for shooting other couples in love!!
Although I have only seen the full album from our engagement shoot at the Washington Park Arboretum, I am certain that our wedding photos will be even more beautiful and magical!! Natalie sent some preview pictures of our wedding that my husband and I really can't stop sharing...with literally everyone. Every time I receive a preview photo from her, it's like receiving another wedding present! :D
Natalie knows exactly how to make a couple look naturally in love instead of awkwardly in love, although I'm fairly certain she caught some cute awkward ones of us during the wedding, too :P. Throughout both sessions, she provided clear instruction on how to pose, where to place hands, etc. when we weren't sure. She and Conor were able to document even the most minute details throughout the day, while also capturing big, emotional moments with relative ease. My family members even commented how Natalie was here, there, and everywhere(!) without being obstructive of the ceremony or any part of the wedding.
All of Natalie's photos also have an interesting editing style that I would describe as delicate and airy, with artistic earthy tones. I fell in love with the style when I was first looking at her work. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that she uses both film and digital to produce photos, which gives her work a unique flair!
I am recommending Mist of Morning to all of my friends for their photography needs. We definitely hope to work with Natalie and Conor again!! -

Kelsey Sent on 04/04/2018The dynamic duo! Natalie & Conor are the perfect couple to capture your perfect day. They are 100% flexible as wedding days can be kind of chaotic. I'm so glad that I booked them to photograph our wedding, they captured so many great photos that we're have a hard time choosing which photos to post on social media, we'll probably post all of them haha! Our wedding was outdoors which meant that Natalie & Conor had to deal with whatever weather and lighting was thrown at them. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would book them in a heartbeat. -

Natalie is a warm and thoughtful person - always attentive and professional. Her joyful spirit also adds great energy. The photos captured our intimate outdoor wedding quite well with amazing attention to detail, beautiful use of light, and a great amount emotional candid shots. I was more interested in the photos preserving the feelings of that day, rather than making everything look "perfect", and I strongly believe Mist of Morning was the best choice for that! I would 100% recommend Mist of Morning to everyone.

Jodie Sent on 09/26/2017We had a small city hall ceremony in NY and Natalie accompanied us and our small party o 8 throughout the morning. She was the most accommodating and patient photographer possible, not to mention the photos that came out were my absolute favourites. She was always open to photo ideas, combinations of people we wanted to shoot, specific settings, and always took the time to straighten up suits, make sure we were standing the right way, and capturing the right light and angles. It's not always easy amidst the madness and people of city hall, but Natalie is always calm, composed and most of all positive and energetic!
I would recommend her for your special day without hesitation - she is not only a wonderful, positive energy but also a talented photographer who has the innate ability to capture natural, warm and special moments.
