  AMAZING! A month later people are still tlking about the band and how awesome they were! People were literally danicing the whole night!!! I dont think the dance floor was ever empty!! They had everyone and I mean everyone up and dancing! They sang such a good variety of music! Ralph and Wilma are awesome, super responsive and very flexible on what they will sing! They did such an outstanding job! I could not have asked for anthing else!such and amazing and talented group of musicans!

  Well this review has certainly been a long time coming but with a wedding, honeymoon, and the holidays, my mind and body have been pulled across various states and continents. That still provides little excuse as to why this review was not done earlier as Mirage Music provided my wife and I with an experience that will last a lifetime.
  
  From the moment we contacted Tony, the professionalism and passion for music was apparent as the conversation was open and easy. Obviously you have that initial introduction of questions that must be dealt with i.e. What are you looking for?, What type of crowd will make up your reception?
  
  Fortunately, we were able to witness the band's talents first hand at a wedding reception a year prior to our event, but the band does have a website with live performances to get a sampling of what they bring to the table. After the "technical" aspects were out of the way, my wife was able to speak with Wilma in order to finalize the first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son choices. We provided a detailed list of songs we wanted the band to touch on but their expertise really shined through when Mirage began playing songs that I never thought of including which ended up being huge hits with our guests.
  
  Now, I must mention that our first dance by Zac Brown Band was very special and unique to us…….as all first dances are right? Well I only say this because during our first dance I leaned in to my wife to ask if the song that was being played was live or from a cd…….it was THAT good.
  
  Mirage seamlessly worked with our other vendors, including our DJ, from beginning to end to make sure we were the ones who mattered. We had a lot of memorable moments that day, but I will never be able to thank the band enough for all that they did……..including making my wife and I look good as guests still talk about the music.

  THANK YOU MIRAGE!!!!! You performed at our wedding on 8-10-12 and I must say that all the guests are still talking about how terrific you sounded. I have just recently received my wedding video and that reminded me to write a review because the video sounds amazing!!!! I am so happy that I have the music on video now to cherish forever.   Absolutely incredible! Wish I could get married all over again just to hear this band play! Really can't say enough about this band. They are so talented and have amazing voices!

  Ralph and the gang had everyone rocking out at our wedding!!! From the slow songs, to the fast songs, and even learning a song for a special anniversay dance for my parents, Mirage sounded better than the original arrists!!! I asked them to learn a song that my dad wrote to my mom when they were dating for a special surprise anniversary dance at our wedding, and they did it with no questions asked. My parents went nuts!!! They have a special ability on reading the crowd and there wasn't a person sitting!!!

The energy that your music gave our guests and the satisfaction on their faces was exactly what we wanted to see from them. People are still asking, who was that band!

  Mirage was fantastic! People were up and dancing all night. Everyone raved about them and we couldn't have been more pleased. They sounded like the original artists of virtually every song they played. They listened to our requests about the music and were so easy to work with. I love, love, love this band and would recommend them to anyone!

  Mirage Music was one of the highlights of our wedding! Worth every penny that we spent. I can't say enough about them. Their service, professionalism, and responsiveness were top notch. The female voices, especially, gave us the chills they were so good! They were extremely pleasant and comfortable to deal with. Their repertoire is huge and very updated...they played everything we requested, from the latest pop songs to the Italian songs (for my husband's side). They followed the crowds reactions for their song choices that night and they were very flexible with all of our requests. Including the request I had to throw in a few Russian songs from a CD that I brought. All in all, our guests raved about them...everyone danced the night away!

  My husband and I hired Mirage Music for our July 10th Italian-American wedding in the Bronx, NY and they were fantastic! Mirage is a 9 person band with two female singers and a few male singers which enables them to sing a wide range of songs/voices and have each song sound as close to the original artist as possible. Many of our guests have been complimenting us on the band and were amazed at how much the band sounded like the original artists of the songs they were singing (i.e., Michael Jackson's Thriller)!
  
  There are a limited number of bands in NYC that sing traditional Italian music as well as popular American music (A Current Affair is another one that is good that my brother-in-law used last year) but we were thrilled with Mirage's performance. Before hiring Mirage, we went to hear them play at their studio in Bayonne, NJ and then went to hear them play at the annual summer Italian Feast of Santa Rosalia in Benshonhurst, Brooklyn. We thought they sounded pretty good in their studio (which is small and loud), but truly got to appreciate their sound and influence over a crowd at the feast. Mirage really sounded great and the entire crowd had a lot of fun getting into their performance... which was no different than how our guests reacted on our actual wedding day. Mirage played music that guests of all ages and nationalities enjoyed (Italian, American, Latin) and everyone was on the dance floor the entire party. Mirage also learned for us our wedding song, Coldplay's "Till Kingdom Come," and our cake cutting song, Cake's "Love You Madly," and played them perfectly!
  
  Also, Wilma and Ralph were our point people and were very responsive to all of our calls and emails, and very easy to work with.
  
  My only criticism is that the band did not play at all while our guests were eating their meals -- they would put on recorded music. It would have been nice if one or two of the band members sang background music while the others ate and then rotate in shifts. So, Mirage played less than we thought they would, but when they did play, we thought they were excellent and we couldn't have been happier.
  
  A band is definitely more expensive than a DJ but Mirage was a very well priced band, and we found that it was worth splurging on the music because, along with food, it is what people remember the most!

  The band is a great Italian american band! We were a little disappointed that no one informed us that one of the band members (reason we booked!) left the band. We found out the day of the wedding. We had even sent emails requesting he sing certain songs. Overall our guests did have a great time and everyone was really nice.
