    Amazing experience!

    Miranda and her team were worth their weight in gold. We used them as month-of coordinators, but she also kept us on track in the 9 or so months along the way with a monthly check in call. She personally knew all the Tahoe vendors which was unbelievably helpful. She helped us think of every detail, but didn't have to think about anything the day of. Highly recommend!!

    Organized and Professional!

    MIRA was the planner for our wedding last July and we're so glad we chose them! We selected the "month of" package, but they still met with us once a month throughout the entire planning process to check in and provide advice. That was so helpful!! The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is incredible - they coordinated with all of our vendors and they're so good at it, we (the bride and groom) don't have to stop to even think about it! Starting at rehearsal and all the way through the wedding, everything ran perfectly. Jennifer was our wedding party liaison and at first I wasn't sure what that really was but MY GOODNESS she was helpful. On the wedding day, she knew what I needed when I needed it. Amazing job to all three women who helped out. We highly recommend MIRA!

    A planner who can do it all!

    Before we sing their praises for the fantastic job they did for us, it’s worth noting that Miranda and her MIRA Wed team were the ONLY Tahoe area planners we reached out to who responded in a timely fashion and who seemed to have a truly professional operation. We went looking for a planner *before* the pandemic started and until we stumbled on MIRA, the best response time we’d gotten was 10 days after our initial inquiry. Nobody wants an unresponsive planner who can’t manage their inbound communications from clients, so that alone is reason enough to choose MIRA!

    But Miranda didn’t just meet our minimum requirements. She rolled with punches in 2020 that none of us saw coming. We had so many questions for her on our planning calls that planners had never had to answer before. Miranda always deferred to what we felt comfortable with, and never lost her sense of humor. We must have reconsidered our guest list 20 times before ultimately deciding that it was safest and fairest to our friends and family for us to turn our wedding into an outdoor elopement instead. We told Miranda we wanted to make it a styled shoot, essentially, and that we still wanted all the lovely touches that a wedding would normally have, but plopped in some pretty outdoor location (where she wouldn’t have the usual advantages for setup and breakdown!).

    From the time we arrived in Tahoe ahead of our elopement, Miranda was communicative and ready to go above and beyond what we’d asked of her, even though what we’d asked was already much more difficult than usual. Because the “off season” in Tahoe never really materialized in 2020, Miranda actually had to scout our location (with our fabulous photographer) on the day of our wedding, to make sure we’d be able to find nearby parking and avoid unwanted interlopers. Folks asking when and where in Tahoe we were getting married were confused when we cheerily replied that we didn’t exactly know, but by that point, we’d learned to trust Miranda and trust the process!

    And, y’all, IT. WAS. PERFECT. I don’t know how to describe it in a way that doesn’t sound super corny, but walking up to our ceremony site was like stepping into a fairytale. It was magical. Miranda did a wonderful job of coordinating with the other vendors and procuring the decor, champagne, and other finishing touches for us. She made sure we didn't have to worry about loading anything in or out, and could just enjoy ourselves. We even asked her to officiate, which she did a beautiful job of. Her team was great, too! The bridal assistant she brought had to hike in step with me while holding my cathedral-length train (at least I could see where I was walking!), but she was so considerate and calming throughout, and was a genuinely delightful addition to our special day.

    We highly recommend MIRA Wed, especially for any couple who wants an exceptional experience beyond what you normally find in Tahoe! And if you're looking for live music, Miranda happens to be very talented at that, too!

    Honestly, what made me decide to have a wedding planner is that I had no clue what to do first about my wedding! I'm so glad I'm working with Miranda and she is taking care of everything, so I don't have to!

    I can't say enough positive things about Miranda and her company. She honestly made our dream wedding come to life. She was there for us throughout the entire process, and went above and beyond our expectations. She took the vision we had and really helped us to create that vision while keeping us sane and on budget. She provided great recommendations for our design and vendors that would fit with our vision, and worked with them to make the day go smoothly.

    Miranda made our wedding day truly amazing. She took care of all of the details, got the vendors set up, problem solved, and kept the day moving how we wanted to. She made us feel very special and important through her attention to detail, her support, and her staff. Miranda isn't just a wedding planner, she is a friend who cares truly cares about her client's happiness.

    I can't recommend her enough!

    ABSOLUTELY the best money ever spent. She handled everything thrown at her, I trust her completely. Her staff was great too. I had Jennifer as my bridal liaison and she was so sweet.

    Where do I even begin or start to describe on how we are so incredibly thankful to have met you? We just had the best day of our lives and this wedding wouldn't have been a smashing success without all the time and energy that you put forth in planning this wedding. I am still receiving multiple compliments days later on how beautiful, fantastically planned this wedding was put together, how seamless and flawless everything went. From all the small details in decorations (which were incredible!!!) to the well-executed timeline of events to the stress-free big day, you made this wedding process and the big day a really great experience. Of all the decisions that I had to make in the past year, you were by far my smartest decision and I am forever grateful to have you as my wedding planner.     I would just like to say that Miranda at Divine Affairs has been nothing but absolutely amazing. I would recommend anyone that is having a wedding/event in calfornia to use her services. She took all my thoughts and ideas and made things work with how i wanted it to. I can't believe how easy and seamless she made everything happen. Living in canada and her in california made no differance. we chatted on the phone and emailed eachother. we even had our own pinterest board that we could post pictures we liked.     Divine Affairs helped us have an incredible wedding.

    My husband and I are both engineers with a poor sense of fashion, so we hired Divine Affairs at the very beginning of the planning process. After getting a sense of our priorities and budget, Miranda would research various vendors and then send us to meet with just a handful that she chose, saving us tons of time. We ended up choosing a vendor in her first batch of picks in all but one case.

    Since we had no interest in decorating, Miranda handled that aspect entirely, and we got tons of positive comments about how nice everything looked -- one aunt said she was "blown away". For things that we did have opinions on, Miranda deferred to us; there was never a sense that she was taking over or trying to just do things her way.

    The result was a wedding that was a lot of fun, beautiful, and yet under budget.

    Highly recommended.

    Working with Miranda to plan our wedding was the best decision we could have made! She was fun, professional, and incredibly helpful through the entire planning process - she helped coordinate details I hadn't even thought to plan, and even helped orchestrate the far-too-many "personal touches" we wanted to make our day special. She was consistently available when I needed her, and sending me gentle reminders of deadlines when I needed them. She took a real, personal interest in our relationship and our wedding, and went above and beyond my expectations to make sure that our wedding was exactly what we could have hoped for. Without her help, I know that things would not have come together as beautifully as they did. She was invaluable, and I would recommend her to anyone planning an event. My only regret is that we didn't find her earlier in the process!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE Miranda!

    About two months before my wedding, Miranda sent me a letter offering to be my wedding coordinator. My initial thought was, nahhh, I can handle it on my own. As my wedding got closer, I realized I was very wrong, I needed help! My wedding was decent size (150 guests), and because we were holding our ceremony and reception at two different venues, I became so stressed with keeping up with all my vendors, due dates, etc. The day I met Miranda, I knew I was very lucky to find her, and I knew immediately, she was the one to help. She right away made me feel comfortable and I could open up to her. My only regret is not finding Miranda sooner. She pulled through and then some.

    Miranda met with me numerous times. Not only did she go with me to many of my appointments, she always made sure I was getting exactly what I had always imagined (making sure each and ever detail was exactly what I wanted). Miranda was able to coordinate and effectively handle all the follow ups and pointed out a lot of details that I had totally either forgotten or not known about. Putting complete control in the hands of a wedding coordinator can be frightening for any bride, but thankfully not for me. I felt confident giving Miranda control; she made me feel completely stress free once I hired her. Now as I look back, I had no idea what I was doing. Miranda helped make my dream wedding come true.

    During our wedding rehearsal, I was very nervous about having to lead and explain to everyone how the ceremony was going to go. As soon as Miranda got there, she thankfully took complete control and made everyone feel relaxed and at ease. The day of our wedding, I was very relaxed knowing Miranda was there to make sure everything went smoothly. What impressed me the most, Miranda was the first one there the day of my wedding, and the last one to leave. She made sure everything was cleaned and packed up before she went home.

    Miranda was very professional, extremely helpful, and so nice throughout the entire process. Many of my guests were so impressed with Miranda, they made a point to tell me how great she was. I also had many of my vendors tell me that she was one of the most professional, helpful, wedding coordinators they have ever worked with.

    Our wedding was a complete success. Most people have told me it's been one of the best weddings they've been to. I'm glad everyone had such a great time and I know it wouldn't have run as smoothly if I hadn't hired Miranda. Weddings require a lot of planning, and as a bride on the big day, my only worry was making sure my hair and makeup looked great.

    Hire Miranda-you won't regret it!

    First and foremost Miranda and team did a great job at making sure I didn't have to worry about any little details on my wedding day! I hired Miranda for "Day of Wedding Coordination" b/c I wanted to wake up and not worry about any setup details of the wedding or reception. She did not disappoint! Miranda is on point, very creative, reacts quickly, and most of all she give you exactly what you asked! She helped me during my crazy rocky situation with my wedding venue but she made sure I stayed on track with the planning process and thought about every little piece that I didn't even think about. Although the rehearsal was a little crazy with our wild wedding party she was able to get one solid walk through which in my book was a success. Miranda had two team members to come get all the decor and one that catered to me the whole time. Talk about amazing! I felt like a queen the whole time. By the end of the night and it was all said and done she told me a few things that happened. Truly everyone did an amazing job, I didn't even care. I'll take my wedding day over anyone's b/c I can honestly say I was able to eat, dance, visit, and enjoy every little piece with the help of Miranda and her team! You're amazing Miranda!!

    Although I did most of the pre-wedding planning, I absolutely depended on Miranda for the month leading up to the wedding and especially the day of. She not only added great ideas and creativity to our vision for the wedding, she executed it flawlessly. And we had some challenges! It was planned to be an outdoor wedding and it rained! She planned contingency plans for both the ceremony and the dinner, merely hours before. She actually completely set up the dinner area under cover and reset it again outdoors once the sun came out. Miranda never lost her cool and was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day and Miranda and her team at Divine Affairs made it stress free and fun.
