I cannot recommend Mindy highly enough!!! From our very first call, we immediately felt at ease with her warm, upbeat personality, it made everything just click. She truly listened, understood exactly what we were looking for, and made the entire planning process feel effortless!
Our engagement shoot was incredible, and we walked away talking nonstop about how much we loved working with her. By the time our wedding day arrived, it genuinely felt like we had a close friend behind the camera. Her calming, fun energy made the whole day run so smoothly, and even our friends and family kept raving about how wonderful she was!
And the photos… absolutely breathtaking. It’s been almost 2.5 years since our wedding, and I still look at them every single week!
If you’re looking for a photographer, stop your search…Mindy is the one! I recommend her with my whole heart and she is a joy to have be part of your big day! -

Mindy and Cam were the most amazing addition to our wedding day - if we could rate them higher than 5 stars, we would! Mindy shot our engagement photos, and she had the most wonderful personality, and the photos were gorgeous, so we knew heading into our wedding that we would be in good hands!
Mindy and her husband arrived early, prepared, and had the best energy all day long! She was incredibly organized with a full shot list - our family photos were so incredibly efficient that we wrapped them up early, she had the inspiration shots I'd sent her at the ready, and she and Cam captured the true essence of our day beautifully.
Mindy and Cam so graciously stayed a few minutes late to ensure photos were taken in my reception dress, and for them to do that meant the world! By the end of the night, we felt like Mindy and Cam were part of the family!
Mindy delivered sneak peak photos so quickly after our wedding and our gallery within her contracted timeline which we so appreciated. We highly recommend and look forward to having Mindy capture our future life events! -

We cannot recommend Mindy + Cameron enough! From our engagement shoot in Mystic to the very last hug on our wedding day, they were absolutely incredible. They took our chaotic Pinterest board dreams and turned them into something even more beautiful than we imagined, capturing every moment in a way that felt effortless, intentional, and so us.
Beyond the stunning photos (which already look magical from the previews), what stood out most was how present, supportive, and calm they were through everything. Rain showers? Racing the clock? Slight chaos? They handled it all with humor, patience, and professionalism, making the day feel seamless while still capturing every real, raw, joyful moment.
Mindy + Cameron are more than photographers - they’re thoughtful, intuitive, and genuinely kind people who make everyone around them feel at ease. I wish there was an option to give Mindy a higher rating than 5 stars! Our experience with Mindy was perfect! I highly recommend her services for both engagement and wedding photography. Mindy provided so many beautiful photos, making it impossible to even select favorites! Mindy has the best personality, so warm and personable, and made us feel comfortable all day!
Mindy was also so helpful with shot lists and timelines, and efficient in organizing each family member into group photos which I really appreciated not having a wedding planner. Mindy had her husband Cam as her second shooter, and the two of them together are such a nice couple and team making sure every special moment was captured.
I am so happy I picked Mindy as my wedding photographer, we are so in love with the photos and can't thank you enough!

Forever Grateful for Mindy :)
Working with Mindy was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. I first reached out to her in May 2024, and from that first conversation to our wedding in November, she was so much more than just a photographer—she became a true friend, steady presence, and an irreplaceable part of the experience.
Mindy made us feel instantly comfortable in front of her lens. Neither my husband nor I are naturally camera-loving people, but she brought out such genuine emotion and ease in us, and it shows in every single image. She captured the details and feelings of our day with such care and precision—moments I didn’t even realize were happening until I saw them in her photos.
She also went above and beyond in ways I never expected. I didn’t have family or a bridal party with me while getting ready, and she was the one who helped me into my dress and assisted with my outfit change before the reception. She kept me calm when I was anxious about the timeline and logistics, and she delivered both our engagement and wedding albums within a day of seeing her—how rare and incredible is that?
Beyond her immense talent, Mindy has become a real friend—whether we’re talking about family, marathon training, splitting time between Hawaii and the East Coast, or sharing stories about our pups. We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Mindy and Cam! From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at ease, and it was clear that they are true professionals. Our engagement photos were absolutely stunning, and we honestly didn’t think we could top them – but then came our wedding photos, and they completely blew us away! The images were not only breathtaking, but they were so beautifully captured that people have been saying they look like they belong in a bridal magazine.

When you book Mindy, you know from her portfolio you will be getting gorgeous photos. She is beyond talented and has such an eye for posing and details. We got our final wedding album from Mindy last week- and all I can say is, if you are thinking of hiring her to do your wedding photos... don't think about it.... do it!!!! Mindy was an absolute delight for our engagement photos (we are not at all used to that type of thing and my husband was v nervous of how it would go) and then her and her husband were an absolute delight to have on our wedding day- we truly had so much fun with them and they were so kind to our family and friends and encouraged everyone to ask them for photos. A week after our wedding we received the most amazing highlights that truly brought tears to my eyes. And then now, the full wedding album is truly a work of art and something we will cherish forever. These photos are so incredible and her thoughtful help and kind smile throughout the day was well worth its weight in gold. THANK YOU MINDY! -

If you are looking for a photographer look no further! The best wedding decision I have made so far is booking Mindy as my photographer. Photography was my top priority for wedding planning and I spent SO much time trying to find the perfect fit. I am so thankful to have found Mindy's Instagram! Mindy made our engagement shoot so comfortable, despite how nervous me and my fiance were going into the shoot. She made it so fun and helped tell us exactly what to do and how to pose. Mindy (and her go-to assistant/husband Cam) were amazing to work with…and also super cute! When I found Mindy on Instagram I loved her fresh and light style. Mindy Briar Photography all the way!!!!
I don’t even know where to begin to praise our experience working with Mindy! From my first point of contact, she was organized, responsive and so friendly and outgoing. We had her with us to shoot our pre-wedding cocktail party in NYC, and then two days later, shoot our intimate wedding in Connecticut. She had a smile on her face both days (all day!), was enthusiastic, upbeat and was able to capture the best of everyone! She remembered everything we planned and discussed pre-event and was just a joy to have with us that day - it really was like having another girlfriend there as an essential part of our special day! She made everyone feel at ease and I received so many compliments from friends and family afterwards of how lovely and friendly she was!
Fast forward to a few weeks later and receiving our photos, and we were just so happy at the quality, quantity and fun surprises she was able to grab.
I cannot recommend Mindy enough and know our family will be working with her for years to come as our little family grows!

We hired Mindy as our wedding photographer. She just did our engagement shoot and the photos she took were better than we could have imagined. She was flexible with the date and time, and offered location suggestions. She understood our personalities and captured that in the photos she took. The photos are beautiful and she is so easy to work with. She is very down to earth and also professional. We were instantly comfortable with her, she took her time on the photos, and was really present with us throughout the shoot. I met Mindy at a photo shoot for a small business a few summers ago and I immediately fell in love with her personality. When I got engaged last year, I told my new fiancé that she was the only person I wanted to consider for our wedding. Her packages are reasonable and you get what I call “old fashioned quality”. She is caring, and as others have stated in their reviews, you instantly want to be her friend. If you’d like a sneak peek at this, simply follow her on Instagram. We have to admit that her and her husband, who is her second shooter, were one of the best parts of our wedding. We had a few blimps with every one of our vendors, but they were perfect. Mindy lights up a room and makes you so comfortable that you easily can just be yourself. Our engagement shoot was super fun and she was patient enough to not only follow us to 4 different locations, but go for our silly ideas in addition to her own!
We have to mention her graciousness as well…we had to postpone our April wedding due to COVID which moved us into “wedding season” and despite her ridiculously busy schedule, she stuck with us, squeezing us in, and we couldn’t be more appreciative.
Lastly, we were saddened to report only 3 days after our wedding that my new husband had contracted COVID…our greatest nightmare after having to already postpone our wedding, but our tough week ended with our sneak peek from Mindy! It was just what we needed to reflect back on our beautiful day!!! Thank you beyond words Mindy & Cam! We can’t wait to see our full portfolio. -

Mindy was the most amazing wedding photographer for our intimate ceremony (changed from a massive wedding due to COVID). I had emailed her about a month out from the wedding off of a referral from a friend and from the first email back she was so warm and lovely to work with. She was organized, detailed, her ways of working were just great. Most importantly, her photography is GORGEOUS!! She knew exactly how to position and pose us (because we sure didn't know how). She captured some amazing "posed" but still candid photos as well as truly candid photos from the church ceremony. The photos were the best we've ever seen. She was friendly, kept the day moving, knew how to get our little nephew into photos (great with families!). Highly recommend and hope we get to work with her again!! Thank you Mindy!! -

Due to the pandemic we were forced to switch photographers and I couldn't be more ecstatic that we ended up with Mindy. She is just a joy to work with, so enthusiastic and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We did our engagement shoot with her last weekend and the pictures are STUNNING! I can't put into words how much we love them. She helped us choose the location for the shoot and even sent over a custom pinterest board to help us choose our outfits and for inspiration poses. We have sent the pictures to our friends any family who have all said the same thing, "I started screenshotting my favorites but there are just too many - I'd end up screenshotting all of them!" I've done photoshoots in the past but have never had so many "useable" images from one shoot. I'm so grateful to have these gorgeous images and can't to see the wedding pictures! -
