  EPIC Wedding and Engagement Photos

  Pretty sure Brandon is the most sought after wedding photographer in the Mammoth area - and rightly so, he's AMAZING.
  
  Firstly, it's important to know what style of photography you want for your wedding. Brandon knows the mountains/nature in Mammoth incredibly well and can give you the most epic nature/landscape shots. Jaw dropping shots. That said, if you're someone looking for a lot of the traditional, more romantic, soft lighting, focus on details, first look, group poses, getting ready, etc..., Brandon may not be your guy. But if you're looking to integrate your wedding with the nature landscape and dramatic lighting... book him now. If you're in Mammoth getting married, you're probably the more adventurous type anyway :)
  
  We had an 130 person wedding at McCoy Station during a year with epic snowfall. So much snow on the ground and Brandon always knew what to do with it. He also knows McCoy and Mammoth so well that we dictated our wedding schedule around his recommendations... from getting to the top of the mountain for sunset shots to epic night shots at the end of the night. He also stayed basically until the end of the night so we got tons of great party shots too.
  
  He offered a free engagement photoshoot with his wedding package, as well as a 20 page photobook post wedding. He was super quick (~1 week) to get the sneak peaks to us after the wedding and really wasn't long for us to the the full download.
  
  Finally, Brandon is such a great and nice guy to work with. Always smiles, always a good time. Book him fast as his schedule books up quickly!!

  Amazing photographer

  We are so happy we were able to book for our elopement/ small wedding. His photos went passed our expectations. Brandon is very professional and responsive. We felt comfortable taking photos with him. He delivered our photos within the promised time frame. We hope in the future we are able to take photos for another occasion with Brandon. If you choose him, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Brandon !

  Hire Brandon if you want the best wedding photos around

  We don’t have words to express how excellent a photographer Brandon is. We loved everything about working with him, but three things come to mind.
  
  First, Brandon is a true artist. His photographs are absolutely stunning. He knows all the best spots for incredible panoramas, lighting, and mountain texture. In addition to being an expert at highlighting the unique landscapes around Mammoth Lakes, he excels at capturing the emotion of the wedding day. He was always in the right place at the right time. The resulting photos are so visceral, taking us back to the pure emotion of each moment: the tears, the joy, the quiet appreciation. We looked through our gallery and got chills looking back on such special moments.
  
  Second, Brandon has wedding day logistics down pat. He patiently listened to our goals for the wedding day and then figured out a seamless plan for capturing the photos. We had a down-to-the-minute schedule to keep everything on track. His intimate knowledge of the Mammoth Lakes area helps immensely. Brandon also clearly thinks very carefully about shooting the wedding ahead of time. We were concerned about sacrificing time with family and friends, but Brandon wasted no time—he had tons of great ideas for shots and poses in mind and moved through the shoots super efficiently.
  
  Third, Brandon is an amazing person. He’s thoughtful and down-to-earth. He’s also naturally calm and patient, qualities you’ll very much appreciate on your big day. We found that our sessions with Brandon throughout the day—first look, pre- and post-ceremony shots, Milky Way shots around 9pm—were lovely, quiet moments to take a breath and appreciate being with one another in a beautiful place.

  Highly Recommended Adventurous Photographer

  Brandon is amazing. He was our photographer for our Sept. 2020 wedding (in the middle of a pandemic, wildfire, unprecedented forest shutdown and off-the-charts smoke!) and a delayed "engagement" shoot in Oct. 2021 (where we brought our wild 90 pound golden retriever and my 7 month pregnant self). He stuck with us through it all - always with an energetic sense of adventure and a calming confidence. His photos speak for themselves - he is incredibly talented and perfectly incorporates the landscape. But, even more, he's a really kind and authentic person who will do anything to get the very best photos (off-road driving, hiking up mountains, lying in dirt, boulder jumping...) and make sure you have a lot of fun throughout. Could not recommend Brandon enough.

  The Most Epic Pictures of Your Life!

  There is no question that Brandon is one of the best out there, his photo skills are next level and quite honestly, out of this world. He will literally lay down on the dirt, rocks, and hang off the edge of a mountain to get the perfect shot. He shot our engagement photos back in April 2019 and we were meant to have a full wedding at Convict Lake in June 2020 but due to the pandemic we decided to elope and were married at Lake George. We can't thank Brandon enough for recommending such an epic spot and for the adventure that followed. He is professional, funny, super nice, and will make photo taking really fun and laid back. If you are a nature lover, adventurer, and don't mind trekking up mountains to take some insane wedding photos then he is your guy! We feel so lucky to have these epic photos to look back on one of the best days of our lives. We are forever grateful!! Love, The Cinques

  amazing memories captured

  Brandon was highly recommended by our venue; we chose him because he has shot countless times at our venue and works incredibly well with our DJ and coordinator. It was worthwhile to get someone who knew the best places to shoot around Convict Lake Resort. He found some amazing places to photograph. After the ceremony, we took some couple photos on a hill overlooking the lake and after the reception, we snuck away for some night shots. Brandon and his second shooter, Joel, were able to navigate around the 25mph wind gusts and gave us some incredible unforgettable shots. Brandon and his second shooter, Joel, surpassed our expectations.

  Simply The Best!

  When I was told to pick my 3 must haves for my wedding in terms of importance, a solid photographer was at the top of the list. I had been following Brandon on Social Media for quite some time prior to my wedding, simply because of his ability to make people part of a landscape was amazing. I knew I had to book him immediately. From his hilarious personality to his sense of adventure, a photoshoot with him is nothing short of amazing. His turnaround time is also phenomenal for someone who basically is booked for weddings every weekend. I couldn't be happier with the photos and experienced I received.

  Amazing. Brandon was so professional but so friendly and made us feel so comfortable. Our engagement pictures turned out so beautiful! We had so much fun on our shoot, laughing and hiking up some hills to get the perfect picture. i totally recommend Minaret and so glad I found them :)

  Incredible engagement & wedding photos!

  Brandon with Minaret Photography was nothing less than phenomenal. From the get-go he was very responsive and helpful. We got our first taste of his skills with our incredible engagement photos. My husband and I are definitely not models and the way he guided us through each shot is why those photos turned out so great. Come to the day of the wedding, he was very flexible with the schedule and got the most beautiful shots in crazy weather (hail / snow). Within less than 24 hours of the wedding, he turned around 57 photos as a preview (and we were his 4th & last shoot of the weekend). Brandon is so talented, I’ll fly him out to CO to take more photos for us. Fun fact - he tries to never go to the same spot twice for engagement photos.   Brandon and Minaret Photography are THE BEST when it comes to photos! My husband and I hired him for our engagement photos in Mammoth Lakes after seeing him work his magic for our friends' wedding session / engagement session, and then, we were so happy to hear that he would travel to Lake Tahoe to shoot our wedding!
  
  I will update this post with some of his photos, but here are some reasons why you should hire him:
  
  1.) He takes the MOST EPIC PHOTOS EVER. Absolutely gorgeous, out-of-this-world, you won't believe it's real. The composition and lighting of his photos are truly genius, and his creative thinking and shots will have you realizing just how amazingly talented he is. In particular, I LOVE sunsets, and he nails them every time.
  
  2.) He is so laidback, easy to work with, and just an all-around cool dude. He keeps things light, knows how to make you feel comfortable for the best possible shot, and truly works with you until he gets the shot.
  
  3.) For the quality of his photographs and the amount of packages you can choose from, you truly have so many options to fit your budget while still getting DYNAMITE photos.
  
  I cannot recommend him enough, and I look forward to using him in the future as additional photo needs come up. He captured all of the big and small moments from our wedding - the big kiss, my dad walking me down the aisle, our bridal party, our friends dancing, our families getting ready, and so much more, and I can't thank him enough.

  Brandon is hands down one of the best photographers I've ever met. He has an amazing eye for catching beautiful shots with a picturesque background. We loved our engagement photos and we love our wedding ones even more. He is so easy to work with and makes you feel comfortable, he does whatever he needs to do to get that perfect shot for you. You will be in amazing hands if you hire Brandon to be your photographer.

  Brandon is amazing. We had our engagement shots and wedding pictures done with him. I hate taking pictures and he made the experience so much fun and enjoyable. The pictures are amazing, I couldn't have asked for more. He even climbed into the freezing water at Twin Lakes for a shot of everyone on the bridge. He was very go with the flow and accommodating to my MOH that had a secret photo request. Highly recommend him.

  Oh. My. Gosh. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful our photos are. Brandon is amazing at shooting pictures in nature and he is so good at not only capturing your sweet moments but capturing the WHOLE picture. Working him was fantastic, he was always easy to get a hold of and was easy to communicate with. When he arrived the day of, we were a little stressed and frazzled as we rushed to get ready but he kept his cool and put us at ease. He was great working with the kids in our bridal party and was able to get the fun shots in as well. The scenic pictures he took are breath taking and I can't wait to hang them on my walls. I would definitely recommend him to any bride or groom getting married in a scenic location. The pictures and memories are well worth the money.
