The team at Mil Besos made planning our wedding in Tamarindo an absolute breeze! As someone who had never even been to Costa Rica, I was pretty overwhelmed when starting the planning process once we had chosen Tamarindo for our destination wedding. I was blown away by how easy they made the entire process. Their vendor recommendations were spot-on, and they also suggested amazing activities that made our whole trip unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend them more! -

Hiring Mil Besos as our wedding planning team was the best decision we made after deciding to get married in our favorite vacation destination! Choosing to hire a wedding planner took some convincing for my now husband, but after our reception the first comment he made was "We never could have done this without them!" Meghan and her team are extremely organized and detail oriented. From our first point of contact through the day after our wedding, we never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Meghan and her team members have unmatched resources and experience that set them above just being wedding planners. Mil Besos helped coordinate our wedding welcome party, wedding day details and festivities, a wedding group excursion, and our honeymoon. They even went as far as to help my husband organize and obtain a special handmade Costa Rican wedding gift/surprise!
Our day of coordinator, Connie, was absolutely amazing. She checked in on us frequently to ensure all our needs were met all while coordinating vendors and our guests. We had questionable weather forecasted the day of our wedding. She immediately presented beautiful back up options and reassured us that our day would remain as perfect as planned - and she produced!! The details, communication and passion that Connie provided made our day extraordinary!!
From selecting a venue, choosing vendors, designing details and managing a budget, Mil Besos made our wedding experience a dream come true. We cannot recommend them enough for anyone that is getting married in Costa Rica. Team Mil Besos is dedicated to making your wedding dreams a reality. We would choose them again and again for all our party planning needs!

Wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica
You simply cannot book a better wedding planner than Mil Besos in Costa Rica. For the amount of thoughtfulness and value they deliver, I don’t think we could have found a better planner in the U.S.! We are incredibly grateful to the entire Mil Besos team, and could not have asked for a more memorable wedding week.
When we initially decided to have a destination wedding, we questioned if it was the right decision due to the extra complexity, and researched a bunch of different options. Ultimately, we decided to get married in Costa Rica because of how confident we were in the Mil Besos team, and we ended up feeling like the planning process was less stressful than a local wedding! Throughout the entire journey, they were very responsive and accounted for every detail. They were conscious of our budget and made all of our big and small requests a reality. I work in a project management role for a living, and was thoroughly impressed by how well they managed our planning process (including the use of a tool we could easily view to track the status of different items)!
In the final months of planning, they had a very smooth process for confirming final details, ensuring our guest were comfortable, and helping us plan guest activities. We expected to be a little stressed with final details in the days before the wedding, but we were able to fully relax and enjoy our time in Costa Rica.
Mil Besos has a specialized team of planners for things like design, guest activities, and venue coordination, which is a huge differentiator for the value. Our day of planners were awesome, and even showed up for our welcome party! They made everything go perfectly to plan and kept things moving along without making it feel like a rush. They made the wedding very fun!

Choosing Megan and Mil Besos to coordinate our elopement was one of the best decisions ever! Connie, our day of coordinator, was as an absolute angel and made the day completely smooth and stress free. The vendor recommendations were spot on, and Keri, or designer with Mil Besos, pulled our vision together perfectly. I can honestly say that I was never stressed about our wedding day, during planning and day of, because this team had everything handled perfectly. Every detail was taken care of, down to placing a lunch order and bringing it to us to have while getting ready. Words cannot begin to describe our gratitude for how the Mil Besos team made our wedding better than we could have ever dreamed of.

Despite our busy schedules and living/planning the wedding from NYC, the Mil Besos team managed every detail of our wedding weekend flawlessly from the very moment we met with Meghan and the team - ultimately allowing us to enjoy the process and celebrate with zero stress!
From the outset, their flexibility in accommodating our unique and SUPER specific needs set the tone for a personalized service that continued throughout our time planning with them. Their responsiveness to our questions and concerns was remarkable, making a typically daunting process seamless, memorable, and enjoyable. The team's organizational skills and deep knowledge of the wedding industry, their extremely valuable relationships with local Costa Rican vendors (from venues, to design, to music, and everything in between) shone through, securing our DREAM venue in Las Catalinas and managing vendor relations with extreme professionalism and grace.
Each member of the team brought a unique touch to our wedding weekend. Their creative vision was evident in the stunning decor that perfectly captured our style, and their meticulous planning and organizational skills ensured that no detail was overlooked—from the schedule to guest management. They even sourced items that we didn't think existed in the area because they were so invested in ensuring our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. You really don't find a team that is willing to go so above and beyond, almost as if they were planning for their own weddings - we are still in awe.
Most importantly, the Mil Besos team went above and beyond to ensure that all our guests were well taken care of, which was a HUGE relief for us. Their exceptional coordination and problem-solving skills allowed our wedding to run smoothly, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. Our guests were raving about them from the moment we sent out our Save the Dates because they coordinated every detail to ensure our wedding was also an enjoyable vacation for them before/after our events.
We are immensely and eternally grateful to the entire Mil Besos team for their dedication and hard work. We HIGHLY recommend them to any couple looking for a stress-free and beautifully orchestrated wedding that will exceed any and all expectations! Mil Besos did an INCREDIBLE job planning our wedding and executing on the plan. Meghan’s team helped us understand pros and cons of many of our decisions, helping us to understand factors we hadn’t considered before. They had solid recommendations for each vendor we wanted. If you are thinking about it… DO IT! BOOK YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING NOW. WORTH ALL THE PRECIOUS MEMORIES.
We had our wedding in Tamarindo, CR at Sueno Del Mar in April 2023. Ceremony was at Sueno Del Mar around 5pm and then our reception was next door at the Airbnb. We had 53 guest to attend. Our budget was 25k and I think we were under 32k.
Naturally planning a wedding is a bit overwhelming and time consuming. A hundred decisions need to be made and you have to dedicated a lot of time to this.
But omg, once we arrived to CR our trip was relaxing and so much fun. If you want your guest to have an experience to remember for the rest of their lives, have a destination wedding. The best part is Mils Besos assist your guest with reservations, questions, and activities. This took a lot of stress off a bride while planning.
Mils Besos has a laundry list of vendors they recommended and most of those vendors you can stalk through instagram. Trust Meghan and her crew! The girls that helped our guest- true MVPs!
Cata (with Mils Besos) is the wedding design goodness. She was sweet and attentive. 10 out of 10 for service, professionalism, and being a genuine human.
Our flowers were locally grown and the rentals were handcrafted by Flores de campos. They even made us a surf board stand for the bar idea. I can’t not believe how many beautiful tropical flowers we got for the price. I brag about my flowers all the time.
We are stoked to have spent the extra money to have a live band at our wedding. The musical guru Max and his crew jammed all night long and crushed their performance. They had great hits which kept people on the dance floor. My favorite moment was my brother singing every lyric of ‘ganster in paradise’ during the encore. SERIOUSLY BOOK THEM!!
Sylvia Guardia is the most talented and kind photographer. Every single photo was priceless. She makes you feel comfortable right away and guides you effortlessly through the whole evening. BOOK HER TOO!
I can’t remember the company who we rented the tent from, but they did a fantastic job setting up and breaking down. Very professional.
Sueno Del Mar… where to even start with this gem of a place. The vila is out of this world. Sol, Eduardo, and the crew- thank you for keeping us hydrated, filling our tummy’s up with delicious food, and being there every step of the way.
All the staff for the entire week, the day of the wedding, and the rest of our trip were incredible.
BOOK HERE EVERY YEAR!
Then the icing on the cake… Victoria Victoria Victoria. You are so special. Thank you for making the 45 min drive to Tamarindo. Sitting down with us for a cake tasting which was a core memory. The cake was to die for. I still day dream about how good that cake was. To the staff that left it in our room… -

Caution: Long Review
Where do I even begin?! The ladies of Mil Besos have far exceeded all expectations that I have ever had for my wedding weekend. My destination wedding was on June 10, 2023 in Costa Rica. I started planning on January 14, 2022 with a different wedding planner. In November of 2022, I had my site visit at the resort, where due to unforseen circumstances, that planner was no longer able to continue with the process, leaving me with 11 months worth of planning to figure out by myself. In a panic, i reached out to Meghan at Mil Besos, who immediately put my mind at ease. Picture it, you’re flown to Costa Rica for your site visit to meet with the planner youve been planning your wedding with for 11 months, and she cancels. I am a woman of faith and truly believe Meghan and her team were God sent. They immediately took charge and took 11 months of UNREALISTIC, and quite frankly, IMPRACTICAL planning and completely turned it around for me. From the moment I reached out to Meghan while I was at the site visit, she sent Connie from her team to meet me at the resort. I am a true believer in the saying “everything happens for a reason”. At that moment, I knew this was meant to be. There aren’t enough words to express how truly thankful I am for the ladies of Mil Besos and everything they have done for me throughout this hectic wedding planning process (although it was no longer hectic when they took my wedding on). From continuously checking in and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process, to making sure my entire vision came to life. This team is truly the ultimate Dream Team. The knowledge behind the coordination and planning was superb and so professional. They helped me plan an entire destination wedding weekend for 180 guests in 6 months. I’m no expert, but if you ask me, that is unheard of. I am still in awe of how perfect it was.
Wedding Day: I had a 180 guest count wedding in Costa Rica. On site of the resort, I was lucky to be accompanied by Connie, Sol, and Eunice. Now although I know coordination is done before hand as well as during, I am still trying to wrap my head around THREE ladies coordinating such a smooth transition of a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception of 180 guests including, but not limited to: a bridezilla, a groom, 10 groomsmen, 10 bridesmaids, 2 sets of parents, 3 ring bearers, and 2 flower girls. From the beginning of the day at 8am these ladies were able to bounce around from my husband’s room, to the groomsmen room, to my room, to all 3 venues for our wedding day just to ensure everything was perfect. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, all while making sure all three venues were exactly how we had pictured it. Not once did they complain, and it was all done so effortlessly. The communication was IMPECCABLE. Of course, not everything is going to be sunshine and butterflies, and is going to go as smoothly as you plan. But they made any changes seem like it was part of the original plan. So it was perfect in my eyes. I can vividly remember this one moment when I requested snacks in particular from Sol because I hadn’t eaten, and it was already on its way. Not only did she make sure all of our necessities were met, she also made sure we ate (which most brides forget to do on their wedding day). She went the extra mile and physically fed me bites in between hair and makeup. A literal sweetheart. Whatever you need, these ladies are 10 steps ahead, already thinking about it. If Plan A didn’t follow through(which rarely happened), there was always a Plan B AND C. If you are planning a wedding where all you want to do is explain your vision, sit back, and watch it come to life, Mil Besos is the perfect match for you. I am also a very indecisive person, so design was somewhat difficult for me. Cata was able to offer some of the best advice for design and was even able to give me physical visuals so that I wasn’t completely reliant on mental visuals. The detailing the precision was unremarkable. They made my experience so enjoyable and so undeniably stress free. Not to mention, they also planned both a pool party and rehearsal dinner the evenings leading up to the wedding day that went PHENOMENALLY. The only regret I have in choosing Mil Besos to plan and coordinate my wedding weekend is the fact that I didn’t originally choose them from the beginning.
My husband and I are so grateful for everything Mil Besos has done to make our dream wedding come to life, and cannot thank them enough for taking our wedding on so last minute. The team at Mil Besos is simply the BEST of the BEST, and I would 10/10 recommend Mil Besos a million times over again. -

From the first warm interaction, they distinguished themselves with a treasure trove of information and remarkably prompt responses, which are particularly refreshing given the laid-back culture of the region.
What's exciting about Mil Besos is they are more than just wedding planners; they also excel as travel agents. They skillfully orchestrated luxurious hotels, room blocks, and seamless travel arrangements for our valued guests. They also curated thrilling escapades such as ATVing, ziplining, and jetskiing. The welcome drinks were a harmonious blend, and the rehearsal dinner unfolded as a tastefully crafted, memorable gathering.
One of Mil Besos' sterling strengths is their synergy with outside vendors. Armed with their insightful recommendations, we collaborated with a constellation of vendors for vibrant flowers, mesmerizing lighting, elegant tables, chairs, linens, tableware, vibrant photography and videography, the most awesome DJ, and delectable cake and desserts. Mil Besos managed these vendors with grace and efficiency, ensuring harmonious coordination.
It can be daunting to plan a wedding remotely, but their sagacious guidance, tailor-made to our tastes and preferences, was like a guiding star. They are true maestros of celebrations! Our friends were awe-struck, exclaiming the night as "otherworldly magical" and an absolute "banger".
Throughout the planning and design process, their organizational acumen was simply stellar. We were equipped with streamlined spreadsheets for room blocks, and beautifully rendered presentations and mood boards that vividly captured the essence of both the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Their scrupulous management of our budget was an art form, and remarkably we came in under budget for our dream wedding.
On the wedding day, Mil Besos effortlessly wove our concept of Jungle Luxe into existence. The venue metamorphosed into a sublime oasis, and a magical aura enveloped the air. Every detail was meticulously executed, and it felt like we had stepped into a dreamscape.
Mil Besos deserves the highest accolades and heartful gratitude. Their services are marked by thoroughness, consummate professionalism, and a touch of heartfelt dedication. Our hearts are full of joy for the beautiful experience they crafted. A resounding thank you, Mil Besos, for making our wedding an event that will be treasured for a lifetime.

It was so hard to try to pick a wedding planner in a country we had never even visited before, but once I started chatting with Meghan at Mil Besos I knew she was the right person to help us! She sent us a quote and was VERY informative. I had received a couple of less expensive quotes from other planners and when I asked her about the difference she was very honest and straightforward in how things work in Costa Rica and what to expect. I could tell her knowledge and connections with the local vendors would save me a lot more stress and money in the long run! I am so thankful we chose to work with Mil Besos.
They planned our entire 12-day trip, not only for my husband and I, but for all our guests - including transportation. They sent everyone an individualized itinerary with the different hotels and activities everyone chose. They handled all the payments to the different hotels, transportation companies, and activities so that guests were able to pay through one easy system. We made things complicated with which items we wanted to cover for all or just some guests, but it didn't phase the staff at Mil Besos one bit. They were so helpful and accommodating the entire time.
After flying into Liberia, a small group of us spent a few days in Tamarindo at Tamarindo Diria. We did a Catamaran Cruise with Marlin del Ray which was fun, but unfortunately some of us (myself included) got sea sick and forgot our Dramamine. We then traveled to the Arenal Forest, stopping first at the Liberia airport to pick up the rest of our group that flew in a few days after us. We were surprised with a huge comfortable bus and a tour guide explaining the culture and different points of interest along the way. (Our guests were so impressed and we admitted that we didn't even know we were going to get that perk!) We went to Nayara Gardens/Nayara Springs with a few guests staying at Hotel Mountain Paradise. It was dark and raining when we arrived, which made us very skeptical when they offered to drive us individually to our rooms in individual golf carts. However, Nayara turned out to be an oasis and the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Despite being in the middle of the rainforest, there wasn't a single creature in any of our rooms! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We spent a couple days relaxing at Nayara. The entire group participated in a chocolate and coffee tour with Sunset Tours that was recommended by Mil Besos and everyone LOVED it! The next day was THE big day at Koita (a restaurant/venue located between Nayara and Hotel Mountain Paradise). We had never been to Costa Rica before and I struggled to find any pictures of weddings at Koita while planning. Meghan shared a few photos with me of previous weddings she had done there, but I still couldn't get a feel for what to expect so I was pretty nervous. However, it turned out to be absolutely perfect! Ari took care of all the decorations and since I didn't really know what to expect I tried to sit back and trust her expertise. She surprised us with her level of detail!! All of the guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was! Tui was there to make sure everything went smoothly and I was so thankful for her! She made sure everything was perfect!! We decided to go buffet style to keep with the Cinco de Mayo theme. The food was delicious and the chef even prepared a separate meal for my aunt who has a pepper/spice allergy which she said was very good. Our photographer, Megan McCullor, was great! She was so easy going and accommodating and captured our big day with amazing photos we will cherish for years! DJ Teemoor was so much fun and everyone danced all night long! The next day we went to Spider Monkey Canyon with Mistico which was exhilarating. The guides were great! After that, everyone went their own way with some guests going back home, some went to Tamarindo, others went to explore other parts of Costa Rica. My husband and I spent a night at Tabacon, which was nice, but we wished we would have just stayed another night at Nayara instead and just purchased a day pass to visit the hot springs at Tabacon. Then we traveled to Origins Luxury Lodge where the food was phenomenal; however, there was no air conditioning which made it hard to sleep in mid-May on top of the fact that we had ants in our bed that kept coming back despite their many attempts to spray for them. Therefore, we had to cut that stay shorter than expected and we went to El Mangroove Autograph where we actually extended our stay another day to relax there. It was such a relief to just be able to contact Mil Besos when we changed our plans and they took care of everything! I couldn't be more thankful to Meghan, Arlene, Tui, Ari, and the rest of the team at Mil Besos that made our wedding and the rest of our vacation relaxing and unforgettable! -

Absolute Destination Wedding Planning Dream Team!
My husband, Collin, and I recently had our destination wedding celebration in Tamarindo, Costa Rica and honestly could not have asked for a more memorable or magical experience - We owe so much of that to our wonderful wedding planner, Meghan & the amazing Mil Besos team!!
Like many couples planning a wedding during the pandemic, the several delays and two years leading up to our big weekend came with more change and uncertainty than we had ever anticipated. However, not once did we doubt that things would work out as they should, solely because of how Meghan and her team continuously kept us at ease, reminding us to look forward and focus on the good. We can't think of one moment throughout our wedding planning experience where we weren't appreciative of the constant help and support we received from this team, as Meghan and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had our perfect wedding, despite all that they were dealing with on their end.
We also couldn't have been more in love with the design and overall look and feel of our wedding - Cata completely brought our vision to life!! She was so wonderful to work with throughout, always collaborating and lending creative, unique ideas. She's truly as good as it gets when it comes to creating a personalized aesthetic and a vibe!
When it came to helping our U.S. guest list navigate this big trip, Meghan and Arlene were so, so helpful every step of the way. All of our family and friends commented on how seamless the entire process was multiple times because of how much info they were provided by Mil Besos throughout. This was huge for us since most of our guests had never been to Costa Rica before! We really valued this dimension of the planning process. Not to mention, Meghan was overly accommodating when it came to asking for recs or advice for our trip outside of our actual wedding. Another testament to the amazing person she is.
As far as day-of logistics, Kerry and Sol absolutely rocked it. Never once did I feel stressed of how it would all be pulled off because of how much they took off our plates. It was so amazing for Collin and I to be able to focus on the important moments because of their organization, guidance and overall relaxed demeanors. Total dream team!!
I could go on and on about our incredibly positive experience with Meghan and the Mil Besos team, but there's just not enough words to express our gratitude. We will be forever thankful to them for helping us to plan and pull off the most insanely beautiful, memorable and love-filled wedding experience we could have ever imagined for ourselves...One we will look back on with big smiles for the rest of our married lives! -

From our very first conversation til the day we left Costa Rica, Meghan and her team were the absolute best and that is an understatement. Having no idea what we wanted or where to ven start, we were given guidance, ideas and a scheduled itinerary for us to come pre-decision making. Our planning process was just under one year and Mil Besos was there every step of the way. Meghan was available to chat anytime we needed her and answered any and all questions/concerns. I knew when I arrived in Costa Rica everything was going to be amazing but I didn't realize how amazing. We had multiple events throughout the wedding weekend and Kerry & Sol were there helping me, my family and all of our guests get where they needed to be (and on time!) You never know what to expect when you make all of your decisions over the phone or based on photos but Cata took everything I liked and turned it into more than I ever could have imagined. I was blown away by how my wedding turned out. On my actual wedding day Sol and Kerry MADE IT HAPPEN. My groom and I wanted for nothing and we loved being able to spend time with them all day. There aren't enough hours in the day to go on and on, if I could I would. Aside from saying yes to your partner, hiring Mil Besos will be the second best decision you ever make. I promise. -

Choosing Mil Besos Costa Rica was the best decision I could have done . You will be stress free because they made everything so simple. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I feel like I had a small budget but she made it happen!! It was beautiful, unique, and romantic. She was amazing with helping all 40 guest with transportation and excursions throughout the week. The whole family still raves about how amazing the wedding was. -

Choosing the Mil Besos team to plan our wedding was the best decision we made! Meghan helped us choose the location, the villa, and every detail of how our wedding day would go.
For wedding design, we worked with Cata. She was so personable and responsive. She made choosing furniture, flowers, and other decorations easy. On the wedding day everything was incredibly well done.
This team goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. One special memory I have is how happy I was when I saw the lighting over the dinning table. When discussing lighting options, what I wanted was out of our budget and seemed too difficult to execute. But to my surprise, the lights were way better than we what had originally settled on. It was beautiful.
When my husband and I created our wedding budget, a videographer was not in the plan. Lucky for us, a videographer messaged Meghan looking for a Costa Rica wedding shoot for their portfolio. Getting a wedding video at no cost was an absolute treat and we are so grateful.
Sol was the coordinator for the wedding day. With her leading the charge, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She was so organized and brought such positive energy to the day. I'd highly recommend her for day of execution.
In addition to coordinating the wedding day, Meghan also helped us book a caterer for other dinners, a yoga class at the villa, and recommended other awesome vendors we could book with.
I can't say enough good things about Mil Besos. If you are planning your destination wedding in Costa Rica, choosing them in a no-brainer! -

Meghan and her team are truly a joy to work with, one of the best in the world! I contacted Meghan to help me host a retreat for photographers in Costa Rica, and she went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success. From venue selections, to accommodations, to timelines and shoot design, Meghan's team took care of all of the details perfectly! I am so impressed with their organizational abilities and how connected they are with local businesses in Costa Rica as well as the Costa Rican culture. It was so helpful to have someone who understood the region on our team to offer us important insights! I would hire her for another event in a heartbeat! I also have worked with Mil Besos as the photographer/videographer for a wedding they planned, and I was similarly impressed. All of the vendors were on the same page, and despite a very busy schedule, the day was seamless. Meghan even sought out medication for one of the children who attended and had an allergic reaction to the sand-- above and beyond! You can't do any better than Mil Besos. -

We decided we wanted to do a destination wedding and get married in Costa Rica, one of our favorite places. At first, I tried to start planning on my own, and was able to get a decent amount done (venue booked, dress found, photographer and videographer) on my own. I soon came to realize that there is A LOT that goes into planning a wedding, especially when you live in another Country (we live in Texas) and your Spanish is sub-par to say the least.
I found Meghan and the Mil Besos Team after doing tons of research on planners. I loved how they had experience both here in the States as well as in Costa Rica. The Team was wonderful from the moment I first interacted with them! I remember wanting to hug Meghan the first time I spoke with her. I felt like she was my guardian angel sent to help take all of the stressors away that planning the biggest day of your life can bring upon you.
They thought of EVERYTHING! So many things I would never have even thought of. All I had to do was outline my vision, and they went to work making it happen. We did floral trials, food tastings, shipped fake flowers in from China, made our own napkin rings, and so many other small details that one would think a planner would never help with. They truly love what they do and take pride in making this day your most special and memorable day.
The planning is one thing, but the execution is another. The day of the wedding the team made sure every step of the way was covered. Everyone in my Wedding Party knew where to go, when to be there and what to do. It was like they were a team of Wedding Ninjas just knocking things out left and right. I had the most stress free wedding experience I can imagine and it really is all thanks to the Mil Besos Team.
It isn't just one person that you work with. You work with a designer, a florist expert, a planning expert, etc. They use an application to make communications easy and are always available, no matter what time of day or night. Do yourself a favor and hire this Team. You will not regret it. It was the best decision I made throughout my whole planning process.
Thank you Mil Besos! You truly are amazing at what you do and we cannot thank you enough for making our day one we will never forget. :) -

Meghan and her team are absolutely amazing. Meghan quickly became attune to my personality and style and adapted to it with professionalism and thoughtfulness. All of her suggestions took into consideration the many conversations we had. If I needed additional options for vendors, layout, etc., she would always return promptly with several well researched suggestions.
Having Meghan behind the wheel was invaluable. I honestly could not imagine having gone through the process without her. Between her experience, vendor connections, and insights the day went off without a hitch.
Also - Catalina, our wedding designer, was a dream. She made the process SO fun. Her creativity, eye for design, and dedication to our day made it feel as though it was as important to her as it was to us. I cannot say enough good things about her.

Dream Wedding
Our destination dream wedding came true thanks to Meghan and everyone at Mil Besos. I cannot thank them enough!
When my husband and I first decided on our Costa Rican destination wedding, we really did not no where to start. We started looking at venues online by random searches. We quickly found out we were over our heads. As a new bride Instagram and Pinterest were my new favorite apps. I wanted to see pictures of wedding in Costa Rica and various tagged locations. I was blessed by accidentally coming across a beautiful wedding picture on Mil Besos's Instagram page. I then looked up their website and saw all the wonderful reviews, awards, and various mentions they have received in bridal magazines.
I contacted the company and they were quick to respond with all of my many questions. The rest is history! Meghan was there every step of the way and made the whole wedding process a breeze. All of my guests were so impressed at the quick responses from the company when booking their stay, excursions, and flights.
Also, a huge thanks to Catalina for helping me create our beautiful wedding. She made making the big or small decisions about the wedding decor so easy and fun!
I could not recommend this company enough for helping you plan your dream destination wedding. They made the experience stress free and enjoyable. Thanks again Mil Besos! -

Couldn't have done it without Meghan and her team! I tried to plan the wedding on my own for the first few months but quickly realized it was almost close to impossible considering I live in a different country nor do I speak the language. Spoke to several wedding planners over the phone before hiring Mil Besos. I chose Meghan because we clicked over the phone very easily and knew we would get along great. She made the process very easy to follow with her phone app (we pretty much planned the whole wedding using the app and texting.)
The number 1 star on her team that I can't gush enough about is her designer, Catalina! LOVE LOVE Catalina! She was awesome, easy to work with, answered all my questions/texts with quick responses anytime during the day. Catalina also served as my "therapist" at one point with guests drama as the wedding date got closer haha. I would say Catalina was definitely an integral part of the planning, I kept in touch with her the most. There was communication issues with the hotel venue (Villa Caletas) but Cat and Meghan were on them to make sure things were getting done and always kept me in the loop.
Kristina was my day of coordinator, she is awesome! Very direct and straight to the point with any decisions on the day of which I appreciated so I didn't have to really think or decide anything last minute. Took the stress off of me.
After the wedding was over, at least half the guests mentioned how it was one of the most beautiful, most put together wedding they have attended. Even my photographer and videographers thought it was one the smoothest weddings they have worked. Overall, I couldn't have picked a better team to help plan out my big day! -

Every detail down to the napkin color was thought out for both my husband and I AND all of our guests. The best thing about using a company like Mil Besos for a destination wedding is that they act as your travel agent AND your wedding planner! She ALSO planned a dream honeymoon for us! Meghan's level of professionalism is slim to none! She was right on the ball with everything from the moment we got engaged until the last minute of our honeymoon. HIGHLY recommend Mil Besos, can't say enough positive things about their entire team! Also - highly recommend taking them up on their vendor recommendations (florist, video, photo, DJ...etc.) as Meghan ONLY works with the best in the industry! We chose Mil besos to coordinate our elopement! Megan was absolutely amazing at organizing & suggesting things from - where to stay, to planning our surprise dinner post wedding.
I can honestly say I was not once worried about the wedding prior to, they have an app to keep you informed and on track.
We did a first look at Rio Perdido (great recommendation).
Then we drove to Llanos De Cortes waterfall, we got there abit late, and then stood and waited due to the rain. We wanted to see if it would slow down, but it kept raining so we went to the waterfall in the rain!! Day of coordinator Keri brought beautiful umbrellas thank gosh!
The only sad thing was that Keri and Megan didn’t talk to the workers at the waterfalls prior. (We were told they would). So they wouldn’t let us stay, we were super rushed trying to get photos / video footage etc. because the waterfall workers would not let us stay longer. We finally begged and they let us stay 20 minutes past closing. Keri also didn’t play the right song when we were walking down the aisle. LOL BUT in all honesty I can say it was the best day of my life. Keri moved people to the other side of the waterfall so no one was in our photos!!! SO thankful. She also brought champagne & glasses to celebrate. It was raining so she was touching my makeup / fluffing my dress & holding on to all of our things to protect it from the rain. She was super helpful during the rush of trying to get everything done while standing in the pouring rain.
After that Keri left and we still had 2.5 hours left that we paid the photographer/ videographer so they took us to an amazing location and we did get more photos.
The pre planning of Mil Besos is exceptional, the app they used was honestly such an amazing tool.
Extremely helpful throughout the entire experience!
Of course, there might be some things that didn’t go as planned, but I’m so thankful.
I would recommend them 100%, if you are getting married at a waterfall / etc. just confirm that they have talked to the workers to let you stay past close. -

My fiance and I got engaged in March of 2018 and decided shortly thereafter we wanted to do a destination wedding in Costa Rica. I reached out to a ton of wedding planners in Costa Rica and as soon as I received a response from Meghan I wanted to hire her! She was immediately so helpful, so knowledgeable and made the daunting task of planning a wedding abroad seem easy. We set up a Skype call and she helped us narrow down 3-4 venues to look at. Fast forward later and we booked Pangas Beach Club as our venue for December 2019. Meghan put is in contact with all of the best vendors. Meghan's team is also amazing to work with! I worked with Cata on the florals and design aspect. Cata was always available by email, phone, text, etc. She really understood the vision I had for the wedding and made my design dreams a reality. My guests worked with Arlene to book their hotels, airport transportation, etc. Arlene was super responsive and my guests all had wonderful things to say about how helpful she was in booking their plans. Kristina was my day-of coordinator and she was so cool to work with. She really put me at ease and made me feel relaxed on my wedding day. She was super on top of things and such a boss. Meghan is so knowledgeable about weddings in general, not to mention her specialized knowledge of all things Costa Rica. There wasn't a single question I had that Meghan couldn't answer for me. Her team was simply amazing. The wedding day went EXACTLY as planned with about 90 guests attending. Everything from the beginning to the end was seamless and an absolute blast. If you are considering a destination wedding, do not hesitate and book Meghan as your planner! Meghan and her team truly made my destination wedding dreams come true.
