Highly recommend for wedding!

We worked with both DJ Randy and Ashley for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! So friendly, genuine, and easy to interact with. They made sure the day/night went how we wanted it. Continuously checked in on us to make sure everything was going good!! Truly helped make our wedding everything we wanted it to be! They also were very familiar with the venue Creekside Acres Event Barn, which made the set up and behind the scenes stuff easier and smoother because they were so familiar which was definitely an added bonus! Definitely recommend using them and working with the micheal’s entertainment team they are fantastic!

DJ & Photobooth Michaels Entertainment

We just got married at Solitude Links Golfcourse in kimball MI and we couldn’t have been happier with DJ Aj and Stephanie from Michael’s Entertainment! From start to finish, they helped make our wedding an unforgettable celebration.

DJ Aj was fantastic to work with—professional, punctual, organized, and incredibly easygoing throughout the entire planning process. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, and every song transitioned seamlessly, creating the perfect energy from the first dance to the last. He read the crowd so well and made sure everyone had an amazing time.

Stephanie was equally wonderful as our photo booth attendant. She was so kind, attentive, and made sure all of our guests had a great experience. The photo booth was a huge hit, and the quality of the photos was outstanding. One of our favorite keepsakes from the day is the photo guest book filled with pictures and heartfelt messages from our family and friends—we will treasure it forever.

We highly recommend DJ Aj, Stephanie, and Michael’s Entertainment to anyone looking for an amazing wedding entertainment team. They truly went above and beyond to make our day so much fun, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Amazing company

I cannot recommend Michael’s Entertainment enough! I had my wedding at Rustic Escapes and it was everything I wanted it to be! Cam was my DJ, he arrived when he said he would and had everything ready to go. He played every song where I wanted him to and was able to do a transition during our first dance that I wasn’t sure was going to happen. Cam blended my husband and I’s music taste so well and we had people dancing all night long. It was the best day ever and Cam is a big part of making that happen.

Best DJ Ever

Michael's Entertainment was phenomenal and we absolutely loved DJ Richard's work both on the mic and behind the decks. The lighting and decor was better than we even imagined, the photo booth was a huge hit, and the music was truly incredible. Richard even found flips and alternates of tracks we asked to hear, I was blown away! Truly a 10/10 experience, would highly recommend to any couple booking a wedding!

We truly could not have dreamed of a better DJ for our wedding. From the moment we met him, Dennis was incredibly kind, calm, and warm. His presence put us at ease instantly, and he carried that same energy through the entire night. He not only created the perfect atmosphere but also captured videos for us after our photographers and videographers had left, which are moments we will cherish forever.
Dennis read the room flawlessly and kept the dance floor full all night. The music felt so authentically “us,” and his attention to detail from our first call to the last song was unmatched. Music and dancing were our top priorities, and he exceeded every expectation.
The photo booth attendant was also wonderful, very kind and patient. We were so busy dancing that we never made it to the photo booth, and by the time we did he had already begun closing down. He rebooted the entire system just so we could get a photo as bride and groom, which meant so much to us. Our guests loved the photo booth, and we cannot wait to see all the images.
One of our favorite moments was at the very end of the night after our planned final song. We realized we had not danced to a special song, and Dennis played it without hesitation even after the lights came on. He captured a video of us and our whole wedding party dancing, and it is a memory we will hold onto forever.
We are so grateful to Michael’s Entertainment for creating such an incredible atmosphere. Dennis is truly the best.

The whole package!

Can’t recommend Michael’s entertainment enough!! We had the pleasure of working with DJ Dennis and Dave for our videography and they DELIVERED! Our dance floor was full all night and had so many compliments. Dennis had all music/timing perfect from the ceremony all the way through our last dance. Such a great MC too. Dave’s energy was unmatched! He meshes with our photographer and us perfectly and captured every moment. We’re so grateful to have had them on our special day!!

Professional Yet Personal

I've booked Michaels entertainment for our wedding DJ and Videography. Truly a 5 star service! Richard and Jestice crushed it! They are very professional yet personal. From the very first phone call leading up to the day of. So many people told us how amazing and professional they were.

Richard read the room really well. He adjusted things quickly to bring people back to the dance floor. He amped up the audience and played such a big role in some of the surprise parts of the wedding.

Jestice are so chill yet professional and easy to work with. We had great conversion on the phone call a blast on the day of.

The have created such a great experience for us and our guests and making our wedding day a day to forever remember!

10/10 experience

From the beginning stages of finding a DJ, Richard with Michael’s Entertainment was great with expressing how the company worked and how we could proceed with choosing them as a vendor. Richard sold us on going with this company and picked us the perfect DJ. DJ Dennis called us the Monday before the wedding to go over the details of how the day will work and worked well with our venue to coordinate when he would be there to set up, etc. He was very communicative and even adjusted my timeline when I felt like I wanted to move things along and he made it all happen! Played all the right songs and took all the requests! He even sent us a playlist afterwards of our wedding playlist and tagged me in videos and photos of the day. I am so stoked that we went with Michael’s Entertainment and would recommend the company to any bride, groom or party event coordinator! Thank you so much DJ Dennis and Richard for everything!!

Fantastic DJ

Mark Maze from Michaels Entertainment was the DJ last week for our wedding at Robin Hills Farm in Chelsea. Mark was terrific! DJ Richard Summersett

We had DJ Richard Summersett for our wedding at Saint John's Resort in Plymouth, MI, and choosing him as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made in our entire wedding planning process! We gave him just a bit of input about what we liked and some songs we wanted to hear, and he took that and ran with it to create a mix that was perfect for us and our guests. We lost track of how many people came up to us during and after our wedding to say "your DJ was amazing!" The dancefloor was packed the entire night - up until the very last song - and even our older guests kept telling us how surprised they were at how many songs they recognized throughout the night. He kept the party rocking the entire night, and made sure that everyone had the best time. You won't regret having Richard DJ your wedding!

DJ Tommy was the best DJ that we have ever seen play at a wedding!

He listened to all of our requests that we made before the ceremony of songs that we wanted played and the do not play list. He was able to keep the vibes going on the dance floor all night without missing a beat. We changed a few things on the timeline and it didn't phase him, he was able to adjust and do what we needed at the moment.
Micheals entertainment was a wonderful company to work with. They were very informative during our initial phone call, and were able to adjust for the requirements for our venue. They were very professional and kind throughout the entire process.

Amazing DJ/MC + Photobooth!!

Michael's Entertainment was amazing! We got married very recently in early October at Shepherd's Hollow and booked with Michael's Entertainment in Feb 2023. From the beginning, we could tell that the team was very experienced. They offered their expertise on the venue based on past events that they've worked there. They knew about the building and the way that the sound reflected off of the glass and made recommendations that fit our specific space. Our DJ/MC, Seth, was amazing and our guests could not stop talking about how awesome the music was. We gave Seth some pointers on what direction we wanted to go in for our reception and our ceremony, and we were blown away at what he created for us. He is also extremely personable and kind, which is what we looked for in a DJ/MC. In addition to having Seth involved in our wedding, we also booked a photobooth through Michael's Entertainment. It was run by Seth's mom, who was also a big sweetheart. The photobooth was run very smoothly and our guests expressed nothing but good things. The team even gave us a personal photobooth book at the end of our night!

Overall, Michael's Entertainment is organized, passionate in what they do, and trustworthy. I would highly recommend utilizing them for any small or large event that you may have!

Dance all night

We hired Micheal’s entertainment for both our ceremony music as well as the reception. About two weeks before our wedding the DJ we picked had to be changed out for another one due to medical reasons. Micheal’s emailed me with the change but also called me personally to explain the situation. Very professional!
We ended up having DJ Ricky. He was great! He kept people on the dance floor all night. We don’t have a lot of dancers in our family but the ones that do danced all night long. Ricky was able to read the crowd and kept the music going. My cousin requested a song and when she didn’t know the name of the artist Ricky put the headphones on her and helped her find the right version, it was so cute to see the two of them up there figuring it out! Micheal’s entertainment and DJ Ricky did not disappoint!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Michaels Entertainment! Planning a wedding at Ford Field came with the unique challenge of not being able to lock down a date until the NFL schedule was released, just a couple of months before our big day. However, Michaels Entertainment was incredibly accommodating and held our potential dates until we could confirm—something that most would consider risky, but we felt we could trust them from the very beginning.

From our initial call with Richard, we knew this was the right company for us. On the day of our wedding, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Moe as our videographer. Moe went above and beyond—he was not only friendly and talented but also made us feel completely at ease. His professionalism and great energy were exactly what we needed, and we can't wait to see the magic he captured on film!

Dwayne, our photobooth attendant, was equally wonderful, ensuring that everyone was having fun and snapping the best pictures. And DJ Seth? He kept the party alive! Not only did he meet every single one of our requests, but he also offered suggestions for our speeches that were even better than our original plan. The up lighting added a beautiful, special touch to the venue, making everything look even more magical.

We highly recommend Michaels Entertainment for anyone’s wedding. Their team went above and beyond in every way, making our big day absolutely perfect!

Couldn't Be Happier with DJ Cam

We cannot recommend DJ Cam and Michaels Entertainment more! We live in metro-Detroit and knew we wanted to have more of that vibe. We couldn't believe they were willing to come down 3 hours to (small town) Versailles, Ohio to make our dream day a reality!

Richard was so kind and thorough in the first meeting and email exchanges. He was fantastic but already booked, so he recommended a few DJs from their team that may be a good fit, and we couldn't be happier we found DJ Cam!

Cam just has a great energy about him. He was so responsive and helpful leading up to the event via text. We felt like he really understood us and our vibe based on our calls and the questionnaire. He checked in with us throughout the night for timing and to make sure our favorite songs got played. He kept people on the dance floor, was super flexible, and helped everything keep moving along.

The day flew by so fast, my only regret is that there wasn't more time for my husband and I to dance more! **Highly, highly** recommend Michaels Entertainment and DJ Cam!! Thank you both for making our day perfect!

Cameron was the BEST!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Cam for our wedding. He was professional, fun, easy to work with, and all around excellent. One of my bridesmaids said that he made her feel so at ease when we were all getting ready for our entrance into the reception hall! 5 STAR DJ and MC for your Wedding!

We were so lucky to have Dennis as our Wedding DJ at the Olde Farmhouse Barn in Marshall MI!! He did an excellent job on the day of the wedding and was great to work with! He came right on time and he finished setting up way before said time which was a huge plus for me. He was very helpful in the planning stages, working with us to ensure we had songs picked out that worked well for different parts of the wedding, making sure that our music tastes were represented as well as requests from guests, as well as his own spin on things. The day of, we were so happy with the music selection throughout the day, the ceremony, dinner, and the reception. He worked with us to ensure that the music for our dances were timed correctly, and that all went very smoothly. Later in the night, he made sure everyone was having a great time on the dance floor and did a great job reading the room with a diverse mix of different ages and groups of people. We can't recommend him enough!!

Amazing DJ!

Michaels entertainment did a phenomenal job and was a pleasure to work with. DJ Dustin’s announcements were organized and timely, and his song choices were spot on for the dancing. Everyone talked about how good the dj was, and he really took the party to the next level. Our venue was Vale Royal Barn in Fenton and he was able to use multiple locations with speakers/microphones for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception with ease. Best company!

The best company hands down!!! Our wedding was 6/14/24 at Silver Shores in Wyandotte and WOW!!! It truly was my husband's and I's best day of our lives!!! Richard went above and beyond at the DJ table. He had every single and I mean every single person on that dance floor the WHOLE time. Cass did an amazing job at the photo booth and made everyone feel beautiful and welcomed! Jestice & Lesley were amazing videographers! I cannot wait to see my video! Best Wedding Playlist ever!

I am so happy we selected Michaels Entertainment for our DJ and Photobooth services for our wedding at Pine Knob Mansion. My fiancé and I had a vision for a rock concert themed wedding and Seth and his team jumped in with both feet. We cultivated a playlist of rock ballads and songs from our favorite bands. We received a million compliments on the playlist throughout the day. Thank you Seth, Ricky and Christy for doing everything to make it awesome. After the ceremony, it started raining pretty hard with no sign of relief on the radar. Switching gears to move inside for the evening I know wasn't part of the plan but the team made it happen seamlessly. We finished the night rocking out indoors and had an amazing time!

75th Anniversary K of C Event

We used Michaels Entertainment for a 75th Anniversary event. Our DJ Jon and Photo Booth Chris made it a huge success! It was an older crowd and people were always on the dance floor until the end! The photo booth brought much laughter and memories for the crowd to keep. I can only imagine how great they would be for a wedding! They were very professional, provided quality entertainment and were very easy to work with! Also loved their choices of music as well as our requests which made it a fun evening for all! Michaels Entertainment was nothing less than absolutely phenomenal!! While looking for a DJ for our wedding I narrowed it down to 10 different companies and, after speaking with Richard, our choice was clear. Their prices are more than reasonable and their customer service is superb! We chose Peter as our DJ and could not have made a better choice (though I'm sure all their DJ's are equally as fantastic) - he went over our forms with us in detail a few days before the wedding and everything went off without a hitch. Peter listened to all my requests and made sure we had the most perfect day! When it came to choosing songs to fill in the gaps between our must and maybe plays, he knew exactly how to keep the party going. We also booked our photo booth through them and our attendant, Gerald, was also absolutely amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend booking them for any event but especially something as important as your wedding - they know what they're doing!! Could not be happier!

We were so lucky to have had Michaels Entertainment as our DJ, up-lighting, and photo booth for our wedding day. Seth and Tommy went above all expectations. Seth was super friendly and personable and smiled the WHOLE NIGHT, he clearly loves what he does and it shows. Even the sales person we spoke to, Richard, was amazing to work with. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, and Seth knew exactly what would get the party going, and even better - he knew WHEN to do it. We bundled with the up-lighting package and we are so happy we did - the pictures are AMAZING because of this special touch. Amazing!!!

We had DJ Richard for our wedding in October 2023.
I can not say enough positive things about our experience. Every part of planning he was great to communicate with, made everything simple and easy, and the day of could not have gone better. We had a great time, all of our ideas came to life and out guests had an amazing time!

Hire Micheals Entertainment and Hire DJ Cam. Thank me later.

We couldn't be happier with our choice with Michaels Entertainment to DJ/MC our wedding last weekend! DJ Cam was fantastic to work with. He has a great presence on the mic and kept the dance floor packed. He was very prepared, friendly, and kept the energy turned up from start to finish. He CRUSHED IT.

Michaels made everything very easy on us from the first phone call we had with Richard, to the in-depth questionnaire which guided us through the entire evening playlist. They provide videos of their DJs so that you can get a sense of their experience and personalities and they maintain contact with friendly reminders to reassure you that they're on top of everything.

I would highly recommend Michaels to anyone seeking a DJ for their wedding or for any other occasion. If you don't check them out, you're making a mistake.

PS... Make sure you ask if Cam is available for your date because he was amazing. Thank you Michaels, and especially thank you Cam.

Best Wedding DJ Ever!

We loved our DJ, Richard, from Michael's Entertainment! We saw Richard at a friend's wedding a couple of years ago and we couldn't picture anyone else being our DJ. We reached out to him on a limb thinking he could not make it, especially since he's based in Michigan and we live in Ohio. Fortunately for us, he said he could make it work! Richard was a pleasure to work with, he was extremely professional, and he was able to accommodate all of our requests in a seamless fashion. He was also able to keep the dance floor alive all night long! Most importantly, though, he was really positive, joyful, and confident, which made it really easy to trust him with guiding our reception. We might be biased, but we think he is the wedding DJ we have ever heard!

Amazing Photo booth

Seth Michael's Team did a great job with the photo booth for my wedding at Silver Shores. From coordination, logistics, payment, and the attendant working the booth. Ben was very professional and so were the photos. I also have a keepsake of all the photos everyone took during the party to look back on. I would recommend it for your upcoming wedding or party.

Michaels Entertainment - DJ Seth

We received so many compliments throughout the night about DJ Seth. He kept our dance floor full the entire night! He was so professional to work with, communicating with us prior to the wedding about the schedule and pronunciation of names. Due to the size of our venue, we were worried about the sound of the mic for speeches and Seth reassured us that he would have it set up so no one in the room would have trouble hearing. He used some of the songs we gave him to build a playlist that kept our family and friends having fun on the dance floor. We would highly recommend Michaels Entertainment and DJ Seth!

Amazing service

We are SO happy we went with Michaels Entertainment to DJ our wedding. Mark was our DJ, and he was awesome.
Michaels Entertainment is extremely thorough when helping to plan the evening, which I appreciated immensely. Mark not only did a fantastic job playing music and keeping the dance floor full, he was also a huge reason why the day ran smoothly and on schedule.
I cannot recommend Mark and Michaels Entertainment more. One of the highlights of our day 10000%!!!

A night to remember!

Highly, highly recommend Michaels Entertainment!! We had our wedding at Planterra Conservatory and DJ Seth was a true professional through and through. When we had curve balls thrown at us, he handled it impeccably well and we appreciate him and the team for everything to keep the event moving. Guests were complimenting us all night on the music and high energy. When unexpected things happen it’s great to know we can have trust in people to make sure it all works out and we felt like everything was able to happen as planned. They answered all of our questions and emails in a timely manner along the way and helped us organize a timeline.

The photo-booth attendant Taryn was fantastic and had everything in order and displayed so beautifully. She was communicative the week of the wedding to make sure we were satisfied.

Finally the videography team and Jestice were on point. They started the day with me at The Daxton Hotel and made it priority to get all the special moments captured. They were so skilled and were very fun to work with throughout the evening.

Overall, they didn't miss a beat and we are so appreciative they gave us a night to remember.

Professional and friendly team!

We had our wedding at the Rust Belt in Ferndale! We’re thrilled with how everything turned out with Michaels Entertainment! DJ Seth did an amazing job at keeping the energy all night. The dance floor was never empty! Seth is extremely professional, approachable and accommodating. My husband wrote and recorded a song that Seth included in our ceremony. He helped the evening flow so well from cocktail hour, the ceremony, to speeches/toasts and party time!

We’re receiving many compliments about the music, photobooth and vendor team. We especially love the photobooth memory book, it’s such a nice touch and we will always love looking back at it and the sweet notes our guests left us.

We communicated mainly with Richard and Seth throughout this whole process. They're incredibly helpful and timely with their responses. Their organization is top notch which is so appreciated for busy couples! The make everything so easy with their online forms.

This entire team is so friendly and was the perfect addition to our wedding day! We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!

Must book!!

Michaels Entertainment is a must book for your wedding day! DJ Richard had the entire wedding dancing all night and everyone is still raving about his music. Leading up to the wedding, Michaels Entertainment was incredible to work with and answered any and all questions. Amazing DJ experience for our wedding celebration

We hired Michael's Entertainment to DJ our wedding celebration and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for entertainment services. DJ Simeon did exactly what we had asked for, played a great mix of music, and kept our guests happy and on the dance floor. My husband kept commenting on how nice, personable and professional he was. Best dj ever!

We booked DJ Richard for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Shinola Hotel. He was referred to us by another person in the wedding industry. He exceeded our expectations! He was so professional, polite, and kept our dance floor going all night long. Music was very important to us and we wanted to make sure it was a reflection of our taste. It was a perfect mix all the way through the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had so many guests come up to us during and after our wedding and commented on how good our DJ was. Highly recommend Richard! He will not disappoint!!

The best DJ you could ask for!

Seth went above and beyond for our wedding at Venue One Eleven and he did absolutely amazing. We were so happy with picking him as our DJ. Everyone was raving about him and how they loved how he got out on the dance floor. We could not have done it without him.
He is a very sweet person and he is very good at reading the room. I would highly suggest picking Seth as your DJ for your wedding, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Company for Wedding!

I used Michael's Entertainment for my wedding recently and they were absolutely AMAZING. We had Richard as our DJ, Jestice as our videographer, and Taryn ran our photo booth. From the moment that we showed interest in booking this company for our wedding to the actual day of our wedding, they were beyond attentive to our wants/needs, accommodating, professional, and flexible. I was in contact with Richard throughout my planning process and he was very easily accessible, ALWAYS responding to my emails with answers and information in an extremely quick timeframe. Our wedding day went so smoothly and we had so much fun all thanks to these amazing individuals with Michael's Entertainment. Richard had so much positive and fun energy, constantly checked in with myself and my husband to make sure everything was going good and assessing our needs, and he was so great with reading the crowd and keeping our friends and family on the dance floor. Jestice ensured we were getting all the video footage we wanted captured throughout the day, was SO easy to communicate with, and was always making sure things were going great. We already saw a sneak peek of our video and he did such an amazing job! Taryn ran our photo booth and was so great capturing such fun photos of our friends and family and organizing our photo album perfectly to take home that night. I cannot thank these three enough for making sure we had the best day and I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family for their future events. Thank you so much!

Oh, what a night!

DJ Seth Michaels made our wedding day the most memorable celebration we could have asked for. Not only is he the kindest person to deal with but he is a seasoned DJ which means he knows which songs are going to fill up the dance floor with your guests and which ones are going to clear it. Seth did an amazing job keeping us to our timeline but was also flexible so we could shift things around as needed. He was lively, charismatic, and very professional.
His sister- Chloe Michaels- did our wedding video and she absolutely nailed it! She was so sweet and made us feel very comfortable. The video came out better than we could have imagined, and the drone shots really elevated the whole production. We are so happy with how everything turned out and we are so grateful to both Seth and Chloe for making our wedding day come to life with their artistic touches.

Best party ever!!!

We had Quinton (DJ Q) for our wedding and we couldn't have had a better experience. Quinton called the week leading up to the wedding and went over all the major songs, requests, and timeline. Our ceremony songs were queued up perfectly. At our reception, our entrances were so fun and the songs worked just as I imagined. I have never seen a more lively dance floor than at my wedding, all thanks to Quinton! He also made sure to check in on us throughout the night and make sure things were running smooth on our end.

AMAZING! Hire immediately

I would HIGHLY recommend DJ Seth for your wedding day or event. We had a destination wedding and had a home wedding celebration at The Myth Golf & Banquets. From the positive reviews and feedback, I was intrigued when I found Michaels Entertainment. From the first conversation I had with Richard to the end of the celebration with Seth, their company was professional, proficient, and went above and beyond our expectations. The week of the celebration, we added music outside the venue as there is a large outdoor patio at the Myth. Seth did not hesitate to meet our needs and was there early to set up his equipment. Any change that needed to be made on the day of the reception; he accommodated every request. His positive energy and upbeat personality matched the energy of the room and we had so many positive comments from our guests. His music choices reflected the energy of the room and kept everyone having a great time. Our dance floor was never empty. We cannot thank Seth and Michaels Entertainment for their services and would tell anyone in the future to use their team!

The ideal DJ and Videographer for your wedding!

Wow! DJ Richard was AMAZING. We enjoyed working with him from the start of our inquiry to the day of our wedding. He truly listens and goes by your requests of the feel and experience of music you are looking for. He has a calmness and reassurance for all things leading up to, and on the day of, the wedding. 100% will refer him to anyone looking for a DJ - he is so genuine!!

We also worked with their videographer, Eze. He was working hard all throughout the day of our wedding to capture the best of moments and we felt the reassurance all throughout.

They are a great team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding services! Great job to their team and thank you for a fun evening!!

Outstanding DJ!

We had an amazing time working with Michaels Entertainment for our wedding reception! We had originally planned a 2021 reception but unfortunately needed to postpone to 2022. We worked with Richard throughout the first year, and he was great to collaborate with. Once we postponed, Richard was unavailable for our new date, so we continued the process with Seth.

Seth asked many detailed questions about the type of music we wanted and the order of events for the evening. On the day of our reception, we had a couple last-minute changes, and Seth was very flexible. He kept our timeline in mind but wasn't pushy, and instead kept checking in with us to make sure we were ready to move on. We got multiple comments on how great Seth was and how much fun the entire evening was!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and we would not hesitate to recommend Seth and Michaels Entertainment to everyone!

The Right DJ and Team for Us!

Nothing but praise and compliments to DJ Kevin and the entire Michael's Entertainment team for making our recent wedding reception a complete success.

First of all, the Michael's Entertainment team smoothly addressed the change of DJ necessitated by our initial DJ's contracting COVID. DJ Kevin proved a perfect replacement for us. He dove right in and worked closely with us to learn what kind of feel we wanted and where we needed his guidance. It was a great partnership, as we came to the table with a lot of specific music and DJ Kevin brought his expertise in mixing it together into an evening of seamless flow and entertainment.

All the touchpoints of the reception went flawlessly, and Kevin worked closely with us to handle a small schedule adjustment that arose. He didn't miss a beat, flowing from one moment to the next, until the open dancing began. Once the party started, it was fire. There wasn't a moment when the energy level dropped, as Kevin mixed our tapestry of songs into a weave of music genius. Yes, that may sound like we're laying it on thick, but we mean it, and it's the truth.

We're middle-aged, so our crowd was older than most weddings, but there was never a moment when different people weren't drawn to the dance floor. And towards the end, they were even drawn onto the DJ stage itself into the most intense dancing of the night.

Oh, and I wanted to mention how pleased we were with the use of the advanced lighting set. They accented the ballroom beautifully without detracting from it, and it really helped amplify the dancing without distracting.

We genuinely appreciated the synergy we had with Kevin and the entire Michael's Entertainment team. We would gladly recommend them to others.

Best Night Ever!

Michael's Entertainment was such an incredible team to partner with during our wedding planning! Seth DJ'd our ceremony and reception and took every request and recommendation we had without hesitation. The music was exactly what we wanted and all our guests spent the whole night on the dance floor! Seth was very engaging and kind and the wedding party loved that he was as much in on the party as the rest of the guests. We also used Michaels for our videography and it was everything we could have dreamed of! We got an incredible highlight video just about a week after the wedding and the full film not long after so we could quickly relive all our favorite memories.

Great wedding DJ

We had a great experience with DJ Tim from Michaels Entertainment at our wedding reception! From start to finish, Michaels Entertainment was quick to reply and provided us with all the information we needed. DJ Tim was great to work with. He helped us coordinate the reception and also was flexible as needed. The music he played set each vibe for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing perfectly. The best dj ever!

DJ Seth and Michaels Entertainment are top notch! Seriously, book them! I’m so glad I made the decision to work with Seth. He listened to what we wanted in a DJ and delivered in the best way. He kept our guests out on the dance floor all night long! There were endless smiles, laughter and some pretty fantastic dance moves, not to mention so many awesome picture reels from the photo booth that we’ll be able to look back on years and years from now. Seth was very professional, has a streamlined process for music selection and a high-quality sound system. From the music played while I walked down the aisle, to cocktail hour, to the reception – Michaels Entertainment exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day unforgettable!

The best!

To say that DJ Eddy did an amazing job at our wedding would be an understatement. We had our wedding at The Community House in Birmingham, Michigan. From our first conversation, Eddy was extremely kind and made the planning process exciting. He was a great MC and a fantastic DJ. He had the dance floor filled all night and knew exactly the style of music that we wanted. We had so many guests say he was one of the best DJs they have ever seen at a wedding.

We got married at Paint creek country club in lake Orion this past Saturday and had Richard from Michaels Entertainment as our DJ. This was particularly special to us because we have been friends with Richard ever since our high school years! We had been warned not to do that, but I’ve seen Richard and Seth grow into such a successful and professional entertainment company I knew it would be great; and it was!

Richard has the COOLEST voice and it so down to earth. He worked so well with the other vendors I literally didn’t have to worry about anything. He made my childhood dream of a full dance floor with all my friends and family dancing to the Macarena come true and for that I will be ever grateful!

10/10 would recommend.

DJ Richard Summersett is the absolute best DJ ever!

Richard Summersett was an amazing DJ. He was very easy to work with throughout the entire process from the first initial call we had together all the way up until our wedding night. His communication and preparation before the wedding was second to none. He really made sure to get to know us as people and the vibe we were going for. He even helped us come up with ideas for the various songs we were thinking of for our walk out and special dances. The ceremony was flawless, the music transitioned smoothly and the sound quality was perfect. He made a great emcee during our reception as well, directing our flow and keeping the party going all through the reception. Our guests have all commented about what an incredible job he did. I would recommend hiring him for any event!

We Couldn't Be Happier!

We got married at Elizabeth Park in Trenton in July 2021 and booked Michaels Entertainment for DJ and cinematography services. Richard did an incredible job as our DJ. He was very personable, learned everyone’s name, and went above and beyond to provide perfect service. We went over in detail what we wanted played in advance and Richard was phenomenal with the execution. All of the equipment worked flawless; he provided microphones and sound for our ceremony, and the light system he brought for the reception/dancing was out of this world. Sam was our cinematographer and captured great video footage and he even brought a drone. The final product video he created for us is single-handedly our favorite memory from our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with this choice for our wedding!

Stop and Hire this DJ Immediately!!

I am going to try to make this brief but it is going to be so difficult. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Richard and Michaels Entertainment! Me and my husband take our dancing very seriously and knew we had to book the perfect DJ for our wedding. Richard was extremely professional but at our first meeting (a 45 minute phone call) he seemed just as excited to be our DJ as we were to have him! I loved how thorough he was with going over everything, as well as how well their website was set up to make things go smoothly. He was there early, he made great recommendations, and the dance floor was full all night despite our smaller wedding AND it being a Sunday. The pricing was fair and he worked with our budget. We got compliments from start to finish at our wedding for how great Richard was and had many people ask for his contact info. He even kept checking up on us the whole night to make sure we were doing great! We also can’t wait to get our pictures back from the day to see the couple times he hopped on the dance floor with my husband. I am lucky enough to say this about most of the vendors I booked for my wedding, but you can definitely tell that he loves what he does, and it shows in his work. My one and only complaint about Richard is that he has forever ruined future weddings for me. I will walk in, see it is not him, and will be disappointed because no DJ will ever measure up to him.

Richard is the ultimate wedding DJ!

Our wedding was a dream, it literally could not have gone any better. DJ Richard played a HUGE part in that. Our friends (and family! and us!) were so impressed with him-- they kept saying that he was the best wedding DJ that they had ever experienced. SO many people saying it was like being in a club, in the best way. Even the next morning, we were still hearing rave reviews for Richard. We were so happy with the music selection throughout the night, and Richard managed to keep the party going until the very end.

Richard handled the ceremony sound as well and all went smoothly. Music came in and out at just the right time, and the sound setup seemed to be solid for our vows as well as the reading and a solo singing performance.

Richard was also just so calm and soothing throughout the whole day. Even when the rain changed up our plans, he made sure that no matter where the ceremony was taking place, everything would turn out right.

Thank you DJ Richard of Michaels Entertainment for making our day so special, we would recommend you in a heartbeat to our friends and family!

Best DJ Ever!

I cannot say enough good things about Michaels Entertainment. Not only did they do an amazing job at our wedding, they also outdid themselves at two of our friends weddings! They are so personable and made the night from start to finish. They exceeded every expectation we could possibly have and we could not have had a better night because of them. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

Richard Summersett with Michaels Entertainment was our wedding DJ on September 10, 2021 and it was the absolute BEST experience we have ever had. Richard was, hands down, the best DJ I've ever heard and we have been to SO many weddings, especially this year. During my INITIAL meeting with Richard prior to booking him as our wedding DJ, I felt such an instant connection to his kindness, humor and how personable he was that I contacted my mom to rave about how I just hit the jackpot!!! After booking, I felt so confident in our decision to choose him to DJ our wedding!!! We had a final meeting a few days before our wedding and he went over EVERY little detail with me from the start of the day to the final moments of our reception. We had such a great time planning out the day together and it made me even more excited for our wedding!!

Richard arrived to the venue with PLENTY of time to set up, run a sound check and make time to introduce himself to both myself and my *now* husband! He was just as warm and personable in person! The ceremony was run perfectly, and that continued throughout cocktail hour and reception. ALL throughout the night, Richard came up to my fiancee and me to make sure the music was great and we were satisfied with how it was all going. I have NEVER heard of this and it was so wonderful to have a say throughout the night. (Of course we requested NO changes because he was doing such a great job already!!

During the reception, SO many guests came up to us to compliment Richard and how fabulously he was running the reception music... there was literally not ONE bad song played and the dancefloor was PACKED for 4 hours straight!! It kept getting better and better! I cannot speak more highly of Richard and Michaels Entertainment :)

The morning after, SEVERAL guests (from our wedding party and best friends to aunts/uncles to friends of our parents) asked for the name of our DJ in order to hopefully use them for future weddings coming up in the next couple of years. I even had people reach out to us to inquire about our DJ company in order for THEM to leave positive feedback and reviews online!! That is UNHEARD of!!!! I got more compliments on our DJ than any other aspect of our wedding.. and as everyone knows, the DJ is the most important part of the day so that says a LOT!!!! (I even had a few people vocalize that they wished they knew about Michaels Entertainment before booking their own upcoming wedding DJ because they would have booked him in a heartbeat!!)

Richard was SO phenomenal and all of my wedding party/guests connected with him in such a special way!! He felt almost like a friend by the end of the night and I will recommend him to ANYONE getting married in the future looking for a great DJ :)

Could not have asked for a better DJ!!

To all future brides and grooms, we highly recommend booking Michael’s entertainment for their dj services and more. We booked the whole package with Michael’s including the up lighting, dj, cinematography and photo booth and it was worth every penny!

Dj— Richard was awesome!!!!!!! From our first phone call when we were learning about Michaels Entertainment, Richard was professional, down to earth, and focused on listening to our vision for the day. He was so friendly and talked to us multiple times through our wedding planning to make sure that he could make our wedding celebration one to remember! We worked through the dj ceremony and reception guides to understand our vibes and during our wedding he checked in multiple times to make sure the music was on point! Richard was so warm and welcoming to our wedding party and our wedding guests and was truly focused on making sure that everyone had the best time!!

Cinematography— Jestice was so great! He made sure that he knew what our hopes were of our wedding video and made sure he captured exactly what we wanted including all of our details. Jestice made it feel so natural for us when shooting some gorgeous shots.

Photo booth— we used the photo booth for our guest favors and guest book which was a gorgeous black leather book provided by Michael’s!!! Our guests had so much fun with all of the props and the photos turned out amazing! There were problems with the wifi which prohibited our guests from receiving their photos but they fedexed our guest book and all of the photos to us within a couple of weeks.

Couldn’t have imagined any other dj for our special day!! Thank you Michael’s!!!!

DJ Ryan is Amazing!

I had the pleasure of having Ryan attend and MC/DJ our wedding this weekend. We were absolutely thrilled to have him as a part of our day. He was kind, energetic, and he made our night one to never forget. Our guests are continuing to talk about how well our music playlist fit our personalities and how much fun everyone had. I secretly said to my husband Nick during dinner, “it’s like he looked through my Spotify when planning this playlist!” He also took requests to make sure our guests loved the music he was playing as much as we did! Fantastic!!

Michaels Entertainment is amazing. Everybody we spoke with was extremely kind and professional. Richard and DJ Tim were quick to respond and they had an answer for every question we had. Our ceremony had very particular timing with our music and DJ Tim made it seem like a breeze. During the reception, multiple people came up to me and told me how great our DJ was.

My husband and I are so thrilled to leave an amazing review. This is the review we wrote about Michael's Entertainment and while it is long it is 100% true. We cannot recommend them enough.

Richard was by far the BEST DJ we have ever encountered. From the first meeting over the phone we knew we had found the perfect DJ for our wedding. And boy....were we right!

From a bride's perspective Richard made everything so incredibly easy. He was so organized, even in our phone calls prior to the wedding. He had great thoughts and offered his ideas and answered all our questions.

The day of the wedding when we finally got to meet him we were blown away. We knew he was going to fit right in with our families and the crowd.

He introduced himself immediately and from that moment on he was in contact with us throughout the night.

When we first spoke, he had asked what our expectations were, and I mentioned that I really needed a DJ who could keep track of our timeline and keep us informed. And that is EXACTLY what he did.

He and my photographer were working in such an amazing tandem.

We LOVED seeing him on the dance floor because in my mind it helped get people right on the dance floor from the first song. And people did not leave the dance floor. Let us tell you...

The dance floor was crowded all night! This was our greatest desire (besides getting married of course) that people would have such a great time and dance the night away. There were truly some people who hardly left the dance floor. Richard's ability to keep the dance floor full was exceptional. Not only that but he played an amazing variety of songs including some Hispanic favorites of my mother's side of the family.

We also loved that he brought his father along. Family is so important to us and that was so great to see!

Richard practically became part of our family for the night. I don't think we can say enough good things.

We have been talking about it for days and will be forever!

Thank you for being part of our day. We were incredibly honored to have such a great DJ bring with not only talent but one who truly cared about making it an amazing unforgettable night for all.

People ask us "was your wedding everything you ever wanted?" And we can say with absolute confidence "yes!" because we had the most amazing crew of people from the DJ to the photographer to the guests.

Wedding Entertainment the Right Way!

We can't begin to thank Michaels Entertainment making our wedding day Amazing!
Our Port Huron venue cancelled on us 14 days before our Wedding! Richard calmly reassured us that we would figure everything out, emailed us venue suggestions and in the end agreed to travel with us to Toledo/Perrysburg!
We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and our banquet reception was better than we imagined it would be!
Richard played all of our requests, kept our guests interacting, laughing and having a memorable time! The bride and guests loved dancing the Wobble with Richard! Sound was perfect and mics were ready any moment, even for mom! 😂 We had so many guests asking for Michaels Entertainment business cards! Richard is part of the family now and we can't wait to party with him again!

Best DJ ever!

Seth and his team did an INCREDIBLE job! We knew from the very first call we had with them that we wanted them to DJ for our wedding. We could tell that are truly passionate about what they do. From that day and up until the wedding day, they were very responsive, knowledgeable, and just fun to talk to! They were understanding when we moved our date due to covid and made a point to check in with us as the wedding date grew closer. Seth paid attention to every detail and really made an effort to understand what we were looking for and he even got out on the dance floor with us to demonstrate dances and keep the party moving. He read the crowd perfectly throughout the entire night. We have received so many compliments from our guests at how good our DJ was. We didn't want the party to end! Highly Recommend!

We had the pleasure of meeting Richard, Seth, and Dennis from Michaels Entertainment. Due to covid we had venue/date changes and these guys were nothing but very understanding, responsive, and accommodating. Seth called us for a “final details” call to go over everything and help us put a timeline together. He was very knowledgeable of the entire reception process and helped us hash out details we never would have even thought of! Seth was very upbeat, professional, and really got the rooms attention. He was very flexible with any last minute changes during the reception and made sure everything went smoothly. Not to mention the actual music... AWESOME. Honestly the best!

Throughout the pandemic I had to make a few changes with one being my date. Seth was not only available and quick to respond but he also waived any fees related to changing the date. Amazing DJ Choice!

Richard was AMAZING at our wedding! The music was exactly what we wanted, from our ceremony, through dinner, and into the reception. We had guests on the dance floor the entire evening, and I didn't need to check the time once throughout the night as he was always on top of keeping things running on schedule. Can't say enough good things!

Seth was extremely personable and willing to answer any questions we had. Unfortunately due to the restrictions and executive orders of the state of Michigan we were unable to move forward with our day as planned and have Seth be our DJ. Covid changes

Postponement

Best experience

Seth was our DJ for our wedding. The wedding we had to plan in 3 weeks. We got so lucky and grateful that Seth was available as he is normally booked years in advance. The process was easy and the forms were super helpiful to communicate all of the information of songs etc we were looking for. Michaels Entertainment also had a photo booth which was a huge hit with the guests, lights, Videoagrapher and excellent customer service! Our wedding was perfect and we couldn’t be more grateful and appreciative of the copy and more specifically Seth! 💃🏻

Wedding DJ

Seth was absolutely amazing to work with! He did my sisters wedding back in 2014, and I knew as soon as I got engaged that I wanted him as my DJ! He was so professional and extremely responsive. I love that he called us the week before to make sure that he got every detail correct for the big day. He played amazing music and really got the dance floor going. He even came out with us to wobble! I would highly recommend Seth for your next event! Great guy with a great personality!

Michaels Entertainment was Incredible!

Our wedding was on August 8th, 2020 and Michaels Entertainment did a phenomenal job! The music, the videographer, the photo booth, everything was such a hit with everyone that came to the wedding. They were extremely professional and worked so smoothly with the other venders. We would highly recommend them.
