  A pleasure to work with

  We really enjoyed having Michael as our officiant. We wanted something simple, yet unique, and we didn’t really know where to start. He offers fully customized ceremonies, but for my husband and me, his simple ceremony options were perfect. We were able to insert verses and poetry that had meaning to us, and we knew that everything would still flow nicely. Michael was very easy to work with and we’d recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

  Fantastic, warm and funny officiant

  Michael was a wonderful officiant. He provided examples of typical services so that we could design one we liked, and on the day of arrived early and checked in with both myself and my fiance to ensure we were doing well. During the ceremony, he added warmth and humor to the event, which was very much in keeping with the feeling of the day that my fiance and I wanted. I would highly recommend him to any couple seeking an officiant!

  Michael Rye was absolutely wonderful! He was extremely helpful and kind, and did a fantastic job performing our ceremony with all the love and humor we had hoped for. He listened to what was important to us and was a comforting guide through the process. Our wedding and all our guests benefited from having him there. We would definitely recommend Michael to anyone looking for an officiant!

  Amazing officiant!

  Michael officiated my wedding recently and did an amazing job. We found him on short notice and he helped us choose an excellent script for our ceremony! He is very responsive, friendly and informative about the legal steps to get married as well. 10/10!

  We chose Michael in large part because he was so professional. We wanted a short, efficient, and meaningful service, and he sent us several scripts that we could choose from and edit.   Perfect Officiant!

  Michael was a great officiant! He was professional, on time, and very personable. He gave us a lot of freedom deciding what we wanted said for our ceremony, and performed it flawlessly! Michael helped to make our day absolutely perfect.

  Great experience with Michael Rye

  Michael was one of several officiants we interviewed and he was the most warm and courteous of them all. He is genuinely funny but knows when to apply humor. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and would absolutely recommend him to other couples. He had the exact right gravitas but with a light touch. 10/10

  Michael was great from the beginning, he walked me through everything that will happen before, during, and after our ceremony. He was great with answering all questions that we had. When we met Michael the day of our wedding we felt so comfortable with him and really liked how he came and spoke to both of us before walking down the aisle. Lastly, our guests really liked him as well, and said his accent added a special touch to our ceremony. Thank you Michael!

  Cool guy, cooler accent

  Nice Australian guy, was perfect for my small elopement in the park. He was very well spoken was in good spirits the entire time even when we were looking for an open space to hold a quick ceremony.

  Highly Professional and Responsive

  Michael was an excellent officiant for both our civil service and our actual ceremony. Despite having religious family members, we knew we wanted a nonreligious (but still very dignified) service, and Michael helped us tailor everything perfectly. He conducted himself with poise and professionalism, and he won over even our most picky of grandmas. Highly recommended!

  the best officiant ever

  Michael is punctual, warm, friendly and extremely polite. I will recommend him 2000% he made our day a very special date. Very easy going, it will be very easy to coordinate the ceremony with him.

  We had a great time working with Michael Rye as our officiant! He has a great personality (and great speaking voice and accent) and made us feel completely at ease. We knew we were in good hands and could not have asked for the ceremony to have gone more smoothly! Very happy to have worked together!

  Michael was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end, he made very easy for us which we really appreciated. During the ceremony, he arrived early, managed the crowed and gave cues to our guests on when to stand and/or grab a sit. His Australian accent made the experience even better. Highly recommended.   Fantastic!!

  Michael was so amazing to us. From our first meeting, he was funny, lighthearted, and an excellent listener to our wants and needs. Due to COVID, we ended up changing our original plan, and Michael adapted perfectly. We are so grateful we chose Michael as the man to marry us!

  Michael did such a wonderful job officiating our wedding. My husband and I were able to look at different ceremony samples and personalize our wedding. Michael made this process so easy and stress free. He was always available when we had questions and ready to help in any way. We are so grateful for his services and I would highly recommend to any bride on her special day!

  Mr. Rye was excellent on every level!

  Mr. Rye was very helpful & patient with us, we were Blessed to have him officiate our Marriage! We also received our paperwork back from the courthouse extremely fast!! We highly recommend him and will be using Mr Rye again to renew our Vows!
