My son got married on Long Island this June. Our family is not from the area. We hired Metamorphosis - Kara Baker, who did our make-up, and her partner, Faten Peters, who did our hair. We found them on Wedding Wire.
There were 3 of us - myself, my mom and my adult daughter.
We were all VERY pleased with how we looked, both make up and hair. Kara and Faten were both very professional and very personable. They listened to what we wanted and did not push their opinions on us. They had several suggestions when asked, and the suggestions were perfect! Our hair and makeup held up great throughout pictures, ceremony, reception, and even after party!
We did do a trial run in March. That was very helpful as we were able to talk through our ideas and try out what we wanted. It made the wedding day so much less stressful.
Throughout the process, Kara and Faten were very quick to respond to any communications we sent - questions, pictures, and confirmations.
They were early on the day of the wedding so they would have plenty of time to set up without being rushed.
I would highly recommend Kara and Faten for make up and hair!

Working with Kara and Faten for my wedding day was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Kara was my first point of contact and made the process easy with her clear communication and helpfulness. She recommended her colleague Faten for hair, while Kara herself handled makeup, and I can’t recommend them both enough. They were both delightful, punctual, and professional.
Even though I decided to do my makeup trial the day before the wedding (a bold move, I know), everything went smoothly, and I wore the look to my welcome event later that day.
They both listened closely to my feedback and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted, even though I didn’t quite have the vocabulary to express it perfectly. They made thoughtful adjustments until we achieved a look that felt just right—polished, elevated, and still very much me.
On the day of my wedding, we executed the look flawlessly. The word of the day? *Polish!* They also ensured that my mom, my mother-in-law, and everyone in my wedding party looked and felt their best, tailoring their work to each person’s preferences.
I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Thanks to Kara and Faten, I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day. My hair and make up really held up all day! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and professional hair and makeup team.

The best decision you’ll make for your wedding
Kara and Faten were absolutely wonderful. They were professional at all times, patient with everyone in my bridal party, and brought such great vibes to my wedding morning which helped set the tone for the day. They made me feel comfortable speaking up about what I liked and did not like, and made sure before they left that everyone had everything they needed. I felt so confident with my final look and the pictures turned out perfectly.
I can’t say enough great things about this team. I was referred to them through a friend who been a bridesmaid in about 15 weddings and she said they are the only hair/makeup team that she would recommend to anyone. I’m so happy to have worked with them!

Wonderful team - strongly recommend!
After finding Meta on Instagram, I was connected with Melissa and Amina for makeup and hair. They both were extremely responsive and organized from day one and even traveled to my apartment for a trial. Both were receptive to feedback and quick to pull ideas from the reference photos I’d gathered. Melissa was also wonderful with my mother who'd never had makeup professionally done before.
On the day-of, Melissa and Amina were on time with their teams and finished our bridal group ahead of schedule. I really appreciated their upbeat, calm energy and all the girls looked absolutely beautiful and were happy with their looks - which held up in the summer heat and through non-stop dancing all night. Kara & Faten are the dream team. I am beyond happy I chose them for my wedding and if I had to do it all over again I would still choose them. I work nights and my schedule is hard to work with but they still found a way to work with me. When I had a million questions they responded promptly and were so helpful and professional about everything. The work they did was amazing, I got so many compliments about the hair and make up. By the time my wedding came around I felt comfortable with them and it felt as though they were there celebrating with me and my family. They helped calm me down when I was a bundle of nerves & truly helped make my day special. I was in love with my hair and make up and everyone else showered me with compliments. Amanda crystal-hands down the best
From the very beginning-first makeup artist I tried-I knew Amanda was the one to beat! She is always so happy and peppy and I love that about her. She knows how to get the look you want and she goes above and beyond to make you feel so beautiful! She is one of those people that you interact with and wonder how anyone can be that amazing all the time. I feel as though I've known her for years, she made me feel so comfortable and she really listened to everything I wanted. She even did a second trial super early in the morning for me the day I went for my first fitting so I could see it all together! Sarah Goldberg was AMAZING. She fulfilled every bridal party members request and brought the best energy to the day! Sarah was accommodating, light hearted, and always has a smile. Tamara is the hair QUEEN. She handled my ever changing requests and worked with me on what was going to really make me comfortable on my wedding day. My sister had a problem with my dress and Tamara jumped in to help even though that’s totally not her job. Tamara and Sarah are what every bride wants to be around on the morning of her wedding. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful my experience was with Sarah Goldberg. Sarah is not only extremely talented, but she is a just an amazing human being. She was so patient and understanding when I was nervous, and made me feel so comfortable.
When the pandemic struck, she was extremely flexible and understanding when I had to switch my date twice. When the new date ended up being in the middle of a hurricane, she came in all smiles! My makeup stayed perfect even with all of the dancing and tears! I would LOVE to work with Sarah again and would highly recommend her!!

I am so excited that Jazmin did hair for my wedding day on June 26th. When she did my trial a couple weeks before, she was able to give me the exact look I wanted in about 30 minutes, so I felt very confident about her for my wedding day. She did an amazing job doing my mother-in-law's up-do and my up-do. It stayed in for the entire 8 hours of the wedding and it got so many compliments. The most magical day!
Kara and Tamara were absolute ANGELS from the moment we met. They are both kind, loving, sweet, patient and so beautiful. My husband and I got married in the summer of 2020, when covid restrictions were constantly changing and unpredictable. My then makeup artist cancelled two weeks before our wedding and I was left scrambling. Luckily a close friend of mine recommended Sarah Goldberg, who immediately accepted. I have had my makeup done by other professionals before, but truly nothing has even come close to Kara's work. She has done my makeup twice and for each event I was always astonished at the outcome. After 16 hours of dancing and pictures in the hot June sun, my makeup looked just as good as when she initially did it. Truly. I took a before and after picture and there was no difference. everyone was commenting on how well my makeup looked by the end of the night each I have oily skin, so, usually my makeup is melting off my face by the end of the night but that never happened when kara did my makeup. Furthermore, I have acne prone, sensitive skin and makeup of any kind usually makes me breakout; however, my face somehow felt better and healthier after I took my makeup off (which is something I have never experienced in my life). I accredit this to the high quality products she uses. Before putting on my makeup, she cleans each brush and does a high quality skin care routine with serums and lotions to prime and protect my skin. Her work is absolutely incredible. She truly uses the highest quality products, (WAY better than other make up artists I have tried in the past). On-top of her amazing work, I find Kara herself to be a professional, kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and reliable person. she has squeezed me in on a moments notice due to an event change and always responds in a timely manner. I cannot sing her praises enough. You will not be disappointed.
The photos below of my in the velvet green dress are taken 9 hours apart. The first one at the wedding ceremony around 2pm and the selfie was taken in the bathroom at the afterparty late that night. The other is from my wedding. I did not receive the photographers photos yet but everyone even noticed how well it lasted! even made it through my husband putting cake on my nose lol.

We had the best experience with Kara & Faten! The two of them made myself, my bridesmaids and my mom feel so beautiful. Faten had so much patience with my sister while she tried hair style after hair style and encouraged my mom to go for extensions (which looked AMAZING). My hair was incredible and I received so many compliments. Kara is incredibly talented and did a spectacular job on my makeup. It looked so natural but DEFINITELY bridal. She also didn't skip a beat when my mom changed her lip color 45 million times ;) Kara and Faten were incredible and I am so happy I was able to work with them. Wedding Day during covid-19
So my experience with metamorphosis was phenomenal. I found them at a wedding expo that I attended when looking for a vendor for hair and make up. Victoria Drago linked me to my vendors, Stephanie on Make-up and Tamara to do my hair for the big day. I did purchase a wedding trial for both hair & make up and I absolutely loved my look at the end. My hair was the exact way I wanted it to be. Even better than the picture that I showed Tamara. And Stephanie did such an amazing job with my make up. I used airbrush for the 1st time and it was FLAWLESS!! The day of the wedding was absolutely insane as there was so much going on behind the scenes that I could have never thought of. I have a one year old daughter who was still nursing. And unfortunately I didn't have much help. Needless to say Stephanie and Tamara really stepped up when it came to helping me with my daughter and also keeping me calm before the ceremony. Which they didn't have to do. The venue even lost power at some point. And through it all
Tamara and Stephanie remained professional and calm the entire time with no air conditioner and power coming from a generator. they still did such an awesome job. And I literally do not know what I have done without them. they catered to my every need every step of the way and I couldn't be more grateful. My pictures came out stunning and I made friends at the end of it all. I cannot wait to use their services again. As soon as covid-19 is over I'm gonna schedule a date with my new husband and I cannot wait to book Stephanie and Tamara just to be pampered all over again. I'm so grateful for the experience that a shared with these beautiful ladies and if I could rate this a 10 stars or more I would

Amazing Hair and Makeup!
My husband and I were married on September 1, 2019 at Pellegrini Vineyards. My makeup was done by Nicole and my hair was done by Kristen. I cannot say enough good things about both of them. I did a trial with them both, and took pictures at my engagement shoot after, and they came out absolutely amazing! I told Nicole I wanted a full glam look and not to hold back. Nicole used the most full lashes, air brush foundation, and a full smoky glam eye. She not only made my vision come true, but she made me look absolutely incredible! My husband was obsessed with the makeup too! It also lasted forever with absolutely zero caking or creasing. Kristen was incredibly patient and sweet with me, as I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do with my hair. Eventually, we tried several different styles and I decided on what I wanted to do. My hair was absolutely perfect, and it lasted all night, even after dancing for hours! Both Nicole and Kristen also worked on my wedding party, and they all looked beautiful as well!

First off, it is amazing that this company has both hairstylist and makeup artist working as a team. They traveled to me which was a super plus as driving to other vendors was so time consuming. My makeup artist Kara is so talented with a great personality. My hairstylist Faten is a doll and made my hair amazing. They are both excellent in communication right away and arrived early on day of my trial and wedding. You will not be disappointed at all with them. I felt like the most beautiful bride...
I had the pleasure of working with Jenny (makeup) and Kristen (hair) for my wedding. From my trial with them, I knew I made the right decision to use them for my wedding. They had to be at my house extremely early and never once complained, they were there on time and ready to go. Between my hair and makeup, I felt like the most beautiful bride on my big day and got SO many compliments about how stunning I looked! My bridal party looked amazing as well! They made sure everyone was happy with the final result and were so patient! They were the BEST and I'd highly recommend them. I want to have another party so that I could use them again.

Amazing!
Amina and Kara and their team were AMAZING! They did me and my bridesmaids' hair and make up beautifully. They were able to work with all different styles. But they are so much more than make up artists and hair stylists. They were by my side the whole time keeping me calm and helping me during the photos. I am so grateful to them! I hired Sarah Goldberg to do my bridal makeup. She did such an amazing job. I was beyond excited and pleased with how great my makeup looked. Sarah took her time and delivered exactly what I had imagined for my special day. I wanted my makeup to look natural and last longing I couldn’t have been happier with the final result. I met Sarah at a wedding expo and instantly felt comfortable with her. She came to my home for a demo and we had a ball trying different looks. What I loved most was her attention to detail, my desire for my special day, and her patience. The day of the wedding, Sarah’s energy was positive and upbeat. Amazing work and great to work with
Dayna and Faten were amazing! They were so easy to work with and friendly. They came to my apartment in the city for the trial and made it a really fun afternoon. They did an incredible job making me look and feel like a princess but not going over the top, so it still felt very natural. My entire family and bridal party were raving about their work and what great people they were to have around as we were all getting ready. Highly recommend!

What an Amazing Experience!
For the day of my wedding Stephanie went above and beyond her job duties. She was with me from the start of the day and helped me so much. She did an amazing job with my makeup, helped me get into my dress, put on the final details, and calmed me down during those moments of nervousness. Afterwards, she met me in the evening before the reception began, so that she could retouch my makeup. Stephanie was one of the essential parts of my wedding and it wouldn’t have been the same without her. She will be my forever makeup lady. Thank you so much Stephanie Molina!

Absolutely amazing experience!
I had the pleasure of having Vicky Drago as my makeup artist for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers of the bride and groom. I found Metamorphosis on weddingwire and sent an email inquiring about a makeup artist for my April 2019 wedding. Vicky got back to me promptly and we were able to set up a trial. She came to me and my maid of honor and I had the pleasure of getting to know her while I was getting my makeup done. The trial was FLAWLESS and I ended up booking Vicky for my wedding and my bridal shower. I received so many compliments about my makeup at the bridal shower and at my wedding. It looked absolutely stunning! The makeup lasted all day easily and looked better than what I could have ever imagined. Vicky was easy to work with, punctual, prompt in all of our correspondence, and most of all kind hearted and fun! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a makeup artist!! I hope I get the pleasure of using her again for a future occasion.

I had the PLEASURE of having Samantha L. as my make-up artist for my wedding 5/5/19. After the most horrific trial, I didn't know what to do! Someone referred me to Samantha and with only a few weeks prior to my wedding she was able to accommodate me and was so patient and professional! She was absolutey amazing. My make up was on point all night! I received so many comments and never had to touch up aside from my lips! My mother as well as my bridal party of 3 also had makeup done by Samantha and remained flawless all night! Highly recommend her- I will certainly be reaching out to her for all future events!

Sarah is amazing. She traveled all the way to Texas to help make my day special. She was very professional and on time with the time schedule she set for us. Will forever be my go-to for future occasions!
Alaina was my hairstylist for my wedding day and I cannot even begin to explain how absolutely amazing she is! From the very beginning, she made me feel so comfortable and she really made me feel so excited to get married. I was never really set on what I wanted for my wedding day, so she was so incredibly helpful with advice and encouragement. I suffer from severe anxiety and she just put me at ease! On the day of the wedding, I simply showed her pictures of how I want everyone's hair to be done, and she was such a professional and did everyone's hair exactly like the Pinterest pictures. My mom did not know how she wanted her hair, so Alaina helped her out along the way. She is just a fun person to be with so she made the morning so much fun for all of us getting ready. It did not even feel like she was just there because it was her job; it really felt like she was genuinely a part of my special day. My hairstyle for my wedding day was perfect in every way and it stayed in place for the whole entire day! I would definitely come to her again for future occasions! And you will not regret choosing her for your special day!

Winter wedding
I had Alaina for my hair and Dayna for my make up for my winter wedding and they were absolutely amazing! I had two trials prior to my wedding and they went over everything I would need to know as well as looked at pictures of what I wanted and made me feel like a model on my big day! Not only did I love working with them but all of my bridal party loved the experience as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hair/make up for their wedding.

I met Julia and Faten at the Wedding Salon Expo. There were other vendors there, but these ladies effused experience, confidence, and were down to earth! They had a detailed service and price breakdown. This made me feel confident about working with them. I signed up for their diamond package and this includes a trial run. I used the trial run for a Summer wedding that I was attending. I got wonderful compliments...
The ladies arrived on time for every meetup we had. They work efficiently and professionally. My big day was perfect. I highly recommend this vendor!

My wedding was in September of 2018 and I had the pleasure of working with Samantha throughout the entire 2 year planning process. The first time she did my hair and makeup for my trial she did exactly what I asked for. I didn't end up liking the look I chose but I could immediately tell she was incredibly skilled at her craft. Her suggestions on what she thought would look better than my own ideas were spot on. Everything I asked her to do, any change I wanted, she did. I cannot state enough how important this is! Samantha is the only person who has ever done my make-up where I didn't feel like I had to fix it after she was done. Every time I had my makeup done by someone else I always told them how much I hate blush but they would cake it on anyway! That was never the case with Sam and it was so refreshing. All of the decisions that went into planning my wedding were overwhelming so having her expertise was invaluable to helping me figure out what I wanted. She did my hair and makeup again for my engagement photo shoot and my bridal shower, each time getting to know me better and what looked best on me. I never felt prettier than I did at my bridal shower in my entire life. What I loved the most was that I still looked like me, just enhanced. Fast forward to the wedding day, with the whirlwind of things going on around me, I knew no matter what, I was going to look and feel beautiful because Samantha was there. By that point I didn't even have to tell her what I wanted. I just let her do her thing and it was perfect. I also must mention Monique who came along to do my bridal party's hair. She was amazing too. Each and every one of my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning. They both went above and beyond what I ever expected, from driving all the way from Long Island to Atlantic City for me, to helping me find a steamer to get the wrinkles out of my satin dress last minute before I walked down the aisle. Both girls are absolute sweethearts and I don't think I could have made a better choice. The only thing I regret is not adding them to my guest list so they could party with us!

The best of the best!
This November I got married in the Dominican Republic. I knew from the moment I booked the destination that I would need to fly in an Artist with Meta New York! I choose Samantha Laspisa as my Hair and Makeup Artist and It was the best choice. Samantha has incredible artistry and a real knack for putting your vision into creation. I had a photo for Sam and she was quickly able to pull the aspects out that would work for my “look” and show me the best possible version of myself! She is incredibly sweet and was always open minded throughout the process to doing anything to make my most important day, even better. She even arrived with a little gift for me the day of. My makeup photographed beautifully and both my hair and Makeup lasted all night in the hot Dominican weather! Nicole garay and Alexandra Díaz also accompanied Samantha for my bridal party and I couldn’t have better things to say. Nicole garay did my mothers Makeup. My mom arrived feeling hesitant and worried about her look, but soon later was completely amazed by how great it came out! People complimented her the entire night saying that it was the most beautiful they’ve EVER seen her look. MetaNewYork has a dedication to their craft which I believe is second to none. It wouldn’t have been the same without them!

Kara Baker (makeup) and Alaina Natale (hair) did an amazing job. Kara made my makeup look natural and glowing (not cakey at all). Alaina gave me the most beautiful flowy and long beachy hair. I had extensions in and no one knew they just thought my hair looked naturally full and flowing. Both gave me exactly what I wanted as it was important to look like the best version of myself. I wish I could use them every day!
The company owner, Danielle was also very easy to work with, sweet and very helpful. Highly recommend Metamorphosis for your wedding day glam squad.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Sarah Goldberg, who is an absolute gem! She did my makeup for both my boudoir shoot and my wedding day. Both times she nailed the look that I wanted! My makeup stayed on and looked fresh all day. Sarah was so easy to work with and traveled to me both times. The first she traveled to North Babylon, NY and the second she traveled to Queens. Sarah always answered all of my texts quickly and was always so sweet. On my wedding day she also did my sister and my mother's makeup. They looked beautiful! Sarah found the perfect look that made both me and my mother happy. On top of everything, Sarah always arrived on time with such a great vibrant energy! I would definitely recommend them for any future events!

Sarah Goldberg was my makeup artist for my engagement shoot, bachelorette party and wedding day. Beyond Sarah’s wonderful personality (always upbeat, helpful and thoughtful), Sarah is incredibly professional - she took into consideration my hair time and time to relax before the ceremony on my wedding day. I never looked so beautiful and yet myself. For my engagement shoot and bachelorette party, I looked gorgeous and my makeup lasted all day/night. She always arrives on time even super early in the morning on a weekend day and finishes in her given time frame. I have already referred Sarah to two other friends who were very happy with her work.

I planned my wedding within 3 weeks from the wedding date and contacted Metamorphosis - Sarah Goldberg like 2 weeks beforehand; and she was totally available and very professional. My wedding was in December, so I wanted a dark winter look. Sarah offered a trial run (there is a charge of course, totally worth it and highly recommend) (you don’t want to be surprised the day of your wedding) in addition she practiced the look I wanted a few times on her own account to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and the end result.... I was a beautiful sexy winter bride!!!! Oh, she was also a life saver because I had a huge bruise on my arm and she was able to ctake ver it up as if there was nothing there. The coverup was last last minute thing and Sarah really worked with me and was totally supportive with the extra work she had to do for me. I did airbrush on everything and the makeup stayed literally the whole night! Overall I was very happy and still am every time I see my wedding photos.

Metamorphosis was amazing! I had an indian /italian wedding requiring two dresses with different hairstyles and makeup. Danielle and alaina were great at accomodating all of my requests. They were responsive, professional, and made it a very personal experience. They also come to your house which is the best part about it.
What i like most about their work, is that they have great finesse, technique and finish in their look. They dont put on soo much makeup where you look like a clown and yet they manage to make you feel beautiful and an enhanced version of yourself.
I initially had another makeup artist who didnt have much experience but they also accomodated my request to change makeup artist to someone who can match the complicated indian wedding makeup needs. I even had them do my makeup for my bachlorette, rehearsal dinner, graduations from residency and fellowship since then.
I really appreciate everything they did for me and I will continue to use their services. Thank you Metamorphosis staff.

I wish I could give 100 stars. Kara and her team were beyond amazing. Our makeup looked so natural and stayed perfect all night. Kara went above and beyond. We got almost as many compliments about her then we did about all the extra bells and whistles we had for the party. I will definitely be using them for all future makeup needs. Juliana Fink was my makeup artist for my engagement photo shoot and wedding and she is absolutely amazing. She is such a sweet and personable woman and does exactly what you ask her to do. She doesn’t go against what you ask and offers suggestions of what will look nice based off your features, eye shape, skin type, etc. I looked so beautiful in person and in my photos thanks to Juliana and she uses high quality makeup that stays on all day and night. She’s a natural for sure. Very happy Juliana was my makeup artist for my wedding day.

I just wanted to talk about how I loved my glam squad so much. I recently just had my wedding on Saturday July 28th 2018. My glam squad was AMAZING. I had Daisy on make up and Kristen on hair. I just want to rave how amazing they are. They made my dreams come true of feeling like a beautiful bride that I always wanted to be. They made my girls feel beautiful and comfortable through the whole process. They are fun, easy to talk too and feel like you have been friends with them for such a long time. I’ve been with them through my whole engagement from my trials, to my engagement pictures, to my bridal shower and finally the big day on my wedding. The bridesmaids loved everything and I loved everything. They do such an amazing job with make up and hair. I wish I could have them make me feel this way everyday. They are such amazing girls to work with and anybody would be lucky to have them on their wedding team. My hair was perfect, Everyone of my bridesmaids hair was perfect. They traveled everywhere and arrive on time every single time!! My make up was perfect and every bridesmaids make up was perfect. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL. I had the pleasure of having Sarah Goldberg as my make up artist not just for my wedding day but for my engagement photos as well. From the beginning Sarah was very professional communicating back and forth in regards to the look I wanted leading up to my wedding day. We had 2 trials (engagement shoot and bridal shower) & we also had a trial just to narrow down the look that I wanted for my wedding day.
Sarah always showed up on time for everything. On my wedding day every face she touched that day people left her chair in awe. My mom could not have been happier from all the compliments she received that day (this is someone who never wears make up & she looked lovely).
Meta offers you a service called Maid of Makeup and the make up artist stays with you for a period of time. Sarah stayed with me during pictures & right before I went out for cocktail hour. I could not have been more thankful because the weather that day was all over the place it rained then it was so humid after that my hair went from these beautiful lucious curls to this scary straightness. My hairstylist was long gone & when we got to the venue Sarah could tell I wasn’t happy she left to pick up a curling iron & gave my hair enough life that it lasted to the next day. (Whattt!?) I received so many compliments from my hair to my make up I could not have been happier.

Had the best bridal experience with Renee and Sue! They were both extremely responsive, professional, warm, and TALENTED! Both Renee and Sue blew away my expectations. Renee talked to me a bit about the kind of look I was going for and Sue had me pull up some inspo photos -- the final result left me feeling so beautiful and ready for my day in less than 90 minutes! Sue worked my natural curls into a gorgeous updo and Renee left my natural freckles peeking through so I felt like myself on my wedding day! My make-up did not budge all day (even in 90 degree weather) and I was able to rock my defined curls for a few days post wedding. Would absolutely recommend both Renee and Sue for a special event or occasion.

I had the perfect experience with Metamorphosis for my June 2017 wedding in NYC. Faten Peters (hairstylist) and Juliana Fink (make up artist) were assigned to me and I LOVED their work. They were both consummate professionals and they never complained once about the 5am call time for my morning ceremony. They were both right on time and I couldn't have asked for better efficiency since they got my bridal party done on time. Not late at all for my ceremony, which was very important to me. I really appreciate the fact that we worked out a schedule before my big day to make sure of that.
As for their individual reviews, Faten was absolutely lovely to work with. She was very accommodating in my hair trial, listening to what I wanted and bringing my vision to life. I loved how my hair came out that day and my mother in law raved about hers too. One of my bridesmaids was very impressed with how quickly she did my hair and yet, still came out so beautifully. She placed my hair piece and secured my veil for me and it did not fall even once. On top of that, she took several pictures on her phone of angles that my photographer did not capture and I was thrilled that she suprised texted me with them shortly after my wedding.
As for Juliana, she was also very pleasant to work with and was chatting with us on the day of and kept the mood light as we got ready. I was more vocal during my second trial regarding what I wanted exactly and she did not hesitate to adjust the make up accordingly until we nailed it. In the end, I loved how my make up came out on my wedding day and in pictures and my bridesmaids also felt beautiful. I opted for the airbrush make up and it lasted from the early morning through my after-party, which started at 8pm. More importantly, my mother in law was very pleased with her hair and make up. I feel so lucky to have found them on this site and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect, stress-free experience with metamorphosis.

I had Faten do mine and my bridal parties hair and Dana for make up. I truly cannot day enough incredible things. Together they were prepared, flexible, delightful, and BEYOND talented. Everyone was thrilled with the way their hair and make up came out. I also had the most amazing experience doing trials with both of them. They stayed with me for over 2 hours and tried a few different looks until I was 100% satisfied. If you don’t use Meta for your wedding you are missing out!!! I met Vicky at a Bridal show in Times Square and I was intreeged from the very beginning. She did my makeup for my Engagement Party and Wedding. She then recommended Alaina for her to do my hair and she also did so AMAZING. They’re both so professional and ON TIME which is every brides worry. They not only made me look beautiful! I worked with Maria for hair and Melissa for makeup and both were amazing, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that is reliable, listens to what you want (and don't want) and executes it to perfection. I did a trial with both and on my actual wedding day, they recreated the look exactly as we had planned. In addition they were early to both the trial and the big day which really helped calm my nerves. They also helped with planning the timeline for all of the bridesmaids, mothers and me to get ready and were were available for all of my random questions. They were a real joy to have around and maintained their professionalism throughout. The additional assistants they had to help prep were also great. On January 6, 2018, I married the love of my life. There are so many people to thank for making that day the most perfect day, but two people who went over and made it the most amazing experience we’re Melissa & Maria. I met them in 2015 at a bridal show and felt like we just clicked! They did my makeup and glammed me up for my engagement shoot in July of 2016 and have been there every step of the way! They are both so passionate about their job, true professionals and always went over and beyond to make sure I was okay! The day of the wedding they came with a team and rocked it! 15 girls got their hair and makeup done, they stayed on point with time and made everyone look and feel absolutely amazing. It has been a month and I still get texts and calls from my bridal party and family complimenting their professionalism and art (because that is exactly what they are- artists!) I would recommend these two over and over again. There were times I would text them out of nowhere talking about hair and makeup and being indecisive and they of course kept me calm reminding me that whatever I decide it will be perfect & it was. Dayna at Metamorphosis was amazing to work with! She was able to come to me for my trial, my ceremony day, and my reception day for very reasonable pricing. I do not normally wear a lot of makeup, and she struck the right balance between giving me what I wanted and guiding me with gentle and professional advice. My final looks were gorgeous! She also had such a warm and positive attitude, and was a joy to have around my family on these important days. I highly recommend her!

Melissa was nothing short of FABULOUS. Not only was she the first person to put my mind at ease regarding scheduling makeup and hair for the day and all of the logistics involved, but her calmness, confidence, and professionalism the day of was even more appreciated. My makeup (the bride) and the rest of my bridesmaids and my mother's makeup was flawless (we all got airbrush). Melissa gave her expert advice on what look/shades she felt would be best while also listening to each of us on what we prefer and what our inspiration was. I highly recommend Melissa as well as her team 100%!

I used Melissa for makeup and Sue for hair and they both were absolutely amazing!! Melissa listened carefully to what look I wanted to achieve and she executed it perfectly! I never wear makeup and she made me look and feel so beautiful. Sue turned my hair into #hairgoals for sure! I was so stunned with how it came out. She turned my vision into an even better reality and I cannot get over how perfect it was all day! Melissa and Sue are a dream team. They made me look and feel like a princess all day. My husband is still talks about how amazing I looked at our wedding. Thank you Melissa and Sue!!!

I would highly recommend Maria and Melissa for hair and makeup. Both vendors were in tune to my needs and helped find the right style for my whole bridal party. I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day!

My wedding was in November and there is just amazing things I could say about Melissa and Maria! From booking with them to the trials to the actual wedding day there was no worry on my mind about how everything was going to come out. Melissa knew my skin and how I like my make up to look she had given me some advice about adding a little bit more to my eyes for pictures and she was completely right. She did everything and more! Maria who did my hair was amazing. I can be very picky on how my hair is and she nailed it. During the trial I was really unsure how I wanted it to be and we did about 3 to 4 different styles and each time she was on top of it. The biggest thing I can say about these two wonderful ladies is how sweet and kind they were with my family and the girls on the day of my wedding. On the day of my wedding we added an extra girl to get hair and make up and they didn’t blink an eye and it was no problem to them which was a breath of fresh air. These girls worked so hard to make my day so special. They honestly went above and beyond what I thought. I don’t think I can thank them enough because to this day they made me feel like a princess with how I looked.

I chose Metamorphosis for my wedding via the vendor showcase at Russo's on the Bay; right form the beginning they were professional and assured me that they could make it work even for someone who never wears makeup and didn't want to feel like I had a mask on. My makeup artist was Brittany and she was amazing. She was there early both for the trial (I had one trial) and day-of, and was this oasis of calm while still keeping me excited. At the trial I had given her a vague idea of what I had in mind, and she delivered what I didn't even know I wanted. I never thought my face could look as good as it did, the makeup held all day, it didn't feel heavy and I still felt like myself. Sweet, professional, personable, I could go on about her forever, and I will definitely be recommending her to friends.

Brittany and Faten were great. They came to my house very early and did a great job on my makeup and hair. i loved it. and they were both very nice and friendly, i would highly recommend them for you at your wedding day :)

For my wedding, Faten (hair) and Vicky (makeup) were amazing!! They did me, my mother, and 7 bridesmaids!!!! Everyone was extremely satisfied with their end result. Faten and Vicky were fun and sweet and very professional! They helped to make the morning of my wedding day as stress-free as possible. I can't recommend the both of them enough!!
