  Merryl Brown is a genius. We hired her based on the recommendation of every wedding venue we visited in Santa Barbara. From the Four Seasons Biltmore to San Ysidro Ranch to Santa Barbara Polo Club: they all urged us to use Merryl Brown Events, and we are so happy we did. From day 1, Merryl was incredibly passionate about our wedding, keeping in close contact, brainstorming ideas, and working tirelessly. A quick glance at the stunning photos from events she's produced assured us that Merryl would be good; but after working with her, we realized that she's the BEST. No detail was too small. When we did our food tasting, Merryl helped us bring the menu together and ensured everything would be up to snuff. Her staff spent hours hand-crafting Chanel-inspired paper flowers made out of maps to use as our napkin holders. She was as invested as we were in the decision between a seafoam green, Tiffany blue, and Robin's egg blue (a discussion that might have bored others, but Merryl understood why it was important!). On the day of, Merryl and her staff provided us with a military-precision schedule that made sure each detail was carried out to perfection, yet they were still warm, attentive, complimentary and excited: the best of both worlds! When we walked into the venue and saw the wonderland that Merryl had brought to life from our dreams, my husband and I both literally gasped. And the day after the wedding, when we realized we'd left a jacket behind (of course, Merryl's team had already found), Merryl dropped it by the hotel personally and congratulated us. Many of our friends married this year, and we lost track of the number of guests who told us it was the best wedding they'd ever gone to. We have Merryl, her dedication, her passion, and her talent to thank for giving us a wedding that not only met our expectations but surpassed them. You will be in the absolute best hands with Merryl Brown. We cannot recommend her more enthusiastically.

  Merryl Brown Events delivered the perfect destination wedding weekend for us. From the very first Skype call to even now (week after our wedding) Merryl and her team have been extremely helpful and incredibly attentive to our every need. Thanks to Merryl and her team the entire wedding planning process was a breeze! Merryl knew how to ask the right questions to help us craft and execute our vision. We had the added challenge of living on the other side of the world but it was never an issue because Merryl was extremely responsive and an excellent communicator.
  
  In addition to being a super events planning company everyone at Merryl Brown Events has been an absolute joy to work with. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for expert planning services. We're going to miss working with them!

  Words can not describe how amazing Merryl Brown and her team are. Merryl planned an incredible 40th birdthday weekend celebration for my husband. We started off with a fantastic and whimsical cocktail party one night to the main event, a drop dead gorgeous sea side party full of the most beautiful decor, fabulous food and impeccable service. Merryl was attentive to our every need, listened and addressed all of our concerns and desires and at every step along the way outperformed our every expectation. She well deserves her reputation as the top party planner in Santa Barbara. Though I am from Los Angeles, we will have her plan every big event in our lives. I can't wait to work with her again. She is AMAZING!!!!!!!

  Clearly I cannot recommend Merryl Brown Events and her services more highly. From the first phone call I made to her, I realized she was the one who could plan and understand exactly what I wanted. She is delightful, professional, has fabulous taste, and only wants to give you what you want, which to me was crucial. In addition she works very hard with her vendors on your behalf to give you the best pricing possible. She has a lovely staff of young women helping her whom I also loved working with. Our wedding events, Friday and Saturday, were all that I could have imagined and exactly how I wanted them to be. Every guest commented on how every detail was perfect, yet how seamless it all was. That is the sign of a truly great events planner.

  Merryl Brown and her team were exceptional at handling the entire wedding weekend including the rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. No detail went unattended to and our guests, all from different parts of the country and world, raved about the entire weekend of events. The special touches were everywhere and the minute-by-minute scheduling of each facet of the events allowed both my wife and I complete enjoyment of this wonderful occasion. Our daughter, the bride, was without a single worry throughout the weekend, and completely focused on her husband and family and friends. She commented that from the moment she met Merryl and they talked for a few hours, she felt Merryl understood her and knew exactly what she wanted each part of the wedding weekend to look and feel like.

  Merryl is the best of the best. Every detail was masterfully architected and our day was magical. We cannot recommend her enough. And if you are considering Santa Barbara, you should definitely get someone with local access and network. Merryl is the A Team.
