Our dream wedding photography!

Meredith Jane Photography was one of the very first vendors we booked for our late August wedding. We had been to a wedding where Meredith and her husband Chris were the photographers, and for years I dreamed of having them for our own wedding. I was thrilled they were available!

I love Meredith’s mix of film and digital photography as well as documentary and traditional style. Our photos just came back a week ago and they are more than we could ever imagine. I have literally not stopped staring at the photos and it has been so fun to relive our day through their photography.

Above all else these two are great people to have by your side on your day. We had a blast with them and they made the entire experience enjoyable and not stressful. Thank you Meredith and Chris for everything!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From the moment she captured our proposal, to our engagement shoot, and finally our wedding day, Meredith—and her husband Chris, who is her incredible second shooter—have blown us away with their talent, professionalism, and genuine warmth.

Meredith isn’t just a photographer; she’s an artist with an incredible eye for detail and a heart full of genuine care. Her work is nothing short of breathtaking. Every single photo she takes is a masterpiece that perfectly captures the emotion, beauty, and joy of the moment. And beyond that, she and her husband have the rare ability to make the entire experience feel effortless and fun. It was like having two of our closest friends by our side, guiding us and making us laugh through every shot.

By the end of it all, they weren’t just our photographers; they became dear friends. I know without a doubt that I’ll never work with another photographer for all of life’s big moments if given the chance. They have a way of making you feel so comfortable, so seen, and so special that the photos turn out beyond anything you could have dreamed. My sister will be stealing them for her wedding in two years as soon as she sets her date!

Every single time I share our proposal, engagement, or wedding photos, the first thing people ask is, "Who is this photographer?" And I can’t wait to tell them because I know they’ll be just as blown away as we were.

Timeless photos to last a lifetime!

Wow! Where to begin? It was truly a dream come true to have Meredith and Chris photograph our wedding. A few things that really stand out to be about MJP:

-the quality of work; MJP does not compromise on quality. Meredith's work is timeless, elevated, and true artistry. Meredith has a vast knowledge of shots, angles and poses that bring out the best in her subjects. It was such a relief working with a true expert who knew so many ways to make us and our wedding details shine. I have received countless compliments from friends and family about how stunning her work is (a few have even said they wished they had used her as their photographer!).

-flexibility; Meredith and Chris worked with us just days before the wedding to finalize our timing and details to ensure that they didn't miss a single special moment of the day. We were SO grateful for their communication and flexibility to adapt to a few last minute changes in our plans.

-MJP takes the stress out of wedding day photos; Photos are a very stressful things for me personally. I've never really loved the way I looked in photos, so a personal fear of mine has always been not liking how I look in my wedding photos. Meredith truly finds the light, setting and angles that bring out natural beauty in people and make them shine. Having now received our gallery back, I can honestly say I love our wedding photos. Knowing I didn't have to worry about the photos meant that I could be fully present for other details of the wedding day.

We did our engagement photos with Meredith, too. It was such a fun way to get to know her before the actual wedding day. I would highly recommend!

Creatively Capturing Your Special Day

This photographer was amazing. As the mother of the groom, I was amazed with the number of photos taken to get just the right shots, the creativity of the shots, the way the fun and love of the day were captured, the variety of film and digital, color and black and white pics, and the way the photographers just blended in. Unless we were posing for a pic, you'd never know the photographers were capturing so many moments of this very special day. Forever grateful for being able to relive the happy day through the wedding photos and feeling as if I was there again. They are that good!

Amazing Special Day!!!!

Meredith and her husband captured our son and daughter in law's wedding flawlessly and made it such an amazing day!!! They captured every moment and you never even noticed them around. They were flexible, understanding and offered some great subtle suggestions to consider. When her husband was with the guys you would have thought he was part of the wedding party as he photographed all of us. It was like they were part of our family as they chronicled the entire day. I can't thank them the enough for memorializing our memories forever!! You won't be disappointed!!!

MJP Review

My now wife knew from the very beginning she wanted MJP to be our wedding photographers. I didn’t have much involvement in the photography process early on, but when it came to the wedding day, I was absolutely thrilled my wife made that decision. Meredith and her husband Chris were absolutely incredible. The talent is obvious and clear from all of their work, but their personalities are what set them apart for me. They’re diligent, patient, and above all, just cool people. Chris was there to photograph my groomsmen and me when we were getting ready and he just added to the awesome vibe. Wedding Photographer

A photographer vendor was very high on our priority list from the minute we started wedding planning. We got engaged in 2020 and were planning for a 2022 wedding. I reached out to Meredith almost immediately once we locked in a date, which was almost 2 years in advance. I’m soooo grateful that we did! Meredith was so refreshing to communicate with and so responsive. Our first interaction was our engagement shoot and we knew immediately we had made the right choice. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. It was almost another year until we met again for the wedding. Leading up to that day Meredith was so detailed, organized and attentive. Her timeline and agenda were everything! The day of the wedding we had both Meredith and Chris. Meredith was so patient with everything. She made sure to get all the shots we requested and then some. Her excitement and passion were evident from the very start. She was so great at capturing the best moments and always making sure we we’re ourselves. Hire Immediately!

Finding a photographer is probably one of the hardest decisions of the wedding process. You do so much research, and make phone calls to make sure your personalities match. The most important thing is that you trust the vendors you choose to do what they do best so all you have to do on your Wedding Day is relax, look beautiful, and marry the love of your life! Not only did Meredith meet our expectations, she exceeded them. A couple minutes into our first phone call with Meredith I turned to my husband and whispered "Let's hire her!" She was one of the sweetest people I had ever talked to and truly cared about all of our wishes. My husband Tim was nervous about a professional photo session since it was uncharted territory for him, Meredith sent us a little booklet with everything you could think of as to what to expect. This truly put him at ease, and as if that wasn't enough our engagement shoot could not have gone better. She made sure she knew if there was anything we were self-conscious about or a side preference (which every girl has) she would showcase us in the way that we truly felt beautiful! During the engagement shoot Meredith even basically got in the water with us so we could have some pictures in the ocean, and let out a little "eek!" whenever she got a good photo! Her excitement made us confident the photos were going to be amazing! On the day of the Wedding this commitment did not stop. We literally moved a nail on the wall to a different spot so that my dress could hang in the most perfect location with the best lighting. Her attention to detail was unbelievable. It did not stop there Meredith captured every important moment, and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. Her husband Chris is also the best added bonus you could ever ask for. Chris not only became one of the guys instantly he even fixed my dress so that it looked just right before I walked down the aisle. I truly trusted Meredith and could not have been happier with the end result, she even gifted us with some photos from the day at the actual Reception which was the most special gift we could have received! Tim and I felt like literal models in the photos she took and I love having both the digital and film photos! I asked Meredith for recommendations for most of my vendors and I was happy with every single person she sent our way! If you are thinking of hiring Meredith, do it, it was one of the best decisions we made! Thank you so much Meredith and Chris!!!

Dream Wedding Photographers

Picking the right wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions during the planning process, and Meredith and Chris more than delivered in every single aspect. As a groom, being in a photoshoot was uncharted territory, but both were great coaches and made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. Everything happens for a reason!

Meredith and Chris made our wedding day! Our initial photographer cancelled on us two weeks prior to our wedding (nightmare!) Meredith came HIGHLY recommended from a friend and by some miracle she had our wedding day open. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason. Knowing the stress we were under, Meredith got on a call at 10pm and within 30 minutes she had a detailed schedule finalized which put me at complete ease - a true professional! Meredith and Chris were wonderful to have around on our wedding day - putting everyone at ease and making a long day of pictures fun. And most importantly, the final product was remarkable. The pictures will be treasured forever. We would highly recommend Meredith and Chris!!

From a photographer's daughter - Meredith is the best

My mom was a wedding photographer for 25 years, so needless to say our photographer was our most important vendor, and the one that we did the most research on. Most people choose a photographer based on whether they think the photos look nice, but we chose Meredith for so many more reasons as we knew she would be the unofficial leader of our day. I wanted someone that was organized and outgoing enough to drive the course of our day, but flexible enough to go with the flow when something inevitably didn’t go to plan. Not only did Meredith prove she was talented enough in her skills, but her knowledge and organization in the first meeting we had impressed both myself and my mom so much that it wasn’t a question who we’d hire. When my mom was shooting weddings, my dad was her second shooter; so during our photographer search I was inevitably biased towards husband/wife teams because of the connection to our family’s story. However it really was evident that Meredith and Chris make such a great team because of the unspoken connection and trust they have with one another, obviously more than your average photographer/second shooter duo! Chris was awesome and our guy friends still say he was so much fun to be around the day of the wedding. Mine and Meredith’s personalities fit so well that she felt more like a friend than a vendor, and I was so grateful for the guidance she gave me throughout planning when I needed it, answering my texts and emails at random hours with scheduling, vendor and even design advice.

We couldn't be more grateful for the amazing memories of our wedding journey that Meredith and Chris gave us. From our socially distanced engagement session at the peak of Covid, to our wedding day almost two years later, I knew I could count on Meredith to capture the most beautiful memories. What I couldn’t have even imagined was just how well she would capture every raw emotion we all had. With our photos she told the most beautiful story from every angle, and we are forever grateful for the heirlooms she has created for us. We’re so grateful and excited to continue having Meredith capture our life’s most important moments.

Meredith and Chris were absolutely amazing to work with on Wedding Day! My husband and I feel so blessed we were able to book with Meredith! She was super helpful with a timeline for wedding day, which was really helpful for me as I’ve NEVER done it before and felt like a deer in headlights! She was very encouraging while taking photos and made me AND Brandon feel so so comfortable. We would absolutely recommend MJP! Some vendors kind of dropped off the planet after booking, until the wedding. Not Meredith. It was a really great experience ans I can’t say enough good things and out the quality of the pictures!!

A husbands point of view- Book Meredith!!

If you are like me, the only thing that sounds worse than being asked to take photos of others...is having someone take many photos of you. If this sounds at all familiar, but you still want amazing photos that are guaranteed to make all of your friends jealous, I have the solution: hire Meredith and her husband Chris!

My wife and I used Meredith for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and it was easily one of the best decisions we have made. As a naturally shy person who loathes being the center of attention, the thought of having someone follow me around for the sole purpose of capturing photos sounded...terrifying. And yet, Meredith pulled off the impossible - not only did she put me at ease within the first five minutes, to the point where things felt almost effortless, she made the entire process enjoyable. What's more, I was worried that my natural awkwardness might translate into subpar photos - and wow, was I wrong! Meredith's photos are far and away the best I have ever looked; she captured us, and our entire wedding day, perfectly.

The best part, however, was how kind, unflappable, and generally amazing to work with Meredith was. It becomes readily apparent that she strives for excellence, and is the rare high character individual who wants her couples to have the best experience possible, simply because she genuinely cares about them. We felt honored to work with such an amazing and talented person, and cannot sufficiently sing her praises.

Excellent photography and fun day

We "eloped" last minute due to a COVID postponement (ugh) and Meredith was so easy to work with! Everyone was flexible and fun to interact with - although she wasn't available to shoot our event she got someone else to take the photos and did all of the editing herself. Meredith and her team captured so much of the joy and intimacy of our wedding. I'm beyond grateful for our shots!

Capturing Memories of Our Wedding Day

We hired Meredith after seeing her photos from my cousin's wedding. Her photography skills and talents were evident from the start but we later learned they were coupled with professionalism and an artistic vision beyond our expectations. We endured many challenges during the planning of our big day and Meredith was able to adapt and help us overcome what we saw as major hurdles by trusting our preparations and adding helpful suggestions along the way. Meredith, and her husband Chris, were able to capture photographic evidence of the entire day. From getting ready along with wedding details, to wedding party photos on the beach, and ceremony and dinner candid shots with our families, these two did it all. As we look back on the photos almost four months later, we still find small details in photos that catch our eye. Meredith was also able to curate our wedding photo book for us, being sure to edit and adjust as we desired. We cannot recommend Meredith Jane Photography highly enough for your special day.

Boston harbor fall wedding

Meredith’s work is absolutely STUNNING. I was very picky with my choice I’m photographer and she exceeded my expectations. Meredith plans ahead!

Meredith did a lot of homework up front to ensure the family photos went perfectly, she had her clipboard, knew who should be with which group and who shouldn't so that the family photo part went smoothly.

An incredibly talented photographer

Meredith and her team are extremely talented, courteous, and professional. The quality of the photographs that Meredith and her team captured at our wedding are second to none. Meredith has an unbelievable ability to capture the most beautiful images, even in the unlikeliest of settings.
We first met Meredith in person on the morning of our engagement shoot. It happened to be POURING rain outside that day. Despite the weather, Meredith managed to make the whole experience very enjoyable for the both of us. She was fully prepared, incredibly kind, and captured amazing photographs.
On the day of our wedding, I spent most of the time leading up to the ceremony with our second photographer, Chris. Even though we met for the first time that day, it immediately felt as if we had been friends for years. At one moment while we were getting ready, there was a lot going on and it started to feel a little overwhelming. Out of the blue, Chris cracked a joke that made me laugh and it was the perfect thing to ease the nerves. He did an amazing job at being personable, keeping it light, while also managing the day and sticking to the timeline.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Meredith was very detail-oriented and easy to communicate with. Those types of traits in a vendor are priceless when planning a wedding. Her meticulous timeline of the day really helped us with putting everything together. Hiring Meredith Jane Photography was among the best decisions we made, and I cannot recommend them enough.

From a grooms perspective!

Let’s be hones.....all the pictures leading up to the big day can be more than overwhelming!! At least that’s what I expected coming into our wedding day and I was more than pleased to have a completely different experience. Meredith and Chris made this process not only smooth and painless but more importantly very enjoyable! Meredith has a way of controlling the crowd with a smooth and calming, yet extremely efficient demeanor (very important on the wedding day). Meredith was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

If you don’t already know, Meredith doesn’t work alone! From a guys perspective, Chris made this whole process even more enjoyable. He spent most of the day leading up to the wedding with us while Meredith was with the ladies. To say the least Chris was a blast to work with. At no point did I feel awkward, uncomfortable, or irritated with the camera in my face. Chris was patient, understanding and most importantly down to earth. Chris seemed like he was just another one of the guys, he was relatable and easy to get along with.

All of this being said, both Meredith and Chris make a great team. They crush it behind the camera and my wife and I couldn’t be more excited with the turnout of our photos. They both went above and beyond to make our experience unique and it didn’t go unnoticed. I would highly recommend both Meredith and Chris to anyone looking for a photographer!!

Highly Recommend

Meredith and Chris were so great. They both were extremely friendly and flexible. They kept the whole day on track while still having the ability to feel relaxed. Captured our day

Meredith and her associate were able to capture all of our details and impromptu moments throughout the whole day. We never felt pressured to pose (except for the obvious wedding party photos) and the result was a wonderful blend of realism and fantasy blended into "Oh, I remember that" moments as we peruse through literally hundreds of pictures capturing our perfect day.

Truly a professional team that captures perfection!

Meredith and Chris were the photographers for my son and daughter-in-law's engagement photos and wedding. They did such a beautiful job. They are so professional, and the work is the best I have seen. The pictures were beautiful, and they have an eye for taking the perfect photos. They truly captured the essence of their relationship and that is what made the photos so special. They moved us all along, which is not an easy task with our large family and wedding party...so that the pictures didn't take the whole day and we had time for guests. AMAZING! Detailed, Kind & So Talented

I talked to more than 10 photographers over the phone during our planning process (sounds crazy!!!). I really wanted someone our families would be comfortable with. We ultimately chose Meredith because from the first phone call, she created a genuine connection with us. She asked how we met, our family dynamics, hobbies, interests and how we imagined our dream wedding. She took detailed notes on what portraits we wanted and made sure all of these photos were taken on our special day!

My husband does not like being the center of attention and Chris, Meredith's second shooter & husband, blended in with his buddies. The day after our wedding Ryan (my husband) told me he had fun taking pictures before the ceremony (I was so surprised!)

Meredith is incredibly responsive to emails and questions. She is also very timely editing photos- I am so grateful we received a sneak peek 1 day after our wedding and a blog post of 20 photos one week after our wedding!

I cannot wait to see the rest of our photos, our day would be so different without Meredith and Chris! They are the best of the best! :)

Mjp is the mvp

I could brag about Meredith Jane Photography all day! Meredith and Chris are such a power couple. We met Meredith and Chris at a friend’s wedding in 2017 and instantly asked for their card- we knew we had to have them! Meredith shot our engagement photos later that fall and they were stunning. I continue to get questions and comments about those photos and who did them. Meredith was such a great resource during our wedding planning. She had all the answers! She was the one to keep our day moving and running smoothly. Her wedding day timeline is the Holy Grail. Meredith and Chris are super professional and amazing at what they do. Seeing them in action was so much fun. They work so well together, and as husband and wife they have perfect chemistry! We felt like our friends were our photographers and that made the day so much fun. Working with Meredith (and Chris) through the process of planning our October wedding at Willowbend Country Club was amazing! Meredith is responsive, organized, and unbelievably talented. Amazing!!!

MJP!!! My oh my, where do I begin. Before I was even engaged I knew I would hire Meredith as my wedding photographer simply because her work is just absolutely breathtaking. From day 1 Meredith had stayed organized with the timeline and kept up with my excessive emails and texts (sorry!!). She was there to answer any of my questions/concerns/requests. On the day of my wedding she stayed calm cool and collected even when I had some moments of panic. Meredith and her second photographer Chris, work very well together. Everything I imagined and more!

After following Meredith Jane Photography on Instagram for a few months I fell in love with her work. When I got engaged in June, I immediately thought "I would love if I could have Meredith photograph us." A few weeks later, Meredith held a contest and on a whim I entered and won a free engagement session! From the time I entered the contest to the day of the photo shoot, Meredith was amazing. She is down to earth and easy to work with. She sent us tips and tricks ahead of time to ease our nerves and give us ideas of what to do/not do. This was our first professional photo shoot as a couple and I was nervous we would look awkward and stiff, but it truly felt like we were walking in a park with a friend who just happened to be taking photos. We were laughing and comfortable the whole time which is all you can ask for. Not to mention, our photos came out stunning! They really portrayed who we are as a couple and our love for each other. I could not have asked for a better experience. Meredith and Chris were amazing in every way! From my first conversation with Meredith, I felt at ease, and it was evident that she truly cares about each and every bride & groom she works with. She would always get back to me about any questions or concerns I had and made the planning process as seamless as possible. I could trust Meredith to provide an honest and genuine opinion on things and they were both great with making sure to keep us in the loop and detailing the timeline of events from the very first steps all the way through the big day! A lot goes into wedding planning and many aspects of the day tie together. Meredith and Chris were attentive, accommodating, detailed, professional, genuine and caring throughout the entire process and were a huge help tying it all together. Look no further!! Meredith was THE BEST photographer we could have asked for. Without a doubt. She was just as excited as I was for my wedding day, sincerely. At the same time she was very professional and kept us on task. Meredith knew just where to place us for the first look photos so that the lighting was just perfect. She gave us funny prompts so that our smiles and laughs were candid in all the pictures. She captured some incredible shots of the ceremony that I didn't even realize she was taking. If you are trying to decide on whether or not to have Meredith as your wedding photographer, please take my advice and hire her! Meredith is absolutely amazing at what she does - I don’t know that my review will be able to do her justice. Not only is she a joy to be around, but also her work is just phenomenal. Meredith has a really sweet and humorous way of being directive and giving instructions during group photos, which enables her to get the beautiful group shots that she does. She also has a way about not even being noticed while she is out and about capturing beautiful candid shots of moments that might otherwise be forgotten. When I look through the photos Meredith took for my daughter's July wedding, I smile from ear to ear. You can tell that Meredith loves her job… It shows in the time she spends with her clients as well as the quality of her photos. Meredith also published a heartfelt post on her blog with her favorite pictures from our wedding (as soon as only one week after our wedding!!), which was so nice to be able to share with our family and friends. To wrap this up - I am so very glad that my daughter chose Meredith to be her wedding photographer. We have so many outstanding photos from this special day.

As the father of the bride, I wrote a lot of checks. But before that step was taken, I’d often question my daughter on her choices, checking to see that she had done her homework on each vendor. She was. But if I am leaving an honest review, I must include the fact that there was no small amount of sticker shock when I was told of the cost. As this was the first of my three girls, I heard myself say, ‘HOW MUCH?’ and ‘Who did you hire, Annie Lebovitz?’ and ‘Just to take some pictures?’ Now that I am on the other side of the wedding and have experienced Meredith Jane Photography, I get it. All day long, as the two photographers worked and interacted with us, I had one thought: You get what you pay for. It wasn’t just hiring someone to take pictures. It was finding someone who brought confidence, calm, experience, and expertise. And there is a value in all of that.

Meredith Jane Photography treated us like family. Because they knew the venue intimately, they were able to prepare us for what to expect and knew exactly where to stand to get the best shots. Oh, and did they ever get some great shots! The real value of their work came, not surprisingly, later when we started seeing the results. Wow! A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a well-taken wedding picture is priceless. Like my daughter and her husband, I was thrilled with the results.

If a skeptical FOB were to call looking for a referral, I’d say: 'Sir, there are no bargains in the wedding process but there are plenty of things that can be done cheaply. Photography is not one of the items that should be on that list. Go with someone who states their price and then justifies it with outstanding work. Read the reviews. See the samples. But also feel the passion of the person behind the camera.’

I highly recommend Meredith Jane Photography . My doubts were understandable for a first time FOB. But when the other two are ready, I’ll be the first one to say, ‘I have the perfect photographer'

Meredith was the ideal photographer for our wedding day. She was double wielding cameras the whole day ensuring we had the best photos possible. as parents of the groom, Meredith Jane photography did a fabulous job with the family photos that we all love to get when the families are together. They were able to capture great shots without being intrusive .

We cant say enough good things about Meredith and her soon to be husband Chris. Meredith was a pleasure to work with she was always quick to respond with any questions that came up. We knew she was the perfect person after our engagement shoot where she totally put us at ease and made us have fun in what could have been awkward for us. For my son's recent wedding there was not one single unacceptable photo. Every single important aspect of the service, reception and family/friends photos were above perfection. This is an exceptional photographer and worth the cost.

I can't say enough amazing things about Meredith (and Chris)!
From the minute we got in contact with Meredith, she was incredibly responsive, organized, and thorough in making our wedding day absolutely perfect!
We had an absolute blast getting to know Meredith during our engagement shoot, and were so reassured by how relaxed she was and just how FUN she made the whole process.
In the weeks and months leading up to our wedding, she was SO responsive to every single question, and went literally above and beyond to help us craft a timeline that made sure we could fit all of the photos we wanted! On the day of our wedding she and Chris were so prompt and professional, and worked seamlessly with our videographer and our wedding planner. Most importantly, she was SO flexible and willing to roll with the punches when things didn’t work out exactly as we had planned. She and Chris worked so well with our families and our bridal party, and made them feel so comfortable—not an easy task when you’re wrangling a huge group of people!
We couldn’t be happier with how every single one of our wedding photos turned out—after showing my Mom our super easy to use online gallery, she summed it best: “EVERY photo is my favorite!”
It was worth every dime to have Meredith in charge of capturing the most precious memories from our wedding day and we can’t wait to display them for years to come!

Meredith was the photographer at my daughters wedding and I will always be grateful that my daughter found her! She has such an eye for beauty and it was apparent in every single picture that she took that day. Unfortunately it rained the day of her wedding but her pictures are so stunning that you would never have known the weather was not perfect! They really looked like they were taken out of a bridal magazine. Thanks Meredith and Chris for such beautiful shots to help us remember that beautiful day!

We couldn't have been more thrilled with Meredith Jane Photography. Meredith took some beautiful photos at our engagement shoot--the lighting and the way she stages her photos make them beautiful and radiant. On our wedding day, Meredith and Chris (her second shooter) helped keep the day flowing and organized and most importantly took more incredible photos. Chris hung around with me and the groomsmen for the morning--he took some incredible photos of all of us getting ready--both staged and candid shots. It was very relaxed environment--all of us joking around and having a good time. After the ceremony, Meredith walked with my wife and I from the church to the reception in the rain. It was a lot of fun and we have some incredible pictures to show for it. The photos are the things you get to keep from one of the best days of your life and I couldn't recommend Meredith and Chris any more highly. They were both fun to work with and took incredible photos. Thanks so much to you both!

Meredith is truly a dream wedding photographer. I booked Meredith almost two years in advanced for our wedding as I was impressed with her quality of work from the start! Like a fine wine, with time her talent and creativity only becomes better. My husband and I were blown away by the professionalism and just the fact that her and Chris are cool people to hang out with. Our friends and family commented on how great they were interacting with everyone. I really cannot say enough things to make anyone understand how lovely they were to work with. They handled all the details and helped our day be special and amazing! I can't wait to see our final product! She captures the moments that my husband and I couldn't. One of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning process was hiring Meredith (and Chris) to be our photographer(s). From the very first e-mail message, Meredith was so warm, informative, flexible and overall just refreshing to work with. Being engaged for 2 years and booking her over a year in advance, I truly got to know her through this time, which made my husband and I so comfortable taking photos with her/them on the big day. Speaking of the big day… the two of them were so professional and friendly to everyone they came in contact with. I felt like they were there as friends, not vendors. My bridal party really enjoyed Meredith and how fun she was, and my husband and the guys loved having Chris with them! Our pictures are absolutely stunning and truly took our breath away (and still do) as we looked at them after returning from our honeymoon. It was also so nice to get some sneak peeks while we were away. The photos are more than what we could’ve ever asked for, or dreamed of. We cannot speak more highly of them. We would recommend Meredith and Chris over and over again to anyone who is looking for the best quality of service for not only their big day, but for the memories that will last a lifetime.

Having Meredith and Chris be our photographers for my husband and I’s big day was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding! The entire year and half of planning was seamless and fun with Meredith’s help along the way! She helped with any question that came up, offered suggestions and recommendations whenever necessary and she was so friendly and sweet throughout it all! The day of the wedding she was professional, fun and you didn’t even know she was there half the time because that’s how amazing she was! My pictures are absolutely everything I could have dreamed of and more and they were sent to us about two weeks after our wedding! It was the absolute best thing to come home to while away being away on our honeymoon! I can't even begin to express how happy we were to have worked with Meredith and Chris! From the first email and phone call, I knew that we absolutely had to hire Meredith Jane Photography to for our engagement session and wedding. Meredith was so sweet and refreshing to speak with, incredibly flexible, informative and communicative and put our minds completely at ease throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day. Not only is her work incredible, but her professionalism and thoughtfulness truly sets her apart - she sends her brides a guide complete with tips that include how to dress for your engagement session, pros and cons of a first look and a sample wedding day timeline. SO HELPFUL! In addition, she worked with us on finalizing a somewhat complicated photography timeline for our wedding day and was so patient and helpful in answering my endless questions. Meredith and Chris captured every important moment that we were hoping for on our wedding day as well as some that we weren't even aware of. Their work is flawless and we have received endless compliments on our photos. Meredith's style is so light and refreshing and her talent and professionalism are exceptional. Working with her has been a great experience and she felt more like a bridal coach than a photographer. She is there for any questions and provides all you need to know information on how to be prepared before the big day. I felt like no matter what I needed she was prepared with an answer or solution as to what to expect. Meredith also makes you feel completely comfortable resulting in some of the most elegant photos of me I have ever seen. She also knows her second shooter Chris very well and their dynamic on the big day allow the photos to be harmonious to one another. Where or where do I begin with Meredith and Chris. I knew from the very moment I spoke with Meredith on the phone that she was the person for us. We had an unfortunate circumstance that our original photographer cancelled on us 4 months before our wedding. I had gotten Meredith's name from one of my girlfriends who had been looking at using her for her own wedding. I reached out to Meredith on a leap of faith praying she was still available, and it must have been fate as it was the last date of the summer she had available. She is so committed and loves what she does that she even did a pre-lim call with us after we reached out while on her vacation in Scotland. She is so sweet, friendly, and beyond talented. I never knew wedding photos could look as amazing as ours did. Having her boyfriend Chris as her second photographer was amazing. He literally became one of the boys for the day while hanging out with the guys and taking photos. My fiancé and his group LOVED having him and he made them feel so comfortable. Meredith and Chris are truly special people and made us feel like we had been friends with them forever. We had so much fun with them on our wedding day, it was like they were meant to be there. But not only are they great people, they are extremely talented artists. The images we just received back from our wedding are truly jaw-dropping. She captured the entire look, feel, and emotions of our big day. She captured everything from the fine details, the sentimental moments, the laughs, the tears, and the LOVE that we felt on that day. Meredith is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about her clients. She was so organized, kept everyone in line, and on schedule through the entire day. If you are thinking about booking her, go call her now. I promise you will not regret it and anyone would be SO incredibly lucky to have her as their photographer for the best day of their life!

Meredith was absolutely fantastic to work with for our engagement session (August 2017), it was the perfect prep session for the big day. I am obsessed with every picture she took, it’s hard to pick my favorite. She is easy-going, fun, and extremely talented at what she does, which helps alleviate the anxiety of getting photographed in public. The key is to be yourself, let your love shine, and have FUN - all easy things to do around her. I found Meredith after seeing her pictures of my friend's wedding that were amazing! She was very organized, professional and responsive during our planning process. I'll also say patient as, like many of you, we were extremely busy leading up to our big day! We had a quick turn-around (5 months), our dog was recovering for surgery and were also preparing for a cross country move shortly after our wedding. We had a nice meeting with her shortly after we booked to discuss what we wanted. Meredith provided a great book with all you need to know about the details for each kind of shoot, the day of schedule and a nice checklist of what to bring so I could keep organized. Of course, we got a little off schedule on the day, but they were able to adjust quickly and roll with it! We had a great day with Meredith and Chris and got beautiful pictures! I also had some guests come up and compliment how unobtrusive they were. I would highly recommend them for any wedding or special occasion photography and will definitely use them again!

Meredith and her second photographer Chris were the best pair for the job! My husband and I could not be happier from our photos, the experience, the process, and everything in between. They make it so fluid and easy and they make you feel comfortable throughout the entire day. As the bride, I felt comfortable with Meredith during preparation as she was very clear in direction yet natural in each moment captured. My husband said Chris was one of the boys and enjoyed the process- and he normally hates getting his picture taken but he had fun! Our pictures for preparation were fun, at the church it was formal, the beach photos captured great moments and the reception was tons of fun moments that I didn't know they got. For me, our Sunday pictures were gorgeous and they planned that perfectly! I've already recommended her services to my friend getting married next year- and plan to continue recommending! There is something about a Wedding photographer that makes you feel like your their family... Meredith and Chris(second shooter) of Meredith Jane did just that. I really wanted them to drop their cameras and join the wedding party, because they are just the best people. From day one...Meredith was so overly sweet and communicative in regards to every detail. I am a very OCD person when it comes to planning and wanted to know every detail. She was so detailed that I felt like I didn't need to ask any questions. When I wanted random info I would email her at all hours of the night and she would respond so fast and put my mind at ease. I was very clear about wanting specific photos during my wedding and Meredith made it a point to make them happen. Her cost is completely reasonable considering the work she does should be featured in a bridal magazine. There aren't enough good things I can say about her and Chris. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and eye for good shots made my wedding everything I could have hoped for. She captured every moment I wanted and then some. On top of this she made my husband and I feel so comfortable, we felt like we could be ourselves the entire time...and the pictures reflected that. Photography was probably the most important thing to me when planning my wedding...and I know had I chosen someone else I wouldn't have been so happy. I am over the moon about Meredith Jane Photography.

Meredith was absolutely amazing! The pictures came out so gorgeous and I could not be happier! I am amazed at how many pictures she provided us, when it did not even feel like we spent the night taking that many photos at all! I don't even know where to begin with Meredith. SHE IS A GODSEND! I honestly talked to at least 100 photographers before finding her and knew immediately she was the one for us, and I was right. Not only was she incredibly flexible, kind, and graceful through me nitpicking every detail of the contract (It's my dad's fault - he raised me this way! lol), but she blew us away in every other aspect as well.

She gives the exact perfect amount of guidance while taking photos. My husband (eek!) and I, as well as our families, are a whole bunch of super awkard "what do we do with our hands?" kind of people. She gently guided us throughout the process with instructions and now we have stunning photos to show for it! I've never had a photographer do such a great job with instructions.

Lastly, and most importantly, THE PHOTOS! I feel like they are from a magazine. I want to cover my walls in all of the photos. She is just phenomenal.

I've honestly already recommended her to everyone I know who is engaged right now, and you'd be amiss to choose anyone else for your photos.

5 stars will NEVER be enough.
I found Meredith Jane Photography on instagram by chance a year ago. My now husband and I met up with Meredith and Chris. We immediately hit it off. We wanted to hang out with them all day. They are the nicest most down to earth people.
They did our engagement session last February and we were absolutely blown away. We knew then that we had made the right decision for our wedding photographer.
Our wedding was January 6. There was snow on the ground and it was 30 degrees out the day of our wedding. Meredith and Chris were unbelievable. We felt so comfortable with them had so much fun while we were all outside taking pictures. You would have never known we were all freezing! They took any and every shot we asked for and of course so many more.
We recieved our wedding pictures and we are COMPLETELY blown away. The work that Meredith and Chris put in shows, they are absolutely amazing.
