  The food was excellent!! Chef Howard and Sharon did a great job with our wedding. They set up on time, everything looked great. The staff was great and I recommend them for anyone having a wedding in South Florida.

  Words cannot express how wonderful Chef Howard and Sharon of Catering Concepts are! Sharon walked me through the wedding planning process completely. She has a wonderful personality and loves what she does.They were beyond attentive to my budget and needs and created a perfect menu. My guest are still talking about the chicken with chorizo stuffing. Sharon the "Lechon" was a hit! with my island family. The garlic mash potatoes and the veggie medley to die for...and it wasn't just me. My guests were over the moon for your food!!! Which means more to me than so many other details of the wedding. Concept catering will do thier absolute best to treat you the day of like a princess. After the ceremony and cocktail hour, sharon brought over to our sweet heart table a tray with all our cocktail hour selctions. CRAB CAKES!!! To die for and bruchetta that cannot be described...I could go on but lastly I will just say using Catering concepts was by far the best decision I made for my wedding and only wish other brides get the wonderful treatment that I did.

  Catering Concepts was an absolute dream to work with for our beach wedding. Sharon Muriente worked with us to create the most beautiful day while working within our budget. We met with Sharon about 7 months before the wedding and immediately were put at ease knowing we had the best person to assist us with putting together the important details. Sharon booked our food, photographer, DJ, cake, tables/chairs, décor, flowers for the ceremony and reception (except for the bouquets/boutonnieres…per my request), as well as a full open bar. I honestly did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day except for being a bride!
  
  We attended a tasting event with Chef Howard a couple of months before the wedding and got a sampling of what we would have at our wedding, including wine. We went with passed hors d’ouevres for the cocktail hour and a buffet dinner with our choice of entrees. Sharon and her staff ensured that my husband and I were able to eat and drink while getting our photographs taken by bringing trays out to the wedding party. Our guests raved about the food and went back for seconds and thirds! We actually sent food home with many of our guests and froze the rest for future meals.
  
  The cake was absolutely gorgeous and consisted of a bottom layer of chocolate and a top layer of amaretto. It was moist and went well with a full coffee / tea station.
  
  The décor was beautiful with purple orchids wrapped around bamboo poles and tiki torches wrapped with flowing fabric to coordinate with the wedding colors for our ceremony. The reception was so gorgeous with extra tall vases filled with orchids, little bouquets of hydrangea and fantastic bark pieces delightfully set with more orchids. We had candles to provide soft lighting and lavender accents…along with some pieces I created myself to bring our purple starfish theme to life.
  
  Sharon and her staff ensured that everyone had enough food, drinks and had the best time ever. They were polite, courteous and very professional. They handled everything from set-up to break down and made sure that our venue looked the same when we left as when we entered.
  
  I would highly recommend Catering Concepts to anyone who wants a stress free event that will be planned to perfection!

  Catering Concepts is wonderful. Sharon worked with me and my fiance to find a meal that fit within our budget. Service at the wedding was wonderful and the guests loved the food. The chef even made a couple of trips to the guests' tables, which the loved. I highly recommend!

  Since my first visit to Catering Concepts facilities, I became confident with their presentation of the services to be rendered.
  Afterward the day of me daughters wedding I was able to be greatly impressed with the profesionalism shown by all the crew members and the quality of the catering products given.
  I was also impressed with all the decorations and furnishings they provided us.

  The food was amazing and we got many compliments after the fact that guests loved it. No one usually remembers the food at weddings but people remember (and loved) ours. Cynthia was amazing and took care of anything and everything. The entire staff was very friendly. My wedding reception was beautiful, stress free and for the money I got amazing food and service. Would highly recommend and will definitly be using again for other events.

  Great food, great service! I did not want traditional "wedding food" served at my wedding (you know, cold chicken and vegetables). The food was amazing. We had the mahi mahi with pineapple/mango chutney and the churrasco steak. Both were great!

  Our relationship with this vendor was managed by our wedding planner, Melissa Caceres of Events on a Budget (http://www.eventsonabudget.com). I really enjoyed the invitation to Chef Howard's kitchen and have a nice tasting event (with wine!). My husband and I actually went twice. Once to try the food and the second time because we chose a few menu items we had not tried and Chef Howard offered to have our selections at the tasting, so we could try them. He was very professional, knowledgeable and we could tell right off the bat he is very committed to the quality of his work. My husband and I missed most of the cocktail hour since we were taking pictures, but when we sat down for dinner, they brought over an entire plate of bite-sized crab cakes with this amazing sauce. I couldn't stop eating them! The food was great, too. Very big portions of meat. I couldn't eat it all because I was tied into a corset dress and it was NOT going to let me fill up on food, lol. Highly recommend trying the honey nut crusted chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, crab cakes, Asian salad and beef with shallot brandy glaze. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

  Catering Concepts is an excellent vendor. From the beginning to the end, they listened to all my requests. The quality of the food was great and the servers were very professional. They offer a nice sample of their food, which is very important before you make the decision of hiring a caterer.

  if you want class and details in your wedding Catering concepts is the place to go! Sharon is amazing at what she does and she will work with every budget!! I will always contract her company for any celebration! this year she will help me with my mother's 60th birthday and i know it will be beautiful.

  We chose Catering Concepts based on the fact that they were the most flexible with us on creating a unique menu and they're prices were reasonable; they even worked with us adjusting the price according to what we wanted to spend more money on and vice versa. We also chose them because you get two tastings-one general one to see what Chef Howard's cooking is like (Amazing by the way!) and the second one to taste additional items from their menu or to sample some of the entrees and sides specific to your wedding menu. Both of these tastings were delectable!!! We wanted Indian/Latin food fusion and we got it with Cashew yogurt Chicken Korma, Gallo Pinto, Cinnamon Saffron Rice, Spiced green beans, and mahi mahi with a tropical salsa. It really was great to work with Chef Howard and it's clear that he knows ethnic food and can elegantly fuse different concepts together.
  
  They are also one of the highest rated catering companies in South Florida. We enjoyed working with Sharon, their event manager. She had some lovely ideas that really helped us to shape the look and feel of our day. As a very popular company, they were not as responsive as I would have liked; however, they were VERY flexible. We were transferred across the country three months before our wedding. At our request last minute, we were able to schedule our venue walk-through and final tasting before the big move. Sadly, it seemed to me that the food just didn't taste as good on our wedding day as it did at our final tasting, but this might have been because they were cooking for more people or because I wasn't thinking so much about the food, or because with every bite I swallowed I could feel my dress getting tighter and tighter.   Chef Howard was amazing! He was passionate about what he did, and was definitely VERY good at it! Sharon was my wedding coordinator, and she was great! I had some issues with getting in touch with her at times, but she's a very busy person - for sure! She still made the day absolutely beautiful for us!! I would highly recommend she and Chef Howard!

I had some issues with getting in touch with her at times, but she's a very busy person - for sure! She still made the day absolutely beautiful for us!! I would highly recommend she and Chef Howard!

  The food was fantastic and our guests have raved about it all week! The only reason I gave a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because a DELICIOUS salad other than the caesar salad that our daughter had requested was served.( Must have been a misunderstanding because the one that was served was the one WE wanted not what the bride wanted.) Also we were told there would be roasted potatoes and carrots along with the beef and gravy and there wasn't. HOWEVER, the chef may not have thought we wanted that in addition to the mashed potatoes and vegetable medley that we requested. These are very minor things and we would highly recommend Catering Concepts. Sharon was wonderful to deal with and made sure everything was just right...I also need to mention that the venue we booked DID NOT have ANY kitchen facilities and it was about 45 min. to an hour away! Our guests were amazed that Sharon and her crew were able to serve the food as if it were cooked and prepared on premises.

  We used catering concepts for our wedding. We had two different choices for dinner and both were very good. They also provided our bar service. I took away points since the drinks were slightly weak. They also cut my wedding cake and just left a few pieces on the table. Didn't pass it out to the guests. I didn't notice since I was everywhere that night. I am lucky my planner saved us some otherwise I wouldn't of even tasted it.

Randy was so attentive, professional and FUN to work with. Whole Foods provided a lovely cocktail reception with a wide selection of delicious food for our guests. They took care of everything from renting additional supplies to flipping the space and making sure that our bride and groom were taken care of during the reception. I highly recommend this vendor!

  Catering Concepts did an amazing job cordination many of our services. Not only were they helpful with the services we had through them, the staff went above and beyond anything we expected. It was almost as if we had also hired a wedding coordinater. They did such a great job, I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

  Everything was very good. Sharon was very accommodating. We were a little late to the reception, but she adjusted everything to fit our needs. The food was excellent! Prices are very competitive. The only negative I have to say is that every little thing is extra. However, I think this is always the case when using a catering company. Overall- Very good!
