Absolutely incredible! Meleah was warm, welcoming, listened to exactly what I wanted, and delivered! We had video calls since we were located remotely from each other before the big day and I knew exactly what to expect to ensure a smooth hair and makeup process! She sent follow-up emails and instructions which made the wedding day “getting ready” process seamless. My hair and makeup lasted looking brand new throughout the entire day and night. I would 1,000% recommend Meleah and her amazing work to future brides. -

I truly cannot recommend Meleah and her team highly enough. Choosing a hair and makeup artist was incredibly important to me, and from our very first Zoom call, I knew Meleah was the right choice. Her organization, attention to detail, and genuine care immediately stood out, and those qualities carried through every step of the process.
One of the things I appreciated most was how seamlessly Meleah managed everything. She coordinated directly with my bridesmaids—collecting inspiration photos, understanding their individual hair types and preferences, and providing clear, personalized prep instructions ahead of the wedding day. It made such a difference not having to manage those logistics myself, and it ensured that everything ran smoothly and on schedule from the very start.
My trial with Meleah was fantastic and completely confirmed my decision. She is incredibly talented and also refreshingly honest—she helped guide me toward a look that felt like me, but elevated. I walked away feeling confident and excited, which is exactly what you want going into your wedding day.
On the day itself, Meleah and her team were everything you could hope for: calm, organized, professional, and genuinely fun to be around. They created such a positive, relaxed atmosphere while keeping everything running perfectly on time. And the results were flawless—my hair and makeup lasted all night (through hours of dancing!) and still looked incredible at the very end. Bottom line up front: you should go with Meleah & Co for your hair and makeup. You WILL NOT regret it!! I had thought about doing my own makeup for a bit and I’m glad I didn’t. We did a trial and she was honest with me about what would and wouldn’t look good or would be imprudent on my wedding day. She was right about everything she suggested and said. Her whole team was just phenomenal!! I had multiple nieces 11 years old and under and she selected stylists that just worked amazingly with kiddos. All my bridesmaids turned out GORGEOUS and we couldn’t have been happier. Besides all of this, I learned a ton from her: from how to prevent oily hair and washing properly to best products and uses of mousse. She was calm and helpful when I didn’t have my hair fully dry after my shower, yet, the morning of the wedding and helped me so we stayed on schedule. She personalized each of our prep based on our hair type and length and communicated exceptionally well. As you can tell by the length of this: I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. We took dance lessons from Meleah for our First Dance. Meleah was excellent — patient and thorough. Even though my wife and I had absolutely no experience with foxtrot, she made the learning so easy & fun. I like the way she structured the lessons by slowly building things up from the fundamentals. I thought her way of giving feedback was just right — not overly positive or too harsh. Towards the end, she made us practice backwards from the end of the song to the beginning, and I thought that was a smart touch. Overall, it was such a fun experience to learn from her. Would highly recommend! -

I was married in September 2025, and only had about a month to plan my out of state wedding in San Diego. I found Meleah online and it was an absolute blessing. Prior to accepting the job, Meleah and I exchanged emails and had a web meeting to discuss my wishes and I sent her photographs of what I was looking for. Meleah was very up front about what would work best, sent me a contract for services, and accepted a reasonable deposit prior to our appointment date.
I requested a last minute change to the appointment venue which Meleah was able to accomidate.
Prior to the appointment, Meleah sent me clear and easy to follow instructions with suggested product to use.
The day of my wedding, Meleah was on time, was very professional and prepared and was extremely fun to work with. She has a great personality, and helped calm my nerves on my big day.
My hair and makeup turned out better than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend Meleah's hair and makeup services for any wedding or special occasion. -

Maleah gave my fiance and I dance lessons AND she did hair and makeup for both me and my mom. I would recommend her to anyone getting married -1000%. I was very nervous about dancing as I do not tend to have the best coordination. But she was very patient and able to adapt her teaching to help me learn. In the end everyone was impressed by our first dance!
Additionally, I wanted a simple/natural makeup look which Maleah achieved perfectly. My hair doesn't hold a curl well but she was able to help me prep my hair so that it held the style all night. My mom was also very happy with her hair/makeup.
All around I had an amazing experience working with Maleah. She was a big factor in helping me feel confident going into my wedding day both for the first dance but also for my hair/makeup look. -

One of things I appreciated most about Maleah, was her responsiveness and communication. I kinda gave her full creative control and she totally went with it. Meleah is a fantastic stylist and a even better person. We started working together four months prior to our wedding with a trial, where she both showed me what my hair was already capable of, as well as giving me instructions for how to make it even better for the wedding. She was extremely responsive, giving immediate feedback when I sent videos from my hairdresser after putting in the layers Meleah requested. The day of, she and her colleague were extremely professional, showing up on time and quickly working through 8 people, getting us all ready on the big day. Meleah has such a wonderful energy. It's obvious that she wanted everything to be perfect for my magical day. We did a trial session at her studio of my makeup, and talked about how I wanted my hair. She gave me lots of good ideas to prepare for the day, including a plan of exfoilating to ensure my face and neckline looked amazing at my wedding. She has great emails with details on what to expect, and what is needed. The week of the wedding, she sent a reminder of the things that I needed to do, including how much mouse to put into my hair that morning. On the day, she arrived exactly ontime at my friends house, we looked at a few different spots to find the perfect light. She was super flexible and easy going, the best light was in the bedroom, so she spread out a towel and all her makeup on the bed. She made the time fun, and since we'd done the trial, it went quicker than I expected. She was fun, made me feel so beautiful, and my hair ended up being prettier than I thought possible. -

Amazing hair and makeup artist
I highly recommend Meleah for hair, makeup, and dance lessons! Meleah was very quick to respond to answer all my questions. We quickly setup a consultation for hair and makeup where she immediately shined her expertise in recommending styles and colors for my face shape and skin tone. She knocked it out the park with the first style and made notes to execute it quickly for the day of. Some weeks later, I remembered that she teaches dance lessons and provides an excellent price for those she’s already working with for hair/makeup. In summary, she did an amazing job teaching my now husband and I our first dance, as well as choreographed a piece for my dad and I. On top of that, she also executed hair/makeup for my bridesmaids! Meleah is a rare breed who is very talented, personable, professional and will not disappoint. If you’re looking for a hair/makeup/dance expert, look no further, she’s amazing! -

We absolutely loved every moment of working with Meleah! She is a true professional and expert at what she does. Extremely responsive, and so detailed and knowledgeable!
I really appreciated the checklist and documents she had ready for everyone getting their hair and makeup done - it saved me so much time and she also communicated directly with each person about their needs and how they should prep!
I was SO nervous about finding someone to work on my hair. It’s extremely curly and thick and every time I’ve had my hair done for a formal event, I always end up redoing it myself, so I don’t trust just anyone to do my hair, especially because I wanted to wear my natural curls for the wedding. I felt immediately comfortable with Meleah. I truly felt like she listened and asked several questions to understand my hair type and its tendencies and my vision for my hairstyle. I cried after our trial because I loved it so much and she made it look gorgeous. I’ve never had an experience like that before with my hair. The day of the wedding it was flawless and I didn’t even give it a second thought the entire day! Her makeup style is so amazing too! I have lots of freckles I didn’t want to cover and wanted to aim for a lighter and natural foundation and she totally nailed it! 15/10 on communication, she asked questions and checked in every step of the way to make sure I was fully satisfied.
My husband and I also did dance lessons with her which were so worth it! I’ve had experience with dancing, but my husband hadn’t and was very nervous. Everyone at the wedding was so excited to see him dancing so smoothly and he felt so confident! Meleah is an excellent teacher! She does it all!
As far as pricing, she is really reasonable too. She is an absolute delight to work with and I’m so glad she was a part of our day! -

She was incredible to work with for our choreographed dance. I came into it with anxiety around what my partner and I wanted to accomplish in such short time. Amazing Hair Stylist!!!
My experience with Meleah was absolutely fabulous! I cannot even express how much I loved working with her! From the hair trial to the actual wedding day, Meleah was the best! She was very prompt in her responses to me when I reached out and very thorough in her instructions on how to prep my hair before our first appointment. Meleah’s energy and lovely personality made everything so much more fun. She came over to my house to do my hair on my wedding day and having her bright energy there truly made the start of my wedding day so much better. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, my hair was amazing! Meleah is absolutely wonderful!
I got married a few months ago in July and found her through the Knot App and loved her style for hair and makeup. Meleah is very organized and thoughtful when it comes to your style. Her and her stylists also did hair and makeup for my whole bridal party. Everyone looked amazing!
In addition to hair and makeup, my husband and I also took dance lessons with Meleah. My husband and I were both inexperienced with professional dancing but Meleah was amazing in guiding us as she choreographed a dance to a song my husband and I chose. We nailed the dance at the wedding! 11/10, would recommend going to Meleah for both hair and makeup, and definitely for dance lessons!

We took five dance lessons with Meleah and performed an incredible choreographed dance at our reception. Meleah is Incredible!
Meleah is fantastic to work with! All of her experience and knowledge of skin types, hair color, and texture made me really feel at ease during the whole process. I chose to get my makeup trial done for my engagement photos and it turned out amazing! I don't wear much makeup working from home, nor do my bridesmaids and she & her team did an incredible job. It looked so natural and we felt stunningly beautiful!!
She did a great job ensuring we were all prepared for the day-of. We sent inspirational makeup & hair photos ahead of time and how we need to prep our hair and skin too.
During my makeup trial, she showed me a picture of the hairstyle I described and one she recently did. It was exactly what I wanted, so I didn't even do a hair trial. And my hair was so gorgeous, I received so many compliments. Our venue was outside on the water during the ceremony and all of our pictures were on the water. I was worried the wind would blow out my curls, but it stayed perfectly curled and in place the entire day!

One of the hardest parts of planning my wedding was finding a makeup artist to respond to my queries, but Meleah was the first to do so and she did it so timely! I opted not to do a trial session for my courthouse ceremony and yet she still made the appointment seamless despite having never met her before! Both my hair and makeup looked stunning (and stayed the entire day), and she even gave me some great pointers for my eyebrows and skincare. Responsive and detail oriented
I picked Meleah because of how organized and communicative she is. She asked important questions and I felt like she knew exactly what I needed and had in mind for my wedding. I set up a trial for hair and makeup which I used for our engagement photos and I was blown away by her attention to detail and lasting power of the makeup and hair styling. My curls lasted 2 days after the shoot! From planning to prep to the day of the wedding, Meleah was so helpful and knowledgable, and extremely talented at both hair and make up. I (the bride) do not typically wear make up so I wanted a more natural look, and Meleah nailed it on the test run and again on the wedding day. She also did the most stunning twisted bun for my hair that looked elegant and stay put through the entire night. Meleah was very helpful in answering and offering guidance through the entire process. She even offered to jump on Zoom calls with my bridesmaids to talk through any question they may have. Additionally, she went above and beyond in helping with prepping the veil so it fit perfectly with the hair. Made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day
Hair and makeup was by far the most difficult vendor for me to book when planning my wedding. When I found Meleah (recommended to me by my coordinator) she was the third HMUA I had tried and I'm so happy I found her. She took all of my notes from my first two hair and makeup trials that didn't go well with other artists and asked me questions to make sure she knew what I was going for. Our trial went so well and I was excited to immediately book her.
On the day of, it was her and two other HMUAs that came to our Air BnB. They came on time, left on time, and made me/my bridesmaids/mother of the groom feel and look so pretty! There's so much pressure to look your best on your wedding day and after getting out of Meleah's chair, I felt so calm and ready to get the rest of the day going! Every time I look at our pictures, I'm so happy with how the hair and makeup came out. And it lasted all the way through the wedding night, even after all the dancing/sweating/happy crying. Meleah is absolutely incredible! Her hair/make up services and dance lessons are phenomenal! My husband and I took just a few dance lessons with Meleah and she made us look and feel like we were pros! She's a great instructor and really knows how to teach! Her hair and make up is also beautiful! I told her I wanted to look like a mermaid for my wedding and almost all of my guests told me I looked like a mermaid!! I cannot recommend Meleah enough. She is nothing short of a hair genius! My husband (fiance at the time) had a special request for her to create a "punkrock mermaid" look for me and boy, did Meleah deliver! She created a beautiful look with just the right amount of edge to satisfy my husband's request, fit my personality, AND still make it look feminine, soft and bridal.
She also had the added challenge of creating something that would withstand the elements (we got married on the beach) AND remain in tack for 16 hours (we had a 9am ceremony and 6pm reception). It did all that and even survived a midday nap!

Meleah was awesome to work with! The pre-trial was super helpful and I love how she knows how to work with Asian hair texture (which is what I have) and made the pictures I showed her into reality. I loved the final product and my hair stayed in its curls all night long! I love how my hair looks in all of the pictures! As for the makeup, she nailed the natural look. Meleah and her team was absolutely amazing, they came in clutch! Our wedding was on 4th of July in downtown San Diego, it wasn't until a couple months before when my MoH and I decided we wanted someone to do our hair and makeup. Meleah was such a joy to work with. I was having issues with booking a vendor for hair and make-up for me and my wedding party. I was starting to lose hope. Our wedding was on Leap Day 2020, one year ago, and we were planning it from the East Coast. I was a bit unsure about booking someone without having done a trial early on but I didn’t have a choice since I wasn’t going to be in town by the time I got around to finding a makeup/hair stylist. But, Meleah turned out great! Our wedding was on a Saturday, I got the trial done on Wednesday and she had me take photos of how my hair held up throughout the day. She was really easy to talk to and took all my preferences into consideration. We had a very small bridal party so she did my hair and make up and one of my bridesmaids’ hair and make up in the hotel room which worked out very well. My hair and make up was beautiful and lasted perfectly through the entire day and night.
