Beautiful and stress free

I am an awful planner, but Missy and the staff at Medina entertainment center took all the stress off my shoulders! They took such good care of everyone, and did an incredible job at putting us all at ease. Everyone on board was so sweet, the wait staff at the bar gave us so many kind words. Thank you again for making our day so special and stress free!

Amazing from beginning to end

Everything was perfect!

What an amazing place and such great staff! We are so happy we went with the ballroom as our venue for ceremony and reception. Christine went above and beyond for us in making us feel comfortable through the pandemic and just the stress alone in planning a wedding.
The food was simply amazing and we got so much positive feedback from our guests. We had a plated dinner and the staff got everything out in a timely manner and were really on top of clearing as we finished our meals.
10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much, for everything!

Amazing Service! Superb Food!!!

From the outside, this event center doesn't look like much. But TRUST ME! Give it a chance. We had our wedding reception in the grand ballroom and it felt like we were in a dreamy, whimsical garden with the flowing white drapery and lanterns hanging from the ceilings. Truly, this place gave me goosebumps the moment I walked in for set up. The location and the look isn't what sold us though... it was the staff and the food. We were supposed to get married at a different location but had to postpone due to COVID, Medina Entertainment Center took us in with open arms and it could NOT have been more amazing!!
One of the event coordinators, Christine, went above and beyond her duties to ensure our wedding, food, drinks, and all of it went off without a hitch. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process and helped us navigate wedding planning during COVID. She doesn't make you feel rushed and really cares that you and your significant other are well taken care of.
As if all of this was not good enough.... THE FOOD! My GOD! My husband had one taste of their angus beef short ribs and A) said this is what he was eating on his wedding day and B) that it was the best beef dish he had ever had. Even our pickiest eaters had nothing but amazing things to say about this food. Another thing, Christine and her staff take food allergies/accommodations extremely seriously.
Overall, if you want wedding planning to be less stressful, have good food, great wine, an amazing location then I don't think you have to look any further. Love this place and its people!!

Amazing Venue

I am so happy that I chose MEC as my reception location. Christine was amazing to work with. She was very responsive and rolled with all the changes or questions that I had. The food was amazing, our guests keep bragging about it.

Wonderful venue

WOW! Medina did a wonderful job for our big day. We truly enjoyed every minute of our day because the staff was so wonderful, Missy (the event coordinator) went above and beyond our expectations, and the venue was able to accomodate our guest list of 200. Every detail leading up to our wedding was stress free because of the wonderful job Missy did in our planning meeting. We loved the food, it was all delicious! We had a buffet and all of our guests made it through the line within 20 minutes and all had HOT food! We also had a live band and this venue was phenomenal for a band! The set up was great. Medina offers tons of extras that made the day stress free! Thank you to all the staff at MEC for making our day so perfect!

You won’t be disappointed with Medina!

We just had our wedding at Medina Entertainment Center Sunday Sept 1st and we couldn’t be more happy with how everything turned out! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the space/decorations were, which we did very little and we were in the Ballroom, how good the food was and how amazing their team was the entire evening. We particularly loved Chuck the security guard. He was on top of things, took extra care of our gift box and added a little humor to the evening which was awesome! We worked with Christine who was amazing from the beginning. She made everything seamless, was always good at answering my questions and understanding when we made changes. It was such a beautiful day/night and we owe a lot of that to everyone at Medina. We would highly recommend having your wedding or any event at Medina you won’t be disappointed!

Best Wedding Venue - Hands Down!

Medina did an amazing job for our wedding! I would recommend Christine and the whole Medina team over and over again. We had a very large wedding in the ballroom with over 250 guests and everything was great. The planning part was so easy with Christine's help. During the reception people got through the buffet line quickly and everything tasted excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful through out the night including the security guard who helped us pack up at the end of the night. Great venue!

All-In-One Venue

My husband and I wanted a venue that could accommodate a ceremony and reception in the same building. We wanted both events to be indoors due to unpredictable MN weather, and a hotel next door for our out of town guests and for those who wanted to stay all night and not have to worry about driving home. After looking at two other venues before Medina Entertainment Center, we needed to look no further. The venue is beautiful, and the catering coordinators (Missy and Christine) are AMAZING at what they do!! They were super friendly, patient, and helped my husband and I every step of the way; and the other catering staff worked like a well oiled machine the day of our wedding too. If we were to do our big day over again, I would still pick the Medina Entertainment Center to be our venue!

Highly recommend, delicious food and great staff

Medina was so wonderful to work with for catering for our wedding. They were great from the very beginning and were very prompt with answering questions that had come up in the planning process. Missy was fabulous and was so helpful and really made everything go so smoothly on the big day! The day of the wedding was perfect, from the set up to the food, to the staff that helped serve at our wedding. Our guests continue to comment on how delicious the food was and that they have never had as good of food at a wedding before. I would highly recommend Medina for catering and am very happy we used them for our wedding.

Highly recommend!

We want to say how thrilled we were with Medina Entertainment Center! The food was fabulous! Many guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. It was spectacular! The Images room fit our party perfectly. The service and bar tending were top notch. It was a breeze working with you Missy. No hiccups. Everything was clear and timely. Elegant and Comfortable!

Amazing food, Amazing coordinator

Christine was our coordinator and she went above and beyond in every way to help us plan our big day! She responded to all of our questions so quickly and had ideas of what would work and what wouldn't. One of the biggest reasons we went with Medina is because the price you pay for the entire night is so reasonable for what you get. The food was sooo good (we recommend the kona crusted short ribs)!! People are still talking about the food a month later. They take care of so many things that hiring other companies for rentals wasn't needed. Our dj was even included since we went with their preferred company. We also rented bowling lanes during our cocktail hour and our guests loved it. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine and Medina! Thank you, Christine for making our day amazing!

High quality venue at a great value!

The planning process could not have been easier and the reception was perfection! Christine was wonderful to work with - easy to get ahold of, super flexible to our many changes, and made it a truly positive experience. We were in the Images room with approximately 85 guests and it was the perfect size. Food was incredible and many guests said it was the best meal they have had at a wedding. The bartender was awesome as well, and the kitchen staff was very quick at getting salads, main course, and cake out to guests. Great value with transparent pricing - would highly recommend!

Medina Entertainment Center was a dream to work with!

We worked with Christine for our wedding, and she was a delight. From every detail with the space, the food, and all of my last minute emails to make sure all things were good to go, she was great. The food was INCREDIBLE. Our guests said that it was some of the best food they had been served at a wedding. We chose to do buffet style. Missy is great to work with, she will meet with you and work with your schedule here at Medina entertainment to make your day the best. And the FOOD! All of our guests raved about it. They also have multiple options for rooms depending on how large your wedding is going to be. Lastly and most important to many- their prices are reasonable and they work with you to stay in your budget, which is hard to find these days.

I truly cannot say enough about this venue and staff. We predominantly worked with Christine and she worked hard to give us our dream wedding. From prompt communication to customizing decorations/lighting we were able to create the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the most important day of our lives!! Not to mention, guests raved about how terrific the food was. It is truly a remarkable venue and Christine ensured that it was a night filled with memories to treasure !

I could not have asked for a better experience. The planning was smooth and painless thanks to Missy and her team!! The Venue was GORGEOUS and exactly what we were looking for with lots to entertain a wide variety of ages (1 - 82). The food was amazing and I eagerly looked forward to my tortellini the day of our wedding! They made my big day seamless and stress free. 100% would recommend this venue.

My husband and I used Medina as our caterers for our wedding at the Plymouth Creek Center this past August. We had numerous guests tell us that the food was the BEST that they have ever had at a wedding! If you're looking for a caterer still I would stop looking now and book Medina. We worked with Christine and she is the best, whenever we had a question or just wanted to confirm some details again she responded quickly and with so much information. We were comfortable on our wedding day because she was there to coordinate everything with catering. If we were to plan a wedding all over again we would pick Medina in a heart beat because of how outstanding the service and food was!

For our second time as parents we have enjoyed the professional and amazing people @ Medina Entertainment. We had our son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner two years ago. We had our ceremony, social hour, and reception all in the "Images" room here. We worked with Christine in planning our wedding and we couldn't be more happy with our experience. Throughout the process she was so helpful and always responded to our emails and questions quickly, usually within hours of emailing her. The room we chose was the perfect size for our guest count of about 70 people and everything came together beautifully. The event staff did such a great job making everything flow smoothly, even with a small room flip between our ceremony and reception and they were very courteous, asking us how and when we wanted things done if they weren't sure. We got so may compliments on the event as a whole, but especially on the food. One of our guests even told me "Usually there's at least one dud food at weddings that just really isn't that good, but everything you had was absolutely delicious!"

Working with Medina Entertainment Center was great from start to finish and we would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a party.

Our wedding day was wonderful from the outdoor gardens ceremony to the indoor dinner and dancing ceremony. The Medina Entertainment Center had a very organized staff that set up a very organized time table and meal plan that we didn't have to worry about anything. Compliments to the chef on the food, especially the salmon as it received many nice comments from our guests. We will definitely have Medina Entertainment Center again in the future.

Medina Catering provided the food, beverages and desserts for the wedding reception that my husband and I hosted for our son and daughter in law who got married overseas. Christine went above and beyond in assisting us to select the food & beverage choices as well as providing pictures of suggested chair cover/sash options. She was super responsive & very flexible in answering our many questions and making last minute changes. The serving staff arrived on time, were very professional & did a wonderful job attending to our guests. I heard many, many comments on how great the food was. The presentation was lovely! I could not have been more pleased with the services from Medina Catering and would highly recommend them!

Our wedding had a guest county of about 70 people. We were doing just a short ceremony and then appetizers and a toast to the newly wed couple afterwards. We didn't have a big dinner/reception planned. We were either going to have MEC cater to a different location (outside venue) or have our wedding at MEC if the weather was poor. Missy, the catering/event coordinator, was absolutely AMAZING! She gave great suggestions and feedback to everything I was wondering and thinking of doing. She was extremely responsive and quick to hear from. She was always available and extremely personable throughout our whole experience. She wasn't going to be working the day of our event, but she introduced me to Lindsay, another coordinator there, and assured me that Lindsay knew everything and would be available the day of my event. Lindsay was a big help on our event day. She was there to help things go smoothly and paid attention to details, she even fixed my train before I walked because she saw me trying to do it myself. The kitchen staff was just as fantastic.They were quick and efficient with our set up plans. They spoke to me and my groom a couple of times just to compliment us and check in to see if we needed anything.
The venue itself is fantastic. They have three rooms to choose from depending on your preference and guest count. We rented the smallest option. They have great decor to choose from and you can bring your own! They are very open to working with you on everything you want to do regarding decorations/set up/etc. The rooms can be done up beautifully. They really transform themselves once you add decor and the lights are dimmed down. I, and my guests, were extremely impressed with how the room turned out.
All in all MEC and their staff was there for me the entire time with my event planning and the day of. I have no complaints! I would highly recommend MEC to anyone having ANY event, including something more formal such as a wedding.

Christine Raskob and Medina Entertainment Center did an absolute outstanding job for our wedding reception in July 2017. My family is from Maple Grove, MN area and has always enjoyed going to MEC for their various events over the years, so I knew MEC would be one of my top choices for a wedding reception venue (it was also within 5 miles of our church so convenience in transportation was a big factor!). Christine helped my fiance and I in planning our wedding reception from the very start. Throughout the planning process, we were able to meet with Christine for an initial consultation, were invited to attend a food/beverage tasting, had a details appointment to review all relevant information for our day, and lastly did a final walk through a couple days before the wedding to test out AV equipment and see the layout of the room one last time. Christine was prompt in her communication (phone/email) with me throughout the planning phases, was patient with my many emails/questions, and was most importantly helpful and supportive! I felt like I could really trust her through it all and appreciated her insights and suggestions for planning such a large event! On the actual wedding day, the reception couldn't have gone better. We received so many compliments and positive feedback on the food/beverage and service. Our reception banquet room was also adjacent to the MEC bowling alley so it was fun being able to reserve some lanes for guests as an alternative to individual party favors. Overall, we couldn't be happier with how the day went and are so grateful to MEC, Christine, and their staff for their hard work and making our wedding day a day we will cherish for years to come!! We had a GREAT experience working with Medina for our wedding reception! We rented out the big ballroom upstairs. We had 250 guests and there was plenty of room!! Such a spacious area!
Christine was AMAZING to work with! She took the time to answer every question and responded very quickly.
All of our guests were raving about the food and the space! We went with the buffet. With 29 tables I was concerned that some tables would have a long wait but everyone got their food very quickly!
I would definitely recommend Medina Entertainemnt Center to anyone for their wedding reception or large event!!

Thank you to Christine Raskob at Medina Entertainment Center!! She helped make our daughters day SOOO special. EVERYTHING went so smoothly! She gave us a list of referrals for flowers, DJ, Cake and Officiants. We used a vendor in each category and couldn't be more pleased (too mild a descriptive). She and they made EVERYTHING go so smoothly and our daughter got to be a "princess for a day". Exactly what my husband and I wanted for her. Thank you so much Christine!!

Medina Entertainment Center was an amazing place to have our wedding reception. The Venue was beautiful and reasonably priced. The coordinator was extremely flexible and professional. The food was amazing. And they were able to accommodate to all of our needs. I highly recommend this venue to others.

Exceptional service and professionalism throughout the planning process. We wanted a specific entree not generally given with a plated dinner and the Chef was flexible and agreed to do so! Missy is an absolute joy to work with and is great at communicating! All of our guests RAVED about the food served. They made our wedding night perfect!

Medina was amazing to us! We are still getting compliments all the time on how gorgeous the venue was, and how awesome the food was. The food was so good and my planner was awesome! The guests kept telling me all night how good the meal was. She was really there to give advice when needed and help deal with the parents when they had other ideas in mind. It was also great that she would get back to me in a timely fashion. Not the case with many of my other vendors. The Event Rooms were so nice that we just brought in centerpieces. It was also great that everything was included like cake cutting and security.

Medina Catering did a wonderful job for our reception. They are a vendor contracted with Plymouth Creek Center and have a lot of experience with them. From our tasting to the last call, their service was amazing. Christine's team and her professionalism and assistance was superior from a customer service stand point. At our tasting we chose a beef entree and thought this was the best choice for our guests because there were no bones. At our reception, the short ribs were served with a large bone. This may have been a miscommunication, and it is the only thing I can provide that may be considered negative feedback. I believe it may have been done because of the amount of meet in the serving. (Very large portions! We just felt it was easier without the bone.) The food was amazing and we heard very good reviews from so many people that evening, and many friends and family in the days and weeks after. This vendor was also able to satisfy our food allergy requests with great ease. (Gluten and Dairy) This made us really happy and we felt very comfortable with their sincere desire to fulfill our request.

The food was great, the prices are great for the value you get and the service was great too. I would highly recommend this venue. Missy Miller was also very responsive and always available to answer my questions and she was very flexible and professional - a great person to work with.

Everything about Medina Catering was wonderful. From the initial inquiry and the responsiveness to all questions we had along the way. Missy was truly so flexible to everything we needed and dealt with our mothers perfectly! We were able to try the food at a tasting and were thoroughly impressed. Medina worked with our venue perfectly and we had no issues with the flow of the evening. The food was amazing and many of our wedding guests complimented on how wonderful all the food was. The staff at the event was attentive to our needs as well as the guests and accommodated any special requests we had (i.e. releasing the tables with young children to the buffet first to allow them to fill their tiny bellys). The food was hot and the timing was just as planned. Missy at Medina even followed up right after the event to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend Medina to any bride looking for a caterer who will offer your guests good food and reduce your stress level! I have not a bad thing to say.

I have been to other wedding receptions and holiday parties at Medina in the past and was always happy with the service and the food is amazing. The prices seem a little high at first but you get so much for your money. Everyone was very helpful and informative through the whole process.

We had a terrific experience with Medina. They catered our daughter's wedding; a plated lunch, appetizers and drinks before lunch. The tasting appointment was well-organized and thoughtfully presented. Once we decided on Medina, we found it easy to work with Missy; she helped us make decisions without being pushy, and she always seemed happy to communicate with us. The food and service was terrific on the day of the wedding. The meals were attractive (pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, chicken mornay, and stuffed squash) and they tasted great. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The appetizers were really good, too, especially the sliders. The service was excellent, and we appreciated the details they attended to so each table was set carefully. We had a great experience with Medina!

This place was awesome! Missy was our event coordinator and it couldn't have gone better- thanks to her! She was so open to our suggestions and also gave us advice as to what she's learned in her years of planning. Missy was extremely professional and flexible. We had to make a minor change five days before the wedding and she made the changes immediately with no problem. The venue was gorgeous, I was nervous about having my reception in a ballroom as I was hoping for something a little more country, but I wouldn't have changed it now looking back. The staff was so fun and friendly also.

Wonderful experience with Medina as the caterer for my daughter's wedding! Missy was very friendly and professional. She made me feel confidient in helping plan the first wedding of our kids. I chose Medina Entertainment Center to cater for my wedding. It was the best experience I had with a wedding vender. From my very first contact, they were friendly and wanted to satisfy all of my needs. I worked with the same associate each time I came in to discuss the wedding day details. She was enthusiastic and helpful when it came to details that were still uncertain. Medina catering communicated extremely well through email. Whenever I had questions, I received a response within one day. Their service on the wedding day was excellent and timely. The meal was served very professionally. A guest told us that this was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding! Medina catering was easy to work with and they are a family business that recognizes the importance of family. They exceeded my expectations! I would choose Medina catering again in the future!

Medina Entertainment Center has the BEST wedding food! Every single one of our guests said this was by far, the best wedding food they have ever had! It was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Also, they were extremely organized and professional throughout the whole process. The Images Room at the Medina Entertainment Center was perfect for our wedding ceremony and wedding reception. The location and parking was perfect and we were able to use the Medina Inn for out of town guests. The room was set up exactly the way we agreed on and when we need some changes, the staff were accommodating and flexible.

One of the things I most appreciated was the advice and guidance given to me by the event planner at the Medina--Missy Walters. She was able to give me some great suggestions for planning the event that made everything work well and gave me ideas for suggestions for some of the other services that I needed. She was responsive and encouraging and I couldn't have done it without her!

This is NOT the least expensive option, but we are thrilled with the results, we got our money's worth! Many of our guests commented on it "being the best wedding food they've ever tasted", and several guests with youngsters were delighted at the bowling lane option during our cocktail hour, and these kids found the video game room also appealing(at their parents expense). Missy Walters was a huge help in going over options and helping us reach our decisions of menu, decorations, and timing of events(cocktails, cake cutting, dinner and dancing)

Working with Missy at Medina Entertainment Center was such a pleasure. Everything from the initial contact through discussing options, to the final event went so smoothly. There were no hiccups, everything was presented as planned and agreed upon. MEC is a fantastic venue for a wedding reception. We could not have been happier with the venue and Missy. The food not only looked delicious, but it was. The room was exactly what we were told it was going to be. Very friendly staff as well. Even helped clean up our stuff after the reception was over. Missy, the Coordinator at Medina, was FANTASTIC! She was always quick to respond to voice and/or emails. A wealth of knowledge. And we received a gift certificate for the restaurant after our event was over. We are looking forward to visiting again. A+ for Medina.

They went above and beyond for everything. I was able to set up my room the night before so i did not have to worry about it the morning of. Food was beyond amazing everyone is still raving about it almosst 3 weeks later. would highly recommend them.

Medina Entertainment Center grand ballroom

We had our wedding here this weekend in the grand ballroom on 8/31 and all I can say is WOW. It was absolutely magical. The space is incredible even without any decoration, but once we added the finishing touches it exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and well priced for the quantity we needed. We worked with Missy Miller; she made it so easy to plan out our day and helped everything run smoothly. The bar was wonderful with great drinks and great service. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We’ve been here for live music, Friday night dinners, and bowling and it’s always fantastic and the staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely attach some pictures once we get some back from our photographer! It was the best experience ever!!! Thank you all so much!

I can't say enough good things about Medina! We had my daughter's wedding reception here - we worked with Missy and she is simply fabulous. She was extremely helpful and flexible with all of our demands/requests. The food was WONDERFUL - all of our guests simply loved it! We had a nice small group of around 75 people. We had the IMAGES room and Medina - it was perfect! You will NOT be disappointed if you choose Medina!

Working with Missy from Medina was incredibly easy, she was so quick to respond to emails, she always made time to meet with us when needed and provided so much information. We had 3 caterers that we were required to choose from the vendor we used. We were originally going to pick one that was more "reasonable" in cost. We weren't happy with the tasting, and about 3 weeks before the wedding, we switched to Medina Entertainment. They were so willing to work with us. Their food was outstanding!! It was a little more expensive but well worth it. We had SO many guests tell us how good our food was. When I run into people that were at the wedding, they still comment on how great the food was. It was! Missy was so easy to work with and the staff the evening of the wedding were great- they followed up with us, did a great job on the gluten free plates and were very professional and kind. It was just a lovely and memorable evening thanks to Medina.

Our wedding turned out pretty much perfect at Medina. The staff was great to work with, and everyone had a fantastic time. We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the venue and the food. Only little snafu was not having the DVD player set up to do our slide show, but luckily one of our groomsmen had a laptop we used. The staff was very willing to work with us on our hosted bar items, when it was close to the end of the night, instead of tapping another keg, they let us just do canned beer for those still drinking and that saved us a lot.

My husband and I are so happy that we went with Medina, especially for a Friday wedding where the minimum is about $1,000 cheaper (you only pay for a small room rental fee, food for each guest, and a small security fee. Gratuity is added in too). Missy was a pleasure to work with, very prompt on my many questions via email, and even thought of a few details I hadn't but made sure I had them. Extremely flexible. We opted to not use the slideshow feature or the backdrop they provide for a fee (we were in the event rooms, and the dj was behind us on a stage with curtains for dinner. Beautiful enough), but did go for the octagon mirrors they have for rent and since they set that part up, it made our lives a little easier. We were able to set up what we wanted the night before (had a friend come in the morning of to set up floral centerpieces), they worked with Grandmas Bakery for delivery needs, and the food was absolutely fantastic. There's a reason they promote it so much- we got compliments from our guests, too. Bonus? We got our room at the Inn next door for having our reception here. Slightly expensive, sure, and we could've gone for a less expensive option. But honestly, with how good the service, accommodations, and the food were? We chose perfectly for us.

Medina did a wonderful job catering our wedding. We worked with Christine, who was helpful and creative in assisting us get the most for our budget. We appreciated her insights about their selections, recommended portions, and made us feel at ease about the whole process. She was very organized, and timely in her communications. For the wedding, the cocktail hour and dinner food was wonderful and we got many compliments from our guests about not only the food but also the friendly and professional Medina staff. One thing I would recommend to any couple - definitely do a tasting before you submit your order! Sometimes food descriptions can be misleading. We were so glad we did the tasting because not only were we able to try many things, we were more confident in the choices we did make. Medina hosted a very nice tasting with plenty of options to try out - we were so full by the end! It was great to work with this company.

Our details: We had a cocktail hour with three apps, and a buffet with two entrees. Guest count was about 115. We brought in our own wine from Trader Joe's, and industry standard corkage fee applied. We put some money towards the bar and had a keg of beer. Medina supplied mixed drinks and a selection of bottled beer. The total included 20% gratuity and tax.

This was the PERFECT venue after we looked at 4-5 venues prior to. When we visited for the first time, we were given a tour and a complimentary lunch from their restaurant (which is downstairs from the venue). They had a bowling lane as well. We were looking for a big space and they HAD it! It can accommodate up to 600 people. At my reception, my guests had so much room to get up and mingle and have some family space when kids were antsy! The venue came with such elaborate decorations which was included that I didn't have to do much decorating at all (seriously)!

I have service only 4 stars because although emails were prompt it was not the nicest at times. Missy was the main contact for me but she was out for awhile and there was another person covering for her who actually made me a little upset mainly because I was only writing to her to inquire and ask questions. Missy came back however I just wasn't getting the same customer service as I did before. Missy was nice and very experienced but I wish she was more genuine, at times.

Nonetheless, so many things came together and I am very satisfied. I wouldn't change a thing about it! One of our groomsmen went up and actually talked about how great the place looked!

I appreciate all comments as this is the only way to improve. This is true as I was out of the office getting married myself for 2 weeks and the person that was covering for me while I was gone no longer works at Medina. Email communication is so hard at times, as the tone can be easily misread.

I absolutely had a blast at my reception and everyone commented on how much fun they had as well. My only complaint I guess would be the pricing on some of the items seemed a little steep, but otherwise, the food was absolutely delicious, and the room size was perfect for us. We didn't have to do much decorating because the ceiling was already draped with twinkling lights and toole. It was beautiful. I would recommend this location for a wedding reception to anyone who is looking for someplace with a lot to do and excellent food, not to mention hotels close by. It's a great central location without being in the city. Definitely would go there again....

I'm so glad we found the Medina Entertainment Center. Christine is great. She helped us create a wonderful ceremony and reception space with wonderful decoration and food. We are using the Images room for both our ceremony and reception, and it's perfect for our event. There is a stage for the ceremony and the head table. There is a dance floor and a bar. Twinkle lighting, linens, chairs, tables, etc. included at no extra charge. The food and beverage minimum was very reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Very impressed.

there were two other weddings downstairs in the small rooms and they did an ok job of keeping the wondering drunks out

First off day of our wedding the food and catering staff was AMAZING!! We loved having them and truly appreciated everything they did to make our day so special. However getting there was hard, we spoke and worked with Christine as our main catering contact.. Christine was hard to work with and not flexible about tasting dates. We played many games of phone tag as well... when we finally got a tasting date the only real reason we picked median was because they offered a few things at a lower cost and we only got that offer because we meantioned meeting with another catering company... over all we probably won't got back to the restaurant and hopefully we won't have a reason to host an event that needs catering again.

My husband and I recently got married and had our reception at Medina Entertainment Center. We chose this place because they appeared to be willing to work with us and made these great promises. When it came down to it we had nothing but a headache.
The person we worked with was not very professional when we had problems making statements about people they suggested us to work with such as " I dont really have the greatest relationship with this person" and after many problems including issues hotel rooms that were reserved, food tasting choices, and promises of gift opening rooms... the day before the wedding we found out that after months of being told the problems were solved. Not much had been done. I never expected to be so stressed out the day before my wedding because of the venue rather than nerves. The sollution from Medina less than 24hrs before the wedding was for us to take it upon ourselves and help them out with names etc. Nothing got solved and it affected our guest list, accomidations, and was never even really appoligized for. I would not recomend this place unless you want a huge headache. I think its sad because they had good food and they origionally appeared to be so willing to work with you.
