The Place Was So Wonderful I Had My Wedding There on Sept. 10th My Family Love The Place Such Beauty n Alot Of Space I Will Recommend People To Go There It's Worth It. The Price Is Very Reasonable. The bed and breakfast was amazing. Our guest had an awesome time and everyone commented on how beautiful the property was. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to us. I highly recommend meeting with them to book this quiet, rustic and more than anything, just beautiful venue for your wedding or event.

If you want the perfect reception spot, look no further. The owners are gracious hosts who were a breeze to communicate with and the venue is like out of a fairytale. I was able to customize it exactly how we wanted, and it was so easy to transform! My guests didn’t stop talking about how beautiful the property is, and I couldn’t agree more.

Amazing venue and owners! We were scheduled to get married in a hurricane and they were very flexible with our needs and accommodations. As you have probably already heard, the meals are delicious and one of a kind.

What does a mother-of-the-bride do when her only daughter wants a wedding ceremony outside in nature and wants her wedding reception in a barn? I contacted the Bryants at Meadowbrook Farm Bed and Breakfast and made all of my daughter's wedding wishes come true! You cannot go wrong selecting this venue for your wedding day. The Bryants go above and beyond in making sure that your day is as special as you can make it. When booking this venue, you have not only the wedding day booked but also the day before and the day after for less than what you would pay for 8 hours at another wedding venue in the area. This gives you ample time to decorate the venue to your taste and ample time the day after the festivities to reminisce about the wedding day as you un-decorate the venue. This was like a dream come true for my daughter since she had a lot of DIY decor that she used for her special day. Oh yeah, also, since the venue is a bed and breakfast, there are two bedrooms inside the house and two cottage rooms (including the suite retreat where newlyweds have been known to spend their wedding night) separate from the main house where up to eight people can spend two of the nights and have breakfast, served by the owners, the following mornings. About breakfast - absolutely delicious!! Mrs. Bryant is a wonderful cook and baker. She uses locally grown ingredients (some ingredients are from their own garden) and makes sure everyone is satisfied. I could go on and on about this venue and the owners. It would be to your advantage to give the Bryants a call and schedule a tour of the property. There are so many sites on the property that lend themselves to great photo opportunities (arbor, mature trees, a silo, rustic outbuildings, fields, log building, the house, etc.) You will be surprised at the wonderful opportunity this venue allows for a memorable wedding day.

My husband and I had our dream come true wedding at Meadowbrook Farm Bed and Breakfast on November 4, 2017! All of our guests commented on the beauty of our venue! Debbie and Allen do an impeccable job of maintaining this fabulous place! We had an outdoor wedding and our reception was in their barn. With a little bit of chill in the air, Allen created a bonfire and our guests enjoyed our s’mores bar while celebrating our day!
Members of our bridal party were able to stay at the venue with us overnight in their other rooms. My husband and I? stayed in the Suite Retreat. It was perfect! We also enjoyed coffee as husband on wife the next morning on the private back porch overlooking the fields.
The next morning, Debbie and Allen served a delicious breakfast! Much of the ingredients came right from the farm! We completed our meal with an incredible cheesecake!
Thank you so much Debbie and Allen for allowing us to have our fairy tale wedding at your beautiful home! It was a dream come true! We will certainly be back to visit and spend anniversaries!

Meadobrook farm bed and breakfast was BEAUTIFUL! It was the perfect get away and wedding location for the weekend. We had such a great experience with the owners. They really did go above and beyond what we would expect and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had our September wedding at Meadowbrook Farm and I can not say enough positive things about this beautiful venue and the owners!! You are able to begin setting up the weekend prior giving you plenty of time to decorate which saves so much time allowing you to enjoy your wedding weekend! We had our rehearsal dinner in the barn the night before..we originally wanted it outside but the weather didn't cooperate so it was nice to have a back up. My family enjoyed staying at the B&B and raved about the breakfast each morning! If you are considering having your wedding here act fast as they book up very quickly the best kept secret is getting out:)

The Bryant's are awesome. They are the sweetest couple and try their best to make everything go smoothly with your wedding. Very down to earth and laid back. You get a lot of time before the wedding to set up and it makes for a more calm "day of" experience. The breakfast is fantastic! It is a three course meal and takes a bit of time but worth it. (just prepare to fit in the time into your schedule the day of.. :) ) The reception barn is one of the best places. Very spacious and everyone commented on how awesome everything was. We even had a bonfire! Thanks Deb and Alan for a awesome wedding!

We loved Meadowbrook Farm Bed and Breakfast! They wiil make every brides dream country wedding come true! They were very flexible with all of our preferences! Their food was amazing that they cooked us for breakfast both mornings! Lastly, they have a very reasonable price for what they offer! I highly recommend them!

We absolutely love this place! It's a one of a kind experience and we couldn't be happier with how our day turned out! The owners are so flexible and very helpful! This venue is the best in Hampton Roads!

This place is charming and beautiful. You can go both ways with this venue. We chose rustic and kind of casual!!! It was everything I dreamt my big day would be!!! Allen and Debbie are really nice and helpful but also not overbearing like I had experienced at other venues!!! We were so pleased with everything!!! Thank you again!!!

How can I give them a 10?!!! The venue itself is absolutely amazing! They are a bed and breakfast, 4 rooms up to 8 guests. We were allowed to set up all week before our wedding day and let me tell you how much that helped not stressing out the day before rushing!! There are numerous places to have your ceremony on the gorgeous property! It rained for my day but the barn served as a perfect plan b. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well. Most venues have a cut off time ect but they don't. They help with parking, beautifying the landscape (if you get married outside), clean up of the trash, anything that you need! I can not thank them enough!! If your looking for an amazing venue with more then awesome prices please go check them out!! Pictures do not do justice!! My husband and I definitely plan on going for a weekend get away and to renew our vows in the future!!

It was an amazing venue and much more flexible than other places that we looked at making our wedding way less stressful! It was beautiful and i could't ask for a better place for a rustic barn wedding!

Such a beautiful and affordable place to have a wedding! The owners were very helpful and friendly! The venue came with four rooms for two nights and included an amazing breakfast for all the guests staying at the venue. The owners were very flexible and I was able to start setting up for the wedding the weekend before. I would chose this venue again in a heartbeat.

Meadowbrook Farm Bed and Breakfast is amazing. The natural and open space was just what we wanted for our daughter's wedding. The Bryant's are warm and inviting and we felt in some way their home was ours while we we there. The barn was perfect for the reception and everyone commented on how the flow from the ceremony to reception couldn't have been any better. Thank you Meadowbrook for making the day so special!

Debbie was great to work with. We loved how flexible they were with us. We made multiple site visits in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and we could start setting up the weekend before. The four course breakfasts were amazing too. There are several places to take great photos around the property, and the barn is a great setting for a rustic themed wedding.

This is THE place to have your barn wedding. You won't find another venue in the area that is more beautiful or has a higher value for the price. The owners are extremely flexible and allow you to basically do whatever you want with the venue during the weekend of your wedding. That's right, the whole weekend. We started getting ready Thursday for our Saturday wedding, had the rehearsal dinner on the property and had until Sunday afternoon to clean up and head out. It was amazing. You also get two cottage suites and the two rooms in the house for overnight guests. My wedding here was a dream come true.

We originally planned our wedding for June 2015, and when our original venue in Maryland fell through we really didn't think we were going to find anyplace else that had everything we wanted and was still in our budget. But thankfully we found Meadowbrook Farms and were able to finally have our wedding in June 2016. The venue was exactly what we wanted - there were rooms on site so that our wedding party could stay with us, they were incredibly flexible in allowing us to decorate and setup early, we had freedom to choose our own vendors and set our own schedule, and there were multiple locations on the grounds to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in different places. It really was a fantastic value considering everything that was included. I especially appreciate that we were able to come to the venue the entire week before the wedding to decorate and setup - it gave us the chance to really make the space exactly what we wanted with a minimal amount of stress and also allowed us to visit with family the day after before worrying about cleaning up. The only issue we had was that breakfast (which was absolutely delicious!) took longer than anticipated so our schedule got a little thrown off in the morning. That was our fault for not planning correctly, but a good thing to keep in mind for future brides. Our wedding day was everything we had imagined and then some, and having such a perfect venue was a large part of that. We are very glad we found Meadowbrook Farms B&B!

After searching high and low for a venue for our special day that was what we were looking for we stumbled across Meadowbrook Farms B&B. Not only did they have the space (inside and out) they offered there B&B services and the main house to you for the whole weekend of our event. Husband and wife went above and beyond with breakfast for my parents the next morning (my stepmother is gluten and dairy free due to allergies) they made her special breakfast all for her and made her feel like a princess. The only thing that we had negative to say was we really wanted to have our dogs at the venue for pictures but they do not allow animals on the property so we had to schedule a secondary photoshoot for them. Other than that they were very accommodating and helpful, we did not have a normal wedding it was themed and I wore a black dress and this venue was the perfect setting for our idea of our dream wedding that we made come true.

We chose Meadowbrook Farm as our wedding venue because it was close by and had a lot of potential. The owners are both retired and were amazing to us. They were so flexible with our needs and wants, all we had to do was ask. The barn comes as is (however the last group left it) so hopefully they did a good job cleaning up their mess. Brides are able to leave any decorations behind they don’t want to take, depending on who goes before you this can be good or bad. We chose to take everything down others had left and store it in the upper part of the barn for others to use. Knowing that the barn is not well cleaned each event, we chose to sweep the ceilings, walls and floor. Because we had so much cleaning to do they allowed us to come and start working two weeks before the wedding. The wedding turned out amazing thanks to the extra time. The barn takes a lot of creativity to transform if you don’t like it as is.
The bed and breakfast really made the wedding weekend better. Along with us, my sister, and 2 cousins plus husbands and kids stayed at the venue. It was nice waking up and eating breakfast together. Everything we ate tasted amazing, they even serve dessert after breakfast. My cousins had kids which was not recommended but it turned out great, the kids were able to get their energy out in their huge yard. The breakfast may not be for young kids if you have picky eaters. They do have a dog Macy who is definably a watch dog but once she gets used to you see is really a gentle dog, just tough on the exterior to strangers. She will bark as you pull up the driveway or walk outside but never tries to bite or anything. The only negative would be how little is offered at the venue, the barn is an empty canvas, they offer 9 folding tables, and no chairs. They do recommend a rental group (distinctive event rentals) which we chose to get linens, tables, and chairs from. Overall, I am happy to have had my wedding here and would love to come back for an anniversary.

The barn is not air controlled, so I would suggest to pick a weekend that isn't too hot or too cool. Also, she has dolls everywhere in the house which can be interesting or creepy, depending on what you think. My photographer was completely horrified while I was amused. Their breakfasts were simply amazing and they are probably the sweetest B&B hosts I've ever had the pleasure to work with. We are hoping to make Meadowbrook Farms B&B our destination for our first year anniversary becasue we loved it so much.
