  We absolutely loved working with Rob and Aimee! They were both so sweet, fun and professional. Can't wait to get our photos back! I have no doubt they will be amazing!

  Rob and Aimee McDorman were the photographers for our wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia on February 1, 2014. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, flexible, fast and professional! The pictures are fantastic - Rob has an artistic eye that is very cool - he positions everyone so that the pictures end up looking like they're done for a magazine rather than your average wedding pictures. Their prices are really reasonable too, a lot less than local DC photographers - and you can get the digital copies of the pictures from them, which is really convenient. We really didn't want to spend a ton of time taking pictures and they worked with us, fitting all of the formal ones into about an hour. They also took pictures from the getting ready stage through to the end of the reception, so we have a lot of formal and informal shots (over 800 total) that are all great. We had a lot of kids at the wedding and they were great working with them too, lots of smiles in the pictures! I'd recommend them to anyone, fantastic photographers and really nice people too!

  Robert and Aimee McDorman were wonderful! They made sure to get all the shots we wanted, and went out of their way to make it happen. They were extremely accommodating, and our guests remarked on how easy they were to work with. Our engagement photos were gorgeous, and we can't wait to see the wedding photos!

  We were so happy with Rob and Aimee McDorman! Very professional and accommodating. Their quality of work is on the level of someone who charges thousands of dollars more. I highly recommend McDorman Photography for anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

  After our beautiful wedding day there were very few tangible items left behind to help us remember the happiest day of our lives...so far. The one thing that we will always have are the stunning pictures that Rob and Aimee took. When we began looking for photographers the recommendations for McDorman Photography seemed to come from everywhere. We scheduled an appointment for engagement pictures with Rob as a way to see if he would be a good fit for our wedding. Little did we know that we would be blown away with the work that McDorman Photography does. During our session together we felt comfortable and happy; and most important for us, we had a blast. The pictures that resulted from that session hang all over the walls of our home, our families' homes, and we even used them for save the dates and our guest book for the wedding. There was no doubt for us that McDorman Photography could be trusted with one of the most important jobs of the wedding, capturing our memories. On the day of the wedding the McDormans were the picture of professional; and they were EVERYWHERE at once, taking every picture that they could. The two of them are just wonderful people, and I was so glad to be able to spend the most special day of my life with them. Their work is stunning. The guests at the wedding even complimented us on our choice. Everyone was so impressed by their willingness to work for what must have been an exhausting day, their kind words, and their ability to work as a cohesive team to make our pictures the best quality that they could possibly be. We have definitely found the photographers that we will pick for all of the important memories in our life. They are AMAZING!

  The McDormans are two of the most incredible, creative and fun people we have ever met! Their pictures were so beautiful (b&W's, crazy, romantic shots), and it really captured the moment for us. Even our guests said Rob and Aimee made them feel like they were part of the wedding party! I would recommend them to anyone in the area (or even 'somewhat' close by) that is looking for a photographer!

  As Mother-of -the -Bride I knew we didn't have a thing to worry about with Rob and Aimee handling the photography. They are a very personable couple that enjoy their profession immensely. They put the subjects at ease and find unique settings to snap innumerable photos. We are very pleased with the engagement pictures, bridal portraits and now we are seeing some very fine wedding photos to choose from.
