I could not have asked for a smoother wedding day. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events.
I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. She communicated clearly and consistently and brought such a calm, genuine presence that immediately put me at ease. We had a few last-minute changes with some guests who were unable to attend while another one was added at the last minute. Caroline handled everything by coordinated directly with the venue to remove chairs and add name cards without needing any prompting from me.
I was extremely stressed leading up to the wedding, but in hindsight, I really didn’t need to be. Caroline had everything completely under control!
We met four times before the wedding: an initial Zoom meeting, another Zoom call about three months out to review the timeline and vendors, a venue walkthrough, and the rehearsal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and always thoughtful in her approach. It was so helpful to have a professional to bounce ideas off of, and she often raised considerations I hadn’t even thought of. I truly felt like she was my safety net throughout the process.
Caroline planned everything down to the minute while remaining flexible and when changes came up. I never once felt rushed, and I appreciated how down-to-earth and approachable she was. Our wedding day came together so well, and I genuinely believe MB Events was the cornerstone that made it all happen. -

Marissa was truly the best decision we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. From finding the perfect vendors, coordinating with them on every detail, to creating the most seamless timeline for our day. She made sure every single piece of the puzzle was taken care of and nothing was overlooked.
Throughout the entire planning process, Marissa held my hand every step of the way. She was kind, patient, organized, and genuinely cared about making the experience stress-free and enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, she and her team absolutely blew us away. Everything was executed flawlessly, I didn’t have to think about a single detail because she had already thought of it all.
I’m endlessly grateful for Marissa’s and her team at MB Events. Their dedication, warmth, and expertise was unmatched. She truly made our day everything we dreamed of and more. Wonderful Experience with MB Events/Caroline!
A team from MB Events led by Caroline worked with us on our daughter's wedding events in June 2025 -- rehearsal, welcome party, ceremony, and reception. If we could give them 6 stars we would -- Caroline really got the vibe we were all hoping for for each event, and her patience and creativity were a huge blessing. Kudos to the team, and we highly recommend! -

Don’t hesitate!
My husband, Chris, and I were fortunate enough to book with MB Events almost two years out from our wedding date of July 19, 2025. We love telling everyone that working with Marissa was the 2nd best decision we made (other than marrying each other, of course!!)
Throughout the inevitable chaos of wedding planning, Marissa was our rock. She kept us on track with timelines and payments, managed communication with nearly 10 vendors at once, and helped bring our entire wedding vision to life. She truly has “the eye” — something Chris and I lack — making her guidance that much more invaluable when crafting our mood board and creating the overall design for wedding day. Her dedication, hard work and care never went unnoticed and we even had guests come up to us that night saying how amazing her team is! Every hiccup was handled with grace and professionalism, allowing our day to run as smoothly as possible (and it did!)
If you choose to hire Marissa, just know you are not just hiring a planner but also gaining a friend and member of the family. Working with her over the last two years has been a blessing and more, and we owe so much of the joy we felt on wedding day to her.

Mbe is the best investment for your wedding
Working with Marissa, Doug & the MBE team was truly the best investment we could have made for our wedding day! We booked MBE back in January 2024 for our June 2025 wedding for partial planning & day-of coordination. Throughout the planning process, Marissa was my ROCK, making sure we stayed on track with booking vendors, creating a mood board for our day, budgeting, sending out save the dates and invitations, and taking all the necessary steps for a perfect day. Alyssa, MBE’s graphic designer, created our save the dates and invitations and was so amazing to work with, too!
All our prep work led to the most perfect and seamless wedding day. The MBE team took care of EVERYTHING, flawlessly bringing our vision to life in just a couple hours. Thanks to the MBE team, everything was absolutely perfect and we were able to have stress-free morning getting ready with the bridal party. Marissa is pure MAGIC and made me feel so at peace throughout the whole process up until the very end of our wedding day.
We’ve heard from so many couples that they were barely able to enjoy their wedding day because of all the stress / coordination, but thanks to MBE I can confidently say we had the best night of our lives at our wedding. It was a freaking dream and we couldn’t have done it without Marissa & her stellar team. BOOK THEM WHILE YOU CAN! -

Our Backyard Garden Wedding
My husband and I frequently find ourselves looking at each other and exclaiming, “we had the perfect wedding.” And we did, it was perfect in every way we could have imagined. I’m certain that we wouldn’t be able to say that if we hadn’t worked with MB Events.
For context, I didn’t want a wedding. I wanted to elope because it would be easy and I just wanted to be married, but my husband encouraged me to consider an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family on his parents’ property. He also insisted on getting a wedding planner to make this as stress-free as possible for both of us (he’s a gem and that’s why he’s my husband).
We talked to several wedding planners, but when we got off the phone with Marissa from MB Events, I immediately said “she’s the one.” Marissa was the only planner we talked to who asked about our story, our families, and our feelings right off the bat. She listened to us and gave us frank, honest advice about planning a “backyard wedding” (spoiler: it takes a village). I was truly starry-eyed while talking to her because she is the epitome of calm confidence.
Now, this land needed some serious TLC… I remember when MB Events first came to look at the property, it was hard for any of us to imagine how we could turn it into our wedding venue, but Marissa saw through the wild overgrowth and created the loveliest vision that we never would have thought of without her help. It was the spark that motivated us to make this work.
We didn’t really know what we wanted this wedding to look like, only some vague ideas: warm and whimsical, like a garden party with lots of light and color. We shared Pinterest boards with a wild mix of inspiration, and she was able to sift through all our ideas to nail down a theme that considered who we are as individuals and as a couple.
Planning a wedding on family land requires a lot more thought and effort than a wedding at a venue. You need to consider things like bathroom trailers, weather protection, parking, and countless other things that were not even close to the front of our minds. MB Events thought of everything – this was clearly not their first rodeo. Marissa put together floor plans, mood boards, and schedules detailed down to the minute. She held our hands through every step of the process, kept in contact via call and text, and sent us reminders to be sure that nothing was forgotten. We took all her recommendations without question, including her vendor recs (which are top tier, btw), and I’m so glad we did.
There are no words to adequately capture how incredible our wedding turned out to be. It all came together seamlessly, and we’ve been so humbled by the number of compliments we’ve received from our guests. But the best part for us was not having to worry about a single thing the entire wedding day. Knowing MB Events had everything handled gave us the peace of mind to be fully present (especially on the dance floor), and that is a gift that we will be forever grateful to them for. It’s priceless.
At the end of the night, we exchanged tearful goodbyes; it feels like we’ve known them for ages instead of a year. It’s so obvious that they love what they do. Their love, care, and authenticity radiates. We cannot recommend MB Events enough; we can say confidently that our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and considering one of us didn’t want a wedding in the first place, we think that’s saying something. 10/10 would renew our vows just to do it all over again. -

Marissa and her team are punctual, organized, and detail-oriented. I had a good amount of decor that I was bringing in to my venue, which the venue did not allow me to drop off prior to our wedding day. Marissa and her team were kind enough to take all of our decor the night before our wedding for us so we didn’t have to worry about it. This was a huge help and took a lot of potential stress off my plate.
Marissa kept in touch in the weeks leading up to our wedding ensuring we had the day-of timeline solidified so that I would not have to worry about anything day of, and she did not miss a beat. I was so happy to have them there with us starting at the rehearsal, all the way through the end of the night where they packed up all of our décor in a neat, organized, and careful way (we had many glass candles and other fragile décor), so that we would not have to worry about packing anything up and we could head off to our after party. They were amazing, and so helpful the entire day through.
We truly felt so special and cannot thank Marissa and her team enough. We could not have done this without them and we are so incredibly thankful. -

I cannot recommend Marissa and the MB Events team highly enough! We opted for partial planning and started working with Marissa a little less than a year before our wedding. She helped us with so much - from helping us find vendors to creating mood boards that illustrated the vision for our fall wedding to finetuning every detail of our timeline.

Marissa and her team were absolutely amazing and imperative to our beautiful wedding day. Marissa and I started working together about six months prior to our wedding. I came to her after realizing that our venue coordinator would not do the things that they originally said they would do. I was lucky enough to find Marissa and I am so thankful that I did. She was with me every step of the way, attended our walk-through with the venue and did a tremendous amount of extra work to communicate with our venue who had their own struggles with communication and processes to begin with. I can say with complete confidence that our wedding day would not have been as smooth as it was without MB events. I would recommend Marissa and her team to any bride who is looking for coordinator that will go above and beyond to make your dreams come true. -

EASY five-star rating, more if I could. Marissa took my call as a beyond-stressed bride a few weeks after getting engaged. From finding *all* of my vendors to going on venue tours with me, taking calls and helping me bring my vision to life, she was the literal crutch for my wedding planning. We nearly talked every day (sorry, MB!) and she was there whenever I needed her. She made wedding planning FUN! When it came down to the big day, I knew everything would work out because her and Doug were right by our side. Every time I caught a glimpse of her, she was running around, working, talking to people and getting sh*t done. We wouldn't have had the perfect wedding we did without MB Events. Honestly, Marissa could plan a wedding on Mars if NASA called her. -

Best Day-of Co-ord Team!!
Marissa and her team at MB events truly made our wedding day everything we could have hoped for and more. Our venue did not include any services and it was a very DIY situation. However, the MB Events team helped my husband and I stay organized with all our vendor outreach, a VERY detailed timeline, and as needed support along the way. The team was tremendously responsive in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. On the day of, we weren’t worried about anything but each other and the fun we were having. The MB Events team helped all of our guests seamlessly, they made sure to inform us of the timeline throughout the day, and truly saw to any and all of our needs. Marissa and her team kept all communication with vendors before and during the event smooth and organized and they thought of things I never would have. I was able to bounce all of my ideas off of them knowing I would receive supportive yet honest responses about how logistically those ideas might work or look. I could not have done all of the planning without this coordination team. We felt so cared for and enjoyed our day so incredibly much thanks to them. -
