  Matt Powell Productions for the WIN!

  We cannot more highly recommend, Matt Powell Productions for wedding photography and videography. Matt, Sarah, and Ben were simply amazing! We had both photography and videography at our wedding. I know many couples try to decide if videography is worth the cost, IT 100% IS, especially with Ben behind the camera! Guest who could not attend our wedding have loved our wedding video, they said it made them feel like they were there. We love watching our video, to share in those sweet moments again. I cannot say enough about how amazing Sarah is! She did our engagement session and was at the wedding. She made us feel so at easy in front of the camera. She is very professional, calming and just very fun to be around. Matt truly has built an amazing team and is a brilliant photographer. We could not be more pleased with our photos; he captured every special moment. Our wedding day turned out to be a chilly foggy day in Beech Mountain. It still was magical, and Matt, Sarah, and Ben were able to capture it. It truly felt and looked like we were getting married in the clouds. If you are trying to decide who to photograph and/or video your wedding you don’t need to look any further. Matt Powell Productions will not disappointment and they are such a joy to work with.

  January wedding

  Matt and Sarah were amazing! The day of our wedding it was raining all day and they still went outside and got amazing shots! My husband and I were very comfortable with them!

We absolutely loved working with him and could not be more thrilled with how our images turned out.   I highly recommend Matt and his team for wedding photography! He was our wedding photographer and also took some photos at our rehearsal dinner. Matt and his team are super friendly, very responsive and professional and take great pictures. I told Matt that we were more interested in candid shots and didn't want tons of posed pictures. He definitely listened and gave us exactly what we asked for; he captured lots of great natural moments. One of my fears with a photographer was having him/her distract me from the present moment - I didn't want someone interfering with the ceremony or getting in my face snapping photos. That was one of the greatest things about Matt - he blended in, he wasn't front and center taking pictures but he still managed to capture everything! He also doesn't overwhelm you with a thousand pictures of each bridesmaid coming down the aisle or 100 pictures in the same spot cutting the cake, etc. He is decisive and intentional, which is really great - it makes each picture feel really special and important. Long winded way of saying, you won't regret choosing Matt as your wedding photographer! We love all of our pictures!

  Matt and John did a fantastic job at our wedding. Our pictures are beautiful, and they were so fun to be around. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

  Matt and one of his assistants photographed our wedding and did a fantastic job! Matt was easy to contact leading up to the wedding and even afterward. It was important to me that our special moments were captured in a thoughtful and honest way. Matt did just that. We are incredibly happy with the photographs we received. His style is very natural and the candid shots are perfect. We could not have asked for better people to work with!
