  When we started planning our November destination wedding in Vancouver we knew we wanted Matt and Carissa from the start. Not only are they the absolute sweetest couple you will ever meet but they are at the very top of their industry and beyond amazing to work with. From our first skype meeting, to our engagement session and finally the big day they were professional, quick to respond, detailed and super fun! It poured on the wedding day but that did not hinder any of us. We trekked through the rain and Matt and Carissa managed to capture some of the most amazing photos we have ever seen. To top it off at the wedding Matt did a same day edit and then hooked it up to a projector to share with all of our guests, it was an amazing surprise and wowed everyone. We are beyond excited to see the rest of our photos and would book with Matt and Carissa again in a heartbeat!

  All I can say is AMAZING!!!! This husband and wife team are perfect. Matt and Carissa from the moment we sent them an email wanting to meet to discuss about doing the photography for our wedding were on the ball! From that point on they were incredibly helpful not being people who are really into weddings they help us with more than just the photography. We honestly can't say enough good things about them everyone at our wedding absolutely loved them and the pictures are out of this world!!! They are worth every penny and we couldn't have chosen better photographers anywhere!

  Matt and his wife, Carissa, are an amazing team to work with! They are exceptional at what they do, and it translates into the service and product in the end - our wedding photo's are beautiful! We still have friends and family comment on how great our photos turned out! They captured all of our special candid moments, and took beautiful portraits as well.
  
  When looking for photographers, it was important for us to have someone who made us feel like ourselves, are comfortable to be around, and easy to get along with. Matt and Carissa were the perfect fit for us right from the get-go! They are very patient, considerate, fun, and accommodating.
  
  Matt and Carissa know how to take care of their clients. They saved my wedding dress when a family member spilled tea on my white gown in the morning before the ceremony using their emergency kit. During the packed and busy schedule, they kept the mood light and happy, and even offered me water when I didn't even realize that I haven't had a break. There were so many extra little things they did that show they genuinely care about making the wedding day special for their couples. I have nothing but good things to say about these two. They are truly amazing.

  As a photographer myself I knew without a doubt that when it came to our budget that photography was going to be number one on that list. I love so many photographers of all different styles; but Matt's style of photography really spoke to us and when we met for coffee to talk wedding details we knew in a heart beat that he was our man!
  
  He made us feel so special from start to finish with little gifts that where such a lovely surprise and so very appreciated. Going above an beyond doing whatever it took to get the one perfect shot. Making two awkward people, one who prefer to be behind the lens and the other who has no clue how to be posing, feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
  
  At the end of the day when the "I do's" have been said, the food is all gone, the guests have left, everything has been cleaned up and put away… all we are left with are our photographs to document everything that happened that day. It's over so fast and hard to remember each and every single detail but whenever I want to relive that amazing day all I have to do is look through our gallery and all those emotions: the anticipation, excitement, happiness, SURPRISE. All of it comes back because he captured our day beyond perfectly.
  
  Matt we will never, never be able to truly put into words how much we love our wedding photos and we cannot thank you enough for the amazing work you did.

  Matt and Carissa did SUCH a good job on our wedding photos. I was so happy with the entire day. I let him know ahead of time certain photos or shots that I was interested it and he totally knocked it out of the park for us. Couldn't be happier with the 1000+ photos that we have of the day! Highly recommend if you can secure him!

  Tony and I couldn't have been more blessed to have found Matt & Carissa to photograph our wedding in Whister, BC!! We chose the spot for our destination wedding in March, and on short notice Matt was able to take engagement photos of us on our visit to the area! Matt & Carissa are such a great team! They are the type of people you immediately feel comfortable around which makes it easy to relax while being photographed. They bring a great energy to their work, and really make it fun!! And the photos are amazing!!! If you have an opportunity to work with Matt & Carissa Kennedy do it! You will be happy you did!!

  Matt Kennedy, what an amazing photographer!! Our photographs turned out to be like the pictures you dream of in a wedding magazine. Every single picture was beautiful.   Seriously the best photographer team I've ever met and worked with! We couldn't have found a more perfect photographer for our engagement pics and wedding. Absolutely creative, can work with your budget and kindest and caring couple. Absolutely amazing work! My husband hates having his photo taken and Matt was able to put him at ease and actually enjoy photos. Incredible!

  Hiring Matt Kennedy Photography was the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. Matt and his wife, Carissa, are such kind people, and go above and beyond for their clients. Matt's talents are amazing and constantly evolving. We have been blessed to have him capture our most important moments over the last few years, starting with our maternity photos, newborn photos, many family sessions, and most recently, our wedding. Matt's work speaks for itself, but we wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone!

  We are very happy with both our engagement photos, and our wedding photos. We received TONS of compliments on them as well :)
  Matt is a great guy! He makes you feel like you are the most special couple he has ever taken a picture of. You can tell he loves his job! He is great at capturing creative shots, and is an all round professional.
  His wife Carissa is also wonderful! She was very helpful and always got back to me promptly. You will not be disappointed if you hire Matt Kennedy for your special day!
