Mike and Tara were easy to work with from the first Zoom call. They were friendly and approachable while also feeling like they were professional, organized, and experienced enough to be great photographers. Mike took our engagement photos which were included in the package with our wedding day, and it was a great way to get to know him and made shooting on the wedding day even more comfortable. It also definitely helped that after seeing the engagement photos we knew that the wedding photos were going to be awesome! It was easy to just trust them and go with the flow. They are a great team and do an excellent job of being efficient without making you feel rushed through all the photos, and they have fun while they’re doing it. Their services felt very worth it for the time and the price that they gave us. We would highly recommend MASH to other couples. -

I really enjoyed working with Michael and Tara. Communication was great. They were flexible which was great due to some last minute changes. They captured great moments and I love our photos. They caught some photos we wouldn’t have thought about. -

MASH Photography was by far the best vendor we had for our wedding, which my guests and bridal party made sure to let me know!
They took our engagement photos, which turned out even better than we had imagined, so we are SO excited to see our wedding photos! They were on time and made it very easy to communicate and coordinate throughout the day. They both have a special eye for detail which I appreciate so much. They will notice the tiniest things, like a stray hair which make all the difference in the quality of their work. I truly can’t recommend them enough. I’m already trying to figure out what kind of photo shoot we could hire them for next! We think their prices are great, also. They actually gave us a discount because they hadn’t shot at our venue before, which is so awesome! -

Mash has helped us through the pandemic wedding, from our absolutely incredible engagement shoot, to our intimate wedding day. I was truly amazed with the results from our engagement shoot, and all my family and friends wanted copies of our pictures because of how great they were. On our wedding day, Michael was the first to fix my dress, while Tara made sure to wrangle everyone for pictures. They truly are the best power couple photographers, and I will definitely be calling them up in the future. My wedding album is so special and beautiful, and captured our love for each other on the rainiest of wedding days. Wonderful Photographer for my Winter Wedding
I used MASH Photography for my December wedding at the Cotton Room in Durham. The venue was really pretty and Michael and Tara worked together to get the most beautiful photos for our wedding day. Their style is just what I wanted for my big day! They were both very friendly and worked with what I wanted. I asked for some certain photos and they got the these and included many other shots that were gorgeous as well. Having MASH photography for my wedding was perfect and my wedding photos lived up to all my expectations. -

MASH photography is definitely my number one pick. I have never been so comfortable taking professional pictures. From our engagement session to our wedding day the photos are absolutely stunning. I will forever cherish them. Michael was very prompt with all emails with questions & concerns I would have. Michael & Tara were amazing with telling us how to stand & not look awkward! They made it fun and I knew they had captured some amazing moments. I am so happy we had them on our wedding day & can’t wait to be able to use them again. Thanks so much again! -

Michael & Tara are literally part of our family! We hired them a year ago to take family photos before Kyle's mother passed away. They made us laugh, made the process enjoyable, and delivered amazing photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives. When we got engaged there was no question who we wanted to shoot our wedding photos. MASH Photography is one of a kind, as a wedding planner they are my top choice every time. We couldn't picture having a wedding without them! -

Michael and Tara from MASH Photography are such an awesome team! They weathered heat and early mornings for our engagement photos and caught every detail of our wedding. We chose MASH because of their portfolio and versatility (and hometown connections), and they worked magic on every photo. Neither of us are very creative when it comes to being in front of a camera, and MASH helped set us up and helped us pose - we felt very at ease in front of the camera. They're super responsive, and their turnaround time between your shoot and when you get your album is SUPER quick, despite being in the busy season. Plus, they're all around super cool humans. 10/10 would recommend. -

Great experience. It was a torrential downpour the day of my wedding but they somehow managed to get some really great shots despite the horrible lighting and despite all of the rain. I was freaking out because we were running behind schedule with everything and Tara and Michael both worked hard to ease my worries and keep things running smoothly despite the delays with the ceremony and decorations even. Tara was incredibly patient and calming and I cannot say enough about how her demeanor helped ease the tension I was feeling. Highly recommend!!!!! -

AMAZING Experience!
We were blessed to know MASH Photography through their work at Focus Church as well as through their Facebook page. Their quality of pictures always astounded us and we always dreamed of hiring a photographer that would capture pictures of our wedding that would be as qualified as them. Of course, being on a budget meant that there was not gonna be a way for us to afford such awesome pictures right? WRONG! Not only were they crazy affordable, but they were so sweet and supportive towards our financial needs! They treated us like friends, not a paycheck! This was as special to them as it was for us, and you could tell by the amazing pictures they took! We are forever thankful for MASH photography and their fantastic work!! -

Michale and Tara are amazing photographers! When we were thinking who would take out photos for our wedding we immediately wrote them and requested the date to be reserved because we knew that the experience would be special. We did both engagement photos and of course the wedding and both experiences were so much fun! The quality of service they provide is professional yet so inviting and comfortable. When we got our photos back from them we were SO thrilled of the outcome! They capture every moment from behind the scenes to dancing to even our decor. Going through our pictures even now make me feel as thought it was just yesterday! :) I highly recommend this amazing duo for your special occasion or any event! -
