The food for our wedding far exceeded our expectations as well as the service. We had several guests rave about the food and service provided by MCC. The food was delicious and the service was professional and friendly.
It was a pleasure planning the menu with Dave and Jen. They were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. Additionally, they were extremely helpful in recommendations for our menu and the settings.

Dave and his staff were the true stars of this service. They accommodated non traditional wedding food (Thai and Tex-Mex) and everyone (including some of the pickier eaters in the family) commented on how good the food was. Although food is the most important aspect in assessing a catering service, the human element of Maryland Country Caterers was also world class. At no point before or during the wedding did we feel we were being nickeled and dimed and the staff felt like true partners in creating the menu we wanted for our wedding. Dave always took our wishes into account and advised us on any changes he would make based on his many years of experience. We wanted to cater a few dishes from our favorite Thai restaurant and he was able to accommodate the other vendor seamlessly. Dave said they pride themselves on never having lines at the bar and they delivered on that promise for our almost 200 person wedding. MD Country helped us truly bring our vision to life. -

Maryland Country Caterers is a wonderful catering business who catered our wedding on 11/6/21. Working with Jen and Dave was awesome as they both were quick in responding to any email, text, or phone call, and were a breeze to work with. We got so many compliments on our food, especially the pear and cheese pasta purses! We appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtfulness that went into preparing for our day and making sure that everything went well the day of. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer in the Southern Maryland Area. Thank you guys so much!

We used Maryland Country Caterers for our wedding and they were such a pleasure to work with! They also basically served as our day-of coordinator so that was extremely helpful too.
Dave and Jen we’re always very responsive to all of my questions, went back and forth with us on our menu to stay in budget, and made sure we had all of the food we wanted. They even let us do multiple tastings. They are both extremely knowledgeable so had lots of good suggestions for things that I didn’t even think about. They said we would be treated like royalty on our wedding day and make sure we were fed and they kept this promise! While I was getting bustled, Kayla brought me and some of the wedding party our own plate of appetizers to eat and then later in the night we got to our sweetheart table for dinner and there were plates of food waiting for us! The food was delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing everything tasted. Someone even said it was some of the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! We highly recommend this company if you want to not be stressed about your catering needs. A big thank you to Dave, Jen, and Kayla! -

My husband and I got married on November 2, 2019. David and Jen were amazing. They helped so much during our whole wedding planning process and were also very responsive to all of the questions we had! On the day of the wedding, it was so nice not to have to worry about anything, because I knew David was in control of it all! If there was ever a problem with anything, he took care of it and I didn't even know about it. They really do it all and think of every little detail to make sure your day is everything you've dreamed of. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments on it! I highly recommend Maryland Country Caterers for any events you may be planning. Thanks again David and Jen!! You make a great team. -

We chose this company because I searched long and hard for someone that would accommodate my vision of family style dinner. I wanted to create an atmosphere where people at the tables had to engage in conversation to get what they wanted on their plates. We have people that went from strangers to friends and everyone still talks about the food. Let’s not forget Dave! He makes you feel like you’re the only bride that matters. If you are looking for a caterer, decorator, and wedding coordinator all rolled into one, then look no further that Maryland Country Catering. These guys are beyond amazing. We spoke with Dave while doing a venue tour and were immediately impressed with all that Maryland Country Catering had to offer. We decided to go with a different venue, but knew we needed these guys to be our caterer and were thrilled when they still agreed to work with us. From day 1 we felt like we were the only clients they were working with. They never seemed too busy to chat or go over details. We live out of the area and they were always willing to accomodate our unique planning situation and ensure we weren't overlooked or missed anything. Not only were we provided with a delicious menu tasting event where we were able to sample a huge variety of menu items, they were even willing to make us additional choices of items to try which weren't served on our tasting day. They also took care of table centerpieces and odds/ends decorations as needed, which was a huge help! Jenn's eye for design and the warehouse of decorations we were able to look at was incredible. She even worked with me for item specific decoration ideas. We were able to drop off all our personal decorations with them 2 weeks before our wedding and they handled the setup and take down of all of it, making the end of the night cleanout painless. All of the staff were incredible, and we were surprised how many of our guests knew everyone's name at the end of the night. They helped to coordinate everything and everyone day of leaving us to just enjoy our day together and not have to worry about any details. They are truly a blessing in the wedding catering world and I would choose them again and again! -

I feel like every woman has her dream wedding planned even before she meets her future husband. As a little girl you are fascinated by weddings, meeting your prince charming, and growing up faster than your parents would like. I was lucky enough to have my dream wedding and I owe all my thanks to the team at Maryland Country Caterers. Not only did they go out of their way to make planning stress free for us, but they took every idea I gave them and made it a reality. My wedding was absolutely perfect and I am so grateful for the amazing people who made that happen. I never hesitated in putting all my trust in Dave and Jen to make sure all my dreams were brought to life. I had no worries on my wedding day because I knew they had everything under control and they would make sure everything started on time. From the centerpieces and the decor, to the buffets and the cookie table, everything was beautiful. My guests raved about the food and the flaming donuts were a hit.
The biggest compliment to Maryland Country Caterers was that multiple wedding guests have commented on how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to and we firmly believe that without Dave and Jen, this would not be the case. We cannot thank you enough for everything that you did in making our wedding day the best day ever!

Dave and Jen from Elegance by Maryland Country Caterers are amazing. Our venue had four exclusive caterers to chose from and we are over the moon pleased with our choice. Our meal was amazingly tasty. Even had a couple of people ask us after if we could get them the risotto recipe. Through the planning process they helped us bring our vision to life. That itself was a feat because it was in my head and not on a dream/vision board. And, they made our Pittsburgh Cookie Table into a work of art! Thank you for making our day so special and something to remember for a lifetime. -

My husband and I are vegetarian and have been for many years. It was important for us to be able to share our life-style with our guests. We love cooking and we are very creative (we don't just eat tofu and raw veggies). Maryland Country Caterers provided an incredible experience for our guests and even the "carnivores" didn't miss the meat. We had stations for create your own stir fry, flat breads, and salads. We were honestly nervous after some of our other tastings, as we had some caterers tell us that we shouldn't "make our guests eat veggies for a night." This caterer was just the opposite and they supported us in our decision and helped us share our love for food with our guests.
Additionally, Maryland Country Caterers brought some decor with them that rounded out food displays perfectly and fit in incredibly with the rest of our wedding.
We loved them so much that we are trying to figure out when we can hire them again. -

Easy to work with and the food is top notch. They are very flexible, I felt bad for emailing them as much as I did but they never acted like the changes were a burden. They offer tastings at scheduled times where you are able to try lots of different appetizers, mains, sauces, and even some drinks. It really helped trying to conceptualize our menu. We got lots of compliments on the food. -

I met with both Dave and Jen several times and they always made time and answered all my questions via text or emails. Everything went so smooth on our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. We rented linens, centerpieces, and window panes (seating arrangements) and they were all set up beautifully- I couldn't have done what they did by myself. If there were any issues during my ceremony or reception, I wouldn't have ever known and that made the day so much better. Everyone LOVED our food!! The timeline they helped us create went extremely smooth with our DJ's help as well. We can't thank Dave and Jen enough for a perfect wedding! -
Christal Sent on 07/26/2018The best your going to find!!! Stop your search!! Dave is a phenomenal caterer wedding planner! He went above and beyond helping me and my husband plan our dream wedding. He went out of his way and did many things not in his job description, he was outstanding!!!! He is genuinely happy and focused on each wedding he does! He will put your needs first! I absolutely loved the food!! It was delicious!! My guests raved!! We kept in contact almost daily during my planning and he made it so easy! On the big day it rained, the limo had a flat and anything else before the ceremony you could think of went wrong! Dave saved the day! He was in their with his elbows made sure things got done and time was a little off but we couldn’t help that. Dave is an amazing person!! It went so smoothly after I walked down the aisle and my glass was always full! The wedding was perfect!! Jen decorated with my rose gold and blush color theme/travel theme with suitcases and the tables and linens were breath taking! I can go on for hours about how much I love this company! I wouldn’t use anyone else!! If you want your day to be a dream come true, choose this company! Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

We had to book them per the guidelines of our venue (Running Hare Vineyard) but that made things very easy for us. They were worth every penny and really made our wedding spectacular. Our food was absolutely delicious and our bar provided magnificent drink choices. They also ensured that everything went smoothly and coordinated everything the day of the wedding. I recommend Maryland Country Caterers for anyone for their special day.

We had to find a new caterer and luckily our new venue recommended MCC and Dave took us on even last minute. Our wedding would not have been as smooth, beautiful and amazing as it was without MCC. Dave, Jenn, and Tabatha were amazing. They set up and made everything beautiful. They broke down everything at the end make it a smooth process.
They coordinated a timeline and they made everything perfect. I can't get over how amazing they were. They thought of everything, from making sure there was a cute table with water by the ceremony area because it was hot and out doors, to adding little touches making sure everything looked perfect together. The food was amazing and we got nothing but compliments about the food. They made sure to keep everything in line.
I could go on and on with how flexible they were. I can tell you, they are worth every single penny. I would choose them over and over again. Seriously, just meet them and do a tasting and you won't be able to go with anyone else. -

Lauren Sent on 11/12/2014Dave and his crew are wonderful! I had a big change in circumstance after the sudden death of a close family member during the wedding planning process. Dave and Jen helped me make the situation so much easier. Dave really helps you to feel comfortable, feeds you when you come in to see him, gives you a lot of options. Everyone raved that our food was great - and it was! We had a unique selection of artisan bar with a dessert table instead of a tiered cake. I loved how unique it was and how it suited us a couple. The day of, we were taken care of and their staff is also super friendly. We loved working with them and were SO happy they catered our wedding. I also liked that they gave us MANY options on how to serve our guests. We didn't have to stick to anything in particular. Thanks Uncle Dave! -

Melissa Sent on 09/08/2013Wow ... where to start. Yes ... yes go meet Dave and you will not regret it. The whole process of hiring his company for our wedding was easy and stress free.
The whole process with Dave was fun and I would do it all over again without batting an eye.
Food selection for the menu was great and he was more than open to feedback as well as changes. His teams service was absolutely SPOT on!!!! Scott as well as Dave himself were very attentive and the staff was incredibly professional. They handled the whole day for us ... from telling the girls when to start walking to the perfect food. The flexibility of their service can accomdate any type of wedding I would be willing to say.
The special touches of making sure the bride/groom leave with to go boxes of food with plates and plasticware made it so I was able to taste my food when I finally was hungery after the wedding. The team was great in making sure we were with drink in hand (asking if we wanted wine or water) to the point you would think they were reading your mind.
Our guests were so pleased, well taken care of, happy, and I could go on and on ....

We used MCC for our wedding on 10/23/10 and we couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism and not to mention the food! We loved the company so much that my mom used them to cater my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner as well as reception.
David really took care of me and my family for my entire bridal experience. I left everything in his hands and he did not disappoint.
Advice for future brides - you will not regret choosing MCC for your event. All my guests LOVED the food and presentation. -

The only complaint I had is that the Chicken for our buffet was alittle dry. I was dissapointed in regards to that, but otherwise the rest of the food was great. They took all of the extras we had and set it up for us as well. I would highly recommend them. -

Booking Maryland Country Caterers was the best decision I made for our wedding. When I initially got a quote that was higher than I wanted to spend, they quickly worked with me to come up with a budget that incorporated everything I wanted at a price I could afford. MCC was truly worth the price because they made the day SO smooth, beautiful, and the food was delicious. For me, it was worth booking them because of all the details they are so willing to take care of for you. They essentially decorated my whole reception room and coordinated the whole day. Dave and Jenn are extremely professional. It is obvious they are experts in the wedding catering industry, and they are personable and easy to trust.
The food at MCC is amazing. We loved the tasting and it was so tempting to incorporate all the tasty options that they have! They made sure to have vegetarian meals available for vegetarian/vegan guests- their attention to details like this (allergies too) is so nice. They really leave no detail unattended and make sure you don’t forget anything. They served drinks and had a table of appetizers at our cocktail hour in a separate room. Our guests loved how they had wine and beer ready for them the second they walked into the cocktail hour! Everyone loved our buffet dinner at the wedding. I chose to get cake from Sam’s Club and my husband wanted ice cream from a creamery near where he grew up. MCC fully supported this decision and served the cake and ice cream for us which we really appreciated. I knew the food would be awesome as they also catered my sister’s wedding, but I think I was most impressed with how seamlessly they coordinated the day and set up our reception area. I gave them a box with pictures for the cake table, toasting glasses, a large seating chart and easel, and a few other items. They set them up beautifully and positioned them in the room in just the way we discussed. Their tablecloths/table settings were gorgeous. They have a whole warehouse of decorations you can rent, and I chose to rent table numbers and silver votives for the tables. These looked wonderful and I am so glad they took care of that for us! I chose a simple reception area at my church and they transformed it into the setting of my dreams. I really couldn’t have been happier with how it looked.
During the planning process Jenn and Dave were both very responsive and easy to work with. Dave went above and beyond by coming to our venue multiple times to ensure he had the appropriate tables, staff, and logistics all figured out for the day. I appreciated how Dave gave us his insight on things like how many servings of cake to order, how much wine/beer/liquor to order, when to do the father daughter dance, and a wedding timeline for a perfect day. I appreciated Jenn’s creative eye and helpful suggestions for tasteful décor. MCC really is your day-of coordinator in addition to the delicious food they provide. We ended up having pretty much a perfect amount of alcohol for our group and hardly ever a line at the bar! They did a fantastic job with the bar. They put leftover food and drinks in coolers for us, prepared delicious to-go meals for the bride and groom that we enjoyed the next day, and even helped my parents pack up the cars! They cleaned up the two rooms that we were in (one for cocktail hour and one for reception) so well that we didn’t have to do a thing the next day.
I can’t say enough great things about Maryland Country Caterers! I highly recommend them for your wedding reception or other catering event! -

David and Jen were such a joy to work with. We had so much fun planning our menu and even more fun attending the food tasting! The staff was so sweet and the food was incredible!! This was my now husband's favorite part of the entire planning period, naturally! Haha!
Leading up to the event, I will say there was one occurrence where I was a bit concerned with the planning after I had to request the final invoice multiple times before receiving it, knowing we had a a deadline to pay. Then once I received the invoice, we had to have it corrected three times.
The day of the wedding, everything went pretty well. The staff was so great, everything was setup perfectly and the food was over the top! People were going crazy about it at the wedding, unfortunately for me! The one item I really wanted to eat that night, the goat cheese pasta pockets, were so good, they were gone before I could even get any!
While we were so happy with everything, overall, the bartender did run out of one of the mixes for our specialty drink before dinner even started, making us wonder if the drinks were being made properly or if enough mixer had been bought for the estimated number of drinks, considering there was still plenty of liquor.
All in all, we definitely recommend MD Country Catering. They were so helpful throughout all of the planning process and the service and food were to die for! -

We had a few mistakes during the planning phase but MCC really pulled through and made sure that we were highly satisfied with their services, food, and all the little details they took care of. Dave, one of the owners, gave us his personal attention which went a long way toward calming a nervous bride. MCC was wonderful and not only did they take care of the food, but they acted as a wedding planner and organized/made sure my day went off without a hitch. The staff was wonderful, attentive, and always there for any little question. I would highly recommend MCC as a catering company.
