From the very beginning, working with Martin & Co. Premier Event Planning was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
I had never even been to a wedding before, so I truly didn’t know where to start. They guided me every step of the way and exceeded every expectation. Terri Martin and Shelby Martin were incredible to work with. They made everything feel effortless with so much patience, care, and expertise.
The entire team went above and beyond. From the decor to the overall vibe to handling all the stress leading up to the big day, they were always checking in and making sure everything was on track. They gave me complete confidence that everything would come together perfectly, and it did.
Our wedding day was flawless. Everything was planned to a tee, we stayed on schedule, and I would not change a single thing. Any potential stress was handled so smoothly that I didn’t feel it at all.
A huge shoutout to my assistant Chloe, who was amazing. She steamed dresses, helped us get ready, and made sure we could relax and enjoy the moment. During the wedding, she was always one step ahead, fixing my hair, helping with my dress, and grabbing anything I needed without me even asking.
Our wedding was beautiful, fun, and elegant. None of it would have been possible without this team.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the amazing job Terri and Shelby did planning my son's wedding! We had an overall wonderful experience with Terri and Shelby and are so grateful for everything they did to help bring our wedding vision to life. From our very first consultation call, I got an instant good feeling from them both. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciated the heart behind their operation and loved hearing about their family background and Terri’s mom being a wedding cake baker. It felt personal and genuine from the beginning.
They were incredibly organized, kept detailed records of vendors and information, and truly helped us see our vision through. A couple months before the wedding, they drove a long distance to our home to help us put together wedding favors, which meant so much to us and showed a level of care that went beyond expectations. Our wedding also happened to fall on Shelby’s birthday, and the fact that she spent that day helping make our wedding special did not go unnoticed!
They were also so prepared! I ended up developing a bit of a migraine as the wedding day progressed, and Terri was ready with Excedrin and a big glass of water for me. I didn’t even have to tell her, she could see it in my eyes, as I had mentioned I suffer from migraines in our multitude of phone calls with one another. You don’t get that level of care from just anyone.
We were also honored to be their first Greek wedding, and we were really impressed with how they handled all of the cultural traditions and differences with such positivity and openness.
The only thing I would mention for future couples is to have a detailed conversation upfront about what specific tasks are included in your planner package and what responsibilities may still fall on you. For example, I ended up creating the seating chart, name cards, and floor plan myself because our venue didn’t already have an existing floor plan. This wasn’t a negative experience, but setting those expectations early would help ensure everyone is on the same page.
Overall, we are incredibly grateful, happy with our experience, and would absolutely recommend Terri and Shelby to other couples. Thank you both for helping make our day so special!
